[Music plays]

Dillon: [As Humphrey Bogart] "Most promises aren't worth the breath it takes to make them. This one's on the line -- I love you. No matter what happens, no matter where we go from here, I'll go on loving you. Because you're the one, kid, the reason for everything."

Luke: Hey, look, the cops are after us. How well do you lie to your father?

Dillon: Wait, wait a second, you broke Skye out of PCPD?

Luke: It was a transfer van, but we'll recap that later.

[Pounding on door]

Mac: Police! Open up! Come on, I know you're in there!

Jax: You know Iíve been hurt in the past, and I tried to shut off my feelings. I thought I could survive that way, until I fell for you. Now you've inspired me to take this chance. And since I started this, I -- I should be the one to say it first. I --

Courtney: Stop.

Woman: Hmm.

Lorenzo: I assume you received the wire transfer?

Woman: Yes. I wanted you to know Iím prepared to move forward with the job.

Lorenzo: Good.

Woman: You don't want the details?

Lorenzo: The method is less important than the result. Just make sure Durant is dead and that it looks like Sonny Corinthos is to blame.

Sonny: Hey guys.

Michael: Hey Daddy!

Carly: Hey, hey!

Sonny: Hey. How would you like you and Leticia babysitting tonight?

Carly: Ooh, where are we going?

Sonny: We are going out tonight, just the two of us. I'm getting you out of here.

Steven: Hey, John. So why did you want to see me?

John: Consider this an exit interview. You're fired.

Mac: Open the door!

Georgie: Wait a minute, wait a minute, I have an idea, but you guys have to get behind the bar, please?

Mac: Open up! Let's go!

Georgie: Ok, Dillon, Dillon, did you bring the condoms?

Dillon: The what?

Georgie: The condoms.

Luke: Here are your condoms. Not a very practical place for contraception, my boy.

Mac: Open this door!

[Pounding on door]

Georgie: Come here. Open the box.

Dillon: Open the box? What, are you nuts?

Skye: Georgie, hurry!

Mac: This is your last chance!

Skye: Get down!

Dillon: Ok, now I know you're crazy.

Georgie: Come on! Let's go!

[Door crashes open]

Mac: Spencer! Georgie?

Georgie: Dad? Oh my gosh!

Woman: First, I have to get close to Durant.

Lorenzo: Fortunately, he has a reputation as a lady's man, so you should have no trouble introducing yourself. I think you've got everything it takes to get the job done.

Lois: That must be some resume. Aren't you going to introduce me to your new employee?

Sonny: Wow.

Carly: Hmm.

Sonny: Very nice.

Carly: Oh. Why, thank you. I could say the same thing. You know, a lot of women would kill for those dimples.

Sonny: Yeah?

Carly: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: I'm excited that we're going out tonight.

Carly: Me, too. It's exactly what I need.

Sonny: Yeah, I know.

Carly: Hmm.

Sonny: What the -- you're supposed to be asleep, young man. We tucked you into bed.

Carly: Hey.

Michael: I heard voices and I thought it was Mr. Durant coming to take Mommy.

Carly: Yeah. Sweetie, Iím fine. Come here. No one's going to hurt us. Ok?

Courtney: Jax, I love spending time with you. You know, I mean, I smile so much when Iím around you, my face even hurts.

Jax: Well, that's good.

Courtney: And you make me look forward to every day.

Jax: Beats wanting to crawl back under the covers.

Courtney: Yeah, I know that I would really miss being friends with you.

Jax: Friends?

Courtney: Ok. I've been leading you on, Jax, and it's wrong. No, it's -- the truth is, is I am terrified of taking the next step. You know, and what we've been doing the last few months, it's -- it's safe. Look, I don't think I can make a relationship work. I've just got so much baggage.

Jax: You'll get past that.

Courtney: But you deserve more. And I'm not sure that I'll ever be ready for this.

Jax: Why? Because you're still in love with Jason?

Steven: You're the one who hired me as a forensic consultant. Why do you want to have me fired?

John: Did you warn Carly about seeing me?

