Emily: Oh, my God! Oh, the water's freezing!

[Lucky laughs]

Lucky: Yeah. Ooh. It's good for you -- gets some blood pumping.

Emily: Well, would you just admit it -- swimming at night was a bad idea?

Lucky: Well, at least there weren't any sharks.

Emily: Sharks? Sharks don't like frozen food. I'm like a Popsicle right now.

Lucky: Oh, well, come here and let me warm you up.

Emily: Oh!

Lucky: Is that better?

Emily: Yeah.

Mary: This has been perfect.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Mary: I'll never forget this place.

Nikolas: Well, I hope not. It's where we're going to get married.

Tracy: Look, sweets, you're playing way out of your league with me and with Jax. He needs a woman of substance, not a piece of trash who used to ride a pole in a strip club for dollar tips.

Courtney: Shut up!

Tracy: Oh! Oh! That's assault.

Courtney: And it was well deserved.

Tracy: Well, little girl, your -- your foundation.  It just went bankrupt. I will sue you for every penny you're worth.

Jason: Well, it's -- you know; it's a backpack. You put this on; baby fits here. The idea is that, you know, the baby can be with you and the -- the mom is free to move around. You want to try it?

Sam: Ahem. Why not?

Jason: Ok. Turn around.

Sam: Ahem.

Jason: All right, this -- you put this like this here. Here, just put your arm in there. Ok.

Sam: Ok.

Jason: This side, I think, goes down to here. There you go, right --

Sam: Max said you and Carly left with the boys.

Sonny: There's a business situation, Jason.

Sam: Yeah. Sonny, I know that's my cue to go upstairs, but I wanted to tell you something first. Jason and I are going to get married.

Sonny: Absolutely not.

Sonny: Marriage wasn't part of the deal.

Sam: Jason thinks it'll be better for the baby.

Jason: Yeah, the baby deserves a full-time father, right?

Sonny: Jason? I need to speak to her alone.

Jason: Ok.

Sonny: Ok?

Jason: No problem. I got some business to take care of. Mac said he spoke to you?

Sonny: Yeah. I did not pay attention until Meyer calls me, interrupts me. It's a lot worse than we thought, so you need to --

Jason: Ok, I'll handle it. I'll handle it.

Sonny: Figure out what you're going to do with it, ok. Um -- you're not marrying -- you can't marry Jason.

Sam: I thought this would make you happy.

Sonny: Make -- you marrying my best friend is supposed to make me happy?

Ofc. Serino: Do you understand these rights as I have read them to you?

Skye: Yes. Can we please just get this over with?

Alexis: You are violating my client's rights and then I would be forced to sue you again.

Ric: Oh, is that the first thing that you say anytime any of your clients are taken into custody?

Alexis: Why is it that it always applies whenever you're involved? Are you even aware that citizens have rights under the constitution?

Ric: Detective Duncan has been missing for weeks. We found his D.N.A. in Skye’s house.

Alexis: You were searching for signs of Laura Spencer at the time. That evidence is inadmissible. We don't even know that Duncan is dead in those pictures.

Ric: Really? We -- we have a picture of Skye with the corpse.

Alexis: You don’t have a body.

Ric: We don't have a -- what, do you think he's playing dress-up here?

Skye: Alexis, I'd like to talk to you in private.

Ric: Yeah, that might be a good idea. I have to return a few phone calls to the press. I'm sure they're going to want to be front and center for the loss of your next high-profile case.

Alexis: I understand that you are trying to protect Luke, but railroading yourself in the process is not going to help anything.

Skye: Forget Luke. We all know you hate me. So why are you really doing this?

[Dillon stops tape recorder]

[Tape winds]

[Tape plays]

[Tape stops]

Georgie: Still no mystery singer?

Dillon: You know, just because she didn't show early doesn't mean that she's not coming back. She could come back.

Georgie: I know you want to find a singer for L&B, Dillon, but I think you're getting --

Dillon: Georgie, you don't -- you don't understand. Trust me -- this girl is -- she is amazing. She's -- she's Alanis Morissette meets Alicia Keys meets Maria Callas.

Georgie: But we don't even know if she wants to actually sing!

Dillon: She was singing in a studio, you know?

Georgie: I dance in my bedroom! But, Dillon, it does not mean that I want to be a professional.

Dillon: I don't know what to say. I -- you know, Ned lost his investment. I want to make it up to him somehow.

Georgie: Then let's revisit Plan B -- I throw myself on Alcazar's mercy and ask him to reinvest in L&B.

