Jason: What are you doing?
Dillon: That sounded good.
Brook Lynn: Thanks. It's still a work in progress.
Dillon: Yeah, after what happened earlier, I wasn't sure if you'd ever want to go back to music again.
Brook Lynn: No, it's the opposite. Look, you made me realize how much I want to do this.
Lorenzo: It's a beautiful night.
Lois: Are you following me now?
Lorenzo: No. But I'm glad we ran into each other. I missed you.
Sonny: Are you here to see me, or Carly?
John: Sorry to bruise your ego, Mr. Corinthos. I have no interest in you. I came to see my daughter.
Courtney: Jason, wait. God, Iím sorry. Ok, I -- it's this stupid bet with Jax. I'm --
Jason: It's a bet? Sam, let's go.
Jax: Look, Courtney --
Courtney: Would you just stop, Jax? Just -- God, don't you just -- I can't do this anymore.
Brook Lynn: Thank you for speaking up when Simon tried to push the contracts through.
Dillon: Oh --
Brook Lynn: Look, you and my dad -- you guys were the only two to stop and think that maybe I needed time to make sure that this is what I wanted.
Dillon: Well, yeah. I mean, why did you come to Port Charles in the first place? So that you wouldn't be pressured into singing, right? I mean, Brook, this has to be on your terms.
Brook Lynn: Thanks for watching my back.
Dillon: [As a gangster] Hey, forget about it.
Georgie: Hey, guys.
Brook Lynn: Hey.
Lucas: Hey. So you're going for it? America's next pop superstar.
Brook Lynn: Huh -- Iím not so sure about that, but --
Georgie: Well, I think it's what you've wanted all along.
Brook Lynn: I'm actually pretty excited about it. I mean, I love to write music, right? And getting my feelings out through lyric and song; it's a way to connect.
Simon: Hey, there she is. Are you ready?
Brook Lynn: For what?
Simon: For your extreme makeover.
Lois: I thought I made it perfectly clear that you and I have nothing left to say to one another.
Lorenzo: I disagree.
Lois: What about what I want?
Lorenzo: Well, it's true you would be better off without me in your life.
Lois: Great. I'm glad we finally reached a consensus on that.
Lorenzo: I'm a bad risk, right? Failed the one person who mattered to me the most. Sage counted on me.
Lois: No, you're not responsible for what happened to Sage. But as much as I share in your grief, I am not willing to give you another chance.
Lorenzo: Yeah. Well, you're doing the right thing. I was going to ask you if you'd join me for a drink at The Cellar later, but better if you don't.
Lois: Much better.
Lorenzo: I'm deeply sorry. I have enjoyed your company, Ms. Cerullo. You and I will probably be more comfortable as strangers. Good night.
Lois: Good night.
Carly: When did you find out I was your daughter?
John: From the first time you approached me, I knew that you had an agenda. I just didn't realize it was so personal. I have a lot of enemies. For my own safety, I needed to know if you were a threat.
Carly: So you don't know for sure that I really am your daughter.
John: Well, I got your fingerprints off your beer bottle at the pub. Ran a background check, did a D.N.A. test, and then when I found out who your mother was, things started adding up.
Carly: And the D.N.A. test was --
John: Conclusive. You're my daughter.
Carly: So you just decided to stop on by?
John: It seemed like the appropriate response.
Sonny: Well, I know what's really going on here.
John: Well, I'm having a reunion with the child that I never had the opportunity to know.
Sonny: No, you're getting a free pass inside a life of a man you want to send to prison.
Jax: Whoa, whoa, hold on a second. Are we going to talk about what happened?
Courtney: You know exactly what just happened and why.
Jax: No, I donít. No, you got to explain yourself.
Courtney: God, Jax, life is just one big joke to you, huh? All meaningless adventure and wagers. But you know what? People have feelings, ok? And it is not ok to exploit them.
Jax: Well, I agree with that. I'm just not -- why am I to blame for you kissing Jason?
Courtney: Because you pushed me to do it! All right? I've tried everything to avoid you. I even signed myself into a convent.
Jax: Well, the habit didn't really suit you.
