Emily: Look, this insignia -- it's exactly the same as your tattoo.

Nikolas: But what -- what's it doing in Constance Quartermaine's journal, though?

Emily: It's not -- it's not her journal. It's -- it's Blackthorn's, the pirate who took over the ship! Oh, my God. Do you think he was a Cassadine?

Jax: The plane you saw Samantha get on belongs to Sonny Corinthos so you might as well give up now because you will never see Sam or that treasure again.

Sam: Sam: You've -- you got your necklace. Now we're even.

Sonny: It's raining pretty hard out there, you know.

Sam: Yeah.

Sonny: Looks like we'll be stranded here all night. You want another drink?

Sam: No, I'm pretty exhausted. I want to, I think, just go to sleep right now. But there's only one bed and that's a problem.

Sonny: Why is that a problem?

Emily: Hey.

Nikolas: All right, so -- well, Edward told me that Blackthorn planned to take both Constance and the treasure from the Courage so -- he said that  Blackthorn fired on the ship just to -- you know, just to try and disable it, but the ship started to sink, so he then boarded the ship in an attempt to, you know, save Constance. But the legend has it is that Constance was in on the attack, that she and Blackthorn planned to run off with the treasure, but the -- the ship sank with both of them still onboard and they -- they died in each other's arms.

Emily: Oh, Blackthorn was a lot like you.

Nikolas: He got himself and his girlfriend killed, Emily.

Emily: Ok well, not exactly like you, but -- but love was more important to Blackthorn than money. He was an incredibly brave and romantic man.

Nikolas: Well, Constance, she was -- she was just as brave. She was a woman who made her own decisions. She --

Emily: Who followed her heart.

Nikolas: Like someone else I know.

Emily: Ok.

Nikolas: Uh --

Emily: I want to find out what happened after that first meeting in the park -- you know, how Blackthorn got to know Constance, how they fell in love, all that good stuff. Ok. Wait. Look.

Nikolas: What?

Emily: Someone -- someone ripped out a few pages from the back of the journal.

Nikolas: I doubt they were interested in the story of the doomed lovers.

Emily: Huh.

Nikolas: Let's see. It -- it looks like the corner of a map or --

Emily: Do you think it could lead to more treasure?

Nikolas: That's exactly what I think.

Georgie: Look, I can read you pretty well Dillon and I know you like to take chances, play the movie out in your head. And if you think about it, the mob boss' sexy niece makes a lot more sense in the scenario than Georgie, the straight-A geek.

Dillon: I don't think of you that way.

Georgie: Well, you should because that's what I am and we never had sex because every time we tried, I backed out. But Sage didn't hesitate and neither did you.

Dillon: Georgie, you said we were broken up, ok?

Georgie: Then I have no reason to blame you, right?

Dillon: Look, I told you I was wrong. I told you I made a mistake. What more can I do at this point?

Georgie: This is why it was a bad idea to call you on New Yearís.

Dillon: What does that mean?

Georgie: You're getting mad.

Dillon: I'm -- I'm frustrated, ok, I miss you.

Georgie: No, you feel bad because you're with Sage, but I don't need your pity.

Dillon: No, I don't pity you.

Georgie: Good because the sooner you and I can stop living in the past, the better for both of us.

Dillon: You know, I went to Kellyís as soon as I got your message. If you had waited around, we might have been able to spend New Year's together!

Georgie: It's a hospital! You shouldn't be yelling.

Justus: Whoa.

Dillon: Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't -- I didn't even see you there.

Justus: Not a problem.

Dillon: You just -- you saw everything that just happened, didn't you?

Justus: It was hard to miss.

Dillon: Yeah. Yeah, her name is -- her name's Georgie Jones and I love her.

Justus: That much I figured out.

Dillon: My mom and I were fighting about it that day that you -- the day that you came over to help decorate the Christmas tree?

Justus: Oh, I take it Tracy doesn't approve.

