Ned: Jaywalking? You're about to set a bad example for your daughter.

Alexis: Isn't it a little late for a walk?

Ned: Well, she had trouble falling asleep, so I -- I took her out. She's out now and we're just heading back to the house.

Alexis: She's grown.

Ned: Alice is taking her to Ryce Park tomorrow between 10:00 and 11:00 if you want to stop by.

Alexis: I canít. I'm going to be out of town on business.

Woman: Excuse me. Oh, what a sweet baby. How old is she?

Ned: Um -- 10 months. Her birthday's in --

Woman: Oh, my God. You're him. You're Eddie Maine.

Nurse: Mrs. Corinthos, Dr. Meadows is almost ready for you, so I will take you to your exam room.

Carly: Oh, you know what? I'd like to wait. I don't want to go in without my husband.

Nurse: Sure. Just let me know when you're ready.

Carly: Thanks.

Faith: So I guess Sonny isn't so thrilled to have you back after all. Running late already, is he? How soon until he doesn't show up at all?

Carly: Go away, Faith. I'm not supposed to be stressed.

Faith: Well, then maybe you shouldn't have come home at all. I hear you were having a great relaxing time with your good friend Lorenzo. What did you and Alcazar do together anyway? Did the baby get in the way or was that some kind of turn-on?

Carly: Well, no wonder you are so desperate to hang on to Ric -- you're as sick as he is. But it's too bad that he thinks Elizabeth is the one that can redeem him.

Faith: No, actually, he's quite finished with his whiny little milkmaid. She filed for divorce and he didn't bat an eye.

Carly: Is that what Ric told you? And you believed him? You know, you're pathetic, Faith, and you know as well as I do that you're never going to hold on to Ric.

Courtney: God. Ow.

[Knock on door]

Courtney: Just a sec. Listen, I thought -- hey.

Sonny: Can I come in?

Courtney: Yeah, sure.

Courtney: So have you heard from Jason?

Sonny: Well, he just left my place a few minutes ago. I thought he was over here.

Courtney: He's probably out somewhere hiding from me. Well, don't jump in to reassure me or anything.

Sonny: You don't want to know what I think.

Courtney: Tell me anyway. I mean, tell me something because Jason wonít. I mean, he -- he just listens until he can't take it anymore and then he just walks out.

Sonny: He's hurting, Courtney. You're yelling, you're angry -- he thinks it's his fault.

Courtney: No.

Sonny: If you -- if you want Jason to fight back, you're going to be waiting the rest of your life because he's not going to yell, he's not going to punish you for whatever you think you did. He's just going to stand there and love you anyway until you push him so far away, there's not going to be any love left. It'll be gone.

Ric: Contemplating the mysteries of the universe? Nah, I didn't think so. So, you look like you're waiting for somebody.

Jason: Is this is a setup, Ric? I jump you, no one sees it --

Ric: No, no, no.

Jason: You got me arrested for assault again.

Ric: You give me far too much credit, Jason, far too much credit. I had no idea you were here in the park. Although, it does make sense. I mean, you got to have someplace to meet my wife, don't you?

Woman: They play your music on the campus station even though you haven't released an album lately. Do you mind me asking why, because you're so great and your music has such meaning.

Ned: Well, musicians are on the road a lot and, well, I have a family now, so --

Woman: Oh, sure. Your baby is so sweet. And that's your wife?

Ned: Uh --

Alexis: No. I'm Alexis Davis. I'm the baby's mother.

Woman: I'm Cynthia Harrison.

Ned: Do your friends call you Cindy?

Cynthia: No, just Cynthia.

Ned: Oh. Well, it's nice to meet you, Cynthia.

Cynthia: Are you planning any concerts anytime soon?

Ned: No. No, I'm practically retired from the music business.

Cynthia: So I guess that means you don't sign autographs anymore?

Ned: Yeah, whatever. Yeah, I can sign an autograph, sure.

Cynthia: Oh, thank you so much. This is total fate. I'm pretty sure -- I knew it. I've got your C.D. with me.

Ned: Yes, you do.

Cynthia: Could you sign it?

Cynthia: Thank you so much.

Ned: You're welcome.

Cynthia: This is really great. I know where I've seen you before. You're Eddieís angel, right?

Alexis: Thanks. It's great to be remembered for that.

Cynthia: Bye.

Ned: Do you know that girl?

Alexis: No, I donít. What did you ask me that?