Courtney: Oh, very funny. You wouldn't back off, ok? So I did the worst thing that I could think of, you know, I pulled a Carly. I got desperate, I saw a solution, and I went for it.
Jax: You were -- you were trying to throw Jason in my face?
Courtney: Yeah -- I didn't even think or even consider how that would make Jason feel.
Jax: Oh, I'm sure he'll get over it.
Courtney: Look, Jax, I swore that I would never deliberately hurt Jason --
Courtney: And today I did.
Jax: Oh, yeah? Why does this matter so much to you?
Courtney: Because a part of me still loves him.
Sam: I will take my bags upstairs.
Jason: No, I'll do it. Just -- just decide what you want for dinner, all right?
Sam: First, I want to talk to you, because I'm worried about you.
Sam: You've got to be hurting. Courtney used you.
Jason: No, Sam, it's done.
Sam: You know, I used to be a lot like you.
Sam: I never wanted to talk about anything uncomfortable. I figured, what's the point?
Jason: Mm-hmm. Then you understand.
Sam: No, I was wrong. When you have someone who cares, someone who wants to help, normally, you open up, Jason.
Sam: Punch the wall, yell at me, do something.
Jason: Sam --
Sam: I would have hated it if Sonny treated me that way. It is completely disrespectful.
Jason: Sam, just -- just leave it alone.
Alan: We just got your page. What was so urgent?
Tracy: Daddy's a prisoner in the hospital.
Monica: Oh, please, not this again.
Tracy: He needs his family!
Alan: Go and visit him.
Monica: She canít. Tracy doesn't want to lose her eligibility to inherit Lilaís estate.
Tracy: I can't do anything to help him. You can. You are Chief of Staff of this hospital. Use your authority. Get him sent home so we can take care of him and keep him away from Heather Webber.
Monica: Forget it, Tracy.
Tracy: Monica, if we don't intervene, they are going to be married by morning. She's probably having a Justice of the Peace come to the hospital even as we speak.
Alan: You know, the least I can do is check his vitals.
Monica: Ok, you do that, and you're playing right into her hands.
Dillon: How Brook dresses is part of who she is.
Georgie: You know, I tried a makeover once and it was a complete disaster.
Simon: Well, maybe you didn't have my team behind you.
Lucas: Brook's already beautiful. She's unique.
Simon: I agree. Her voice is one in a million, but I am selling the whole package. You know, you have to think of Brook as essentially a product now. It's not personal; it's business.
Brook Lynn: Everything about my music is personal.
Georgie: Wait a minute. What kind of changes did you have in mind?
Simon: As I said before, hair, makeup. Maybe more glamorous clothes.
Dillon: Wait, wait, wait a second. You do realize if she's up onstage and she feels uncomfortable, the audience is going to know that.
Lucas: Yeah, Dillonís right. If she doesn't want to change, you need to back off. Anyway, tonight's a bad night for a makeover. We're already late for a football game.
Simon: Brook has to work tonight.
Georgie: I don't know. It's one of our biggest games. Kennedy's a huge rival.
Lucas: Come on, Brook. You might actually have a little fun.
Brook Lynn: I'm sorry. I canít.
Dillon: Go. Go, go, go, go, go. I'll -- I'll stay here.
Simon: Come on, that's not necessary.
Dillon: Oh. Why not? I mean, you know, I should represent L&B. And after all, I need to learn the ins and outs of the production process.
Lucas: Well, I told the guys I would meet them there, but I can cancel.
Brook Lynn: No, no. Look, Dillon can stay.
Georgie: I'll stay, too -- for moral support.
Lucas: All right. Guess I'll catch up with you guys later. Good luck, Brook.
Brook Lynn: Thanks. See you, Lucas.
Dillon: Whoa, wait a second. When -- when did all this get here?
Brook Lynn: It got here while I was rehearsing. I didn't know it was for me, though.
Dillon: What --
Simon: Well, let's try this one first.
Brook Lynn: Simon, I would never wear that.
Simon: Oh, come on. Stop overthinking it, Brook. It isn't about it. It's about experimenting, that's all. Look, think on this. Once we craft your look, every girl is going to envy you, and every boy is -- think of it as playing the role of a lifetime.
