Nikolas: Shh, shh. No, no, it's ok. It's ok. Don't scream. It's me.
Emily: What are you doing here?
Nikolas: I need your help.
Courtney: I was surprised you called. I didn't think that I'd hear from you for a while after the way you stormed out of my loft.
Jax: Temporary insanity.
Jax: I should know better than to throw ultimatums at you. It only makes you even more stubborn, if that's possible. But I'm stubborn, as well, so Iím here to offer you a compromise. Let me take you on an extended vacation far away from Faith Rosco, and the potential of another mob war.
Courtney: Not to mention, Jason.
Sonny: I made Ric look like the psycho that he is when I testified at Samís hearing. But I'll tell you what. He's going to be looking to come back at me, you know?
Carly: Listen, Sonny, the court accepted Samís confession. She's been exonerated.
Sonny: Yeah, but, you know, the confession that set Sam free is a lie.
Carly: Well, obviously, Ric can't prove it. Otherwise, he would have.
Sonny: Yeah, but you know what? He's not going to rest until he can.
Max: Hey, this guy was across the hall knocking on Jasonís door.
Danny: Where's Sam? I have to see my sister.
Ric: Ok, I want surveillance in place at 10:00 on Pier 52. Right.
Sam: Ric, I confess. I set fire to my mother's place, and I fully intended to kill her.
Jason: Sam, stop. Don't say another word.
Ric: Well, I think she said more than enough. It seems your girlfriend -- or whatever she is -- just confessed to premeditated murder.
Emily: I'll do anything I can to help, but I have to be honest. You didn't do yourself any favors by overpowering those orderlies and escaping from the police station.
Nikolas: I wasn't about to let Helena have me committed to a mental institution.
Emily: Ok, this is about your grandmother wanting control of the Cassadine estate. She has proven time and again that she will stop at nothing to get what she wants, and unfortunately, you played right into her hands. Nikolas, if you had agreed to a psychiatric evaluation, then it would have been clear that there's nothing wrong with you, and Helena would have been thwarted. But by fighting your way out, you basically made her point.
Nikolas: What do you want -- what do you want me to do? Turn myself in? I mean --
Emily: I want you to think. Helena is lethal. You need to get control of your anger and come up with a strategy or she's going to destroy you.
Courtney: Admit it, Jax. I mean, come on, the real issue isn't my safety, it's Jason.
Jax: You really think the entire world revolves around this man, don't you?
Courtney: All right, look. We have come a long way. Far enough that I'd hope we could be honest with each other. Especially when the truth is so clear. Look, if you're concerned that I am still in love with Jason and that Iím drifting back to him, just say so.
Jax: I'll tell you what concerns me. That you're still loyal to this man. That's not my focus at the moment. Violence is about to break out between Sonny and some other mob faction. Yeah, it could be Faith or Lorenzo -- I don't know. But I don't want you in the line of fire. Ok? You're Sonny's sister and Jasonís ex. You make for a really good target. If I can just take you to the other side of the world, and, you know, at least -- we'll have plenty of time to discuss your appalling taste in men.
Courtney: Thanks so much for the offer, Jax, but I'm not going anywhere.
Lois: Hi, it's Lois, calling from Kellyís. I'm a little disturbed and I feel like I need some clarification on a certain issue. I'm going to be here for about an hour, so if you could stop by, that'd be great. Otherwise, just hit my cell.
Ned: Who has you so concerned?
Lois: Lorenzo Alcazar.
Lorenzo: I'm on Pier 52 right now. I want you to put Faith here at exactly 10:00 P.M.
Man: No problem. We're right on course.
Lorenzo: Let me speak to her.
Faith: Oh, how nice of you to call and check up on me.
Lorenzo: Gracious, as always.
Faith: Oh, well, pardon me if Iím not in a very gracious mood. Being locked like a rat in a cage doesn't do much for my disposition. Would you at least tell your jailer here it's ok to let me out on deck?
Lorenzo: Now, why would I do that? It's not ok.
Faith: Well, could -- could you at least get him to uncover the portholes? I can't even see out of the room!
