Skye: Hey, thanks for getting my clothes from the Quartermaines'.

Jax: Is there anything else you need while you have me your beck and call?

Skye: Yes. Help me find Luke.

Jax: Skye, Luke could be anywhere in the world right now. I think tracking him down is just a big waste of time and energy.

Skye: Jax, Iím a wanted fugitive, ok?

Jax: I know. That's exactly why you need to think realistically, ok? Luke Spencerís not going to come riding to your rescue. It's up to us to clear your name, and hopefully we can do that before I lose Courtney for good.

[Knock on door]

Courtney: Hi.

Lois: I was hoping you wouldn't be here.

Courtney: But you stopped by anyway?

Lois: To encourage you to go find Jax and clear things up with him.

Courtney: He called.

Lois: Did you explain to him that you'd be open to hearing his explanation as to why a woman was in his apartment?

Courtney: No, I -- when I picked up the phone, he'd already hung up.

Lois: What took you so long?

Courtney: Look, I just -- I don't know if I'm ready to talk to Jax yet, ok?

Man: Courtney Matthews?

Courtney: Yeah.

Man: These are from Jasper Jacks.

Lois: Wow! There's an icebreaker for you.

Courtney: Jax knows my favorite flower.

Lois: You got to love a guy who pays attention to that sort of thing.

Courtney: Look, could you just send those back? I really don't want them at all.

Lois: No, please convey Ms. Matthews' heartfelt thank-you. Tell Mr. Jasper Jacks that she'll be looking forward to hearing from him really soon. Oh, a little something for you. Thank you.

Man: Thanks.

Emily: Well, the storm's over. The sky is clear. The stars are so close; we can practically touch them, so who could possibly believe in a curse on a night like this?

Nikolas: Yeah, well, not all our problems are going to vanish as quickly as that storm.

Lorenzo: Maybe I can help.

Carly: Jason, tell Michael you don't like my father's job, not John himself.

Jason: Carly, Iím not going to do this here.

Carly: I don't want a scene. I just want you to help Michael by admitting that you made a mistake.

Sonny: What mistake?

Michael: He wants to put you in prison, Daddy. Right?

Jason: That's right.

Lois: These are gorgeous, aren't they?

Courtney: Would Jax send anything less?

Lois: Give the guy some credit. He didn't go get the standard dozen roses. He gave it some thought.

Courtney: Oh, Jax has all the right moves.

Lois: Courtney, he cares about you.

Courtney: I'm a challenge.

Lois: His feelings go deeper than that, and you know it.

[Knock on door]

Lois: Hey.

Man: Hi. Fresh-baked gingersnaps for Ms. Courtney Matthews from Mr. Jasper Jacks.

Lois: This is the best gourmet bakery in town. Ahem. Have a gingersnap. These your favorite, too?

Courtney: Hey -- ok, you're not getting this, Lois. I mean, my favorite cookie, my favorite flowers. It's all a ploy to get me into bed.

Lois: And that would be so bad?

Courtney: This isn't a game, Lois.

Lois: Courtney, you're attracted to the guy. He's attracted to you.

Courtney: Ok, look, I want something real. I can't just sleep with Jax for the fun of it the way that mystery woman in his apartment probably did.

Jax: You know, it took me months to get Courtney to trust me.

Skye: Yeah, and I ruined it in an instant by calling your name from the bedroom.

Jax: Well, she'll forgive me once she hears your situation.

Skye: Jax, she can't.

Jax: I'll swear her to secrecy.

Skye: Nobody can know that Iím here. Nobody can know that Iím here until I can clear my name, and the only way to do that is to find out who killed Detective Ross Duncan.

Jax: Ok, ok, let's throw some ideas around -- other than Luke.

Skye: Luke is our link to Laura, who is the obvious starting point. She could very well have sent that letter that implicated me.

Jax: No, no, no, Luke sent the letter.

Skye: Oh, I don't believe that, ok, not for a second. Now, Laura, she's another story. I mean, she went to such great lengths to frame me, why wouldn't she forge a letter from Luke accusing me of terrible crimes?

