Luke: Easy, Red. Easy.
Skye: Did Faith answer the email?
Luke: From the dead guy in the Quartermaine freezer? Not yet. No.
Skye: What does that mean? Does it mean that she's onto us? Does she know that we're doing this to her?
Luke: It means I didn't send it yet.
Skye: Oh, God. Jax suspects something, and if Tracy ever puts the pieces together --
Luke: One problem at a time. Our killer just showed up.
Skye: Oh. Oh, my God. Is she coming this way? Why is she coming over here? She wants to rattle me, doesn't she?
Luke: You know, you are a lot calmer in a burning building.
Skye: Just get rid of her!
Faith: Hey, you two. You're looking awfully cozy.
Skye: We're working.
Faith: Aren't we all? Lovely seeing you both.
Skye: I hate her.
Luke: Well, I can't blame you for that.
Skye: She probably set up a deal with Ric Lansing to get out from under that money laundering thing, and then she's going to blame me.
Dillon: Hey, Luke. Hi. I -- um -- I need your help.
Nikolas: Why is it a problem for me to take a job painting this church?
Mary: What if somebody sees you?
Nikolas: We're in the middle of nowhere, Mary.
Mary: I know, but people come by here all the time. Somebody could stop in and they could call the police.
Nikolas: I'm not going to hide out for the rest of my life. Especially now that I know what you're keeping from me.
Courtney: I thought that Michael was getting better.
Emily: Yeah, the bleeding has gotten worse. Surgery's the only way to get it under control.
Jason: I'll let you know what happens.
Sam: I know it's terrible, but I'm sure everything's going to be ok.
Courtney: Why are you even here?
Carly: Oh, Mr. Man. I wish I could be there with him.
Sonny: He knows we're here.
Carly: I thought he was getting better.
Sonny: He's going to go through the surgery and he's going to be fine, Carly.
Jason: Have they started?
Carly: Um -- they're prepping him, I think. They gave him a shot in his room, which kind of knocked him out, but now they're starting the anesthesia.
Sonny: He's bleeding internally, but he -- you know, they're trying to fix it.
Carly: Michael's going to be fine; he is. You guys know how strong he is. He's going to -- he's going to be just fine.
Nikolas: I've seen the credit card bills, the overdue notices.
Mary: Oh. I'm just late on sending out a few checks, that's all.
Nikolas: Mary -- Mary, come on. Our financial situation's a lot worse than you're letting on, and if I -- if I don't take this job, Iím going to go find something else.
Mary Ok, since you're obviously determined to do this, will you at least let me help?
Nikolas: You don't trust me out of your sight? Is that it?
Mary: I know Iíve been hanging on way too tight. I'm sorry; I -- I am. I just have to start trusting that you're not going to vanish.
Nikolas: Wait, I just had a terrible thought.
Nikolas: Do I even know how to paint?
Luke: You want to rent a room?
Skye: Dillon, the Haunted Star is a casino, not a rooming house.
Dillon: I know. I need -- I need a place to -- to think, to create, to follow my dreams.
Luke: Not to mention, to have privacy. Am I right?
Dillon: The Quartermaines have boundary issues.
Luke: Well, we know that, don't we? But we don't think you're ready to leave the big house, do we? We think that the Quartermaines have put you up in high style for so long, that if you go outside that style, you're going to be miserable.
Dillon: No, I -- no, no, no. I -- I can't go back. Georgie and I -- Georgie and I found a body in the boathouse. And then when we called the cops and they came, the body was gone. And then Mac was all mad at us, and there was this whole thing and nobody believed us, but it's ok now because Ned gave me a job, and I can pay for rent by making a music video.
Luke: I think we have just the thing.
Skye: I'm sorry. We can't help you, Dillon.
Faith: Two no-nonsense martinis with a twist. That is how you like them, isn't it?
Justus: That was a long time ago, but tastes change. Make mine a scotch, neat. You know, I still won't represent you.