Ned: Well, I told you that I've been getting all these email messages from some teenager.

Alexis: Why are you telling me about that?

Ned: Well, I'm not accusing you of anything except that I just think it's a real coincidence that she just happened to be holding one of my old CDs.

Alexis: I certainly didn't give them to her.

Ned: Okay. This is me dropping the subject. Have a nice trip.

Sonny: How long were you in the water after you jumped overboard?

Courtney: What does it matter, Sonny?

Sonny: Because when people come close to dying, it messes with their head.

Courtney: So what, is that your diagnosis -- temporary insanity due to a, what -- a near-death experience?

Sonny: I didn't say you were crazy. I just think you're punishing yourself. I know how it feels to hate the whole world, most of all, yourself. You try to destroy everything you care about. That way, there's nothing left for you to lose.

Courtney: Okay, I was there, Sonny, and remember, I heard you yelling --

Sonny: Right.

Courtney: And I heard you throwing things --

Sonny: Right.

Courtney: All right? And I am sorry that you were hurting so bad you took it out on everyone that you love, but that is something that you carry inside. That is some darkness that you carry, but that is not me. It has nothing to do with me.

Sonny: Hey, you want to scream at Jason, go ahead. He deserves it. He didn't save you sooner, he didn't let Alcazar shoot him instead of, you know, leaving you hostage. And for whatever reason, he should have known that, you know, you were carrying a child, right?

Courtney: God --

Sonny: Is that what you're trying to say?

Courtney: This is none of your business, Sonny! This is about my baby, mine and Jason's, okay? He never, ever should have told you any of this stuff.

Sonny: All Jason has done is stand in my living room and ask me to send him to work and every time I ask him why, he says you're hurting, and every time he tries to talk to you, it makes things worse. He is carrying it, Courtney, whatever -- whatever blame you want him to feel, the pain, regret for something he couldn't change.

Courtney: So, what? So I --

Sonny: It's something you didn't tell him.

Courtney: I'm wrong, okay? Is that what you want to hear? It's my fault, okay, and I can't make it better. I can't bring our baby back. I can't stop missing the life she would've had and I can't stop hurting and it makes me angry and I take it out on Jason. So there -- there you go, all right? I'm -- I'm just as bad as you in my own way, all right?

[Courtney sighs]

Sonny: Listen to me. You've never trashed your life. I have. It doesn't do what you want it to do. Doesn't make it numb. Pain is still there, and it's even bigger and louder and it echoes even more. You want to know why? Because you're surrounded by emptiness.

Courtney: Could you just please leave?

Sonny: All right. Tell Jason that I came by and I'll -- I'll be at the hospital.

Courtney: Wait, what -- what happened?

Sonny: Nothing. Nothing.

Courtney: Okay, then why are you going to the hospital?

Sonny: Carly's having an ultrasound.

Courtney: Tell her good luck.

Courtney: Damn it!

[Knock on door]

Courtney: What?

Delivery man: Pharmacy. Delivery for c. Matthews?

[Courtney sighs]

Courtney: Must be some mistake.

Delivery man: Your doctor called in a prescription for hydrocodone.

Courtney: Oh. Oh, okay. Yeah, I did talk to him. Thanks.

Delivery man: Yeah.

Ric: You know, now I can understand why you get so annoyed by Carly.

Jason: Don't, Ric -- don't talk about Carly.

Ric: She was right here in the park warning Elizabeth to stay away from you and insisting that you already belonged to Courtney, which begs the question, Jason -- how -- how'd you create so much doubt? I mean, what exactly did you do? How long have you been after my wife?

Jason: You don't have a wife. You're going to lose Elizabeth just like you lost everything else.

Lorenzo: I assume she took delivery?

Man: Signed for it and everything.

Lorenzo: I'm not surprised. Courtney's in a lot of pain.

Officer: You've got a visitor.

Stefan: Mr. Coleman assures me you're very efficient. Is that true?

Cynthia: I did exactly what you told me to.

Ric: Why am I not surprised that you're alone?

Courtney: Just stay away from me, you freak.

Ric: Oh, Courtney, I'm sitting on a park bench here. It hardly qualifies as hostile intent.

Courtney: You're still breathing. As far as I'm concerned, you're a threat.

