[Clock chimes]

[Chiming stops]

Courtney: Wait. Wait, wait a minute. It's midnight. I won!

Helena: Oh, go ahead. Defy my wishes. Marry. Embrace happiness when and where you can because your joy is fleeting. My curse is upon you, Nikolas and Emily. Your joy will bring nothing but pain and sorrow to you and yours for as long as you both shall live.

[Thunder]

Dillon: Oh, no!

Emily: Um --

Monica: What is -- oh -- whew.

Georgie: Where'd she go?

Justus: You don't want to leave without talking to the cops, now, do you?

Ric: Hey. Nice work for a suspended officer. Why don't you bring Nurse Harris in for a statement? Congratulations. You may have gotten Emily off.

Nikolas: You ok?

Emily: Yeah, a little shaky. Yeah, not -- not that I believe in curses, but -- oh, my God.

Nikolas: Oh -- jeez!

Bobbie: Donna? Donna? Can we get some help over here?

Donna: Lucky.

Carly: Michael, this is -- Michael, I want to introduce you to your grandfather. John is my father.

John: Were you saying a prayer for your little brother?

Michael: I already did. Do you want to say one?

John: Yes, very much. Dear God, please hear our prayer for safety and speedy recovery of Michael’s brother, my grandson.

Sonny: I don't want you to go anywhere near my son with that.

Steven: Would you rather he die?

Sonny: No, I would rather have a second opinion.

Steven: We don't have time. Your son has a bacterial infection. I can't administer this injection without your permission, and every second you waste is costing your son.

Jason: Just let him do it. Sonny, let him do it.

Sonny: All right, all right. But I tell you what -- go ahead and do it. But if my son dies, so do you.

Courtney: Oh, was that down to the wire or what? I mean, I said I was going to win, but -- make sure -- make sure you get all those zeros right, Jax. That's right -- $10 million. Thank you. Thank you. On behalf of myself and all of the children that this money will help, thanks. Hey, come on. Jax, come on, a bet's a bet. I won, you lost. Thank you. Oh --

Jax: You know, maybe we both lost. But that's the risk we took, isn't it?

Courtney: No, uh-uh. No, only one of us lost, not both of us. One -- you.

Jax: You're right. You beat me at my own game. Congratulations. You're a worthy opponent.

Courtney: Hey, come on, Jax, you almost won.

Jax: Well, "almost" doesn't cut it. "Almost" never wins.

Courtney: Mm-hmm, good point. I bet this wasn't what you had planned tonight.

Jax: Well, you know, why waste time thinking about what might have been?

Courtney: I agree. Hmm.

Jax: I mean -- I mean, you won. You beat me at my own game, played to win. You did. I respect that. I wish you all the best.

Courtney: Whoa, whoa, whoa -- hey! Wait, wait -- wait just one second.

Tracy: I think you can let me go of me now.

Justus: So, what, you can run out and meet Helena? I don't think so.

Tracy: Please! I hardly know her.

Nikolas: Obviously. Because if you truly knew my grandmother, you wouldn't be working with her.

Tracy: We decided to have a nice party for you, and this is the thanks that we get? Do you know how much work I put into this?

Emily: Wait, how much do you know about Cassadine parties?

Tracy: Well, obviously, they tend to be overwrought and melodramatic.

Nikolas: What's my grandmother planning next, Tracy?

Tracy: To bring the entree in, to raid the wine cellar, maybe to lead us all through the tunnels. How would I know? She didn't leave me a memo.

Justus: Yeah, well, she definitely left you holding the bag. If you and Helena are charged with bribing Donna Harris, you could be facing serious charges.

Tracy: I didn't bribe anyone.

Emily: Donna Harris disagrees.

Tracy: Don't you all think this is just a little convenient? Lucky, who was suspended from the force -- without pay, I might add -- finds a witness who can exonerate his little friend, and he's got her stashed so she can't change her mind. What do you call that, Mr. Lansing? Kidnapping?