Faith: Oh. Don't worry. I have found an alternative. Not as personally inspiring as you, but she is very good in court.
Faith: Mm-hmm. Alexis Davis is taking my case. Hmm. Here she is now. Maybe I've already been acquitted.
Alexis: We need to go over a few pertinent details about your case.
Justus: Think about this, Alexis. Are you sure you want to do this?
Alexis: Even Ms. Rosco deserves representation.
Faith: And I pay well.
Justus: How much do you know about this case?
Alexis: I know that her erstwhile business partner entrapped her -- Skye Quarter-- whatever it is she's calling herself these days.
Justus: Oh. That's a good argument. It might even hold up in court, but don't make the mistake of believing Faith is innocent.
Faith: So Iím not squeaky clean.
Ric: Yeah, well, neither was Sonny. And you did brilliant work for him, right?
Alexis: I'm so sorry to disappoint you, but Sonny doesn't have anything to do with this case.
Ric: I never said that he did.
Alexis: Your case is weak.
Ric: No, it's open and shut.
Alexis: I'm going to prove entrapment.
Ric: Well, you're more than welcome to try.
Alexis: Mrs. Rosco's business partner solicited the PCPD cooperation --
Ric: Wait, wait, wait, wait -- what's this? What, is this a brilliant display of your legal expertise in the courtroom? Am I supposed to be awed and intimidated and agree to drop the charges? Trust me, Alexis. You're not nearly as good as you seem to think.
Sonny: Is there any way to find out what's going on?
Emily: Yeah, maybe my mom can go in and observe.
Jason: Thanks, Emily.
Carly: You know, we didn't even wait till he was out of the hospital to tell Michael that we weren't getting back together.
Sonny: We're trying to do the right thing, Carly.
Carly: Yeah, well, we didnít.
Jason: Michael's bleeding internally because he's hurt, not because you and Sonny are getting divorced, and Michael knows that we're all at this hospital together, even his parents.
Jason: And right now, he wants us to believe in him, to keep thinking he's going to make it because he is.
Sonny: Jason's right. We got to -- we got to just think about the good times, you know, like when he would laugh.
Carly: I told him that we'd take him to the island this summer.
Sonny: Well, he loves the island, you know?
Carly: You remember that crazy sandcastle he built that one time?
Sonny: Yeah, he was -- the tide was coming in, he wouldn't hurry up, we helped him out, and --
Carly: Do you remember how he made us all stand in that moat -- together. And then it started getting dark, and we just wrapped ourselves in that beach blanket, and we were just laughing.
Sonny: Yeah, we kept each other warm. The tide kind of washed --
Sonny: Away the castle, and nothing could touch us. We were a family.
Luke: I think this might be just what you have in mind -- freedom, inspiration, privacy, and whatever else your hormones have in mind.
Luke: Well, she's all yours.
Dillon: Oh --
Dillon: It's atmospheric. It's --
Luke: Yeah, it's atmospheric, but you can counter that by opening the windows. Yeah.
Luke: You get a nice breeze, you know, off the water. And you got plenty of light. Lots of room for your videos. Whew.
Dillon: I'll take it.
Luke: You will? Man, you must be desperate.
Dillon: It solves some problems.
Luke: Well, you know what? It solves a few for me, too.
Skye: How's everything, all right?
Jax: Skye, you look lovely this evening.
Skye: Oh, you're just being chivalrous. Now tell the truth.
Jax: Well, you seem a little tense. Is everything ok?
Skye: Yeah. Terrific. Here, Jax --
Skye: Some chips for you. Play on the house. Have fun, ok?
Jax: Very generous --
Tracy: Wow. She's a little high strung to manage a casino, don't you think?
Jax: Not at all.
Tracy: Well, I heard she had a very public fall off the wagon.
Jax: Well, I hope that you didn't push her.
