Previously on "General Hospital" --
Zander: You enjoy playing her savior?
Nikolas: Are you asking me to help Emily or are you telling me to stay away from her?
Elizabeth: I never want to see you again.
Ric: Come on, Jason, you got to let me go!
Jason: Courtney, what are you doing?
Courtney: I'm not following you.
Lorenzo: I'm expecting a call to confirm that the shipment went through. As long as I get it, Carly will be fine.
Bobbie: Hey. Audrey just told me you were being released.
Elizabeth: Yeah, the doctors say my test results look good, so -- any word on Carly?
Bobbie: No, not yet. You know about Ric, though?
Elizabeth: Yeah. Yeah, I heard he disappeared from the hospital and a warrant's been issued for his arrest.
Bobbie: Yeah, so you better be careful.
Bobbie: Where are you staying tonight?
Elizabeth: Not my house. Guess I'll swing by and pick up some things and go back to my studio until I figure out what Iíve done to my life. I don't know, there were so many signs. I just didn't -- I didn't see them.
Bobbie: The important thing is you stay away from him. He may try to get to you and lie to you again, and if he's out there running he's going to need some help.
Elizabeth: He's not going to get it from me.
Bobbie: Oh. I got to go.
Bobbie: If you need anything, call me.
Elizabeth: I will. Thanks.
Elizabeth: Hi, Em.
Emily: Hi. I'm here to visit you. My parents said that you weren't going to be released until tomorrow.
Elizabeth: Oh, yeah, well, I couldn't stand that hospital room for one more second.
Emily: Oh, I don't blame you. Do you need a -- do you need a ride someplace or --
Elizabeth: Gram left me her car. I just have to figure out where to go.
Emily: Ok. Well, at least this way you won't have to worry about running into Ric.
Elizabeth: Yeah. Yeah, he's gone. For all I know, I'm already a widow.
Courtney: You know I trust you.
Jason: Do you?
Courtney: Well, are you denying that you're so angry at Ric you want to hurt him, possibly kill him?
Jason: That's not the point.
Courtney: No, it is to me! Ok, I accept that violence is a part of your job, but Ric is different. You have hated Ric all along. You hate him even more now, which means you could make a mistake. And that is the problem with your job, Jason. You make a mistake and it either puts you in jail or it ends your life. And I get left behind, loving you and missing you. I mean, we said we wanted a life together. Shouldn't I be able to fight for it? Stop you from --
Jason: What if it's too late? Huh? What if I already made the mistake? Here. Take it. Take it! Go ahead, press that button! Watch that wall slide back. Maybe Ricís lying there with six bullets in his chest like he deserves! Come on, let's go. See for yourself. Press it! Then you could tell me what we should do next.
Carly: Help me.
Man: What's wrong?
Carly: Oh -- you have to do something. The baby's coming.
Man: Wait, Mr. Alcazar said it would be months here.
Carly: The baby's coming now, ok? Just -- you have to get me to the hospital. Please. Ah! He bought it. We're getting out of here.
Lorenzo: I should've received the call by now. If anything happens to my merchandise or if you try to double-cross me --
Sonny: I personally gave instructions to let the shipment through. If there's a problem, it's not --
Lorenzo: If there's a problem, your wife pays for it.
Lorenzo: That's Pier 52. That fireworks show just cost you your wife.
Georgie: Dillon? Dillon, are you here? Dillon! Hey, are you ok? What -- what happened?
Dillon: Yeah, no, I'm ok. I think I -- I think I hit my head. What's on fire?
Georgie: A boat. It was coming into the harbor and it -- it just blew up. I was --
Georgie: I was about to call 911 and -- is that -- is that the boat you were supposed to call about?
Dillon: I don't know. I don't know. I was going to make my call and then somebody came up behind me and --
Georgie: Ok. Come on.
Dillon: They didn't -- they didn't rob me or anything. They just -- I guess they didn't want me to make that call.