Lucky: Whoa, whoa, whoa. You know what? Donna Harris is terrified, and I'm keeping her safe.

Tracy: And maybe she's terrified of you. Did you bully her into lying for you?

Lucky: You know what? She's telling the truth, all right? Nurse Harris didn't even see Emily near Mary’s room.

Tracy: Ok, Quartermaines, which one of you chipped in for the bribe? My darling sons?

Dillon: Uh --

Tracy: Justus, surely not you. Oh, Monica, how about you and Alan? Did you cough up some money --?

Monica: Oh, please, Tracy!

Tracy: So that I would be cut out of my mother's will and our brave little soldier would get away with murder?

Emily: Look, I didn't kill anyone, Tracy. Helena doesn't want me to marry Nikolas, and you don't want me to inherit, so you both, what, teamed up to frame me.

Tracy: Is she always this paranoid? Why didn't you get her some counseling?

Justus: You need counseling, Tracy, of the legal kind. You could be charged with obstruction of justice here.

Emily: You know, I guess I should be relieved. Your uncle tried to kill me at our last engagement party.

Nikolas: Oh, come on.

Emily: Now all we have to deal with is some stupid curse. Nikolas, don't tell me that you believe this has any actual power?

Ric: Lucky, your witness, Nurse Donna Harris, just took an overdose of pills. She's at General Hospital. She's not expected to make it through the night.

 [Monitor beeps]

Bobbie: I've worked with Donna for years, and she has been under a lot of pressure, but a deliberate overdose?

Doctor: Well, that's what it looks like.

Bobbie: It just doesn't make any sense. Do we know what she took?

Doctor: Enough benzodiazepine to kill her.

Bobbie: I don't believe it's attempted suicide.

John: Please guide the doctor who is helping Morgan tonight, and give my grandson the strength to survive. Amen.

Michael: Amen.

Carly: Thank you.

Michael: Is he really my grandfather?

Carly: Yeah, sweetie, he is.

Michael: Like Grandpa Mike?

Carly: Um -- well, Grandpa Mike is your dad's father, and John is -- he's mine.

Michael: Where have you been?

Carly: Sweetie, it's complicated.

Michael: Are you mad at Mommy?

John: No. Oh, no, no. Not at all.

Carly: Sweetie, come on. You know what? I'm going to explain all this to you later. We need to go check on Morgan. Come on.

Michael: Ok.

Carly: Let's go.

Michael: Are you mad at him?

John: Michael, I made a mistake a long, long time ago. I never knew I had a daughter or grandchildren. But now, thanks to your mother, I found all of you.

Sonny: This had better work, Jase.

Jason: He seems to know what he's doing.

Sonny: Yeah, he works for the cops.

Carly: Hey. How's he doing?

Jason: Dr. Webber just gave him a shot of antibiotics.

Sonny: What are you doing here?

John: I'm concerned about my grandson.

Sonny: Well, who told you Morgan was sick?

Michael: Grandpa John helped me pray for Morgan.

Carly: Hey, how is he?

Steven: Morgan's fever is still high. His vitals could be more stable.

Sonny: So I guess the shot didn't work, huh?

Steven: It's too soon to tell.

Michael: Is Morgan going to die?

Steven: Look, your brother is very sick, which is not your fault. But I've given him some medicine, and it's going to make him feel better.

Carly: Ok, I'm going to go on in with him, ok?

Michael: I'm going, too.

Carly: Is it ok if Michael goes in?

Steven: Yeah, just don't stay too long.

Sonny: How'd you know about Morgan, Durant? Did you tell him?

Steven: No.

Sonny: It would've been a break for you.

John: And why is that?

Sonny: Well, because he's the doctor who's saving Carly’s child's life. And you're the father who came out of nowhere to hold her hand and add comfort. So I guess, you know, that leaves the door open for both of you to crawl into Carly’s life.

Courtney: This whole bet was your idea, Jax.

Jax: Yeah, and you won. I mean, you played a brilliant game.

Courtney: So you're just going to leave?

Jax: Is there a reason for me to stay?