Dillon: No, no, no. No, maybe it's my -- maybe it's my enormous ego or whatever, but I failed. I failed as a director. Now, I don't know -- maybe the only way that I can redeem myself is by finding the star that L&B needs to put themselves back on the map.

Sage: You already have. I'm getting better and I'm ready to start working again.

Emily: Anything good?

Lucky: No, nothing you'd want to see.

Emily: How do you know?

Lucky: Because it's all aliens and hero stuff. Girls don't like that.

Emily: Ooh, wait, go back, go back. I think I just saw Russell Crowe.

Lucky: Yeah. Well, wait -- here's one. It's a civil war romance with Jude Law.

Emily: Nah. Think I'd rather watch a macho Australian on the high seas.

Lucky: Oh, really?

[Emily laughs]

Lucky: No.

Emily: Hey, you --

[Lucky laughs]

Emily: You just want to watch a chick flick.

Lucky: Ok, I get enough blood and violence at work every day.

Emily: Or maybe you just want to check out Nicole Kidman.

Lucky: Well, who needs Nicole Kidman when I got you?

Mary: How do I look?

Nikolas: Perfect. But isn't it bad luck to see the bride in her gown before the ceremony?

Mary: That's what happened the last time we got married. I was getting ready and you walked in on me.

Nikolas: What did I say?

Mary: You said we didn't need luck because you were already the luckiest man in the world.

Jax: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Come on, let's go. I'll walk you to your car.

Tracy: I am not leaving here until -- let go of me!

Jax: Ok.

Tracy: Until I call the police and report this assault!

Jax: I'm sure you gave Courtney a good reason to hit you.

Tracy: Maybe you should have thought of those needy little children before you indulged your inner Amazon!

Jax: Courtney's assets are in trust for her foundation. You can't touch them, Tracy.

Tracy: Oh, well, that's where you're wrong, sweet pea. Little Miss Muffet neglected to properly file papers with the government!

Jax: Are you sure about that?

Tracy: Her open-a-door or open-a-window thingy isn't even legal yet!

Jax: Are you sure about that or are you just bluffing?

Courtney: You know, I'm not afraid of you, Tracy. Go ahead, call your little friends in Albany; try to shut me down. I have nothing to hide.

Tracy: I don't think so! I think there's lots of dirty laundry in your past.

Courtney: Oh, I bet you have more.

Jax: Ok. It's time for you to leave, Tracy.

Tracy: You'll hear from my lawyers.

Courtney: Right.

Jax: What were you thinking?

Courtney: That I really, really hate her. Do you really think that she's going to press charges?

Jax: I won't let her.

Courtney: Oh. Why -- because Tracy listens to everything you tell her?

Jax: No, not always. But she likes to stay in my good graces.

Courtney: Well, then, thank you. Thank you for covering for me because it felt really good to hit her.

Jax: Remind me to never make you angry.

Courtney: Well, what makes you think you already haven't made me angry?

Jax: You think you could take me? Hmm?

Courtney: Ooh, I know I could.

Jax: Really?

Courtney: Yes! Wait --

Mary: Are you having second thoughts?

Nikolas: No, no. I absolutely want to marry you again, but -- but when I saw the picture of this beach, I just -- I really felt that it had some significance. Are you sure that we've never been here before?

Mary: Yeah, I mean, maybe it's just someplace that reminds you of where you went in the marines.

Nikolas: No. No, it's more specific than that. I mean I feel love here. I don't know. It's where we're going to renew our wedding vows, where everything could change, you know? Maybe it's that. Maybe this is the place where I finally start to remember my old life.

Sage: So I told my uncle that I really, really wanted to sing, and he's agreed to reinvest in L&B. He's calling Ned tonight.

Dillon: So -- so you came here to sing? That right?

Sage: Yeah. I could be the next Jessica Simpson.

Dillon: Oh, ok. You know, I might actually have a shred of respect for you if you could tell the truth just once.

Sage: I am telling the truth.

Dillon: Oh, yeah? Really? Are you? Because you might have something to say to Georgie -- do you?

Sage: Oh, well, I got a lot of things to say to Georgie -- your ambush with the ladder and the paint can almost cost me my career!

Georgie: I tried to apologize for that.

Dillon: Yeah, and Georgie told me about your little vow to break us up.

Sage: Well, what do you expect? I was pretty miserable lying in that hospital thinking I may not ever sing again.

Dillon: Ok.

