Georgie: Just act natural, ok? I will owe you forever.
Lucas: Yeah, sure. Whatever you need.
Lucas: Are you all right?
Georgie: Did you feel anything?
Courtney: What's this? $10 million?
Jax: You won. I lost. Bet's over.
Courtney: But, Jax, the time isn't even up yet.
Jax: It is for me.
Jax: Because now nothing will stop us from spending the night together.
Jason: I know you're in there.
Ric: Well, hello to you, too. So what am I doing here, big brother?
Ric: Look, I know you didn't summon me here to spend some quality time as siblings, so what's up?
Sonny: I have a business proposition.
Ric: This should be interesting.
Sonny: I've decided to cooperate and give up Sam McCall.
Carly: Hmm. You look scared. Are you?
Sam: No, not for a second.
Carly: Well, you should be, because I'm not leaving until I know the truth.
Sam: What do you want me to tell you, Carly? You -- you want me to lie and say I killed my mother on purpose?
Carly: I want you to admit that you're playing Jason for everything; that you're using this baby to manipulate him so you can get Sonny.
Sam: Back off, Carly, or you will get more than you bargained for.
Georgie: So I -- I guess I should explain why I kissed you.
Lucas: That'd be a start.
Georgie: Well, first of all, did you -- can you be completely honest with me first?
Georgie: Did you feel -- you know, did that get you going?
Lucas: Get me going, like, how?
Georgie: You know, like, boy-girl. I mean, were you -- were you turned on by that at all?
Lucas: We're cousins.
Georgie: Yeah, only by adoption, not really biologically. You know, maybe -- maybe I should just try again now that you're ready.
Lucas: You're a really cute girl, but I'm the wrong guy to be trying this with. We've known each other all our lives. Kissing is, like, incest or something.
Georgie: Right, so it's nauseating, disgusting, gross. I get it.
Lucas: No, no, no, no. Not at all. Just weird.
Georgie: Right, that makes sense. I'm sorry for jumping you.
Lucas: Don't apologize. Just tell me what's wrong.
Georgie: Nothing. It was an experiment, like I said.
Lucas: Well, aren't you with Dillon? Is everything ok?
Georgie: Yes, everything's fine. It was impulse. Could we just forget it ever happened?
Lucas: If that's what you want.
Georgie: Yeah, it is.
Lucas: All right, well, let me know if anything's wrong or you need any help.
Georgie: Ok. I will, I promise.
Lucas: Hey -- if you need any help or if anything's wrong, let me know.
Brook Lynn: Hey. At least he said you were cute.
Georgie: Puppies are cute. Polka dots are cute. Dillon can't make love with me because I have zero sex appeal!
Jax: You've given up your mission to help children at risk?
Courtney: Did it occur to you that maybe I just simply don't want to end the bet?
Jax: The bet is getting in the way of our budding --
Jax: I like to think that we defy description.
Courtney: I'll win that $10 million, Jax, by doing exactly what we agreed -- by refusing to sleep with you for the full three months.
Jax: Courtney, I am giving you a way out. Why not take it?
Courtney: Because I want to win the bet fair and square, ok? No rigged game, no early concession.
Jax: I'm the one that is giving up, not you.
Courtney: Look, I don't want to take money for a job half done, Jax, ok? But when the time is up and you haven't seduced me, I will happily, happily collect my check for my foundation. But I am way too competitive to let you just hand the victory over to me. What? What are you -- what are you smiling about?
Jax: Competitive my eye! You just can't get enough of the foreplay, can you?
Ric: So you can deliver Sam?
Sonny: That's right.
Ric: Ok. Well, I got a couple of questions. One is, how? And the other is more obvious -- why?
Sonny: Sam's proved to be unreliable. Jason's lost his objectivity because she's carrying his child. It's got to stop. I can't let Jason get in any deeper.
Ric: All right. So, how do you intend to find Sam?
