Elizabeth: I'm finally settled in, I happen to love my job, and now this.
Nikolas: I love you. No more putting this off. Say you'll marry me.
Emily: Nikolas, I -- I canít.
Brook Lynn: Ma is an attention junkie, all right? She wants Alcazar because she wanted you to worry, Dad. It's the only way that she knows how to make you care. And you do, don't you? Hey, I can tell.
Ned: This is not a conversation I want to have with my daughter.
Brook Lynn: Why? Because you're protecting me or yourself?
Ned: Brook, I still really care about your mother --
Dillon: Hey. You guys heard anything from Simon about, like, when he wants to start, or --
Ned: No, no, we haven't agreed to a date yet.
Brook Lynn: Ok, good, because I have to play around with the last verse, so --
Ned: Ok, good. Well, look, I got to leave.
Brook Lynn: Ok.
Ned: So, we'll talk more later about your two favorite parents, ok?
Brook Lynn: Mm-hmm.
Ned: All right.
Brook Lynn: Bye.
Dillon: Oh -- yeah.
Ned: Got you.
[Brook Lynn chuckles]
Brook Lynn: Yes! Ha!
Dillon: Yes, what?
Brook Lynn: Oh --
Dillon: What ha, ha, yes? What?
Brook Lynn: I think my parents are getting back together.
Lois: All of a sudden, the air isn't so fresh.
Lorenzo: Oh, no, Lois, wait. I owe you a profound apology.
Lois: Gee, I wonder why. Maybe because you used me for sex, and then pitched me out into the night like yesterday's garbage?
Lorenzo: I'm apologizing because I made a mistake. The first time I saw you, I should have walked away.
Ric: Hi. I was -- I was just getting ready to call you.
Alexis: Who's been arrested now?
Ric: Well, nobody. I -- you left here before, and I wasn't really sure how serious everything was with Kristina.
Alexis: Oh. She's fine. She's at home. They said that she could go home. She's with Viola. And they said it was just a kid thing.
Ric: So why don't you look reassured?
Alexis: It's just -- the pediatrician asked for a follow-up appointment, and I'm sure it's just maternal instinct on overdrive, but Iím worried about my daughter.
Carly: Hey --
John: I think we have some unfinished business, huh?
Carly: How did you find me?
John: One of my associates followed you from the bar. Standard procedure.
Carly: Ok. Well, now's not a very good time. I --
John: I think we got off to a bad start. I'm usually a lot nicer to people who save my life.
Carly: Oh, well, it's ok. It's honest. It's fine.
John: Look, I'd like to make it up to you. If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to come in --
Carly: Ok, listen, can I meet you at Paddy Macís in about 20 minutes?
John: You'll be there?
John: All right.
Carly: Ok. See you then.
Sonny: The shower was great.
Sonny: I was hoping maybe you were going to come back in there, you know.
Carly: Well, then you should have told me to take one first.
Sonny: Well, I -- you know -- whatever, you know?
Carly: Let me get you your shirt.
Sonny: So, who was at the front door?
Lorenzo: I didn't intend to hurt you.
Lois: Really? Well, if that was an accident, I would really hate to be around you when you're being intentionally cruel.
Lorenzo: I think you're a wonderful person, but I have nothing to offer you.
Lois: Did I ever, in our brief and getting briefer acquaintance, ever make mention that I was looking to share a mailbox with you?
Lorenzo: Of course not.
Lois: And do I seem like the type of woman who's desperate enough to set her sights on a man whose character is as shady as yours? When he's as tough on barware when he's drunk?
Lorenzo: I wasn't implying --
Lois: Then why are you trying to break it easy to me like some prom date you took home early?
Lorenzo: I'm just trying to apologize to you.
Lois: Well, save your breath, because the picture is crystal clear to me. You satisfied your curiosity, and now you want me out of your life. Well, you know what? The feeling is mutual. I have absolutely no desire to ever see you again. That one-night stand was one night too much for me.
Lorenzo: All right. Goodbye, Ms. Cerullo. I sincerely regret any pain that I have caused you.
Alexis: It's just that Kristinaís temperature has spiked twice in the past month.
Ric: Don't most kids go through periods where they seem to catch everything?
