Dillon: Sir, there's something you need to know --
Mac: Shut up!
Dillon: No, this is not --
Mac: I'm not interested! I'm taking you home, Georgie.
Georgie: No. I'm not leaving.
Emily: There's no reason to do this.
Zander: Oh, you don't think so? See, because I do. As a matter of fact, I think it's way past time. See, Emily, I don't want to be the guy that you settle for because you couldn't have the prince. I need to know where you stand so I can figure out what Iím going to do with the rest of my life.
Emily: I made vows to you, Zander.
Zander: Emily, you were sick. You had a high fever. Maybe you weren't thinking straight. So Iím giving you the chance right now to get it right, ok? Do you want to be married to me or not?
Emily: Of course I do. We are married, Zander.
Zander: Emily, please, please. This is very simple, ok? Understand this question -- who do you love, me or him?
Emily: All right. I'll be -- I'll be honest with you because I don't have one more -- I don't have one more evasion in me, anyway. I love you, Zander, with all of my heart. And I love -- I love Nikolas, too.
Carly: Nikolas? Capelli, what are you doing here?
Nikolas: That's -- that's a good question. What do you want, Capelli?
Maxie: Wow. Those flowers are really amazing.
Lorenzo: I'm glad you approve. They're for Mrs. Corinthos. Will you take them to her?
Maxie: I'm -- Iím sorry. Mrs. Corinthos isn't accepting flowers. I'm sure geriatrics would love them. Would you like me to send them to them?
Lorenzo: I'd like you to clarify. "Mrs. Corinthos isn't accepting flowers."
Maxie: That's right. Not from anybody but her husband.
Sonny's voice: No! No! No!
Georgie: I realize this is upsetting for you.
Mac: Well, you're damn right about that.
Georgie: And you probably feel like you should punish me, maybe -- maybe ground me for the rest of my life or send me away somewhere, maybe to visit my mom in Texas or to some boarding school.
Mac: That sounds good, Georgie. Sounds good.
Georgie: And -- and I realize that I have to do what you say for a little while longer because you're the parent and -- and however you decide to handle it is fine, but I -- I have made my own choices on Dillon. He's my boyfriend and there's nothing you can do to change that.
Mac: I need some time alone with my daughter.
Georgie: It's ok.
Dillon: Ok, I'll be -- be right outside if you need me. You probably won't. Looks like you're doing fine.
Mac: I don't know where to start.
Georgie: Then let me.
Mac: Ok, sure. Go ahead.
Georgie: Mac, you know me. You've been a steady figure in my life since the day I was born.
Mac: And that's been my privilege and I always will be, but this --
Georgie: But you said you'd hear me out. For as long as I can remember, I -- Iíve lived for other people or for their approval -- Iím not sure which -- but I've always brought home straight Aís. I've never been drunk or even tasted alcohol. I don't do drugs and I don't have casual sex. In fact, Iíve never even had sex.
Mac: Thank God!
Georgie: I know you think Iím too young, but my friends have been doing it for years and I didn't jump on that bandwagon because I believe that making love should be something special, especially for your first time, reserved for someone that you really care about.
Mac: And you think that's Dillon?
Georgie: It is Dillon. I know that you don't like him, but that's because you've never given him the opportunity. You just assumed he was some jerk like Kyle and he's so not. Dillon is amazing and you'd know that if you just took the time to get to know him. He's smart and kind and generous and funny but most of all, he makes me happier than I ever thought I could be. He thinks I'm special. He'd rather spend time with me than anyone else in the entire world, and I love that. I can -- I can speak with him. I can share my deepest, darkest feelings and not worry about him judging me even if he thinks I'm off the wall, he'll try to understand and I won't give him up, not for you or mom or anyone.
Andy: You were the victim of a brutal attack. I just wanted to make sure you weren't vulnerable for another one.
Nikolas: Well, I wasn't aware Iíd been placed under police protection.
Andy: It's nothing official, Nikolas. I just had a hunch that your security could be tightened -- and I was right. So Iím going to put a couple of plainclothes on the floor. You won't even know that we're here.
Carly: Ugh. Don't you just hate cops?
Nikolas: Ugh. Well, I don't really think about them one way or the other.
Carly: What happened to you?
Nikolas: Oh, it's just a couple of thugs. All right, so -- so not that Iím not, like, honored or anything, but why -- why are you in here?
Carly: I was bored. Taking a walk and -- Nikolas, do you have any reason to believe that you were beat up on Lorenzo Alcazar's orders?