Ric: You know what? I'm not the one you need to be focusing your paranoia on. I'm not the one who's lying to you here. Does Jason even bother to lie, huh? Or does he just disappear and not tell you where he's going or you -- you don't ask because you don't want to find out? He's with my wife.

Courtney: Yeah, well, if Jason is with Elizabeth, it's because they're both worried about Emily.

Ric: Yeah, well, I -- I suppose you're right. Yeah, what could be more romantic than sitting vigil at a dying girl's bedside?

Courtney: Emily is not dying. The doctor said that she's getting better.

Ric: Don't get wrapped up in the technicalities here unless you are planning on avoiding the truth here. Jason never got over Elizabeth. And the truth is if he seduces her, he winds up getting his revenge on me and he gets the girl that he's always wanted and that's a win-win scenario so obvious that even a mentally impaired thug like Jason can spot it.

Elizabeth: Jason.

Jason: Hey.

Elizabeth: Hey. Have you been to see Emily?

Jason: Uh, no, not since this morning. They said she's been sleeping on and off most of the day. She's getting a lot stronger.

Elizabeth: It's a relief to know she's getting better.

Jason: I just -- I just want to say thanks for, you know, sitting with me in the chapel.

Elizabeth: Sure. Courtney wasn't too happy with it, and neither was Carly. She summoned me in the park and warned me to stay away from you and that you belong to Courtney, etc., etc.

Jason: Yeah, she gets protective and overreacts sometimes.

Elizabeth: Yeah, well. It was nice in the chapel -- understanding what you were feeling, understanding why I was there. I have this habit of running away from things, kind of like the way I ran from Lucky to you, from you to Ric. You knew he was using me all along, didn't you?

Jason: He heard what Carly said to you in the park. I mean, he came up to me and asked me how long I'd been after you.

Elizabeth: Ric confronted you?

Jason: He kept calling you his wife. The guy still thinks you belong to him.

Carly: Sonny will be here.

Dr. Meadows: I have other appointments, Carly.

Carly: Yeah, well, maybe you can reschedule them. Or maybe you could just go see them first and then come back. I mean, I'll pay you extra. I'll pay you double. I will -- whatever you want.

Dr. Meadows: That's very generous, but it doesn't work like that.

Carly: Okay. Dr. Meadows, I just -- I really want to get this ultrasound done tonight and I want Sonny to be a part of it. He was away from me and the baby for so many months, and I just -- can you just please give me just a couple more minutes?

Dr. Meadows: We can print a picture for him and we can also make him a video.

Carly: A video?

Dr. Meadows: Mm-hmm.

Carly: You know what? I think a video would be great. Why don't you set all that up?

Dr. Meadows: Hmm. You wouldn't be stalling, now, would you?

Carly: No, he's going to be here. I promise.

[Knock on door]

Sonny: Hey.

Carly: See? I told you.

Sonny: Sorry I'm late, Dr. Meadows.

Dr. Meadows: Carly was determined to wait. She said that you were very anxious to see this baby.

Carly: Yes, and we just want to make sure that he's healthy. Is everything okay?

Sonny: Yeah, I just -- I just got held up at home -- nothing to do with business. How are you feeling?

Carly: I'm okay, a little nervous. I just -- I know everything's going to be okay. I know he's fine.

Dr. Meadows: Okay, we're going to start. You're going to watch the monitor. And in a minute, you should see a clear image. There it is. Oh. You were right, Carly. It's definitely a little boy.

Carly: Whoa. Hey. Hey, you. God, it's our little boy.

Carly: He looks like you, Sonny.

Sonny: He's right there.

Carly: God, I can't believe that picture is so clear.

Dr. Meadows: And with the new technology, you can actually see your child's face.

Carly: He has dimples.

[Dr. Meadows giggles]

Dr. Meadows: I'm not sure that's right, but he is definitely healthy and he has a strong heartbeat. And he shows good development.

Carly: Well, he has been through so much. He's a tough little one. And I told you that you would be all right.

Dr. Meadows: I'm late for my next appointment. I'll leave you two to look at your pictures, and I'll be back to complete the exam.

Carly: Thanks. Wow. I can't believe that we can see his face. He's going to be a heartbreaker, just like his daddy.

Sonny: You're a good mother. You kept him safe. You always knew it was going to be a little boy, right?

Carly: Well, yeah. And maybe, now you will learn to trust and respect my instincts.

Sonny: I respect you.

