General Hospital Transcript Friday 9/19/03

Jason: So Alcazar helps Courtney beat this hit-and-run charge. He's going to think we owe him something.
Sonny: He hasn't made any demands yet.
Jason: He will.
Sonny: Maybe not. You know, he's trying to play hero for Carly. He shouldn't be asking for things, you know what --- I'm -- you ready? Ahem -- because we don't want to be late for your appointment with Dr. Meadows.
Carly: Yeah, um --
Carly: If -- I know you got a lot going on. If you're too busy, it's okay.
Sonny: I want to be there.
Sonny: Hold on.
Courtney: Are you okay?
Sonny: Hello? This is him. What do you mean? When did this happen? Oh. Okay, you know what, I'll be right there. I got -- I'm sorry.
Sonny: I got to take care of this. You going to be all right by yourself?
Courtney: I can take her.
Sonny: All right. I'll be there soon, all right?
Carly: Okay, okay.
[Door opens and closes]
Carly: Well, that didn't sound very good.
Courtney: Carly, I'm worried about you. What's wrong?
Carly: I'm just tired.
Courtney: Come on. You obviously don't want Sonny to go to the hospital with you. I mean, you looked relieved when he got that phone call.
Carly: The baby -- he stopped kicking. I think something's wrong.
Stefan: My, my. I didn't expect to see you here.
Lydia: It wouldn't be the first time you were wrong.
Stefan: Is it safe for you to be here, Lydia?
Lydia: Don't try to intimidate me. I'm not afraid.
Stefan: Well, then you're as reckless as you are naive. What do you want?
Lydia: I'm here because of Nikolas. Your beloved nephew is in serious trouble.
Stefan: Where did you get these?
Lydia: They arrived in the mail this morning.
Stefan: Was there a note?
Lydia: No, and no identifiable marks of any kind.
Stefan: They don't appear to be doctored.
Lydia: They're not. Nikolas was with Emily.
Stefan: This has to stop before Nikolas gets himself killed.
Man: Mr. Cassadine?
Second man: There is a problem with your credit.
Dillon: So this is it. You sure you're ready?
Georgie: I hope so. I mean, yes. Yes, I am.
Dillon: If you're not, though --
Georgie: No, I am. It's just -- do you feel naked?
Dillon: Well, I thought it might work better if we took our clothes off, but I guess we could try it. I mean --
Georgie: I'm talking about now, you jerk. I feel like the whole world knows I'm about to be devirginized.
Dillon: Oh, no. No, they're just trying to figure out my hair. Ignore it. I do.
Georgie: I'm serious, Dillon.
Dillon: I know. It's just -- I think it's just your imagination working overtime. You know, you're -- you're anticipating the big event.
Georgie: It's an event now?
Dillon: No, no, no. Forget I said that.
Georgie: But you still want to do it, right?
Dillon: I can't wait. So, I will see you at the hotel.
Dillon and Georgie: I love you.
Dillon and Georgie: Bye.
Georgie: I need your help really fast.
Lorenzo: Is there an update?
Andy: Nikolas Cassadine is getting your message as we speak.
Lorenzo: What about the pictures?
Andy: His wife found them with the afternoon mail. No return address, no postmarks.
Lorenzo: Nice work, Detective.
Andy: So, what's next?
Lucky: I'd like to hear the answer to that.
Stefan: Our creditors are sending a message.
Lydia: By sending dirty pictures of Nikolas and his married lover?
Stefan: They want to get paid. As long as Nikolas is with Emily, he's doing nothing to conceive a child with you. And without an heir, he can't collect the inheritance.
Lydia: That's my point. There isn't going to be a child or an inheritance. Nikolas treats me like a casual acquaintance. But when Emily calls, he's out the door.
Stefan: Then maybe you shouldn't have betrayed me. There's little I can do from inside here.
Lydia: That's all you have to say? I thought that you cared about Nikolas!
Stefan: The only solution is to make Nikolas a father.
Lydia: Nikolas doesn't want anything to do with me.