Dillon: She set me up. She practically, like -- like shoved me into my room with this other girl and then sent Georgie up there to -- to walk in on us.

Justus: Walk in on you?

Dillon: Sleeping together, ok? Sleeping together. I'm a jerk. I'm a -- I'm a useless slime who sleeps with a girl he doesn't love and then breaks Georgieís heart and -- but you know what? Like -- like my mom -- my mom is a total liar and Georgie knows that. She also knows that my family was, like, pressuring me. You'd think if she loved me as much as she says she does that she'd be a little more understanding.

Justus: In my experience, no one can truly understand a Quartermaine except another Quartermaine.

Brian: Sorry, I shouldn't have done that.

Courtney: I'm not ready for anything more than a friendship.

Brian: Neither am I. Kissing you just brought up feelings that I'm not quite ready to deal with. I mean, it feels as if I'm being unfaithful to Karen and I know that probably sounds crazy. It was just a kiss, right?

Courtney: Brian, you loved your wife, you know. I mean, you thought that you were going to spend the rest of your life with her.

Brian: Sometimes I just -- I still can't believe she's gone.

Courtney: Well, I'm sure it will take a long time for that feeling to pass.

Brian: Yeah well, people say my period of mourning should be over, that I should get on with the business of living.

Courtney: You know what? There is no such thing as a set period of mourning. Everyone is different. You just have to do what's right for you.

Brian: I don't know what's right. It feels as if I'm caught up in this balancing act between where I've been and whatever comes next.

[Carly screams]

Carly: Oh.

Jason: How long has this been going on with Alcazar?

Carly: What are you talking about?

Jason: You were in the park. I couldn't hear what you were saying but I saw enough.

Carly: Oh, so you followed me?

Jason: Just give me an answer! How long have you been cheating on Sonny?

[Glasses clink]

Sam: Hmm. Could you please keep it down, please?

Sonny: You a light sleeper?

Sam: Oh. You're intentionally trying to keep me awake.

Sonny: No, not at all. Maybe you're just nervous about something.

Sam: Ok. I'm awake. Are you satisfied?

Sonny: What are you all keyed up about? This island?

Sam: It's just an island.

Sonny: Oh.

Sam: I heard about it doing salvage work. It's remote, nothing much going on. Nobody will ever think to look for me here.

Sonny: Has no connection to the treasure?

Sam: That's -- that's ridiculous.

Sonny: Really?

Sam: Yeah.

Sonny: My mistake.

Sam: How could this place possibly be connected to a treasure that's in the bottom of the Port Charles harbor?

Sonny: I don't know. You tell me.

Sam: Forget it. This conversation is over.

Sonny: Did you find the treasure yourself or did you steal it from the people who were shooting at you when you jumped on my plane?

Sam: On second thought, I am going to hike those five miles into town.

Sonny: Ok.

Sam: Thank you very much.

Sonny: Yeah, have a nice trip.

Sam: Yeah, I hope your wife enjoys the necklace -- ow! Ow!

Emily: So the treasure wasn't Blackthorn's, right? It was the Quartermaines'.

Nikolas: Right, but Blackthorn was an infamous pirate. He must have had his own cache of gold and jewels that he'd taken from the ships.

Emily: So if a map is torn out of his journal --

Nikolas: It might show us where he stashed some of his stolen goods.

Emily: Why would a wealthy Cassadine prince become a pirate in the first place? What, the thrill of it?

Nikolas: He must have thought it was necessary.

Emily: To steal from others when he had so much himself?

Nikolas: I don't know. What if the prince's family had fallen on hard times and he decided it was up to him to pay off the debts and rebuild the family fortune, just like it's up to me now? Question becomes, how far am I willing to go?

Dillon: Maybe I should just move out, you know?

Justus: You're still in high school, aren't you?

Dillon: Well yeah, but that doesn't matter. I mean, you and Jason are like the only halfway sane relatives I've got. I'm not counting Emily because she's not biologically a Quartermaine, thank God for her.