Georgie: You know what, we really, really, really need to get out of here.
Dillon: Ok. All right.
Georgie: Come on.
Dillon: Let's go.
Georgie: Let's go.
Lorenzo: Then find out.
Lorenzo: Shipment made it into the harbor, but the boat blew up as it was approaching the pier.
Sonny: Maybe your organization's not as secure as you think.
Lorenzo: Maybe you're not as attached to your wife and child as you claim to be since you just forfeited them by destroying my shipment.
Sonny: I don't know what happened out there.
Lorenzo: You know, denials are a waste of time, Sonny. You chose to escalate this. Now you pay the price.
Sonny: Ok, wait, wait, wait, wait! I agreed to move your product. I'm not responsible if you're incapable of landing it.
Jason: You see? He isn't dead yet. Maybe I wanted him to suffer first, to feel trapped like he trapped Carly. Or maybe I wanted to keep him alive in case he had information that could help me get Carly back. But you know what, it doesn't matter because either way I'm not thinking clearly, right?
Courtney: Ok, I am not trying to stop you from doing your job, Jason!
Ric: I think it would be a mistake to kill me at this point, all right? I supervised -- I supervised the construction of the compound that Alcazar is probably holding Carly, so I have information that could bring her home. No, Courtney, you got to call Sonny. You got to tell him that we're here! I have information that could save Carly!
Jason: Well, you heard Ric. Do you want to go to Sonny? Tell him Ric has information that can save Carly and you can tell him that you don't trust me to do my job?
Courtney: No, I do trust you!
Elizabeth: I knew who he was before. I knew who he was after he -- after he lied to Carly, after he kidnapped Courtney. But he promised me, he promised me he was -- he was finishing doing this whole revenge thing against Sonny. He promised he would never lie to me again.
Emily: Elizabeth, the guy's a pathological liar. He doesn't know how not to lie.
Elizabeth: But I believed him. So what does that say about me?
Emily: You did what you were supposed to do. Ok? You followed your heart. Don't blame yourself because Ric betrayed your trust. He's the one who's wrong here, not you.
Dillon: I don't need an x-ray, ok? I'm fine.
Georgie: What if your skull is cracked?
Dillon: It's a bump on the head.
Bobbie: Well, keep the ice on it because at the very least you've got a contusion. So who's officially your guardian these days?
Dillon: I don't have one. Look, I don't -- I don't need an x-ray or anything that would require a legal guardian to come in and sign papers or give permission or anything. I'm really fine. Can we go? I'm going to --
Georgie: Yeah. Yeah?
Bobbie: Dillon needs to stay awake for the next few hours, and if he should experience any nausea or dizziness or severe headache, bring him back in.
Georgie: I will. Thank you, Bobbie.
Dillon: Look, I couldn't make the call, ok? I was attacked.
Man: Did you get a look at who did it?
Dillon: No. What? I didn't. No -- no, no, no. No, I don't -- you keep that. I don't want his money anymore, ok? Tell him Iím done.
Man: Not until Mr. Alcazar says you are.
Georgie: This is getting a little out of hand. I mean, a joy ride on Kyleís bike was one thing, but boats are blowing up, you almost got your skull cracked open? I mean, maybe we should go to Jason and you should tell him that Alcazar's, like, recruiting you.
Dillon: No, no, no. I hardly even know Jason, ok? I'm not going to him. I'm going to do this on my own.
Emily: Somewhere along the line, my feelings for Nikolas have changed. It's more than just gratitude. I mean, I still love Zander, but I can't get Nikolas out of my mind.
Nikolas: Looks like you're feeling better.
Elizabeth: Yeah, I guess. I'm on my way home.
Nikolas: Well, if you ever need anything, you know, just call me.
Elizabeth: Besides therapy? I'm fine, thanks.
Zander: I thought I would come by and take you home, surprise you. I guess your meeting ended a little bit early?
Nikolas: How's -- how's everything going?