Sonny: Jason's hiding her somewhere. I'm going to make him see the truth, show him the facts of the Evelyn Mest murder case. Forensics, photos -- whatever I got to do to prove to him that he's -- you know, he's protecting a sociopath. He'll give up Sam.
Ric: Why do you need me?
Sonny: Why do I need you?
Sonny: Because I need you to give me a copy of the murder file on Samís mother. That way I can show the evidence to Jason, and he'll tell me where he's hiding Sam.
Ric: You're very convincing. You know how to tell somebody what they want to hear. The only problem is, Sonny, I know exactly what you're up to.
Sam: I'm warning you, Carly -- leave me alone.
Carly: Or what? You going to burn my hair? You going to burn down my apartment, hurt my kids? What?
Sam: No. You know, there are other ways to hurt you.
Carly: You're the one who's going to hurt, Sam. You're a murderer. All I need to do is call the D.A.'S s office. I will --
Sam: Push this any further and I will have Jason take me out of the country so we can raise our child in peace. You say you love him, that you're his best friend? Back off, or you'll never see him again.
Carly: Jason. Are you hearing any of this? Because Sam thinks that she owns you and that you will do whatever she wants. Do you get this, Jason? Sam is not a victim, she is a predator.
Sam: That is ridiculous. You came here to threaten me.
Carly: She knows how much Sonny and I love you, that you are family and now she wants to steal you like you are a watch or a car.
Sam: That is not true, Carly, and you know it!
Carly: She wants to rip you out of our lives. You know what? She is just this dangerous woman.
Sam: No, I wanted her out of here.
Carly: She is an arsonist, she is a murderer, and she's a danger to all of us, especially to you. You know that!
Sam: You're the one who feels threatened because Iím carrying this baby.
Carly: Oh, God, Jason, just call the cops on her. Call the cops.
Sam: Jason, please don't listen to her.
Carly: As soon as she has this baby, they will give it to you!
Jason: Ok, that's enough! Give me a moment alone with Carly, Sam.
Sam: No one is going to take my child.
Carly: Will you listen to that act -- all Mother Courage, pretending that she is --
Jason: Carly, stop.
Carly: All she does is lie, Jason.
Jason: You came to me when you were pregnant and you asked for my protection, right?
Carly: That has nothing to do with this situation here.
Jason: I covered your back and made sure you kept Michael when everyone else thought you didn't deserve him. Why can't you see I need to do this?
Carly: She's using you.
Jason: Carly, please, just leave her alone.
Carly: Jase, what has happened to you? Why can you not see that she is a danger?
Jason: And I'll protect Sam and the baby from anyone, Carly. And that includes you. So don't convince yourself that you're helping me because I don't need it and I don't want it.
Courtney: Foreplay implies a prelude to sex, which you and I will never have.
Jax: Wow. That sounds like a challenge.
Courtney: No, it's a statement of fact, Jax. I mean, what, you bet me $10 million that you could seduce me in three months, and I'm going to prove to you that you canít.
Jax: Really? So you're enjoying the bet?
Courtney: I'm enjoying the fact that I'm going to win.
Jax: Are you enjoying the romance?
Courtney: No, it's just something that I agreed to put up with.
Jax: See, I don't agree with that because if it was only about helping children at risk, you would've taken the money as soon as possible. But if it's about the attraction between us --
Courtney: Oh, here we go.
Jax: I totally understand that you want to keep the bet going for as long as possible.
Courtney: And why would that be?
Jax: Because you know that eventually we'll make love, and you're afraid that when we do, that the challenge will be over and perhaps I'll move on to someone else.
Courtney: Oh, my God, you have to be the most delusional, narcissistic, arrogant man I have ever met.
Jax: Yes, you're right. I'm insufferable.
Jax: Which is why you dread spending time with me; letting me wine and dine you and seduce you.
Courtney: Ok, fine, Jax. All right, you want a compliment? Ok, fine. You -- you're a halfway decent companion.