Stefan: Then you have to try harder. Seduce him. Isn't that supposed to be your great talent? You give Nikolas a child, he'll let Emily go.
Emily: Hello? Nikolas?
Nikolas: Oh, God.
Lucky: You read him his rights yet?
Lorenzo: I'd like to hear the charges first.
Andy: There's no charges. You're free to go.
Lorenzo: Question me without cause again and I'll sue the department for harassment.
Andy: You need to learn to observe without interfering.
Lucky: But you were questioning him.
Andy: Look, you haven't even finished the academy yet, Spencer. Things aren't always what they seem. Look, you want to be my partner, you'll learn fast. Patience and discretion make a case. Hothead mistakes can get us both killed.
Maxie: Okay, what is it?
Maxie: The fire? Sharks attacking you? I was at the lake with Kyle, and you said it was an emergency.
Georgie: Oh, it is.
Maxie: Prove it.
Georgie: Dillon and I are hooking up tonight.
Maxie: "Hook up" as in, like, kiss and stuff? Or, like, "hook up" as in "do it"?
Georgie: We're having sex and I need your help.
Maxie: Listen, Georgie, you're a lot younger than me. I mean, Dillon may really like you and you may really like him, but maybe you guys should wait.
Georgie: We already have.
Maxie: Look, this is a big deal, Georgie. This is what you told me when I first did it.
Georgie: Yeah, and you're still doing it, even though it was such a disaster.
Maxie: Things are different between me and Kyle, okay?
Georgie: Maxie, Dillon told me he loves me.
Maxie: Georgie, that's amazing.
Georgie: Then help me. I think Dillonís going to be really good at this. He said it was like a life event. He's probably scripting the whole thing in his head right this second.
Maxie: Well, then, you and I will throw in a few things that he won't expect.
Maxie: Trust me; this will be a night that you'll never forget.
Mac: I assume you'd been notified.
Jason: Who reported it?
Mac: The groundskeeper.
Sonny: Who's responsible?
Mac: We don't know. It's probably vandalism -- you know, kids who watch TV shows about vampires.
Sonny: Better find them, Mac. Better find them fast. Because otherwise I'm going to get them.
Mac: We'll take care of it.
Sonny: I wonder where they took her.
Jason: The police are going to investigate.
Sonny: The police can't protect people who are alive. How are they -- you think they're going to care about somebody who's been buried in the ground for seven years? They desecrated her grave, Jason. My wife and child were buried there.
Jason: You want me to leave you alone?
Sonny: Yeah, tell Carly that -- if she asks, that I'm just -- I've just got business to take care of. You better find them, Mac!
Courtney: Wow, look at the fingers. You can really see them.
Dr. Meadows: The new technology provides a lot of detail.
Courtney: It's so real. I mean, it's a little person already.
Carly: Dr. Meadows, is the baby okay?
Dr. Meadows: Oh, he's doing fine.
Carly: But he's usually so active and he's --
Dr. Meadows: Well, it's not unusual for him to settle down at this stage of his development.
Carly: So are you sure that he's okay and nothing's wrong?
Dr. Meadows: Well, it's getting a little crowded in there. But why don't you think about your baby as being quiet and cozy.
Carly: Okay. Now, that sounds good.
Dr. Meadows: He's doing fine. I'm just a phone call away if you need me.
Carly: Thanks. Okay, I knew it. I knew I was just being ridiculous. It's just that the baby has been through so much, and I just thought -- Sonny, he's just jumping out of his skin. He's so concerned that something bad is going to happen again, and -- all right, the baby's fine. That's all that matters. Courtney, you are really such a good friend, and I don't know -- Courtney?
Emily: All right, remind me again why we can't use the wheelchair.
Nikolas: I'm fine, I'm fine. But you just got out of the hospital, and you don't need to be back here again. Oh --
Lydia: Oh, my God, Nikolas, are you okay?
Nikolas: I'm fine, I'm fine. Oh --
Lydia: How did this happen?
Emily: I don't know. I just found him this way.
Lydia: Hello? Obviously, we need some help over here.
