Ric: That's far enough.

Ric: All right, Zander, there's nowhere to run. I want you to step away from Emily.

Emily: I'm ok, Ric. Zander hasn't hurt me in any way. He's ready to give himself up.

Ric: Then he won't have any problem following my instructions. Zander, kneel down; put your hands on top of your head.

Emily: Please, Zander, do what he says. Do what he says.

Zander: I love you, Emily.

Ric: Do it, Zander.

Emily: Zander --

Zander: I love you.

Emily: Zander --

Ric: Hit him now!

Emily: Oh! No. No -- no! No! No. No.

Emily: No, you stay away from him! All of you! Wait, you, too! I don't need your phony sympathy. None of you gave a damn about Zander!

Ric: Emily, you need to step away.

Emily: He wasn't even armed! I told you that, but you wouldn't listen to me! Oh, Zander. Why did you do this? Why?

Zander: This is the way we met. Cops around. I grabbed you. Maybe it should have ended like this, then.

Emily: No.

Zander: I'm glad it didnít. Then I never would've known what it was to love. Thank you.

Emily: No. Hey, you're going to be all right. We're going to get you to -- we're going to get you to the hospital.

Zander: For a while, you made my life golden.

Emily: No. I hope you're happy. He's dead.

Woman: Hello, this is Onstar emergency, Lisa speaking. We have received a signal that your air bag deployed. Do you need help? I repeat, do you need help?

Nikolas: Emily --

Sam: Why aren't you laughing?

Jason: I haven't heard anything funny.

Sam: Oh, come on. This must sound like some big joke to you. The means-nothing woman who got Sonny through a couple lonely nights actually falling in love with him. Or maybe, I don't know, you think I'm incapable of love and this is some big, elaborate scam.

Jason: I don't think about you one way or the other.

Sam: Well, Sonny -- ow. Sonny does, Jason. Against all odds, he actually cares about me, even after every disastrous thing that was used against him and dredged up about me in court. You probably thought that was the last you'd see of me, and to tell you the truth, so did I. I expected Sonny to turn his back and give me a variation of Jaxís theme that I am not good enough and never will be.

Jason: Why are you telling me all this?

Sam: Because I want you to understand. I'm not going anywhere. I was until Sonny told me to stay, and that's all that matters. He is not like you or Jax or Courtney or Carly. He doesn't judge me. I don't always come up lacking. He's not disappointed or ashamed of me. Sonny accepts me the way that I am. And hopefully, maybe, someday, he'll love me back.

Jason: Sonny loves his wife.

[Knock on door]

Lorenzo: Someone has lousy timing.

Carly: Well, I will get rid of whoever it is.

Lorenzo: Mm-hmm.

Carly: Sonny?

Sonny: This won't take long. I know you're -- you're busy. Um -- but, you know, this is important.

Carly: Yeah? Well, what's going on?

Sonny: I brought the final custody agreement.

Lorenzo: Let me guess. You're going to use my presence here as an excuse to change your mind.

Sonny: Carly and I are living separate lives now. We get to be with whoever we want. Even if she chose you.

Emily: Wait, wait. Wait. I'm so sorry, Zander, for everything. You deserved better.

Lucky: Let it go, Emily. There's nothing more you can do.

Emily: Ok.

Lucky: Gary --

Emily: Listen, I need a favor.

Lucky: Anything.

Emily: Find Nikolas. At one point, Zander said that he had done something to hurt him, and then he denied it later, and I just -- I need to be sure.

Lucky: Yeah, I'll find him.

Emily: Ok. What happens now, Ric?

Ric: Zander's body's going to be taken to the county morgue. They need to do an autopsy on him.

Emily: Well, I don't see why. We all know what happened. Zander was gunned down by the police.

Ric: It's police procedure --

Emily: You know, you guys should really be proud.

Ric: To take the subject --

Emily: A job well done, emptying your weapons into an unarmed man.

Lucky: Ok, there's nothing more you can do here, Emily. Let -- let me take you home.

Emily: But you searched Zanderís body. You know he didn't have a gun. It's in the cottage, where he left it, where I asked him to leave it. I swore to Zander that he could give himself up peacefully, and he believed me. He put the gun down, he came outside willingly.

Lucky: Ok, the police will --

Emily: And your men just shot him down anyway!

Lucky: The police were just following procedure, Emily. Zander appeared to be reaching for a weapon.

Emily: But he put his hands in his pockets! That is not a crime punishable by death!