Steven: No. No. But we have Alcazar on a leash, and I thought that meant that we didn't need to use Carly against Sonny.

John: All right, look doc, I like Carly. I really do.

Steven: I'm glad to hear it, John, because she's your daughter.

John: She's also a potential witness against a major racketeer. It is my job to protect the interests of the government.

Steven: Even if that means using your own daughter?

John: So you're admitting you're trying to protect Carly?

Steven: It's called compassion, John. And I know that Carlyís gotten to you because you're trying to keep her out of this.

John: I need to know if I have your full support, period.

Steven: You can count on me, John.

John: Good. Then I guess you still have a job. I'll be in touch.

Jason: What was that about?

Mac: Get away from my daughter. Get away from my daughter!

Georgie: Dad, stop it, stop it!

Mac: This is your idea of a school project, seducing my child?

Georgie: I'm not a child anymore, Dad! That's just how you see me!

Mac: You know, you lied to me, Dillon. I don't want you anywhere near my daughter!

Dillon: Wait a second, wait a second --

Mac: We're going home.

Georgie: Dad!

Mac: We're going home! And if I ever catch you near Georgie, the law won't be enough to stop me! Let's go.

Georgie: Dad -- Dillon, I love you, and my dad is not enough to keep me apart from you!

Dillon: Oh.

Skye: Oh. I am so sorry.

Luke: What are you sorry about? You did great. He was so busy being an outraged parent, he forgot to search.

Dillon: Oh, I'm real glad you're happy my life is over.

Diego: Tell me that isn't the biggest bear you've ever seen.

Brook Lynn: Yeah, so it's big.

Diego: Well, took some wicked skills to get you that.

Lucas: It was a lucky toss.

Diego: Oh, you're just bent because you couldn't even win a goldfish.

Brook Lynn: Hey, look, who cares? I stopped playing with toys like that when I was, what, 4?

Diego: Oh, be honest, you love teddy. Don't throw it away for him for being a lame date.

Lucas: We weren't on a date. We were babysitting you.

Brook Lynn: Hey, look, he's not worth it, all right?

Diego: Yeah. In other words, she's afraid that if you hit me, I'll kick your butt.

Sonny: Hey, hey, hey! Hey! Enough.

Carly: Lucas, you all right?

Diego: Hey, you're Sonny Corinthos.

Sonny: You want to fight? You go someplace else.

Diego: Hey, sorry for the disturbance. I meant no disrespect.

Carly: Who are you?

Diego: Diego Sanchez. This guy was making trouble for me and my friend Brook.

Sonny: Whoa, whoa! Hey, hey!

Carly: This guy happens to be Sonny's brother-in-law.

Sonny: All right, you know what?

Lucas: Carly's my sister.

Sonny: Hey. Ok, you need to leave. Don't bother Lucas or Brook Lynn again.

Lucas: I'm sorry about that. I'll take Brook home. We were together tonight.

Sonny: Where's your mother?

Brook Lynn: Probably down in The Cellar.

Carly: Ok, look, Sonny, why don't you take Brook Lynn down into The Cellar? I need to speak to my little brother.

Sonny: Ok, let's go.

Brook Lynn: Hey, sorry about this.

Lucas: We'll do it again -- without the third wheel.

Brook Lynn: Cool.

Carly: So you've got a girlfriend?

Lucas: Would've been, like, our second date, but Lois made us bring Diego along because he's Courtneyís new foster kid.

Carly: Wh-- what?

Courtney: Look, Jax, Jasonís always going to matter to me.

Jax: You know, you've been honest with me about your feelings for Jason, but I think you should be honest with yourself. I mean, you let go of Jason a long time ago. I think what we have scares you because it's unfamiliar.

Courtney: Please, Jax, don't make this any harder than it already is.

Jax: No, you believe that love has to hurt; that it isn't genuine unless it's tearing your heart out. But I think it's a lot more like the way you described it before -- that if you look forward to seeing someone every day, if they make you laugh and you enjoy their company, maybe that means you're falling for them.

Courtney: It means that Iím having fun.