Courtney: Then I was right. I was right. The game's over, the challenge is done, so you're gone.

Jax: Oh, no, no, no. No, hold on a second. You're the one that's obsessed with the challenge.

Courtney: Me? I mean, you're the one who treats every deal like it's a game!

Jax: Oh, so, what, this is a deal to you now, is it?

Courtney: And it wasn't to you?

Jax: Not by the end, and you know that.

Courtney: You know what? You're just mad because you lost.

Jax: You know, you're a dreadful winner! Anyone ever tell you that?

Courtney: You are just thinking that if you had won by now, we'd be in bed together.

Jax: Yeah, and what would be so wrong with that?

Courtney: And since you lost the bet, you don't want me anymore. I knew it. I knew you wouldn’t.

Jax: No, no, you know what? You used the bet to hide your feelings, to hide what you're really feeling.

Courtney: Oh, God, that's ridiculous.

Jax: No, you were afraid of your feelings. That's why you focused on the game, right? On the bet; on your little deal.

Courtney: No, that would be pretty much how you live your whole life, ok? You focus on work and raiding corporations and the stock market and -- Jax, you hide behind those big, blue eyes of yours. You protect yourself with your charm.

Jax: That's right, I do that.

Courtney: So -- ok, so then what's the problem with me wanting to protect myself?

Jax: How many times did I offer just to pay you the money and just forget about the bet? Huh?

Courtney: Yeah, you mean change the rules because the original bet wasn't going the way you wanted.

Jax: That is not how I meant it.

Courtney: Oh, come on, Jax. You would've said anything to win this bet, to get me into bed, and we both know it. But when I go ahead and do what it takes to win, when I pull a dirty trick and don't go to bed with you, you just stomp around and get mad.

Jax: You just never learned to trust me. And I don't know why that is. Maybe it's because you've been hurt so much in the past.

Courtney: You just wanted to get me into bed, Jax. I mean, come on, you wanted the satisfaction of seducing me, even if it cost you three months and $10 million.

Jax: You really believe that?

Courtney: Yes, I do.

Jax: Well, then, I guess we both lost.

Courtney: I didn’t.

Jax: No, you know what? You really -- you don't understand this, do you? We could've had it all.

Georgie: Now, that was a weird engagement party.

Dillon: Yeah. Next time I complain about my mom, please remind me she's not Helena Cassadine.

Georgie: Well, Dillon, if you think about it, they're actually a lot alike.

Dillon: Something tells I'm not going to enjoy this comparison.

Georgie: No, no, no. Tracy can be mean, but she's not outright crazy. I'm not comparing them like that.

Dillon: But?

Georgie: But Helena thinks that she can control Nikolas' life, right? She gets to say who he can fall in love with, and she also thinks it's her job to get rid of whoever she doesn't like.

Dillon: Kind of like she tried over and over again to get rid of you?

Georgie: I guess I should just be glad she doesn't know any curses.

Dillon: Yeah. Sometimes I hate her; I really do.  And that's -- you know, that's why I live here, so I don't have to see her all the time. But no matter how mad I get, she's my mom, and I can't completely turn my back on her.

Georgie: Dillon, I wouldn't want you to.

Dillon: Say what?

Georgie: Well -- hold on, wait. Don't think this is me getting ready to defend your mother because it's not.

Dillon: Ok, good, because I was about to check your forehead for a fever or something, see if you're delirious.

Georgie: No, what I'm saying is Tracy’s a part of you. No, I'm saying way deep down, she loves you. She really does, and that could be why you're such a good person. In a very, very twisted way, she taught you that you matter.

Dillon: You -- you really believe that I'm a good person after all the things that I've done to screw up?

Nikolas: We need to question Nurse Harris while we still have time, Ric.

Ric: Ok, first of all, you're out on bail for attempted manslaughter.

Monica: I'll keep you posted.

Ric: You're out on bail for attempted murder. You both need to just step aside and let me handle this.

Nikolas: Alexis, can you give us a hand here, please?

