Jax: Hey. Hey. You want to -- you want to join me for a few laps around the zoo?
Courtney: I'd rather eat bananas with the apes. They're more civilized.
Jax: Wow, it's chillier than I realized out here.
Courtney: You know, Jax, if you think I've forgotten that crack you made about Jason, you're wrong.
Jason: Meyer, I need a check drawn up for a million dollars. It's got to be anonymous. Make it out to Courtneyís children's foundation.
Alexis: Hi, honey! Morning! How are you? Hi, sweetie! Oh, my God -- how did I get here?
Woman: That nice Mr. Lansing brought you home last night. You were a little --
Woman: Yeah. He left you a note over there.
Alexis: Thank you.
Alexis: Bye, honey. Oh. Ow. Ow, ow, ow, ow. Oh --
Ricís voice: "Good morning, counselor, or as they called you at The Cellar, the Duchess of Dips. The second bail hearing for Skyeís been called for 9:00 am. See you in court."
Alexis: Oh, God. Oh.
Skye: Lucky -- thank God you came back.
Lucky: Where's my dad?
Skye: I -- I have no idea. I don't know. I -- you know, Ric has this ridiculous theory that I took Laura out of the sanitarium because I wanted Luke, and that I killed Ross Duncan to frame her. I mean, it's crazy. I --
Lucky: Lansing, I need a minute.
Ric: Oh, let me guess. You got word from your father that Skye was in trouble and you're here to tell me that I made a gross miscarriage of justice by arresting her.
Lucky: No. I want you to throw the book at her.
Nikolas: You're still here.
Emily: Yeah. I've been waiting for you.
Jax: I was just trying to open your eyes to the facts.
Courtney: What, that given the choice, Jason would choose Sam, the woman who's having his baby, over me? Why don't you just get it over with and state the obvious? Sam can give Jason a baby when I couldn't.
Jax: I didn't mean to be hurtful.
Courtney: Oh. Well, that's reassuring, because I would really hate to think about what you would do if you were intentionally cruel.
Jax: You know, perhaps I should just, you know -- you're upset, obviously, so maybe I should just bow out of the bet and leave you alone.
Courtney: So -- so you want to weasel out of the $10 million you promised my foundation, now that you've realized that you don't stand a chance of winning?
Courtney: Is that it?
Jax: You couldn't be more wrong. I am an honorable man.
Courtney: Uh-huh. Ok, then admit defeat and pay up.
Jax: No. No. Actually, on second thought, $10 million still says that you will sleep with me before the clock runs out. Come on. No hard feelings?
Courtney: Just save yourself the humiliation, Jax, and cough up the cash. I'll be at The Cellar, working on the charity event.
Sam: I don't get it. Why didn't you just give Courtney the check yourself?
Sam: Why? She'd turn it down?
Jason: It's a long story.
Sam: Does it bother you to be shut out of her life?
Jason: It's better this way, all right?
Sam: Is that why you were in such a rush to get me home from the hospital? Because you wanted to get away from Courtney?
Jason: What are you talking about? You were tired. You passed out on the couch as soon as we got home.
Sam: You are avoiding the question right now. You're keeping your distance from Courtney because it hurts you too much to see her.
Ric: So what caused this sudden change of heart?
Lucky: Listen, I found this under my door this morning. It's from my dad.
Skye: Excuse me, what's going on?
Lucky: My dad found my mom.
Skye: That's -- then it means that's it. Then it's over, right?
Ric: "Lucky, I'm ok and so is your mom. I can't tell you where we are, but it all makes sense now. I think -- I think Skye set us up."
Skye: No, that -- that's wrong. That -- that's got to be a mistake.
Ric: Yeah, I'm afraid you made it. This letter makes it definitive.
Nikolas: Mary's gone through a lot of trouble to keep me hid. She'd -- she'd flip out if she knew you've seen me alive.
Emily: Yeah, I'm sure she would.