Lorenzo: It's water, Faith. You've seen it before. I am taking a substantial risk by helping you escape. So stop making demands, stay where you're put, and be grateful for the ride.
Faith: Look, the captain won't tell me anything, not even when we're due to dock in the Caribbean. I mean, shouldn't we be there by now?
Lorenzo: You'll be at your destination in less than an hour. After that, you're on your own.
Sonny: Here you go. Sam is not around right now.
Danny: Where is she? Did she go away somewhere?
Sonny: I don't know where she is at the moment, but I promise you, she hasn't left town.
Carly: No, no, no, she hasn't deserted you.
Danny: I know. I -- I get scared sometimes, and I forget. But Sam always takes care of me. She asked Jason to help. Jason's really nice. He's my friend.
Sonny: Yeah, yeah, Jasonís the best.
Carly: Yeah, he's -- he's our friend, too.
Sonny: So, how did you know to come here?
Danny: Jason and I were driving around and he pointed to the top of this building. He said Sam and him live here. I remembered.
Sonny: Well, that's impressive. Was it hard to find?
Carly: Well, did you ask for directions?
Sonny: Mention Samís name or tell anybody that you're her brother?
Danny: I wouldn't. Sam said not to tell, especially about the fire.
Jason: Ric would like nothing better than to violate your rights. He wouldn't even have to try that hard. You're pregnant; you're having mood swings. You don't know what you're saying, so don't say anything, Sam.
Alexis: I got your page. What happened?
Ric: Well, Sam just admitted to deliberately setting the fire that killed her mother.
Jason: She doesn't know what she's saying, Alexis.
Sam: Stop saying that, Jason. I am telling the truth. This has to be done!
Jason: I'm asking you to --
Ric: The first thing that you can do to offer a contribution would be to inform Jason that he has absolutely no legal right at all to obstruct the investigation, and that if he doesn't get the hell out of here, then Iím going to charge him, too.
Alexis: He's right. I'm here. Let me handle it.
Jason: Don't walk into this trap.
Ric: Well, now that you have your attorney present, I assume you're ready to continue. I see. All right, fine, Iíll just call your brother, Danny, in and I'll question him.
Sam: Can he do that?
Alexis: He has the right to question -- subpoena any corroborating witnesses.
Sam: All right, fine. Look, I don't want my brother to have anything to do with this. There's no reason he should, so Iím going to tell you everything you need to know about the night I killed my mother.
Ned: Our daughter is very worried about you. And now, Iím starting to understand why.
Lois: Brook Lynn has an overactive imagination. There is not, and there never will be, anything romantic going on between me and Lorenzo Alcazar.
Ned: Right. Then why meet him here?
Lois: That is absolutely none of your beeswax. And how gullible are you, anyway? Do you not get what our daughter is trying to accomplish?
Ned: Uh -- yeah, let's see. How about saving her mother from the clutches of an amoral gangster?
Lois: No. She wants her parents back together. She wants some big, gushy romantic reunion between the two of us, which we already agreed would never happen, right?
Courtney: You turned out to be a really good friend. And thanks to you, after this bet is over, my foundation will be $10 million richer.
Courtney: Ok, Jax, look, I like you, so don't take this the wrong way. I don't want or need your protection.
Jax: Well, then I should look after my own best interests, but you might not agree.
Jax: I like you, too. I enjoy spending time with you. That stubborn streak is somewhat endearing at times, which means Iím not ready to lose you from my life. But I won't facilitate you placing yourself in danger by adhering to some Draconian code of silence, which I certainly never signed up for. So Iím going to do what I should have done when the shooting started. I'm going to take this to the police.
Jason: Danny --
Danny: Hi, Jason.
Sonny: He left the safe house looking for Sam, and he found his way here.
Danny: Am I in trouble?
Jason: Danny, you -- you said you were going to stay there. You weren't supposed to leave on your own. But you know what? It's ok. It's all right. I'm glad you're safe. That's --
Carly: Hey, Danny -- Danny, I'll bet you've worked up quite an appetite. What do you say we raid the kitchen?
Danny: I like cookies.