Jason: Carly --
Jason: What do you -- what do you think you're doing?
Carly: Hello! Um -- you know what? You're just in time.
Jason: Aren't you supposed to be resting? --
Carly: No, I'm trying --
Jason: Instead of harassing Nikolas?
Carly: I'm not harassing Nikolas. Do you feel harassed? No, I didn't think so, ok? I have a feeling that Alcazar's people beat up Nikolas.
Jason: And how is that your business?
Carly: Ok, just -- I was in Alcazar's apartment and I saw a document with your name on it. I had completely forgotten about it until I saw you here, and I just -- I'm thinking maybe that he's interested in you and your family. Do you have any idea why?
Jason: That's being handled.
Carly: Ok, I'm speaking to Nikolas.
Jason: And I'm going to tell Nikolas, don't discuss anything with her.
Carly: Ok, now, I resent that because I can be helpful right now, and I think --
Jason: Oh, no, you canít. So are you going to go back to bed on your own or am I going to have to carry you? Which one?
Carly: I'm having a --
Jason: Which one? Thank you.
Carly: Bye, Nikolas.
Jason: You need to tell me Alcazar hasn't seen these.
Zander: So you love me and Nikolas? How do you expect me to take that?
Emily: As an honest answer, Zander. That's what you said you wanted.
Zander: So what happened? Did I win the wedding lottery? Nikolas wasn't available and I was?
Emily: And I married you because you asked, and I love you.
Zander: So did it ever occur to you that being in love with Nikolas might put a strain on our marriage?
Emily: I didn't think that far ahead, Zander. "Till death do us part" was about as far as I could see.
Zander: Oh. Let me -- let me get this straight. You married me because you thought you were going to die?
Zander: Oh. Ok. Ahem. Ok -- uh -- if you knew you were going to live, where would we be right now?
Courtney: I'm sure everything's fine.
Sonny: Where's Carly?
Courtney: I -- I don't know, exactly, but she didn't go into labor. There's no medical emergency. I paged Dr. Meadows --
Sonny: Where's my wife, Courtney?
Courtney: Look, Jasonís looking for her, ok? I -- Iím sure he's tracked her down by now.
Sonny: Ok, you know -- where the hell you been?
Mac: The way I see it, I can give you the standard lecture on the dangers of unprotected sex. How your life could be ruined in any number of ways -- unwanted pregnancy, contracting HIV or any of the many STDíS that are out there. I could drone on and on about how important it is to keep up your grades, how there's a brilliant future out there just waiting for you as long as you keep your options open and your life complication-free. But I think if I said all that, your eyes would glaze over and I'd be wasting my breath because you already know this. Not only are you smart, you're wise beyond your years.
Georgie: Wow. Who knew you felt that?
Mac: My mistake for not telling you. You are a dream child, Georgie. You're focused, responsible. You've got great habits, a great heart, never a minute's trouble -- until now, when stolen bikes and hotel rooms have started to figure into the picture. Georgie, you may be smart and you may be wise, and you may be old enough to make love but you know what? You are too new in the world to realize all the ways a hurt you don't even acknowledge can grab on to you and make you act out in all kind of ways.
Georgie: Wait, you lost me. "A -- A hurt"?
Mac: The elephant in the room we're both afraid to discuss.
Nikolas: The pictures won't be a problem.
Jason: Yeah, maybe not for you.
Nikolas: They won't be for Emily either.
Jason: I'm protecting you because my sister loves you and I want Alcazar gone, but I'm not going to do it at Emilyís expense.
Nikolas: All right, all right, I got that.
Jason: How'd you get these?
Nikolas: Lydia. You know, someone sent them to her.
Nikolas: I don't --
Jason: Of course. You know, it could be Alcazar sending you a message, sending Lydia a message -- "get your husband under control" -- but you should've told me about these right away.
Nikolas: I -- I intended to, but --
Jason: Anything that might jeopardize my sister, you pick up the phone and you call me. Otherwise, you're on your own.
Nikolas: Look -- look, I love Emily, ok, and -- and I'm going to marry her as soon as Alcazar's out of the picture. Now, that makes me highly motivated. You don't have to worry; Iím not going to mess things up.
Emily: I can't answer what if, Zander. I mean, how could I possibly know? What -- what would you have done if you hadn't thought that -- that I was dying?
