Jason: What's going on?
Sonny: This is between me and Sam.
Jason: Well, is it about the baby?
Sonny: You're not this baby's father, Jason.
Jason: Sonny, I never claimed to be. But Sam and the baby will be living here so I have a responsibility to them.
Sonny: Oh, well, maybe you're getting a little too close to my child.
Courtney: Glad you could make it.
Jax: Well, we seem to have the place to ourselves.
Courtney: You know, that's not an accident.
Courtney: We have the whole place alone for the rest of the night.
[Knock on door]
Coleman: Mrs. Corinthos. You're the last person I expected to hear from.
Carly: Yeah, well, I need you to do something for me.
Coleman: Let me guess. Well, you -- role of happy little housewife ain't cutting it? You got a little itch that needs scratching or something?
Carly: I will never, ever be that desperate. I need you to find someone for me.
Lorenzo: Why did Mary kill Sage?
Nikolas: Mistaken identity. She thought Sage was Emily.
Lorenzo: So my niece died in Emilyís place?
Nikolas: Mary Bishop killed two innocent people, ok? It's not Emilyís fault that she was the intended victim. The only person to blame here is Mary.
Emily: Let go of me!
Mary: I missed my chance to kill you before. I won't now.
Lucky: Emily! What are you doing?
Mary: She attacked me! Get her away from me!
Nikolas: So I recovered my memory.
Lorenzo: Well, it had to happen on its own time.
Nikolas: Well, I don't think you were counting on that when you offered me a job. You wanted me indebted to you.
Lorenzo: We've been over all this.
Nikolas: Well, I have a different perspective on it now. You thought you could use me against Jason somehow.
Lorenzo: Which I freely admitted as soon as you learned who you were really were. Look, I don't have time to debate whether I treated you fair. I am trying to figure out why my niece was murdered!
Nikolas: I understand. Look, Sage was an innocent victim and so was Emily, so, please, just stay away from her.
Alexis: I need to consult with my client.
Ric: Don't do it.
Lorenzo: Do what?
Ric: You want to avenge your niece.
Lorenzo: I want justice to be served.
Ric: Yeah, well, that's my department, Mr. Alcazar, not yours. So I'm only going to warn you once. Stay away from Mary Bishop.
Jason: I'm trying to do what's best for this child.
Sonny: You mean my daughter?
Jason: No one's forgetting that, Sonny.
Sonny: I want to be the one making decisions for her, you know?
Jason: Ok. But, you know, children are dependent on the adults who are with them. Decisions are going to have to be made around the clock. You know that.
Sonny: You just come over and ask me, then.
Sam: Sonny, you won't be there when she takes her first step or says her first word or gets sick or needs a ride to a play date because you can't be there. You have a wife and kids of your own.
Sonny: How many times do I got to say this? This is my child, too, as much as -- as Michael and Morgan, so --
Sam: Yeah, but she's not going to be a part of your family! Let's face it, she's not going to be a priority. She's going to be the kid you visit when you have time off from Michael and Morgan. We both know there's a lot more to parenting than biology, Sonny.
Sonny: Oh. So you're just going to take the place of the father? Is that what's going on here?
Jason: No, I'm just the one who's going to be here all the time.
Sam: Jason will be here living day in and day out with me and your baby during the time that you're supposed to be here, and that's the reality of it, Sonny. You can fight it all you want, but at some point you're going to have to deal with it.
Sam: Yeah, that was awful. Jason, it's so frustrating! Do you understand that he is the one who didn't want me; he wanted Michael and Morgan and the boys and Carly. That's fine with me. I totally -- I understand that and it's for the best, but I don't understand why he thinks he can just walk around and police our lives! I mean, would it be such a terrible idea?
Sam: "What"? I mean, if this -- if us wasn't just about the baby!
Courtney: You certainly take a lot for granted.
Jax: Do I?
Courtney: Well, yeah. Coming in here, grabbing me without even a hello.
Jax: Well, I didn't notice you complaining.