Jax: I think it's more than that. That's why Iím not going to give up on you.

[Phone rings]

Jax: Hmm. That'd be the phone.

[Ring]

Courtney: Hello?

Carly: Hey. It's me. I'm over at Kellyís.

Courtney: Hey, is everything ok?

Carly: No, I just met the latest addition to your family.

Courtney: Great. What did Diego do now?

Jax: Oh.

Lois: I'm Lois Cerullo, C.E.O. of L&B Records. And you are?

Woman: Lana. But I'm not an employee. I work freelance.

Lois: Oh, that's what they're calling it these days.

Lana: I have to make a phone call. It was nice to talk to you, Lorenzo. Have a good night.

Lorenzo: Thanks.

Lois: Bye.

Lorenzo: Is there a problem, Lois?

Lois: I admit it; I'm curious. What were you talking to blondie about so intently? Although, it looks like Iím the least of your problems. Your new pal Durant just walked in.

Lorenzo: Does he make you uncomfortable?

Lois: Not at all. I'm a law-abiding citizen, which is more than you can say. Mr. Crime-buster Durant is out to get you, and he's not afraid to show it.

Jason: You worked with Durant in Manhattan. You both show up in Port Charles around the same time. Coincidence?

Steven: Look, I'm here to be close to my sister. It's true I asked John to put in a good word at the PCPD because I wanted to keep working as a forensic consultant.

Jason: Right, right, but whose plan was it to become friends with Carly, yours or Durantís?

Steven: I genuinely like Carly.

Jason: You do?

Steven: Yeah.

Jason: Ok, so you know that Durant is working Carly for evidence, but maybe you have a problem with that now. Maybe Durantís trying to force you into helping him anyway. Is that what you guys were arguing about? Were you trying to stop Durant from using Carly?

Luke: And my theory is that whoever framed Skye for the murder is the same person that had me locked in the cookie jar for the last three months.

Skye: She's got some connection to Luke. We just can't figure out what it is yet.

Dillon: Guys, it's not that I don't want to help you.

Luke: Good, because we need cash fast.

Dillon: Fine. You know what; you just made Mac my mortal enemy. Take everything I've got.

Luke: Great. $4?

Dillon: What do you want, blood? I'm trying to create a mood here, Luke. It's expensive.

Skye: Well, at least it looked like you were having a good time.

Luke: Yeah, you can get back to the tunnel of love as soon as we're clear.

Dillon: Luke, you know that I think you're awesome, right, and normally I'd be, like, right there with you, but I got to be a good civilian here. I mean, I got to be everything that Commissioner Scorpio would want for his daughter. I'll stop jaywalking. I'll cook cookies. I'll buy puppies. I'll cut my hair, too.

Luke: Oh, take it easy, boy.

Dillon: None of this is easy, Luke! None of this is easy! The last thing I need is aiding and abetting a fugitive. Mac would put me in jail for jaywalking.

Skye: Dillon, really, if there was another way, we would --

Dillon: No, no, no, you know what, you know what, the next thing you guys are going to be asking me to do is robbing the Quartermaines so that we can pawn it off for cash.

Luke: Good idea.

Dillon: Thank you. No, no! I'm not -- guys, I'm not doing -- I got -- you know what, I just severed Georgie and my relationship forever for you guys. I got to make amends with Mac, ok?

Skye: Dillon, listen, as soon as Luke and I can exonerate ourselves, we'll tell Mac the truth.

Dillon: Mac walked in on Georgie and me and a box of condoms. None of this is going to be ok!

Luke: Look, all you got to tell him is it could've been a lot worse. You could've been here without the condoms.

Skye: Uh, not helping.

Luke: All right, try this -- bubba thinks that Skye killed a police detective. Now, if you help us find the real killer and clear this innocent woman's name, that outraged parent will turn into a grateful public servant and probably give you a medal for it.

Mac: Georgie, Dillon is no good.

Georgie: I get it, I get it, you're going to try and break us up. But guess what, Dad -- it's not going to work because I love Dillon and I chose him, and the last time I checked, I have rights such as free will.