Emily: Oh, it's good, good. The group's wonderful.
Nikolas: Good. I'm glad it's helping.
Nikolas: So, listen, I got this meeting to go to, so --
Emily: Ok, yeah. We don't -- we don't want to hold you up.
Emily: Bye. Ok. Well, I need to eat something. Elizabeth, you want to come with us?
Elizabeth: No, thanks, guys. I'm not in the mood.
Zander: All right.
Emily: All right.
Zander: Elizabeth? What's -- I thought you were going to the first floor.
Elizabeth: Uh, yeah. I need to ask Nikolas something first, so you guys go ahead.
Elizabeth: I'll call you later.
Emily: All right. Bye.
Nikolas: Ask me what?
Elizabeth: You're in love with Emily, aren't you?
Courtney: Why are you so mad at me for trying to help you?
Jason: Because I told you at the start you couldn't and you agreed. You promised to stay out of my work.
Courtney: Ok, but this is different.
Jason: Why is this different? Because I'm angry? Because I hate Ric and I think he deserves to die? I thought that from day one! If I didn't trust myself to deal with Ric, I would ask Sonny to send someone else. I wouldn't risk Carly and the baby's life for a chance at revenge! I thought you knew that about me!
Courtney: What do you want me to do?
Jason: What, I get a choice now?
Courtney: Just tell me.
Jason: I'm not in charge of your life.
Jason: If we need your information, somebody will come back to get you. And if not, I'll dump your body someplace nice.
Sonny: You know what? We're both businessmen here, you know. It wouldn't be in our -- our interest to break off negotiations. Obviously, there's somebody out there who wants to cause trouble between us, who doesn't like your expansion plan. But you know what? I held up my end of the deal. I want to talk to my wife.
Lorenzo: The loss was minimal. Boat was filled with baking soda. Somehow I knew the shipment wouldn't go through, so I decided to use it to work out any flaws in the system and to see if you're the man of honor you claim to be.
Sonny: Well, now you know. It's time for you to reciprocate. I want to see my wife, make sure she's ok.
Lorenzo: I want my product landed first. You had your one chance to claim bad luck, to blame complications on someone else.
Man: There's a problem with the woman.
Lorenzo: What's wrong with her?
Man: Um --
Sonny: Is it Carly?
Man: Something with the baby. You know, I think she might be going into labor.
Lorenzo: The baby's not due until November.
Sonny: Something wrong with the baby?
Man: Should we bring the boat in?
Sonny: What's happening to my wife?
Nikolas: Yeah, you know, I've -- I've always loved Emily. I was her first crush, remember? We -- you remember. I'm her friend, we've been through a lot, and she's in for the fight of her life.
Elizabeth: Yeah, well, I'm not talking about friendship or concern or anything else you want to call it. You look at Emily like she's your entire --
Nikolas: What? What is this -- where is this coming from, Liz? I mean, Emilyís with Zander. I would never do anything to mess that up.
Elizabeth: Who are you trying to convince? Me or you?
Dillon: What the hell are you doing?
Jason: I was going to ask you the same question.
Dillon: Ok. So what is your problem?
Jason: You are, if you keep working for Alcazar.
Dillon: Look, he paid me to deliver a letter, all right? I did it.
Jason: It was a ransom note. And I told you that night that Alcazar is trouble that you don't need, so why are you going near him still?
Dillon: What, you think this is my choice? You think I did this on my own? Some no-neck comes up to me, gives me $100 and his cell phone, tells me I have to go to Pier 52 and wait for some sort of signal at which point I have to make a phone call, only I don't make that phone call because somebody knocks me out. All right, I come to, there's fire, there's flames. I don't know what's going on. I don't know who did it or why, but I'll tell you one thing -- it was probably not Alcazar.
Jason: You still don't get it, do you? Alcazar saw us talking. He's using you. He's pulling you into something that's going to get you killed.
Carly: I need help! Why are we still out in the middle of nowhere? I need to get to a hospital!
