Doctor: Get out of the way. Check the pulse.

Nikolas: We heard the Code Blue. What happened?

Lucky: She was doing ok, and then she stopped breathing.

Doctor: She's in V-Tach. We're going to have to shock her.

Sam: You know, for two guys who work so closely together, you and Sonny are nothing alike.

Jason: No reason we should be.

Sam: Yeah, I know. I -- I guess it's the way you're different that impresses me. Sonny thinks he owns people, and you encourage them to be themselves.

Jason: It's easier.

Sam: On everyone. Jason, thank you. Thank you for everything that you have done for me. And I -- I just want you to know that I have never felt so protected in my life.

Jason: That's good.

Sam: I know you care about this baby, but I also know you care about me. As her mother, ok? Don't get all --

Jason: Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Sam: Oh --

Jason: I got to check on some things, ok?

Sam: Jason, why do you -- why do you keep running away from me?

Faith: No matter how close I am, you always keep a part of yourself to yourself.

Justus: You know how attorneys are. We're supposed to be inscrutable.

Faith: And charming. But I can see through it. Something haunts you. After tonight -- after you help me get away, I may never know what it is.

[Gun cocks]

Justus: Mr. Corinthos. I see you found us.

Sonny: You think I wouldn't, Justus?

Justus: Let's see. You murder us here both in cold blood. Maybe a couple months from now, maybe even years, our bodies turn up in this -- in this hidden room, and the Cassadines get blamed. No, no -- maybe even an overzealous cop. Maybe even you. Who knows? Bottom line is you get away with murder once again.

Sonny: I like the way you think. I always have. But only one of you has to die tonight. How you doing, Faith? I'm going to let you do the honors.

Carly: So what about family? Um -- you have a wife? Children?

John: Haven't you done your homework?

Carly: You never ask a question if you don't know the answer.

John: Teach you that in law school?

Carly: Yeah. Love -- when was the first time you fell? Was it early or later on in life?

John: Where did you say you're going to school?

Carly: Why? Does it matter?

John: Why don't you tell me who you really are and what you want.

Carly: Look -- look, Mr. Durant, I really -- I really admire what you've done here in New York City. And I love your commitment to cleaning up crime, but I should have been more straightforward when I first met you --

John: Hey, it doesn't matter. I figured out who you are.

Carly: You have?

John: And I know exactly what you're doing here.

 [Monitor beeps]

Doctor: Charging. All clear.

Nurse: Clear.

Doctor: Up it to 300 joules. Charging. All clear.

Nurse: Clear!

[Monitor flatlines]

Sam: What was I thinking? Telling you I'm glad you're a part of my life. I should know better than to say that, even if it's true. I'm just going to sit here and -- and read my baby books and be glad that I have a place to live, even though you think I知 a total slut

Jason: Don't -- don't talk like that.

Sam: Well, it's true, Jason. And who can blame you for thinking that? I mean, I was with Jax and Sonny within, like, five seconds of each other. And then -- I mean, I was obviously with Jax for the money, right? And then moved on to Sonny when he wasn't generous enough.

Jason: You love Sonny.

Sam: Yeah.

Jason: You know what, Sam? Your life would be easier if you left town.

Sam: Ok. So what are you saying? You -- do you want me to go? Is that it?

Jason: No. I want you to stay if you want to.

Sam: Oh, stay? Why, so I can -- I can sink my claws into you? I couldn't trap Sonny by getting pregnant with his kid, so I'm going to settle for you, right?

Jason: No, you're doing what's best for the baby.

Sam: Yeah, well, nobody believes that.

Jason: What are you talking about? You're staying here and I can see how much it's killing you. You want Sonny to know his daughter. You're trying to create the best life you can for yourself and your baby. Come on, Sam; I've seen you with Danny. I know the sacrifices that you've made. Your brother's the most important thing in your life so far, right?

Sam: Yeah. Yes, he is, absolutely.

Jason: So, if -- if all you really wanted was money, you would have stayed with Jax. And if you wanted Sonny at any cost, you would try to break up his family. But you're not. Look, you made a tough choice. But you're sticking with it, and I do respect that.

Sam: You do?

Jason: I don't care what anyone says. Nobody's going to tell me who you are. I already know.

Sonny: What's the problem, Justus? You don't understand the deal? You take care of Faith; I'll forget you betrayed me.

Faith: You're as crazy as everyone says you are.