Sage: Oh, and by the way, how come when your mother more or less blackmails me into trying to set up Georgie it's unforgivable, but when Georgie, all by herself, tries to sabotage a project that both you and I care about, what's that? Standing up for love?

Georgie: I made a mistake, Sage.

Sage: So did I. So can we please just put this behind us and focus on what's really important? I want to sing, and my uncle's going to finance it. So are you in?

Skye: You have a soft spot for Luke that's never extended to me. You almost let me take the fall for Luis Alcazar.

Alexis: I would never have let you go to prison for something that you didn't do.

Skye: You were completely threatened by my bond with Kristina.

Alexis: I am her mother. You tried to take my place.

Skye: And I was trying to provide her with love and support, and you went to great lengths to cut me out of her life. Basically, you loathe me, and yes, the feeling is mutual.  So naturally, I'm a little skeptical about your willingness to defend me.

Alexis: You think I'm trying to set you up; tank your case?

Skye: Well, the thought's crossed my mind, yeah.

Alexis: It hasn't crossed mine, you see, because I have integrity. I know that you have been wrongly accused -- not because I think that you are a good and blameless person, but because I think Ric Lansing is a power-mad egomaniac who would do anything to save his own reputation. He also happens to know that the PCPD has botched the investigation and he is trying to save their collective butts by making you a scapegoat, and I'm not going to let that happen.

Skye: So basically, this is about one-upping Ric Lansing?

Alexis: This is about doing what's right, and I think that you're innocent.

Skye: I am.

Alexis: And I intend to prove it. And if that means I have to annihilate Ric in the process; that's just an added bonus.

Sonny: Sam? Sam! Why would you want to marry Jason?

Sam: I don't want any of this, Sonny, but I don't see any other way unless I leave town and give this baby up for adoption.

Sonny: No! That's not an option. I explained to you why I need to stay in this baby's life.

Sam: I know, I know, and I understand! You were in a terrible situation with your stepfather. That is the whole reason I agreed to go along with Jason’s plan -- so you could be a part of this child's life without having to admit you were the father.

Sonny: Oh, I'm -- I am grateful to you and to Jason, but do you want to marry him? I mean, do -- marriage? Is that what you want to do?

Sam: It's for the baby's sake.

Sonny: For the baby -- of course, for the baby.

Sam: Yeah, Jason believes that a child deserves parent who are married.

[Sonny sighs]

Sam: You know, I wasn't ok with this. I thought it was crazy, Sonny, and then I -- I thought, "I don't know. Ok, yeah, I'll go along with it."

Sonny: You want to spend the rest of your life with Jason?

Sam: I don't know! No! I'll get a divorce, right? Right?

Sonny: How can it work out, ok, when it's not a real marriage?

Sam: Jason and I won't be sleeping together, Sonny. I assume the same thing. Jason is in love with Courtney, and I am obviously still in love with you.

Jax: Well that's good timing. I was going to have my assistant call you.

Jason: What do you want?

Jax: Well, this is a little uncomfortable to do this in front of Courtney.

Jason: Just say it.

Jax: I think you're aware that I'm on the board of Courtney’s foundation.

Jason: That's good for you. What do you want?

Jax: We're having a charity event at the Cellar, and since Carly is the newly reinstated owner, I'm sure she's going to put you on the guest list. It's a courtesy invitation only. It would be best for everyone if you and your new fiancée stayed away.

Courtney: Fiancée?

Jax: Oh, you didn't know? Yeah, Jason and Sam are getting married.

Sam: Don't you owe it to your sons to make it work with Carly?

Sonny: Carly and I are back together for the boys. It's not like, you know, we're looking to fall back in love.

Sam: How can you avoid it? Sonny, spending time together, living with your kids and your family, love is going to come back. It's only natural. And that's ok. It's ok because that's what I want for you.

Sonny: That's not what I want.

Courtney: Of course you and Sam are getting married. You're -- you're going to have a family.

Jax: Yeah, and we all know that you have such traditional values --

Courtney: Jax!

Jason: I came to tell you myself, but you --

Courtney: There's no need to now. Congratulations, Jason. I know -- I know that you're doing what's best for the baby, and I -- I hope you'll be happy.

Jason: Well, good luck with your charity.

Jax: I'm -- I'm sorry. That must have hurt.

Courtney: God, save it. Jax, you enjoyed every minute of that.

Jax: I didn't enjoy blindsiding you, but it was necessary.

Alexis: I want an immediate arraignment.

Ric: Well, Skye’s going to continue to let you represent her, huh?

Alexis: She wants the best.