Alexis: Yes, they do. I'm sure that's probably what it is.
Ric: But you don't seem terribly convinced.
Alexis: I'm just concerned, is all.
Ric: Yeah, that's all right. It's understandable.
Alexis: You're not going to talk about how I feel and how I should not feel that way?
Ric: Well, I'm not that good of an attorney.
Helena: Why is my grandson still at large?
Ric: A good evening to you, too, Mrs. Cassadine. If you have a question about a particular case, Iíd appreciate if you show up during business hours.
Helena: Nikolas escaped from the mental institution. Now, I have papers to recommit him, and I demand that you enforce them.
Alexis: There's nothing wrong with Nikolas -- only you, for wanting your own grandson committed so you can get your hands on the inheritance.
Helena: Oh, you're wrong, as usual, Alexis. Nikolas is severely disturbed. Why else would he have shot Mary Bishop in front of the police commissioner? And if you continue to insist that he was in his right mind, you will be sending Nikolas to prison for attempted manslaughter.
Emily: We're both facing criminal charges in connection with Maryís death. You know, if we -- if we get married now, it's going to look like we're guilty.
Emily: It looks like -- it looks like we're marrying so that we can't be forced to testify against each other.
Nikolas: Well, would that be the reason?
Nikolas: No? Then who cares what people think? I love you, Emily. And I can't keep that between just the two of us anymore. Hey, I want to stand up in front of God, in front of -- in front of everyone we know and tell them how much you mean to me.
Elizabeth: Hey. You ever have one of those days where everything goes wrong?
Sam: Yep, Iíve had years like that.
Elizabeth: Oh. Then you understand. Nothing feels better than just being with a friend. Thanks for listening. See you around.
Sam: This isn't fair.
Jason: What? What are you talking about?
Sam: What? This. Us. Jason, this arrangement -- I can't do this anymore.
John: Think you can light a fire under the lab? I need those forensics reports right away.
Man: You mean these?
John: You do nice work, doc.
Man: You said it was a top priority.
John: All right. Give me the broad strokes.
Man: I already did. D.N.A. tests show that you and Carly are related. I can't get any more specific without a sample of her mother's D.N.A.
John: I guess it's up to me.
Man: What do you have in mind?
John: Well, I'm going to meet Carly here. I'm going to get her to talk; find out how we're related. And then Iím going to use her to put Sonny Corinthos behind bars.
Sonny: So are you going to tell me who was at the front door?
Carly: Oh, it was just housekeeping. They wanted to know if our minibar needed restocking.
Sonny: Oh. And you sent her away? I was dying for a cream soda.
Carly: Oh, I'm sorry. You know what? I'll tell them to send one up on my way out.
Sonny: Well, where are you going?
Carly: I changed my mind about shopping.
Carly: There's this new French dress shop in Soho. I wanted to check it out. Don't worry. Don't worry, Sonny. I'm not going to ask you to come with me.
Sonny: Well, thank you.
Carly: You're welcome.
Sonny: Before you go --
Carly: Hmm? What are you -- Sonny, I have cards. I've got credit cards. I don't need a check. But thank you.
Sonny: Just -- look at that.
Carly: Whoa -- $50,000?
Sonny: It's for your father. That's where you're going, isn't it?
Alexis: Mary Bishop had already killed two people and attacked three others. Nikolas was simply defending his fiancťe and himself.
Helena: Are you planning to have him plead self-defense?
Alexis: I'm not going to try this case in front of you. Why am I going to try this case --?
Helena: Well, you're not going to try this case at all. I'll have the commitment papers faxed to your office. You can detain Nikolas in the morning.
Ric: Um -- Mrs. Cassadine, I suggest you contact your attorneys, because Nikolas was free to walk out of Shadybrook a full 24 hours before he actually did. Now, someone -- I'm guessing it was Emilyís brother -- called in a favor to Judge Pinsker and got your commitment papers revoked. You and the staff of Shadybrook could be prosecuted for false imprisonment if you continue to pursue this issue.
Alexis: That would be your cue to leave.
Helena: Would you rather see Nikolas spend a few months in a mental facility or years in prison?