Doctor: We won't be taking you to a hospital. I'm Dr. Andrew Wasser, OB-Gyn. Mr. Alcazar has me on call. He's bringing the hospital to you.
Sonny: Is Carly in labor? Is something wrong with the baby?
Lorenzo: Until you cooperate --
Sonny: No, you ain't -- no! You ain't getting jack! Unless I see my wife. Now, either you arrange for me to be in the same room with my wife, or I will order you killed and open up negotiations with your lieutenant! I'm tired of this now! It's in your best interest to prove to me that my wife's ok.
Lorenzo: No backup, no bodyguard. You put your life in my hands.
Sonny: It's a deal.
Lorenzo: Yeah. You're a man of your word, so, yeah, I will let you see Carly. You meet me outside Pier 52 at midnight. But if anyone's with you, I see any sign that anybody's following you, the deal is off.
Sonny: I will be there alone.
Lorenzo: Good. Get the hell away from me.
Emily: Mmm. Oh, no. Don't turn the lights on.
Emily: Ah. I love the air at night this time of year.
Zander: Yeah, I love the sound of the crickets and the frogs.
Emily: Yeah. Crickets and frogs always remind me of camping out.
Zander: Good memories?
Emily: Oh, really good ones.
Zander: Any camping trip in particular?
Emily: Um, this spur-of-the-moment road trip I took with this guy I met at a party.
Zander: Oh, yeah? Who was this guy?
Emily: Oh, he's handsome and dangerous.
Zander: How dangerous?
Emily: Oh, well, he took me hostage -- not that he ever meant to hurt me. He just needed to get away, so we did.
Zander: Heading for a bridge on the Canadian border.
Emily: Yes, sleeping in barns and deserted cabins.
Zander: Taking a stolen car that kept breaking down.
Emily: Yeah. It worked really well the rest of the time.
Zander: Especially when you were driving.
Emily: Yeah, I think I did all right.
Zander: You were incredible. Come on.
Emily: Oh -- no, no, no. See, I don't want you to read to me.
Zander: I thought it helped you go to sleep.
Emily: Yeah. I don't want to sleep, either. Zander, why don't you touch me? Why don't you kiss me? Is it because I'm sick?
Zander: No, no.
Emily: Look, I need you to be honest. Is it because I've got this disease inside of me? Does that make you want me less?
Zander: Emily, I wake up every morning thinking about you. I lie awake every night missing you, wishing we could be together. I still get butterflies every time you walk into a room. Everybody else fades away. All I see is you. But with everything that's been going on, I just -- I thought you needed some space.
Emily: No. I don't want space. I want you.
Zander: That's all you needed to say.
Lydia: It's dangerous to ride at night.
Nikolas: I'll consider myself duly warned.
Lydia: Hoping to work off some of the misery and frustration? That can only mean you bumped into Emily. Could you explain your fascination with that drooping flower?
Nikolas: Why should I explain anything to you?
Lydia: I don't know -- because we're engaged? Because we're supposed to be figuring out how to spend the rest of our lives together? This brooding prince routine is going to make for a very long, dry marriage. You want me to be faithful, but you refuse to touch me yourself. What kind of life is that? Oh, I know -- a miserable one, the kind you're used to.
Nikolas: You're actually right for once. I'm used to living in a -- in a black hole surrounded by lies and hidden agendas, so marrying you won't be an adjustment at all. It'll just be more of the same.
Lydia: Oh -- all that pent-up anger. It'd be a shame to waste it.
Jason: Just go back to the Quartermaines for now. They make me crazy, but they're not going to get you killed. Messing with Alcazar will.
Dillon: I just delivered the letter, ok? I don't know why he wanted me to --
Jason: Because Alcazar knew I would eventually find out. And now I'm going to have to decide if you're a threat.
Dillon: What does that mean?