Ric: And you just want to get me back in court again, don't you? Well, I suppose it's a lot easier than asking me out for a drink. Well, when in doubt, work the legal end, right? There are lot less embarrassing ways to flirt, though.

Alexis: I'm not even going to dignify that with a response. I want the arraignment now.

Ric: I'll set it up.

Mary: For better, for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and health.

Minister: Till death do us part.

Mary: Till death do us part.

Minister: And now for Connor. Repeat after me. I, Connor, take thee, Mary --

Nikolas: I, Connor, take thee, Mary --

Minister: To be my wife from this day forward, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish.

Nikolas: To be my wife from this day forward, to have and to hold, to -- I promise -- I promise to give you the best of myself. I promise to share your burdens and keep your secrets. I promise that I will stand by your side no matter what challenges we face. I promise to trust and believe in you. And I promise to love you forever.

[Emily and Lucky chuckle]

Lucky: I -- you know, I could have sworn that bar was over there.

Emily: Well, maybe it's over --

Lucky: Huh. A few more steps and we would have walked right into a private moment. Hey, Em, you ok?

Emily: Hey, let's -- let's go take a peek at the couple. Come on. It's the happiest day of their life. They -- they won't even know we were there.

Lucky: Em -- Em, wait.

[Music plays]

Lucky: Emily, think about what you're setting yourself up for.

Emily: What? I can't hide from weddings for the rest of time.

Lucky: Well, you don't need to seek them out, either. That wedding is just going to make you miss Nikolas.

Emily: You know, I miss him all the time, regardless.

Lucky: You know what? What happened before? You were just full of life there, laughing out loud, like when we were on the run together as kids, you know?

[Emily laughs]

Lucky: When things were bad, I could just say something and you would just follow.

Emily: What can I say? You've always been the master at cheering me up.

Lucky: Then you listen to the master.

[Emily chuckles]

Lucky: This wedding is only going to make you hurt, and you've suffered enough. It's just time to move on; try to laugh again.

Mary: Your vows were so beautiful. Maybe I should say something else.

Nikolas: No. No, you don't need more words. Your actions speak for themselves. I've been so lost, Mary, and you -- you made sure that I found my way home to you. You've given me a new life, made me want to be a better man. I love you till death do us part.

Mary: I love you, too.

Minister: I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride.

Sage: For as long as I've known you, you've been obsessed with film festivals and movie trivia and becoming a director. Dillon, I'm giving you your chance!

Georgie: Wait. You're using your so-called singing dream, whatever, just to get closer to Dillon.

Dillon: Yeah, it's not going to work. Nothing you do is going to break us up, ok?

Sage: No problem. Consider me warned.

Georgie: What, until -- until next time, oh, you accidentally kiss Dillon? Whoops.

Sage: Will you grow up? This isn't about you and your goofy romance with Dillon. L&B needs money, and my uncle is willing to finance it. Don’t you want to help your brother out?

Dillon: Ok, all right. I will tell you what -- if, if your uncle buys back into L&B, then I may work with you, but Georgie comes with me.

[Sage laughs]

Sage: Are you kidding? She tried to kill me --

Dillon: No, I'm not kidding!

Sage: With a paint can!

Dillon: This is business, Sage, and those are my terms! Take it or leave it.

Sage: I'll get back to you with my answer.

Dillon: Oh, ok.

Sage: But, you know, in the meantime, you might want to think about how long L&B can actually last without Uncle Lorenzo’s money. It might make you consider being a little bit nicer to me. You, too.

Georgie: I hate that girl -- I hate her. And what I hate the most is that she's completely in the right. It was dumb and it was dangerous of me to use that paint can, and now she gets to use it against me forever!

Dillon: Well, well maybe not, not if I find this girl who was -- who was singing here the other night. I don't care if I have to -- to sleep in the studio. I got a feeling, Georgie. I got a -- I got a feeling about this girl. She could -- she could be the answer to all of our problems.

Sam: How weird is it that you know the kitchen in this place better than I do?

Sonny: Well, I mean -- mine used to look the same way until I remodeled it.

Sam: Why?

Sonny: The first time?

Sam: The first --

Sonny: Because when I cook, I like things a certain way.

Sam: Not just when you cook.

Sonny: Are you trying to say that I'm a control freak?

Sam: What, you don't agree?

Sonny: Uh -- maybe. Possibly. Sometimes.

Sam: Sometimes?

Sonny: Yeah. I mean, you know what? Things -- you know, I -- I don't know. It's like I'm not really handling all this very well. Everything I care about is out of my control.