Mac: Look, this isn't the Georgie I raised, ok? You're breaking curfew. Your grades have never been so low. And tonight I find you're about to have sex with Dillon.

Georgie: Dad, that's what people do when they care about each other.

Mac: Sweetheart, it's what adults do.

Georgie: I'm growing up. Get over it.

Mac: This is what Iím talking about. You're not showing an ounce of remorse for --

Georgie: Because I didn't do anything wrong!

Mac: You're flaunting the fact that you and Dillon were planning on having sex tonight!

Georgie: Dad, I just want to live my life! I'm tired of being what everyone else wants to be -- the perfect daughter, the perfect A-student, the one with the perfect manners! I'm tired of it!

Mac: Georgie -- Georgie, you were always so proud of doing well, ok? We never pushed you to excel. You did that yourself.

Georgie: Maybe I'm tired of trying so hard. Maybe this is who I really am.

Mac: You know, there's nothing wrong with being smart and sensible. I mean, you don't have to try and change just because you're normal.

Georgie: I hate that word, "normal." It's boring. This is the new me, and you're going to have to deal with it.

Mac: All right, fine. Well, fine, then you're grounded.

Georgie: You cannot lock me in here like a prisoner.

Mac: I'm your father. I'll do what needs to be done.

Georgie: Fine. And if I break the rules?

Mac: If you break the rules?

Georgie: Yeah.

Mac: Then you're going to boarding school. You just deal with that.

Georgie: Yes!

Lorenzo: Look, Durant isn't here for me. This is Carlyís club. He's probably hoping he'll run into his daughter.

Lois: He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who goes off-duty.

Lorenzo: And I'm not the kind of guy to run from a fight. But I have to say I like your protective side. You're worried about me.

Brook Lynn: Hey, ma? I need you, like, now.

Lois: Honey, where's Diego?

Brook Lynn: Who cares about Diego? What are you doing here with him?

Lois: Ahem. Mr. Alcazar and I are having a private conversation, which is none of your --

Brook Lynn: Yeah, well, this conversation is over, and I don't want you anywhere near my ma ever again.

John: Well, well, if it isn't my reluctant son-in-law.

Sonny: Carly -- you know, she's made it clear she doesn't want to have anything to do with you so, you know, I think it would be best if you just left.

Carly: I'm sorry I haven't had you over in a while. It's been really hectic.

Lucas: I know. You found your dad. That's huge.

Carly: Yeah. How much has Mom told you about him?

Lucas: Not much.

Carly: No?

Lucas: Well, she's pretty quiet about everything that happened in high school; about how she had you and stuff. But, hey, that's all right.

Carly: Is she upset that John's in town?

Lucas: No, no, not that I know of. I mean, she's just worried about you, Carly. She doesn't want you caught in the middle between your dad the federal prosecutor and Sonny, whose business we don't talk about.

Carly: Yeah.

Lucas: Right.

Carly: Right. You know what, actually, it's been a little difficult lately.

Lucas: So do you like the guy?

Carly: Yeah. Actually, I do. But it doesn't matter because it's not safe for me to be close to John.

Lucas: Well, so you're just going to forget about him?

Carly: Oh, Lucas, I don't know. Forgetting doesn't really seem to be an option, you know? Distance does, and I just think it's better off for all of us if I back away.

Courtney: Hey.

Carly: Hey.

Courtney: I came as soon as you called. Where's Diego?

Carly: He left.

Courtney: Well, is he ok?

Lucas: He's fine. Just a little mad.

Carly: Yeah, Sonny and I walked in and Diego and Lucas were about to pulverize each other.

Courtney: Well, Diegoís supposed to be with Lois at L&B, so --

Lucas: Oh, well, Lois decided to send Diego on a date with Brook and I. We came here afterwards and he started acting like a jerk --

Carly: Ok, you know what, Lucas, it's cool. Don't worry. I'll take care of it from here. It's cool.

Lucas: All right. Thanks sis.

Carly: Go home.

Lucas: Going.

Courtney: Look, I know -- I know that Lucas and Diego don't get along.