Nikolas: I tell you, you know, she's been through so much. I just -- I just want this trip to be a new beginning for the both of us.
Emily: Why -- why do you need to start over?
Nikolas: Because it's just -- it's just too frustrating not to remember anything, knowing I was injured in Iraq and deserted the marines, came home and yet everything's just a clean slate in my head. I just need to --
Emily: You really don't remember anything?
Nikolas: No. Just waking up with Mary by my side and telling me that Iím her husband.
Nikolas: It feels good to get away for a while, though. Come to a place that's -- that's new to the both of us and renew our wedding vows, make new memories together. Do you know what a coincidence it is that -- that you're here, as well? I mean, how did you happen to pick this place?
Emily: Uh -- my -- my fiancť booked this trip for us -- uh -- before he died. He wanted to surprise me.
Nikolas: You loved him a great deal, didn't you?
Emily: He was wonderful. He was generous and -- and kind, and I could -- I could barely stand to be apart from him. Um --
Nikolas: What? What, my cross?
Nikolas: What about it?
Emily: I -- I don't mean to pry, but where'd you get it?
Nikolas: Oh. Well, Mary said that she gave it to me before I went overseas to keep me safe. Why? Why do you ask?
Emily: Um -- I was just curious. A cross usually has meaning for the person wearing it.
Nikolas: Yeah, well, this is -- this was the -- a first connection I made when I woke up, the first spark that I might remember something -- where I came from, who I was, the woman that --
Emily: What? What woman?
Nikolas: The woman that loved me.
Emily: What's wrong?
Nikolas: Nothing. No, it's -- no, it's just that all of this seems so familiar to me.
Nikolas: I'm not sure.
Emily: Well, think. Think. Maybe something will come back to you.
Nikolas: Well, I saw -- I saw photos of this resort in a -- in a travel magazine, and -- Emily, it was like I -- it was like I recognized this place. Like -- like somehow, I was supposed to be here.
Emily: Nikolas always said that things happen for a reason.
Nikolas: Nikolas, of course. I'm really sorry he passed away. I know you miss him a lot.
Emily: I'll never stop loving him.
Nikolas: Yeah. I can tell by what you said at the memorial.
Nikolas: I -- I had been in the church earlier. I lost my cross and went back to get it. I saw the service for Nikolas. And I just -- I was outside the doors, and I just listened. It was really beautiful, what you said.
Emily: Yeah. That church was -- was special to Nikolas and me. You know, I -- I felt his presence there so strongly after he died. We -- we went there alone one night to say our -- our wedding vows.
Nikolas: Yeah, that's -- oh -- that's why Mary and I came here. I have a new job and it pays pretty well. My boss treated us to this trip. I knew that renewing our vows would mean a lot to Mary, but I had no idea how much they would mean to me. I mean, I -- I felt every word -- the joy, the commitment, the promise of a second chance with somebody I loved. Yeah. And Mary? Wow, she -- she looked beautiful. I'll never forget -- Iíll never forget the way her eyes were shining when she -- when she looked up at me.
Nikolas: Hey. What's wrong? What'd I say?
Alexis: Hi, sweetie. Ok. Guess what. You have to turn the TV off. Too much TV. Read a book. There you go, ok? You read a nice book -- "Runaway Bunny."
Ric: Luke and Laura Spencer are still on the run and to be considered fugitives. However, new evidence has been brought to light that will be shown in the hearing this morning to show that the people have a very, very strong case. We have a witness' statement, as well as forensic evidence that will show --
Alexis: Oh, my God.
Ric: Skye Quartermaine murdered detective Ross Duncan --
Alexis: He's got a hickey.
Ric: And afterwards tried to pin the murder on an innocent woman.
Georgie: So, did you get any studying done for the calculus final?
Georgie: Dillon, it's today.
Dillon: I got something better. You know the voice? She was here. I saw her.
Georgie: Are you sure you weren't dreaming?