Jax: "A halfway decent --"
Courtney: You're a good dancer.
Courtney: When you try to be, you can be charming and funny. But there's just no way I'm ever going to sleep with you.
Jax: There's just one other thing.
Ric: You know, Sonny, I'm more inclined to think that the reason you want to see the murder file on Samís mom is because -- oh, I don't know -- maybe you want to find a loophole. You know, dismantle state's evidence, the end result of course being that Samís guilty verdict would be vacated and she'd be set free.
Sonny: I don't want Sam free. I want Jason free of her. He's getting unreliable.
Ric: Oh, he's starting to think for himself, huh? Can't have that.
Sonny: You're not going to find Sam McCall on your own. If I wanted to protect her, Iíd just keep doing what Iím doing.
Sonny: Hey, you know what, Ric? For once, we're working together.
Ric: I doubt that.
Sonny: I mean, I -- you know, I want my business secure. I want Jasonís loyalty back. You want your face on TV; maybe get a little reward from the F.B.I., right? Sam McCall in prison is best for everyone, right?
Ric: And the fact that you and she used to date, that's, what?
Sonny: Well, you know, she slept with Jax, Jason, me. She's never showed me no loyalty. I owe her nothing.
Ric: All right. Maybe we can work something out.
Courtney: All right, all right, yeah, that's enough. That's enough! Ahem.
Courtney: Excuse me?
Jax: Well, not in the physical sense. Just, you know, you're obviously brave enough.
Courtney: Try me.
Jax: No, I think you mentioned that kickboxing thing --
Courtney: Yeah, I'd be happy to give you a personal demonstration anytime.
Jax: See, obviously, you have no problem with heights. You were standing right next to the edge of the cliff, and you're a strong swimmer. I mean, you fell in near-freezing water, and that didn't slow you down.
Courtney: So what's your point?
Jax: You're afraid to kiss me again.
Courtney: What do you mean?
Jax: Well, since we started this bet, you've only initiated one kiss. That was the night we came back from Italy.
Courtney: So what?
Jax: So I think I scared you because -- because you obviously liked it. I mean, which was, you know, no surprise to me, but obviously it was a huge surprise to you. You thought that you could stay indifferent to me --
Courtney: I am indifferent.
Jax: Is that right?
Jax: You kiss guys like that all the time, do you?
Courtney: I don't, no.
Jax: Oh, so, what, were you just teasing me, huh? Just get me all hot and bothered, then just shove me out the door?
Courtney: Yeah, maybe.
Jax: Or maybe you did it because you couldn't help yourself.
Courtney: Oh, believe me, I can help myself.
Jax: Ok. Then kiss me again and take all the initiative and prove that you don't feel anything.
Courtney: Forget it.
Jax: Ok. Coward.
Courtney: No, I am just wise to you. Ok, look, Jax, there is nothing in the bet that says anything about me kissing you. All I have to do is endure your wining and dining and put up with your transparent attempts at getting me into bed.
Courtney: Speaking of which --
Jax: You want to go to bed?
Courtney: I want to go to dinner, ok?
Courtney: And since I did all the cooking while we were camping, Iím going to let you buy.
Jax: Ok. Just one condition -- you kiss me good night.
Ric: So Iíll assemble all the evidence against Sam and I'll get it back to the penthouse as soon as possible.
Sonny: The sooner the better.
Ric: Nice to have a witness. First time ever, big brother and I are on common ground. Good night.
Carly: Were you playing him?
Sonny: Well, you know, he has something I need, and I just told him what he wanted to hear.
Carly: Ok, so why did you want to see evidence on Sam?
Sonny: It's just business. You know, same old thing.
Carly: No, it's not, Sonny. Sam is in a position to tear this family apart.
Sonny: What do you mean?
Carly: Well, it's that baby. That baby she is carrying. She's going to use it to control Jasonís life.
Sonny: Jason knows what he's doing.
