Heather: I told you my plan would work. The police are more convinced than ever that Skye killed Detective Duncan, and of course Lukeís letter proves it. Not that it was easy to get him to write the thing, but drugs can be very persuasive. All I had to do was pop it in the mailbox. It was almost too easy. And with Skye back in prison, Luke is free to come back to us once and for all, just as soon as I'm ready. And then Iíll take care of him, just the way you would if you weren't so very ill. Don't worry -- you'll be safe here while I make all the arrangements. And in the end, Luke will be very happy.

Edward: Luke Spencer is going to destroy us all. How can Skye defend this lawless reprobate? Doesn't she realize the kind of man he really is?

Alan: Skye isn't exactly the first woman to be led astray by Luke.

Edward: And for what? He's always going to love Laura, no matter where she is, what she's doing. She's wasting her time.

Tracy: Isn't she supposed to be doing time?

Edward: Because of Luke Spencer. He probably killed the detective, framed Skye, and wrote the letter that got her convicted of murder.

Grace: I'm sorry, Courtney, I have another appointment.

Jax: Look, think about what you're getting yourself into.

Courtney: It's up to Diego.

Jax: You don't want to keep him out of guilt.

Diego: I want to stay.

Courtney: Well, then you're staying.

Grace: We appreciate everything you're doing for the youth of Port Charles. Be good, Diego.

Diego: Of course.

[Grace chuckles]

Diego: Good night, Ms. Powell.

Grace: Good night.

Courtney: Bye.

Grace: Bye.

Courtney: Well -- ahem -- I don't know about you guys, but I am starving.

Jax: So that's it, huh? End of conversation, you don't want to talk about it?

Diego: You lost, ok? Give it up.

Courtney: Hey.

Jax: You sure about this?

Courtney: I have to do what I think is right.

Jax: Ok. Well, I've said my piece. I'm not going to tell you what to do. I think you're in over your head. Don't make her regret this, ok?

[Door opens and closes]

Diego: So, when's dinner?

Jason: Sonny, I have watched Carly do this over and over and over again -- getting her hopes up, chasing after something she thinks she needs but she can't have, messing up the good parts of her life trying to get something better.

Sonny: I understand that --

Jason: Ok and I'm sorry, ok? I mean it. If -- I cannot be the one who does the job. As much as I hate Durant, as much as I hate what he's doing to Carly, I could never look her in the face if I knew that I killed her father.

Sonny: There -- there might be another way, Jason, to stop Durant.

Lorenzo: Who are you watching so intently?

Jason: The longer Durantís around, the worse it's going to be for Carly.

Sonny: I know that.

Jason: I mean, do you really think he's going to fall for this test, Sonny?

Sonny: Normally, not a chance, but he wants a headline; he's looking for the next big score, and that could get him sloppy.

Jason: All right, ok, just say he doesn't raid the shipment, ok, for whatever reason.

Sonny: Right.

Jason: So, now Carlyís going to think Durant passed the test, and she thinks it proves that she can now trust him.

Sonny: Unless I can prove that Durant is working with Alcazar.

[Knock on door]

Max: Lois Cerullo.

Sonny: Thank you, Max.

Lois: What's with you two? You look like somebody just died. Oh -- poor choice of words. Disregard.

Jason: I'll be in touch.

Lois: Nice chatting with you, as usual, Jason.

Sonny: Can I get you something to drink? Coffee? Tea?

Lois: You could tell me why for the big emergency, Sonny.

Sonny: Oh, yeah, right. I'm just curious -- how tight are you with Alcazar these days?

Lorenzo: You're spying on your father? Why?

Carly: I'm watching, not spying.

Lorenzo: You're nothing like him, Carly.

Carly: You know, I barely know him, but I do know one thing. There's no way he asked you to work with him to go against Sonny.

John: Oh.

Carly: Hey.

John: I thought you'd be well on your way by now.

Carly: Uh, I got sidetracked, but -- this is Lorenzo Alcazar. Lorenzo, this is my father, John Durant.

Lorenzo: Haven't we met before?

John: Only by reputation.

Lorenzo: Hmm. I understand you're very ambitious. You use people to get what you want.

John: Oh, you know the press these days. Anything for a headline, right? Good evening. I'll call you.

Carly: Ok. That was very subtle.