Dillon: Georgie, she's real, ok? I staked out the studio in order to find her. I kind of glazed over my calculus textbook and fell asleep, but --
Georgie: Like I said, Dillon --
Dillon: No -- no, listen to me, listen to me. When I woke up, I woke up to her voice. And there she was, in all of her glory. Her name is Lynn. She's a runaway. She -- well, she doesn't want to be a professional singer, but --
Georgie: So let me get this straight. She comes to a studio in the middle of the night to what, get it out of her system?
Dillon: I don't know. Maybe she does, ok? She had -- I guess she had, like, a bad experience with somebody who tried to commercialize her talent, all right? But this girl, Georgie -- I can talk her into singing. You can see that she loves music in her eyes. It's written all over her. She wears this -- she wears this, like, 1960s retro super cool jacket all the time. I -- I let her stay at the studio last night.
Georgie: And were you hoping she'd sing a song to say thank you?
Dillon: I -- I don't -- I don't know. I mean, when I fell asleep, the recorder was on, so whatever song she was singing when I woke up is going to be on there.
Georgie: Dillon, listen to me. I know that you wanted to find a great singer for L&B. I know that. But you fell asleep and you fantasize.
Lynnís voice: Whoa whoa, whoa, whoa yeah, yeah
Dillon: What do you think?
Lynn's voice: Whoa whoa, whoa, whoa
Ned: She's great.
Lynn's voice: Yeah, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ned: So, where is she?
Lynn's voice: Whoa whoa, whoa, whoa yeah, yeah
Courtney: Oh, boy, I wish Carly was here to help me with this charity event. I could really use her expertise.
Bartender: Well, she left you that estimate for food and liquor and music.
Courtney: Yeah. I mean, who knew it cost so much to get people to donate money? Maybe I need a sponsor.
Messenger: Courtney Mathews?
Messenger: There you go.
Courtney: Oh. Thank you.
Courtney: Oh, wait -- here.
Messenger: Oh, no, no.
Courtney: No, here.
Messenger: Oh, thank you.
Courtney: Ok. Oh -- um -- I guess getting money for the benefit won't be a problem anymore. Someone just donated a million dollars to the foundation.
Bartender: Who's it from?
Courtney: I have no idea. It's anonymous.
Skye: Lucky -- Lucky, you can't possibly believe that letter. It's got to be a forgery.
Lucky: Skye, I took it to the department and had it analyzed. My dad wrote it.
Skye: Well, it makes no sense!
Lucky: Would you just give it up? You're going to go to prison for what you put my mother through.
Skye: Excuse me, where in God's name have you been?
Alexis: I'm sorry, I had unforeseen difficulties.
Skye: Yeah, you mentioned that on the phone earlier before cutting me off.
Alexis: My cell phone died. I forgot to charge it last night. Listen, everything is under control. It really is. Luke's letter is inadmissible. Don't worry. We need to talk.
Ric: Well, well, well, look who's here. I didn't expect to see you this morning. One would think you were out drinking and dancing and doing God knows what else last -- oh, that's right, you did.
Alexis: I need a minute of your time.
Ric: I don't have any time. The court's in session.
Alexis: This isn't about court; this is about last night. Nothing happened, right?
Ric: Are you implying that I took advantage of your somewhat inebriated state?
Bailiff: The judge is ready to begin.
Ric: See you inside.
Sam: Are you always like this? I mean, if someone says something that makes you uncomfortable, you just ignore them like it never happened?
Jason: I'm not uncomfortable.
Sam: Then admit that you're avoiding Courtney because you have feelings for her.
Jason: What I feel doesn't matter. Courtney and I are over.
Sam: Yeah, but you loved each other, enough to spend the rest of your lives together until somehow or other, you managed to mangle it up, just like Sonny and Carly.
Jason: Well, they had their own -- they had their reasons, Sam.
Sam: Ugh -- everybody does, Jason. How often do people really live happily ever after? Practically never, as far as I can tell, which is why I've stayed away from love; why I tried to resist Sonny. And look what happened to me because I couldn't. I bet you wish you worked harder to get me to walk away.
