Sonny: If you've got something to say, tell me now.

Faith: Alcazar's after your wife.

Sonny: What else is new? You're wasting my time, Faith.

Faith: No, he is in love with her, and he won't stop until he gets her.

Sonny: What do you have to gain by telling me this? Do you know something I don't know?

Carly: Michael, have you seen Mommy's keys? Michael, sweetie? Honey, did you take them and put them in your jacket pocket? Yeah, Johnny, come on in. Johnny? Is that you? Come on. Okay, that's weird.

Jason: You know what? I think Sonny's wrong, but maybe he is, maybe he isnít. He's got to figure it out for himself, and I just -- you know, I think it's good that he's close to home.

Courtney: Yeah, I'm agreeing with everything you're saying, you know, but --

Jason: But?

Courtney: I think this is the best thing for Sonny and Carly right now. I do. But what about us? You know? This is our life, our home. Don't you think we should be able to set some boundaries?

[Knock on door]

Carly: Hey. Did you guys just knock on the door?

Jason: No.

Carly: Then who did?

Nikolas: Hi. I'm glad you changed your mind.

Alexis: He snuck dessert up to my room against Helenaís orders. He told me I was brilliant and sent me to college when Helena thought that I could never do it. I came to say goodbye.

Nikolas: Oh.

Alexis: When did Scott Baldwin show up?

Nikolas: I don't know. Excuse me. I'm sorry, this is a private gathering. I'd prefer no police.

Scott: Well, I would prefer to catch Luke Spencer, and he's not going to miss this shindig.

Nikolas: Just don't interfere with this service, okay?

Scott: Yeah, okay.

Ric: Hey.

Scott: Everything set, Lansing?

Ric: Yeah, we got cops at all four corners.

Scott: Good. This place gives me the willies.

Ric: You really think he's going to show?

Scott: Of course he's going to show. This is his big moment. And when he does, we grab him.

Ric: If it isn't Luke Spencer in the flesh. Give him an A for effort.

Lucky: Dad must be losing it if that's the best he can do.

Skye: Oh, God, everybody is staring. Why did I let you drag me into this?

Scott: Skye Quartermaine. How nice of you to show up. I didn't know you knew Cassadine. Did you two date?

Skye: I'm here to support Emily.

Emily: You are?

Scott: And your friend here -- I don't believe we've met.

Helena: Well, good evening, everyone.

Ric: Who the hell is that?

Scott: That's the queen bee.

Helena: Well, why is everyone so surprised? Didn't you know I would come? Oh, honestly. Someone has finally accomplished what I have been trying to do for years. And perhaps I should thank that person who is responsible. Brava. I love the veil. Well, would everyone please stop staring? I gave birth to Stefan Cassadine. I couldn't possibly miss seeing him put into the ground.

Nikolas: Hello, Grandmother.

Helena: Nikolas, my darling.

Nikolas: I didn't realize you'd be attending.

Helena: Well, I'm here to offer you my support.

Emily: He doesn't need support or anything else from you.

Helena: Well, I see you haven't managed to lose your little friends.

Nikolas: Emily's right. You're not welcome here.

Helena: My darling, I haven't been welcome anywhere since before I can remember. Nikolas, I lost your father and my precious Mikkos to the Spencers. I warned them both for years. But, please, would you deny me the opportunity to celebrate this, now that Luke has finally gotten something right?

Lucky: Get out.

Helena: Well, Lucky. Lucky, what a pleasure to see you. And all dressed up in your impressive uniform. My, such shiny buttons.

Elizabeth: Aren't you supposed to be in a convent in Antarctica?

Helena: Nuns and penguins, penguins and nuns. It's all black and white. Oh, they're not much fun at all. Especially this time of the year.

Lucky: How did you find out?

Helena: You can practice your interrogation skills on someone else, Cadet Spencer. This is a Cassadine funeral. I am the Cassadine matriarch, and I have every right to be here.

Nikolas: Okay. You have permission to stay for the service but not after. There is nothing for you here.

Helena: Isn't he magnificent? He doesn't even need a uniform. Ah, but look at you, Lucky. Your father must be very proud of you. And your mother, too, if she were not catatonic in the back ward of an insane asylum.

Lucky: You aren't even supposed to be in this country.