Carly: Yeah, well, I'm sure you do now, now that I'm going to give birth to your son. But you're awfully arbitrary, you know. It's a good thing you found me, because I don't know what other woman would put up with you.

Sonny: You choose a person, you choose a life.

Carly: What do you mean, Sonny?

Sonny: Nothing, forget about it.

Carly: Hey, what's wrong?

Sonny: Hmm?

Carly: What's wrong?

Courtney: Elizabeth finally saw who you are and ran screaming in the opposite direction --

Ric: Oh, right, straight into Jason's arms, because he was here an hour ago, sitting on this very bench, waiting for my wife.

Courtney: No, he did not say that. That is just -- that's just a figment of your sick and twisted imagination.

Ric: All right, he pointed out to me that Elizabeth was no longer my wife, which is not legally true anyway, not that Jason's ever concerned himself with the law. You know what? In his mind, she's free! Maybe he thinks that he is, too. Have you done something to --

Courtney: No, Jason loves me, Ric!

Ric: Well, Carly seems to disagree, because she was here. She warned Elizabeth to stay away from Jason.

Courtney: What do you want from me, huh? Do you want sympathy? You want a co-conspirator? You think if I do everything I can to get Jason to come --

Ric: Are you admitting that you had problems, huh?

Courtney: Elizabeth doesn't love you anymore. Can you blame her? You're pathetic. You're manipulative. And the worst part is, is you keep getting away with it, after everything you've done, and you still haven't gone to jail?

Ric: Come on.

Courtney: Well, you know what? You know what, Ric? At least you wound up alone.

Ric: Hmm. Well, take a good look at yourself, sweetheart. Because you're alone, too.

Courtney: God.

Elizabeth: When Carly first disappeared, I thought you wanted Ric to be the kidnapper so that you would appear better than him.

Jason: Yeah, well, it was nothing that complicated. Michael saw Ric take Carly. That was it.

Elizabeth: Yeah, well, I know that now. I was just putting Ric's motivations on you. You see, Ric envies you. He's the one who wanted to be better and have some victory to hold over Sonny's head and make you look like the stupid thug who can't see past his own grudge. When actually, that's -- that's exactly who Ric is. He's a fool who can't see past his own vendetta. Sometimes I wonder if he started dating me just to spite you.

Jason: Does it matter?

Elizabeth: Well, I married the guy. I would like to believe he loved me.

Jason: Hey, look, I don't know -- I don't know why he chose you or what he thought he wanted, but if you've been through anything because of me, I just -- I just want to say I'm sorry.

Elizabeth: Well, thank you, but none of this is your fault. I made my own decisions and choices and that includes all the times you tried to warn me and I just didn't listen.

Jason: Just be careful. Because Ric does not want to let you go. Why doesn't matter. Just remember that he's dangerous.

Elizabeth: Yeah, that part I have down.

Jason: Take care.

Elizabeth: Jason -- whatever's going on with Courtney, I hope you guys work it out.

Jason: Thanks.

Ric: Liar, liar.

Stefan: You understand the timing is critical.

Cynthia: It seems kind of rushed. If you want to convince people that --

Stefan: Shh, shh, shh, shh. You just follow my orders as I give them.

Cynthia: It's your deal. I'll play it however you want.

Stefan: See that you do.

Alexis: I'm here to see Stefan.

Officer: He's popular today.

Alexis: Thank you. I understand you've had a lot of visitors.

Stefan: Oh, well, Mrs. Lansbury came by to see me. And -- well, Nikolas has stayed away, which is hurtful. But you're my attorney, as well as my sister. I expected to hear from you before now.

Alexis: Constructing the defense takes time, and I'm going to have to leave town to check out a few --

Stefan: No. Change your plans. If you abandon me now, you're throwing away your last chance to reclaim your daughter.

Carly: You seem like you're on overload.

Sonny: It's just -- it's a lot to take in.

Carly: You're right. You know, we are running out of time. We haven't even signed up for birthing classes. Do you want to take them?

Sonny: I said it's up to you.

Carly: Okay, I'll tell you what I know. I know I want an epidural, and I want as many drugs as they will give me, because that labor pain in South America was enough to last me a lifetime.

Sonny: You must have been afraid.

Carly: You know, it's funny. The only labor I've ever experienced stopped halfway through. You know, since I was unconscious when Michael was born, I only remember going to the phone and then waking up with Jason sitting beside me. Hey, do you think you'd feel better if we took some birthing classes?