Jason: I don't wish for things. There's no point.
Sam: I see.
Sam: Don't waste time thinking about what you almost had, or hoping for something more. Deal with reality and move on, right?
Jason: That's right.
Sam: See, this is why we can do this, Jason. This is why you can live with me, why you can pretend to be the baby's father, and why Sonny is ok with this. All three of us know it won't compromise you, because you'll never love me.
Bartender: These just arrived for you.
Courtney: Oh, lilacs. They're gorgeous. Thank you.
Jax: Well, glad you liked them.
Courtney: Oh, they're from you? Ahem.
Jax: Well, there was quite a chill between us this morning. I thought the flowers might warm things up a little.
Courtney: Hmm. Well, you happen to be in luck because I love lilacs.
Jax: I hope you accept them.
Courtney: I will. Thanks. And thank you for the check, Jax.
Jax: What check?
Courtney: Oh, come on. Don't play innocent. It doesn't suit you. That million dollars -- it'll come in handy. And sending it anonymously -- that was -- that was a nice touch, but I know that it was your way of apologizing, and it worked.
Nikolas: Emily -- Emily, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gone on about renewing my wedding vows when I know you're grieving for someone. I'm sorry.
Emily: No, no, no -- don't -- don't apologize. I'm just -- I'm so moved by how you talk about Mary. Um -- the love you found and the -- the memories you're making.
Nikolas: Well, there's plenty of room for them.
Emily: You don't seem upset about losing your past.
Nikolas: Well, I just -- you know, I just try to stay focused on how happy I am now.
Emily: Maybe there's something you're missing. Some -- some part of your life that would seem more complete if only you remembered it.
Nikolas: Maybe. But, you know, Mary and I have our -- have our memories now. And we'll remember them in the future. That has to be enough.
Emily: Are you sure?
Nikolas: Yeah, well, you know, I -- I believe that -- that it's the little things, you know, that make up what two people are to each other. You know, the surprises, the -- the traditions, the holidays, things like that.
Emily: Like St. Viviana's Day?
Nikolas: Like what? What's that?
Emily: It's a -- a tradition that my fiancť made up to distract me.
Nikolas: He made -- he made up a holiday?
Emily: Yeah. In the middle of winter. Um, he -- he wanted to take a -- a walk in the snow so he invented St. Viviana's Day and he claimed that a walk was part of the tradition. Um -- we had a snowball fight. And it was so cold, we -- we could see each other's breath. We laughed so hard that we fell down in the snow. Nikolas told me that he would love me forever.
Nikolas: You should go before Mary sees us together. Please.
Nikolas: Look, I have no right to keep our meeting a secret, but Mary -- she's -- she's just feeling so carefree and happy right now. I -- you know, just give us this time to enjoy each other so she doesn't have to worry about me. Ok?
Emily: All right.
Nikolas: Emily, I'm really sorry for your loss. In time I -- I believe you'll find someone else to love.
Mary: Oh, there you are.
Mary: Why didn't you answer when I called?
Nikolas: Oh. God, I was a little distracted.
Mary: Well, I can't believe how beautiful it is here. Come here.
Mary: Sit down.
Nikolas: Ok. Oh --
Mary: I brought a fruit picnic.
Nikolas: Here, I'll feed you.
Mary: Feed me?
Mary: I feel like Cleopatra.
Nikolas: Well, get used to it, because Iím treating you like royalty for the rest of the honeymoon.
Nikolas: They're good.
Skye: Remember me?
Skye: Your client?
Alexis: Why is everyone talking louder than necessary this morning?
Skye: I want you to get me out on bail.
Alexis: You didn't want to be released last night.
Skye: Well, I changed my mind, ok? I can't stand another night in lockup.
Alexis: Fine. I'll handle it.
Skye: Hi. What are you -- what are you doing here?
Alan: Well, we heard about the hearing on the news, and of course, Tracy couldn't help gloating over the evidence that she provided against you.