Tracy: Don't have time to waste on a self-destructive lush. I'm far more concerned with my sons. Ned and Dillon have abandoned me.
Jax: Yes, Ned gave me the details. I think reviving L&B is an excellent idea.
Tracy: Why, because it'll keep him distracted while you raid E.L.Q.?
Jax: Well, I'll tell you what. As C.E.O., I would be a little nervous if I was you. Good to see you, Trace.
Alexis: You have grossly abused the power of your office.
Ric: And you have coasted on a reputation that you built years ago. You were a wonderful litigator before --
Alexis: I am more than capable of proving that your office conspired to entrap Ms. Rosco.
Faith: She's right. I'm the innocent victim of power-mad public servants.
Ric: You'll excuse me. Lansing. Yeah, what's up? What do you mean; no one's heard from Ross Duncan? But what about all the emails? Ok. Um -- look, start a -- start a search. I want you to go back to the night that he disappeared, who he was seen with, and -- and the last time he was seen, ok? Thanks.
Coleman: You're in luck. It's a new hired PCPD. He's a detective named Ross Duncan.
Skye: Why are you hovering around me like that?
Tracy: You and I need to have a little chat.
Nikolas: We need to make a partial payment on the credit cards as soon as possible, ok?
Mary: Don't worry. I'll make the minimum payment.
Nikolas: Mary -- Mary, the interest will -- it'll just keep accruing. What we need to do is pay it off in full as soon as possible.
Mary: You know a lot about money. I mean, how it works and stuff.
Nikolas: Didn't I always?
Mary: Sure. You were the family treasurer. You had me on a budget and stuff.
Nikolas: Well, if that -- well, I don't understand why I would let us carry so much debt. I mean, it would be so easy just to consolidate it.
Mary: It was me. No, I -- as soon as I max out a card, I just get another one. It drove you crazy.
Nikolas: Yeah. Well, at least I have a job again. Hey, that was the part where you say something reassuring.
Mary: Oh. Um -- I think you're an amazing painter.
Nikolas: Yeah, well --
Nikolas: So are you, for the most part.
Mary: For the most part?
Nikolas: Yeah. Well, you know, you missed a spot.
Nikolas: Right here.
Mary: Oh, yeah.
Nikolas: What are you doing? I just --
Mary: Oh, you don't remember paint fights?
Nikolas: No. Are they like this?
Mary: No. No, no. They were more like this.
Nikolas: Oh, my -- oh, I get it. They were kind of like that.
Courtney: Why can't you just let Michaelís family heal? He wants his parents back together, and if you were gone, that could happen.
Sam: Look, Courtney, I am not -- Iím not the bad guy here. Sonny is with me because he wants to be, and I'm not going to apologize for wanting to be with him, either. And I'm not going to walk out on Sonny the way you walked out on Jason. I'm certainly not going to sell out to his worst enemy, either.
Courtney: No, you'll just destroy his family.
Sam: That's not what I'm doing.
Courtney: Oh, come on, Sam. Are you that blindly selfish you can't see all the damage you've done? Why do you think I broke up with Jason? Because I can't fit in his life, and I never will. I mean, I was hurting everybody else around us by hanging on, so I let go. You need to do the same.
Sam: Maybe I'm not hurting Sonny by being with him. Maybe -- just maybe I love him.
Courtney: So? I still love Jason, and I always will. How's Michael?
Jason: He's still in surgery.
Sam: Is he going to be ok?
Jason: Yeah, everything seems to be going ok so far.
Sam: How's Sonny?
Jason: He's worried about Michael.
Sam: Is there anything I can do? I mean, besides leave.
Jason: You know, Carly needs him right now. He needs her.
Sam: Ok. Gotcha.
Courtney: Thank you for the update. I'm sure you want to get back to the O.R., So --
Jason: Sonny and Carly need to be alone right now.
Courtney: You know what's hard about you, Jason, is you're so incredibly generous. But I know that you love Michael. You've given that little boy everything that you have. You know, Michael doesn't have two parents. He has three.