Carly: Yeah. Obviously, he was way out of line. But I would've made some kind of an allowance if Iíd known he was staying with you.

Courtney: I know. Look, Carly, I was going to call you and fill you in. I just -- you've just had so much going on, you know?

Carly: Do you want to go look for Diego? I can help you.

Courtney: No, no, no, we should let him cool down. Seriously, I mean, the kid, he's -- he's just mad at the world right now.

Carly: Hmm. Yeah, well, I can relate.

Courtney: Wait, are you having problems with your father?

Carly: There's not going to be any relationship with my father.

Steven: I have no idea how John feels about Carly. But I have worked with the man long enough to know when John wants something, he doesn't let anything stand in his way.

Jason: You know, it would just be a lot easier if you answer me. Are you working with Durant to get evidence against Sonny?

Steven: I'll do my job, just like you would, because John has opened up a lot of doors for me. And I don't always agree with his tactics, but I will always follow through with my assignments. And I imagine that you would do the same.

Jason: That's right.

Steven: Carly trusts you. She talks about you a lot. So I -- let's just make sure she doesn't get hurt.

Diego: Ok. Move real slow. Give me your gun. Whoa! Ugh!

Georgie: Hey!

Dillon: Hey!

Dillon: How you doing?

Georgie: I'm fine.

Dillon: Um -- I'm sorry. I'm so sorry about all this.

Georgie: Dillon, this -- this was my idea.

Dillon: Yeah --

Georgie: It's ok.

Dillon: I know it was your idea, and you pulled it off really well. Really, really well, like too well, like I thought your dad was going to drop you off at a convent on the way home.

Georgie: Close, close. Um --

Dillon: What?

Georgie: He threatened to send me to boarding school.

Dillon: Oh. That's funny, yeah, because after all these months of battling with my mom, we're back where we started. This is -- this is great. No, this is the worst! This is the worst thing that could ever --

Georgie: Dillon, no! Dillon, it's the best! We just helped two people hide from the police.

Dillon: And you really think that's a good thing?

Georgie: Well, Skyeís innocent, right?

Dillon: Well, yeah. But do you think it's worth it? I mean, Mac just went postal.

Georgie: Dillon, I have it under control.

Dillon: Uh, your dad wanted to throw me in jail.

Georgie: Dillon, he thought we were having sex. I thought he was relatively calm.

Dillon: Hmm. Um, Skye says that when she's exonerated, she's going to explain the whole thing to Mac.

Georgie: Bonus.

Dillon: Yeah.

Georgie: Wait a minute, does that mean that we're going to help Luke prove Skyeís innocent?

Dillon: Well, I mean, I am just because I want your dad to know that I had good intentions.

Georgie: You don't think I can handle helping Luke?

Dillon: No, no. Believe me, after tonight, I think you can handle anything. But you're already in a lot of trouble, and I don't want you getting into any more. Ok?

Georgie: We want to be together, right?

Dillon: Yeah, of course.

Georgie: Well, don't you think we should fight for that, even if it gets a little risky along the way? What?

Dillon: Nothing, you just -- you just keep on surprising me, all right?

Georgie: Really?

Dillon: Yeah.

Luke: Whew!

[Music plays]

Skye: Ah. I raided your closet. Hope you don't mind.

Luke: You can rummage through my drawers anytime.

Skye: Oh, it felt so good to get clean. I scrubbed every inch -- twice.

Luke: Oh, I would've been happy to help you with that.

Skye: I managed.

Luke: With spectacular results.

Skye: Oh, Luke, being here makes me miss the place, you know? I want our old life back -- running the Haunted Star, being able to go out in public.

Luke: Hmm, the little things.

Skye: So have you come up with a plan to explain who's ever trying to wreck our lives?

Luke: I think I know exactly how to bring them out into the open.

Steven: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hey, hey, hey! What the hell happened here?

Diego: Ugh!

Steven: Hey, hey!

[Siren]

Diego: I think it's broke.

Steven: Hey, it's ok, I'm a doctor. Come here. Whoa!

Diego: Forget it, man!