John: If Carly hadn't approached me, I never would have suspected that I had a daughter.
Sonny: So now that you know who she is, you're not above using her to get to me?
John: I don't have a lot of family, Mr. Corinthos. My life has been about my career. I made a choice not to have children.
Carly: Ok, well, then just forget this ever happened. You can go back to your life, and it'll be like I never existed.
John: No. No, that's something I can't do. When I got back the results of the D.N.A., I realized that I needed to get to know you. We're family, right? We have to figure out what to do with this connection.
Sonny: Five minutes in our home does not make you family.
John: Maybe I've misunderstood. You sought me out. I assume you must have had a reason.
Carly: Look, I always wanted to get to know my father, but once I met you, I realized I made a mistake.
John: Well, here I am anyway.
Carly: Yeah, and it's happening too fast for me.
John: Me, too. Look, you own a nightclub -- The Cellar, right?
Carly: Yeah. What -- how -- how is this --
Sonny: How? The background check I was telling you about? Well, he knows everything about you.
John: Not the important things. Anyway, look, I -- I'm going to have dinner over at The Cellar. If you want to talk, please feel free to join me. If not, you can always get a hold of me in New York. I'm sorry to interrupt your evening.
Sonny: I'm sorry, Carly. You're better off never going near that man again.
Brook Lynn: Guys, I can't come out like this, all right? Just give me the next one.
Simon: Hey, Brook, remember what I said about playing a part? Try it. Come on; come out of that room with confidence. Try and make it work for you.
Brook Lynn: I told you. Look, you hate it.
Georgie: Brook, it's just one dress.
Dillon: It's -- it's not -- it's not you. You know what? Her voice -- it's angsty, it's soulful. She doesn't need to dress like a prom queen.
Simon: No, but she needs to grab the audience's attention.
Dillon: Oh --
Simon: She needs to stand out.
Dillon: Why can't you let her just be the way she is? That's how you wanted her originally.
Georgie: Brook will sound great no matter what.
Simon: Trust me, guys, image is everything.
Dillon: Yeah, image is everything -- not to the people who actually care about the music, though. Brook -- Brook, look at me. People will listen to you, not some overhyped image machine.
Simon: A star needs to grab her audience by the loins the moment she sets foot onstage. End of story.
Brook Lynn: Simon, this doesn't work on me, ok?
Lois: Don't worry about it, baby. You just need a woman's help to get it right, and fortunately, Iíve been known to turn a few heads.
Simon: Thank you. Someone who knows the business. We were just working on a makeover. My people sent over this wardrobe.
Dillon: Yeah, she hates everything so far.
Lois: Don't fret. I'll look at it and I'll work something out.
Simon: You know what? Why don't I leave you guys to it? I'll be back later to check on the final product.
Dillon: I swear, if that calls Brook a product one more time --
Lois: Dillon, zip it. Ah. Brookie and I have work to do. Prepare to be dazzled.
Monica: Tracy isn't worried about Edwardís health. She's just trying to get you disqualified.
Alan: Well, the joke's on her. I was going to check in with father's doctors, not take his vitals myself.
Tracy: You would trust his health to strangers?
Alan: I've got the best staff in the northeast.
Tracy: And what about Heather Webber? She is trying to lead him to the altar by his aging libido.
Felicia: Tracy. I came as soon as I got your call. Is Edward all right?
Alan: Well, we were right, huh? It was a setup all along.
Felicia: What? What setup?
Monica: Edward is fine. Tracy was trying to persuade one of us to check on him.
Tracy: Alan and Monica are medical professionals. They should be allowed to check on my father.
Felicia: There are plenty of doctors looking out for your father.
Tracy: They can't be there all the time. And what about Heather? She's trying to con him into matrimony, thanks to you. You need to change the rules! We need access to my father.
Heather: Edward doesn't want you anywhere near him.
Sam: You have to deal with this.
Sam: Courtney was the last person you let into your life, and she betrayed that trust today. Oh, fine, I'm going to have this conversation with myself, but I'm not pretending not to see that you are hurting. What? It is too hard to bottle up your feelings. It eats away at you, I know. I used to do it all the time. I had to protect myself. I had to protect my brother. But my life -- it's better, now that I let go. Huh. You're just going to ignore me, just like that?