Ric: Emily, he was instructed to kneel down on the ground. He did not comply with those instructions.

Emily: But you could have waited the two seconds --

Ric: He reached behind himself as if he were grabbing a --

Emily: That it would've taken you to make sure. You people just opened fire, huh? Maybe that's what you intended all along.

Elizabeth: Em -- Em, you don't mean --

Emily: I'm not talking to you! You were the one who called the order to open fire. That's what you intended all along, wasn't it? Zander never had a chance. You wanted him dead, and now he is.

Lisa: Hello, this is Onstar emergency. I repeat, we have indication of an air bag deployment. Do you need help? If you can hear me but are unable to speak, don't panic. I'll notify emergency services in the area of your exact location. I'll be back with you when help is on the way.

Mike: Hey, Dillon. What's up? What can I get you?

Dillon: You think maybe if I order a plate of fries -- how long could I stay here?

Mike: Well, how much time do you want?

Dillon: Oh, I don't know. Open-ended. Maybe all night. Maybe I could just live here for a week or two.

Mike: Oh, all right. Let me venture a wild guess -- you're fighting with your family?

Dillon: No, no, worse. They love me. Can't do enough. Sucking up is endless. Just want to get out of there.

Mike: All right. Why don't you find a table you like, and I'll get your order, all right?

Dillon: Thanks.

Tracy: There you are.

Mike: Oh, Tracy. Well, you look terrific. Can I get you something?

Tracy: Donít. Darling. Ordinarily, I don't like you spending time in a greasy spoon. However, today it suits my purpose. I want to discuss with you why you need to vote me in as C.E.O. of E.L.Q. and daddy can't interrupt us here. And I'll even choke down a burger.

Dillon: Mom, you're -- you're not getting this. I -- I cannot take the pressure right now, ok?

Tracy: There is no pressure. All there is, is a clear-cut choice. Either you vote for me, your mother, whom you adore and love above anybody else, or you prepare for your life -- in military school. Ugh.

Edward: Don't be intimidated by this mother of yours. I will not allow anyone to ship you out like some misdelivered package. You can stay here in the place you've come to think of as your home -- in exchange for your vote, of course.

Emily: Did you know about this? Did Ric promise you that Zander wouldn't live long enough to claim his child?

Elizabeth: Oh, Emily, you know that's not true. I'm the one who came looking for you. I found Zander holding you hostage in the cottage and I called the police.

Emily: Right. Remind me to thank you one day.

Elizabeth: I probably saved your life. At the very least, I kept Zander from kidnapping you again.

Emily: Zander wasn't going to hurt me, Elizabeth. You should have known that. Your husband certainly did. Zander didn't die tonight because he was a dangerous fugitive. He died because he's the father of your baby and that made him an inconvenience --

Ric: Ok, all right --

Emily: To Ric.

Ric: All right, Emily, that's enough. Now, I realize that you felt very deeply for Zander at one point in your life, so you're inclined to see him in the best possible light. But the fact remains that he killed an innocent man, and he set fire to the Port Charles Hotel in order to cover it up -- a fire that, incidentally, killed three other people -- one of which, being Zanderís father -- and devastated your family. Now, I'm not even going to include Nikolas into this equation. I mean, he did almost die in that fire, too, right? Now, you tell me. If that had happened, would you still be yelling at all of us and defending Zander? Emily, Zander made a choice that led up to what happened here today, including that choice to reach behind him, as if he were going for a gun, and drawing police fire. I realize that is a very painful thing for you to think about but it is the truth, and you have to accept it. Zander died because he wanted to.

Sam: You really don't like me. Don't bother trying to deny it because it's almost palpable. I just have a question for you -- why did you save me from the bomber?

Jason: It's my job.

Sam: Painfully honest, aren't we?

Jason: It's just how I am.

Sam: All right, go ahead. I can take it.

Jason: There's nothing to take. I don't dislike you. I don't even know you. I'm not mad at you for being with Sonny. Sonny makes his own choices without any input from me.

Sam: Yeah, but you're still counting down the hours until he dumps me and goes back to Carly.

Jason: I think they should be together.

[Sam sighs]

Sam: Jason, what if that doesn't happen? What if Sonny realizes he's happier with me?

Jason: Well, then he'll be with you.

Sam: But you don't think that's going to happen?

Jason: Look, you know what? I don't know what's going to happen with Carly and Sonny. I just know that they still love each other.