Jax: Then why hasn't Luke come forward to say that you're innocent? He just disappeared off the face of the earth.

Skye: Well, I can think of two possibilities, ok, the first being that Luke found Laura and realized that she did kill Detective Duncan and was stalking me, and he realized that she was in terrible condition and he's doing everything he can to protect and take care of her.

Jax: And possibility number two?

Skye: That some enemy of Lukeís is behind this, ok, and they are holding him against his will and they forced him to write that letter.

Jax: I take it you're leaning towards theory number two? That way, Luke is an innocent victim who chose to protect his ex-wife over you.

Skye: Well, either way, I have to find him.

Jax: Now I'm thoroughly convinced that tracking down Luke is a bad idea.

Skye: Jax --

Jax: But if you want to do this, then, oh, I'm willing to go along with it.

Skye: Really? Ok, where do we start?

Jax: Well, the first logical step is to figure out where Luke went after he dropped you at the roadside and disappeared.

Nikolas: Emily and I are both facing charges in connection with Maryís death. I doubt you could help us with that.

Lorenzo: No, but I may be able to improve your financial situation.

Nikolas: Oh, yeah? How's that?

Lorenzo: I'm looking to expand my shipping interests. Buying into Cassadine Industries would be advantageous.

Emily: And why should we trust you? I mean, you lied to Nikolas about who he was, and then you stayed friendly with Mary Bishop even after the truth came to light.

Lorenzo: I felt sorry for Mary Bishop, and I had no idea she was mentally ill. And I certainly did nothing to encourage her murderous rampage, which, as you know, resulted in the death of my niece.

Nikolas: What makes you think Iíll say yes to this?

Lorenzo: Well, you're in a weak financial position to begin with, which has only been worsened by the court battle over your estate when you were presumed dead and your erratic behavior once you resurfaced.

Nikolas: Look, if you're feeling charitable, there are worthier causes than the Cassadine finances.

Lorenzo: Nikolas, you're smart and resourceful. I'm sure that when you're free to do so that you will run Cassadine Industries to the best of your abilities. Now, from a business standpoint, an alliance with your firm -- that could be useful to both of us.

Nikolas: I'll need some time to consider it.

Lorenzo: I'll be in touch.

Emily: I don't trust that man.

Nikolas: Yeah, I'm not sure I do either.

Emily: Nikolas, please promise me that you won't even consider his offer. Alcazar is much more dangerous than Helenaís supposed curse.

Carly: Look, this is all very confusing for Michael.

Michael: No, it's not. Mr. Durant's a bad man.

Carly: Michael, sweetie, John is not going to hurt your dad. Sonny?

Sonny: Hmm?

Carly: Tell him.

Sonny: Yeah, listen, your daddy's not going to prison, ok?

Michael: But what if he arrests you?

Sonny: That's not going to happen, all right? You know what, Leticiaís with Morgan in the E.R., and how about you and Jason go visit? Would you like that?

Michael: Be careful, Daddy.

Sonny: Yeah, yeah, yeah, come on. "Be careful, Daddy."

Carly: Listen, I'm sorry. Jason had no right to put that in Michaelís head.

John: Hey, don't worry.

Sonny: Yeah, but what Jason told Michaelís the truth. I mean, your job is to put me behind bars, right?

John: My job is to prosecute criminals. Is that an admission of guilt?

Sonny: You see what he just said? That's why this can never work.

Ric: I don't know if Elizabeth has introduced the two of you, but --

Steven: No, but I've been hearing about you for years, Lucky Spencer.

Lucky: Steven Webber?

Steven: Yeah.

Lucky: Elizabeth's brother, the medical genius?

Steven: Well, I don't know if I would go that far, but --

Ric: Well, let's hope he is a genius for Nikolas' and Emilyís sake. Lucky's been suspended, but I want you to do everything you can to help his investigation.

Steven: Ok, that was cryptic.

Lucky: Yeah. You aware of Mary Bishop's murder case?

