Ric: Uh-huh. Yeah. Uh-huh. Wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait a second.
Elizabeth: I would like to report a missing person. My husband, Ric Lansing. Hi.
Ric: Hi. Yeah. Thanks. I'll call you back. I'm sorry, sweetheart. It's just -- it's been really crazy since Scott died. I'm trying to pick up the slack on all of his active cases.
Elizabeth: I know, but do you think you can come to dinner with me just for an hour, please? Please?
Luke: Sorry to interrupt. I just received this. You've got to see it right away.
Ric: Why? What is it?
Luke: Well, for one thing, it explains a lot about what happened during the fire. Hi.
Scott: Hiya, Spencer. You might want to pour yourself a stiff one because, as you can see, Iím alive and well.
Lorenzo: Sonny and Carly are about to go to war over their children. If you and I work together, we can --
Jason: I will never work together with you.
Lorenzo: Even to prevent Michael and Morgan --
Jason: You're the reason this happened. I don't need your help, and I sure as hell don't want you near those kids.
Sonny: You see, there's really no future in this.
Sam: Right. You -- you are mad at your wife, and I'm the rebound girl. I get it.
Sonny: No, no, no. No, you don't get it because, see -- I'm -- Iím going to end this because I don't want to see you get hurt.
Alexis: I assumed that you wouldn't want Sonny to know that he is Kristinaís father.
Carly: I wouldn't if I thought that Sonny and I could save our marriage, but I know that we can't. I need a good lawyer, Alexis, or Iím going to lose my kids. So you tell me, what is it going to be? Do you want to help me keep my kids away from Sonny, or do you want to teach Kristina to call Sonny "Daddy"?
Alexis: You're capitalizing on a moment of shared weakness, Carly.
Carly: I had no idea that Sonny was Kristinaís father until you made a point of telling me.
Alexis: I thought I was going to die.
Carly: Well, you didn't, and now it's going to cost you.
Alexis: Carly, if you tell him that he's Kristinaís father, he's going to take her away from me.
Carly: Well, I would rather that he take away your daughter than my sons.
Alexis: With all of Alcazar's money, you could pick whatever competent custody attorney that you can find. Why are you going to the trouble of blackmailing me?
Carly: Because you have the most to lose. Besides, you were Sonny's attorney once and you know how he works. You can push his buttons, and you better discredit him before he does it to me.
Alexis: You and Sonny will look equally unfit to any competent jurist.
Carly: Oh, no, no, no, because you're going to make me look so good. Otherwise, you're going to lose your daughter. Make your choice, Alexis.
Alexis: I apparently don't have a choice, do I? If I do this, there are conditions.
Carly: Don't you worry. I will pay you every billable hour.
Alexis: That's good, because I'm going to charge you a fortune. From this point on, I dictate strategy, and from this point on, you do as I say. You squelch any desire or impulse you have to do anything reactionary. No tantrums, no stunts, no arguments. Is that clear?
Carly: Done. So what is our first move?
Alexis: You're not going to like it.
Sam: Hey, I can -- I can take care of myself.
Sonny: I know, I know. The easiest way to do that is just to, you know, walk out of here and not look back.
Sam: Ok, so what are you saying? Are you -- do you want to get rid of me? Hmm?
Sonny: I'm -- Iím trying -- I'm trying to be unselfish. Obviously, Iím not very good at it.
Sam: Ok. So you want to keep seeing me?
Sonny: Well, yeah. I mean, as long as you know and understand the limitations.
Sam: I do. I'm not -- I am not looking for a commitment. Sonny, I don't want to move into your home.
Sonny: What do you want?
Sam: I want what we had before -- just an escape. That's all.
Sonny: All right. Well, as long as you're clear that -- you know what's going on and everything.
Sam: Yeah, yeah, we're clear. I like you, Sonny, but I do not want to depend on you, much less love you, so you don't have to worry about that.
Sonny: Well, I'm not -- sure, I mean, you know -- I'm glad we -- we had this talk.
Sam: Me, too.
Sam: I'll be on my boat. Ok?
Sonny: Wait, wait, wait, wait. You all right? You all right?
Jax: Are you serious about starting over?
Courtney: I've already begun.