Carly: Oh, you are in luck. We have so many.
Carly: Ok, come on, this way. Yeah, yeah, right this way.
Jason: Go ahead, go ahead. Sam is making a confession at the PCPD to Ric right now.
Jason: I tried to shut her up. She thinks she's protecting Danny. Sam's going to bury herself and you and me along with her.
Sonny: Maybe not.
Sam: My brother was in the basement, and I convinced him to leave. I got him down to the car. I got him settled in. I told him I forgot something. I went back in to the house.
Ric: You knew your mother was still inside?
Sam: Yeah, absolutely. I made sure of it. I mean, after I checked on her, I went downstairs into the living room. And I lit some pictures in the fireplace and I used that to burn the curtains. Then I went outside and I made sure the house would burn. And I stayed there until I was sure of it. And then I got back in the car with Danny and I drove away.
Ric: So this David Barron, the -- the convict who admitted to the crime -- he was -- he was what? He was lying?
Sam: I don't know. Maybe he was confused. All I know is I am the one who burned down my mother's house.
Ric: Did you speak to David Barron?
Ric: Did Sonny?
Sam: No! Look, I have no idea why this guy chose to make this confession. I didn't know him at all. And I'm sure Sonny had nothing to do with it.
Nikolas: Maybe I should just leave town.
Emily: You don't mean that.
Nikolas: Why engage in some battle with Helena over a life that I don't remember or even give a damn about?
Emily: You're Helenaís obsession. Nikolas, you have been since the day you were born. Every fight she ever had with your Uncle Stefan was over who had power or control over you. If you run, she's going to find you. She always has resources.
Nikolas: You have a better idea?
Emily: I think you should turn yourself in and insist on a psychiatric evaluation.
Nikolas: What if I don't pass?
Emily: You're perfectly sane, Nikolas.
Nikolas: You think? You know, because sometimes, I really wonder. And I keep spiraling further and further out of control. I just can't trust anyone.
Emily: No, there's me.
Nikolas: Lucky -- I don't want him to know Iím here.
Emily: No, wait -- listen, please, don't shut him out. He's your brother. He's going to help you.
Nikolas: No. No, no. Come on, you said I could trust you. Now, prove it. Please.
Lucky: Emily? Emily?
Lucky: Why didn't you answer? Is Nikolas here, too?
Emily: Uh -- no, no. Why would you think that?
Lucky: Then he must have just left, because I'm sure he came to you.
Lucky: It may not matter to him, Emily, but Nikolas is still my brother. If he's in some kind of trouble, I want to help him. So if you know where he is, you have to tell me.
Emily: I -- I haven't heard from Nikolas. You know, I've been out of my mind with worry, just like you.
Lucky: Why are you at the boathouse?
Emily: Uh -- it's called escape. You know, my family's been hounding me nonstop about grandmother's will, and I just needed to get away from them.
Lucky: I was hoping Nikolas would finally realize he could trust you. You know what, Iím sure he'll be in touch with you at some point. So if he does, I want you to let him know that I am on his side.
Nikolas: I appreciate that.
Lucky: I had a feeling that she was covering for you, because Emily is the worst liar in the world.
Nikolas: Yeah, so Iíve noticed.
Lucky: Listen, I meant what I said. I'll -- I will cover for you. But we have to come up with a plan, because you can't hide out in the boathouse indefinitely.
Emily: Yeah, I was just telling Nikolas that I think he should agree to a psychiatric evaluation. And I --
Lucky: Hey, you know what? Someone's coming. You got to hide. Go!
Tracy: Hmm. Well, well. And what have we here?
Lois: It's perfectly natural for Brook Lynn to want her parents back together, but that doesn't mean it's ever going to happen, as you and I full well know.
Ned: Yeah. No argument there.
Lois: Good. So you can get back to your current project of trying to prove you're virtuous enough to inherit Lilaís fortunes, and Iíll manage my own life, thank you very much.
Ned: Well, you're not doing a very good job.
Lois: Excuse me?
Ned: Whatever Brook's motivation is, she's scared to death of Alcazar. And her instincts are right. Because you know as well as I do, he is a dangerous man.