Steven: Yeah, I looked at the file. She suffered some kind of psychotic break, murdered two teenagers, and then tried to kill another woman.

Lucky: Yeah, Emily Quartermaine.

Steven: Elizabeth's best friend.

Lucky: Yeah.

Steven: Ok, so Nikolas Cassadine grabbed the commissioner's gun and shot Mary Bishop, then later in the hospital, she died of an overdose. According to an eyewitness -- a nurse, I believe -- Emily switched the medication.

Lucky: Yeah, but the nurse was paid to lie.

Steven: Well, she admitted that?

Lucky: Well, to me she did, but she was killed before she could retract her original statement.

Steven: Ok, are there any pills left from the dose that killed Mary Bishop?

Lucky: Yeah, there's one pill in the med cup. It's downstairs in the forensics lab.

Steven: It's a long shot, but there could be D.N.A. evidence that would point us to the real killer. I'll go over all the evidence, including the pill, and see if I can turn up anything new.

Lucky: Thanks.

Steven: I'll check this out.

Lois: Well, look who just washed up from Wyndemere. Is it a social visit?

Lorenzo: I had a business proposal for Nikolas.

Lois: Of the legal or illegal nature?

Lorenzo: Does it matter?

Lois: You flat-out admitted to me you're a gangster, so now that I know the truth, how can I sit back and watch you deceive other people?

Lorenzo: I keep my illegal business offshore, away from the legitimate enterprises.

Lois: Oh, yeah, that's a real clear line. Thanks for reassuring me.

Lorenzo: No problem.

Lois: Emily and Nikolas are good people. So if you're luring him into something illegal, it's only fair that I warn him.

Lorenzo: Hmm. Do you make it your business to warn Emily every time Jason does something illegal?

Lois: Oh, so you're admitting it's illegal?

Lorenzo: You're sidestepping my question.

Lois: I'm just trying to get it straight. Half your business is against the law, but since the other half isn't, it's all ok? Your conscience is clear?

Lorenzo: Works for me. You're going to have to decide if it works for you. Now, Iíve been honest. It's your turn. What do you want from me, Lois?

Jason: All right. You're just -- you're going to say good night to Morgan, and then Leticiaís going to take you home.

Michael: Where are you going?

Jason: Well, I'm staying here.

Michael: What about Durant? Are you going to tell Mommy to stay away from him?

Jason: Yeah, I already have, and I'm going to keep telling her.

Michael: But --

Jason: Michael, look, you just got to take care of yourself, ok? Look, I told you the truth about Durant. Don't forget.

Michael: I wonít.

[Door opens and closes]

Michael: Mommy found our grandfather. His name is John Durant. He's a bad man. He wants to put Daddy in prison. And Mommy's supposed to stay away from him, but she won't. But it's ok. I know how to make Mommy do it.

Bobbie: Jason? Is Carly in with Morgan?

Jason: No, she and Sonny are upstairs with Durant.

Bobbie: Oh. So, I guess you've heard the news?

Jason: Yeah. Have you known all along John Durant was Carlyís father?

Bobbie: I was pretty sure.

Jason: And you didn't even tell her?

Bobbie: Well, I thought about it numerous times, but when Carly married Sonny, I thought it would only cause her more pain to find out that her father was a federal prosecutor. But now I'm thinking that maybe I was wrong to hide the truth.

Jason: Well, why? What changed your mind?

Bobbie: Well, John. He came to see me and he spoke with me about his intentions.

Jason: When?

Bobbie: Does it matter?

Jason: Yeah. The timing will tell if he's being honest.

Sonny: I've been arrested three times for RICO violations, never been tried. And every time I was arrested, it was all about, you know, this prosecutor wanting to make a name for himself, you know, with a high-profile get. Isn't that what you're trying to do?

John: I'm trying to get to know my daughter.

Sonny: Well, you just met her a few weeks ago.

John: That's right. All of a sudden, after years of resigning myself to being childless, suddenly I find out I have a grown daughter.