Helena: So law abiding. And handsome. In a proletariat sort of way. Oh, Lucky, didn't we enjoy our time together? And doesn't your father look smashing in that dress? Well, my little mouse. Motherhood doesn't seem to quite agree with you, does it? You know, it's so like you to produce a daughter instead of a son and then disintegrate into galloping insanity trying to -- trying to what, Alexis? What were you trying to accomplish by stabbing that unfortunate man and then shoving him off of a balcony?

Alexis: Get away from me.

Helena: I knew you would turn on Stefan eventually. All he needed was your so-called legal expertise. And you betrayed him.

Alexis: As opposed to poisoning him and throwing him overboard?

Helena: Oh, that's good. No, it was the principle, my dear. Not that I would expect you to understand that. Although, I hear that you displayed great talent as a butler. Now, you see, there is something that you can do well. I always knew that you were put on this earth to serve others, and the sooner you accept that, the happier you'll be.

Cameron: I don't believe we've met. I'm Cameron Lewis.

Helena: Oh. Oh, you're the -- you're the boyfriend?

Cameron: God, no. She's just a former patient.

Helena: Oh, I see. You are the one who helped Alexis fake her mental illness. Are you sure she was faking?

Alexis: Get away from me.

Cameron: Oh, don't leave on my account. You're a fascinating study -- scorned wife, rejected by both sons.

Helena: Well, at least they didn't shoot one another, now, did they? Go back to your books, Dr. Lewis, with my little mouse. And beware -- she'll betray you. She always does. It's in her nature.

Cameron: No wonder you're such a lunatic.

Priest: Good evening. We are gathered this evening to mourn the passing of Stefan Cassadine, cherished son, loving uncle, devoted brother. May you all find comfort in your time of loss. May the memory of Stefan sustain you in your grief.

Courtney: Actually, Jason and I were just talking about --

Carly: If you didn't knock on the door, who did?

Jason: Where's Johnny? Where's Johnny?

Carly: You know, you're right, you're right, you're right. It's probably Johnny. He probably knocked on the door, and he went for a break.

Jason: You let him take a break?

Carly: Is Sonny around? Because, really, I want him to say good night to Michael.

Courtney: We were hoping that Sonny was with you.

Carly: Are you kidding? That would make too much sense. I'm hungry. Do you have any chips?

Courtney: Actually, we were kind of ready to call it a night.

Carly: Oh. You want me to leave, don't you?

Courtney: We don't want you to feel like we're kicking you out, Carly --

Carly: But it's supposed to be your honeymoon. Yeah, I won't bother you again. I promise. But I just have this feeling that I won't be able to sleep if I don't know where Sonny is.

Jason: Carly, if I go find Sonny, will you leave?

Carly: Yes. Probably. Maybe. Just, Jason, make sure that you explain to Sonny that he's ruining your lives.

Jason: Wait, what are you talking about, our lives?

Carly: Well, if he would give this up and he would move back in with me, you and Courtney could have a little privacy.

Jason: I'll go find Sonny.

Carly: Good.

Courtney: I'll go get the chips.

Carly: God, I love you guys so much.

Courtney: Oh, and we love you, too, Carly.

Carly: Thanks.

Courtney: Yeah.

Jason: What are you talking about this trampling Courtney? What is that? What did you say to her?

Carly: Listen; I want her to stick up for herself.

Jason: No, I want you to stay out of it.

Jason: You were in the apartment?

Johnny: Yeah, just checking things out.

Jason: Is everything all right?

Johnny: Everything's fine.

Jason: Good.

Lorenzo: What if Johnny hadn't called me to tell me what you were doing? Would you have told Sonny the truth?

Marcella: I want out of this.

Lorenzo: I'm about to give you a better life than you could ever imagine if you finish the job I hired you to do. Remember, everything I gave you I can take away.

Marcella: I understand.

Lorenzo: Good. Go back to the cemetery and wait for Sonny. Tell him that Carly's in danger because of him and he has to leave her.

Marcella: What if Sonny doesn't show up?

Lorenzo: He will. I've made sure of it.

Sonny: If you know something, tell me.

Faith: Alcazar wants me to work against you. I turned him down.

Sonny: Now, why would you do that?