Alexis: I'm quite certain Nikolas will be acquitted. But even years in prison would be better than living under your rule.
Helena: I will not be denied.
Ric: Interesting lady. But you do realize you just handed me Nikolas' head on a silver platter.
Emily: There's no question that I want to marry you -- today, this minute. But there's so many things that could go wrong.
Nikolas: Name one.
Emily: We could get arrested before we even make it down the aisle, Nikolas.
Nikolas: We won't -- we won't -- that's not going to happen, ok? Listen to me. Everything about our wedding is going to be perfect. Perfect, ok? No bodies will fall out of the ceiling; no cosmetically altered relatives will show up back from the dead, ok? No aliens, clones, bomb scares, death threats, murder attempts, and fires. And if anyone tries to object, then pow -- I break their jaw. Ok? So is there anything that I haven't covered?
Emily: I think you said it all.
Nikolas: Good. Good, so let's make this official. Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen. Please, gather around, just for a second, please. Please -- thank you. I need some witnesses here, so just gather around. Stand up.
Emily: Nikolas --
Nikolas: Stand up, stand up.
Emily: What are you doing?
Nikolas: Will you marry me?
Nikolas: What? I'm sorry, one more time. I didn't hear you. What did you say?
Nikolas: What? Huh?
Emily: I'll marry you.
Nikolas: There you go, ladies and gentlemen, you heard her; you heard her. She can't change her mind now.
Nikolas: We're going to have a wonderful life, you know that?
Sam: Just taking care of me and the baby is keeping you from having a life of your own, and I can't let that happen.
Jason: Well, why don't you --
Sam: Jason, you deserve so much more.
Jason: Why don't you let me worry about that, instead of you worrying about it?
Sam: Because you're not. You're going to put the baby first.
Jason: Maybe that's what I want.
Sam: What about romance? Finding some beautiful, wonderful woman to spend the rest of your life with? What about that?
Jason: That's not going to happen.
Sam: It might. I mean, you have to stay open to the -- wait a minute. Have you -- have you given up on the idea of falling in love?
Brook Lynn: My parents love each other, Dillon. They always have, all right? But now their only obstacle is the Quartermaines. No offense, you know.
Dillon: No, no, none taken. I've dealt with the family myself a few times.
Brook Lynn: Yeah, but things are different now because I'm grown up, and my ma doesn't have to protect me from them. Now my parents are free to get back together.
Dillon: I -- yeah, you know, like, I've seen how your parents act, ok? And you know how they act? They act exactly like two people who used to be married.
Brook Lynn: Mm-hmm. That is right, and you know why? Because they were protecting themselves until now. They're falling in love again, Dillon, and I can see it in their eyes.
Dillon: Ok, you don't -- you don't think that's wishful thinking, just a little bit?
Brook Lynn: Some of it, yeah, probably, but -- I know Iíve never told you this before, but I want my parents back together. And I have since, like, forever.
Dillon: I know, I know, and I don't, like -- I don't mean to be the voice of doom at all. And if it's, like, a go, then Iím totally all for it. I mean, come on. But you don't think that you might be doing to your parents what you accuse your mom of doing to you?
Brook Lynn: No, I'm not telling them how to --
Dillon: Brook --
Brook Lynn: I'm not telling them how to live.
Dillon: That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying, like, you don't think you might be forcing them into something that they don't want to be forced into?
Brook Lynn: No. My father told me that he still cares about my mother. I didn't pressure him in -- Dillon, he practically volunteered it.
Dillon: Yes, yes. But caring is, like, a long way from falling in love with again.
Brook Lynn: Maybe not as far as you think. Dillon, not everything has to end in misery, all right? Sometimes, people get what they want.
Ned: I'm glad I found you. We've got a problem.
Lois: Don't worry. I've officially blasted Lorenzo Alcazar out of my life.
Ned: Actually, this isn't about him. This is about our daughter.
Lois: What happened to Brookie?
Ned: Oh, no, she's fine. Nothing's wrong -- physically. She has this idea that you and I are going to, you know, get back together again.
Lois: Since when? She knows that you and I are amicably and irrevocably divorced.