Courtney: Well, you lip-locked me so fast I couldn't speak, Jax.
Jax: And you had your arms around me because you had a sudden dizzy spell? Is that why?
Courtney: Don't you ever let up?
Jax: Well, you know, less than a month to win our bet.
Courtney: Is that all you ever think about, Jax?
Jax: I'm supposed to be, you know, seducing you.
Jax: It's a hell of a lot more interesting than investment portfolios and annual reports.
Courtney: Really? Well, you know what? You're better off focusing on corporate raids.
Courtney: You'll have a lot more success at that.
Jax: Is that right? Really?
Jax: How are those dreams of yours? You still having them?
Courtney: Yeah, actually, I am, and none of them are about you.
Jax: Of course. They're about shoes, right? Designer shoes.
Courtney: Uh-huh. Yep.
Courtney: Ok. Goodbye, Jax.
Jax: You know, you're really beautiful when you're annoyed.
Courtney: Oh, stop it. Now go.
Jax: This is what -- this is what the next month of your life is going to look like. You and I as close as a kiss, until you can't resist another moment. And that flimsy wall that you put up between us comes crumbling down.
Jax: We end up in bed making mad, passionate love.
Courtney: Ok, get out. Ay-yi-yi.
Carly: I'm trying to find my biological father. All I had were initials "J.D." to go on. Now I've narrowed it down to those three names.
Coleman: Your mom couldn't get any more specific than this?
Carly: Bobby was leading a -- a difficult life back then.
Carly: Yeah, that's right.
Coleman: Yeah, so now she's a respectable nurse, mother. I mean, she can't be real happy you're looking into this.
Carly: Well, that's my business, and I need to know the truth.
Coleman: How did you come up with the names?
Carly: There were clients. I found them in a ledger kept by the madam who ran the house where she was working.
Coleman: Is the madam still alive?
Carly: No, she's not. And you're not going to be able to get any information from my mother, either. All three of those guys lived in or around Tallahassee about 29 years ago, and I'm hoping that one of them was a teenager.
Coleman: Oh. So you are -- what, you want me to find ages, whereabouts?
Carly: And any background information that you can come up with. But I do not want you contacting them. You just tell me where they are.
Coleman: So, what -- what's in this for me, aside from, like, your -- that's good.
Coleman: Your everlasting gratitude?
Carly: 10 grand.
Coleman: Come on. A good-looking chick like you can come up with something a little bit more creative than that. Can't you? Huh?
Carly: I think you're about to be a dead man.
Coleman: How do you figure that, hmm? How do you figure?
Carly: Because my husband is standing right behind you.
Sonny: You know better than to disrespect my wife.
Coleman: My apologies, man. No offense intended. She -- I mean, she called me. Hmm?
Carly: Yeah, for a meeting. And the meeting's adjourned.
Coleman: Cool, then I'll get -- I'll get back to you about the business agreement. That's cool. See you.
Sonny: Right on.
Coleman: Right on.
Carly: Listen, I called Coleman to check into these guys with the initials "J.D.," The names that we found in Ruby's ledger.
Sonny: I have people who can handle it.
Carly: I know, Sonny, and I love you for trying to help, but we talked about this. I have to take care of it on my own.
Sonny: So -- ok, well, wait. Hire Felicia.
Carly: She's good, but she's way too close to Bobbie.
Sonny: Coleman's trash. You know that.
Carly: Sonny, I have not forgotten what he did to Courtney. The guy is resourceful.
Sonny: Yeah, but all he's looking for is a buck.
Carly: Yeah, and greed is a great motivator.
Sonny: Well, then you should keep that in mind because, you know, Coleman is not exactly trustworthy, and he could just make something up just to collect his fees. And even if he does find your father, there -- there's no guarantee that your father's going to be, you know, good or an honest person.
Carly: I know, Sonny.
Sonny: You know. I know you know with your head, but your heart's telling you something else, and you lead with your heart. You're leaving yourself wide open to this stranger who's your father. I mean, he could be thinking about something else. I mean, you're -- you're a rich woman with powerful connections. He may want to use that.