Sonny: Well, I mean, it's not -- it's not about me.

Carly: Well, yeah, it is. You're the father. Half of this is your fault.

Sonny: Yeah, I know. Whatever you want to do.

Carly: I want to make sure that you are in that delivery room with me so we can watch our baby being born together.

Elizabeth: I am not doing this.

Ric: Whoa, excuse me, try to be specific, Elizabeth. What exactly are you not going to do, huh? You're not going to talk to your husband? You're not going to answer my questions?

Elizabeth: I don't have a husband.

Ric: Or you're not going to get involved with Jason, huh? Not meet with him every chance you can? Not wait for the moment to where you can wrap your arms around him and Courtney's completely out of the picture? By the way, where do I fit in this whole scenario, huh? Do I even rate a memory? Or am I just a nightmare that you woke up from? A fool who couldn't see past his own vendetta, right?

Elizabeth: What, you're spying on me now?

Ric: You and Jason aren't exactly discreet. I mean, you are meeting here at the pier.

Elizabeth: I was having a private conversation with a friend.

Ric: A friend? I see. Now he's your friend. When did that happen, huh?

Elizabeth: Long before I met you. And Jason and I will continue being friends years and years after you're gone.

Ric: After I'm gone. Okay, where am I going, Elizabeth? Am I going into the lake? You know, with a little weight wrapped around my ankle, and maybe a bullet in my head, courtesy of your once and future hero, is that it?

Elizabeth: No, no, no, no, no, you're not going to die, Ric. You're going to run, because that's what you do.

Ric: Okay --

Elizabeth: You're a liar --

Ric: Stop it. Stop this.

Elizabeth: And a coward. You're always saying how Jason is mindless and unfeeling, but people trust him, don't they? Sonny trusts him. I trust him.

Ric: Okay, okay -- what is this now? All right, I hurt you, so you're going to hurt me? Is that the whole thing, huh? Look, maybe that's fair. Maybe you should be able to do this. Maybe I deserve it, but don't do it this way, not with him!

Elizabeth: You know what? Don't tell me how to live my life. Okay, we are getting divorced --

Ric: The hell with the damn divorce! All right? You -- you were the only woman who has ever mattered at all to me. You're the only woman I have ever loved. Elizabeth, I supported you, I believed in you. I would have done anything -- yes, bad or good. And I don't even merit a second chance now, is that it?

Elizabeth: No, I don't care what you did for me, Ric, whether it was real, whether it was fake. It doesn't matter anymore because our marriage is over. I am not your wife. I don't even want to know you anymore.

Ric: No, that's not -- that's not the way this is going to end. You listen to me. You listen to me. You don't walk away from me like I'm nothing at all.

Elizabeth: That's exactly what you are -- nothing.

Courtney: Carly, it's Courtney. I guess you're still at the hospital. Sonny told me that you're going to have the ultrasound today, so I guess you probably know by now if the baby's a boy or not. Uh -- listen, I -- I called your cell phone because I just -- I wanted to talk to you about Jason, and I -- I didn't want Sonny to know. Anyway, I'm rambling.

[Courtney sighs]

Courtney: You don't have to call me back tonight. I'm -- sure you and Sonny are probably celebrating. Congratulations on seeing the baby.

Courtney: Damn it.

Courtney: Give me those.

Lorenzo: You seem upset.

Courtney: Yeah. Maybe because I'm thinking about the baby I lost because of you.

Alexis: The sooner I prove that Darius is dead, the sooner you get out of here.

Stefan: I wonder if that's really your goal.

Alexis: You're the one who asked me to represent you. You either trust me or go find somebody else.

Stefan: I trust that you want your daughter back.

Alexis: All the blackmail in the world isn't going to convince me that you're innocent.

Stefan: I don't want to coerce you, Alexis. I want to be sure of you.

Alexis: If I can establish that Darius died, as reported, then I can prove that Lucky and/or Lydia was behind the blackmail threat, which proves entrapment. The state's case falls apart, and you're exonerated.

Stefan: You'd better be right.

Cynthia: Surprise.

Courtney: Give me those.

Lorenzo: You sure you're all right?

Courtney: You mean, am I strong enough to fight you off if you try to grab me? Yeah, absolutely.

Lorenzo: My kidnapping days are over.

Courtney: No, I'm just not the hostage that you want.

Lorenzo: Well, that's true.