Skye: Oh. Well, did Tracy also mention that she was blackmailing Jax and only turned the so-called evidence over to the police when he dumped her?
Edward: I could have told you something like this would happen. In fact, I believe I did. Luke Spencer is nothing but trouble. Where is he now? He abandoned you in your time of need.
Skye: Luke wouldn't do that, ok? He -- he has something else going on right now.
Alan: Let's hope Alexis can prove it.
Ric: I don't really think this is the time or the place to discuss our relationship.
Alexis: We don't have a relationship.
Ric: What are you looking at?
Ric: Is something wrong with my collar? Did I -- did I nick myself shaving?
Alexis: I don't know.
Ric: Well, it must be something, the way you're staring.
Alexis: I'm not staring.
Ric: Are you trying to figure out what happened between the two of us last night?
Alexis: Nothing happened between the two us last night. You dropped me off, and then you left.
Ric: You know what? I think you might want to sit down. People are starting to stare -- especially at your shoes.
Skye: What's the matter with you?
Alexis: Nothing. Everything is fine.
Bailiff: All rise.
[Judge pounds gavel]
Judge: And the court is in session. Are you all right, Ms. Davis?
Alexis: Perfectly fine, thank you, your honor.
Ric: Hey, allow me. You're trying to figure out whether you and I made out last night. Is that it?
[Judge pounds gavel]
Judge: Mr. Lansing, Iíll hear from you first.
Ric: Thank you, your honor.
Lynn's voice: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah whoa, whoa
[Dillon stops tape]
Dillon: What do you think?
Ned: I think she's amazing, from what I hear.
Dillon: Yeah. No, trust me, she is. This girl -- she is incredible.
Ned: Well, isn't she supposed to meet us here? She's not a flake, is she?
Dillon: No, no, no. No, no, no. No, no, no. That was -- that was me. I screwed up the timing. It was -- there's this whole thing.
Ned: Well, listen, I have a meeting with a potential investor, but this recording isn't enough to take him. Do you have a demo or anything?
Dillon: Uh -- not yet.
Ned: This girl does want to sing, doesn't she?
Dillon: Yes. Yeah. I mean, what -- what, with a voice like that? Of course.
Ned: Well, I want to meet her. And let's get a complete demo of her, ok?
Dillon: All right -- yeah, yeah. No -- no, problem. I mean, I'll -- I will -- I'll call her, ok?
Ned: Dillon -- Dillon --
Ned: Good job.
Georgie: No problem? No problem? All you know is that her first name is Lynn.
Dillon: I know.
Georgie: She's a runaway; she has no -- no address, no phone number. Dillon, how are you going to find her?
Dillon: I -- I don't know. I'm going to have to start looking, ok?
Georgie: Hello? What about the calculus final?
Dillon: I'm going to have to ask the teacher if I can make it up or something like that.
Georgie: And if she says no?
Dillon: Georgie, I have to follow through on this, ok? Lynn could put L&B back on top.
Georgie: And how do we convince her of that?
Sam: You know, Courtneyís a good person.
Jason: Where did that come from?
Sam: Well, it's just I ran into her in the park, and she was actually really nice to me, and caring. She made me realize what a miracle it is to be carrying this child. And Courtney told me how lucky this baby was to have you as a father. Jason, I know I've been pushing myself too hard, and part of me has been in denial about this pregnancy, maybe because I didn't expect it. But I realize now that I have to start putting this baby first, and not myself. You know, you can chime in anytime you want here. I'm just -- keep talking and talking --
Jason: There's nothing to say, Sam.
Sam: Ok, well, then why don't you answer one question? Do you think you and Courtney would still be together if you hadn't lost your baby?
Courtney: Open bar, French champagne -- the budget keeps growing.
Jax: With essentials for a successful event.
Courtney: Yeah, well, I don't know what I would have done without that check. Come on, admit it. I mean, I know it was you, Jax.
Jax: Would it make that much difference if I did say I sent the check?