Ned: Well, she sees us living in the same town, working together, and even enjoying each other's company. So I guess she's convinced herself that we're going to get back together.
Lois: When you look at it that way, seems like a reasonable conclusion to jump to. Maybe our Brookie's on to something?
Sonny: It's only natural, you know, you'd want to see your father again.
Carly: Sonny, are you mad at me for lying?
Sonny: Well, you know what? I guess you figured that Iíd want to come with you and look out for you, and I know that this is something you're going to have to deal with on your own.
Carly: Thank you. Sonny, this experience -- it's been so surreal. I don't even know how to feel about it.
Sonny: Well, you know what? That's -- that's going to take years, you know? One day, you know, you'll wish you never met your father. The next day, you're telling him all about who you are, what -- I -- look -- that money -- I think that will at least give you some peace.
Carly: Thanks. But, Sonny, let me find another way to find peace. And I don't want the money to come from you.
Sonny: The money -- it comes from us. If the positions were reversed, I'd do the same thing.
Carly: Thank you. Thank you. All right. I understand if you want to go home. You don't have to wait for me, you know.
Sonny: No -- I'll wait for you. I'll wait right here for you.
Sonny: All right.
Carly: I'll try not to be too late, ok?
Sonny: All right.
Carly: All right. Ok.
Sonny: Hey -- hey --
Sonny: Don't forget this.
John: Yeah, you can't be too careful. I've made a lot of enemies in my job. You know -- thanks, Charlie -- I keep thinking what might have happened if you hadn't been there to stop that gunman.
Carly: You like scaring yourself?
John: Well, I'm in no hurry to die, if that's what you mean. And I'd hate to breathe my last breath thinking that the guy who killed me considered it a victory. It sends a message to the next prosecutor who's trying to bring down organized crime.
Carly: Well, I don't know if Iíve met anyone more devoted to their work.
John: I believe in what I do. My work is my life.
Carly: And you've got no regrets about that?
John: Well, I told you, sometimes I miss having a family.
Carly: Did something happen since the last time we met? Because I can't help but think that you're being nice to me for a reason.
Sonny: Tell Morales that's my final offer. If he doesn't like it, then I'll take my business elsewhere.
[Knock on door]
Sonny: Got to go. Who is it?
Maid: Housekeeping. Time to turn down your bed.
Sonny: I think we've actually already taken care of that.
Maid: Chocolate mint for your pillow, sir?
Sonny: Chocolate mint? Yeah, ok. That's -- that's -- you know how to get to me. Hi.
Maid: Hi. I'll be out of your way in a minute.
Sonny: All right.
Maid: Have a nice evening.
Sonny: Oh -- not so fast.
Ned: So whatever happens between us, it has to be our decision. We can't let Brook pressure us either way.
Lois: So then I suggest we remind her how much we love her and make sure she understands that you and I -- we are happily divorced.
Ned: Well, I think we should add one more thing.
Lois: Not to be like us? That -- tell her when you finally get married; make sure it's to last?
Ned: Actually, I was thinking that maybe we should tell her once again that we didn't break up because of her. That there's no reason that she should feel guilty about what happened.
Lois: Well, do you think she does?
Ned: I don't know. Would we still be together if we never had a child?
Lois: You know, I never wanted to go there.
Ned: Come on. It had to have crossed your mind.
Lois: No, it didnít. And you know what? Even when it did try to get into my mind, I gave it a swift kick right out of there.
Ned: I think that's called avoidance.
Lois: No, it's called motherhood. Because I never would ever think of a world without our Brookie.
Ned: Yeah. Ok. I'll buy that. But I guarantee you, Brook has given this plenty of thought.
Lois: Well, then I say we need to set her straight, let her know that we have had too many differences. Namely, your family.
Ned: Yeah. Well, that wasn't all. Remember? You wanted Eddie Maine. I just wasn't enough.
Lois: Do we really need to rehash that? Because I think it was tough and painful enough the first time.
Ned: Yeah, you're right. All that really matters is how we present this to Brook Lynn.
Lois: Right. And I think the best way is always to be honest. So I say we just flat out tell her there's no chance of us ever getting back together.
Ned: Yeah. None.