Jason: That means that people who work for Alcazar are obstacles that need to be removed, and now you know what, it turns out that one of the people is related to me. Now, that's a problem, Dillon. That's one I don't want to have to solve.
Dillon: Ok, all right --
Jason: Do you get it?
Dillon: All right, I get that. So Alcazar is using me to complicate your life. That's fine and all, but don't you think I could use it against him? I mean, you know, I start working for him, I get in deeper. I get you information that you need. Right?
Jason: Oh, you want to -- you want to spy now? Is that -- spy on Alcazar?
Dillon: Yeah, hey, the guy came to me. All right? He's not going to suspect anything, ok? I mean, I could do this so easily. I've seen it in a hundred movies. You just --
Jason: In a hundred mo-- in the movies? What do you think this is? I'm trying to save your life! You -- you know, I don't even know why. Maybe because Lilaís my grandmother, too, and I know what it feels like to be trapped in that house with those people. I'm telling you, Alcazar is not the solution. Neither am I.
Carly: Something's wrong. Please, I really need to go to the hospital.
Dr. Wasser: You're right, there is something wrong, but there's no time to get you to a hospital.
Carly: Well -- well, what's that for?
Dr. Wasser: I'm going to induce.
Dr. Wasser: I need you over here.
Carly: No, no, no --
Dr. Wasser: Don't worry. I'm going to give you a sedative first.
Carly: No, no, no, no. Get away from me!
Dr. Wasser: Gotcha. You and the baby are both perfectly fit, and you are most definitely not in labor. Mr. Alcazar anticipated you might fake some sort of crisis, so he took precaution by having me onboard.
Carly: You know, you're going to lose your license for this.
Dr. Wasser: Not at all. Consider me your personal physician. I'm on call 24/7. I'll be supervising your diet, and my specialty is trauma obstetrics. I'm also good at charades -- better than you. So why don't you make peace with the situation and enjoy the ride.
Carly: I'm not going to make peace with the situation! Go to hell!
Man: Everything went off without a hitch. We hit the charge before the boat got to the pier and it blew with everything on it.
Sonny: All right. Hi.
Courtney: Hey. So have you heard any news?
Sonny: Can you do me a favor? Can you stay with Michael? I know Leticiaís upstairs, but he has nightmares and it's -- I'd feel a lot better if he was with you. When Jason gets back, can you tell him that I went to see Carly?
Courtney: How did you arrange that?
Sonny: It's not -- it's a long story, but I made a deal with Alcazar and he's taking me to visit her.
Courtney: Sonny, come on. What if it's a trap?
Sonny: Just take -- just do what I say, will you? Ok? I'll keep in touch.
Ric: You came back.
Ric: Elizabeth? No, no, no, donít. No, honey, don't do that. Don't -- Elizabeth, don't -- don't do this. Elizabeth! Elizabeth! Elizabeth, they locked me in here! Elizabeth!
Ric: I'm sorry. I'm sorry! I'm sorry for what I did to Carly! Please. Please. Please, I love you. All I want is a chance.
Ric: Oh, thank God!
Elizabeth: Ric, who did this to you?
Ric: Jason -- who else? He threw me in here and I have no idea whether he -- he planned on letting me go. But I looked up, I saw you on the monitor, and I was hoping that you -- you'd sense my presence in here and you'd open up the door and you'd let me out. And my prayers were answered.
Zander: Anything I should know?
Emily: Be patient with me. I'm -- Iím a little nervous.
Zander: Ok. Anything else?
Emily: No. Nothing else.
Zander: I love you.
Emily: Show me.
Nikolas: You think if we -- if we sleep together, there will be some storybook ending to all this? You know, I'll be there to comfort you, you'll be there to comfort me, happily ever after -- blah, blah, blah -- like we were meant for each other, loved each other all along?
Lydia: You never know if you don't try.