Jax: No, it's not enough just to run away, you know. You have to have a goal, some kind of purpose. Otherwise, you'll go straight back to Jason. You won't be able to stop yourself.
Georgie: Hey, I didn't know you were volunteering tonight.
Maxie: I'm not. I came to see you. I need to borrow some money.
Georgie: I spent everything I had on the hotel.
Maxie: Look, this is really important, Georgie. I'm going to go after Zander.
Maxie: Yeah, he said he was going to run away to Canada. I'm going to go find him.
Georgie: Zander probably died in the fire.
Maxie: No, Scott Baldwinís body was found in the basement, which means Zander got away. He said he was headed for a town called Kirbyville. I mean, there's a bridge right at the border there.
Georgie: Look, you barely know the guy, Maxie.
Maxie: I know him better than you think. The night of the winter formal, he was hiding in my room.
Georgie: You hid Zander from the cops in our house?
Maxie: He didn't mean to hurt anyone. He was desperate. He'd been framed.
Georgie: He told you this?
Maxie: Ric Lansing framed him, Georgie. Zander's innocent.
Georgie: Look, even if he got out, he probably doesn't --
Maxie: Zander has a bullet wound in his leg right now, ok, and I'm the only one that can help him. I've emptied my savings account, but I can't do anything without your help.
Georgie: Maxie, this is crazy.
Maxie: Zander's in trouble right now, and Iím the only friend that he has. Please, Georgie, will you help me get to Zander?
Scott: You're probably wondering, Spencer, why I would fake my own death and leave the glory of the D.A.'s office. Well, it turns out that internal affairs had been investigating me and they had been for some time. I guess they weren't too pleased with some of my shenanigans. Of course, I was just trying to bring you criminals to justice. So I figured why go to jail? Time to leave town. I don't like jail the way you do.
Elizabeth: Was he really being investigated?
Scott: So I found that stiff in the hotel basement --
Luke: If he was, he's guilty as hell and he can't face the music.
Scott: Dental records around. Well, you know how that kind of stuff works, huh, Spencer. Now, the bad news is the Blackthorn treasure -- I thought that that was going to finance my travels out there, but it was stolen right out from under my nose. I hope it wasn't you that stole it.
Ric: Why is he confessing all this now?
Luke: One reason -- me.
Scott: So, I figure Iím going to take the kid on a trip, sail the seven seas, hang out in the Caribbean, yeah, because she kind of grew up when I wasn't looking. That's happening to you, too, Spencer, with your kids. But you know what I'm going to do first? I'm going to drop in on Laura. I know how much she loves the ocean. Maybe she'll come with me. So why don't you stew on that, huh?
Ric: Have you checked on your wife?
Luke: I called the hospital. They've agreed to double the security around her, but he's probably bluffing.
Luke: But I'll tell you this -- if he gets within five feet of my wife, that bastard will be dead for real.
Ric: Officer -- officer, I need for you to get this to forensics. Have them go over every inch of it. We also need to order another autopsy on the body that was I.D.íd as Scott Baldwinís. Oh, boy.
Elizabeth: This is crazy. I mean, if Scott got out of that fire alive, then --
Ric: Then the body that was found on the basement is probably Zanderís.
Emily: Don't you ever get tired of manipulating people?
Helena: I am trying to help you both.
Emily: Nikolas has never brought me anything but happiness, and now you -- you want him to believe that he's cursed?
Helena: Of course not, and Nikolas knows that what I'm stating is true. The Cassadines often love to the point of madness, and they very often destroy the one that they most want to save.
Emily: Well, Prince Nikolai never hurt Constance. Their love only made them stronger. It's the same with me and Nikolas.
Helena: Oh, I knew you wouldn't understand, but Nikolas does. Oh, Nikolas, you know I love you, and it's obvious that you love this girl. But the one thing that you will not be able to survive is her destruction. Now, if you continue this relationship, you will both be destroyed.
Emily: That woman never stops.
Nikolas: And everything she said is true. I warned you about this.
Emily: No one in your family actually went crazy because of love.
Nikolas: My mother's in a hospital, Emily, remember?