Sam: That's where trust comes in. And you have to trust that Sam and Jason are going to do what's right for this baby, for our baby.

Jax: Look, you deserved to know that Jason was marrying Sam.

Courtney: Jason would have told me when he was ready, Jax.

Jax: Why are you always defending him?

Courtney: You're the one who was out of line.

Jax: Because I told the truth?

Courtney: No, Jax, because you threw it in my face.

Jax: All right, you're right. You're right. I let Jason get to me. But, look, it may hurt now, but the feeling will pass, and you'll be better off.

Courtney: I'm sorry.

Jax: Don't be.

Courtney: No, Jax, I'm not apologizing for being mad. I'm sorry that Brenda hurt you the way she did. And God, you're so jaded.

Jax: You're right -- I've been burnt, and I hate seeing it happen to someone else. But you really need to see what's going on here, Courtney. Look, I like you, but you're still living your life by Sonny's and Jason’s code. You're always -- you're always trying to justify their actions.

Courtney: No, that's not true, Jax. I couldn't stand Jason’s work. That's why we're not together.

Jax: Then why are you making excuses for the way he betrayed you? Hmm? He said that he loved you and then he cheated on you. If I can see how fantastic you are, how come he couldn't?

Courtney: Jason did love me, ok? It just -- we didn't make good partners.

Jax: So you don't mind that he slept with Sam?

Courtney: We were broken up, Jax.

Jax: Well, he moved on really fast.

Courtney: Yeah, well, someone had to. Look, I get that you care and I don't deny that I'm hurt by what happened between Jason and Sam. But nothing you say is going to make me think of Jason as some awful person who never loved me.

Nikolas: So do you feel married?

Mary: Very married and very happy. More champagne?

Nikolas: Oh, yes. Only the best for my wife. Ok. I would like to propose a toast. There you go.

Mary: To husband and wife?

Nikolas: Yes, and to our new life together. I think it's time for our first dance. May I have the pleasure, Mrs. Bishop?

Mary: Nothing would make me happier, Mr. Bishop.

Nikolas: Good. Come here.

Emily: Since when do you know anything about surfing?

Lucky: How tough can it be? We'll just rent boards tomorrow and then we'll practice in the shallows.

Emily: Well, we'll need to rent wetsuits, too, because I have a strong sense that we'll be spending a lot more time in the water than we will be on our boards.

Lucky: Oh, that -- when did you lose faith in me?

[Emily laughs]

Lucky: There was a time you thought I could do anything.

Emily: What, what? I still do.

Lucky: Oh. It's over now.

Emily: What?

Lucky: Uh-huh. Keep talking.

Emily: With the possible exception of you becoming an overnight surf sensation. Wait, no -- you know what? On the other hand, watching you try to balance on your surfboard -

Lucky: Yes?

Emily: Should give me plenty of incentive to laugh.

Lucky: Yeah, well, keep talking because I'm going to show you incentive right about now.

[Emily screams]

Emily: No, wait! No! No, no!

[Emily giggles]

Emily: Oh, no -- no, don't! Oh, stop! What are you thinking right this minute?

Lucky: How beautiful you are.

[Ric sighs]

Alexis: Skye's bail will be posted in an hour. I thought maybe I'd just stick around and wait till it was completed.

Ric: Yeah, well, you're lucky the judge was feeling magnanimous.

Alexis: My argument was more compelling than yours.

[Ric chuckles]

Alexis: Get used to it.

Ric: Look, easy bail does not mean easy acquittal. I wouldn't count your chickens, Ms. Davis, really. I got a strong case against Skye.

Alexis: You have a half-baked theory with little or no evidence.

Ric: Yeah, well, we'll see.

Alexis: Your bail will be posted in an hour.

Skye: I'm not going anywhere. I want to stay in jail where I'm safe

Jax: I want to help you with this.

Courtney: Then drop the subject, ok? Jason is human. He was hurting; he reached out to Sam. It was physical, ok? And when Sam turned up pregnant, Jason took responsibility for the baby.

Jax: Give -- if Jason did what was right, he would have honored his commitment to you. Why -- why can't you admit that the man treated you badly?

Courtney: Jason made a mistake, Jax, and now he is dealing with the consequences.

Jax: Unbelievable. You insist on seeing him as some noble hero. You know, if you feel so strongly about Jason, why not put him to the test? Offer to take him back. I think we both know that he will choose the mother of his child over the woman he supposedly loves.

Sonny: You're back already. How'd it go?