Sonny: She's going to die, anyway. You know what I mean? So you get to decide whether you want to die with her.

Justus: You want me to -- you want to kill an injured woman who can't even defend herself?

Sonny: That's up to you!

Justus: You'd be in jail right now if it wasn't for me!

Sonny: Probably. You are a great lawyer, I will give you that. Maybe even better than Alexis. Up until now, you've been easier to deal with. But you are helping my enemy! It's not good! I'm offering you a way out.

Justus: Faith and I could disappear.

Sonny: Don't you understand? You help her get away; she's going to kill you for your troubles. And then she's going to come after me and my family!

Justus: I suppose that could happen.

Faith: No --

Sonny: Yeah, that's --

Faith: That would never happen.

Justus: Hypothetically speaking, let's say I kill Faith. What makes me think you won't pull that trigger?

Sonny: You're going to have to trust me -- or you're not going to trust me.

Faith: Don't -- don't trust him.

Sonny: Decide what you want to do. Just think, you know -- a matter of seconds, you won't have to listen to that mouth again. That should be enough to make you pick up that knife! Now, listen to me. You kill Faith; you get out of here alive! If you don't --

Justus: Don't ever ask me to do your dirty work.

Sonny: Oh, I understand. I won't make you watch me kill her.

Faith: No, no, no! No, Sonny! No, no, don't do it! Don't do it! Don't hurt -- ah!

Ric: Oh --

[Faith pants]

Ric: Looks like I got here just in time.

Faith: Oh, God. Thank God.

Ric: Oh, you're happy to see the cops, is that right? Never thought I'd hear that.

Justus: How'd you find us?

Ric: My big brother finally came through.

Carly: So what do you think I知 doing here?

John: You never set foot in a law school, I can tell you that.

Carly: Yeah, but I've got a lot of experience with the law.

John: For it or against it?

Carly: Are you always this suspicious?

John: Well, you haven't bothered to do your research. You're asking a lot of personal questions.

Carly: Yeah, well, maybe I want to hear what you have to say.

John: In my own words.

Carly: Yeah, exactly. Listen, I want to know the real man, not a guy who's in this newspaper. Anyway, I just saved your life. Doesn't that entitle me to a couple of personal questions?

John: How do I know you didn't stage the whole damn thing?

Carly: It's a little elaborate, don't you think?

John: People have gone to great lengths to get close to me.

Carly: I am not one of those people.

John: You're the new political reporter for the "Dispatch," right?

Carly: I'm not a reporter.

John: Then why don't you tell me what you really want?

Doctor: Time of death, 18:43.

John: Are you in some kind of trouble?

Carly: What, you mean, do I need a favor?

John: I might be able to help.

Carly: Ok, listen, I'm going to confess. I am not a law student. I'm not. I'm a novelist, and I -- I知 basing a character on you.

John: Well, why haven't you done your homework?

Carly: Because I want to hear what you have to say. I want to keep an open mind about all of this.

John: All right. Tell me about this character.

Carly: Ok. Um -- well, he -- he's a federal prosecutor, right? He's -- he's traveled around a lot growing up, so he's not really from anywhere. He -- he's smart and he's ambitious. And so that brings him to New York City. Because he wants to make a name for himself. And -- I don't know -- he likes danger. And he likes -- he likes excitement. And, I don't know, he's charming. And he's charismatic -- loaded with charisma, right? The women all love him.

John: Well, you left out clean, brave, and reverent.

Carly: But my character is a real family man. He's just caught in a dangerous job. He doesn't look back, right, or dwell on the past. And he expects a lot from himself and from others. And once he decides that he wants something, he goes for it. There's no standing in his way. Nothing's going to stop him. What do you think?

John: You print a word of that; I値l sue you back to the Stone Age.

Carly: Yeah -- I -- I didn't mean to offend you, Mr. Durant.

John: I have work.

Carly: I'm just -- it's what --

Sam: I could use a stiff drink, please.

Mike: The usual?

Sam: Yeah, I'm afraid so.

Mike: Ok. Yeah. So, how's it going?

Sam: Well, you mean besides the back pain, the swollen ankles, and the mood swings that make me more difficult than usual? I'm --

Mike: Yeah, yeah, yeah, besides them.

Sam: Great.

Mike: Hey! Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: Hey.

Mike: So you finished at the hospital already?