Emily: Nikolas, Laura had a traumatic experience in her past. That's the reason she's sick. It has nothing to do with Stefan or Stavros. I mean, look -- look at Helena. She's indestructible. Why didn't your grandfather's love destroy her?
Nikolas: But it did. Helena's psychotic. She may not wander around talking to herself or sit staring at a wall all day like my mother, but she's definitely insane.
Emily: Well, we're different.
Nikolas: You sure about that? You willing to bet your life on it, your sanity?
Emily: Don't you even think about leaving me for my own good, Nikolas. I'd only come after you, anyway. We love each other, and there is nothing wrong or destructive about that. We're going to live a long and happy life together.
Sage: The classics theater is playing "Streetcar Named Desire," but I was thinking we could see something new for once, like the one about the girl who wins a date with the super cute actor.
Sage: Did you seriously just agree to see a popcorn movie?
Dillon: No, I'm -- the first one.
Sage: Dillon, what's with you today?
Dillon: I'll be right back.
Travis: Can I get a protein shake?
Travis: Oh, Dillon. What's up?
Dillon: No, I just want to make sure that you and Georgie are ok since the fire.
Travis: Georgie's still worried about her dad. He's still in the burn unit.
Dillon: Ok. You know that she's afraid he's going to die, all right, so you need --
Sage: Tom doesn't need your advice on how to take care of his own girlfriends.
Dillon: Sage, we just went through this huge thing together --
Sage: Which I'm trying to forget. You said you were going to take me to a movie, so let's go.
Dillon: Tom says that Georgieís upset. I just want to make sure that she's --
Sage: So now you're back to worrying about Georgie 24/7?
Dillon: Sage, I'm always going to care about Georgie, ok?
Sage: Fine! Well, who do you want to be with, me or her?
Georgie: This is a really bad idea.
Maxie: Yeah, well, there's no way that you're going to stop me, ok?
Travis: You guys got to see this. It's about the fire.
Ric: Thank you all for coming. I have a very brief statement. Following the reported death of former D.A. Scott Baldwin, I have been named acting district attorney. It has now become a matter of public record that Mr. Baldwin was under investigation for extortion and flagrant misuse of a public office. That being said, however, new evidence has come to light to show that Mr. Baldwin is indeed alive and well and he has fled the state. He did not die during the fire at the Port Charles hotel as was previously reported. The body that was found in the electrical utility room was -- was wrongly identified. That body belongs to wanted fugitive Zander Smith, who has now officially been declared dead.
Reporter: Mr. Lansing, have police --
Maxie: No. There's got to be a mistake. Zander -- Zander can't be dead. No. No, he can't be.
Jason: Meyer, that freighter was supposed to dock yesterday.
Meyer: I left messages for Sonny. The leasing company has had some policy changes.
Jason: Like what?
Meyer: They want shipping schedules in advance and they've asked for full disclosure of the cargo.
Jason: Come on. What are you talking about? We've leased from Pride-Phillips for years. What changed?
Meyer: I don't know. But we can't use the piers till they get their paperwork. What do you want me to do?
Jason: Nothing. I'm pretty sure I know who's behind this, and Iím going to deal with them myself.
Justus: I understand Carlyís attorney, Jen McNeill, resigned from the custody case.
Sonny: Oh, great. Well, that should make it easier for you to get custody of my --
Justus: Not if you keep up this affair with that Ms. McCall.
Sonny: First, what I do with Sam is -- is my business.
Justus: You called in a favor --
Justus: From a judge and got Carlyís order of temporary custody set aside. Ok? Don't get overconfident, Sonny. Your life is about to be put on trial. Sam's the least of your problems. You're an alleged racketeer with a string of arrests.
Sonny: I have never been convicted, and Carlyís no model citizen, either.
Justus: The courts favor the mother, ok?
Justus: Michael's not even your biological son.
Sonny: I adopted Michael. He's as much my son as Morgan.
Justus: We're still going to have to prove that you're the better parent. Given the fact that you're a frequent target of violent attacks, that's going to be difficult, Sonny.
Sonny: What do you want me to do? I'll do whatever you want me to do.
Justus: You got to end this affair with Sam for one. Then there's the business, Sonny. No more questionable shipments, no shootouts, no bodies in the harbor.