Jax: You wouldn't have accepted my apology otherwise?
Courtney: Well -- well, let's just say that the money put me in a more receptive frame of mind.
Jax: All right, if you insist. I sent the check. Satisfied?
Jax: Well, I'm not done. Also wanted to apologize for what I said earlier. It was hurtful, and I am sorry.
Courtney: Apology accepted.
Jax: Thank you.
Courtney: As long as we are clear on one very important detail.
Jax: What's that?
Courtney: After I win the bet, you pay the full $10 million, instead of using your check as a down payment and claiming you only owe me 9 million.
Jax: Fair enough.
Jason: Like I said, I want Courtney to be happy.
Sam: What about you, Jason? How happy are you going to be if she's with someone else?
Jason: What -- what's the point of this?
Sam: The point is to give you a chance to rethink this whole marriage idea.
Jason: Ok, I went to tell Courtney that you and I were getting married, and she was kissing Jax. All right? Obviously, she's moving on. Now, I want to be a father to this baby. I want to give it a name --
Sam: I know --
Jason: I want to give it --
Sam: I know, I know! And you're trying to do the right thing!
Sam: All -- Iím just saying that --
Jason: Don't say anything! Just -- just go out and take a walk or something, Sam. We keep going around and around, and nothing's going to change, ok? You and your baby need me, and I want to take care of you, that's it!
Sam: Well, the thing is I don't want to commit to this only for you to figure out that you're miserable and you want Courtney back, that's all.
Jason: That's not -- that's not going to happen.
Sam: Well, I can see you're sure. Jason, Iím not.
Ric: Skye Quartermaine concocted an elaborate plan to remove Laura Spencer from a Montreal sanitarium, where she was last hospitalized, for the purpose of eliminating her as a rival for Luke Spencerís affections. Now, Ms. Spencer was able to escape from Ms. Quartermaine, or Ms. Quartermaine released her intentionally, hoping that maybe she would wind up dead. Regardless of her intentions, Luke Spencer now has Laura and now suspects Ms. Quartermaine. According to a letter that was left on Mr. Spencer's son's doorstep, he claims in it -- and I quote -- "I think Skye set us up." Accordingly, the state moves to have Ms. Quartermaine tried for murder of detective Ross Duncan and to be remanded without bail.
Judge: I understand your client has changed her mind and is asking to be released on bail. Present your case, counselor.
Alexis: Thank you, your honor. The evide-- the evidence against my client is circumstantial. My client is the victim here, not the perpetrator. The district attorney's case is pure fabrication.
[Judge pounds gavel]
Judge: Ms. Davis?
Alexis: My client is innocent and should be released on bail.
Judge: Well, thank you for your uncharacteristic brevity. Bail is granted, but the court will only release Ms. Quartermaine into the custody of a responsible party.
Alan: Your honor, I'm Dr. Alan Quartermaine. I'm Skyeís adopted father. I'll be happy to assume that responsibility.
Judge: Let the record show that Ms. Quartermaine will be released into the custody of Dr. Alan Quartermaine. Court is adjourned.
[Judge pounds gavel]
Skye: Edward thinks I'm guilty, doesn't he?
Alan: He thinks everybody's guilty because he always is.
Skye: What about you?
Alan: I think you've been set up. I'm going to do everything I can to prove you're innocent.
Alexis: What happened?
Ric: What, do you mean in the court just now?
Alexis: Last night. Did you kiss me?
Ric: Oh, come on now. A gentleman never tells. I'm sure you can remember it. Try.
Georgie: You want a bite?
Dillon: But -- no. I'm -- Iím not eating right now, ok? I'm depressed. This is me depressed. I'm depressed.
Georgie: Hmm. Ok.
Dillon: What if Lynn never comes back to the studio, you know?
Georgie: Well, then L&B studio proudly presents Sage Alcazar, their next breakout star.
Dillon: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like, you're ok with that?
Georgie: No, I'm not ok with that!