Jason: No, you know, I'm actually kind of hungry, so maybe we should make some food.
Sam: Oh, ok, I'm going to take that as a yes. You're going to ignore what just happened --
Jason: What -- Sam --
Sam: You're going to ignore the fact that I'm trying to help you.
Jason: You're not helping me by talking so much all the time.
Sam: Because you won't let me.
Jason: No, because I don't need help. Courtney and I are over.
Sam: Ok, so you're saying that you don't care that she probably kissed you to make Jax jealous?
Courtney: This bet is seriously messing with my mind, Jax. I mean, I'm changing.
Jax: I've noticed. You're having a lot more fun.
Courtney: You call what just happened fun?
Jax: You know, if you just stop torturing yourself over what just happened with Jason, you might actually realize that this has been pretty easy. You know? The stakes aren't life or death. No one is compromising themselves or their morals.
Courtney: I just did.
Jax: No, you acted on impulse. I think what you're struggling with is the fact that you're starting to realize that love doesn't have to come with misery, which is something you never experienced with Jason or with the other brother, A.J.
Courtney: Funny -- this isn't anything like my relationship with Jason.
Jax: I know it isn't, because it doesn't hurt. And I'm never going to ask you to, you know, turn a blind eye to something that you believe is wrong. You always know where I am during the day. You know what I do for a living. You know how I make my money.
Courtney: Jason and I loved each other, despite all that, Jax.
Jax: And now?
Courtney: Now? Now, I get whisked away to exotic islands, and we play games. We flirt, Jax, that's all.
Jax: No. No, it's a lot more. It's a lot more than flirting. You and I are really enjoying each other's company, I think.
Courtney: It's strategy. That's all it is. I mean, you bet me that you could sleep with me, and now you are driven at all costs to win.
Jax: Well, so are you. We're both doing this.
Courtney: No, Jax, there's no "we," ok? There never will be. By tomorrow night at 12:00, my foundation will have your $10 million and you will be out of my life for good.
Carly: Do you really think that Durant -- my father is -- is that much of a threat?
Sonny: I have every reason to believe so. You thought so yourself a half-hour ago when you said it was a mistake to go looking for him. The whole thing, I mean, so --
Carly: I know, I know, I know, you're right. It's just that, you know, my adoptive father -- he left when I was so young, and there is this hole in my heart that I always thought my dad could fill.
Sonny: Well, I'm not going to keep you from your father, so --
Carly: Sonny, it would just be a conversation.
Sonny: Well --
Carly: You know, I wouldn't talk about your business. I wouldn't even talk about us.
Sonny: Durant's a fed. He already knows everything about us, you know.
Carly: Well, I won't go without your blessing.
Sonny: I just want you to be careful.
Carly: Thank you.
Sonny: Come on, Iíll walk you to the elevator. Go.
Carly: I love you, Sonny.
Sam: Look, I'm not in the mood for another knockdown-dragout fight, so if that's what --
Sonny: No, that's not what -- I need to speak with Jason.
Jason: What is it?
Sonny: We got a problem.
Lois: Are you guys ready for this?
Dillon: I can't remember ever being so excited.
Lois: Come on out, baby.
Georgie: Oh, my God, Brook, you look amazing!
Lois: Was I right or was I right?
Georgie: You're right.
Dillon: I don't mean to blow this, but that's not Brook in there. I mean, I'm looking at her, and that's not Brook.
Brook Lynn: Dillon's right. I mean, it feels a little weird.
Dillon: Yeah, you know why? It's because you're being what Simon wants you to be, instead of who you are.
Lois: There's nothing wrong with changing things up a little. Besides, it's not like Brookie has to wear this every day.
Georgie: Just onstage.
Lois: And for the video and in a public appearance or two. But, baby, you could start a new trend with this look.
Brook Lynn: Ma, I don't want people to dress like me, all right? And God, everything is so tight.
Lois: You know what? You just need to let yourself adjust.
Dillon: This is unbelievable. I mean, you're the one -- you say yourself that Brook Lynn is perfect. Why are you going along with this?