Carly: Yeah, you're right. No, you're right. I'm a user. Why wouldn't he be?
Sonny: I mean, look -- no, I mean, it's just -- I don't know. I mean, I hope that I'm worried about nothing and you find your father and he -- he loves you like you deserve to be loved. But I'm just saying that I just -- you need to be a little more cautious and not set yourself up to get hurt.
Sam: I don't know why I just said that. You and I have nothing in common except this pregnancy. I mean, before I was pregnant, we didn't even like each other. And in fact, you tried to run me out of town several times.
Jason: Yeah, I offered to pay you a lot of money.
Sam: You were awful, cold, and dismissive. And I -- I thought you were a pig. No offense.
Jason: No, things -- things change.
Sam: Yeah, they do. That's -- that's an understatement. You turned out to be an amazing friend, and I -- I think you're going to be good for the baby. You're going to be really good for the baby. But you and I -- I mean, we could never be involved in any other way. It's actually kind of really ridiculous to think about.
Jason: Yeah, it's -- it's not going to happen.
Sam: Right. Right, we're -- we're living together to give the baby the best life we can give, and that's it. I mean, who needs the rest of it, anyway? It's actually kind of a relief not to have to worry about love and romance and all that stuff. It just gets sticky and messy --
Sam: In the way anyway, right?
Jason: Right, absolutely. Yeah, absolutely.
Sam: Damn right. Yeah.
Courtney: I'm in big trouble.
Carly: What's the matter?
Carly: Well, I could have told you that. In fact, I think I did tell you that. But if that loser did anything --
Courtney: Carly, just listen to me! Just listen to me, ok? I can't get him out of my head, you know? I canít. I keep thinking about him, and you know -- I mean, I --
Courtney: No, I know, I know. It's -- I know. I know. I mean, at first, he seemed so conceited --
Courtney: And over the top, and the only thing I felt for him when I looked at him was an overwhelming desire to laugh. But now he's starting to get to me. Come on, Carly, I need your help.
Carly: Ok, here it is. Jax is a useless lightweight. He is a playboy with overprocessed hair. He's a grinning, plastic doll!
Courtney: You're not helping! You're not helping. That's not helping.
Carly: Well, you need to make a mental list of all the annoying, self-centered, shallow things that he does.
Courtney: Yeah, ok. I already tried that, all right?
Courtney: But then I end up forgetting how much he annoys me, and I start dwelling on how much I like him and how much I enjoy being with him. Oh God, Carly, if I'm not careful, Jax is going to seduce me, and my foundation is going to lose $10 million.
Carly: You're seriously thinking of going to bed with him.
Courtney: Yes, that's what I've been trying to tell you!
Carly: Have you lost your mind? Well, then just stop this, is what you do! You don't see him until this stupid bet is over.
Courtney: But he's so persistent, Carly, you know? I mean, he keeps showing up wherever I am and coming to my apartment!
Carly: Tell him to stop!
Courtney: I can't!
Carly: Why not?
Courtney: I don't know! I don't know -- because I like him. Carly, I enjoy being with him. I really like kissing him, and I --
Carly: Ew, ew! Too much information!
Courtney: Ok --
Carly: I don't need to hear that! I really donít.
Courtney: Listen to me, Carly -- I swear, if you do not help me, by nightfall I will be sleeping with Jax.
Sonny: That would be a mistake.
Mary: Emily hit me. You saw her.
Emily: What? I was trying to protect myself.
Mary: She attacked me.
Emily: Mary had her hands around my throat --
Lucky: Ok, you know what, that's enough!
Emily: And I was trying to pry them off!
Lucky: That's enough!
Emily: Lucky, she was strangling me, ok?
Mary: She's lying.
Emily: Look at my neck. I have --
Mary: She wants to kill me so she can have Connor to herself. Connor is my husband. He came back from the war to be with me. I'm not going to let her have him now.
Emily: He is not your husband, he is Nikolas Cassadine.