Carly: Yeah, well, she just said that she could get Jason to take her out of the country permanently.
Sonny: You went to see Sam?
Sonny: At -- at the safe house?
Carly: Mm-hmm, that's right.
Sonny: Well, why did you go there?
Carly: I went looking for you.
Sam: Do I get to defend myself?
Jason: You don't need to.
Sam: Because you believe me, or because you believe Carly?
Jason: Because I know that you don't want to disappear.
Sam: No, Jason, I don't. I'd rather not have to raise my baby on the run or have her growing up using an alias.
Jason: Well, don't go around threatening Carly, Sam.
Sam: She was threatening me.
Jason: Ok, you know what, Sam? I -- whatever. I don't care who started it. Carly's vicious when she feels threatened. She'll fight anyone; she'll do anything to hold on to her family, and that includes me. She's afraid you're going to take me away. You got a lot more trouble than you can handle already. So the next time Carly comes over here, do yourself a favor -- keep your mouth shut and let me deal with her.
Lorenzo: Well, aren't you here late.
Lois: Yeah, it's my company. What's your excuse?
Lorenzo: Sage left me a message. I assume she's been working on something she wanted me to hear.
Lois: So you don't object to her recording at L&B?
Lorenzo: To quote a business associate, "Jury's still out."
Lois: Yeah, well, it's kind of a liability issue, you know, having her here recording on the equipment without being under contract.
Lorenzo: I'd be happy to sign a waiver, as long as you don't try to release anything Sage records.
Lois: So are you saying you want her to hang out here, gain experience, soak up the benefit of my expertise, and then, what, take her to another label?
Lorenzo: Well, I want to make sure Sage is comfortable at L&B before I commit her to a long-term contract.
Lois: And this seems like a fair and equitable arrangement for you? I do all the work and wind up with bubkes?
Lorenzo: I'm not familiar with that term.
Lois: All right, let me give you another term -- "Sucker," which is what I would be if I went for your deal. No, she is going to go under contract just like every other artist.
Lorenzo: All right, you are making a crucial mistake.
Lois: Which I am sure you're going to point out to me, aren't you?
Lorenzo: Don't make ultimatums unless you're prepared to see them through. The simple fact is you need me more than I need you.
Dillon: Hey, Alan?
Alan: Hi, Dillon.
Dillon: Um -- you have a minute?
Alan: Actually, I've got a patient in -- what is it?
Dillon: Uh -- ok, it's actually something kind of personal and -- uh -- intimate.
Alan: Have you contracted a sexually transmitted disease?
Dillon: No, no, no, no, no, nothing like that. It's actually kind of like that. I don't know, it's not a disease per se.
Alan: Do you have a rash or a burning sensation?
Dillon: Uh -- there's no sensation. At all.
Alan: You're going to have to be more specific.
Dillon: Ok -- um -- I don't -- I can't -- I don't have -- um --
Alan: Have a what?
Alan: Oh, that's my patient. I'm going to have to go.
Dillon: No, no, I'll wait, I'll wait.
Alan: It's going to be quite a while.
Dillon: Yeah, no problem. Well, there's a -- yeah, there's a problem, but Iíll wait.
Alan: Ok. All right.
Alan: Wait a second. Here is a doctor I am sure who can answer all of your questions. Dillon, I want you to meet Dr. Metcalf. She happens to be a specialist in the area that we were just discussing. Dr. Metcalf, this is my nephew Dillon. He has a personal problem that he's hoping that you could help him resolve.
Dr. Metcalf: Well, I have a few minutes to spare.
Alan: I'll see you later.
Dillon: He's good. He's actually misinformed. I'm -- Iím fine. I -- I have a friend who has a little problem.
Dr. Metcalf: Well, what kind of problem is your friend experiencing?
Dillon: Uh -- well, he -- he can't -- there's -- ok -- uh -- there's a girl, and he really loves her very, very much and wants to be with her. But when they --
Dr. Metcalf: He's impotent?