Brook Lynn: Look, I want to sing, all right? I don't want to play dress up so guys will want me.
Lois: Ok, baby, packaging is part of the business, ok? You got to use your sexuality to get people to listen. And then you can be whomever you want to be.
Brook Lynn: What, is nothing good enough for you, huh? I thought you --
Lois: You know --
Brook Lynn: Ma, I thought you wanted me to be a singer.
Lois: I do. But you know as well as I do that you're gorgeous, so why not show it off a little?
Brook Lynn: You want to know how I feel? I feel like a freak!
Lois: Hmm -- give her a minute.
Georgie: Lois, she was really upset.
Lois: If Brookie truly hated how she looked, she would have ditched her clothes here. Let her walk it off. Trust me, once she sees the effect that that outfit has on the boys around town, she will love her makeover.
Dillon: You know what? I don't even understand you anymore. You're forcing Brook Lynn to live out her worst nightmare. You're changing her into somebody that she's not.
Georgie: That went well.
Georgie: Is there always so much drama around here?
Lois: It is the music business. You know, some of these are kind of nice. This, for instance, wouldn't work for Brookie. But on the right kind of woman, this dress could rock a man's world.
Monica: You latched on to Edward the moment Lila passed away.
Tracy: We're not going to let you get away with preying on our father.
Alan: He's going to live a long and happy life far away from you.
Felicia: Let's all calm down.
Heather: Yeah, well, I canít. All Edwardís family cares about is money. You drove him to that heart attack. And if Felicia were to allow any of you to go and visit him, you'd probably finish the job.
Tracy: Oh, and you don't want him to expire till you've managed to force him to marry you.
Monica: You have no business in this family, Heather!
Heather: Someone has to protect that sweet man from you.
Tracy: The way you protected your sweet son?
Alan: The one you sold at birth for $10,000?
Heather: At least I admit my mistakes. My son grew up to be a wonderful man. A doctor, not an alcoholic thief or a mob enforcer.
Tracy: The fact remains you are a danger to our father. You have motive, means, and, thanks to Felicia, the opportunity to swindle him.
Felicia: Heather seems to be taking good care of Edward.
Tracy: And for all we know, she's drugging him into submission.
Heather: I've heard enough. I'm going to go check on Edward.
Felicia: Allow me.
Sonny: You've heard of John Durant, right?
Sonny: He's Carlyís father.
Jason: The federal prosecutor from Manhattan?
Sonny: "Mr. Stamp Out Organized Crime" just paid Carly a visit just now.
Jason: Sonny, how long has she known this?
Sonny: She suspected, but then she realized the risk. She decided to leave it alone. She didn't want to contact him.
Jason: Yeah, and of course he wants to contact her, right?
Sonny: Well, you know what? He's a smooth guy. He claims he never wanted a family, but he had to see Carly again, just to talk. So he offered to meet her at The Cellar.
Jason: And you let her go?
Sonny: What am I supposed to -- look, I'm trying to be supportive here.
Jason: No, no, no, this is too soon. To be sure, we need another D.N.A. test.
Sonny: Durant already did that.
Jason: And you're taking his word for it?
Sonny: Look, I can ask for another test, but what's the point? He's not going to show up here -- unless he can prove that he's Carlyís father. She's vulnerable to the guy. He says it has nothing to do with me, but his reputation says the opposite. Durant is looking to make his mark by taking down every organization in the state. This is an opportunity of a lifetime for him, and you can be damn sure he's going to take it.
Jason: What do you want me to do?
Sonny: Well, I just want Carlyís father out of our lives.
Carly: Mr. Durant.
John: Well, in light of recent discoveries, don't you think that might be just a little bit formal?
Carly: Ok, so why don't we try "John"?
John: Perfect. Here, please. Here, have a seat. Here -- I'm sorry.
Carly: Oh, thank you. It's ok.
John: Wow. I've got to say, Iím -- I'm surprised to see you.
Carly: Well, it wasn't an easy decision to make, to come. And I need to tell you something you need to understand before we talk. An enemy of Sonny's is an enemy of mine.