Lorenzo: Carly, sometimes you refuse to see what's right in front of you.

Carly: Yeah, like I refused to see how dangerous you were to me? That you would lie to get anything that you wanted?

Lorenzo: I lied for you, not to hurt you.

Carly: You're a regular saint, aren't you?

Lorenzo: Carly, John Durant is different. You are a means to an end for that man.

Alan: Why on earth did Skye come back here after she escaped? Why didn't she just leave the country?

Edward: I'm sure Spencerís behind that, too. Breaking her heart isn't enough. He wants her rotting in jail.

Tracy: Excuse me -- didn't she get drunk and stab a cop? Doesn't the law frown on that? Or maybe it's just me.

Edward: I don't believe she ever killed anyone.

Alan: Neither do I.

Tracy: And why do you care? She isn't even a Quartermaine.

Alan: She's my daughter.

Tracy: Oh -- ha-ha-ha! Excuse me -- she claimed to be your daughter. She is really the daughter of Gretel Rae Cummings and some denizen of a trailer park. If you were a smart man, you would forget you ever knew her.

Alan: Tracy, I love her. She has a good heart, but I don't expect you to understand that.

Edward: Since you have no heart at all.

Tracy: Thank you, Daddy. I can always count on you for that extra little jab.

Alan: I consider Skye to be my daughter, and Iím not going to justify that to you or to anybody else. I'll be at the precinct.

Edward: Would you please tell Skye her grandfather loves her?

Ric: Ok, just so we're clear -- handwriting analysis has confirmed that this letter was written by Luke Spencer.

Steven: I'll run the D.N.A.; see if anyone else sealed the envelope or handled the paper, touched the stamp.

Ric: Anything at all that proves that he was coerced into writing it.

Steven: Yeah, great. I'll put a rush on it.

Ric: Thanks.

Skye: Was that Lukeís letter?

Ric: Yeah. Dr. Webber's going over it to get --

Jax: Get the hell away from her.

Heather: I'll be the next Mrs. Edward Quartermaine. Imagine that. I'll get through the honeymoon somehow, enjoy a brief marriage, and -- and poor Edward -- he'll fall victim to a tragic accident. He'll join his beloved Lila. I'll be a wealthy widow, and you and Luke and I -- we'll have enough money for a good life. Everybody wins. I'll be the answer to all of Lukeís dreams. That's what you want, isn't it? For Luke to be happy? He will be. I promise you. He won't want for anything or have a care in the world. Oh --

Alice: What are you doing up here?

Jax: What are you thinking, meeting with Lansing without an attorney?

Skye: I think he's trying to help me, Jax. Why else would he run that D.N.A. test on that letter and stall my return to prison?

Jax: For all we know, he's trying to undercut your appeal so when you do go back to prison, you stay there.

Skye: When did you get so suspicious?

Jax: When did you become so trusting? Look, the guy used Lukeís letter to send you to jail. And then when you escaped, Luke set you up so that Ric could find you.

Skye: No, Luke wouldn't do that.

Jax: Stop wasting your time. He's not going to show up, Skye.

Skye: Yes, he will, and soon.

Jax: What makes you think that?

Skye: Because I know, ok? I know in my heart.

Jax: In your heart? What happened to the cynical Skye that I used to know; the one that's always suspicious and looking out for number one?

Skye: Yeah, look where that got me. No, now I really believe that Luke is going to get me out of this.

Jax: Well, it's a dangerous time to start looking on the bright side.

Skye: Well, my timing's always been a little off.

Jax: Listen to me. You can't afford to follow your heart at the moment. That's how you got caught. You need to start fighting, get back to what you've always known, and don't trust anyone.

Heather: I was just returning that painting and a few other things.

Alice: That painting belongs to Mrs. Lila.

Heather: Well, she won't be needing it anymore.

Alice: You shouldn't be up here.

Heather: I have every right to be here. I'm Edwardís nurse and companion.

Alice: Some nurse. You tried to kill him.

Heather: I tried to help him win Lilaís estate, just like you wanted.

Alice: You'd better clear out of this house.

Heather: Hey! I'm afraid it isn't up to the servants to decide.

Tracy: Skye and Heather -- doesn't that sound like a bad watercolor, the kind that would hang in a trailer park?

Edward: Do you have a point?