Jason: I mean, I was only Michaelís dad for a little while. You know, at first, I thought it would just be, you know, putting my name on the birth certificate. I -- I really didn't understand what it meant to be a father until -- till he was born. You know, when there was a problem with his heart, he had to fight for every breath that he took, but I could see even then that he wasn't going to quit. So they did -- they did the surgery. They -- they had to put him in one of those incubators. And they said that I wasn't allowed to touch him. So I just talked to him, and waited out in the hall all night long, and I watched him through that window. And I swear, Courtney, he knew that I was there. So I kept talking to him. And a couple days later, they -- they put Michael in my arms, and he recognized my voice. Michael recognized me.
Carly: Do you think it's taking too long?
Sonny: I can't keep track. It could be two minutes, 10 minutes, two days, I don't know.
Carly: You know, I don't even know how you're supposed to measure time while your child's in surgery.
Emily: My mom's on her way.
Emily: She'll be able to tell us what's going on.
Carly: Great. Thanks, Emily.
Sonny: Ok, I got something I got to -- can you stay with her for a second?
Emily: Sure. How are you holding up?
Carly: Oh -- you know, I keep just reminding myself that Michael made it through heart surgery when he was an infant.
Emily: He did great.
Carly: He'll be fine, right? This should be a piece of cake. Michael's really strong. It's just Sonny and I are losing our minds.
Sam: How's Michael?
Sonny: Oh, they're still operating, you know. I hope he's going to be all right.
Sam: I wish there was something I could do.
[Elevator door rings]
Sam: You need to get back to your son, ok? I'll say a prayer.
Sonny: Yeah, I appreciate that.
Carly: Did you find out what's going on with the surgery? Why -- why it's taking so long? Any information would be great.
Monica: I know that Michael has a sub-capsular hematoma. That is --
Carly: Oh-oh-oh -- what's going on?
Monica: Ok, stay there, stay there. I will find out.
Carly: Oh -- oh, what -- what are they doing to my child?
Emily: They're trying to help him, Carly.
Carly: Oh -- well, why -- why can't they stop the bleeding? He is a little boy, Emily. It shouldn't be that big of a deal, right? I mean, they should just go -- it was supposed to be a --
Sonny: What happened?
Emily: My mother's in there, Sonny. She'll tell us as soon as they know anything.
Carly: All these alarms just went off, Sonny, and -- and everyone rushed in. I think his heart stopped.
Sonny: He's going to be fine, Carly.
Carly: He's a little boy.
Dillon: Ok. All right, step.
Georgie: Oh, ok.
Dillon: Step. Ok.
[Georgie and Dillon cough]
Georgie: Are you sure no one saw us?
Dillon: Well, would you believe, I have my own entrance.
Georgie: Then you know if -- ahem. If Mac ever found out about this -- I mean, I'm not even supposed to walk past the Haunted Star --
Georgie: Let alone be on it.
Dillon: I -- yeah, I -- I know, I know, I know. I'm the forbidden boyfriend or whatever. Ok, you ready?
Dillon: Open your eyes.
Georgie: The Haunted Star was a prison ship? I had no idea.
Dillon: Hey. You know what? Just think of it as -- as an artist's garret, you know? Like Berlin in the 1930s or "Cabaret" in black and white with no music.
Georgie: Or -- or where Ewan McGregor lived in "Moulin Rouge"?
Dillon: Ah. So I think the lady likes it, then.
Georgie: Yeah! Let's celebrate.
Dillon: I'll go raid the fridge.
Georgie: What, is that a part of the deal?
Dillon: It is now. Be right back. Oh!
Georgie: Ok. Maxie, hi. I need a huge favor. Yeah, I know, again. Just listen.
Skye: Whatever you want, Tracy, Iím certainly not interested.