Nikolas: Lydia, Lydia, please don't make a big deal about this.
Lydia: My husband's had a terrible accident.
Nurse: I'll page Dr. Henry.
Emily: Okay, let's go find you a chair.
Lydia: Thanks, Emily. I can handle it from here.
Nikolas: She can stay here if she wants.
Lydia: I'm just upset. And I know how many bad memories Emily has here. I wouldn't want you to have a relapse.
Nurse: Your room is ready.
Emily: Okay, you call me if you need anything?
Nikolas: Okay, okay. Let's go.
Lydia: I'll be in as soon as I give the desk your information.
Emily: We gave it in the E.R., Lydia.
Lydia: That's okay. I just want a minute.
Emily: For what?
Lydia: I just have to know. Are you satisfied?
Emily: I don't know what you're talking about.
Lydia: Because of you, Nikolas was nearly beaten to death.
Emily: He got mugged, Lydia.
Lydia: The creditors did this because they want our money. They're putting a warning out to Nikolas to pay up, and he can't do that until he gets my inheritance. And for that, he has to make a baby with me.
Emily: I have nothing to do with that.
Lydia: You're stringing Nikolas along, Emily. It could wind up costing him his life.
Dillon: Excuse me. Somebody told me the family planning office was up here.
Nurse: It's closed for the evening.
Emily: Family planning, huh?
Dillon: Um -- yeah, I left my cell phone. Georgie was volunteering earlier, and I'm always leaving things everywhere, so --
Emily: Right. Your phone's right there in your pocket.
Dillon: Um -- did I say phone? I meant my keys.
Emily: Hey, listen, you don't have to explain to me. I mean, I think Georgie's great, you know? And you're being safe. That's good.
Dillon: So, I mean, like, what's going on with you? I mean, are you still -- you're not back in the --
Emily: Back in the hospital? No, I'm just -- I'm here helping a friend. You know, Dillon, what you and Georgie did for my wedding -- the gondola ride?
Emily: That was amazing. Zander -- Zander and I can't thank you enough for that.
Dillon: Oh, no, no, no, no. I mean, I just -- I think it's cool that you guys have been together this long. I mean, he was, like, your high school boyfriend or something, wasn't he?
Emily: Yeah. Zander's my -- Zander's my first love.
Dillon: Did you know all along that you guys would, you know, like, last this long?
Emily: You know, I hoped we would.
Dillon: So you got your wish.
Emily: Yeah. Yeah, I guess I did.
Carly: Oh, I am such an idiot.
Courtney: No, you're not.
Carly: I mean -- yeah, I was completely insensitive.
Courtney: Carly --
Carly: You've just been through a major loss, and I was being oblivious and dealing with my own insecurities.
Courtney: No, you put your baby first. I wish I had done the same.
Carly: I'm sorry, but you need to listen to me. Science -- it happens. So do miracles. Dr. Meadows did not say that you cannot have another child. She just said it may be difficult. You know, most things in life worth having are. You don't just give up.
Courtney: Carly, the baby is -- is beautiful.
Carly: Well, if he's anything like his daddy -- oh, is he going to demand all the attention that we can give him.
Carly: Well, yeah, "we." I mean, a baby is a full-time job, and -- God, I hope that, you know, you'll help. You and Jason are his godparents. I'm going to need a lot of help.
Courtney: Well, you don't even have to ask.
Carly: Oh, yes, I do. Because I need you. So, do you promise that you will be there no matter what?
Courtney: I promise.
Carly: And in the meantime, let's just keep this little meltdown between us. Otherwise, it's going to just make Sonny so nervous.
Courtney: I wonder where they went.
fCarly: Well, wherever it is, it's got to be important, otherwise he'd be here with me.
Sonny: You know what? Can you show some respect? Why don't you go ahead and leave. Now. Yeah, just leave.