Lucky: All right, that's enough. That's enough, all right? We need to leave this room.
Emily: Lucky, she attacked me. You have to believe me. I didn't do anything. I was just standing there, and all of a sudden she --
Lucky: All right, you know what? We need to go. I told you to stay away from her.
Emily: I just wanted to talk to her, Lucky. I had no intentions of hurting her, I swear!
Lucky: Listen, I believe you. But you took a big risk.
Emily: She was unconscious. I was just trying to understand what she'd done.
Lucky: Mary's had a psychotic break. She's not dealing with reality.
Emily: Yeah, obviously. I was just standing there, when all of a sudden she grabbed my wrist and she put her hands on my throat!
Lucky: Nikolas is facing charges for taking the law in his own hands. All right? You could be facing the same situation if you're not careful.
Emily: I understand.
Lucky: She was really strangling you, wasn't she?
Emily: Yeah, I -- I couldn't believe how strong she was. I don't know, I guess her anger must have given her an extra surge of adrenaline or something.
Lucky: Promise me you'll stay away from her. There's no telling what she could try to do if she finds herself alone with you again.
Emily: I promise.
Lucky: All right, I'm going to go let the staff know that Maryís not allowed any more visitors, ok? You ok?
Emily: Yeah. Thanks.
Lorenzo: Just who I was looking for.
Alexis: Attempted manslaughter?
Ric: Alexis --
Alexis: You and I both know Nikolas did not go into the Quartermaine house with the intention of killing Mary Bishop.
Ric: Well, that could be argued considering multiple witnesses overheard him say that he was going to do it moments before he actually pulled the trigger.
Alexis: Maybe that's because Mary was trying to kill her with a butcher knife.
Ric: But that's also technically statement of intent. Look, he followed up on that statement 20 minutes later when he reached for Macís gun and he opened fire on Mary Bishop.
Alexis: You need to read the report again.
Ric: Oh, I'm talking to the wall here.
Alexis: And this time you need to pay attention. She was homicidal. Everyone in the Quartermaine house was armed in self-defense.
Ric: Yes, but he didn't shoot her in self-defense, ok? He shot her because he was afraid for Emilyís life.
Alexis: He did not leave his house with a weapon, which means that he had no intention of --
Ric: Listen to me, listen to me. He reached for Macís gun, pointed it at Mary Bishop point-blank, opened fire.
Alexis: Because he was trying to protect Emily.
Ric: It's not going to stand up in a court of law!
Alexis: Forget your law books and your precedents! Exercise your conscience! He did not kill her out of vengeance; he was doing it to protect Emily.
Ric: That's one interpretation.
Alexis: It's the right one. And I am not asking this as a personal favor.
Ric: Oh, the hell you're not. It doesn't get any more personal than this.
Lorenzo: I understand that Sage died in your place.
Emily: Yeah, it's true. Mary said that she mistook Sage for me. I'm so sorry. I really am. Mary's mind broke.
Lorenzo: Did you have any indication that Mary was losing touch with reality?
Emily: Besides lying to Nikolas and telling him that he was her dead husband?
Lorenzo: At the time, she appeared to be driven by grief and love?
Emily: That's no excuse.
Lorenzo: I'm not making excuses; I'm saying she didn't appear to be dangerous. You befriended her yourself.
Emily: Yeah, because -- because I believed her lies. I didn't realize that she felt entitled to steal Nikolas. She knew that he had a family, people who care about him and were looking for him, and she -- she ignored all of that.
Lorenzo: So Mary builds her life around Nikolas, and you took him away.
Emily: You're saying this is my fault?
Lorenzo: I'm trying to figure out when Mary crossed the line; when she went from being troubled to being outright delusional and violent. I am trying to figure out why my niece was stabbed to death in a freezer while you're walking around without a scratch!
Jason: Leave Emily alone.
Sonny: Well, I thought this thing with Jax was like -- just like a flirtation type of -- I didn't -- so I thought it was like your -- part of your rebound because of Jason, you know?