Sonny: The agreement doesn't cover child support, but, you know, I'll have Justus write something up, if that's what you'd like.

Carly: No, that won't be necessary, Sonny. I --

Sonny: I just want you to know that, you know, I'll give my -- you know, Michael and Morgan whatever they need, you know. And I'll send a check to you in advance every month. Or if you want to --

Carly: No.

Sonny: Send me the bills, or whatever, I --

Carly: Oh, I -- I don't know -- I -- you want me to write up a budget and then I could -- I'll call you with it, you know?

Sonny: Yeah, can you call Meyer? Because he's the accountant. I need to justify his salary somehow.

Carly: Meyer's a hard worker.

Sonny: Yeah.

Carly: He's just not Benny. Sonny, just wait -- wait one second. Justus -- he read that through, and you're ok with everything that it says in there?

Sonny: Yeah.

Carly: Ok, because I just don't want to be dragged back into court because something's worded wrong, you know?

Sonny: No, I'm satisfied, but if you have any questions, you -- or whatever you need, just call, you know, Justus if you need any clarifications or anything.

Carly: Yeah, ok. Great.

Sonny: All right.

Carly: Um, Sonny, just -- thanks for bringing the papers over, and thanks for doing the right thing.

Sonny: Well, it's settled. That's what counts.

[Door closes]

Lorenzo: Well, I can't see, but I'd bet everything that Sonny upset you.

Carly: No, I thought the same thing that you did when I saw Sonny when I opened the door. I thought that he had come here and wanted to have joint custody, after all.

Lorenzo: Would you have agreed?

Carly: Yeah, I think I would have, because I -- I do want Sonny to be in Michael and Morganís lives as much as he can. But I really still do think they are safer with me.

Lorenzo: So you got what you wanted.

Carly: Yeah.

Lorenzo: Yeah, but it hurts more than you thought.

Carly: Lorenzo, I don't -- I don't -- I don't know what you mean.

Lorenzo: I think you don't want me to know that Sonny can still get to you. Clearly, he can.

Carly: Lorenzo, Sonny gave up our boys. And I even know it's for the best, it just -- it doesn't make the situation any easier.

Sonny: What are you doing? That's Michaelís favorite.

Jason: Yeah, I --

Sonny: He probably left it here.

Jason: He did something to it. He asked me to fix it and bring it back.

Sonny: Not tonight.

Jason: Why?

Sonny: Courtney's boyfriend is visiting. Courtney brought over the custody papers, gave me the song and dance about how much Carly loves me and she was going to break up with Alcazar until he got blinded. Sound like Carly to you? But I let myself get sucked in, right? So I went over there with the papers unsigned, hoping maybe -- I don't know -- whatever. It don't matter. I look through a window, right? She's making out with that bastard. I want this to be over, you know? I don't want to feel for her anymore.

Edward: I will be cold in the ground before you get your hands on E.L.Q.

Tracy: If you insist.

Edward: And even when I'm gone, I will paper every lawyer's office in this town with wills and codicils instructing my heirs to fend you off at all costs.

Tracy: By heirs, I assume you mean Skye, the alcoholic interloper without one drop of Quartermaine blood?

Edward: You know that even a would-be film student like Dillon here has more business at the head of a corporation than you. You're a short-sighted, self-centered, vindictive snob who's never faced the reality of a bottom line in your life.

Dillon: All right, stop! I can't take this anymore. If you don't just -- just leave me alone and get out of here and give me a little bit of peace, I'm going -- I'm going to give my vote to Mike.

Mike: Well, I'd be happy to take it. Of course, I'd have to go to my son for advice.

Tracy: You can't be serious.

Mike: Hey, well, I'm just a lowly chef in a greasy diner. I mean, Sonny is the businessman in our family.

Edward: Corinthos is a two-bit criminal. He will never get anywhere near E.L.Q.

Dillon: Yeah, well, I guess you better get going, then, or he gets my vote right now.

Edward: Blackmail. Hmm. Blatant, at that. I could almost be proud of you.

Tracy: That was brilliant. Now, we can get back --

Dillon: Mom, you too. I'm serious. Go.

Tracy: Ok. Ok, I'll humor you, but I have my limits. Either you do what's necessary, or pack your bags.

[Mike whistles]

Mike: Ooh, low. And some position you're in.

Dillon: Yeah, I know. Tell me about it. Thanks for -- thanks for the help, by the way.