Ric: You're going to get a light or suspended sentence for Nikolas, but you're not going to get him acquitted. No way.
Alexis: Not if I plead diminished capacity.
Ric: Oh, so Iím supposed to ignore that entire conversation that you just had with Helena, where you said he's supposedly sane?
Alexis: Sane now. Not necessarily at the time of the murder.
Ric: Oh, I see. So it's selective insanity, right? That's very convenient, not to mention it's impossible to prove. Alexis, we do not have to go to trial here. All you have to do is you have to convince Nikolas to take treatment for a couple of years --
Ric: It's an outpatient basis.
Alexis: No -- if he goes into that mental facility, she will literally drug him and have him brainwashed.
Ric: Well, I'm not going to suppress Macís testimony. He is going to walk in there, he's going to tell that jury that Nikolas grabbed his gun and shot Mary Bishop point-blank. That is attempted manslaughter, at the very least. If I wanted to, I could push for second-degree murder.
Alexis: Nikolas is innocent, and he can still go free -- if you're willing to cooperate.
Emily: He gathered everyone around, and he asked them to listen while he proposed. Elizabeth, if I wasn't so happy, I think I'd be totally embarrassed.
Nikolas: Well -- yeah, what can I say? I was inspired.
Elizabeth: Congratulations. This is so wonderful!
Nikolas: Oh, thank you. Ahem.
Elizabeth: Oh -- Emmy.
Emily: So, I want to start planning the wedding right away. And, of course, I'm hoping that you'll be my maid of honor.
Elizabeth: Oh, gee, if only I had known sooner.
Nikolas: Gee, what -- what are you talking about?
Elizabeth: Well, I was thinking about retiling my bathroom, and maybe I have -- of course Iíll be your maid of honor! We all know who your best man will be.
Emily: Yeah. Lucky.
Jason: I don't -- you know, I don't like to talk about this stuff, ok? But as far as relationships go, it's better that Iím not in one.
Sam: Well, that's just because you haven't met the right person. But you will. You just --
Jason: No, I --
Sam: You got to give yourself a chance, that's all.
Jason: I'm not what people want me to be.
Jason: And that's not going to change, Sam, ok?
Sam: Come on, Jason. You're enough. Ok? You are kind, you're strong, you're great with kids. Not much for small talk. And when it comes to expressing your feelings, you need a little help. But overall, you're a definite catch. Ow.
Jason: What's the matter?
Sam: I don't know. It feels like -- I think I'm going into labor or something.
Sonny: You a cop? Huh? What have you got? You got anything here? Oh. What do we got here? Federal agent. Oh, nice. This guy your boss? You tell Mr. Durant that he's going to have to work a hell of a lot harder to get anything on me. Get out of here!
John: Most of my day is, is spent on crimes, the people who commit them. It's -- it can be grueling work, turn a man's heart to stone, so I thought now that I have the opportunity, maybe I can put some humanity back in my life.
Carly: And that's it? No other reason you're being so nice to me?
John: Well, there is one. I figure since you're basing a character in your book on me, I want to make sure the guy's a winner.
Carly: Well, I can't see how he'd be anything else.
John: Well, thank you. All right, so any other questions?
Carly: Hmm. Well, these criminals that you prosecute, do you ever think about them having lives of their own?
Carly: No? So they're, what, so they're just, what, case numbers? They're just --
John: No, no --
Carly: Names on a police report, is that it?
John: No, they're racketeers. They're professional criminals, they intimidate people, they threaten people, and they prey on the weaknesses of others. What else do I need to know?
Carly: Well, you know, sometimes people commit crimes for various reasons. Sometimes there are extenuating circumstances.
John: No. No, no, no, no. No, I don't think there are. I don't believe in it.
Carly: Ok. So the wives and the children of these people -- does it bother you that you might be hurting them, too?
John: Well, the children are victims of their parents' choices. The fact that a mobster has kids doesn't make him any less guilty.
Carly: Thank you. Thank you for your time.
John: What --
Carly: I've got all that -- that I need.
John: We're through?
John: That's it?
Carly: That's it.
John: All right.
Carly: I'm really glad that we met.
Nikolas: So -- so, yeah, you know, I was thinking about life and how important it is to make every day count. You know?