Courtney: Um -- look --
Courtney: Jax bet me -- he bet me that he could seduce me. And I accepted because I -- you know, I mean, it seemed like a sure thing, like I knew that I could resist Jax, you know. But -- but lately he's been pulling out all the stops -- you know, just hounding me day and night. And I -- I was asking Carly for help because I need help.
Sonny: Jax is pressuring you? Is that what you're saying?
Courtney: No --
Courtney: Sonny, it's not -- it's not like that, honestly.
Courtney: I can handle it myself, really. Please, don't -- don't hurt Jax, ok?
Sonny: I got no intention of hurting Jax, you know? I mean, I've -- you know, I've interfered in your life before. I'm not going to make that mistake again. I mean, hey, it's, you know -- I mean, I may not like it. It's your life, your choice, not mine. You're going to do what you want.
Courtney: Thanks. He -- he took that well.
Carly: Yeah, too well. When Sonny is that calm, there is definitely something going on under the surface.
Jason: You're looking to blame somebody for Sage's death. It was no one's fault. Mary lost her mind.
Emily: Her fantasy didn't match reality, and Mary couldn't take it.
Lorenzo: And my niece was the victim, locked in the basement freezer by the police commissioner's daughter where Mary found her, alone and scared.
Emily: Mary also found another one of Sage's friends alone in a hallway that night -- a kid named Trent -- and she killed him, too.
Jason: Emily is not responsible for what happened to either one of them.
Emily: But neither is Nikolas, or any one of the other people who were with Sage that night.
Lorenzo: So Sage is gone. Her life is over just like that. And I'm supposed to just accept the fact that it doesn't make sense and just go on with my life?
Emily: What happened to your niece was a terrible tragedy. It was cruel and unfair and beyond comprehension.
Jason: Alcazar, nobody is asking you to forget it, but going after an innocent kid isn't going to bring her back.
Emily: Oh, God.
Jason: Are you ok?
Emily: Yeah. I'm so glad you showed up when you did.
Jax: Are threats your answer to everything, Sonny?
Sonny: Stay away from Courtney, Jax.
Jax: What Courtney and I do is none of your business.
Sonny: Look, she's get -- she's getting over a divorce right now she doesn't want. You're taking advantage of that so you can get her into bed. Oh, so you're playing games once again. See, because Courtney to you is like a toy that you haven't bought. You're going to -- you're going to throw as much cash at her as you can, and then when she doesn't give in, you're going to move on to the next one. Am I right?
Jax: I think you're talking about yourself.
Sonny: Ok, you know what? Forget Courtney. You got women, right, from Monte Carlo to L.A., who actually fall for whatever it is that you -- I don't know -- whatever you give them. Find one of them. Leave my sister alone.
Jax: I see. I actually care about Courtney. I -- I like her.
Sonny: Yeah, that's nice, that's nice. Forget my sister. You are using her as a way to insult me.
Sonny: Yeah, really.
Jax: Did it ever occur to you that perhaps this has nothing to do with you?
Sonny: No, actually, it doesnít. It never occurred to me.
Jax: Get this straight, Sonny, ok? Get this straight. I'm not using Courtney for anything -- least of all, to get back at you. Now, it doesn't matter that you're her brother. Actually, it's the only downside to the -- to the whole thing. But it's not going to stop us from being together. So make peace with it. And if you can't, then just leave us alone.
Courtney: I am desperate, ok? I don't think that I can hold on until the end of the bet.
Carly: You have to!
Courtney: I know! Will you please tell me how?
Carly: I'm sorry, I'm too appalled to help you brainstorm right now.
Courtney: Carly, please, please, you are so much better at this scheming thing than I am. Just help me.
Carly: Oh, well, thanks, I think.
Courtney: Listen, here he is! Just think of something.
Carly: Oh, just tell him to shove it up his --
Courtney: Ok, that's a great idea! That's great. I would love to go to Atlantic City with you.
Jax: Did I just hear you ladies say that you're heading down the shore?