Steven: Do you want to tell me what happened here?

Jason: Tried to mug the wrong guy.

Steven: Bad move.

Diego: Yeah, no kidding.

Steven: Come here. Wiggle your fingers. Ok, now bend at the elbow.

Diego: Look, I'm fine. It's getting better.

Steven: Ok, I think you'll live. You going to press charges against this kid?

Diego: Yeah, try it. I'm a close friend of Sonny Corinthos.

Jason: That's a dangerous thing to lie about.

Diego: Who says I was lying? Sonny and I were talking maybe 20 minutes ago.

Steven: Oh, when you were talking, did you tell him that you going to mug his business partner?

Diego: Him?

Steven: You should be careful who you attack in a park. This is Jason Morgan.

Diego: Like Corinthos-Morgan? You're Sonny's right-hand man. But I wasn't lying. I really was just with the guy. Got into a fight with his brother-in-law Lucas.

Jason: All right, you know, just stop talking.

Diego: Ok, but look, please don't bring the cops into this. I just got this really cool foster mom. Call her. She'll come pick me up. Her name is Courtney Matthews.

Carly: You know, I was really happy when John told me that he wanted to be a part of my life.

Courtney: What about his job?

Carly: Oh, it's in the way, and it always will be. Listen, I love Sonny. I chose to be with him. I told John I -- I couldn't see him anymore.

Courtney: I know how hard this is on you.

Carly: You know, you just can't help missing what might have been.

Brook Lynn: I am so tired of being the only adult in this relationship.

Lois: That is enough, ok? You need to apologize to Mr. Alcazar.

Brook Lynn: Oh, yeah, right! I'd rather wear leg warmers.

Lois: Keep it up. I'll suggest that to Simon.

Brook Lynn: Yeah?

Lorenzo: It's ok, Lois.

Brook Lynn: What, is it, like, your life mission to be a hypocrite, huh? You made me drag Diego around town while I was on a date with an amazing guy -- yeah, Lucas -- and for what, ma, so you could come be with him?

Lois: You need to apologize now.

Brook Lynn: He's a gangster, all right? How many times did you warn me about guys like him in Bensonhurst? Are you seriously trying to ruin both of our lives?

Lois: You don't have a life anymore.

Brook Lynn: Really?

Lois: You are grounded -- school, work, don't even think about dating.

[Brook Lynn scoffs]

Brook Lynn: Whatever.

Lois: I'm so sorry.

Lorenzo: No, don't be. I don't want to come between you and your daughter.

John: So did you give my daughter money to buy this place?

Sonny: I don't know if that's any of your business, Durant.

John: I'm just curious. You seem to be a very generous husband, not that you can't afford to be. Business is booming.

Sonny: Oh, yeah, yeah, coffee importing -- it's just incredible.

John: Coffee, right, yeah. Well, you know, the people who aren't so law-abiding -- Lorenzo Alcazar -- his brother died, he took over the family business. I'm going to bust him.

Sonny: Yeah, that's a beautiful story, but I don't buy it.

John: You know, I don't really care what you think. You may be able to pressure my daughter to stay away from me, but my job gives me reasons to stay very close to Carly.

 [Music plays]

Skye: Ok. The messaging program is up and lucky number 7's online.

Luke: All right, send her something. Maybe she doesn't know Iím the one that broke you out.

Skye: You really think she's going to write back?

Luke: Well, she tried to set you up to be caught once. She might try it again.

Skye: Ok. Here goes nothing.

Luke: No bite?

Skye: Well, just because she says she's on the computer doesn't mean she's just standing by it all day. I mean, even if it is a she. Luke, maybe we jumped to the wrong conclusions about this person.

Luke: I know I heard the guards at the nut house talking about some woman. The real killer set you up. Laura's missing. The only conclusion I draw is that this wacko is targeting the women close to me.

Skye: Well, she's not writing back. Maybe she's onto us.

Luke: So we'll try again later.

Skye: Yeah.

Luke: Hey, don't be discouraged. Come on. This is fun. We're playing catch-the-psycho. I'm good at that. I have inside information. We'll win.