Emily: And one thing we've both learned is that everything can change in a minute.
Nikolas: Right, right, so I -- so instead of, you know, waiting for what you want, I think it's -- I think it's what -- what?
Lucky: Well, I just wish you -- if you got something to tell me, I wish you would both just say it.
Nikolas: I proposed to Emily again.
Emily: And we're going to be married very soon.
Lucky: Congratulations. I wish you all the best.
Emily: Oh. Thank you, Lucky. No one ever had a friend as good as you.
Nikolas: Thanks. Well, listen, there's only -- there's only one thing that would make this moment better than it is and that's if you'll be my best man.
Lucky: Of course I will. I want you both to be happy.
Nikolas: Thank you.
Alexis: I am not asking you to throw this case. I'm just asking you to have a little compassion while trying it.
Ric: Right, so just throw a few softball questions up in the air; fail to object when you put words in a witness' mouth?
Alexis: You know very well that Nikolas is not a killer. He acted in an understandable moment of passion!
Ric: That does not matter here! The fact is it is still against the law for one person to shoot another person.
Alexis: There is more to a case than just facts. There is the law and then there is the spirit of the law.
Alexis: Don't you think that Nikolas and Emily have suffered enough at the hands of Mary Bishop? Do you think they deserve to suffer any more?
Ric: Look, just save it for your summation, counselor. There's no way I can do what you're asking.
Sam: There must be something wrong. It's way too early to be in labor.
Monica: Uh-uh, the worst you can do is jump to conclusions. Now, Iíve alerted Dr. Meadows. She's going to be waiting for you.
Sam: Thank you.
Monica: Would you take her to Room Eight. Thank you. Jason, can I talk to you please?
Jason: Yeah. Sam, Iíll be right there.
Monica: Uh -- I don't know if you've heard, but Edward had a heart attack.
Jason: How -- how serious?
Monica: He's -- he's going to be fine, but he's going to be here for a couple of days. The -- the family is off-limits to see him, but I'm sure that Felicia would make an exception in your behalf.
Jason: Well, I -- I don't -- what's Felicia have to do with it?
Monica: Oh, Jason. It's complicated, but then again, all Quartermaine politics are complicated. I'll check on Sam.
Tracy: Not very virtuous to lie to your mother. You know all about Feliciaís job as judge of who inherits.
Jason: I don't know what you're talking about.
Tracy: Don't act stupid -- it's redundant. This is just a maneuver on your part. You want to get my mother's money.
Carly: Hey, Sonny. You know, you told me not to get my hopes up --
Sonny: I want to hear everything that happened. We got to get out of here.
Carly: What -- Sonny, what happened?
Sonny: You know that federal prosecutor I was telling you about? John Durant?
Sonny: He's after me.
Emily: You're supposed to wait until we're married.
Nikolas: I thought a couple dry runs couldn't hurt, and I just might take you over every threshold in the house, just because I can.
Nikolas: Emily and I are getting married. Don't expect an invitation.
Helena: Well, you know how I feel on the subject.
Nikolas: And I couldn't care less.
Helena: Marrying Emily will only bring you misery.
Nikolas: Goodbye, grandmother. Go back to Greece, please. Thank you. Goodbye.
Helena: Nikolas -- Nikolas, I'm your only family. I'm all you have left.
Nikolas: You locked me in a mental institution and tried to drug me into loving you, and it didn't work. And you know what, it never will. Don't come back. You have no place in my life.
Brook Lynn: Hey!
Brook Lynn: If you guys want to be alone, I can get out of here. I can --
Lois: No, honey. Actually, we're here to see you.
Brook Lynn: Really? About what?
Lois: Your father tells me that you think there's a chance we're going to get back together.
Brook Lynn: What can I say? I'm an intuitive person.
Lois: Well, not this time. This time, your intuition is wrong. Honey, we love you -- more than breathing.
Ned: But, sweetie, we're not getting back together again.
Brook Lynn: But you just told me that -- that you cared about Mom.
Ned: I do, and I always will. But our marriage has been over for years now.
Brook Lynn: What happened? Did he find you with your lowlife boyfriend again?