Mike: Hey, look, I'm happy to do my part. Do you mind if I make an observation?

Dillon: Please.

Mike: You may have bought yourself a reprieve, but you're going to have to make that decision sooner or later. By putting it off, you're only going to accomplish two things -- more pressure and the fallout will be worse.

Ric: Put Emily into Interrogation One. Emily, I'm going to need a statement from you about everything that transpired between you and Zander at the cottage.

Emily: Fine.

Ric: Sweetheart, I'm going to need a statement from you, as well.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I know.

Ric: You know, I'm sure this is probably a ridiculous question considering everything that's happened, but is something wrong?

Elizabeth: I was so sure I was doing the right thing, you know? I mean, notifying the authorities about Zander holding Em. Maybe -- maybe I was terribly mistaken.

Lucky: Here you go. You're not in trouble or anything. We just need to record the details as soon as possible so we can close the file.

Emily: "File." Whew. I'm grateful, Lucky. At least you didn't fire at Zander.

Lucky: Em, you might not want to hear this, but I think Ric was right this time. Zander wanted to die. Maybe all you can do is bless him and just let him go. Hey, can I get you some water?

Emily: Yeah.

[Knock on door]

Emily: That would help, thanks.

Lucky: Hell of a first night on the job, huh?

Man: Yeah. It's not over yet. Ross Duncan.

Lucky: Lucky Spencer. Lansing hire you?

Ross: Yeah. He's who I interviewed with.

Lucky: So where'd you train?

Ross: Manhattan. Six years in uniform; four as a detective.

Lucky: Lansing comes from Manhattan.

Ross: Yeah, I testified against one of his clients once. He put me through a hell of a cross-examination. I didn't flinch, so I guess he was impressed, you know. Saw my name on the application. He remembered me.

Lucky: So why Port Charles?

Ross: Lansing made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Officer: Excuse me. We just had a report from Onstar. Your brother's car has been involved in an accident.

Lucky: Is Nikolas ok?

Officer: Sorry, I don't know.

Lucky: Ok, thank you. I'll check it out.

Woman: Who's there? If this is an act -- I'll get you inside, and then I'll go for help.

Paramedic: Driver was gone by the time we got here. Door was open, there's blood on the headrest. We're assuming he wandered off, dazed by a head injury. We checked the area, but there's nothing.

Lucky: How far away is the river?

Paramedic: Less than 100 yards. The bank is steep. The river's in flood. If the driver fell in, he could be dead by now.

Woman: Hold on! I'm going to get you into bed, and then I'm going to go get help. I had my phone disconnected. I couldn't handle the sympathy. My car's in the shop as usual. Come on. There's an emergency phone box on the road. Oh -- oh -- oh, come on, guy. Don't you die on me, too.

Ric: Can you remember anything else?

Emily: Zander told me that he'd done something to Nikolas; that he'd hurt him somehow. And by the time Zander admitted that he was lying, the police were already there.

Ric: Did Zander ever mention a man named Wally?

Emily: No.

Ric: Did he admit to killing the utility man in the basement of the hotel?

Emily: No, and even if he did, I'm sure it was an accident. Zander never wanted to hurt anyone. All he wanted was for me to run away to Canada with him. He wanted to cross the border at Kirbyville. There's a footbridge there. We almost made it over once. Things would be a whole lot different now if we had.

Lorenzo: None of this has turned out the way any of us wanted.

Carly: Well, what did you want, Lorenzo?

Lorenzo: What?

Carly: I mean, did you really -- did you really want me, or did -- did you just want to take me away from Sonny?

Lorenzo: Both. I was telling the truth at that custody hearing, Carly. From the moment that I had you on the yacht, I thought you were in an abusive marriage. Maybe it wasn't physically abusive, but I mean if you tell me that Sonny never hit you, then I believe you. But he treated you like a piece of property, Carly, like something he owned. And the way you talked about yourself -- you described yourself as greedy and trashy.

Carly: Yeah, well, I didn't want you to like me.

Lorenzo: Yeah, well, it didn't work. All I saw was this beautiful, courageous woman who didn't know her own potential. I just wanted to show you, and yes, I wanted you, Carly. There's no question. But I also wanted you free of Sonny, and free to figure out your own life. I knew it wouldn't be an easy process.

Carly: Oh, well, that's an understatement.

Lorenzo: Yeah, well, I've made allowances. For instance, I've never taken offense at the fact that you turned to me to make Sonny jealous.