Dillon: This is a mistake. This is a very big mistake. So Iím going to actually -- I'm going to go, and Iím going to let you --
Dr. Metcalf: There's nothing to be embarrassed about. A lot of young men experience temporary erectile dysfunction.
Jason: Where do you see your life going, six months, a year from now?
Sam: I don't know. I really haven't thought about it. I guess I've just been in survival mode, you know? When you spend your life running from place to place, I really don't think you focus on where you're going to end up. Why do I feel like I just flunked a test?
Jason: I don't know. Were you taking one?
Sam: What is this about?
Jason: It's about you. I promised to help you, and I don't know much about you.
Sam: Well, I don't know you that well, either, Jason.
Jason: It's not that complicated. What you see is what you get.
Sam: Not necessarily. But at least you do say what you mean.
Jason: All right, then listen. I put myself on the line for you and the baby, and that's fine because it's what I promised to do, but I need something back.
Sam: Like what?
Jason: I need to know that you're putting this baby first; that you're going to start thinking like a mother instead of running scared from whatever it was you did wrong.
Sam: Yeah. I mean, that much I can promise. I will always put my daughter first.
Carly: Max said you were at the safe house. When I got there, Sam was alone.
Sonny: Jason and I had already left.
Carly: So you went there looking for Jason?
Carly: Because it's so funny -- every time I walk in on you and Sam, you two are alone, you say you went to see Jason, he's never around.
Sonny: Jason and Sam are together now, Carly.
Sonny: I mean, now, look, I haven't been with Sam since before Michael had his accident. I went over there because I needed to meet with Jason because --
Carly: What? Sonny, what's wrong?
Sonny: Nothing, nothing.
Carly: You hurting?
Sonny: I'm fine, I'm fine.
Carly: Have you been taking your medicine, Sonny?
Sonny: I'm not taking it because I've already healed. I'm fine.
Carly: Sonny, come on. That's not smart.
Sonny: No, you've seen me. I look stronger, don't I? Come on. Next week I'm going to go boxing.
Carly: That would be a very bad idea.
Sonny: I'm just kidding. I just can't take the medication because it messes with my thinking, and, you know, I need to be clear on what Iím doing.
Carly: Right. Is Faith threatening you?
Sonny: Why do you say Faith? What do you mean?
Carly: Because I saw the two of you on the pier, and she seemed so sure of herself.
Sonny: Ok --
Carly: And so I asked her --
Sonny: You've got to stay -- you've got to stay away from Faith.
Carly: Listen to me, Sonny. Sam's wack job of a boyfriend was not working with Lorenzo so that leaves Faith, and she almost killed you. You are still healing, and I need to make sure that you are --
Sonny: I'm taking care of everything.
Carly: Sonny, I am not attacking you right now!
Sonny: I know you're not, so --
Carly: I am worried about you!
Carly: You have been shot at again. Jason has lost his mind for some reason over Sam, and I seem to be the only one who cares that she is a murderer and an arsonist. And you are telling me to leave this alone. But my family -- it feels to me that my family is being threatened, and every instinct that I have is telling me to fight.
Sonny: I'm asking you not to. Faith is nothing. She'll be dealt with. Sam -- she's pregnant. She's not a threat to anyone. She's afraid for her child. That's why she's in the safe house, because she knows if the cops find her there they're going to send her to prison for life. I know you don't care about that, but Sam made a mistake, she's been paying for it for years. You and I both know what that's about. You do something in the moment, you're angry, you don't think. You think you're doing the right thing, it turns out to be the wrong thing, it spirals out of control, and then it's -- it's threatening to bury your life. What do you do? So she -- Sam ran, she lied. It's not like, you know, we haven't lied before.
Carly: So you are going to protect her.
Sonny: Well, you know -- it would be best for everybody for this murder case to be set aside, and Sam could just be free.