Justus: You think it's the family's fault you broke up with your girlfriend?

Dillon: Well, nobody forced me to hook up with the other girl but, God, you know, I'm thinking, like, maybe I have some sort of genetic predisposition to being unfaithful. I mean how many illegitimate kids has grandfather had, seriously?

Justus: Two, I think, counting my father.

Dillon: Sorry. Was that insensitive?

Justus: Not at all. It was a statement of fact.

Dillon: Yeah. Well, like, Alanís cheated on Monica a million times and Nedís had about four or five wives himself and my mom -- I'm not even going to -- I've lost track of how many husbands and boyfriends she's had.

Justus: I think the point you're trying to make is that you're doomed.

Dillon: Yeah, maybe I am.

Justus: Look -- Edward and Lila have been together more than 60 years. Monica and Alan are still together. You could say that's sainthood on the part of Lilaís or insanity on Monicaís or you could argue that both Edward and Alan have both made mistakes but refuse to leave the women they love.

Dillon: What about you?

Justus: I've never met the woman I think is worth fighting for once things got difficult, but that's just me. Maybe you're more like Edward and Alan.

Dillon: Oh God, I hope not.

Justus: They're not all bad.

Dillon: Yeah, that's why you're such a frequent visitor to the house.

Justus: Excellent rebuttal. You ever think about going into law?

Dillon: Film school all the way.

Justus: More power to you. You -- you need a ride somewhere?

Dillon: You know what? I have to meet up with somebody. Thank you for letting me dump all that on you.

Justus: Like it or not, we're family. We sane ones have to stick together.

Dillon: Excuse me. Has Georgie Jones left?

Woman: Yeah, she just left. Do you want me to take a message?

Dillon: No. You know what? That's ok. I'll probably see her around.

Brian: You apologized once sending mixed signals. I know I'm doing the same.

Courtney: It's ok. I mean, you've suffered a terrible tragedy in your life and I can't even begin to imagine the kind of pain you must have felt.

Brian: You're hurting yourself a lot right now.

Courtney: Yeah, but compared to you, my problems seem pretty insignificant.

Brian: Yeah, but you're still hurting.

Courtney: It's more than that. You know, I'm just -- I'm really confused right now.

Brian: Confused ?

Courtney: I know that I can't go back to my marriage, but I -- I still love Jason. I'm not sure that that'll ever stop. So my emotions just keep going back and forth every day, every hour.

Brian: I could give you the same advice you gave me. It'll take time. Don't rush it.

Courtney: I couldn't even if I wanted to. You know, I have no idea what's going to happen next and I don't want to lead you on.

Brian: You're not.

Courtney: I mean, I don't even know how I'm going to feel tomorrow or next week.

Brian: It's all right. The way I feel right now is very grateful for where we are.

Elizabeth: Looks like Courtneyís moving on from Jason.

Ric: Does it matter to you?

Carly: I am not cheating on Sonny.

Jason: Kissing Alcazar isn't cheating?

Carly: He kissed me. I pushed him away.

Jason: Have you been calling him, meeting him at that footbridge?

Carly: No, I went to the bridge to be alone, to get my head together and he just showed up.

Jason: Or he followed you.

Carly: He said he needed to think.

Jason: Ok, so why did you stay long enough to even speak to him?

Carly: Yeah, fine.

Jason: Carly, you said -- you told me that you were better, that you loved Sonny.

Carly: I do! Jason, I do! I cannot explain what is going on! I don't know what's happening to me! Maybe it's some sort of side effect from the shooting. I've tried to talk to you about it. I tried to explain it. I asked you what it was like to have impulses that you couldn't control, feelings that were so strong that you didn't know how to handle them!

Jason: Yeah, but feelings for Alcazar?