Carly: I came to you because I was hurting; because I was in pain.

Lorenzo: Wounded by Sonny. You wanted to hurt him back. It's ok, Carly. I'm not accusing you of making reassurances to me that you didn't want to make. You committed to Sonny for life, so obviously you still have feelings for him. I understand that. I expect nothing less. But I also know that you have feelings for me, and they are just as real. I can work with that.

Carly: Oh, Lorenzo, you know, I really -- I -- I would love to make promises to you. I would love to be able to give you the unconditional love that you give to me. But I just -- I just need some more time.

Lorenzo: Well, take all the time you need.

Sonny: I know this goes without saying, but I'm going to say it anyway. I want you to keep a close eye on Carly, everything around her. Visit Michael and Morgan as often as you can. And you need to make sure that Alcazar does nothing to hurt Carly or my sons.

Jason: I will.

Sonny: All right.

Jason: What about you?

Sonny: I'll visit the boys as much as, you know, as possible. I'll probably take them to different places, you know. The less I see of Carly, the better. You know, it's much easier when she's not in my face. How's Sam?

Jason: Uh -- she seems fine. You know, she's waiting upstairs.

Sonny: Are you gearing up to tell me Sam doesn't belong here?

Jason: It's your life. You get to do what you want to do.

Sonny: You think this is what I want, Jason -- my kids living across town, sleeping upstairs with a man I hate? What happened happened, right? There's -- I mean, you know, I mean -- there's no going back. There's no starting over. There's no apologizing. We just got to -- all I know is how empty this place is when Carly and the kids are gone. How quiet it gets at night. Sam helps. That's all I can tell you. She helps.

 [Knock on door]

Carly: Oh, who is it?

Jason: Carly, it's me. Alcazar still there?

Carly: What if I said yes?

Jason: Come on, just relax. I just told Michael I'd fix this for him and bring it back.

Carly: All right, I'll give it to him in the morning. Hey, I sent Lorenzo home -- without sleeping with him, if it makes you feel any better.

Jason: That's a little more information than I'll ever need.

Carly: Well, did you see Sonny?

Jason: Yeah.

Carly: And did he tell you what happened?

Jason: He told me that you guys signed the custody papers.

Carly: Oh -- please just forget the custody papers. Obviously, he told you that Lorenzo was here.

Jason: Yeah, but I don't know where you're going with this.

Carly: Jason, I thought he would be furious with me, right? I thought he'd jump all over my case for having a drug lord in the house while my kids were upstairs sleeping, but instead he -- I don't know, he looked slightly less interested than when I would talk to him about fabric swatches. He does not care that I am with another man. He was in and out of here so fast -- he had to run back to Sam, right? She was waiting for him, his little girlfriend.

Jason: Carly -- please, Carly! You're with Alcazar. What do you expect Sonny to do, fight him every time he sees the guy?

Carly: Yeah! You know what? Because it would be a hell of a lot better than complete indifference. Because I know that no matter how hard I try, I'm never going to be completely indifferent to Sonny. God, I miss him, Jason. I dream about him at night. You know, there's nothing that I can do. I am going to love him until the day I die. There is nothing that I can do about it.

Sonny: Oh, this is great. I was just coming up to find you.

Sam: Oh, you were?

Sonny: Yeah.

Sam: I was just upstairs taking the most wonderful, long, hot bath.

Sonny: Yeah?

Sam: Yes.

Sonny: How was it?

Sam: Oh, it was like heaven.

Sonny: Really? You shouldn't be pushing yourself.

Sam: Oh, I'm fine.

Sonny: Yeah?

Sam: Yeah. Come on, taking a bath isn't exactly classified as stressful activity.

Sonny: Yeah, but being here is. I mean, all my family problems coming in and out the door, you know?

Sam: I like being here.

Sonny: Yeah?

Sam: Yeah.

Sonny: But it's probably not a good time for you to be here, you know. You -- you need to be someplace warm, someplace where you can heal, you know, and get pampered, right? Where the hit man can't find you.

Sam: You're sending me away?

Sonny: Yeah.

Sam: Ok.

Sonny: But guess what.

Sam: What?

Sonny: I'm coming with you.

Sam: What? Are you kidding me?

Sonny: No, I'm serious.

Sam: We're going away together.

Sonny: If you want.

Sam: If? Yes!

Sonny: Yeah?

Sam: Yes! I want. Yeah.

Ric: All I need is your signature.