Zander: Your being sick never changed a thing for me, Emily. I never stopped loving you; not when you went away to school; not when you pushed me away; not when you lied about the cancer.
Emily: No, what Iím saying is if I hadn't gotten cancer, Zander, I'd be a sophomore at Stanford right now. Maybe I would've come home for the summer, maybe not. We might've found our way back together; maybe you'd be with Gia right now. What we can deal with is what happened, and if I had to do it over, I wouldn't have asked Nikolas to help me hide the cancer from you. That's when everything went so crazy. Look, there must have been signs. I mean, I know there were. You know, Nikolas told me a thousand times that I was making a huge mistake, but I -- I couldn't hear it. All I could think about was protecting you from the agony of watching me die. So I did -- I did ask him, and I can't take it back, Zander, any more than I can -- any more than I can erase what happened in the cottage the night Nikolas -- the night things got out of control with Nikolas. What I can do is apologize for being unfair to you and promise that it will never happen again, Zander. From here on out, I won't even let myself be alone with Nikolas.
Zander: Well, that isn't a great way to start a marriage. Bride ties herself to the deck so she doesn't run off with the other guy.
Emily: No, wait, listen, that is not -- that is not what Iím doing, Zander. I love you. You are my husband. I don't want anything between us to change.
Zander: Ok. Since we're debating what ifs, what if I can't stay married to a woman who keeps another man in her heart?
Emily: What are you saying?
Zander: I've seen those pictures, Emily. You and Nikolas all over each other, not giving a second thought to me or our marriage. It's going to take me a long, long time to get those images out of my head.
Emily: I understand. I understand, Zander.
Zander: Ahem. In the meantime, I have no intention of hiding in Spoon Island because the prince gave me an order. So, you need to jump when Nikolas says to. I'm sure he will protect you. But if you want to stay married to me, you will trust me to protect you in our home.
Carly: I just had a lecture from Jason on this so if you don't mind, I'd rather skip this one.
Sonny: Ok, Carly, don't do that with me. You swore you'd never put our baby at risk again.
Carly: I went for a walk.
Sonny: You're in the hospital, in a bed, for a reason. Instead of staying there like a sensible pregnant woman would, you're out roaming the halls. What -- I don't -- where were you?, up on a roof, where anybody who wants to hurt me can have a clear shot at you?
Carly: Ok, you realize you're being completely over the top about this. I didn't go for a walk in a dark alleyway by myself. I am in a hospital. I took a stroll down the hallway where there are doctors and nurses and patients all around.
Sonny: Ok, Queen of Angels was supposed to be safe the night of Courtney and Jasonís wedding. Look what happened. Stop thinking about yourself and how bored you are and start paying attention to keeping our baby safe.
Carly: Ok, did you just hear that? What the hell is going on with him?
Courtney: Sonny thinks he's going to lose you. I'm not saying he's right or even rational, but it's what he fears.
Carly: Come on, Sonny knows I would never leave him.
Courtney: Just like Jason would never leave me, but that didn't stop me from convincing myself that he would after I lost the baby.
Carly: Yeah, but Sonny knows how much I love him. I mean, we have been through hell and back together at least a dozen times.
Courtney: But that makes it even worse, Carly. I mean, you are the best, most precious thing that has ever happened to him and what has this life taught him? I mean, everything he treasures, he loses. That pattern hasn't been broken yet. I just -- I think Sonny feels like he's had more happiness than he deserves, you know, and the closer you get to having that baby, the more he's going to be convinced that something awful is going to happen.
Carly: I know. I know, I know, I know, you're right. He's just worried about the baby. He's all wound up, and I should've thought about it from his perspective.
Courtney: Hey, Iím not saying he's right.
Courtney: Believe me.
Courtney: I mean, he can't expect you to be understanding when he's going off on you. Sonny's afraid and I think that it was the fear that made him go off.
Carly: Oh. You know what I'm realizing?
Carly: It is a damn good thing that we all found each other. I mean, who else is going to put up with a bunch of twisted paranoids like us, huh?
Courtney: Yeah, but we got love.
Carly: Yeah, that we have.
Sonny: Hey, Jason, come here.
Jason: What's wrong?
Sonny: Been looking for you.
Jason: Is this about Carly?
Sonny: Yeah, yeah.
Jason: What's going on?
Sonny: She's being pigheaded. She's insisting on wandering the halls instead of being in bed resting. Alcazar's showing up here whenever he wants to, so I need you to put two people on her at all times. I want somebody in front of her room, somebody on the stair-- no, wait. Bad. I want three people -- somebody in front of her room, somebody on the stairwell, somebody in front of the elevator.