Sonny: You want me to show the court that Iím a legitimate businessman?
Justus: It's the only way you'll hold on to your children.
Nikolas: Do you -- do you ever get scared by how much we love each other?
Emily: I was when I left you on the roof during the fire. As we were pulling away, I was sure that if you didn't make it, I wasn't going to, either.
Nikolas: Because -- because you know love that strong can -- it can overwhelm reason. It can turn into something --
Emily: No, no, no, no --
Emily: That's Helena talking. Don't listen. You're not some obsessed Cassadine prince. You're the man I love.
Nikolas: Hmm. Let me get that.
Nikolas: Oh, damn.
Nikolas: Hello. Lucky, it's -- it's good to hear your voice, too. Yeah, I would -- I would have come to see you before, but I -- what? When? No, no. It's ok. I needed to know. All right. Thanks for calling.
Emily: What is it?
Nikolas: Zander's body's been identified. He was the one they found down in the utility room.
Emily: Oh, my God.
Nikolas: Which means I killed him after all.
Emily: No, it -- it was an accident.
Nikolas: Emily, I locked him in the room. He was trapped when the fire started. I have to turn myself in.
Jax: Checking out the competition?
Sam: No, I'm just -- I'm just thinking. You know, Sonny's wife is going to fight him for the kids.
Jax: I'm not surprised.
Sam: Well, it's going to get ugly.
Jax: Well, most things with Sonny usually do.
Sam: Jax, did it ever occur to you that this isn't Sonny's fault; his wife was cheating on him.
Jax: After he shot her in the head.
Sam: You know what? Forget it. There's no point in trying to explain this to you.
Jax: Well, no -- no, why don't you explain it to me, Sam? I mean, what is so appealing about being Sonny's mistress?
Sam: You don't know the first thing about Sonny and me.
Jax: I know that he's using you. I know that he expects you to live your life around his. Now, don't you think you're better than that?
Sam: Are you really convinced that Sonny is going to break me down and make me miserable or are you afraid that we might actually work well together?
Jax: That's never going to happen.
Sam: Oh, why is that?
Jax: Because you won't let it.
Sonny: There will not be any business complications during the custody process. Is that what you want to hear, Justus?
Justus: And Sam?
Sonny: She won't be anywhere near my children.
Justus: Do yourself a favor. Don't parade her around in public.
Sonny: Me? What about Carly sleeping with a drug lord? Huh? What about that?
Justus: Lorenzo Alcazar is like you.
Justus: Everybody knows what he does. No one can prove it.
Sonny: Well, she's not going to give that bastard up, right? And I don't want him anywhere near my sons. My children stay with me. You find a way to make it happen.
Justus: This fight, Sonny, is going to get a lot worse than you're expecting. Carly can hurt you just as bad as you can hurt her.
Sonny: Bring it on.
Justus: And the ones who get hurt the most are your children. You want that for your sons?
Carly: Oh. They're beautiful.
Lorenzo: I never got a chance to take you dancing, and I thought we could remedy that tonight.
Carly: Ok. Well, first, we need to talk.
Lorenzo: Is it about the custody hearing?
Lorenzo: No, Carly, you need to get your mind off your problems.
Carly: Sonny's stealing my kids. I cannot get my mind off of that.
Lorenzo: All right. How can I help?
Carly: I hired a new lawyer, someone who is very qualified to handle this case.
Lorenzo: Who is it?
Carly: It's Alexis Davis.
Lorenzo: She's a madwoman. She is not the right person to get your children back.
Carly: I disagree.
Lorenzo: She put a knife in my brother's chest and pushed him over a balcony, Carly. If there's any justice, she'd be doing life in prison.
Carly: Ok, trust me. I do not want to work with Alexis. She is really the last person. But she's the only one that can handle Sonny.
Lorenzo: Oh, you're assuming because she represented him one time she'll be able to throw him off balance in court? You can't trust her, Carly. She despises you. I could see it when she walked in here.
Carly: Ok, please, Lorenzo. She already agreed to take the case. I need her. Please, just don't fight me on this one.
Lorenzo: All right. I know you'd do anything to get Michael and Morgan back, and I'll support you in any way I can, all right?