Alexis: I hate to admit it, but he's right. If Nurse Harris talks to you, it's not going to make it into court. If she talks to the D.A., it'll be part of the criminal investigation.

Ric: Ok?

Justus: We just need her to back up Lucky’s story. If she admits that Helena and Tracy paid her off, that'll help exonerate Emily.

Elizabeth: All right, then go, hurry! What are we waiting for?

Nikolas: All right, this -- this shouldn't take long. I mean, the nurse already told Lucky she lied. All she has to do is say the same thing to Ric.

Emily: If she's strong enough.

Justus: Guys, you're getting ahead of yourselves here.

Alexis: If Nurse Harris lives and she backs up Lucky’s story, you'll be fine.

Emily: But if she doesn't?

Alexis: Let's just hope that she pulls through.

Bobbie: She's stable for now, but it doesn't look good. We're moving the drugs out of her system as fast as we can.

Monica: Has she said anything?

Bobbie: She asked for Lucky.

Monica: Ok, whatever you have to ask her, you do it fast.

Ric: Nurse Harris? Donna?

Donna: Hmm --

Ric: It's D.A. Lansing. I need for you to tell me what you told Lucky.

Lucky: Hey, I'm right here. You know what? Just tell me what you said.

Ric: I need for you to tell me the truth about what happened the night Mary Bishop died.

Donna: I -- I --

Lucky: You know what? It's ok.

Ric: It's all right.

Lucky: You're safe. You can do the right thing. Just tell D.A. Lansing what you told me.

Donna: I -- I lied.

John: You really think I'd use my own family, my grandson, to hurt you?

Sonny: No, hurt's too personal. Carly and Michael are just the tools you plan to work with, but that's not going to happen, Durant. Because nobody uses my family.

John: Can't you just accept the fact that I want to get to know my daughter? Yeah, it's unfortunate Carly is married to you, but I'm not going to pretend --

Michael: Dad, Dad!

Carly: Sonny, his fever broke. The medicine's working.

John: Thank God.

Jason: No, thank the doctor you brought to Port Charles.

 [Music plays]

Singer: Look inside and find what you've been searching for come and fall into my arms and know you're home but everything is here that you've been waiting on rest assured no matter what you're not alone 'cause I know that nothing matters here but this yeah, I know I can feel it in your kiss

Singers: Right here and now let's entangle in the moment just the two of us against the world that wished us away right here and now

Georgie: We both screwed up.

Dillon: Yeah. I was worse.

Georgie: Ok, so it's a contest now?

Dillon: No.

Georgie: Dillon.

Dillon: I mean it. I've been thinking a lot about that, and -- and how you were when I met you, and how I was. Hmm?

Georgie: Aren't we a little young to be getting nostalgic?

Dillon: Georgie, I -- come on, I walk --

Georgie: Ok, ok!

Dillon: I walk into a diner, and this amazing girl comes up out of nowhere and kisses me. It's like something --

Georgie: Whoa! Time-out, time-out. "Amazing"? "Amazing"? I was a geek, a geek.

Dillon: So -- duh! So was I. That's the whole point. You know, I could name five movies right now off the top of my head where the hero kisses a complete stranger -- with the exception of "The Bourne Identity," where he asks her for a ride to Paris -- and they fall in love. They fall in love, and -- and, you know, I mean, that's -- I know that's the movies, where people look like Matt Damon or Orlando Bloom, but, Georgie, you kissed me. I mean, I know you were, like, trying to trick Maxie and all that, but part of me likes to believe that -- that you saw that I was a decent person, and not the jerk I've been acting like lately.

Georgie: I think I've always known that you were special.

Dillon: Yeah, I definitely feel that way about you. I mean, you are special, and that's how I've messed up because I haven't treated you that way, and you deserve to be. You are unique and beautiful, and I love you so much.

Georgie: I love you, too.

[Thunder]

Dillon: I think that's part of the problem.

Emily: If Nurse Harris doesn't live to retract her story --

Nikolas: She will. She will. You're innocent. Just stick to the story.