Sonny: And actually, we should put --
Jason: Sonny, Sonny, Sonny.
Jason: Just listen to yourself.
Sonny: What? You think I'm overreacting?
Jason: Well, you -- come on, I know you're worried. It's understandable, but everything's fine. You got to relax and accept that Carlyís fine and your baby's fine.
Sonny: I'm not.
Sonny: I didn't want to tell you, I didn't want to get into this, but Iím seeing things.
Jason: What? What kind of things?
Sonny: I went to Lily's grave to make sure that everything's back in order. I looked down at the headstone. Lily's name was not on it. Carly's name was. Freaked me out, turned away, turned back, Lily's name was back on it like it always was. Now, my mind is playing tricks. You should've seen me before. I almost took Carlyís head off because she was walking down the hall.
Jason: She'll be ok. Why are you punishing yourself over Lily? She forgave you, Sonny. She wouldn't want this. You got to let it go.
Mac: Remember that summer a couple years ago when you'd wake up every night with stomach pains?
Georgie: What does that have to do with anything?
Mac: I think it's related to this thing you have for Dillon.
Georgie: That's pretty obscure.
Mac: Your stomachaches started when Felicia left to help Luke find Lucky. As soon as your mom came home, the pains went away.
Mac: So? Remember how furious Maxie was with Felicia? And you were the peacekeeper, Georgie, you know, just happy to have your mom home and jumping through hoops to make sure everyone was happy, too. Maybe it's your time to be furious. Felicia's been gone a long time.
Georgie: Are you saying my feelings have something to do with my mother being gone? That's ridiculous.
Mac: Is it?
Georgie: I'm not mad at my mother! She's not here because my grandmother needs her.
Mac: It can still feel like abandonment. Look, you both have absent mothers in common, Georgie. Maybe that's why you've bonded. It's just your way of avoiding issues you don't want to address.
Georgie: I so don't agree. I'm in love with Dillon, and the reasons why have nothing to do with my mother.
Mac: Well, time will tell but in the meantime, I guess you've made a decision, haven't you? I may not like it, but I'll respect it, and trust you to keep a level head and to be responsible.
Georgie: You don't have to worry.
Mac: Oh, yeah, I do have to worry. Accidents happen, you know. Robin never meant to get HIV and she's one of the most conscientious people on the planet. Georgie, you're standing on the brink of the rest of your life. I mean, maybe you'll love Dillon through it. You probably won't. I just don't want you to make a choice now that could take away your future.
Georgie: That's it?
Mac: I heard you before. There's nothing I can say or do that's going to make you stop loving this boy. I'll take you at your word. I love you, you know? I love you so much. I only want what's best for you.
Georgie: I know. I love you, too. Thank you for being so understanding.
Mac: You owe me 200 bucks for this room, you know.
Dillon: Um -- why am I not being hauled out of here in a body bag?
Georgie: I was extremely calm and persuasive, not to mention very mature.
Dillon: Because I could've sworn I was -- I was going to jail for sure. You know what I mean?
Georgie: Mac only wants what's best for me. Or you had them changed. I don't even know why I'm so upset. It doesn't make any sense. I mean, one moment Iím this completely mature adult making my own choices and the next Iím just a lonely little girl in the dark with a stomachache wishing my mother would come home.
Dillon: Wow. Mac is better than I thought.
Georgie: What do you mean?
Dillon: Well, can you honestly say you still feel like making love?
Georgie: No, I donít.
Dillon: See? Mac wanted to stop us from having sex tonight, and he did.
Emily: What now?
Zander: We need to make sure that the windows are locked. I'm sure they are but we need to check.
Emily: All right. You coming up?
Zander: I'm going to sit here for a while.
Emily: Hey, Zander -- why don't you -- uh -- why don't you light a fire, and we can sit and talk. Or not. Whatever you want.
Zander: I don't want to sit and look at you by firelight and think that you're about to make love to Nikolas.
Emily: Zander, are you going to be able to get past this?
Zander: I don't know. I'm going to try but it won't be tonight.
Faith: So that's the update. Things are going according to plan.
Lorenzo: I want to take the next step as soon as possible.
Faith: Will you explain something to me? I don't get it. I mean, why is haunting Sonny the way to take him down?
Lorenzo: You'll have to trust me.