Tracy: Skye and Heather are interlopers, wannabes -- a bad watercolor.

Edward: Why don't you call your friend Helena and go after them like you did Emily?

Tracy: Daddy, all I wanted to do was stop the wedding, and may I remind you, you were standing right beside me.

Edward: Not for one second did I ever think Helena would actually try to kill Emily.

Tracy: Why not? You've known her longer than I have. And by the way, Heather is just as dangerous as Helena.

Edward: Oh, that -- please! That's ridiculous!

Tracy: Heather Webber is as crazy as she's always --

Heather: Tracy. How lovely to see you.

Tracy: We're having a private conversation.

Heather: I won't be long. I just came to say goodbye.

Edward: You're leaving?

Heather: Later tonight, yes. I packed all my things.

Edward: You can leave right now.

Tracy: Bye-bye.

Edward: No, you, not Heather.

Tracy: Oh. You pathetic old fool.

Edward: You mind telling me what's going on, please?

Heather: Reality. It's finally sinking in. You're right -- we dishonored Lilaís memory. And I have no future here.

Edward: I told you, I changed my mind.

Heather: I changed my mind, too. I'm attracted to you. I care for you very much, and I was hoping you'd feel the same about me. But that's just a foolish woman's wishful thinking. I'm glad I could help you through the rough patch, and I'll always appreciate your kindness. Thank you.

Edward: Heather, don't leave. I need you.

Heather: As what? Your nurse? A foolish woman to string along to annoy your kids?

Edward: Just stay.

Heather: Why? What's the point? What do you want from me, Edward?

Sonny: All right, Lois -- understand something, all right? I don't want you around Alcazar.

Lois: I haven't cleared my boyfriends with you since Joey on the corner.

Sonny: Yeah, wasn't I right about him? Everything that went down --

Lois: I am not spying on Lorenzo for you, if that's where you're going with this. I'm not going to be involved with anything that isn't on the up and up.

Sonny: Ok, but this -- this is not business, this is -- look, I want you to help me to protect my wife.

Lois: Oh, then, no offense, Sonny, but you've come to the wrong place.

Jason: Can I sit?

Carly: It depends. Are you going to yell at me again?

Jason: I am going to try to, you know, explain.

Carly: That'd be great, Jason. Because regardless of what you think, I really hate going against you.

Jason: I don't know if you remember this, but, you know, one time you came to me for help.

Carly: What, as opposed to the other 50,000 times that I have?

Jason: Yeah, it was just this one particular time I was -- you know, I was still living over Jakeís, and you were in some kind of trouble and needed a place to stay, but you promised that you wouldn't come on to me because you were in love with Dr. Jones.

Carly: Oh, God, if this is a way to prove that I have made some really bad judgment calls in the past --

Jason: No, Carly, no. No, no, the thing is at the time, you believed it. I mean I was watching your face when you went on and on about -- about how he understood you, about how he made you happy. And you weren't lying. But at the same time it was like you knew it wasn't real, like you were telling -- you know, telling yourself a story about how you wanted things to be. And I saw you do it again when you married A.J. to get custody of Michael, to come back to me, so that we could be a family together. Come on, you had to know from the start that it wouldn't work, but you still tried. Just like you're trying now. And I know you want Durant to care about you, but you're just telling yourself a story, Carly.

Carly: He's my father. Oh, God, Jason. All right, what if -- what if -- what if our lives had turned out differently? You know? And you stayed away until Michael was grown, let's say, till he was my age, and then you came back. Wouldn't you want to see him? Wouldn't -- wouldn't you be glad if he wanted to see you? And even if people were telling him, "No, no, Michael, you stay away, Jason is dangerous" -- I mean, how would that make you feel?

Jason: If I knew -- if I knew I was going to hurt Michael, I'd never go near him. Carly --

Carly: You don't --

Jason: And if I can ever figure out that that was the case and someone who loved Michael came to me and explained that, I would leave. I tried to explain that to Durant. Sonny tried. He doesn't give a damn that he's hurting your feelings. He thinks it's progress. You know that photo album?

Carly: Yeah.

Jason: Ok, Durant intended to break your heart, to make you vulnerable, because that's his way in, Carly. A father doesn't do that to his kid. A federal prosecutor does that to break down a witness!

Carly: Jason, I so wish -- I so wish that you were not so determined to make me hate my father.