Emily: Mom, is the nurse all right?

Monica: Well, she's trying to talk to Ric and Lucky at the moment.

Nikolas: All right, I'm going to go in.

Monica: All right.

[Monitor beeps]

Ric: All right, you lied. That's ok. But I want you to tell us the truth now.

Lucky: Just tell Mr. Lansing what you told me. You can make this right.

Ric: Tell me -- tell me what you lied about, Ms. Harris.

Lucky: Emily Quartermaine is innocent. You can prove it. Just tell him what you told me!

Ric: It's all right.

Donna: I -- I --

[Donna gasps]

[Monitor alarm beeps]

Lucky: No, no -- Bobbie!

Ric: Dr. Quartermaine!

Carly: So, how's he doing?

Steven: Much better.

Michael: So Morgan’s going to be ok?

Steven: Your little brother is going to be throwing fast pitches in no time.

Carly: Hey, my angel baby. You feeling better? Hmm?

Michael: I think he is.

Carly: You saved my son's life and I'm never going to forget it.

Steven: Morgan's a very tough kid.

Carly: Well, thank you for what you did.

Steven: I'm just here to help, that's all.

Sonny: I'll be back. Ahem.

Steven: You know, I'm not trying to cause trouble for anybody.

John: Steven Webber just saved my grandson's life. Maybe he isn't such a bad guy after all.

Sonny: Morgan's your grandson now?

John: Yeah. Actually, he's been my grandson his whole life. Now that I know that --

Sonny: It gives you another excuse to work Carly?

John: Hey, man, your paranoia is your problem. All I want to get to do is know my daughter and my grandchildren.

Dillon: How old were Romeo and Juliet?

Georgie: She was 14, and he was a little bit older, maybe 17-ish.

Dillon: Ok, all right. So, roughly, our age?

Georgie: Wait a minute; you're not planning on drinking any poison or stabbing yourself in the heart, right?

Dillon: No, no, no, no. Dying for love is only glamorous in the movies.

Georgie: Glad to hear it.

Dillon: My point is they were way too young to be experiencing the kind of love that they were feeling. It's like -- you know Warren Beatty and Natalie Wood in "Splendor in the Grass"? They're, like, still trying to figure out whether or not they want to go to college, and then all of a sudden they meet this person who's, like, the reason for everything, you know? And it's huge and it's powerful, and it overwhelmed them and they didn't know how to handle it, and they self-destructed.

Georgie: And you're saying that's what we did, only on a much smaller scale? Or maybe not, because Sage died over it.

Dillon: I think when I saw you that night and you were flipping out over Sage and you were screaming and crying and saying that you couldn't take it, that's when I realized how much I hurt you. That's when I realized it was my fault. You know, I --

Georgie: Dillon, it was not your fault.

Dillon: No, no, listen to me. It was. It's like -- Lucas said it, you know? He said that I was playing you and Sage off against each other, and it's true. Not -- you know, not on purpose. I promise you that. I wasn't conscious about the fact that I was doing it. But to see the two of you and -- and the way that you were hurting? I was so sorry, you know, and I did -- I stood there, and I could've done so many things, and I just watched everything get worse. I think -- I think that's why I'm so nostalgic for the old days because it was before I ever hurt you.

Georgie: Dillon, I think we needed to make those mistakes to know that we -- we still want to be together, because I know that I still want to be with you. And I'm really glad that that day at Kelly’s, instead of Matt Damon or Orlando Bloom, I kissed you.

[Dillon laughs]

Elizabeth: That was some engagement party, huh?

Emily: Yeah. At least it wasn't boring, huh?

Elizabeth: Parts of it were romantic.

Emily: True.

Elizabeth: Of course, other parts were dreadful.

Emily: Yeah, well, I'm a Quartermaine, Nikolas is a Cassadine, it was a family occasion. What did we expect? Of course it was dreadful. It was so bad it was funny -- you know, especially that ridiculous curse of Helena’s.