Sonny: And a husband you want to put behind bars. You know what, fate has really -- I mean, it's handed you an opportunity of a lifetime, right?

John: Wait, wait.

Sonny: What?

John: Do I think you're a criminal? Absolutely. Do I plan on following up on my suspicions, conducting an investigation, securing an indictment? No.

[Sonny chuckles]

Sonny: Why, because it's a conflict of interests?

John: That's right.

Sonny: Right, right.

John: I'm not about to lose my daughter over one criminal, even if it happens to be you. I'll call you later.

Sonny: Do you honestly believe him?

Carly: I want to.

Nikolas: Look, if I decide to do business with Lorenzo Alcazar, I won't get involved in anything illegal.

Emily: How do you know you won't? He's a criminal, Nikolas. He must have hundreds of ways of hiding his money.

Nikolas: Do you trust me?

Emily: Of course I do, but --

Nikolas: Then don't worry, all right? I'm a businessman. I know how to protect my interests.

Emily: Why would you even consider this? Alcazar has lied to you so many times.

Nikolas: Because, well, for one thing, I need the money, and he's right, it could be advantageous to us both.

Emily: So find another partner, someone honest, like Jax or --

Nikolas: Jax? I have nothing to offer Jax, and Alcazar came to me. And besides, come on, we have a wedding to pay for, you know, a new life to start together. Come on.

Emily: Nikolas, I would rather live above Kellyís than have you risk your life like that.

Nikolas: All right, what's this really about, Emily?

Emily: What, I don't have a right to be concerned?

Nikolas: Am I supposed to be against Lorenzo Alcazar because Jason is? Is that it?

Emily: If you want to look at it that way, fine. I don't want you anywhere near Jasonís enemies. He's my brother, and I trust him.

Nikolas: Well, do you -- what about me? Do you trust me?

Emily: Why are we fighting about this?

Nikolas: I don't know. I don't know, but we shouldn't be. Look, I'm sorry, ok? Maybe it's -- I don't know, maybe it's just the stress of everything that's been happening around us. I'm sorry. All I know is that the only real thing in all of this is the love that we have for each other, ok? I'm sorry.

Emily: I can't wait to marry you, to walk down the aisle of that little church in the woods where we made our promises to each other and vow to spend the rest of our lives together.

[Knock on door]

Minister: I apologize for the interruption. I knocked at the front door, but there was no answer.

Nikolas: No, I'm glad you let yourself in. Are you here to discuss the wedding?

Minister: I have some unfortunate information. The church where you plan to be married has burned to the ground.

Skye: I already checked the Haunted Star's email account. No messages from Luke.

Jax: Do you have any idea where he might have headed after he disappeared?

Skye: Well, I assumed he was looking for Laura.

Jax: Do you remember a name or a place or anything at all?

Skye: Hey, what was the name of that place where Laura was being hospitalized? I mean, if he was going to look for Laura, wouldn't he retrace her steps? Why wouldn't he look for her there?

Jax: You visited her there, didn't you? You must remember something.

Skye: Yeah, St. -- St. Gabrielís.

Jax: St. Gabrielís.

Skye: In Montreal.

Jax: Well, let's see what comes up.

[Knock on door]

Ric: Mr. Jacks? It's D.A. Lansing.

Skye: Oh, my God.

Ric: Could you open the door, please?

Jax: Just a second! What can I do for you?

Ric: Well, it seems that your ex-wife has escaped from Pentonville prison. We have reason to believe that Skye might be hiding here.

 [Knock on door]

[Knock]

Courtney: Hold on. Look, if it's another delivery from Jasper Jacks, I don't want --

Leticia: Hi.

Courtney: Michael, Leticia --

Michael: Don't worry about Morgan. He's fine.

Courtney: What? What happened?

Leticia: Morgan spiked a fever and was taken to the E.R.

Courtney: Oh, my God. Is he ok?

Leticia: Yeah, he's responding to medication and he'll be fine. But Michael insisted that we come here and tell you, so now you know and we can leave now.