Carly: Thank you.
Carly: Ok, now, I know that you're not going to like this one, but we can't see each other anymore.
Sonny: Did you speak to Meyer?
Jason: Yeah, we got a problem with the leasing company.
Sonny: Yeah, I got the message. What, so they want full disclosure now before they allow us to land the ship?
Jason: Yeah, somebody is putting pressure on them. I think it's Faith.
Sonny: No, that's too subtle for Faith. Besides, she's not the only person working to take me down.
Carly: Sonny and I are not even divorced yet, and Alexis thinks that it would look bad to already be involved with someone else.
Lorenzo: Ms. Davis is arguably biased against me.
Carly: Listen. Even though Sonny has never been convicted, everyone knows that he is a mobster. I need to come off as the stable parent, the one with the secure and safe life. That way, I have a much better chance of winning.
Lorenzo: You already told Alexis you'd stop seeing me?
Carly: It's not my choice, Lorenzo. Listen to me. You have been there for me. You have been there for me when I needed you most, but both you and Sonny are known criminals and enemies. You have a very violent life, and I need to come across as a good mother.
Lorenzo: We're not even living together. And unlike Sonny, I don't get shot at on a regular basis, unless it's by Sonny.
Carly: Ok. You are the one who told me that I need to look at this like a game. I need to outthink my opponents and I need to not let my emotions get involved, right?
Lorenzo: That's true.
Carly: So you tell me. What do I do? What's the best way to win?
Lorenzo: All right, I get it. I'm a liability. I understand. I'll go.
Georgie: Maxie, you did everything you could for Zander.
Maxie: I did everything wrong. I left him in a room where he burned to death.
Georgie: Maxie, that was not your fault.
Maxie: No, Zander -- Zander would still be alive if I'd only told Mac where he was, if I had been honest. Lies are not the easy way out. They get people killed.
Dillon: We'll go after her together, ok?
Georgie: Thank you. But I need to go after her alone.
Mike: Hey. Mickey Five Hands. I almost didn't see you.
Mickey: Sure, you did. But you got no reason to run today.
Mike: Now, look, I know I'm a little behind on my payments.
Mickey: Actually, you're in the clear. All your markers have been paid off.
Mike: By whom?
Courtney: Your favorite daughter.
Sam: You want me to sabotage what I have with Sonny.
Jax: How can you avoid it? You run at the first sign of intimacy and commitment. Underneath that bravado, you're really quite scared.
Sam: You know, you are wrong, Jax. You don't know the first thing about me, and you never did.
Jax: Oh, come on, Sam, think about it. I mean, you're constantly chasing something that's just out of reach -- the cards, the treasure. You know, that way, if you lose, you can just blame bad luck, because if you really went after something meaningful, like true love, and you won, you know, you'd have to actually, you know, step it up a little. You'd have to make it last for the long haul, wouldn't you?
Sam: Well, you make it sound like I don't want to be happy.
Jax: Well, I'm not sure that you do. But by all means, prove me wrong. Find something that lasts. Find something that you can trust.
Sam: I don't even know how we ended up talking about this.
Jax: You chose Sonny because you know it won't work and just in case it does, you slept with me to make sure that he will turn on you.
Sam: No, you said you weren't going to tell him --
Jax: Oh --
Sam: About that.
Jax: I don't have to. I am sure that you will let that little secret out all on your own. Once Sonny realizes that you've lied to him, he will turn on you. That night in the fire was your escape hatch.
Sam: No, that night in the fire was about that time and that place and me needing you, Jax.
Jax: Sam, only until the danger had passed, and then you couldn't run fast enough to Sonny. And if he ever gets too close, you'll go running to someone else, which will probably save you in the end. The longer you stay with Sonny, the more he'll ruin you.
Ric: Scott Baldwin took advantage of the people of Port Charles. I will do everything in my power to make sure that he's brought to justice. That's all I have for today. Thank you.
Elizabeth: Oh, God. Lucky and I were so happy when we heard you were ok.
Nikolas: Yeah. Emily told me how much you were -- how much you were helping her.
Elizabeth: Oh --
Nikolas: I thank you for that.
Elizabeth: It's no problem. So, what, are you guys here about Zander?