Elizabeth: You think that was funny?

Emily: In a Goth sort of way, yeah.

Elizabeth: Oh, I don’t.

Alexis: Neither do I. Curses are a regular tradition in the Cassadine family.

Justus: And I thought the Quartermaines were weird.

Elizabeth: Didn't Lucky ever tell you about the curse Helena put on Luke and Laura at their wedding?

Emily: Everybody knows about that, but, come on, nobody even really saw her do it.

Elizabeth: Yeah, but Helena told them about it later on.

Emily: Supposedly Helena stood in the shadows and said, "A curse on you, Luke and Laura."

Elizabeth: Mm-hmm.

Emily: I mean, it's ridiculous. She probably made the whole thing up to torment them.

Alexis: I doubt it.

Emily: I can't believe you're actually taking this seriously.

Elizabeth: Well, just look at what happened to Luke and Laura. I mean, they were meant to be. They survived terrible odds to be together.

Alexis: Like you and Nikolas.

Elizabeth: And on their wedding day, anything seemed possible. And then Helena placed the curse.

Alexis: Six months later, Laura disappeared.

Emily: Because the Cassadines kidnapped her. I mean, the curse had nothing to do with it.

Elizabeth: When Luke and Laura reunited, they were supposed to be happy, but they weren’t. They were forced to go on the run, constantly looking over their shoulders, bringing up Lucky underground?

Emily: I mean, it was tough for all of them.

Elizabeth: All Laura ever wanted was to be with Luke and to live in a house and to raise a family. Instead, she went hopelessly insane, and now she's vanished without a trace, and so has Luke.

Emily: If you're trying to make me feel better, you aren’t.

Alexis: I just don't think you should underestimate Helena or her curse.

Justus: Wait a second, you -- you actually believe this stuff, don't you?

Alexis: I believe that Helena will do anything to keep the two of them apart.

Elizabeth: Even commit murder.

Emily: The nurse is dead, isn't she?

Lucky: Harris said she lied. You just can't ignore that.

Ric: Who did she lie to?

Alexis: Lied about what? Did she make a deathbed confession?

Lucky: Well, she tried.

Ric: All she managed to say was that she was lying.

Justus: Then you're in worse shape than you were before. Nurse Harris might've said she lied to Lucky.

Lucky: All right, but Emily didn't kill Mary Bishop.

Ric: Yes, but, unfortunately, the only person who can prove that is dead.

 [Thunder]

Tracy: Oh! Last week, I went on a big vacation...

Steven: It was a rare strain of bacteria. We switched the antibiotics just in time.

Sonny: Thank God my son's doing better. You don't expect me to be grateful, do you?

Steven: Look, I don't need your gratitude or your appreciation. I don't even need your respect.

Sonny: Get to the point.

Steven: I'm a doctor and a scientist. I keep my emotions out of my work. But one day your D.N.A., collected from a crime scene, will float into view under my microscope. And I'll do my job that day just the way I did today.

 [Monitor beeps]

Carly: Look, Steven Webber has saved Morgan’s life. I am grateful.

Jason: As long as you realize that Steven and Durant have worked together in the past, and they're probably still working together. I just want you to be careful.

Carly: Ok, I will.

John: I'm here to see my grandson.

Nikolas: Come on, the nurse told Lucky that Helena and Tracy paid her off. Doesn't that count for anything?

Ric: No, it's hearsay, Nikolas, from a suspended cop with a clear bias.

Lucky: He's right. It won't stand up in court.

Monica: So, what do you plan to do?

Ric: Well, I think the first thing we should try to find out is how Nurse Harris really died. I mean, did she really take that overdose? Did she try to commit suicide?

Justus: Apparently, she stepped off the elevator with a handful of pills.

Alexis: Maybe she tried to kill herself and changed her mind too late.

Lucky: Her sister's family was in desperate of need of her help. That's -- I mean, she was desperate for money. That's why she took the bribe from Helena and Tracy in the first place.

Nikolas: She did not commit suicide. Somebody wanted her quiet. Donna Harris was murdered.