Michael: You go ahead. I'm not going home ever because I'm moving in with Aunt Courtney.

Bobbie: John came to see me at the hospital.

Jason: What was the date?

Bobbie: Um -- September 23. He said that Carly came to see him in New York without ever revealing the real reason for the visit. He did some investigating and he discovered that she was his daughter.

Jason: Did -- did he ask you to talk to Carly on his behalf? Look, Bobbie, you know how I feel about Carly. I will do anything to protect her and the kids, and that's what Iím trying to do, so if you could just please tell me exactly what John Durant said to you.

Bobbie: Ok. We talked a little bit about why I never told him that I was pregnant. He said that he and Carly both knew the truth and that they were both a little hesitant about connecting as father and daughter, and then, yes, actually, he did ask me to speak to her and convince her that he is sincere -- which I believe he really is.

Jason: What time was this?

Bobbie: Um -- about 10:00 P.M. Why, Jason? Does the time really matter?

Jason: It changes everything.

Carly: I am trying to keep an open mind here. Look, John Durant is my father, and so far, everything he's done has seemed honest and straightforward.

Sonny: Yeah, but you don't really know that, Carly.

Carly: Well, you don't know otherwise, Sonny. Come on, you said it was my decision.

Sonny: Yeah, it is. I just don't want to see you get burned. But if you're going to spend time with him, you want to spend with him --

Carly: How else am I supposed to know if this guy's for real or not? I mean, what if he genuinely wants a relationship with me? I mean, if I have a chance to have a real, caring father-daughter relationship and I pass it by, I am going to regret it for the rest of my life. God, you know, I don't -- how could Jason tell Michael that John wanted to send you to prison?

Sonny: Well, that's Durantís job.

Carly: People are more than their jobs.

Sonny: Durant doesn't have a life. His job is everything to him.

Carly: And what about you, Sonny? Seriously, look at your job. But you are still a very loving and caring and devoted father to your children.

Sonny: Yeah, right, well, children that I've raised, that Iíve held, that Iíve taken care of. I mean --

Carly: Yeah, well, what if you didn't know that you had a child out there?

Sonny: Ahem.

Carly: I mean, what if Sam hadn't told you she was pregnant, right, and then you found out later on, when your daughter was grown, that she existed? Would she deserve to be loved any less?

Sonny: Well, I might hate the person who kept that child from me, but I would always love my daughter.

Jax: Do you have a warrant?

Ric: Well, I can get one. But then you can prove my suspicion's completely unfounded by just letting me look around.

Jax: Sure, come on in.

Ric: Good. Thank you.

Jax: You know, Skye has three or four exes. Will you be contacting all of them?

Ric: Nope, just you.

Jax: Oh. Why did the spotlight of suspicion fall on me?

Ric: Well, you happen to live in the area of the prison, and I did witness your behavior at Skyeís trial. You seemed to be very concerned for her well-being and wanted to see her go free.

Jax: Well, I thought she was unfairly treated. I still do.

Ric: Bad enough to want to hide her?

Jax: I'd probably consider it -- if I didn't think that it would ruin my relationship with Courtney.

Carly: Sonny, it is not like Durant came looking for me with some sinister conspiracy in mind. He didn't even know I existed until -- I am the who contacted him. There just is this ironic, unfortunate circumstance that he happens to be a federal prosecutor.

Sonny: Durant has a reputation for being ruthless, Carly.

Carly: Yes, in his job. Jobs, they end. Families, they last a lifetime.

Sonny: He may not see it that way because he's never had a family to consider.

Carly: But he does now, right? And we don't know. I mean, I don't want to sacrifice a possible relationship that I could have with my father because of his business or because of yours.

[Phone rings]

Carly: Hello?

Courtney: Hey, it's me. Look, Michael asked Leticia to bring him over here. He's with me now.

Carly: Well, why is he there? Why did he stop by?

Courtney: To tell me about Morgan. God, I mean, Carly, you must have been terrified. I'm so glad he's ok.