Dillon: Wait a -- ok, hold on a sec. Are you saying that I might have diabetes?
Dr. Metcalf: Not necessarily. It's just one of the many possible causes of erectile dysfunction in young men. Depression is another, exhaustion, anxiety, stress, having too much to drink, being overly concerned with sexual performance. And most of these problems are easily solved, and the conditions are almost always temporary.
Dillon: Wait, wait -- easily solved? By what?
Dr. Metcalf: Psychotherapy, meditation, a better sleep regimen, abstinence from alcohol.
Dillon: That's great. Is there anything that goes a little faster, like a pill maybe?
Dr. Metcalf: There are drugs that can be used to treat impotence.
Dillon: That's great, that's good, this is good. Where do I get that?
Dr. Metcalf: I can only prescribe it after a thorough physical examination. If you call my office, I can fit you in next week.
Dillon: Ok. Is there anything maybe, like, over the counter that I can just buy?
Dr. Metcalf: No, and I strongly caution you not to self-medicate with drugs ordered online.
Brook Lynn: You know what? Maybe wholesome and natural --
Georgie: Is a bore, which means I'm a complete lost cause.
Brook Lynn: Georgie, look, ok, for the last time, Dillon told you that he loves you, right?
Georgie: Yeah -- in a girl-next-door kind of way.
Brook Lynn: Look, don't get yourself down.
Georgie: It's called reality.
Brook Lynn: Look, you guys -- you guys almost did it so many times.
Georgie: Yeah, but guys like the chase. I mean, they like what they can't have. "Yes." "When?" "How soon?" I mean, it's a total turnoff.
Brook Lynn: I think Sage is kind of in your face about it, though, right?
Georgie: That doesn't count. She's a walking billboard for sex. Guys are always into her.
Brook Lynn: Ok, well, Georgie, what do you think she does right?
Georgie: Talks like a tramp, walks like a tramp, acts like a tramp. Therefore, she is a tramp.
Brook Lynn: Look, she probably just makes her move without talking about it. You might want to try that.
Georgie: Wait a minute. So you're saying that I should tell Dillon I've suddenly had these second thoughts about having sex and then put the chase back into it?
Brook Lynn: No. What Iím saying is you should probably stop thinking about sex.
Georgie: Yeah, right.
Brook Lynn: Georgie, no, seriously. Look, I think all of the concentrating on the subject is making it kind of like a job.
Lois: You know, L&B is perfectly capable of recruiting new talent. So if you want to take Sage elsewhere, by my guest.
Lorenzo: No, I think I'd prefer to have Sage at L&B.
Lois: Then why are you dragging this out?
Lorenzo: Maybe I like negotiation.
Lois: Maybe I don't like having my time wasted. Raise or call.
Lorenzo: You play poker?
Lois: On occasion.
Lorenzo: What about backgammon?
Lois: Yeah, sure. Also chess, checkers, and go fish. What's your point?
Lorenzo: I like games.
Lois: No. Really? I never would've guessed.
Lorenzo: Good way to get to know someone --
Lorenzo: Figure out how they think.
Lois: Oh. So now you figure you understand how I think, with negotiation being the best game of all?
Lorenzo: You're intelligent, tenacious, resourceful. You think on your feet; you're good at strategy. Really only have one flaw.
Lois: That would be?
Lorenzo: You're much too passionate.
Courtney: Thanks again for dinner. It was delicious.
Jax: Even the escargot?
Courtney: Well, as long as I didn't think of them as snails from my neighbor's garden, yes, they were exquisite.
Jax: You know, you are going to kick yourself tomorrow morning.
Courtney: What, those were garden snails?
Jax: Well, maybe not tomorrow morning, but one day soon you're going to wake up in my arms and you're going to realize tearing up that $10 million check was a huge mistake.
Courtney: Ah, that arrogance with absolutely nothing to support it.
Jax: Courtney, I mean, you've been enjoying the time we're spending together, right?