Ric: Look, it was worth Jason throwing me in here if I can make you understand that I did let Carly go. Look, she -- she called Sonny before Alcazar grabbed her. Elizabeth, I wanted -- I wanted to make this nightmare that I had started end. I wanted a chance to make things right, for Sonny to go back to Carly and to put my life back together with you. I have a chance to do that now. I have a chance to -- to make everything that I did turn out right. And I believe that's why you sensed that I was in here and you opened up the door and you let me out.
Elizabeth: Believe this -- you could rot in here for all I care.
Ric: Elizabeth, wait. No. Elizabeth, please. Come on, you got to give me a chance to prove that what I'm saying is true. I know Iíve lied bef-- Elizabeth, please!
Ric: I love you.
Jason: Mac said Sonny left.
Courtney: He went to see Carly. Alcazar arranged a visit.
Jason: Where? Where's the meeting?
Courtney: Sonny didn't say and I didn't ask. I mean, those are the rules, right?
Courtney: So what are our rules? Yours and mine? Because I've been sitting here just trying to understand what happened, I mean, what land mine I exploded, because I have never seen you so angry before, Jason. I mean, I've never seen you be so mean.
Jason: Do you understand what I do? I mean, really? Then you have to stay out of my work and let me do my job alone.
Jason: Ok, then there's nothing more to say.
Courtney: No, there is if we love each other. God, Jason, it's not just about the work. It's about the way we feel. I mean, I did something to hurt you. I mean, I doubted your judgment about one thing -- Ric -- and you acted like -- well, like I didn't have any faith in you at all, like I said you were stupid.
Jason: No, not stupid. Damaged.
Courtney: That is not what I meant.
Jason: Yeah, then why else would you question Ric before I do? What, you don't believe that I can do it myself? You decided that there's something wrong with me now and something wrong with the way I think?
Jason: Huh? I kept saying that Ric took Carly and you didn't believe me. You thought I was making it up.
Courtney: No, I --
Jason: You said I wanted to see what I wanted to see because I hate Ric.
Courtney: No, ok, I shouldn't have doubted you.
Jason: Courtney, you -- you get to doubt me. You get to do anything you want to do. I meant what I said. You don't -- you're not in charge of my life and I'm not in charge of your life. Loving someone doesn't give you the right to tell them what to do. Because I made that mistake once. You know, I said I loved someone and -- and she decided that it gave her permission to decide my life, to ask Sonny to fire me, to take Michael away from me. It was the worst thing that ever happened to me, finding out that love meant choosing for me instead of with me.
Courtney: But that's not the way that I love you.
Jason: Ok, I'm just saying that's -- that's how it felt today.
Courtney: Ok, I was scared. Jason, when I saw you jump Ric at the nurses' station, I thought that you were going to go to jail and that was going to be it, that was going to be the end of all of it -- I mean, our dreams, our plans. I had to save you from me. Because I love you and I want you in my life, but not if I have to fight you.
Jason: Just -- there is something wrong with me. But it's not how I think and it's not what I choose. It's that I fight people who try to choose for me. Even if I love them. Especially if I love them, Courtney. And you're right, what you said about -- about the land mine. I know it's there. I'm sorry that it's there, but I can't -- I can't change it.
Courtney: I just needed to understand.
Jason: I love you so much.
Courtney: God, I love you, too. Always.
Carly: What are you going to do now?
Lorenzo: Well, I'm going to give you what you want -- a reunion with your husband.
Sonny: I'm here alone. I wasn't followed, all right?
Man: He's clean.
Sonny: I did this exactly the way Alcazar wanted me to, so now what you guys need to do is take me to my wife.
Man: Sure, Mr. Corinthos.
Sonny: Come on.
On the next "General Hospital" --
Nikolas: I will be marrying you, but Emily has my heart.
Jason: I don't understand why Sonny hasn't called yet. Maybe this whole thing was a trap.
Man: If I get you what you want, what's in it for me?
Carly: I will be indebted to you.
Sonny: When do I get to see my wife?
Lorenzo: There's something I need from you first.
Ric: Why'd you come back?