Dillon: Well --
Georgie: But, I mean, we did all we could. Who knows where Lynn is? She's probably in another town, another state.
Dillon: That's great.
Georgie: We did all we could. Meanwhile, we have an exam to study for.
Dillon: No, I'm -- no. No, I'm not studying for the exam. I am --
Dillon: I have not given up hope yet. I -- are you ok? Are you all right?
Georgie: Yeah, I'm fine. I just --
Georgie: Can I have a drink?
Dillon: Ok, yeah. No, no, I'll get -- I'll get you something to -- I'll be right back.
Georgie: Lynn -- Lynn -- Lynn, wait!
Lynn: Do I know you?
Georgie: No, you -- you don't know me, but Iíve heard all about you.
Lynn: I'm -- Iím sorry, how did you hear about me?
Georgie: My boyfriend -- he described your coat.
Lynn: Ok, hold on. I happen to love this coat, ok? My cousin Pauline gave it to me.
Georgie: Whoa, whoa, whoa, no, it's totally cool. That's what Dillon said.
Georgie: Yeah, he heard you singing in the studio, and he said that you're totally awesome. He's looking for you. I didn't even think you really existed until I heard the tape of your voice.
Lynn: Hold on -- Dillon recorded me?
Georgie: Yeah! And the owner of the studio heard and he wants to meet you!
Georgie: Because he thinks he can sign you. Dillon said that you sounded even better in person, and he said that he thinks he can record you for L&B. And I know you've got this whole stage fright thing, but Dillon can help you get over that.
Dillon: Hey, hey, Georgie, I -- Lynn -- Lynn, I can't believe I found you.
Lynn: Hi -- yeah. I can't believe you could be such a jerk! (Punches Dillon)
Courtney: Jax, you are being way too extravagant. We'll spend half of what we can make.
Jax: Well, which charities generally consider a coup. So pry your hands off the million-dollar check you got this morning --
Jax: And start spending.
Jax: I guarantee you; this fundraiser will be worth every penny.
Courtney: Ok, look, Jax -- not that I don't appreciate your generosity, but you -- you had no intention of even telling me that you sent that anonymous check until I forced you into it which means that you forfeit any say in how I spend it.
Sam: Well, that's our Jax. The soul of generosity.
Ric's voice: Oh, I'm sure you can remember it, one way or another, if you try. Ok --
Alexis: We should never have stopped off for that other drink.
Alexis: It's not a very good suggestion.
Ric: I didn't think so, either. But you need some sleep, Alexis. Come on, have a seat.
Alexis: Party pooper. Party pooper.
Ric: Good night, Alexis.
Alexis: Night-night. Oh -- Oh --
Ricís voice: Good night, Alexis.
Alexis: Night-night. Ric?
Alexis: Oh -- my God.
Nikolas: So how about an early lunch, hmm? We'll take one of those horseback rides to the rainforest.
Mary: Oh, that sounds like fun.
Nikolas: Wait, do I -- do I know how to ride? Wait, forget it. Forget it. Don't tell me. I don't want to know, because we are in the present, not the past.
Mary: Well, we could go back to the hotel room and make love all afternoon.
Nikolas: Oh, talk about a perfect day.
Mary: You know, I've never seen you so relaxed.
Nikolas: I know, it's -- it's this place. Now, I -- I know that it sounds strange, but the minute that I saw the -- the picture in the travel magazine, it was like -- it was like I was meant to come here. You know, like it was -- like it was waiting for me -- for us.
Mary: So then let's leave the past behind.
Nikolas: We are.
Mary: No. I mean, there's nothing left for us in Port Charles. Why don't we move here? Why don't we make this our new home?
Emily: Hey, Jason, are you home?
Emily: Hey. Ok. Um -- do you ever wish that you could get back the life you had before the accident?
Emily: No, no, no -- please, listen, just tell me -- are you happier now? Or are you just making the best you can of a terrible loss?
Jason: Why are you -- why are you asking me this? What's wrong?