Carly: [Imitates Jax] "Down the shore"?
Jax: Yeah, it's an expression for Jersey girls to go to the beach.
Courtney: Oh, and you know that from all the time you've spent with Jersey girls?
Jax: Well, I spent time with one Jersey girl. And if I'm lucky enough to keep seeing her, perhaps I'll pick up some more of her charming expressions.
Courtney: Charm? Mm-hmm. Speaking of charm, Jax, you're laying it on kind of thick.
Jax: Well, the sentiment's genuine.
Courtney: Uh-huh. And so is your desire to win the bet.
Jax: Well, it takes two to tango, as they say.
Courtney: Well, you know, we also have a little saying in Jersey -- "Winner takes all."
Courtney: And since the "all" is $10 million, I fully intend to win.
Jax: Hmm. So you'll be planning your strategy at the beach, then, huh?
Courtney: Actually, we thought we would hit the casinos and grab some dinner.
Carly: [Normal voice] Yeah, we're going to go to a show, dancing.
Jax: Oh. I've got a suite at the Golden Sands hotel. We can have dinner, say around 8:00, and we can all hit the tables together.
Carly: Oh, no, I don't think that you're invited.
Courtney: No, that's great! That's great. That sounds like a lot of fun.
Jax: Ok, then. We'll see you there. You have a safe drive.
Carly: I thought you said you wanted to stay away from him.
Courtney: Oh, I do.
Carly: Ok, wait. Explain something. We just went through this whole elaborate plan about going to Atlantic City. And then as soon as Jax says he wants to go, you jump all over to meet him there --
Courtney: Jax goes to Atlantic City, and I -- I get as far away as possible.
Jason: I love watching you with this baby.
Sam: Shh. I just got her to sleep.
Jason: That's ok. We can get a little time to ourselves.
Sam: Ok, ok, but not -- not in front of the baby, ok?
Jason: I just can't help myself. You're irresistible.
Sam: Well, I didn't tell you to stop.
Jason: Dillon told me what happened at the house.
Jason: He was afraid that Alcazar would blame the kids for locking Sage in the freezer where she was killed, but I had a feeling that Alcazar might come after you. Did he make any threats?
Emily: No, no. I think more than anything, he's -- he's trying to understand.
Jason: Yeah, well, sometimes there's no explanation. You know, things just happen.
Jason: I guess you can -- you can go back and try to figure out where Mary actually lost her mind, why she turned violent, but it's not going to bring the people back that she killed. I'm just glad you're ok.
Emily: Me, too.
Jason: And Dillon said you actually fought with Mary?
Emily: Yeah. I'm not going to lie, Jase. I mean, I was terrified, but I wasn't about to let that lady kill me.
Jason: Ok, why wasn't Nikolas protecting you?
Emily: No, no, no, he was. They all thought that the killer was back at the boathouse, and they were -- you know what? Forget it. It -- it doesn't matter. What matters is that Nikolas and I survived, and he remembers. Jase, yeah. Nikolas loves me again, as much as he did before. You know, maybe even more, now that we've gone through this awful ordeal.
Jason: Wow, this is -- this is good news.
Emily: I know.
Jason: I'm happy for you.
Emily: You helped me so much. You know, when Nikolas was at his angriest, and when I thought that there was no hope at all, I'd -- I'd think of you. And I'd realize that, you know, love is about more than memory. You know, you can start from scratch and you can learn to love someone all over again. And I would have done that for Nikolas. I would have loved him even if he never remembered anything.
Jason: But he did.
Emily: And you told me that, too --
Jason: I know.
Emily: That, you know -- that in time, Nikolas would come back to me, and now he has. Thank you for helping me hold on.
Jason: Hey, you know, I didn't -- I didn't do anything. It was all you.
Carly: What a relief. For a minute there, I thought that Jaxís smarmy lines were getting to you.
Courtney: I don't -- I don't know that I'd use the word "smarmy."
Carly: Slick, smooth, shallow? Take your pick.