Tracy: Here's what I don't understand. All of your men dump you, but how do you appeal to them in the first place? What makes them want to protect you, take care of you, maybe even die for you?
Luke: If you're here to gamble, the tables are hot tonight. If not, go away.
Tracy: Case in point. How do you do it?
Luke: Go on, get.
Tracy: "Go on, get"? Charming.
Skye: Oh, God. Tracy's suspicious.
Luke: Oh, not necessarily.
Skye: Why shouldn't she be? She saw us at the lake house with the body.
Luke: I think we did a pretty effective job of covering.
Skye: Of course, there's always a chance that she could actually find Ross' body since it is locked in a freezer in her house.
Luke: Will you chill? We've got our killer sitting right over here. I feel an email coming on.
Ric: On your own today?
Sam: Look, Sonny's busy. Michael's in emergency surgery -- he might die.
Ric: Well, I'm sorry. I know how much Sonny's children mean to him.
Carly: What are they doing to him? What is taking so long?
Sonny: Carly, we got to trust that the doctors know what they're doing.
Carly: Oh --
Emily: Michael had a crisis; the machines alarmed, but it looks like things are calming down.
Monica: The surgery was successful, but Michael lost so much blood, he went into D.I.C.
Carly: Well, what does that mean?
Monica: It means his blood isn't clotting properly.
Sonny: What are you going to do for him?
Monica: We're going to take him back to I.C.U., start him on clotting medicine, and then wait and hope. That's all we can do.
Carly: What do you mean, "All"?
Sonny: Ok, you just -- Monica, you got to do whatever you got to do to save my son's life.
Monica: He is my grandson, Sonny! Of course I'm going to do everything I can to save him.
Emily: Look, we all love Michael here.
Monica: You stole him from us like you steal everything. First my son, now my grandson. You know, Jason trusted both of you with Michael. My, what a fine job you two have done. You know, if he'd stayed with Jason or maybe even with my family, he definitely wouldn't have been found wandering around in the woods unattended. He wouldn't be used as a weapon, and I guarantee you he wouldn't be shuffled around from house to house depending on who you're sleeping with or who is trying to kill you.
Emily: Hey. Thanks for getting here so quickly. Michael's not doing very well.
Lucky: Ok, what happened?
Emily: Uh -- his blood won't clot, and if the transfusions don't work, then -- it isn't fair.
Lucky: Come here.
Nikolas: At least we managed to get some paint on the walls.
Mary: We did a great job. The priest is going to be very, very impressed.
Nikolas: Well, thank you for helping me get started. I can -- I can finish the rest on my own, thank you.
Mary: Are you saying that I'm a terrible painter?
Nikolas: No. No, no, not at all. I'm saying that you're a beautiful distraction.
Mary: I have to take a shower.
Nikolas: Ok. Now, I could make some dinner -- you know, something simple, romantic.
Mary: You only remember how to make toast.
Nikolas: True, but it's very good toast.
Mary: The best toast I ever had.
Nikolas: Ok, go.
Alexis: Take me through everything that happened the night you were arrested.
Faith: The club was closed. I was standing at the bar with a briefcase full of money.
Alexis: In other words, you're guilty.
Faith: No, I was entrapped. Isn't that what you told Ric?
Alexis: The fact that Ric Lansing is a smug, egotistical hypocrite and the fact that I can't wait to hand him a big, fat loss in court is the only reason that I am attempting to set you free.
Justus: I don't think your attorney likes you very much.
Faith: What do I care? She wants to beat Ric. All I have to do is sit back and enjoy the ride.
Skye: Don't send the email now.
Luke: Why not? We can watch her reaction. If she did ice Detective Duncan, she'll think she's getting a message from the grave.
Skye: It's too risky.
Luke: Watch her face.
Faith: I thought your plan was to get Sonny acquitted and leave town. That was ages ago. What are you still doing in Port Charles?
Justus: The work is challenging and the pay is good.
Faith: It's ok. You can admit you'd miss me.