Nikolas: Yeah, Lucky told us.
Elizabeth: It's pretty horrible, isn't it?
Emily: I wish I could have done something. If I had just --
Nikolas: Emily, Emily, please. Please, don't start blaming yourself, ok? I'm responsible for this.
Ric: Nikolas. Glad to see that you're ok.
Nikolas: Thank you.
Ric: Listen, I'm sorry that you were left in the building. The fire chief said that it -- it was too unsafe for his men to go back in there --
Nikolas: It's ok.
Ric: To keep searching.
Nikolas: It's ok, I understand. Anyway, I'm -- I'm actually here about Zander. If I hadn't locked him in the basement, he would still be alive today.
Maxie: You locked Zander in that basement? You left him to burn to death!
Nikolas: Look, Maxie, Zander and I had a fight. I knocked him out, locked him in the basement, and then went to go call the police.
Maxie: He was already unconscious. Why did you have to lock him in?
Nikolas: To keep him from running. The fire hadn't started yet. I never meant for him to die.
Maxie: Why should anybody believe you? You hated him!
Emily: It was a terrible accident.
Maxie: Zander loved you. You were the only thing that mattered to him, and now he's burned -- burned to death by your own boyfriend, and you don't even care!
Nikolas: Sorry. I'm sorry. I never intended for anybody to get hurt.
Georgie: Maxie, let's go. It's over.
Maxie: Shouldn't you arrest him or something?
Ric: Please, Maxie, calm down, all right? Look, Zander was a wanted fugitive. You know that. Nikolas didn't do anything wrong by locking him in there and notifying the authorities. If the fire hadn't broken out, he would be in the PCPD lockup right now.
Maxie: No, no. Zander was innocent! He told me he was!
Ric: Is there somebody we should call?
Georgie: We're staying with Bobbie. I'll take her home. Maxie, please, let's go.
Emily: We should make sure she's ok.
Nikolas: If we say anything else, it'll probably just upset her more. You have any questions for me?
Ric: No, no. From what you said, no crime was committed. Zander was a wanted fugitive. He attacked you. You tried to defend yourself. He was alive when you left, right?
Nikolas: Yeah, he was unconscious, but he was breathing.
Ric: All right, then, case is closed. Zander died accidentally in the fire. Now, excuse me.
Nikolas: I'm sorry. I know this must be --
Emily: No, I don't blame you. I just wish it would have turned out different.
Elizabeth: You guys -- I mean, no doubt it's terrible the way Zander died, but I don't see what any of us could have done to save him.
Nikolas: Let's go home, ok?
Ric: No, just -- I'm afraid you're going to have to wait. We just got the report back from forensics on Zanderís body. I need to know what you hit him with before you left the room.
Georgie: Let's just go back to Bobbieís.
Maxie: Oh, go ahead. I'll be fine.
Georgie: I'm not leaving you here.
Maxie: I can't believe Zanderís dead. I mean, I wish you could have heard him talk about love and much Emily hurt him and how much everyone here used him.
Georgie: You didn't. Look, you were trying to help, so, Maxie, please stop blaming yourself.
Georgie: All you did was help Zander hide in the basement. You didn't start that fire. It's not your fault that Macís hurt and -- and that Zanderís dead. Look, people made mistakes, Maxie. Terrible things happened, but it's no one's fault.
Maxie: I mean, that's the way Zander felt -- is that one mistake led to another until everything got out of control. But he wasn't a bad person, Georgie. He was so sweet.
Georgie: Maxie, Iím not saying that Zander deserved to die, but he used you. He knew how much trouble you could be getting in.
Maxie: He needed a friend, Georgie, and so did I! I'm sorry. I don't know if you can understand this, but no one is hunting Dillon down right now to arrest him. Your biggest problem is whether or not to admit that you've been in love with him this entire time.
Dillon: Are you ok?
Courtney: So, you doing ok?
Mike: Oh --
Courtney: You want some more potatoes or something?
Mike: No. What are you trying to do, spend the whole 10 million on dinner?
Courtney: Well, you know, actually, it's -- it's not just the money.
Mike: Well, what is it? I mean, how much more?