Faith: I want to bring back my husband's organization, find a way to make a deal with you so we can co-exist like the old days, maybe get rid of Alcazar altogether.

Sonny: Why would I make a deal with you?

Faith: I am trying to help you. Not that you deserve it.

Sonny: Why are you so scared, huh?

Faith: Doesn't that tell you something? Look, whatever happens after this, just know even the mighty Sonny Corinthos can be wrong.

Sam: I hate working as a maid. I'd be out scavenging on my boat right now if you hadn't sunk it, and I'd probably have those cards safely destroyed.

Jax: Yeah? Well, then it's a good thing you can't get your grubby little fingers on the aces and eights.

Sam: How many times do I have to tell you that the dead man's hand has brought nothing but bad luck to my family?

Jax: And how many times do I have to tell you that my father thinks those cards will save his life? So I'm sorry if I'm going to have to beat you to them.

[Knock on door]

A.J.: Jax, the night manager tells me you're having a problem with one of my chambermaids.

Jax: No, not at all. And why would you care?

A.J.: I'm a hands-on C.E.O.

Jax: Is that right?

A.J.: Mm-hmm.

Jax: Well, you better start running E.L.Q. Word on the street is it's ripe for a take over.

A.J.: Hmm. Had a lot of complaints about this particular maid. She's rude, inexperienced. Basically, she has no clue about what she's doing. But don't worry. I will assign another maid to your room.

Jax: Oh, no, that won't be necessary. I really -- I don't have any complaints about her work.

A.J.: I'll pass that on. All right, you let me know if you have any more problems.

Jax: Well, I appreciate your concern.

A.J.: Absolutely.

Jax: See you later.

A.J.: All righty.

Jax: Yeah.

Sam: Okay. All right. What was that really about?

Jax: You know, I was just wondering the same thing.

Sonny: Carly, you home?

Sonny: Where you been?

Carly: Courtney and Jasonís.

Sonny: You look tired. You should probably rest.

Carly: No. We should be sitting on that sofa, and we should be picking out middle names for our baby. We should be upstairs. We should be bickering about what kind of wallpaper we want in the nursery room. We should be in our home together.

Sonny: I'll go upstairs and say good night to Michael, and then I'll go ahead and go.

Carly: Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Sonny: What?

Carly: Courtney and Jason are supposed to be enjoying their honeymoon. You and I are supposed to be happy about the birth of our baby.

Sonny: I know. But that's not the way it worked out.

Carly: Well, it can be if you would just let it be. I love you, Sonny. I love you no matter if you're across the hall or you are on the other side of the planet. And you're not going to save me by leaving me. You're only breaking my heart.

Sonny: I'm not abandoning you.

Carly: I love you. And it doesn't matter where you are or who is trying to destroy us. No one's going to touch what we have.

Jason: Who's there?

Priest: Please accept our prayers on behalf of this departed soul and grant him entrance into the land of light and joy in the fellowship of thy saints. Amen. Would anyone like to share a remembrance? Family? Friends? No one?

Helena: Well, fine. Anything to get him into the ground more quickly. Well, greetings to everyone. It's been quite a while, but I see that things have not really changed. Stefan is still a disappointment. Even his own funeral is getting dull. But then, Stefan was a dull boy. Well, what does a mother say about the second son? That he was second-rate in every way, that he wasted his life loving a woman who never returned his --

Nikolas: His life wasn't a waste. Sit down.

Nikolas: My uncle devoted his life to a family which did not respect him, to dreams which had zero chance of coming true. He devoted his life to me. I loved the man who raised me, the kind man who gave me the benefit of every doubt, whose greatest crime was to love my mother and forsake all others when she couldn't do the same. And who, in the end, made terrible and desperate decisions to keep his dreams for me alive. Thank you all for coming. Thank you.

Scott: Enough of this silly masquerade. You punk.

Helena: Who are you?

Dillon: Dillon Quartermaine. Nice to meet you.

Lucky: Where's my dad?

Scott: What are you doing here?

Dillon: Making a film.

Scott: A what? Where's Spencer?

Dillon: Actually, you know what? It's funny you should say that because he was the inspiration for it because since he had me working on his TV show --

Scott: Spencer doesn't have a TV show, you dummy.

Dillon: Yes, right. But it was more of, like, a crossbreed between, like, a cinema verite type of thing, and then a family feud, and then a courtroom drama.