Emily: By whoever framed me.

Tracy: You could have given me a heart attack, sneaking around, scaring me half to death. What, did you come through the tunnels? By the way, that curse -- ha-ha -- nice touch. Nonsense, but nice.

Helena: Thank you. Though I'm not surprised that you would disparage that which you do not understand.

Tracy: Which would be that?

Helena: This is a book of curses.

Tracy: You can't be serious.

Helena: Oh, it contains instructions for removing the curse that I cast tonight. I can't leave it here.

Tracy: You people are so overdramatic!

Helena: Oh, the Cassadines don't waste time with trivial blackmail and squabbles and threats. No, they have more effective ways of dealing with recalcitrant family members.

Tracy: Right. Helena? Did you know that our little Nursey Harris tried to commit suicide tonight?

Helena: Oh, she's a very unhappy woman.

Tracy: Guess your bloody curse worked.

Helena: Technically, that was a fire curse. But this book contains plenty of bloody curses. Oh, they're dramatic and very effective. You'll see.

 [Knock on door]

Jax: Who is it?

Courtney: It's me. Look, I feel awful about all this, ok? I mean, I won, but I -- you're right. I got carried away with the bet. I was hiding behind the game. I -- I was refusing to admit how I feel, ok? Or how I'm starting to feel. I don't -- ok, look, I'm not saying this right. We could've had something wonderful, Jax, and I settled for a check. Yeah, I know, ok, it was a $10 million check, and that's pretty wonderful. I mean, it's actually fabulous, but -- but -- I won. I just -- I didn't get what I wanted. And what I didn't get, what I really wanted is you.

John: That was beautiful. You got Carly’s undying gratitude. Yeah.

Steven: Oh, and I also cured your grandson of a potentially life-threatening illness.

John: Look, all I'm saying is it worked well from all angles, all right?

Jason: I know you're working together. And I know you want to take Sonny down, Durant, but it's not going to happen.

Carly: Hey.

[Monitor beeps]

Carly: You know, I keep thinking how lucky Morgan is to survive all of this, how he got to have his father beside him. You and I didn't get that, you know. Sonny, I think I need to get to know my father.

Sonny: Ahem. Well, I understand.

Justus: Let's go with the assumption that Nurse Harris was murdered to stop her from retracting her statement.

Alexis: Which makes Helena the killer, which is almost going to be impossible to prove.

Lucky: Helena probably killed Mary, too.

Alexis: No, I don't think so. Nikolas shot Mary, and Helena wouldn't risk raising the charges he's facing from assault to manslaughter.

Elizabeth: Mary didn't die from anything Nikolas did.

Ric: No, but the injuries that he caused could be a contributing factor to Mary’s death because she had to be hospitalized and she needed meds for her injuries.

Alexis: I still don't think Helena would expose Nikolas to that kind of risk.

Justus: Well, maybe somebody else killed Mary, and Helena and Tracy took advantage of the situation to frame Emily.

Ric: I don't suppose you have anything resembling proof?

Monica: Preliminary autopsy report. I can save you the trouble. Donna Harris had a hematoma on the back of her head -- blunt force. She had bruises and scratches inside of her mouth. Somebody forced pills down her throat.

Ric: Well, then, we're definitely looking at murder.

Tracy: Honestly, your servants are as peculiar as the rest of yours. Does that launch captain ever speak?

Helena: Unlike your family, the Cassadines prize discretion in their servants.

Nikolas: Nurse Harris is dead.

Emily: But you probably already know that.

Nikolas: Yeah, because you killed her.

Tracy: What? Are you serious?

Helena: No, no, Nikolas is right. That poor nurse was killed, but not by a person. By the curse that you, Nikolas, forced me to place on you. And if you marry Emily, others will suffer. Others will die.

Woman: Jax?

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Courtney: Our business is over!

Nikolas: You are the curse. Nurse Harris is dead because you killed her.

John: If you interfere with my relationship with my daughter, I will take you down.
