Stefan: Stay focused on Nikolas.
Zander: Emily and I -- it's over between us. Treat her well.
Jason: Sonny doesn't want it to be Ric because Ric's his brother.
Faith: You can't drink the lemonade. It's poisoned.
Mac: Faith Rosco, you're under arrest for the attempted murder of Elizabeth Lansing.
Sonny: I want my wife and child safe, no matter what it takes.
Scott: Well, you got yourself a deal.
Emily’s voice: I saw Luke with -- with Summer.
Scott's voice: On the bluffs?
Emily's voice: Yes.
Scott's voice: What were they doing?
Lydia: God, you could have warned me about that branch. And the creek -- that was completely unfair.
Nikolas: You asked for a challenging ride, and I think you handled it beautifully.
Lydia: Ok, do I have a fever? Because I must be delirious. You just said something nice to me.
Gia: Hey. What are you doing here?
Zander: Looking for you.
Zander: How's studying going?
Gia: Oh, I couldn't concentrate to save my life.
Zander: Well, sometimes, when you think about a situation too much, it makes it worse. I suggest not to think.
Gia: Ok. Well, what do you suggest I do to avoid it?
Zander: How do you feel about sailing?
Gia: It's night. And we don't have a boat.
Zander: I'll rent one. I haven't been out night sailing in forever. This weather's perfect for it. How about it? Want to go?
Gia: Well, I need your promise upfront that you're not going to dump the boat. And if the water's too choppy, forget it. My idea of having fun doesn't include feeling queasy.
Zander: One of the great things about you is that you tell me the truth, even when it's not what I want to hear.
Emily: I am not comfortable talking about my cancer, especially in front of a group of total strangers.
Alan: Emily, support groups can be a Godsend when you're in a fight like this. I mean, joining one was a turning point for Monica.
Monica: Emily, I didn't want to go to Arizona to a wellness center. I didn't want to sit with a bunch of cancer patients. But I went and I sat and I listened, and I realized I wasn't alone. It really changed my life.
Alan: Look, maybe it can help you, too. Just -- just go to one meeting. Please, for our sake.
Monica: Please, Em?
Cameron: Courtney, I'm Dr. Lewis. Dr. Ryan's with a patient and asked me to consult with you.
Courtney: Well, how much do you know about my nephew's case?
Cameron: Oh, I've been consulting from the beginning.
Courtney: Well, Michael remembered seeing Ric Lansing take Carly.
Cameron: Could he give you any details?
Courtney: Not really. I mean, he only remembered after he heard Jason say that Ric took Carly. In fact, he used the exact same words that Jason used.
Cameron: I can see why you'd be concerned. He's probably just parroting what he heard Jason say.
Courtney: Why would Michael lie about who took his mother?
Cameron: Well, he wouldn't think of it as a lie. He's just saying what he thinks the grownups want to hear.
Elizabeth: I drank some lemonade. I felt like I couldn't breathe. And the next thing I remember was waking up here in the hospital.
Mac: Well, have you noticed anything unusual around the house recently?
Elizabeth: Not that I can think of.
Mac: Has your husband been behaving erratically lately? Disappearing on unexplained errands? Anything like that?
Elizabeth: You're not here to investigate Faith Rosco poisoning me. You're doing a follow-up on Sonny's ridiculous accusations that Ric kidnapped Carly. You know what? I live with him, I sleep with him. There is no way he could be holding Carly captive without my knowledge.
Jason: What happened?
Faith: I was framed.
Andy: Mrs. Rosco admitted to poisoning Elizabeth Webber. The victim lived, so we're charging her with attempted murder.
Faith: It's all a misunderstanding.
Jason: Where's Sonny?
Andy: Interrogation room.
Sonny: I'm not going to sign anything until you bring Carly to me. You know that, right?
Scott: Well, hi, Jason. Your boss isn't going anywhere.
Jason: Can I speak to him alone?
Scott: Sure, sure. I don't see why not. I'm going to go check an update on the search for Carly.
Jason: What kind of deal did you offer Scott?
Sonny: When the cops find Carly, I’m going to sign a complete confession and I'm going to go to prison for racketeering.
Jason: What? Sonny, this is wrong.
Sonny: I want my wife back.
Carly: What are you doing?
Lorenzo: I'm glad Ric was so thorough, making sure you have every comfort. Unfortunately, I need more.
Carly: More of what? What -- what are you doing?
Lorenzo: I'm putting together a little present for your husband. Now, don't move. You don't want to endanger the baby.
Ric: Get away from her.
Sonny: We need more than guns and money to find Carly. We need technology. We need forensics specialists --
Jason: No, no, no, no. Ric has Carly. Michael told us. All we got to do now is get Ric to talk, Sonny.