Scott: Shut up! What are you doing here?

Skye: I told you the costume was too much.

Dillon: What?

Skye: You attracted way too much attention.

Scott: All right, that's enough. Both of you, come over here. You didn't even know Stefan, did you?

Skye: Well, he tried to kill Emily.

Scott: Emily, get over here. Did you invite her?

Emily: Well, actually, no. But if she wants to be here, then --

Scott: Enough, enough, enough. Lansing, what are you doing standing around?

Alexis: I know what you were doing here. It certainly wasn't to see Emily Quartermaine. You were waiting for me to lose it, weren't you?

Nikolas: I'd like you both to leave.

Scott: Whoa. Not so fast there, Fellini. Give me your purse.

Dillon: No!

Scott: Give me -- get out of here. It's what I figured -- a camera.

Skye: You and your movie.

Dillon: It's not a movie, it's a film.

Scott: It's a smokescreen. You're working for Spencer, right? He hired you to film this whole event, huh? Come on, spit it out.

Skye: You're working for Luke?

Sonny: Wait, wait, wait. Hold on, hold on.

Carly: What, what?

Sonny: I canít.

Carly: What?

Sonny: I -- I'm sorry. You know what?

Carly: What?

Sonny: I can't do it.

Carly: Why? Why? Is lightning going to strike if you feel too good?

Sonny: We almost got in a plane crash, okay? We don't know what's going to happen next.

Carly: No one on the planet does, Sonny.

Sonny: But you can't -- you don't understand what I'm going through right now. It's -- you know --

Carly: You drive me crazy. You really drive me -- would you just feel this? Look, you feel my heart? You feel that beating? That is because of you. The baby inside of me -- that's because of you, too. We created a life that I am carrying. Why can you not be happy about that?

Sonny: I'm trying to prevent a tragedy.

Carly: Well, you can't, okay? You don't have that much power. You are not God. Sonny, whatever happens is going to happen because it's supposed to. All right. Take me to dinner, okay? We can go to dinner and have a good time.

Sonny: Okay. I'll take you to dinner.

Carly: Great. I better change before you change your mind.

Sonny: No, wait, wait, wait. Come here, come here, come here. I love you.

Carly: I know. I love you, too, and I always will.

Marcella's voice: "My darling Sonny -- you're fast asleep, but I'm still awake, thinking about the day we spent. My heart has so much to tell you. I had to put it down in words."

Jason: Who's there?

Faith: What are you doing in a graveyard?

Jason: I should ask you the same question. What are you doing here?

Faith: Have you forgotten my husband, like everyone else?

Jason: Yeah, right.

Faith: You can come out now.

Marcella: How did you know?

Faith: Because I saw everything. And just to be clear -- I'm not going to help you again. I'm not going to put myself between Sonny and Alcazar. And if you're smart, you won't either.

Jax: Well, it certainly is possible that A.J., you know, paid someone to steal a dead man's hand from my father and he's holding the cards for ransom.

Sam: Then he has the rest of the cards. Except, of course, for the jack of diamonds because that would be mine.

Jax: Yes, but not for much longer. Then again, A.J. could have nothing to do with this at all because he's already got E.L.Q., which is all he ever really wanted.

Sam: He's probably just one of those micromanagers. But if he doesn't have it, who does?

Jax: You better get back to work.

Sam: Yeah, you're right. I will be right down the hall.

Jax: Run along, now.

Sam: "Run along"?

Sam: Yes, can you please send a cab to the Port Charles hotel? Thank you.

Jax: Have someone bring my car around.

Jason: I want you to check out Johnny.

Stan: Sonny's bodyguard?

Jason: Yeah. I want you to see if he's made any large deposits into his savings account or any of his bank accounts. I want you to see who he's been calling or if he's had any meetings. Just check him out and get back to me.

Carly: Sonny? Sonny?

Courtney: Hey. You look nice.

Carly: Thanks. Thanks for coming over on such short notice, too.

Courtney: Is Sonny upstairs?

Carly: No. And I cannot believe I fell for this. He sent me upstairs so he could disappear.

Courtney: Carly, maybe he's on business or something.

Carly: You know, I've just had it. I've had it with him. Why should I go chasing after my husband when I'm about to be due with our own baby?