John: Hey, doc.

Steven: Hey, what do you got?

John: Well, my grandson is quite the budding artist, huh? Mr. Corinthos is expecting a shipment tonight, Pier 58.

Steven: You sure this is Sonny's handwriting?

John: Yeah. I sent it to the lab for analysis. It checks out. Thanks to my daughter, I'm about to make the first major strike on Sonny Corinthos.

Ric: Dr. Quartermaine, I am doing everything that I can to prove that Skye was framed.

Alan: You mean, after you went out of your way to put her in prison by selling the jury on that ridiculous letter of Lukeís that said she murdered the detective to frame Laura?

Ric: I was doing my job.

Alan: And now I'm supposed to believe that you've had a change of heart?

Ric: Well, at the moment, you don't have much choice.

Jax: If you'd just stayed at my place, you know, until we found out --

Skye: Ok, it's too late to worry about what I could've or should've done, Jax. If that D.N.A. evidence proves that Luke was forced to write that letter --

Jax: If. If.

Skye: Hey, Luke got me into this mess, ok? He will get me out.

Jax: Do you really believe just because somebody dazzles you, lights you up like a Christmas tree, and makes you believe in love again that they really, you know, care?

Skye: By the way, how's Courtney?

Courtney: Look, we need to set some guidelines.

Diego: Don't worry. From now on I'll be on my best behavior.

Courtney: Well, we need to clarify "best behavior." Why don't we start with what's not ok?

Diego: Everything Iíve done so far, right?

Courtney: Yeah, pretty much. Look, Diego, you know, you strolled into my loft like you owned it, you treated my kindness as come-ons, and then you did everything you could to provoke Jax. But I didn't throw you out. And then the next morning, you went out of your way to be rude and disrespectful to me at Kellyís, but I didn't throw you out. Then you go and steal money from Lucas --

Diego: To buy you flowers.

Courtney: You attacked Lucas, you lost the job I got for you, and then you tried to kiss me in front of Jax.

Diego: That kiss had nothing to do with Jax.

Courtney: Diego, look, I want to help you --

Diego: Look, I know I messed up. But as far as you and me, you know, getting together? That's real. You are so hot. Just the idea --

Courtney: No, you win! You win, ok? I surrender. Now get out.

Lois: As you well know, Sonny, protecting Carly has never been high on my list of priorities.

Sonny: Right.

Lois: And while, out of respect for you as a friend, I might actually consider the possibility of helping her --

Sonny: Ok.

Lois: The fact still remains that you actually know a great deal more about Lorenzo Alcazar than I do.

Sonny: Not necessarily.

Lois: What do you need to know? That he is still mourning his niece who was murdered, and he blames himself for not protecting her, the same way he blames himself for not saving his brother from Alexis?

Sonny: Oh, so what, you're sympathetic towards him now? Is that what's going on here? No, I'm just curious.

Lois: Lorenzo Alcazar has made some questionable, if not outright terrible, choices. But so have you.

Sonny: You just met him! How long have we known each other? We know each other forever! What are you talking about?

Lois: This is true.

Sonny: Ok. I just want you to -- look, I want to know if Alcazar and Durant are working together against me.

Lois: You're asking me to find out and then go behind Lorenzoís back and tell you?

Sonny: Yeah.

Lois: You want me to spy for you.

Sonny: Well, look -- Lois, Carly -- Durant is Carlyís father. She wants to believe that he loves her and -- but if he's using her to try to catch me, I need to know that. And Alcazar is involved in this somehow, and I just -- you know, I just want you to maybe find out what he knows.

Lois: I see, yeah. Ok, wait -- you expect me to lie to him, betray his confidence.

Sonny: Ok, Alcazar is a slime. He's probably only chasing after you so he can throw it in my face.

Lois: Excuse me, when did the world start revolving around Sonny Corinthos from across the street in Bensonhurst? Did I miss it?

Sonny: No, no, no, no, no, I'm just saying to you --

Lois: Has it ever occurred to you that maybe Lorenzo is interested in me because of me? Maybe he thinks I'm a worthwhile person with whom to spend his time?

Sonny: I just want your take on the situation, that's all.