Carly: Yeah, thanks. So are we. I will tell you all about it later. But you know what; you got to tell Michael he needs to go home. It's past his bedtime.

Courtney: Well, that's the problem, Carly. He's refusing to leave. Michael says he's on strike.

John: I want you to go down to the E.R. and check on Morgan. If he's well enough, I want to see him.

Steven: As a concerned grandparent or to make points with Carly?

John: Both.

Steven: You were worried about Morgan, though, right?

John: Just see if I can stop by.

Steven: Ok, ok, I'll go in a minute, but first I have to follow up with the PCPD on some tests I ran.

John: On what case?

Steven: Mary Bishop? There were some traces of D.N.A. left on a remaining pill.

John: Find a match?

Steven: Well, that's the thing. It doesn't quite add up. The closest D.N.A. match I could get for Mary Bishop's killer was a dead girl named Sage Alcazar.

Lois: You discovered my weakness -- caramel latte.

Lorenzo: Got you figured out pretty well.

Lois: One little compliment, it goes straight to your well-groomed head?

Lorenzo: You're an honest person. Something's on your mind, you express it.

Lois: So that makes me an open book, huh?

Lorenzo: On the one hand, you believe in following all the rules, treating people fairly. I doubt you've ever so much as even fudged an entry on your income tax return.

Lois: Who wants trouble with the I.R.S.?

Lorenzo: On the other hand, you like to take chances, to rebel, to lash out, to break all the rules. Hence your fascination with rock 'n' roll.

Lois: Hence my fascination with you.

Lorenzo: Well, you like that Iím dangerous, but it also appalls you. You want to walk away, but you can't do it.

Lois: Maybe I just haven't done it yet.

Lorenzo: Hmm. Well, the decision is yours. I'd like to keep seeing you, but I'm not going to lie about who I am or what I do.

Lois: No chance you could actually reform and become that law-abiding citizen you've been impersonating?

Lorenzo: Well, when Sage was alive, I considered it. I wanted to set a good example, give her something that was better to strive for in life.

Lois: You could still quit the business.

Lorenzo: I have no reason to anymore.

Lois: You never know.

Carly: Jason?

Jason: Morgan is sleeping.

Carly: Great. I need you to go please pick up Michael and bring him home.

Jason: What are you talking about? I sent him home with Leticia a half an hour ago.

Sonny: Yeah, Michael conned Leticia into taking him to Courtneyís.

Carly: Mm-hmm, and now he is refusing to go home unless I never see Durant again.

Jason: Good.

Carly: You have no right to inflict your paranoia on my son. Michael shouldn't think that his grandfather wants to arrest his father.

Jason: Yeah, I agree. That's why you need to stay away from Durant.

Carly: Oh, God, would you stop thinking the worst?

Jason: I talked to Bobbie. Durant asked her to speak to you on his behalf, but you had already rejected him -- a fact he didn't even bother to mention to Bobbie.

Carly: And what does that prove, Jason?

Jason: Well, that proves that he's not being honest with anyone, Carly.

Carly: Ok, you know what, maybe -- maybe he went to Bobbie because he wanted to get some help in getting to know me!

Jason: Carly, don't make excuses for the guy. Come on.

Carly: Well, could you just start being a little bit objective about him?

Jason: I'm sorry, he's a user. He tried to work Bobbie to get to you. He's going to use you and Michael or anyone he can to get information on Sonny. This has to stop!

Carly: Ok, you know, maybe you just don't get it because you don't love your father. Maybe that part of your brain was destroyed in the accident.

Sonny: Enough! Enough! Now, that's out of line.

Carly: I'm sorry, Jason. You know I did not mean that. I am sorry.

Jason: I'll get Michael and bring him home.

Carly: I shouldn't have said that. I shouldn't have said that to Jason. I'm sorry. I just -- I can't even think straight right now. I'm worried about Morgan, and this whole thing with Durant is driving me crazy. I don't even know what Iím saying half the time.

Sonny: Well, that is exactly why you shouldn't be talking to Durant.