Sonny: I understand why you hate Ric. He's a snake. He went after Carly. He went after Courtney. He lied about a lot of things.
Jason: Look, Michael saw Ric take Carly.
Sonny: Michael is repeating what he heard you say.
Jason: No, he's not, he's telling the truth.
Sonny: Then why didn't you find Carly? You searched the house. You didn't come up with -- not even a shred of --
Jason: What about the lights? The lights went off when I was leaving. That could mean something.
Sonny: Ok, you got to let go of this hatred you have with Ric, Jason, for Carly’s sake. The one with the motive, the one with the means is Alcazar. And if he has her, she could be anywhere around the world. If I want to find her, I have to cooperate with the feds.
Jason: And what if you're wrong? What if it was Ric and you don't want to see it because Ric is your brother?
Sonny: This has nothing to do --
Jason: You don't want --
Sonny: With Ric being my brother!
Jason: We had Ric and we let him go!
Sonny: This has nothing to do with Ric being my brother. I'm dealing with facts right now. And I got to find Carly my way. And I expect you to respect my decision!
Carly: I won't eat it. I already told you, I’d starve first.
Lorenzo: If necessary, I can have her moved to a private clinic, strapped to a bed, and fed intravenously. I imagine it would be unpleasant and distressing for everyone involved, but it'll keep her healthy.
Ric: Is that what you want?
Lorenzo: Much better. You know what? I do a better job of keeping her under control.
Ric: When I gave you a remote to that panic room, it did not give you carte blanche to come and go anytime you feel like it. Now, my wife, the police, and Sonny have no idea she is in there. They have come to this house, they've repeatedly searched it, and they've come up with nothing. Now, unless you're trying to bring them back here to search it again, I would suggest you stay away from Carly and you let me handle her.
Lorenzo: I got a better way to distract the police. I'll give them someplace else to look for Carly.
Monica: You want me to go with you?
Emily: No. Thanks, but I have to do this alone.
Alan: Emily -- Emily, this is a positive step. We wouldn't be encouraging you to do this unless we thought it would help.
Monica: Listen, you think that nobody understands what you're going through. But those women in there -- they do, Em. I promise you, they do. I love you.
Alan: I love you, sweetheart.
Woman: What about you? Are you ok?
Second woman: I still can't believe it about Susan. How many years had she been cancer-free?
First woman: Four.
Second woman: They found it in her lymph nodes.
First woman: Stage three.
Emily: I'm sorry, I can't do this.
Monica: Emily, wait.
Nikolas: I'm not biased against you.
Lydia: Oh, so being distant and aloof is how you show you like someone?
Nikolas: I was cautious, with good reason. It was clear from the beginning you weren't telling me everything.
Lydia: Well, now you know the whole awful truth. I'm a spoiled rich girl, and your uncle has decided that I would be perfect for you, which guarantees you're going to treat me as though I've got the plague.
Nikolas: No, I actually think you're very pleasant when you're not trying so hard or working an agenda.
Lydia: And you can be quite charming when you're not acting all suspicious.
Nikolas: There's a difference between suspicious and wary, Lydia.
Lydia: Please. Come on, somebody can't pour themselves a glass of champagne without you wondering what the ulterior motive is.
Nikolas: That's not true.
Lydia: Prove it. Let me take you out to dinner, and we'll see if you can sit for an entire two hours without suspecting me of something sinister. You see? You're already suspicious.
Nikolas: Excuse me. Hello?
Monica: Nikolas, hi. It's Monica Quartermaine. And -- well, I -- I need your help. Alan and I tried to get Emily to go to a cancer survivors' support group. And she lasted about 30 seconds. She just -- she just ran out, and we have no idea where she went. Do you?
Nikolas: When did this happen?
Monica: Just now.
Nikolas: Ok. I'll find her. Thanks for calling.
Lydia: Are you all right?
Nikolas: I have to go. Ok?
Lydia: Damn it.
Stefan: I know you're out here.
Lydia: What do you want?
Stefan: An update. How was your ride with Nikolas? Making any progress?
Lydia: You have the subtlety of a freight train in pushing Nikolas and I together, so naturally, he's more than a little resistant. Thank you very much. Luckily, I can be charming, and Nikolas and I really do have a lot in common.
Stefan: Don't get overconfident.
Lydia: Stop telling me what to do. You tried doing this your way, and we both know how that turned out.
Emily: Oh, Gia.
Gia: Are you ok?
Emily: Hi. Yeah -- no, I'm -- I’m a little distracted. I didn't see you there. Uh -- how are things going with --
Gia: Me and Zander?