Faith: I'm not Sonny's confidante by any means, but I did live in his apartment for a while. He's not the type to throw salt over his shoulder or light candles in front of a shrine. There were no cards from psychic readers lying around the house. I mean, he's not the superstitious type. And even if he were, he was married to Lily Rivera for six months, two lifetimes ago. Why would her ghost have any power over him at all?
Lorenzo: Because that ghost has been haunting Sonny from the moment she died. I know. I have a ghost of my own.
Carly: Can we start over again?
Sonny: Yeah. I'm sorry about earlier.
Carly: It's ok. It's over.
Sonny: I don't think so. I think it's just beginning.
Dillon: You can't blame yourself for something like that. I mean, Mac knows more about manipulating people than you and I ever will. Not only is he a parent, he's a cop.
Georgie: But he played me like a video, and he was so honest and sincere when he was talking about how he respected me and my ability to make my own choices.
Dillon: Well, yeah, and I'm sure that part is completely and totally true and that's probably why it worked, you know? I mean, that's the key to parental manipulation -- the guy knows everything about you.
Georgie: Tonight was supposed to be ours, you and me alone, making love for the first time.
Dillon: Yeah, for the both of us.
Georgie: And now it's ruined. It's like Mac is hovering over the bed and my mom is peeping through the picture in the wall.
Georgie: And I'm doubled over in the bathroom with a stomachache.
Dillon: Watch out. My mom just went in there and she's blow-drying her hair.
Georgie: Some romantic night, huh?
Dillon: It had its moments.
Georgie: Well, you know, we could try again.
Dillon: What, in front of all these people?
Georgie: Are you terribly disappointed?
Dillon: No. I mean, I got to be with you. And, hey, now we have something to look forward to, you know? And by the way, next time we're getting the hell out of Port Charles, going to some five-star hotel in Manhattan overlooking Central Park .
Georgie: Or a tent in the farthest corner of the nearest national park, as long as it's just us.
Dillon: Just us.
Jason: What's wrong?
Courtney: Me. My brother. It's a genetic flaw -- we both push away the people we love the most. Just don't let me do it to you, ok?
Jason: I wonít. I love you too much.
Lorenzo: A man falls in love with a beautiful woman. Six months later, they break up. Years pass. He remembers her face, but he can't quite remember her name. It can happen like that, or -- or a man falls in love with a beautiful woman. Six months later, she dies violently. The man is entirely responsible. Years pass. Not only can he remember her name, he sees her face everywhere he goes; a passing profile on a street; a flash of a smile across a crowded room. When the woman you love dies violently because you didn't think fast enough, she follows you for the rest of your life. I know this because I've lived it for 15 years.
Faith: Who's your ghost?
Lorenzo: Her name doesn't matter. All that matters is she gave me the key to breaking Sonny.
Faith: You think that Sonny is just like you. That's a very big assumption. But Sonny has Carly and they have one kid and they have another one on the way. I mean, why would his dead first wife be high on his list of priorities?
Lorenzo: Lily has followed Sonny from the moment that car exploded. I'm simply finishing a job Sonny's already done on himself.
Sonny: I gave up on having a family when Lily died and then you came in. You and Michael came into my life and I've been happier, you know, than Iíve ever been. I knew I didn't deserve you, but I --
Carly: Sonny, that's not true.
Sonny: I'm -- Iím grateful. I'm grateful and all that. I was just hoping that God had -- ahem -- pardoned me for the life that I led, and then we lost our baby. But I knew that, you know, I understood the -- the limits of that pardon. But now we're going to be having a baby soon, right?
Sonny: And I just keep -- I keep feeling like Iím pushing those limits, and that you and the baby are going to pay for it.
Carly: No, I'm not going to pretend that I understand how the universe works, but I do understand a little bit about how this works here in this life and I think that you will get your pardon once you give it to yourself. I mean, can you try and do that?
Sonny: I'm trying.
Carly: Good. You keep trying, honey.
Sonny: You need to rest.
Carly: Yeah. I'm a little tired.
Sonny: You need to get your rest.
Carly: All right.
Sonny: I'm going to be here first thing in the morning to take you home.
Carly: I can't wait.
Sonny: All right.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Skye: Ned did not rape that girl.
Scott: Got proof?
Alexis: I need to talk to you about another problem -- your father.
Cameron: I desperately need your help.
Jason: Why'd you ask me to visit? You need something?
Nikolas: I understand you want to kill me.