Lois: You know something, it's the strangest thing, Sonny. But the more time passes, the colder your eyes get. It's like you're freezing up from the inside out. You're selling off pieces of your soul little by little, and if you're not careful there's going to be nothing left. Your whole life is going to be one big business proposition.

Sonny: And you think Alcazar is any different?

Lois: He's never asked me to spy on you, I can tell you that.

Sonny: He's after me!

Lois: Not to my knowledge.

Sonny: And he always has been, and Durantís using that. He wants to send me to prison, and Alcazar wants me out of the way so that he can come after my wife again. That's all --

Lois: Have you listened to yourself lately? You are actually trading on a lifelong friendship by trying to drag me into your business!

Sonny: Ok. If you don't want to -- if you don't want to do this, you don't have to. Say no. I don't want another --

Lois: What has happened to your manners, your principles? Maybe they evaporated when you married Carly. I don't know, but you know what? I still believe in honesty, so Iím not spying on Lorenzo for you. It offends me. It actually disappoints and embarrasses me that you would even suggest it.

Sonny: Look, that --

[Door slams]

Carly: I wish this wasn't so personal for you.

Jason: It is, because you and I are family. Maybe not by blood, but in every other way. And I will do anything to help you. I will do anything to protect you. Even if you hate me for it, Carly, Iím not going to let John Durant tear up your life. I'm not going to let him send Sonny to prison and destroy Michael and Morganís home.

Carly: I don't want that to happen, either, but what if John has no intentions of using me?

Jason: Do you honestly believe that he would walk away from the chance to take Sonny down?

Carly: I don't know. I don't know. That's what I'm trying to find out.

Jason: Ok, all I'm saying, if Durant cared about you, he would go back to New York City and leave you in peace. But that's not going to happen because he keeps telling you what you want to hear, Carly. I've seen you do this to other people. Why can't you recognize that Durant is using you?

Steven: You've brought down major crime families.

John: That's right.

Steven: You've convicted men who were supposed to be untouchable.

John: None like Corinthos.

Steven: None of them were married to your daughter. John, is one more bust -- is one more headline -- worth throwing Carly away?

Courtney: Why are you still standing here? Get your duffel bag and let's go. We'll meet your social worker downtown.

Diego: Grace can't find me a bed this late.

Courtney: Well, you know what? Then maybe there's an opening in a runaway shelter. If not, you can sleep in her office. Come on, hurry up. I don't --

Diego: I don't want to leave!

Courtney: Yeah, sure you do, Diego. Come on, let's go.

Skye: You walked out on Courtney because she took in a foster child?

Jax: No, no, no. Diego -- he's just one more excuse, you know, to keep me at arm's length.

Courtney: What's the problem, Diego? I mean, you tried so hard to get tossed out of here, you succeeded, ok? So why are you stalling?

Diego: I'll stop acting like a jerk, I promise.

Courtney: You can do whatever you want. Just do it somewhere else.

Diego: I'll really try. Is that good enough for you?

Jax: Look, Diego is just one more excuse not to be with me.

Skye: Ok, so that's why she's helping this kid. I mean, that's why she set up this whole foundation, just to keep herself away from Jasper Jacks.

Jax: Well, if it wasn't for him, then she'd be coming up with some other kind of barrier. Ok, you know, I don't know! Why are we talking about this? Can we just get back to the subject at hand?

Courtney: If I decide to let you stay, Diego -- and that is a big "if" -- here are the rules. Ok, there are no come-ons. I don't care if you're even just kidding around, all right? There are no sexual jokes, there is no physical contact for any reason. All right, no stealing, no fighting, no hostile behavior, and no attitude.

Diego: Ok, ok. I'll apologize to Jax, too.

Courtney: Jax isn't even an issue anymore.

Diego: Oh, he'll come back with that stupid lawn chair, don't worry.

Courtney: No, no, he won't, not this time.

Diego: Then he's even dumber than he looks. Sorry. That was rude.

Courtney: Your opinion of Jax is beside the point. But just so you know, Jax is a really wonderful guy.

Diego: And you let him walk out because of me?

Courtney: No, I let him walk out because nobody runs my life except for me. Not my father, not my brother, and certainly not Jax.

Skye: Ok, so let me get this straight.  I'm not allowed to trust anyone or follow my heart, but Courtney is?

Jax: This is a completely different situation.

Skye: Is it? Underneath all that charm, you are extremely careful with your heart, Jax. So, maybe Courtney is, too.