Justus: The scary thing is I might.
Faith: I'm going to have to take this.
Justus: Good news or bad news?
Faith: Hmm, just business.
Luke: Well, she's cold. You got to give her that.
Skye: Yeah, she probably realizes we're trying to trap her.
Luke: Well, if she doesn't, she's going to if you don't stop staring at her.
Skye: What do you expect? It's only my life at stake here.
Luke: Hey, Blaze? This is what I want you to do. I want you to take this, go check on the body, and lock up the freezer so Alice doesn't just wander in there. Go ahead.
Jax: I heard about Michael.
Sam: He's in really bad shape.
Jax: Were you banished from the hospital?
Sam: No, Jax, I left. I'm not a member of Sonny's family -- just the girl he's using, right? That's what you think anyway.
Dr. OíDonnell: We've started the transfusions, but we don't know if it's working yet.
Carly: Uh -- can -- can we go in?
Dr. OíDonnell: One at a time.
Carly: Hey, sweetheart. You did really good. You know? The doctor said the surgery was a success. And I'm right here for you, and your daddy's outside. And we love you so much. I know we haven't done the best things lately and we've made a lot of mistakes, but that is going to change. Things are going to get better because you reminded us that family is the most important thing.
Sonny: All Michael wanted was to live in his own home with both parents, and I made him move because I thought it would be safer. He lived in that house for years, Jason. I wouldn't even let him leave his toys behind. Then he ran away and I was pretty tough on him. He begged me to take Carly back. He might as well have been locked in a closet --
Jason: Sonny, don't do this. Michael loves you.
Sonny: No -- he loves me, and I turned my back on my own son.
Jason: No, you did not turn your back on him.
Sonny: I have money, power -- anything I want. What does my son have? What have I given my son?
Emily: I'm sorry.
Lucky: It's all right.
Emily: I just get so tired of trying to be strong, you know.
Lucky: You know what? Don't be. I won't tell.
Dillon: I'm so -- I'm so sorry my mom was upstairs. I had to, like, hide from her for --
Georgie: Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait -- stop. Close your eyes.
Dillon: Oh -- ok.
Georgie: Keep them closed.
Georgie: Turn around.
Dillon: What, what --
Georgie: Come here -- ok. Just trust me. Come here.
Georgie: Come in.
Dillon: Where, what --
Georgie: Just hold on!
Georgie: Ok. Open them.
Dillon: Oh, my God.
Dillon: How did you do this?
Georgie: Well, Mom's been cleaning out the garage, and I had Maxie bring over the extra stuff. Do you like it?
Dillon: It is so Orson Welles.
Georgie: Thank you.
Luke: Ok, talk to me, darling. Talk to me. If you think the cop's still alive, who the hell killed him?
Skye: Whew. Ooh. Ew.
Carly: God, I want to help my child.
Jason: You are.
Carly: I'm standing in a hall, and Michael doesn't even know that Iím here.
Jason: Yes, he does.
Carly: Jason, I want love to be enough. This one time, I just -- I want love to be enough to make a miracle.
Sonny: Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom -- thy kingdom come, thy will be done. Thy will, please, God. Don't let it be thy will to take Michael from Carly and me. We failed him -- no, I failed him. I got angry and I wasn't thinking about anybody but myself. I broke up his home like it was nothing. Ahem. Michael is innocent. Get him through this. All Michaelís ever wanted was to love me and his mother. I swear to you, if you save my little boy, if you get him through this -- Michael? Listen, buddy, ok? I swear to you in front of God, I swear to you on my life if you get through this, you wake up to me, I will figure out a way to make things work with your mama and we can be a family again.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Nikolas: Are you afraid I don't love you?
Luke: Did you whack the detective?
Tracy: You need a brighter shade of blush. You look as pale as a corpse.
Carly: Oh, my gosh, Sonny. Maybe he woke up to say goodbye.
Emily: Do you have any news?