Lois: Well, I have not personally seen any evidence of that.
Ned: Really? Well, something has you worried. So what did you find out? Is it in any way something that could put you in jeopardy?
Lorenzo: Well, here I am, as requested. What did you need to speak to me about?
Courtney: Ok, Jax, if you call the police, you're only going to make everything worse.
Jax: For Faith? Why should I care about that? And if the next word out of your mouth is going to be "Jason," you know what? He chooses to -- to break the law. He can suffer the consequences. The only thing I care about is that you and I are safe.
Courtney: Ok, Jax, would you just leave it alone?
Jax: Courtney, I would do almost anything for you -- except stand by and let you be a target for violence.
Carly: Why didn't you go to the police station with Sonny?
Jason: Because I've already been kicked out once. Ric says he'll arrest me if I show up again. Besides, Sonny thinks he can, you know, handle things on his own.
Carly: You know, now that I met Danny, I -- I understand why Sam went to such lengths to protect him.
Jason: Yeah, he's a good guy.
Carly: Listen, I realize that. But, Jason, I've got my own family to protect. And Sonny lied on the stand to cover for Sam. How long do you think it's going to take before Ric charges him with perjury?
Ric: All right. That should do it. Thank you for your cooperation.
Sam: Well, I didn't have much of a choice.
Ric: I'll have your confession typed up. Someone will be in to take you to your cell.
Sam: Ahem. So what's your best professional advice? Am I looking at the death penalty?
Alexis: Nobody wants that, Sam. I'll do everything I can to make sure you get the minimum sentence.
Sam: Sonny's here.
Alexis: It's too late.
Ric: Sonny. It's all over. Already got Samís confession on tape that she was the one who killed her mother. It's uncensored and it's in her own words.
Sonny: Ric -- Ric -- Ric, before you do anything with that tape, you need to come with me.
Ric: What? You want to take me down to the pier and break my kneecaps?
Sonny: No, no -- hey, look, I'm asking you as a favor as your brother. In our mother's name.
Ric: That's a pretty serious request.
Sonny: Well, then you know how important this is to me.
Ric: Wait here. Mac, Sonny wants me to leave with him.
Ric: Yeah. It's convenient, huh? And we just got a confirmation that he plans on killing Faith tonight.
Mac: Sonny wants an alibi.
Ric: Yeah, and what better one than his brother, who just happens to be the D.A., right? It's ok, Iím going to play along. You make sure your men are in place, 10:00 at Pier 52.
Mac: Already done.
Ric: Ok, let's go.
Sonny: You're going to bring Samís confession, right?
Sonny: You'll see.
Tracy: Not only did I just catch you in a tacky assignation, but your partner in crime is none other than your beloved fiancťís brother. You're as faithless and promiscuous as everyone else in my family. And I am going to use that to have you eliminated from my mother's challenge.
Emily: No, you are wrong on so many levels, Tracy, I don't even know where to start. You know, first of all, I have every right to be anyplace I want with Lucky, and that --
Tracy: Yes, if you don't plan to inherit. You just cost Emily millions. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Nikolas: Is she for real?
Emily: Yeah. We ask each other that question a lot.
Nikolas: Is it true? Is it true you risked your inheritance to help me?
Emily: I couldn't care less about the money, Nikolas. I don't even want it. And thankfully, Tracyís so single-minded, it never occurred to her that I might have another reason to be here.
Nikolas: What about you? What are you risking to cover for me?
Lucky: Well, you know, the PCPD doesn't like their officers aiding and abetting fugitives. But it's your call. I'll support whatever you decide.
Nikolas: Yeah, which is kind of odd, since you were the one who had me arrested in the first place.
Lucky: No, you were drunk and a jerk. But you're still my brother. And I got your back.
Lucky: I got to go.
Emily: You see? Turns out you were fighting him for no reason.
Nikolas: I was wrong about a lot of things, especially the way I treated you. I'm sorry. I was really unfair.