Ric: Well, from my cursory inspection of your home, it appears Skye is not here.  But if she does contact you, I strongly advise you to tell her to turn herself in.

Jax: Well, Skyeís a resourceful woman. I'm sure she's left the country by now.

Ric: Well, let's hope so, for her sake, because if she's returned to Port Charles with the hope of clearing her name, she's deluding herself.

Skye: Are you out of your mind? Ric practically tripped over me!

Jax: Shh. I took a calculated risk that he was just going through the motions, and I was right.

Skye: Yeah, and if you were wrong, it would've ended me up in prison for life and then some.

Jax: Would you relax? I don't think Ric was really concerned about finding you, anyway. Besides, now he's not suspicious anymore and I bought us some more time.

Skye: Yeah -- more time to look for Luke.

Jax: Right. Well, you'd better get to work.

Nikolas: How did the fire start?

Minister: I can't be certain. I'd locked up for the night. All the candles were extinguished. The lights were off, so an electrical fire's unlikely. The fire department is sending an arson investigator. But the church burned almost to the ground. I doubt they'll be able to find anything.

Emily: Do you think it was arson?

Minister: I can't imagine who would've started it.

Nikolas: Well, if there's no other explanation, then, yeah, the fire must have been set deliberately.

Minister: There was a thunderstorm earlier in the evening. You know, it's possible the church could've been hit by lightning and the fire was an act of God. Either that or, I don't know, we're cursed.

Tracy: You burned a church?

Helena: It was only a wooden building. They didn't even hold regular services there.

Tracy: You don't think that's a little over the top?

Helena: I am merely being creative.

Tracy: You're thwarting a wedding, not conducting guerrilla warfare!

Helena: Nikolas is a Cassadine. Unlike the weak and avaricious Quartermaines, he's not easily dissuaded from his heart's desire.

Tracy: Spare me. Torching a church is exactly what I should've expected from you. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that Nikolas and Emily believe that mumbo-jumbo curse thing and cancel the wedding.

Helena: It is imperative that Nikolas believe in the curse. Now, he will only give Emily up to save her.

Courtney: Hey. You should have asked before you just helped yourself.

Michael: When you lived at Uncle Jasonís, you said I could have cookies whenever I wanted.

Courtney: Well, yeah, those were a gift, though, and I want to return them.

Michael: Why? Don't you like the person who sent them?

Courtney: I like him sometimes. But other times, he makes me so mad; I never want to speak to him again.

Michael: That's pretty mad.

Courtney: Yeah, it is. Anyway, that's how Iím feeling right now.

Michael: Is this person your friend?

Courtney: I guess you could say that.

Michael: Then your friend should apologize.

Courtney: You're pretty smart, you know that?

[Knock on door]

Michael: Maybe that's your friend now.

Courtney: No, that is your parents coming to take you home.

Michael: I'm not leaving.

Courtney: Yeah, you need to work this out with your Mom and Dad.

Nikolas: The odds are definitely against us. We're both facing criminal charges, the witness who accused you was murdered, I stained your heirloom wedding gown, and the church we were about to get married in just burned to the ground.

Emily: Could be worse.

Nikolas: Well --

Emily: I'm not sure how, but --

Nikolas: You sure you still don't believe in curses?

Emily: I believe in us, in how strong we are together. And if that curse is real, then we'll fight it.

Nikolas: Yeah, that's right. We'll beat Helena at her own game, ok?

Emily: Ok.

Nikolas: Because nothing -- not curses or fires or lightning or both our demented families -- nothing's going to keep me from making you my wife.

Tracy: Not only was torching a church in bad taste, it didn't accomplish a thing. All Nikolas and Emily have to do is choose another church or get married in that monstrosity they call home.

Helena: Then we'll have to raise the stakes. We'll have to find a way to convince Emily and Nikolas that their marriage can never be.

Tracy: That much is obvious.

Helena: Then start thinking.

Tracy: Oh, has your creativity dried up?

Helena: Hmm, this from the woman who hasn't come up with a single idea of her own?