John: Carly, I can assure you, my intentions to get to know --
Carly: Please don't assure me of intention -- I mean, you can't say you have no interest in Sonny. You made a living and a name for yourself prosecuting racketeers and mobsters. You can't just leave that at the door.
John: I can try. Look -- all right, look, I know, I'm a fed. I'm also a father. I know everything there is to know about the law. I know nothing about being a father or a parent.
Carly: And I wouldn't expect you to.
John: Well, I want to learn, and I want you to teach me. I want to know everything there is to know about Carly Corinthos, A.K.A. Caroline Benson. You know, the woman, not the wife.
Carly: Why? Why, if you never wanted to have a family?
John: Just because I theoretically chose to never have children, Carly, that's a far stretch from sitting across the table from a living, breathing daughter. I want this to work.
Carly: Let's just -- let's take it slow.
John: Fine. I'll order you an El Rey Sol. Just sit back. You tell me everything that you can tell me. No facts, no dates, just the dreams and the hopes. And it doesn't matter if -- Carly, if they're outrageous or they're crazy. I would imagine there's a lot of that stuff going on in there, right? This is difficult for you, isn't it?
Carly: Yeah, it's a lot a lot more difficult than I thought it would be.
John: There's one way around that. All you have to do is trust me.
Heather: How's Edward?
Felicia: Oh, he's fine.
Tracy: For now.
Heather: I'm going to visit him.
Felicia: I'm sorry, the "No Quartermaines" rule --
Felicia: Still is in effect.
Monica: Be reasonable, Felicia.
Alan: This is about more than my mother's estate.
Monica: Heather is dangerous. You just don't see it.
Tracy: Do you really want to take responsibility for giving her the chance to dupe our father?
Felicia: Edward made it very clear. Heather is helping him to recover.
Felicia: He just doesn't have the strength to deal with the rest of you.
Tracy: That should be your first clue that she's drugging him.
Felicia: My rule still stands. You go near Edward; you lose any chance to inherit Lilaís money or her E.L.Q. shares. Excuse me.
Tracy: I just realized. Heather marrying Daddy is the first step in her getting control of his stock. We have to invoke some kind of shareholders close.
Alan: Tracy's right. Heather must be drugging father. Otherwise, he'd be asking for Emily and Justus.
Monica: You know, I was giving Felicia the benefit of the doubt, but something isn't right about this.
Heather: Well, someone's been getting a lot of --
Sonny: Carly wants to know her father. I can't stop her from meeting him.
Mike: So you came up here to make sure that she's ok.
Sonny: You know what I feel like doing? I feel like going downstairs and yanking her out of the place.
Mike: Look, Carly is smart. If Durant is working her, she's going to know it.
Sonny: Yeah, but maybe not. I mean, look, she's never had a father. She's completely vulnerable. He can see that, Mike.
Mike: So you're afraid that Carlyís going to let her guard down and say something that compromises you?
Sonny: It could happen, Mike. Durant's a federal prosecutor with a hate on, you know, for people in my business.
Mike: All right, then just tell Carly it's too dangerous. You're sorry that things worked out the way they did --
Mike: But for the good of the family, you can't --
Sonny: He is her family now. Whether I like it or not, Durant, you know, is her father.
Mike: Like Iím yours.
Mike: Well, you and Carly have that in common now -- an inconvenient father that won't go away.
Sonny: Oh, come on, Mike, it's different. When you were coming to me, I was rejecting you -- the whole thing. Now, you know, I -- I'm grateful now. All right? So maybe I should just give Carly a chance.
Mike: It's not that simple, Michael. If Carlyís father is a threat to you, then he's a threat to her happiness, as well.
Carly: So my adoptive parents were Virginia and Frank Benson, and Frank took off when I was really young.
John: So you were an adult when you decided to find your birth mother?
Carly: Ah, it was a little more complicated than that. When I showed up first in town, I didn't tell Bobbie who I was.
John: Was she happy to see you?
Carly: She didn't know for a long time, just because I didn't tell her, and a lot went wrong between us, but, you know, we're past it now.
John: No, no, please, tell me. Tell me what happened.
John: All right. I'm not going to rush you, you know?