Elizabeth: Yeah, I just picked up Cameron from the daycare center, and I'm going to grab a quick bite to eat.

Mike: Ok, I'll be right back.

Elizabeth: Ok.

[Speaking baby talk]

Sam: Hi.

Elizabeth: Hi. How's it going?

Sam: Would it -- would it be completely rude to ask if I could see your baby?

Elizabeth: No, not at all. This is my son, Cameron.

Sam: Oh, he is so amazing. Hi.

Elizabeth: Thank you.

Sam: They grow really fast, don't they?

Elizabeth: Well, sometimes it's a little scary.

Sam: Oh, gosh.

Elizabeth: Say hi, baby.

Sam: I know. Wow.

Elizabeth: So when are you due?

Sam: November.

Elizabeth: Oh, congratulations.

Sam: Thanks.

Elizabeth: So would it be completely rude of me to ask what's going on with you and Jason?

Ric: This way, please. Sergeant, I'd like you to rebook this woman right here on attempted murder and escape and unlawful flight. Book him as an accessory, aiding and abetting. That should get us started.

Sonny: Hey, Ric.

Ric: Oh. Thanks for the tip.

Sonny: Well, I try to help when I can.

Ric: I never would have found them without you.

Sonny: Don't you just hate that?

Jason: Sonny. Sonny, let's go.

Sonny: How'd you know Faith had been arrested?

Jason: I was on my way to Spoon Island to take care of her. And I saw that the cops already showed up.

Sonny: So you were going to do the job?

Jason: Just like you ordered.

Sonny: How'd you know where to look for her?

Jason: Justus, last time I saw him, was on a pier. I figured, you know, Spoon Island痴 the only place he could be hiding her.

Sonny: Yeah, I thought the same thing. They told me a long time ago about a room in the tunnels under Wyndemere, so I called Ric and told him where to look.

Jason: Well, why?

Sonny: I wanted to test Justus. See how far he'd go to protect Faith.

Jason: And?

Sonny: He's willing to die for her. And that's a problem because she has to go. And when she does, he's going to want revenge on whoever kills her.

Faith: I forced him to help me escape. I held a gun on him.

Ric: Yeah, you pulled a gun on Justus at the Quartermaines'?

Faith: Yes, that's right, ok? He came down to check on me in the freezer. He didn't know I had another gun.

Ric: Uh-huh. And that's when you dragged him to that secret room at Wyndemere?

Faith: Yes. He was a hostage, not an accomplice.

Ric: I see.

Faith: Look, you may as well just let him go.

Sonny: You agree Faith has to be eliminated?

Jason: Absolutely.

Sonny: And you're willing to arrange it?

Jason: Tonight, if necessary.

Sonny: Even it means killing Justus?

Jason: I'll do what I have to do.

Sonny: All right, listen. Ric might be willing to drop the charges on Justus and set him loose on the chance that I might try to kill him.

Jason: Ok, so what does that mean? We can't go near Justus?

Sonny: Not now, but he will be dealt with eventually. If Faith hides, he's going to have to be eliminated.

Jason: I don't -- I don't see the connection.

Sonny: Because you don't want to see it. He was willing to -- he was willing to die for Faith, like I would for Carly; like you still would for Courtney. If some -- if somebody killed her -- if somebody came to you with proof that she deserved to die, you would stop at nothing to try to get revenge.

Jason: Yeah, but we're not talking about Courtney, we're talking about Faith.

Sonny: But he doesn't see it! Because he's so -- he's so caught up in his guilt and his sick kind of love that he can't see why Faith needs to be eliminated.

Jason: Sonny, I -- I know I said it before. He got you out of prison. I just think we owe him one chance. Just one to walk away from this.

Sonny: I don't like -- no, the truth is I don't really want Justus to die. He's your family. Why do you think I went to Spoon Island? Because I didn't want you to go. Because then you would have to see for yourself how much he's protecting Faith, and then you'd have to kill him. I didn't want you to carry that. Unless it's necessary. But I want you to understand it probably will be.

Elizabeth: Feel free to tell me to mind my own business.

Sam: No, no, why shouldn't you ask? After all, Jason and I are living together. But it is nothing romantic, and it never will be. Jason and I are together for the sake of the baby, because -- well, he's so great with them, and I知 just not.

Elizabeth: Ok.

Sam: I know that you and Jason used to date or something. And if you're interested in him, please -- I'm sorry. But feel free. I -- I知 just his roommate. And I hardly even see him.