Skye: Having you back, Luke, it really gives me hope.

Luke: You're not turning soft on me, are you?

Skye: So what if I am? I missed you. And, hey, I spent months in jail. I think I have a right to go soft every once in a while, don't I?

Luke: I think we all have that right now and then.

 [Door opens]

Courtney: Hey, I just ran into Carly.

Diego: Look, before you say anything else, there's something you should know. I made a mistake -- a tiny one. Ok, it was huge.

Courtney: Let's hear it.

Diego: I was walking through the park after getting into it with Lucas, and I got this idea.

Jason: Get to the point.

Diego: Ok, I ran into your ex and I saw that he had a gun and I tried to take it from him.

Courtney: What?

Diego: I held him up with a stick.

Courtney: What, are you -- are you out of your mind? What do you need a gun for, anyway, Diego?

Diego: I don't know! It's like I told you, sometimes I do stuff without thinking, ok?

Courtney: You could've been killed!

Jason: No, not really.

Courtney: Yeah, because you saw that he was just a kid and you chose not to shoot, but what if he -- what if he tried to mug Alcazar? God, you know, I can't believe this.

Diego: Look, it's like -- it's like Ms. Powell says, ok, I have too much time on my hands. I lack focus and goals, but it's ok because now I know what I want and I know how to get it.

Courtney: What are you talking about?

Diego: I want to work for you. Give me a job.

Courtney: No way in hell.

Brook Lynn: Hey. Thanks for coming.

Lucas: Hey, yeah, you sounded bad on the phone. Did Diego do something to you? Because, Brook, if he --

Brook Lynn: No, look, it wasn't Diego, all right, it was my ma. She's -- you know, she's this complete hypocrite. She spends every day telling me "Don't hang out with gangster types who turn out to be thugs," right? You know, once a bad guy, always a bad guy?

Lucas: I'm not following.

Brook Lynn: She's dating a gangster, Lucas.

Lucas: Oh, you're talking about Alcazar.

Brook Lynn: Yeah, she's down at The Cellar with him having drinks right now, and I have to stop them.

Lucas: All right, Brook, I know you tried this once before, but I really don't think going on strike is the best idea. You love to sing, so --

Brook Lynn: I know. No, no. Look, I'm not getting -- no, my music career is good.

Lucas: Then what are you going to do?

Brook Lynn: I'm just going to make her think that Iím dating a bad guy of my own. Do you know where Courtney Matthews lives?

Lucas: Courtney?

Brook Lynn: Yeah, Courtney.

Lucas: Wait a minute; you're going to make her think you're interested in Diego?

Brook Lynn: I'm going to teach them a lesson that they will never forget.

Lois: Thanks for your concern, but Brook Lynn does not get a say in my social life. I can see whoever I want, whenever I want, and if I don't, it's going to set a bad precedent and she'll run right over me.

Lorenzo: So we're seeing each other now?

Lois: That's not what I said. That's what she thinks.

Lorenzo: So you're just spending time with me to prove a point to your daughter?

Lois: At this point, I don't have a choice.

Lorenzo: You know, Brook Lynn has a right to be concerned about you.

Lois: I agree. Concern is a good thing. But ultimatums, tantrums, being outright rude are not. No, she needs to understand that Iím the one that sets the limits, not her. And I'm sorry to say, but you're stuck in the middle.

Lorenzo: I don't mind. Gives me a chance to spend time with you.

Sonny: Hey, let's go. I don't want you to have to deal with Durant.

Carly: What were you guys talking about?

Sonny: Uh -- Durant wants to stay in town. I know it's not going to be easy for you, but you need to really keep your word. Your father needs to be out of our lives.

Lana: John Durant. I'm a big fan, and a reporter who wants to get to know the man behind the image.

John: Wow. Somebody made a very similar pitch recently.

Lana: Hmm. Did it work?

John: Let's just say that she's taken on a much bigger role in my life.

Carly: What do you think she wants with him?

Sonny: It's pretty obvious, isn't it?

John: So, you -- you want to know more about me, huh?