Carly: Look, I appreciate that. It's just that -- I made a lot of mistakes with Bobbie, and I just -- I don't want to do the same thing with you.
John: You have to forgive my impatience. I mean, this is -- well, all of a sudden. It's a lot.
Carly: Yeah, I know, you know? It's the same way for me, too. It's just -- it's been nice --
John: Maybe we should quit while we're ahead. Live to probe another day, huh?
Carly: Yeah, that works -- that works for me.
John: Perfect. I'm really glad you came by.
Carly: Me, too.
John: Carly, truly, this has been one of the best things that has happened to me in a long, long time.
Heather: Will you please page Doctors Alan and Monica Quartermaine right away?
Felicia: Edward's fine, Heather.
Heather: Oh, wait. False alarm. What? Did they take Edward for tests?
Felicia: I had him moved.
Felicia: It's an undisclosed location. I have to keep it that way.
Monica: Bobbie just told us that you had Edward transferred out of this hospital.
Alan: You can't make that call, Felicia.
Felicia: Alan, Edward needs his strength to recover.
Monica: We could bring him home. We could have round-the-clock care.
Alan: You and Heather were in on this all along, weren't you?
Heather: I didn't know anything about this. I'm worried about Edward, too, you know.
Felicia: He's very comfortable.
Alan: You are not a doctor. You can't make that call.
Monica: I agree. And, Felicia, if anything happens to Edward, it's all going to be on your head.
Simon: Where's my star?
Simon: Gone where?
Dillon: Oh, I don't know. Hopefully somewhere where they appreciate her talent and not her cup size.
Simon: Aren't we the young champion of artistic integrity?
Dillon: Simon, you don't get it. The reason that she came to Port Charles was so that she wouldn't be turned into a cookie-cutter pop diva, and that's exactly what you're trying to do right now.
Simon: Dillon, you're in for a rude awakening. When Brook Lynn hears her first single is the most downloaded music file on the net, I promise you, she will embrace this transformation.
Dillon: You know, maybe -- maybe the world's not ready for her single. I own the rights to Sage's poem. Without that, you got no song.
Georgie: Dillon --
Simon: Was that a threat?
Dillon: No. That was a promise. You try to turn Brook Lynn into something she's not, and I will stop you.
Man: Whoa. Check that out.
Lucas: Whoa -- ah, ah, ah. Down, boy.
Man: No, no, this one's mine.
Lucas: No, she's taken.
Brook Lynn: I thought you'd be at the game.
Lucas: Well, the game got canceled.
Brook Lynn: I came here because I thought everyone would be at the field. Look, I don't really feel like talking, all right?
Lucas: That is too bad because I have to say this. You already know that I like you for your talent and your mind. But I got to tell you --
Brook Lynn: But it looks like I ran away from the circus. Look, I know.
Lucas: No. No. Brook, you look totally hot.
Courtney: I told you I needed some time, Jax.
Jax: You know why I can't do that.
Courtney: Look, the bet's not fun anymore.
Jax: No, no, it stopped being about the bet a long time ago, Courtney. This is about us now, what we mean to each other and where we want this to go.
Courtney: Look, I told you -- I told you, once the bet's over, you're out of my life for good.
Jax: I don't believe that. We've changed, you and I. You know, we both thought that we were finished with the romance, that we were finished with love, but now there's hope. So Iím not giving up on you.
Jason: Durant just left.
Lorenzo: Is there any chance you're looking for me?
Carly: Sonny told you about my father.
Jason: Your father is a federal prosecutor, Carly.
Carly: Yeah, John Durant.
Jason: I just saw you with him.
Carly: He hugged me, Jason. I never thought I'd know what it was like to have my father's arms around me.
Jason: This has to end.
John: You're not hearing me. I need those files in my hotel room by 6:00 A.M. I don't care if you have to get in the damn car and drive them up here by yourself. Just do it.
Sonny: Did you really think Iíd let you get away with this?
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Dillon: You have two choices.
Brook Lynn: Who are you to tell me what I'm allowed to want?
Lois: I'm here to give you a chance to prove me right.
Jason: John Durant is a threat.
Carly: What if he wants to get to know me?
Sonny: My wife is off-limits.
John: What do you want?