Gia: I don't know. There's this huge secret between us, and I can't stop thinking about it.
Emily: Ok, you can't tell Zander I have cancer, Gia. You promised.
Gia: You're still in love with him, Emily.
Emily: Yeah, and I want him to be happy, and you're the one who can help him move on.
Gia: When you're through with the chemo, you're going to want him back.
Emily: Look, I don't even know that I'm going to make it through the chemo.
Gia: Hey, hey -- you're scared, you know, which is perfectly understandable. You're going to rally, and you're going to beat this. If Zander ever found out that I knew about your cancer and didn't tell him --
Emily: He'll never know you knew. I swear, I will take this secret to my grave. And who knows when that's going to happen, huh? In five months or in 50 years. The important thing is that you and Zander have each other. And I won't get in the way. And I'll never, ever tell him what you knew or when.
Nikolas: Emily. Emily, I’ve been looking all over for you.
Nikolas: I'll tell you on the way. We're late already.
Emily: No, no -- wait. Late for what?
Nikolas: An important meeting that's pivotal to our future. Let's go.
Elizabeth: Come in.
Courtney: I just heard you were in the hospital. How are you feeling?
Elizabeth: Much better, thanks. Especially now that Faith has been arrested.
Courtney: Yeah, well, maybe the police will finally get the charges against her to stick.
Elizabeth: Yeah, I hope so.
Courtney: Well, I'm glad you're ok. You know, when Carly first disappeared, I was sure Faith was behind it.
Elizabeth: It wasn't Ric. He was with me that night.
Courtney: Ok, but Michael was our only witness, and he said that Ric was in the church.
Elizabeth: Well, Michael made a mistake.
Courtney: Ok, that's possible. Michael -- he did only remember seeing Ric take Carly after he heard Jason and Sonny discussing it.
Elizabeth: Oh. Well, you see? There you go. Michael didn't see Ric take Carly, he's just parroting --
Courtney: Ok, Elizabeth, just hear me out. Just hear me out, ok? I am not here to accuse anyone. I am asking for your help. All right, just think back to the night of June 13. Think about how Ric has been acting since. And think with your head and not your heart. Do you think that there is a remote possibility that Ric has Carly?
Ric: Look at that. You ate. Good. So you'll feel better.
Carly: Probably can't say the same for you, though, huh, Ric? You know, because you're about to lose control of this situation, if you haven't already.
Ric: It's an advantage to me because it draws suspicion away from me.
Carly: Oh. But you worked with Alcazar's brother once before, right? How many years did you waste in that prison cell in South America for that mistake? You're in over your head, Ric, and the only way out of this for you now is to ask for Sonny's mercy.
Ric: Oh, yeah, that will work.
Carly: Well, your plan's not going to work. I mean, tell me, how are you supposed to really give my baby to Elizabeth? It won't work. Don't you know that the only way out of this with your life is to take me back to Sonny right now? Tell him the truth, Ric. Tell him. Tell him that you blame him for Elizabeth losing the baby and that you were so struck with grief that it made you crazy enough to want his child. Just tell him. He will understand that you were sick. He'll understand that you made a mistake and that Alcazar took full advantage of the situation. Come on. Ric, ask your brother for mercy. You know he doesn't want to kill you. You need to do that before Alcazar's going to take over.
Ric: That's the end of this conversation.
Carly: Ric, come on. I mean, you need -- you need to do something. Just go to Sonny. Tell him before -- come on. Tell him before you lose everything that you love. Ric, this is crazy!
Faith: When they told me I had a visitor, you weren't who I had in mind.
Jason: Listen to me, Lansing set you up for the cops. You don't owe him anything.
Faith: What do you want?
Jason: You've been following Ric, probably working for him, and you know he has Carly. Where?
Mac: We don't have enough evidence to get a warrant to search Lansing’s property.
Sonny: Are you telling me it's a waste of time, Mac?
Mac: We've got zero proof that Ric took Carly. I questioned Elizabeth. She said that Ric was with her the whole night when Carly was abducted.
Sonny: You know Michael said that Ric took her. So I don't know what else you want me to do here.
Mac: Sonny, I know you want to believe your son, but he's just a little boy. He's been traumatized. He didn't come up with Ric as the abductor until days after she was taken.
Sonny: You think he's saying what I want to hear?
Mac: Yeah. Yeah, I do.
Sonny: So do I.
Scott: Well, you're not from forensics, so what do you jokers want?
Man: District Attorney Baldwin, I’m Agent Brown. My partner is Agent Fox. We're here to take possession of a suspect you have in custody.