Courtney: I don't know. I'm afraid to talk about it right now.
Mike: Ah, I never pegged you for the superstitious type.
Courtney: Well, I'm not. I just -- do you think that maybe we could keep my good luck between just the two of us right now?
Sonny: I want you to meet with the heads of Pride-Phillips, find out who's pressuring them to change the lease conditions.
Jason: Ok. Are you sure that you don't want to send Meyer? Because all our business with Pride-Phillips has been through holding companies.
Sonny: Exactly. As far as they know, Landau transport is a legitimate business. Why are they double-checking us, anyway?
Sonny: I need you to find out for sure. Like I said, meet with whoever is running Pride-Phillips. You let them know that we're going to continue to use the piers as we always have with no interference.
Jason: All right. I'll be in touch.
Jason: This is a bad time.
Alexis: I'm here in regards to Sonny's children.
Sonny: Children? Since when do you have anything to do with my children?
Alexis: Carly has retained me as her attorney. She wants me to get her full custody of her children.
Dillon: So, Maxie and Zander, huh?
Georgie: Yeah. Just add it to the totally insane events of my recent life.
Dillon: I know exactly what you mean. The whole fire thing was just so surreal. It still is. How are you holding up, by the way, because Tom said you might --.
Georgie: Wait a minute.
Georgie: You asked Tom about me?
Dillon: Well, you know, you were great throughout the whole fire thing, and I saw you with Mac. I just want to make sure that you're doing ok.
Georgie: Mac is still in intensive care. My mom's been gone for forever, and who knows when she's coming back, and Maxie -- Maxieís blaming herself for this whole thing with Zander. So I guess I feel alone.
Dillon: You're not. You've got Tom, and you'll always have me.
Sage: There you are. You know I hate it when you vanish.
Dillon: Sage --
Sage: Let me guess -- you guys are in the middle of something. Well, you agreed to take me to a movie, and we're barely going to make it, so we might want to go.
Georgie: It's fine. We can talk some other time.
Dillon: Are you sure?
Georgie: Sure. Go ahead.
Nikolas: I didn't use a weapon to hit Zander.
Ric: That's not what this report indicates. It says Zander was dead before the fire started -- "a blow to the head with an unspecified blunt object."
Emily: That's not possible. Zander was alive when Nikolas left the room.
Ric: I understand that, but there's no -- there's no proof of that. I'm sorry. Nikolas Cassadine, you're under arrest for the murder of Zander Smith.
Alexis: I am certain that your lawyer has informed you that the courts tend to favor a mother in cases like this.
Sonny: My children stay with me, Alexis.
Alexis: Family court differs substantially from your so-called business. For one thing, a judge is not obligated to do what you tell him.
Sonny: Why are you here, Alexis?
Alexis: To make you an offer. Carly is willing to keep this out of court if the two of you can negotiate some sort of agreement for shared custody.
Sonny: Not interested.
Alexis: It's a reasonable -- more than reasonable offer.
Sonny: I'm not going to be separated from my children, especially when there's even a slight chance that her kidnapping boyfriend could be anywhere near them. My children stay with me. The mother's not even a consideration.
Alexis: I'll tell her that you rejected the offer. You need to know that I intend to win this case. So either you compromise or you're at risk of losing your children completely.
Lorenzo: I knew you'd enjoy the flowers.
Carly: You shouldn't be here, but I am very glad that you are. Oh.
Lorenzo: I've been thinking about what you said.
Carly: Me, too. And, Lorenzo, this is really -- it's just a temporary situation, because once I have my kids back, you and I, we can figure out exactly what's happening between us.
Lorenzo: I will keep my distance if that's what you want, but I think there's another way that I can help you win Michael and Morgan.
Lorenzo: By doing what Sonny never could. I'm giving up my business, Carly, here in the states. I'm changing my life -- for you.
Jason: I'm looking for the C.E.O. of Pride-Phillips?
Courtney: Jason, what are you doing?
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Luke: Why have you taken a dive off the wagon?
Courtney: The Company recently changed hands. I'm the new owner.
Lorenzo: I'm selling off my local interests. Make me a decent offer, it's all yours.
Sonny: You despise Carly. You think she's trash. Why are you taking this case?