Jax: Oh, but I'm ready to change.

Skye: And Courtney isn't, so just give her some room. I mean, why is she required to fall in love on your timetable?

Jax: You know, you really shouldn't be worried about my love life right now.

Skye: In other words, I hit a nerve and you just want to change the subject.

Jax: Absolutely. Thanks very much.

Skye: Anytime, anytime. I could be out of here in a couple of days anyway.

Jax: Well, it's a long shot.

Skye: Well, it could happen. If that D.N.A. test turns up new evidence and they're able to identify who the killer is and who framed me, they might even be able to arrest them.

Edward: I treasure your company. I rely on you.

Heather: And you're ashamed of being attracted to me.

Edward: No, I'm not. Not anymore.

Heather: Edward, I can't allow myself to be used, no matter how fond I am of you. I need a home, security, a man who's proud to share his life with me.

Edward: Heather, this -- this may be too soon --

Alan: I've got some great news about Skye!

Edward: Huh?

Alan: Ric is running a D.N.A. test on Lukeís letter to see if someone else handled it.

Edward: It'll be proof that Skye was framed.

Alan: If the D.N.A. on the letter matches some known felon, she could be exonerated as soon as tonight.

Edward: Oh, excellent! Ha!

Tracy: Heather, are you still here?

Heather: I was just leaving.

Edward: No, I was going to ask you a question.

Heather: Skye is a family matter. I'm not family.

Tracy: Oh, you got that right.

Steven: Carly will be heartbroken if you use this as evidence against her husband. She'll close the door on you for good. Is that what you want?

John: You're right. I need to wait, give Carly time to really trust me and -- why settle for a minor bust when my daughter can give me information to break Sonny's entire organization and put him away for life?

Steven: Is that all Carly is to you? A means to an end? Don't you love your daughter at all?

Carly: Hey. Well, John took the bait. He picked up the shipping notes.

Sonny: Did he make any calls?

Carly: One. But it doesn't prove anything, right? It could've been to anyone. It doesn't mean that he necessarily called the police to raid the shipment.

Sonny: So, if -- if he made a call, will you agree not to see him again?

Carly: Of course. But, Sonny, if the opposite happens and he does pass the test, will you agree that it's ok for me to see him?

Heather: Steven! I'm so glad to see you. Would you consider having dinner with your long-lost mother?

Steven: I got to work.

Heather: Yeah, but don't you know that family is more important than work?

Steven: Not tonight.

Heather: Where are you going?

Steven: I just told you that Iím busy, so Iíll call you.

Heather: But that silly little envelope -- are you telling me that it means more to you than your own mother?

Steven: What are you talking about? No, no, no, that's police evidence.

Heather: Don't you see what this does to me?

Steven: Give me that, give me that.

Heather: No, it's not!

Steven: Give me that, give me that!

Heather: It's a letter.

Steven: It's police evidence!

Heather: This is what you do to me every time you reject me.

Steven: You just tainted crucial police evidence.

Heather: I'm sorry.

Steven: Get out! Get out!

Heather: Why are you always so angry with me?

Sonny: Well, let's not get carried away.

Carly: Well, has anyone called to report a raid?

Sonny: Not yet. I'm going to find out what's going on here.

Jason: Carly, you're just going to do this to yourself no matter what I say, huh?

Carly: What if you happen to be wrong?

Sonny: All right. Nothing's happened on the pier.

Carly: So John passed the test.

Jason: No, he saw right through the test. He didn't pass it. He saw right through it.

Carly: Jason, why can't you let me just have this? Why can't you be happy for me for once?

Sonny: I was afraid that was going to happen. Durant passed the test, now she -- you know, she's convinced she can trust him.

Lorenzo: I don't appreciate being summoned.

John: I want you to move on Sonny Corinthos tonight.

Lois: John Durant? The John Durant?

John: That's right.

Lois: The newspapers don't do you justice at all. Lois Cerullo, from Bensonhurst.

John: Oh. Delighted to meet you, Ms. Cerullo from Bensonhurst.

Lois: Am I interrupting?

Lorenzo: Not really.

John: Just issuing a warning that's destined to go ignored. Enjoy Mr. Alcazar while you can, Ms. Cerullo. He's living on borrowed time.