Emily: Papers in a file. It's hard to believe that's all that's left of Zanderís life. I'd like to go now.

Ric: Yeah, of course. Thank you for your help. I'm sorry for your loss.

Emily: Excuse me. I'm looking for Lucky Spencer.

Ross: Yeah, he's out on a call. His brother was involved in a car accident.

Emily: His brother?

Ross: Nikolas Cassadine.

Woman: Your pulse is steady. You don't seem to be going into shock. Of course, you could be bleeding internally. For a split second there, when I saw you on the front porch, I thought there'd been a terrible mistake.

[Nikolas gasps]

Nikolas: Who are you?

Sonny: Adios. You all packed?

Sam: Hola. Hello. Question.

Sonny: Right.

Sam: Can you elaborate? What's this warm place that we're going?

Sonny: Yeah. I own several casinos in the Caribbean, and there's one on the water, right? You can sail, you can swim --

Sam: Can you sail?

Sonny: Can I -- no, well --

Sam: Well, do you?

Sonny: I drive a power boat --

Sam: You do?

Sonny: Pretty damned fast, I tell you that.

Sam: Oh, my God, I can't wait.

Sonny: Yeah. Well, there's one condition, ok? It's nonnegotiable. This trip that I'm taking you on is my present to you, right? So I get to -- I get to buy you pretty things. I get to spoil you. I get to do whatever I want. I don't want to hear anything about, you know, how independent you are, how you're going to pay me back. It doesn't matter.

Sam: Ok, ok. I will accept this gift as the most wonderful gift I have ever had.

Sonny: Well, that's what I like to hear.

Sam: Good.

Sonny: You like to gamble?

Sam: Do I like to gamble? Oh, yeah. But you should know, I have no luck. Terrible.

Sonny: No?

Sam: None. None.

Sonny: Maybe your luck is changing.

Sam: Maybe.

Jason: Is he all right?

Carly: Yeah. He's just -- he's so fussy, and he feels a little warm, Jason. I'm going to get the thermometer. You just take him for a minute.

Jason: Sure, sure. Hey, buddy.

Carly: Oh, sweetie. Yeah.

Jason: How you doing?

Carly: Feel him.

Jason: It's ok. No, no, Carly, call the pediatrician first. He's got a high fever.

[Morgan screams]

Jason: You may have to take him to the emergency room. It's ok, buddy.

Ric: Elizabeth?

Elizabeth: Hey.

Ric: When I didn't find you at home, I figured you'd come back here. Still thinking about Zander?

Elizabeth: He's my baby's father. Now he's dead, and I just -- I feel -- I feel sorry. I feel relieved and yet I feel -- I feel guilty.

Ric: That's understandable.

Elizabeth: And I just -- I can't -- I keep wondering how we could have prevented what happened here tonight, and what on earth are we going to tell this child?

Ric: Well, look, we'll decide that together when the time comes. Listen to me. This child is going to have everything that Zander didn't have. The child's going to be the center of a very happy family. It's going to benefit from all the good that we have to give it.

Elizabeth: Yeah, and we're free to do that now, because Zanderís gone.

Ric: Yeah.

Elizabeth: I need to know. Was Emily right? Did you really want Zander dead?

Lucky: Emily.

Emily: Detective Duncan brought me out. He said Nikolas was in an accident. Where is he? What happened?

Lucky: They think Nikolas suffered from a head injury and he wandered off.

Emily: Ok, well, you have to find him.

Ross: We're on it. We have men on the ground. Helicopters are going to check the river.

Emily: River?

Lucky: I know it's been a night of hell for you already, but it might not be over. You might have to prepare yourself for the worst.

Emily: Just tell me now.

Lucky: The river is less than 100 yards away, and it's in flood. If he fell in, he might have drowned.

Woman: You've been hurt. Just try to stay calm.

Nikolas: I don't -- I don't recognize this place. How did I get here? What's -- what's my name?

Woman: Don't you know?

Nikolas: I don't know anything. What -- what happened to me?

Woman: You hurt your head, but you're going to be all right.

Nikolas: Who are you? Who are you?

Woman: I'm your -- wife.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Nikolas: If we're married, where's my wedding ring?

Carly: Jason, what if something's really wrong?

Jason: We'll find out at the hospital.

Sonny: This is my present to you.

Sam: Why? When this is obviously really special to you and Carly.

Ric: Nikolas may be dead.

Emily: Don't you dare say that!