Elizabeth: Yeah. And that makes it all the more intense.

Sam: Excuse me?

Elizabeth: Why don't you sit down? You know, he's there for a couple of hours and then he disappears. And you know he's doing something dangerous, but he doesn't talk about it. And you're just so happy to see him alive, it doesn't really matter.

Sam: I'm not -- I知 not happy. I mean, I'm -- I知 -- ahem -- I'm -- I知 happy that he's not dead.

Elizabeth: Hmm.

Sam: In the objective sense. It is not anything romantic.

Elizabeth: Mm-hmm. Yeah, I told myself the same thing at first. That we were just friends; we were just helping each other out. I kind of saved his life once. I found him bleeding in the snow and I hid him out for weeks, but it didn't mean I was in love with him.

Sam: Are you? Were -- were you? I -- no, I知 sorry, I didn't -- I didn't mean it like that or --

Elizabeth: That's ok, that's ok. I wanted to love Jason. I don't know, maybe I did.

[Cameron coos]

Elizabeth: Oh. But, you know, at the same time, he just -- he scares me -- the way he lives, the things he can do. I mean, come on, he doesn't talk about it, but the guy kills people, which is bad enough. But the flip side is he could wind up dead at any moment, and he likes it that way. The whole thing was just way more than I could deal with, and he knew it. Oh, yeah, and then -- and then there was Courtney. Now, that's who you need to worry about.

Sam: No. No, I -- I don't. I mean, I'm not falling in love with him.

Elizabeth: Oh. Well, that's probably good, because the way he lives, it'll break your heart.

Officer: Don't touch.

Justus: That was some nice work. Calling the D.A. like that.

Sonny: Thank you.

Justus: I didn't think I was going to get out of Wyndemere alive.

Sonny: You didn't. Neither did Faith. Lansing's going to lock you up for years so he can collect his headlines. You know, terrible things happen in prison. It's sad. It's such a disgrace.

Justus: I see.

Sonny: Faith is over.

Justus: What about me?

Sonny: What about you? You -- you -- look, hey, you helped out a woman who put out a hit on me. What do you expect me to do? You're no longer under my protection.

Ric: Justus, I have good news for you. I'm dropping all the charges against you.

Coleman: What's up?

Carly: How the hell did you get in here?

Coleman: You got to ask?

Carly: Ok, get the hell off my bed. Get.

Coleman: Ease on the threads, baby. You know, daddy here's a busy man.

Carly: Yeah, well, he may not be my father.

Coleman: This -- I know. I mean, he -- this cat is one regular crime-fighting institution. Ambitious. Check this out. "Today New York City, tomorrow the rest of the world." That's impressive. I mean, it says so -- says so right here.

Carly: God, I need to think.

Coleman: Yeah, I bet you do, babe. I bet you do. What's old Sonny boy going to say when he finds out your daddy's his worst nightmare, huh?

 [Nikolas sighs]

Nikolas: A woman just died reaching out to me. And I should feel something, but I don't -- not even anger.

Emily: Yeah, anger, I can do. Mary just killed two people, and then she came after me.

Nikolas: Come here. I couldn't let that happen again.

Emily: Mary was crazy.

Nikolas: Yeah, maybe I am, too. I grabbed a cop's gun and -- and shot her. Is that a -- is that a rational thing to do?

Emily: You couldn't just let her walk away.

Nikolas: And still, I should feel something, shouldn't I? I mean, she probably saved my life.

Emily: She lied to you about who you were.

Nikolas: She'd be all right if Connor hadn't died in the war.

[Emily sighs]

Emily: That doesn't justify what she did.

Nikolas: No, I know. I'm not -- and I知 not defending her. I'm just saying if I -- if I壇 have listened to Mac and let her go, or taken her hand just now, maybe she would be alive. I don't know.

Emily: Nikolas, please, don't put yourself through this.

Nikolas: No, I just -- Emily, I -- I shot a woman, and she died reaching out to me, and I just stood there. What kind of a man just stands there? Come here. Well, maybe it's because I知 a Cassadine. Some sort of -- I don't know -- disconnect thing. I mean, my uncle was that way and so was Alexis. Maybe on some level, I feel -- I feel like I can do anything; like the rules and laws of common decency don't apply to me somehow.

Emily: You aren't like the rest of the Cassadines.