Sonny: This is wrong, just wrong. I don't know who did this, Lily, but I'll tell you what -- I'll find out. I'll bring you back. The truth is you never left me. The moment you died is burned into my mind. I see it over and over and over again. But I don't want to -- I don't want to talk about that. I want to just -- I want to remember how you lived, the way you took care of me. All you did is love me. I should pay for what I've done, not you. Not Carly, not Michael, not my unborn child. Do me a favor. Watch over them. Protect them if I canít.
Carly: Oh, that was a big one.
Courtney: Yeah, it's just a storm.
Carly: Ooh, wait, wait, wait.
Courtney: Hey, Carly --
Carly: Oh --
Courtney: Here, sit down.
Carly: Ooh, I just got woozy.
Courtney: Sit down.
Carly: Ooh --
Courtney: You okay?
Jason: Hey, what's wrong?
Courtney: Carly just got lightheaded.
Carly: Jason, my body just, like, aches all over.
Jason: Could you get Dr. Meadows?
Courtney: Yeah, yeah, okay.
Georgie: So, what are we going to tell Mac when he asks about the bill for all this stuff?
Maxie: We'll just tell him it was something important.
Georgie: He's never going to buy it.
Maxie: Whatever. We have way more important things to worry about, like your outfit.
Georgie: I did bring one dress, but I'm not sure if it's right.
Maxie: It's fine. I brought a bunch of stuff. Let me decide, okay, because I probably have better taste anyway.
Maxie: Here's one option.
Georgie: It just doesn't feel like me.
Maxie: Isn't that the whole point? Not to feel like the same old Georgie tonight?
Georgie: But Dillon likes me for who I am, and I -- I don't want to cover that up.
Maxie: Then why do you even worry about what you're wearing, as long as Dillon sees you for you?
Georgie: He does. It's real. It's just --
Maxie: Tell me.
Georgie: What if I'm not any good at this?
Young man: How's it going?
Dillon: Hey. Good. Good, actually. Just, you know, choosing.
Young man: Yeah, well, don't overthink it, man. Remember, it's the motion that matters.
Dillon: Right, yeah.
Young man: Rock on!
Dillon: Rock on.
Dillon: Where's the goth?
Woman: Oh, he's stocking hair color. Maybe I can help you?
Dillon: You know, I think I forgot something.
Lydia: That's a look.
Lydia: I called Mrs. Lansbury. She's bringing over whatever you need to the hospital.
Nikolas: No, it's all right. I'm not staying.
Lydia: The doctor thinks it's a good idea.
Nikolas: Lydia, I've been pounded into oblivion, all right? The last thing I need is for you to --
Lydia: Just tell me what you need.
Nikolas: I'd rather just be left alone, thanks.
Lydia: Don't you mean with Emily? You do realize that she's the reason that you're in here?
Nikolas: She didn't have anything to do with this.
Lydia: Think again. Pretty hot. Nothing gets a girl's attention like candid photos of her husband about to bed another woman.
Nikolas: What, are you -- are you having me watched?
Lydia: Not me. Your uncle's unhappy bankers. They want to make sure that we pay up. I imagine that they thought I could use these photos to guilt you into staying home with me at night. Too bad you couldn't care less what I think.
Nikolas: Has she seen these?
Lydia: No, but maybe she should. Nikolas, these people want their money, and they'll do anything to get it. If these photos don't prove that, then the beating should.
Lucky: I can see the honeymoon hasn't ended.
Nikolas: You -- how did you hear about this?
Andy: He was with me when the call came in. We'll find out who's responsible.
Nikolas: I'll save you the time. I did this to myself.
Sonny: Hey. Did you have the ultrasound?
Carly: Yeah, everything was fine.
Courtney: But then Carly started feeling really sick.
Sonny: Where's the doctor now?
Jason: She's getting the test results.
Sonny: Okay, I'm going to find her.
Jason: Sonny, wait a minute. Dr. Meadows will be right back.
Sonny: My wife's in pain. She shouldn't have to wait.
Jason: I know, but the best thing you can do for Carly is just stay here.
Sonny: Somebody just dug up Lily's grave. Carly's in trouble. It's not a coincidence. Dr. Meadows? Hi.
Dr. Meadows: Hi.