Courtney: Yeah, I've had a little fun.
Jax: Ok, all I'm saying is that, you know, the fun can turn to romance, and then, you know, before you know it --
Courtney: And then that can turn to the morning that marks the end of our bet, and I'll wake up -- alone -- and I'll say, "Yes, I won." And I will collect that big, fat check, take it to the bank, and deposit it into my foundation's account.
Jax: You really think it's going to be that easy?
Courtney: I know it will.
Jax: Well, then you won't mind paying for dinner because the agreement was --
Courtney: I know. It was I kiss you, ok? I remember.
Courtney: Well, you asked for it.
Jax: Come here, you.
Dillon: Brook Lynn, Georgie.
Brook Lynn: Hi, Dillon.
Dillon: How you doing?
Georgie: Oh, good.
Dillon: Um --
Brook Lynn: You know what? Um -- I'm sorry, I forgot. I got to go get some stuff for Felicia, so I'll see you guys later.
Georgie: Bye. So, are you up for a movie?
Dillon: Uh -- yeah. Sure.
Georgie: Or would you rather just hang? Or, you know, we could -- we could go to the park and watch the moon rise.
Dillon: Anything you want to do is cool, ok?
Georgie: You know, I -- I got to go pick -- I got to go swing by the market and help my -- Dillon, I'm -- Iím sorry, ok? This isn't you. I'm an idiot. I'm going.
Singers: It isn't easy smiling and just feeling down or to say what I feel around everyone else wanna throw out the truth but I so compromise
Singer: It isn't easy to see me
Lois: You think I'm too passionate?
Lorenzo: You want things too much. Gives your opponent the advantage.
Lois: Really? Well, you don't want anything?
Lorenzo: No, I want a great deal. I just choose not to telegraph it.
Lois: Maybe because you're a cold-hearted, greedy reptile with ice in his veins.
Lois: Yes. Maybe you don't care that you're crushing your niece's dreams or exploiting my good intentions.
Lorenzo: Oh, now you're trying to make me feel guilty.
Lois: Are you even capable of that emotion?
Lorenzo: When the occasion merits, which this one doesn't. Actually, I'm in awe of you, Ms. Cerullo. You're a formidable negotiator.
Lois: Why, thank you.
Lorenzo: But we still don't have a deal.
Sam: Thank you.
Jason: Is Carly here?
Sonny: She took the kids to her motherís. We didn't fight. She just went over there for dinner.
Jason: She was at the safe house.
Sonny: Yeah, I know. She saw me on the docks with Faith, talking to Faith, and she worried, so she went after me, but I know it's just an excuse. She wanted to find me with Sam.
Jason: Do you think she knows?
Sonny: Yeah, Jason, I think she does, maybe not consciously. You keep saying the baby's yours. She wants to believe it because you're somebody she can count on. But underneath it, it doesn't feel right, you know? It's like you walk into a room that's been searched. Everything's where you left it, but something's off, and you know it. I keep waiting. I keep waiting for Carly to ask me if the baby's really mine because Iím wondering, what am I going to say? How much further can I keep going with this lie, Jason? I mean, I don't care -- you know, I don't care anymore that Faith is blackmailing me because part of me wants to put a bullet in her head so the letter can get delivered to Carly so Carly can look at me point-blank and say, "Hey, is Samís baby yours?" And I can say, "Yeah, Carly, I fathered that baby, and I lied, and I'm not going to lie anymore!"
Jason: People live with secrets, Sonny. You've done it most of your life.
Sonny: For business, Jason.
Jason: Yeah, for money and for power. Isn't your family more important? Carly trusts me. You don't think it kills me to look her in the face and lie? But I know it's for her. Because whatever else Carly is, she's a good mother. She doesn't want to tear Michaelís life apart. She's been backed into a corner, and she's going to leave you, and I can't watch Michael go through that again!
Sonny: I don't know how much longer I can do this. You know what I'm saying?