Nikolas: I'm just glad that she can't hurt you or anyone else again.

Emily: Oh. We can get on with our lives now, huh?

Nikolas: Yeah.

Emily: It's over.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Lucky: No, it isn't.

[Lucky sighs]

Lucky: It's just getting started. Forget attempted manslaughter. Lansing can charge you with murder.

Emily: What? Because he stopped a woman who had already killed two people? A woman who -- who tried to kill me?

Lucky: No, all bets are off now that Mary痴 dead.

Emily: Why would Ric up the charges against Nikolas from manslaughter to murder?

Nikolas: Because I threatened to kill Mary 20 minutes before I grabbed Mac痴 gun, I shot a woman who was not an immediate threat, and Mac saw no reason to use deadly force. There you go.

Lucky: That means Nikolas is in serious trouble.

Nikolas: What's next?

Lucky: Your bail -- probably be revoked.

Nikolas: So I go back into lockup?

Lucky: Hmm, looks that way.

Nikolas: That's great.

Lucky: And politically, Lansing will need to charge you as high as he can.

Emily: No, Lucky, you can't let that happen --

Nikolas: No, Emily --

Emily: No, Nikolas --

Nikolas: Listen. I know; I understand. The Cassadines have a long history of getting away with murder in this town. If Ric can make an example out of me, it'd make his career.

Lucky: That's right.

Emily: Nikolas wasn't -- he didn't plan to kill anyone. He was trying to save me, Lucky.

Lucky: I know, I know, but the law doesn't see it that way.

Nikolas: Do you have to arrest me right now?

Lucky: I'll put a rush on the autopsy and start the paperwork. That'll give you guys more time together.

Nikolas: Thanks.

Emily: Thank you, Lucky. I appreciate it.

Lucky: It won't be long.

Emily: Ok. Whew. Lucky's helping you escape, just like before, ok? Come on, we have to get out of here.

Sam: So, it's -- it's like I said. Jason gave me a place to live when I needed it. I'm terrible with kids. He's great with them, and he offered to help me out with my daughter. And I -- I accepted, but we are only -- only roommates.

Elizabeth: So the danger isn't a factor?

Sam: No. I mean, not -- not really. It's -- it's really not any worse than the way I grew up, running cons, picking pockets, in and out of jail. I --

Elizabeth: Do you really want to raise your child like that?

Sam: No, I'm -- I知 sure Jason will keep us away from the bad part.

Elizabeth: Hmm. Well, as long as you understand that nobody is ever really safe with Jason.

Sam: I am not with Jason. He -- he barely even notices me.

Elizabeth: Oh. Oh, yeah. Almost no eye contact, right? And he does these incredibly sweet things and suddenly has to disappear on business?

Sam: So? I mean, that's -- that's just how he is. Completely uncommunicative. And he doesn't talk about his feelings or anything else of that matter.

Elizabeth: Well, did it ever occur to you that Jason Morgan痴 just shy?

Sam: Shy? Why would he -- why would he be shy around me? Nothing is happening.

Elizabeth: That's right. Nothing at all.

Ric: What are you doing here?

Jason: Ric, you're dropping charges against Justus hoping Sonny will go after him.

Ric: Well, actually, it has nothing to do with Sonny. You see, Faith convinced me that she held Justus hostage; forced him to help her.

Jason: Hmm.

Ric: Unless you want to dispute that in a formal statement. Yeah, I didn't think so. Look, Faith is prepared to go to the mat for Justus. She might even be in love with him. I mean, not that a sociopath could ever love anybody, right? But Justus definitely loves her. I mean, why else would he do what he did in going against Sonny that way, right?

Jason: Maybe.

Ric: Yeah, well, I forgot. You're just not like the rest of us, are you? See, when people fall in love, Jason, they lose all sense of right and wrong, good judgment. They make mistakes. That's when they're vulnerable.

Coleman: Oh, man, a woman after my own heart there.

Carly: Get off my bed.

Coleman: You don't mean that.

Carly: Ok, I do mean that. I'm going to show you how much I mean that. If you are not off of my bed in one second, I知 going to scream. I'm actually in the mood to scream. I think it might feel real good to scream, so here I go. Ready? I am --

Coleman: You know what, Carly? You know what? You know what? You know what? I come all this way to see you. And this is what I get?

Carly: Ok, cut the crap. What's this going to cost me?