Lois: Does John Durant have something on you?

Courtney: Thanks.

[Knock on door]

Diego: Should I get that?

Courtney: Yeah, go ahead.

Diego: Courtney's here. Excuse me.

Courtney: Well, as you can see, Diego is still here.

Jax: Yeah, you know, I was just -- I was hoping that we could just agree to disagree on that and move on.

Courtney: That works for me.

Jax: Ok.

Courtney: And for what it's worth, I do appreciate your concern, even if I didn't particularly like the way you showed it.

Jax: Well, now that we have that out of the way, are you available for dinner tomorrow night?

Courtney: Possibly, as long as I can get Diego supervised.

Jax: Oh, don't worry about that. I got big plans for Diego.

Tracy: Daddy, you can't be serious about Heather.

Alan: She's insane!

Edward: That was a long time ago.

Tracy: She's a snake!

Edward: You are in no position to criticize anybody!

Alan: Listen to me, father. Falling in love with someone after a spouse's death is not that uncommon. I've seen it happen with my own patients. It almost never works out. Let us seek grief counseling -- I mean, as a family.

Tracy: Ha-ha! Some therapist is just about to hit the jackpot.

Heather: I think grief counseling is a wonderful idea.

Tracy: And I thought you were leaving.

Heather: Breaks my heart to see you at odds with your children. All the more reason for me to go.

Alan: I'll show you to the door.

Heather: Take care of yourself, Edward.

Edward: Heather, wait.

Heather: I've enjoyed spending time together.

Tracy: Oh, for Peteís sake!

Edward: I want you to stay.

Tracy: No, you don't!

Edward: As my wife.

Tracy and Alan: As your what?

Edward: Will you?

Heather: Will I what?

Edward: Will you marry me?

Ric: I've set you up in a cell for tonight. We're going to wait to get the D.N.A. test results, and we'll go from there.

Skye: Well, you've been surprisingly decent this time around.

Ric: Well, it's my job to prosecute cases, not keep innocent people in prison. If the new evidence exonerates you, I will be happy to let you go free.

[Knock on door]

Skye: What did you find?

Steven: I'm sorry, but my mother grabbed the letter and crumpled it up.

Ric: She tainted the evidence?

Steven: Yeah. Her D.N.A. is all over the letter along with Lukeís.

Skye: No one else's?

Steven: If there was any other evidence, it's been destroyed. I apologize.

Ric: I should've sent a uniform to keep track of the evidence.

[Ric sighs]

Skye: That letter was my -- my last hope, wasn't it?

Ric: You're going to have to go back to Pentonville. I'm sorry.

Carly: Mama, the plan worked.

Bobbie: Well, I hope that's a good sign.

Carly: Well, it was Sonny's idea -- the plan. You know the drawings that we were looking at earlier? Well, Sonny made sure that there was some fake shipping information on the back of one of them so John could've picked up on it and he could call the police to make a bust. Nothing happened. Mama, it looks like he -- he has no interest in going after Sonny and that he wants to know me.

Lorenzo: John Durant is just one more federal prosecutor.

Lois: With the unfortunate distinction of being Carlyís father.

Lorenzo: That's beside the point.

Lois: All of this is old news to you, isn't it?

Lorenzo: I've been through it before, Lois.

Lois: It still doesn't make it right. Why would John Durant go to special efforts to issue warnings to you?

[Phone rings]

Lorenzo: Yes?

John: As I said, before your friend interrupted, you'll go after Sonny tonight.

Lorenzo: The project will move on my timetable, not yours.

John: If that's what you think, my friend, you are sadly mistaken.

Sonny: I want Durant to move on a shipment. That way, you know, this whole thing would be over. Carly's heart would be broken, but at least she'd know her father's dangerous. Now I got to find another way to prove it to her.

Jason: Yeah, but the longer we wait, the more power Durant has.

Sonny: I don't want to eliminate her father, Jason. I'll find any other way to solve this. If he comes after you or my family, I will kill John Durant.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Edward: Heather has agreed to become my wife.

Skye: Why do you even care if Iím with Luke?

Helena: You're going to die.

Nikolas: She's getting sicker by the hour.

Sonny: East warehouse just blew up.

Carly: Lorenzo blew up the warehouse.

Lorenzo: Corinthos will think I did this.

John: I certainly hope so.