Ned: We are delighted to have Sage at L&B, and we have every intention to turn your niece into a big star. But Lois was very wise when she decided to end your financial participation in the company, because your baggage might adversely affect the company. Nothing's changed, Lorenzo. So the further you are away from L&B and its staff -- and that includes Lois -- the better it is for everyone concerned.
Lois: In all fairness to Lorenzo, I'm the one that called him. We actually do have something to discuss, so if you'll excuse us, please.
Ned: All right, fine. But just remember something. It's a mistake to give some people the benefit of the doubt.
Lois: You know, Ned brings up an excellent point. I may have been entirely too trusting of you.
Lorenzo: You know, I feel like I walked into the middle of a book and haven't read any reviews.
Lois: However, you gave me the chance to explain my mysterious behavior, so I feel that I owe you the same courtesy. When I asked you about your allegedly illegal dealings, you came up with this -- um -- very nice elliptical speech about how whatever you do is legal in the countries in which you do it.
Lorenzo: That's true.
Lois: Ok, fine. In that case, you get one shot and one shot only coming clean about that call I heard you make from The Cellar last night. Who and what is landing at which pier? And what are you intending to meet it with?
[Knock on door]
Courtney: Look, I've been trying to reach Jason. He's not picking up his cell phone. Do you have any idea where he is?
Carly: Listen, under any other circumstance, I would be thrilled you're looking for Jason, but Sam is --
Courtney: Ok, look, Carly, it's not the time to play matchmaker, all right? Jason could be in trouble. Do you know where he went?
Carly: Well, I overheard him say that he and max were going to Pier 52 to intercept some shipment, I think.
Courtney: Any chance that they went after Faith?
Carly: I wouldn't say there's no chance. Why? Why are you asking?
Courtney: Because now, thanks to Jax, the police could be waiting.
Jax: Mac, got a minute?
Mac: Yeah, sure. Any chance you've decided to tell us who shot you?
Jax: Faith Rosco. She pulled a gun on me in the park and she tried to force me to fly out of the country. I refused, so she shot me.
Mac: Why didn't you come to us with this days ago?
Jax: Because Courtney was a witness, and I was afraid that if I accused Faith, that she would eliminate Courtney.
Mac: What changed your mind?
Jax: Well, I thought Faith had gone into hiding, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I think she shot at us earlier today.
Mac: You know, Jax, it would have been nice if you'd have informed the patrolman we sent over --
Jax: Well --
Mac: To investigate.
Jax: Mac, Iím here now. You want the statement or not?
Mac: Will Courtney corroborate?
Jax: I doubt it.
Mac: Yeah, well, no big surprise there. Courtney's well indoctrinated. She consistently refuses to cooperate with the police.
Jax: Well, I'm cooperating for her. I want Courtney protected.
Sam: Where's Sonny taking Ric?
Alexis: I have no idea.
Sam: But the case is closed, right? I mean, I confessed. Ric can't charge anyone else. That's the end.
Alexis: Who else would Ric charge, Sam? You acted alone, didn't you?
Ric: You know, this is a complete waste of time, Sonny. I already met with Danny, and -- and I spoke to him at length. That's how I got Sam to agree to confess.
Sonny: What, by threatening her developmentally challenged brother?
Ric: Look, he's a material witness in a murder.
Ric: All right? I told Sam I was going to put him on the stand. Rather than let him be traumatized, she agreed to admit to what she did.
Sonny: You were smart, Ric. And, you know, nobody doubts that. But sometimes, you go about it from the wrong angle.
Danny: Hey, I know you. You're Samís friend.
Ric: Hi, Danny.
Danny: You're brothers, right? Like Iím Samís brother.
Sonny: That's right, Danny.
Danny: Is Sam with you?
Sonny: No, no, she's not, but she wants you to do something very important.
Danny: Sure, I'll do anything for Sam.
Sonny: Ok. Um -- we need you, ok, to tell us what happened the night of the fire.
Danny: No, I promised Sam Iíd never tell, and I never will.
Lorenzo: I'm not crazy about you eavesdropping on my conversation.
Lois: People hear things.
Lorenzo: In any case, I appreciate you giving me a chance to explain.