Carly: Listen to me. I do not -- I do not love him. I don't know what's going on inside my head. I -- I can't explain it. Listen, I do not want to be with Alcazar. I don't want to think about him. I just -- I just -- I just need to shake this and then I can get my life back under control.

Jason: You know, when Sonny finds out about this --

Carly: Jason, please donít. You cannot tell him what you saw today.

Sam: Ow.

Sonny: That hurts?

Sam: Yeah, a little.

Sonny: That's a pretty bad -- could be poisonous.

Sam: No, it's no big deal. I'll be fine.

Sonny: Hey, why don't you just lay on the bed, get --

Sam: No, why, so you can watch over me in exchange for another piece --

Sonny: Hey, come on.

Sam: Of my treasure? I don't think so.

Sonny: Don't be stupid.

Sam: Look, I don't need your help, ok?

Sonny: You all right? Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Emily: Thanks. Ok. "I knew nothing of Constance beyond her name and I resolved to return to the park in hopes of seeing her again."

[Baroque music plays]

Emily: "Shortly thereafter, destiny brought Constance to me for a second time."

Man: Give me your jewelry or I'll cut your throat!

Nikolai: Get away from the lady or you'll answer to me.

Nikolai: Is today your day to die? I'm inclined to believe so.

Constance: Who do I -- who do I have to thank for such a daring rescue?

Emily: Sounds like Constance became a major complication in Blackthorn's life.

Nikolas: Well, I'm sure that he intended to pay court to her as Prince Nikolai, not as Blackthorn the Pirate.

Emily: Well then, he shouldn't have kissed her when he saved her from the bandits.

Nikolas: He couldn't help himself. He was overwhelmed by her beauty.

Nikolas: Maybe it's fate. Constance and Nikolai lost the treasure and you and I were meant to find it.

Ben: No one double-crosses me.

Cody: Oh no, see, it wasn't a double-cross. I just wanted to make sure that my daughter was ok.

Ben: What kind of chump you take me for?

Cody: No, no, really. It's true, I swear. See, I can even tell you where Samantha is headed. There's this map. It shows where the pirates hid their treasure. It's like a mother lode and it makes everything that I pulled up from the Courage look like pocket change. So Samantha tore this map out of a journal and she took off in a plane with Sonny Corinthos.

Ben: They could be headed anywhere.

Cody: Yeah, I know, I know but I happen to know where they are headed. The Azure Keys. We could go there first and we could split their treasure 50:50.

Elizabeth: You know, a few months ago I probably would have said I told you so if Courtney broke up with Jason, but now I'm a little more forgiving. We all make mistakes. We all get hurt. None of us are perfect.

Ric: She sure hurt your feelings when she started dating Jason.

Elizabeth: Well yeah, but this was more my issue than hers. I mean, she was sneaking around, keeping the relationship a secret. I'm the one who took it personally.

Ric: It's understandable, sweetheart.

Elizabeth: I can see things a little more clearly with distance, you know, and I think Courtney just got caught up in her attraction to Jason and the life he leads, and now she's made a decision to walk away from that life and I think I have an idea what that cost her.

Ric: That's very generous of you.

Elizabeth: Well, I have Emily. Who does she have? Carly's her best friend.

Ric: Wait, wait -- you're going to try and help here?

Elizabeth: I don't know. We were friendly at one time and I think she could probably use a friend right now.

Ric: You know what? You're really a wonderful person, Elizabeth, but I'm not sure that Courtney deserves your friendship, but I love you for it.

Brian: I feel like I'm the one who's been leading you on, saying that we should just be friends, then trying to kiss you, and then saying I shouldn't because --

Courtney: Brian, come on. You lost your wife. You know, you miss her terribly. That kind of feeling -- it doesn't just disappear. It's ok. I understand.

Brian: I think you do.

[Pager beeps]

Brian: Work. Thank you very much for the dance and the talk.

Courtney: Anytime.

Brian: I may take you up on that.

Jason: Sonny deserves the truth.