Tracy: Well, all your harebrained schemes are worthless if Nikolas and Emily decide to go ahead with their plans.

Edward: Perhaps I can help.

Tracy: Daddy! Darling! I guess your heart condition wasn't as dire as we thought. When did you get back, and how long have you been listening?

Edward: Long enough to hear you two conspiring.

Tracy: Oh, well, you must have misunderstood. I would never --

Edward: It's all right, I'm not objecting. On the contrary, I agree. Emily and Nikolas should never marry. So count me in. We'll stop the wedding together.

Lucky: Webber. Hey. Did you come up with anything on the Mary Bishop murder?

Steven: I'm sorry. The tests I ran came up inconclusive.

John: Right on time.

Lorenzo: Didn't give me much choice.

John: You obviously have the sense to respect my position as a federal prosecutor. That will -- it's going to be very helpful.

Lorenzo: Get to the point.

John: Mary Bishop murdered your niece, Sage. Days later, Mary herself was murdered when somebody switched her medication and she overdosed. Tests were run on the one pill that Mary didn't swallow, and traces of D.N.A. were found.

Lorenzo: Did you find a match?

John: A real good match for Sage -- but, of course, that would've been impossible.

Lorenzo: Hmm.

John: We don't have your D.N.A. on file. I'm sure that I could order a sample, subpoena it. I bet it'd be a pretty close match.

Lorenzo: I was in Venezuela burying my niece when Mary Bishop died.

John: Yeah. That was your cover. Personally, I think you came back here, you murdered Mary yourself. A life for a life.

Lorenzo: You'll never prove it.

John: Oh, we could always take it to trial and find out. Or we can make the proof disappear and you can walk away.

Lorenzo: In exchange for what?

John: Cooperation. I plan on busting Sonny Corinthos and putting him in prison for life.

Carly: God, I love to watch Morgan sleep. He looks like a little angel.

Sonny: It's hard to believe he was ever sick. Thank God it wasn't more serious.

Carly: You know, Sonny, we're so lucky to have two children to love and take care of. You know, I know that I can never get the time back with my father that I lost, but I -- what do you think if I -- if I bring John tomorrow to see Morgan?

Sonny: No, no, no. Look --

Carly: But, Sonny --

Sonny: Wait, listen to me, ok? You can see John Durant if you want, but I don't want him anywhere near my children.

Michael: Hey, you want a cookie? Aunt Courtneyís friend sent them to her. They're really good.

Jason: Don't try to change the subject. Michael, I told you not to trust Durant. I didn't tell you to blackmail your mom into staying away from him.

Michael: But you said Durant wants to put Daddy in jail.

Jason: Yeah, he does, but you shouldn't be --

Michael: Then Iím going to keep Mommy away from him. I'm going to make sure that happens.

Jason: Hey, hey, hold on. This is not up to you. Your mom's a grownup. She gets to make her own choices.

Michael: Well, she's wrong!

Jason: Well, then she's going to have to figure that out for herself.

Michael: But --

Jason: There's no -- there's no buts. I'm taking you home. Go get cleaned up.

Courtney: Thank you.

Jason: Can we speed it up a little bit?

Courtney: Come on. Do you really think it was necessary to warn Michael about his own grandfather?

Jason: Yeah, I did.

Courtney: Listen, Jason, about the kiss the other day --

Jason: You know what, Courtney? Seriously, I know, it doesn't matter anymore.

Courtney: But just please let me apologize? Just let me -- please? I overreacted to something stupid and I -- I needed your help, and I didn't mean to use you. That's not what I was --

[Knock on door]

Courtney: Oh, God. It's another delivery person. They've been coming all night. Will you just tell them to go away? I don't want it.

Jason: She doesn't want any.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

[Computer beeps]

Jax: So what happened, you left my apartment and you raced home to call Jason?

Lorenzo: I'm supposed to trust your self-interest?

John: You don't have much choice.

Carly: Sonny, I would be extra careful if John was around the kids.

Sonny: I can't take that risk. I don't want the boys getting hurt.