Sonny: Is everything all right?
Dr. Meadows: The baby's in no danger, Mr. Corinthos.
Sonny: Well, is Carly all right?
Dr. Meadows: Well, she's dehydrated, and it can cause very severe pain.
Dr. Meadows: Mm-hmm. You need to keep up your fluids.
Sonny: Oh, she will.
Dr. Meadows: I'd like to admit Carly for observation.
Sonny: Okay, well, you know what, if it means Carly and the baby are safe, then I'll pay for her room, a nurse, whatever it takes.
Dr. Meadows: Well, I don't think complete bed rest is necessary, but you do realize you're in your last trimester, Carly. It's time for you to start slowing down.
Carly: I will do whatever you say.
Dr. Meadows: Mm-hmm.
Sonny: Thank you, Doctor.
Carly: I'm glad you're here.
Sonny: Yeah, I shouldn't leave you alone, you know. I'm not going to let anything happen to you.
Courtney: You know, I -- I got to see the ultrasound. God, Carly's baby is growing so fast, Jason. He's beautiful.
Jason: I'm glad Carly has you with her.
Courtney: Yeah. And she's nervous, but I guess that's natural. You know, Carly asked me if I would always be there to help with the baby.
Jason: We both will be.
Courtney: Well, that baby will have us in its --
Emily: Hey, Jason.
Courtney: Hey, Emily, you look great.
Emily: Thanks, thanks. I'm feeling a lot better. Hey, listen, do you mind if I steal my brother for a minute?
Courtney: Oh, no, of course. Yeah, he's all yours.
Jason: Okay, what's wrong?
Emily: Okay, Nikolas was attacked on the docks. He was hurt really badly, Jason.
Jason: Who? Who? The creditors?
Emily: They broke his ribs this time, but they could've done a whole lot worse. Jason, you have to protect him.
Jason: I'm sorry. I should've been paying more attention.
Emily: What I'm asking is huge.
Jason: I'm going to take care of this.
Emily: Listen, I don't want you to get hurt.
Jason: I'm not going to get hurt because I know who's threatening Nikolas now, and I know how to stop him.
Woman: Looks like you forgot lots of things.
Dillon: Uh -- well, you know, just figured I'd get it all while I'm here.
Woman: Oh, Garin, do you know how much the bighorn condoms are?
Dillon: If you could just not -- how about these? Why don't you give me these?
Woman: Oh, purple in extra large.
Dillon: I really tried to avoid this situation. It's a funny story, really, because seriously, how many times have we all seen this exact scenario on screen? Am I right? I mean, I'm the teenage boy trying to buy some condoms, and you're the pretty girl behind the counter set to make me nervous, and there's a kindly old woman behind me, and she's knitting. I mean, really, is John Hughes back there? John, are you back there? John Hughes, he's this -- ahem. Okay, I'm going to tell the truth. Here's the serious thing. I need protection because there's this girl, and she's really smart and really funny and really beautiful, and she's counting on me, and -- and I love her and I want to make her happy tonight, and I want to wake up with her in my arms tomorrow, so if you could just do me the favor of putting the condoms in the basket, and letting us all go on with our lives, and let me go home and be a man. That would be just great.
Georgie: I just don't want to disappoint Dillon.
Maxie: You'll be fine, okay? Besides, it has to be good for the girl. That is the most important.
[Knock on door]
Georgie: I'm totally not ready!
Waiter: Room service. I have the champagne you ordered.
Maxie: I thought it'd be a nice touch.
Georgie: It is, but we're not legal!
Maxie: Coming! Would you just trust me already?
Georgie: What do I do?
Maxie: Turn on the shower and follow my lead, okay?
Georgie: This is never going to --
Waiter: Ms. Scorpio?
Maxie: Yes, that's my mom. She's in the shower, but come on in.
Waiter: It says that the room is registered to a Mac Scorpio.
Maxie: Oh, yeah, people always make that mistake because my mom's name is Mackenzie, so she goes by Mac.
Waiter: I'll still need her signature.