Lois: Mr. Alcazar has nothing to do with this.
Brook Lynn: Then why are you being so stupid?
Lois: Brookie, please --
Brook Lynn: No. Guys, just leave me alone. We could have been perfect; like a family. But you guys are so busy running from each other; you can't stop to see what you're throwing away.
Ned: Brook --
Brook Lynn: No, stop!
Tracy: You treat your parents like strangers, but you always made time for your grandmother, setting her up so she'll leave you everything.
Jason: Don't talk about her that way. What's wrong with you?
Tracy: She's my mother, and I will talk about her any way I like. And while I'm at it, let me tell you that this selfless savage act of yours is beginning to wear really thin. You are not generous and giving. All you care about is yourself, and whose kneecaps you're going to break next.
Sam: You spiteful witch. You're probably jealous because Lila loved Jason a whole hell of a lot more than she'll ever love you.
Tracy: Oh. Well, that settles it. The town pump has spoken.
Sam: Well, at least I won't abandon my child the way you did yours.
Jason: Sam, just stay out of this.
Sam: No, I don't have to stand here and take orders from the -- from the witch here.
Jason: Tracy, leave.
Tracy: Well, I don't take orders from the family disgrace.
Sam: You're the one who's the disgrace!
Jason: Just go away!
Sam: Who do you think you're talking to? No, no, on second thought, why don't you stay, because I would love to watch Jason boot your scary butt to the elevator.
Tracy: I am so grateful that baby you're carrying isn't a Quartermaine after all.
Jason: Sit down.
Jason: Be quiet.
Sam: Why should I?
Jason: Because -- we came in thinking you were in labor. You didn't even tell me what happened.
Sam: They were the Braxton-Hicks contractions, only a little bit more severe than normal. Everything is fine. I overreacted. I'm sorry.
Jason: Ok. You're pregnant. You shouldn't be fighting with anyone.
Sam: Oh, come on. Trust me, it felt great to tell Tracy where to stick it. How dare she?
Jason: I don't need you defending me.
Sam: No, no, no. Don't you stand here and give me a lecture on how Iím not supposed to get excited, and it's bad for the baby. Jason, come on.
Jason: Ok, Sam, it's not only about the baby. I'm concerned about you.
Emily: You need to stop. From now on, Iím declaring this a no-brooding zone.
Nikolas: My grandmother won't give up. She'll try and stop us from getting married. You know that.
Emily: But we aren't going to let her, are we?
Emily: No, this isn't the time to be thinking about Helena. Tonight belongs to us alone.
Helena: Oh, Ms. Quartermaine. Or do you prefer "Tracy"?
Tracy: What Iíd prefer is not to have to talk to you.
Helena: Well, I suggest that you reconsider, because I believe we could be of use to one another.
Tracy: Really? How?
Helena: My grandson Nikolas has plans to marry Emily.
Tracy: Oh. Again?
Helena: Yes. And I imagine that the Quartermaines would be as opposed to this marriage as the Cassadines, so I suggest that we work together to keep it from taking place.
Sonny: Durant must have a system of informants. He knew I was in town. He sent an agent to bug the room.
Carly: What did you do?
Sonny: It was a woman posing as a maid. I threw her out. I told her to send my regards to her boss.
Carly: This -- Sonny -- this is a disaster. What are we --?
Sonny: No, listen to me. It's not -- listen -- Durantís -- he's got enough, you know, to keep him busy in Manhattan. This -- this is probably just a one-time thing. We'll just -- we'll go home, and, you know, he won't bother me again.
John: Corinthos made the agent that we sent to his room. Found the bug; sent it back with his regards.
Man: Ok, so what happens now?
John: I want you to go to Port Charles. I want you to dig up everything -- anything and everything you can find about Sonny Corinthos, and then we're going after him with everything we have.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Alexis: You haven't looked at the most obvious suspect -- Alcazar.
Lorenzo: Is there a reason why Ms. Davis is here?
Sonny: Jason took you to the hospital?
Sam: Yeah, yeah, it was no big deal --
Sonny: Did it occur to either of you to call me?
Jason: Back off Sam a little bit.
Man: I'm watching Carly Corinthos as we speak.