Coleman: What? Keep quiet about daddy Durant? Hmm?

Carly: Well -- he may not be my father. I told you that.

Coleman: I want to do what's right. I mean 20 grand -- 25 --

Carly: How about 50?

Coleman: You want -- let's review how blackmail works, ok? You want a low number, I want a high number. We meet somewhere in the middle of that. But actually -- actually, I could see why you'd -- you know, you'd offer more. To keep me shut up.

Carly: Ok --

Coleman: Considering his line of work and everything.

Carly: Do -- do shut up, ok? I need to come up with a cover.

Coleman: Don't be telling me to shut up now.

Carly: I can't think!

Coleman: I'll tell you what. For 50 grand -- for 50 grand, I'll help you out. I'll find another cat who lives in the boroughs with the same initials.

Carly: Are you out of your --

[Knock on door]

Sonny: Hey, Carly, it's me. Carly, you all right?

Carly: Yeah, just a sec.

Sonny: What the hell took you so long?

Carly: Hey. What are you doing here?

Sonny: I'm just making sure you're all right. Why, what's up?

Carly: Oh -- oh, I'm much better now that you're here.

Sonny: Well -- well, it must be tough, right? I was just worried about you.

Carly: Yes, it's a lot tougher than I thought.

Sonny: Yeah? Did you find him? J.D.?

Carly: No, not -- not yet, but I'm not going to give up.

Sonny: Well, you never give up. Right?

Carly: Right. You know, Sonny, I've been thinking something.

Sonny: Yeah?

Carly: I've been thinking -- um -- what if you're right, what you said before, about this guy? What if he's awful? What if -- what if I don't want to know him much --

Sonny: Right, right.

Carly: Let alone love him, right?

Sonny: It's scary, what you're doing. That's why I decided to help.

Carly: Yeah -- no, what? No, Sonny. We've been through this before!

Sonny: No, I don't want you depending on Coleman. He's trash.

Carly: It's ok with him.

Sonny: Listen to me. I will find J.D. or whoever your father is. I promise you, I will not scare him to death. Just let me help.

Carly: Ok.

Sonny: Ok?

Carly: First things first.

Sonny: Yeah?

Carly: I missed you, just for one day already.

Ric: Well, the paperwork is done. You're free to go.

Justus: Why are you doing this?

Ric: Well, Faith already told me the truth about what happened. There's no reason for me to press charges.

Justus: What'd she tell you?

Ric: What, you guys didn't get your stories straight, did you? Well, she's -- she's going with the whole hostage scenario. You know, she held you at gunpoint, forced you to help her -- that sort of thing. And I -- the story's plausible enough. I just can't figure out why Faith would do anything except for a way to help herself.

Justus: And you know she's lying.

Ric: Oh, I know that she cares about you, Justus. It's possible that she might even love you. And I'm sure that you would help her if you had the chance.

Justus: Here we go, huh?

Ric: I'm sure that Sonny isn't very happy with you at the moment. I'm sure you also had the conversation where you're no longer under his protection. He might be planning your disappearance as we speak.

Justus: It's possible.

Ric: Mm-hmm. So why don't you take some help from the police? I'll give you protection and an opportunity to help the woman who helped you.

Justus: And so, what, you're -- you're going to protect me from the cops? Is that it?

Ric: That's right, and I'm going to go easy on Faith.

Justus: In return for what?

Ric: Well, come on, Justus. You're a brilliant attorney. You should be able to figure that out.

Justus: Yeah, I know. You want all the details on how Sonny runs his operation. Everything I learned while I was working for him, right?

Ric: Why not?

Justus: Huh?

Ric: You've already turned against him, right? And Faith is counting on you.

Nikolas: I won't run away from this.

Emily: And Lucky is giving you a chance. He's stalling with the autopsy and the paperwork.

Nikolas: If I do, he'll lose his job and his career, right?

Emily: If you don't, you could spend the rest of your life in jail, Nikolas. Lucky is giving you a chance. Take it.

Nikolas: I know, but I just -- I've been running for months from -- from Helena, from you, from everyone. I can't run anymore. I won't do it.

Emily: Jason will help us disappear. No one will find us, not even Helena. And in a few years --

Nikolas: And I made the choice --

Emily: When everything calms down --

Nikolas: I made a choice. I'll deal with the consequences, ok?

Emily: Oh. I don't think I can.