Courtney: You need to calm down.

Carly: No, you know what? I need to snap Sonny out of this, and I need to remind him that I'm what he wants.

Courtney: I think you need to stop and think first.

Carly: You know what? I think Sonny needs to think. Why doesn't he think whatever the hell he wants?

Courtney: What are you going to do?

Carly: I'm going to make Sonny jealous so he's not going to dare want me out of his sight.

Sonny: I found your letter. I don't understand. You wrote it seven years ago.

Marcella: Your family's in danger.

Sonny: What kind of danger? What are you trying to warn me about? Wait, wait, wait. You need to tell me what this letter means.

Marcella: I wanted to remind you about how I feel about you and that the happiest day of my life was the day you told me you loved me.

Ric: It was -- it was good to see you, even under these circumstances.

Elizabeth: Are you here as part of your job as A.D.A.?

Ric: Yeah, we were trying to catch Luke.

Elizabeth: Since you didn't, do you think you can respect Nikolas' grief and just go?

Ric: If that's what you want.

Lucky: Is everything okay?

Elizabeth: Yeah, I'm fine.

Lucky: Let's go.

Elizabeth: Okay.

Helena: Elizabeth -- be careful. Don't stumble.

Nikolas: You need to leave now.

Helena: Well, it was a lovely service, wasn't it? You know, that Quartermaine boy was really lovely in that dress.

Nikolas: Go on back to where you came from, Grandmother.

Helena: Well, just a few quick errands. I'll be gone.

Cameron: It's my card. I'd be happy to refer you to a competent therapist.

Helena: When our dear Alexis stabs you in the back -- and she will -- you might comfort yourself with this thought -- treachery lives in the genes. Someday Alexis' own daughter will betray her, and personally, I can't wait. I so adore symmetry.

Alexis: Let's go.

Helena: Oh, Stefan. You couldn't even be a star at your own funeral.

Helena: I used to shoot skeet with your grandfather. He would be so disappointed to see your lack of cleverness and perseverance, not to mention style.

Emily: I thanked the priest, and I sent him home. Do you need some time alone?

Nikolas: No. No, I've said all I needed to say.

Emily: Well, let's go.

Nikolas: Okay.

Luke: Well, the hump fooled them. Even your dear old mother fell for it, and God knows she's no stranger to deformity. How does that old joke go? "Knock, knock." You say, "who's there?" "Luke." "Luke, who?" "Luke who's dead. It ain't me."

Luke: Well, you seem pretty dead. Of course, that's what we thought about your brother, Popsicle Pete. See how that turned out. Yeah. I imagine you're dead. Doesn't really matter, though. I said I'd bury you, and I will -- dead or alive. I wonder why it doesn't feel better. Maybe your mother was right -- you're a disappointment even now. I can't get over this empty feeling, like I'm empty inside, like it's the end of an ancient feud. Or is it a hollow victory? Nah, I just forgot to have lunch. Burn in hell, Cassadine.

Jax: Well, well, well. Fancy meeting you here.

Sam: You lying dog.

Jax: I never said I wasn't going to drop in on the Quartermaines.

A.J.: So, what do we have here?

Jason: Is Carly all right?

Courtney: Sonny stood her up for dinner. She was furious. Anyway, she stormed out of here. She said she wanted to make Sonny jealous.

Jason: She went to Alcazar?

Lorenzo: First you call, then you actually show up. I'm honored.

Carly: I knew this was a bad idea. Forget it.

Lorenzo: No, no. Are you trying to make Sonny jealous?

Carly: What if I am?

Lorenzo: I'm happy to assist. I'll take you any way I can get you.

Sonny: Is Carly in danger?

Marcella: Terrible danger, because of you.

Sonny: What kind -- where did you go?

Sonny: I never told you I loved you. That's one of the biggest regrets of my life. You know that. She doesnít. Who the hell is she? And who sent her?

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Jax: She's my new girlfriend.

Dillon: I thought you were on Luke's side.

Skye: Absolutely not.

Nikolas: The war between our families died with my uncle.

Courtney: Carly was upset. She said you disappeared without a word.

Carly: You're lonely, Lorenzo.

Lorenzo: How would you know I'm lonely unless you're lonely, too?