Maxie: Look, it's my parents' anniversary tonight, and I'm actually staying with my grandmother. I'm just helping her set up. Mom, I'm going to sign for your food. How much should I tip him, like 10?
Georgie: You are a total felon.
Maxie: I didn't have a choice. Mac is going to freak when he finds out you're not a virgin.
Georgie: I don't care. Dillon's all I ever think about, Maxie. Okay, he came out of nowhere and he chose me, not because I was the prettiest or the most popular, but because he loves who I am. He respects me and he makes me laugh. He does this thing when he's happy or nervous, where, you know, he kind of rubs the back of his head and smiles sideways. It makes my stomach flip-flop. He's the one. I'm in love with Dillon. It's not just words. I feel it. I want Dillon to be my first.
Maxie: Come here.
Sonny: We'll hire a cook.
Carly: But you love to cook for me.
Sonny: No more stairs. We'll move you to -- everything to the top floor.
Carly: Oh, that's practical.
Sonny: And we can hire a nurse.
Carly: Sonny --
Carly: I didn't drink enough water, so my muscles started to ache. It's like a hangover. I will survive.
Sonny: Did you not -- oh, you will -- did you not hear the doctor? It's your last trimester, and you got to be even more careful.
Carly: Actually, I think her exact words were I needed to slow down a little bit, you know? Hey, how'd you get so dirty anyway?
Sonny: It's -- it's raining off and on, and everything's filthy and wet.
Carly: You know what? I need you to do something for me now, okay?
Sonny: What's that?
Carly: Go home.
Sonny: I'm staying with you.
Carly: Michael needs you more right now. You know, he thinks that ghosts come out when there's thunder and lightning.
Sonny: Hey, Doc, I just -- I don't want to leave her.
Dr. Meadows: Your wife is fine, Mr. Corinthos. All she needs is rest.
Sonny: Hello? Hello, is that you, buddy? Buddy? Are you afraid of the storm? Michael? Michael?
Emily: Lydia, how's Nikolas?
Lydia: He'd be a lot healthier if you'd leave him alone. Oh, take a look. Live and in color -- the affair you're not having.
Emily: Where'd you get --
Lydia: It doesn't matter. Stay away from my husband or you're going to get him killed.
Nikolas: All right, after Lydia has a child with me, we'll get the inheritance and then the creditors will be satisfied.
Jason: Why not cut the lender off at the source?
Nikolas: Because I don't know who they are.
Jason: I do. Lorenzo Alcazar is backing them.
Nikolas: Alc-- Alcazar?
Jason: Yeah, that's right. He's caused a lot of problems. You could be the way to get rid of him.
[Knock on door]
Georgie: Who is it?
Dillon: Who'd you expect?
Dillon: You look like -- like a movie star.
Lydia: You decided to stay. How are you feeling?
Nikolas: I feel like I've been lying to myself for months. That's about to change, Lydia. I've made a decision that's going to affect the both of us.
Lydia: We don't have to talk about this now.
Nikolas: I know I've hurt you. I know I've hurt you, and I'm sorry for that.
Lydia: Nikolas --
Nikolas: But I shouldn't have agreed to an arrangement I never wanted.
Lydia: We didn't have a choice.
Nikolas: Our marriage is a lie. It'll never make us happy.
Lydia: We aren't in it for the happiness.
Nikolas: Then we're both fools.
Lydia: What are you saying?
Nikolas: I'm getting an annulment. Our marriage ends today.
Jason: You need to stay away from Carly.
Lorenzo: I heard Carly had been admitted, so I stopped by to see her, but she's sleeping. Are she and the baby all right?
Jason: It's none of your business. And I know Sonny doesn't want you near her.
Lorenzo: What are you going to do? Tell Sonny I had the audacity to come visit Carly while she was in the hospital?
Jason: You know what? Keep pushing Sonny, Alcazar. We'll see what happens.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Emily: There are pictures of me and Nikolas.
Zander: I can't believe what I'm seeing.
Jason: I'm going to be watching you, waiting. You're going to wish you never heard of Port Charles.