Lois: Appreciation duly noted. Now, I would love it if you'd move on to the explaining part. Because it sounds to me like you're planning to smuggle something -- "smuggle" being the operative word here, because it implies illegality. Which would mean that your protestations of law-abiding behavior are so much horse pucky.
Lorenzo: I'm not smuggling anything, I give you my word.
Lois: That's supposed to be enough?
Lorenzo: Only you can decide.
Jason: Alcazar said his yacht's going to drop Faith off at 10:00. And I don't have time to waste taking her someplace else, so we are going to handle it here.
Jason: Ok? Now, if something unexpected comes up, I want you prepared to step in and finish it.
Max: Got it.
Courtney: Jason? Look, Jason, I know you're out here. I'm not leaving until you come talk to me!
Jason: What are you doing?
Courtney: Ok, listen to me. Jax went to the police, ok? He's going to tell them everything -- how Faith shot him, how she tried to kill me and Jax. He's going to tell them that you went after her, ok? Just can you -- can you just drop this? Can you call it off? Please, just let the police arrest her and let it be done with.
Jason: Courtney, you need to leave.
Courtney: Did you hear a word that I said? Jason, this is a trap!
Jason: Look, I appreciate your warning, but I know what Iím doing.
Courtney: Ok, fine. Fine -- you know what? If you want to throw your life away, fine, do it. I was stupid to try and stop you.
Mac: We have information that Sonny's going to try to kill Faith Rosco on Pier 52 at 10:00. I want you to observe them until you can testify to intent, then arrest the whole lot of them.
Carly: I need to speak to Sam alone.
Alexis: This is completely inappropriate, Carly. You're not supposed to be in here.
Carly: Alexis, you are in no position to argue with me. Get out now.
Alexis: Is that all right with you?
Sam: Carly, Sonny was here. Somehow, he got Ric to leave with him. Now, if Sonny is taking Ric to Danny, I don't --
Carly: Yeah, I hope that's exactly what happened.
Sam: Excuse me?
Carly: I'm sorry, Sam. I really am. But I am not going to allow you to protect Danny at --
Sam: My brother -- no, no, no, no!
Carly: The expense of my family!
Sam: Carly, my brother is innocent. He didn't know what he was doing.
Carly: Look, do you not understand what's going on here? It doesn't matter who started that fire. Sonny lied on the stand to cover for your butt, and now you've confessed, so Ric is going to charge him with perjury.
Sonny: Why don't you have a seat here? Ok, I would -- I need you to listen to me, all right? Sam wants you to tell me everything.
Danny: She didn't say that to me.
Sonny: Yeah, because she's -- uh -- she didn't have a chance. She's -- she had to be somewhere. That's why Ric and I are here. All right? You telling us what happened the night of the fire is -- is the only way to help your sister.
Danny: For real?
Sonny: For real. Can I ask you a few questions?
Sonny: Ok. Where were you when Sam came to get you?
Danny: In the basement.
Sonny: In the basement? Why were you in the basement?
Danny: That's where I lived.
Sonny: Ok. So, she came to get you. Then what happened?
Danny: She was taking me away. I was glad. I loved my sister.
Sonny: Yeah? She loves you, too. She loves you very, very much. What happened next?
Danny: We got in the car. But I forgot my Phillies hat, so I had to go back. And I knocked them over.
Sonny: What did you knock over?
Danny: The candles. They made a loud noise, so I ran. Mom likes them because they smell good. But I can't blow them out like birthday candles. Mom gets mad.
Sonny: Yeah? Right, right. All right. Danny, now, you got to listen very carefully now, because Iím going to ask you something very, very important, ok? When you knocked the candles over, were they lit?
Sonny: What happened next?
Danny: I just said -- I ran.
Sonny: Ran where?
Sonny: All right. Was Sam on the porch or in the car?
Danny: Porch. We walked to the car, and then we left.
Sonny: You did great, Danny. Absolutely great.
Danny: Will Sam come and see me now?
Sonny: Uh -- not right now. She's -- she's doing something else. But you know what? She said that she wanted you to -- to draw a picture.
Danny: Sure! My stuff's in the other room.