Courtney: Carly's thrilled to be back with Sonny, by the way. In fact, they're having an ultrasound tonight to make sure the baby's a boy.

Lorenzo: I have a soft spot for that child. I saved his life. I wish I could have saved your child's life.

[Courtney scoffs]

Courtney: You lying bastard. You never did anything to save me or my baby. You could have let me go.

Lorenzo: I tried to negotiate your release.

Courtney: You -- yeah, you wanted to trade me for Carly.

Lorenzo: No one would agree to the deal. You're worth substantially less than your sister-in-law, and even so, I treated you well.

Courtney: Your crew abandoned ship and left me to die.

Lorenzo: You were safe on my yacht. You would still be pregnant if you hadn't ignored my crewman's orders and jumped into the water. I'm not going to apologize for holding you as collateral. That's a function of my business. You chose to risk your child's life, and you lost it. You brought this pain on yourself.

Courtney: God, I hate you.

Lorenzo: You know, Morgan wanted to kill me because he thought I raped you. How many other lies have you told him? Does he even know there was a child?

Courtney: No, Jason knows that there was a baby, and he knows that we lost it because of you.

Lorenzo: Oh. You mean, you can't tell him it's your fault his child won't be born?

Courtney: Don't you ever -- don't ever talk about my baby.

Carly: Oh, I cannot wait to hold him the minute he is born. And then if you're really nice to me, I will share him with you.

[Carly chuckles]

Sonny: Whatever you say.

Carly: But since he's inside of me now, then I guess you could hold on to the photograph. You can have it.

Sonny: No, you get it, you take it. It's --

Carly: No, no, no, no -- I want you -- we can show it to Michael later tonight.

Sonny: Well, maybe tomorrow, because, you know, he may be asleep when we get home. Where's that doctor at?

Carly: Yeah, well, you know what, sweetie? You don't have to stay. I mean, she's just going to come on in and ask me a few more questions and stuff.

Sonny: Okay, I'm going to go ahead and wait in the lounge.

Carly: Okay. Hey, while you're out there, would you mind grabbing a couple forms on the classes? Just in case we decide to take them.

Sonny: Yeah. Yeah.

Carly: Hey.

Sonny: What?

Carly: Don't be nervous. Everything's going to be fine.

Sonny: I love you, you know that, right?

Carly: I love you.

Sonny: All right.

[Door closes]

Carly: And I love you.

[Courtney sighs]

[Car starts]

Jason: Got your message.

Sonny: Hey.

Jason: What's up? Everything okay?

Sonny: Fine, fine. You speak to Morales?

Jason: Yeah. The shipment's on schedule. Should land next Tuesday.

Sonny: All right, make sure security's tight.

Jason: It will be.

Sonny: Courtney tell you where I was at?

Jason: No, no, I haven't seen Courtney. I picked up the message on voicemail.

Sonny: Carly had an ultrasound. They print up a picture. Ever see one?

Sonny: I've seen them before, you know, a couple times. It's a boy.

Jason: It's a -- it's a boy?

Sonny: Yeah, Carly was right.

Jason: I bet she's happy about that.

Sonny: She's smiling, you know. Just lit up from the inside, you know. You can almost see the baby's face. I never thought that --

Jason: Is everything okay --

Sonny: Fine, fine.

Jason: With the baby?

Sonny: The baby's perfectly healthy.

Jason: That's good.

Sonny: Carly -- why am I telling you this? You just lost -- you know, you and Courtney just lost a baby. This is -- so everything's confirmed with Morales, right?

Jason: Yeah, yeah.

Sonny: Okay.

Jason: Yeah, everything's complete.

Sonny: All right.

Jason: Here. Hey, is Carly still, you know, thinking about maybe naming the baby Morgan or --

Sonny: You know what? It doesn't really matter what we name him, because -- it doesn't matter if the baby's, you know, healthy, he's got a strong heartbeat, because something's going to happen. I just got a feeling. I know it doesn't make any sense, but it all started when I saw him on the monitor. It would destroy Carly if she lost this baby. But he's my son. And I just can't stop thinking he's never going to be born.

[Music plays]

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Cynthia: Here I am.

Ned: No, no, stop, stop -- stop!

Emily: What Zander doesn't know won't hurt him, right?

Jason: Just let me try to help you, okay?

Faith: Ric is finally free.

Scott: That's some revenge on Ric -- for what he did to Carly.