Courtney: Oh, come on, Carly. Jax is just trying too hard, you know? I mean, it's -- actually, it's kind of sweet, really.
Carly: Sweet? Ugh. This is serious, you know? I'm doing something. Something has got to be done.
Courtney: Carly, what are you doing?
Carly: Yeah, just wait. Hey, Meyer. Hi. Yeah, it's -- it's Carly. Yeah, can you call the pilot and tell him to get the jet fueled? Sonny's sister is going to go down to the island.
Courtney: The island.
Carly: Great. Great, she'll be there. It's all taken care of.
Courtney: Well, as long as you don't think Sonny will mind.
Carly: Mind? Are you kidding? He'd fly the plane himself if he knew it would keep you away from Jax.
Courtney: You know, you're right. You're right. I mean, even if Jax does find out where I went -- I mean, there's no way he's going to go to Sonny's private island.
Carly: No, no, no, you are all set. So you go down to the cabana, and you stay there until this stupid bet expires. And then if you want to stay there even longer just to get Jax out of your system, please do. You are definitely more than welcome to.
Officer: You're free to go, but not to leave the state.
Nikolas: All right.
Emily: Oh, my God.
Emily: Hey, Nikolas. That's wonderful. How did you make bail?
Nikolas: Lansing decided only to charge me with attempted manslaughter.
Emily: What changed his mind?
Nikolas: I have no idea.
Alexis: How does it feel?
Ric: You're going to have to be a little bit more specific.
Alexis: You were ethical. You did something ethical. Reducing the charges was a very ethical thing to do.
Ric: Thank you. But if I get a conviction, he still is going to get 5 to 20.
Alexis: No question.
Ric: And don't think that I'm going to go easy on him in prosecuting him because you're arguing his defense. The charges I filed were valid. I just -- it had nothing to do with your heartfelt pitch for leniency.
Alexis: You don't have to convince me. Doesn't mean that I can't thank you.
Carly: You're back soon.
Coleman: I'm fast.
Carly: So did you find out anything?
Coleman: Piece of cake. Got info on all three guys.
Coleman: And I'm kind of wondering why I should share it with you since you hung me out to dry with Sonny. I mean --
Carly: I could call Sonny right now and I could tell him you're holding out on me.
Coleman: Ooh. Now, there's -- there's no need to get hostile, ok?
Carly: Then stop wasting my time, ok?
Coleman: Hey, relax. Just relax. Now, two of your guys are deceased, ok? And both of those guys would have been mid to late 20s when they knew your mom. But you were right about the third guy. He would have been 17.
Carly: So where is he now?
Coleman: He lives in Manhattan, Upper East Side, very pricey neighborhood. Your old man's obviously doing all right for himself, if that's the guy.
Coleman: Well, I -- I kind of prefer the 10 G's.
Carly: Yeah, you -- you've earned it.
Coleman: You know, I got to tell you, it's always a -- you know, it's always a pleasure doing business with a beautiful gal such as yourself. So if you ever need anything else --
Carly: Coleman, don't push it.
Sonny: What did he come up with?
Carly: Only one of the guys is -- is still living, and he's in New York.
Sonny: So, you going to see him?
Carly: I have to go. I -- I have to find out if he's my father.
Sonny: Carly, listen. Now, you know, I want this to work out for you. I really do. But you need to be prepared. Whatever you're hoping for, whatever picture you have in your head -- it may not be like that.
Carly: I know.
Sonny: I know you know, but this man may not want to be found. He may want to keep you buried in his past. He may have a family or a life -- whatever. He has no idea you exist.
Carly: Sonny, I'm trying -- I am trying not to have any expectations.
Sonny: I know that. I know that and, you know, if he is your father, you're hoping that he'll care for you and you'll matter to him. This may work out, it may not work out. I just don't want you to be disappointed. You need to protect your heart.
Courtney: Yeah, could you -- could you come out here and help me with my seat belt? I can't -- I can't get it fastened. Oh. Thanks.
Jax: Welcome to Air Romance.