Carly: Jason, I didn't ask for the kiss. I didn't want it. What good is it going to do to tell him --

Jason: There's no way you can hide this. He needs to hear it from you before he finds out some other way.

Carly: Yeah and how is he going to find out, Jason?

Jason: He always finds out. Then he realizes that you lied to him and the whole thing blows up in your face.

Carly: Jason, I don't feel like this is something I can control, ok? I don't want this. I don't want to feel like this, but I do and there is no way that Sonny can possibly understand that.

Jason: He understands that you had a brain injury.

Carly: So what? It doesn't matter, Jason. He's going to see this as a betrayal and it wasnít. I have never cheated on Sonny. I have always been loyal to him and I have always been faithful.

Jason: When you and Sonny got back together, he asked for one thing -- honesty. He said he could handle anything as long as you never lied to him again, Carly, and you agreed!

Carly: And the truth is, Jason, we both know that Sonny cannot handle everything. What about Michael and Morgan? Hmm? This could just tear our family apart. Is that what you want?

Jason: I'm not --

Carly: Do you? I swear to you, Jason, I don't want to see Alcazar again and the last thing I want to do is to hurt Sonny or jeopardize our marriage. You don't want us to go through that again, do you?

Jason: No, I donít.

Carly: Thank you, Jason. I swear, you will not regret this. I -- I promise you.

Emily: Ok, we need to search the grotto where the treasure was stashed. Maybe the missing pages from the journal will still be there.

Nikolas: Well, whoever took the pages kept them to follow the map but we might find some other clues. All right.

Emily: Oh my God.

Elizabeth: Hi.

Courtney: Hey. You here for dinner?

Elizabeth: No, just a cup of decaf tea would be great, thanks. Ric has business at the Haunted Star so I'm going to meet him in a little bit. Do you have time to take a break?

Courtney: Yeah. Yeah, sure.

Elizabeth: Thank you.

Courtney: So, I guess you and Ric have worked things out.

Elizabeth: Yeah, actually, we got remarried and we're expecting a baby.

Courtney: Congratulations.

Elizabeth: Thank you. Thank you.

Courtney: You look really happy

Elizabeth: I am. I am. It's hard to believe that this is all happening.

Courtney: So, how did you and Ric get back together?

Elizabeth: Oh God, I guess I just realized I really loved him.

Courtney: It must have been hard for you to put the past behind you and move on.

Elizabeth: Yeah. Yeah, it was but I'm glad we did. Listen, I was kind of hoping that maybe you and I could do the same. I know we've had our share of disagreements, but it all seems so very menial now, doesn't it?

Courtney: I -- I guess you heard that Jason and I are separated.

Elizabeth: Yeah, and I'm sorry. I know that must have been a tough decision.

Courtney: It was but there's no point in staying in relationships that can't possibly work.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I saw you in here earlier with Brian and I just wanted to tell you it's a good thing that you're moving on.

Brian: It's going well. Courtney started confiding in me about her feelings for Jason.

Ric: Good, I knew I picked the right man for the job.

Brian: It's just a matter of time before you have all the information you need to arrest Sonny and Jason, eliminate the entire Corinthos mob.

Sam: Treasure.

Sonny: Relax, no one's going to take your treasure.

Sam: Journal.

Sonny: You know what? You should probably just rest. Ok?

Sam: I tore out the pages, the map. More treasure.

Lorenzo: We both felt what just happened.

Carly: Just stop it, all right? It's over.

Lorenzo: You can't fight yourself forever. You can't fight yourself forever. You tell me you don't want this and I will let you go.

Carly: God!

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Nikolas: Dead.

Emily: Oh, my God.

Ric: I want you to get Courtney to talk about Jasonís business.

Elizabeth: Are you having second thoughts about letting us raise the baby?

Jason: I'm going to do everything I can to make sure you never see Carly again.

Carly: You saw me and Lorenzo on the bridge tonight. What did you do to him?