Lana: Oh, I want to know it all.

John: In that case, let me buy you a drink.

[Music plays]

Skye: All this time, even after the trial and even after I saw that phony letter, something in me just knew -- just knew that you'd come back and bail me out.

Luke: You didn't need me.

Skye: I haven't been able to count on too many people.

Luke: I don't usually say this. You can count on me.

Dillon: Ok, I'm back and I am -- loaded.

Skye: Um -- I think I'll turn in. See you in the morning.

Luke: Good night, Blaze.

Dillon: Good night.

Luke: We got to talk about your timing, son.

Dillon: Yeah, ok. Considering what happened earlier, I should say the same to you.

Luke: Oh, I may forgive you.

Dillon: Yeah, I sold a few things at the park.

Luke: What things? What park?

Dillon: A C.D., boom box. I just hope it's enough to keep you guys safe until you prove she's innocent.

Luke: Dillon, this could be the start of a beautiful relationship.

Courtney: Diego, this isn't a game, ok? What Sonny and Jason do is real and it can cost you a lot more than you realize.

Diego: Look, Courtneyís cool, but she doesn't get it. I'll prove myself. Give me a chance.

Courtney: Your chance is here with me, ok? You are going to stay in school so you can have a chance at a decent future!

Diego: Who wants to be decent when you can be rich and powerful?

Jason: Hey, listen, there's no job. You listen to Courtney, and you better be good to her.

Courtney: Jason? Look, thank you for bringing him back.

Jason: Yeah, just good luck with him. I think you're going to need it.

Diego: I get it now. That's why you won't go all the way with Jax, because you're still into your ex.

Sonny: Want to leave?

Carly: I'm sorry, Iím sorry; I just can't stop staring at them. A month ago, I didn't even know about my father, Iíd never met him, and now Iím watching him get picked up on by a woman who's young enough to be --

Sonny: His daughter?

[Carly sighs]

John: It's a challenging job, but at least Iím serving my fellow citizens.

Lana: Doing the world some good.

John: Oh, I wouldn't go that far.

Lana: You're too humble. You're not at all like your public image.

John: Which is what, arrogant, hmm?

Lana: Intimidating, unapproachable. And yet here I am, so very close. I feel like I know you better already.

John: Let's go somewhere private.

Lana: Hmm.

Carly: I should just -- I should let that go, right? I should just let it go.

Sonny: Well, you know what, there's nothing you can do about it. I mean, guys like that --

Carly: I know, you're right, you're right, you're right. I know, I know. It's just that I can't get over the fact that my father just got picked up by a woman in my club. But, you know, it's cool, it's fine. He's out of my life, right?

Lois: Thanks for the coffee.

Lorenzo: Thanks for meeting me tonight.

Lois: Mm-hmm. You'd think I'd have more sense.

Lorenzo: Evidently, you donít.

Lois: Oh, so you agree with Brook, huh? You think I'm crazy for spending time with you?

Lorenzo: I wouldn't say you're crazy. I would say that you are a constant surprise, and I'm glad you're spending time with me, for whatever reason.

John: We could do something else. We could grab another drink or -- got to have some fun doing something.

Lois: Mr. Durant seems to have found a companion for the evening.

Lorenzo: Yeah. Hopefully, she'll keep him too busy to give me any more trouble.

Carly: Do you think Durant is serious about staying in town?

Sonny: Absolutely.

Carly: Why, because he thinks Iím going to change my mind and I'm going to give in and see him?

Sonny: Durant claims that he's in town because he's going after Alcazar, but Iíll tell you something -- you are closer to the truth.

Carly: Well, listen, Sonny, you know, I agreed not to see him.

Sonny: Right.

Carly: But no matter what, he's still my father.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Nikolas: This is the Garden of Aphrodite.

Emily: Do you really believe this is going to work?

Sonny: Kids get sick all the time.

Alexis: So has Morgan been sick a lot?

Lorenzo: He'll be at the press conference. You'll take care of Durant there.

John: Carly is refusing to see me.

Carly: You're afraid that Iím going to sneak off and see him in secret?