Jason: Mac was right. Faith is trying to bring in some out-of-town reinforcements. They were encouraged to leave, so we'll see what happens.

Sonny: Thanks for taking care of it.

Jason: Yeah, no problem. Are you going back to the island?

Sonny: No, I'm going to stay here. I mean, I don't want to give Faith or Alcazar another opening.

Jason: Well, what about Carly and the kids?

Sonny: Well, at least I know they're safe on the island. And I -- I don't know, maybe they're better off without me anyway. I got in another -- I got in a fight with Carly. It's probably a bad idea taking her to the island.

[Jason sighs]

Sonny: Too many memories.

Jason: Of her or Sam?

Courtney: It's a little late to be out in the park alone.

Sam: Yeah, well you're here.

Courtney: That's different -- I can defend myself.

Sam: So can I.

Courtney: Sam, you shouldn't be taking risks when you're pregnant.

Sam: Look, Courtney, I know you don't like me. It's obvious and you have tons of reasons not to, but I am not a pushover. I've spent half of my life on boats in the middle of nowhere. I can definitely handle a park.

Courtney: You know, I used to be a lot like you, and I thought that I could take on the world. But I lost my baby because I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that there was this vulnerable life inside of me; a life that I made with Jason. God, Sam, you're lucky to be carrying his child. And I want Jason to be happy, so I am going to tell you what no one told me. Cherish that life, Sam; protect it. Don't do anything crazy or impulsive. Make that child come first no matter what because if you don't, it could be the biggest mistake you've ever made.

Sonny: Sam and I, we talked about you getting married. You really think it's necessary?

Jason: Look, I just -- you know, I don't want the baby to think that Sam and I didn't care enough to get married.

Sonny: Right. Well, I thought you were going to live together. I mean, when did you decide to be a couple and all the father thing? I mean, not that it's --

Jason: First of all, I should have said something to you, ok?

Sonny: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Jason: The baby needs a name to know it belongs somewhere. That's why we need to get married.

Sonny: But it's another lie that we're talking about --

Jason: I know, Sonny, but it's the next logical step to cover up the first one! What are we supposed to do? Look, I know that you're giving up everything to stay with Carly and keep your promise to Michael. I just want to make sure that this baby doesn't suffer for it. I'm going to be this baby's father in every way I can. I just want to do it right.

Skye: Jax, I told Alexis not to call you.

Jax: What's this I hear about you refusing to be released?

Alexis: See if you can talk some sense into her.

Skye: I'm really sorry you had to come all the way down here.

Jax: Skye, I want to help. You going to tell me why you want to stay in custody?

Skye: Well, let's see -- there's a crazy woman stalking me; she set me up for murder. Luke's gone, Lucky’s out of town, so you see, until they catch Laura, jail's the safest place for me.

Alexis: Aw. She went to bed already? I'm sorry. I wanted to get home and tuck her in, but thank you. All right, give her a kiss for me. I -- I will. Thanks, Viola. Bye-bye.

Ric: Listen, before you bring your misplaced antagonism into yet another court battle, what do you say you and I have that drink, huh?

Alexis: Are you asking me out

Ric: Yes, in the spirit of trying to promote a more harmonious professional relationship.

Alexis: We don't have a relationship.

Ric: You know, your personal bias is starting to impede your ability to defend.

Alexis: My personal bias is perfectly justified and not likely to change because you buy me an alcoholic beverage.

Ric: Prove it.

Alexis: Oh.

Ric: Come on -- one drink.

Alexis: Hmm.

Ric: That is, unless you think that I'm that much of a threat to your professional detachment.

Alexis: Oh, yeah.

Ric: I dare you.

[Woman hums]

Woman: Oh, whoa, whoa yeah, yeah ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh yeah, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah oh, oh, oh yeah, yeah

Emily: Where did that come from?

Lucky: Impulse.

Emily: Uh --

Lucky: I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable.

Emily: Uh -- no. I could never be uncomfortable with you. Uh -- you're so important to me, Lucky. You've -- you've been one of my best friends for years, and I --

Lucky: Like I said, it was just strictly on impulse. It -- it'll never happen again.

Emily: Yeah. Uh -- so, are -- are we ok?

Lucky: Yeah. Always.

Emily: Hey, you know what? Why don't you get some sleep?

Lucky: Yeah.

Emily: You have to teach me how to surf tomorrow. Of course, you're going to have to teach yourself first.

Lucky: Oh, yeah. Trust me, it's just a piece of cake.