Sonny: All right. Take your time, ok, Danny?
[Door opens and closes]
Sonny: You see, Ric? There was no murder. The fire was an accident. Sam confessed to a crime that didn't happen. You're not going to let her go to prison for that, are you?
Emily: Nikolas? Hey. I brought you some clothes. Jeans. And I know you're hungry. There's a sandwich in here.
Nikolas: Thank you.
Emily: Here's some water.
Nikolas: You didn't have to do that. Thank you.
Emily: Well, I'm happy to help. Listen, you'll be safe here. You can rest and think things through.
Nikolas: I don't understand you.
Emily: I'm not that complicated.
Nikolas: Why don't you resent me? I've been so horrible to you; lashing out all the time. One minute, I'm acting like a jealous maniac. And the next Iím pushing you away. I essentially got myself into this mess. And when I asked for your help, you -- instead of slamming the door in my face -- which you would have had every right to have done -- you gave it to me. Why?
Emily: Well, that's how it works when you -- you love someone.
Nikolas: You love who I used to be.
Emily: Don't tell me what I feel. Right or wrong, sane or crazy, whether you ever remember us or not, I love you, Nikolas. And I always will.
Sam: Carly, I protected Sonny. As long as he denies buying a false confession, he'll be safe.
Carly: Ok, you delude yourself all you want. I don't have that luxury. I've noticed this interesting little vibe you've got going with Ric.
Alexis: I'm sorry?
Carly: This overintellectual, neurotic form of flirtation.
Alexis: I have no idea what you're talking about.
Carly: Look, I don't care, Alexis, really I don't. I'm suggesting you use whatever influence that you have over Ric to keep him from charging Sonny with perjury. Because the minute that charge is filed, I will tell the world that Sonny is Kristinaís father.
Jax: I'll say. I thought you'd go running straight to Jason.
Courtney: I did. And, of course, it was a complete waste of time and energy. And Jasonís going to do what he wants to do. And I never have, and I never will be able to influence him. But you know what? It made me realize something. That's exactly how it should be.
Jax: Well, that sounds promising.
Courtney: Jason and I are -- yeah, we're living separate lives. Ok? I'm not part of that world anymore or the violence or the insanity. I don't have to keep Sonny and Jasonís secrets. Oh, boy. This isn't easy to admit.
Jax: No, please, go on. I'm not going to hold it against you.
Courtney: Ok, ok. You were right, going to the police.
Courtney: And -- and I thank you. Not just for clear thinking, but for caring enough to want to protect me.
Jax: Well, you're more than welcome.
Lorenzo: Let's be reasonable. You can't seriously expect me to report back to you on any phone call I make.
Lois: That's not what I asked you.
Lorenzo: I did nothing illegal on this call or any other.
Lois: You know what's really scary? I want to believe you.
Lorenzo: Why is that scary?
Lois: Because in my experience, anything that seems too good to be true usually is. And you seem much too good to be true.
Lorenzo: I'm just not as sinister as people say I am.
Jason: This is no good. Let's go.
Lucky: Hold it right there! You're under arrest.
Sonny: It's obvious, you know, Danny had no intent to kill. But you know what? If there's an investigation or a hearing or a trial, you know, and that kid realizes that he did it, it's going to be worse for him than going to prison.
Ric: Yeah, you're asking me to uphold a false murder confession.
Sonny: Ric, you always said you weren't going to come after me through innocents. And I tell you, there's nothing more innocent than that poor kid in there. Now, you know now that Sam McCall didn't commit the crime. Thank you.
Ric: Ahem. Well, this is a day that'll go down in history. The first time my big brother ever trusted me with the truth about anything.
Mac: Your source was on the money. Sonny had the yacht carrying Faith Rosco to Port Charles blown to kingdom come.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Jax: Let's just call off the bet.
Courtney: I don't want to lose you.
Nikolas: I have to leave.
Emily: What if you get away and remember?
Ric: I trusted you. You just needed an alibi.
Jason: The cops are saying I blew up the boat that killed Faith. We were set up.
Alexis: Go ahead. Tell him.