Jason: You spent enough time stalking Ric. You've been in and out of his house. Now, I want you to tell me, where did Ric take Carly?
Faith: You know what? I know how much Ric hates Sonny. So at first, I thought he took Carly, too, but he didn’t.
Jason: You know it's a bad idea to lie to me.
Faith: I'm not, ok? Ric is all about his sappy little wife right now, what would make Elizabeth happy, being good enough for Elizabeth. He didn't take Carly. He's too busy trying to qualify for husband of the year right now.
Scott: There's no way you two come trotting in here and take over my case. It's not going to happen.
Agent Brown: This is from Washington. It's legal, cannot be appealed. I advise you to cooperate or face arrest for obstruction and violation of the National Security Act.
Sonny: I don't trust Baldwin. All he wants to do is put me in prison. He can care less if Carly's found. I want proof, Mac, that the feds are called in and that Alcazar and every piece of real estate he owns is under surveillance.
Scott: G-men are here.
Agent Brown: Commissioner, I'm Agent Brown. This has just now become a federal matter. Sir, you need to leave.
Mac: Fine. He's all yours.
Sonny: Hi. I assume D.A. Baldwin has filled you in on the deal that I'm offering. If you find my wife, I will sign a full confession and plead guilty to racketeering and Rico violations.
Agent Brown: The bureau is not interested in your deal. And we have one of our own that we'd like to discuss.
Elizabeth: I understand why everyone in Sonny's family hates Ric. He has done terrible things. But all of that is behind him now. Ric and I have made a conscious decision to put the past behind us and to start over. And I believe that -- no, I know that he has done that. Not only because I love him, but because I live with him. Now, if he were holding Carly captive somewhere, he would have to sneak off, and he doesn't. He is with me all throughout the day, and he sleeps beside me every night.
Courtney: Ok, well, do you think it's a possibility that Ric could have hired someone --?
Elizabeth: No. No, I don't think it's a possibility. All Ric wants is peace with Sonny. Ok, now, I know all of you think that Ric is this monster, especially Jason, but you're wrong. He doesn't know anything about what's happened to Carly.
Courtney: Jason believes Michael.
Elizabeth: Well, I think Jason wants it to be Ric. Well, he hurt you, he hurt Carly, and also because Ric is Sonny's biological brother. On some level, that's got to threaten Jason. All this time Jason has always considered himself Sonny's only brother. And then all of a sudden, Ric shows up, and now Sonny's got a real brother. I think Jason wants Ric to be the kidnapper, but he's not. And for everyone's sake, Courtney -- especially for Carly’s -- you have to believe me and you need to convince Jason.
Gia: I was just dialing your cell.
Zander: What's up? Why haven't you changed yet?
Gia: I have. I've changed my mind about sailing and where we seem to be heading in general. I think it's best for both of us if we get out now.
Zander: Did I do something to make you doubt me?
Gia: No. Just the opposite, you know? You've been wonderful. So wonderful, I'm starting to care about you -- big time. And I know -- I know you're still in love with Emily and this is just a rebound thing with me. I understand. That's fine. It's just I can see this turning into a full-fledged disaster, and I just want to pull the emergency brake before anyone gets hurt.
Zander: You finished yet?
Gia: Yeah. I think I've completely bared my soul.
Zander: Ok, Gia, just listen. I like you -- more every day. And I think this could head someplace good, and I'd like to find that out. I would also like to prove to you that you can trust me.
Gia: Zander -- I need you to be sure that what you're doing is what you want, you know? Because if you change your mind about Emily, or decide that we're just friends after all, there could be a strong chance you'd break my heart.
Zander: I wouldn't do that.
Lydia: If Nikolas knew what you've done already, he'd hate you.
Stefan: I always act in Nikolas' best interests. He knows that.
Lydia: I'm in his best interest, and I can convince him of that if you would just stay out of it.
Stefan: We don't have much time.
Lydia: And whose fault is that?
Stefan: If you can't make this work, I’ll use my own methods.
Lydia: Of all the dreary, pompous, self-important idiots --
Lucky: I'd have to agree.
Lydia: Where did you come from?
Lucky: Wrong question. The right one is, what did I hear? And the answer is, all kinds of interesting stuff.
Emily: The meeting started a half-hour ago. I'm already late. I don't even want to be in there, Nikolas.
Nikolas: Well, that makes sense. I'll tell you what -- you go. You go, and I'll go find Zander and tell him the truth.
Emily: That is blackmail!
Nikolas: Look, you are convinced that you are going to die. You don't want Zander to watch that. I can understand. But let me let you in on a little secret, Emily. I don't want to watch you die, either.
Emily: I never asked you to. I only asked you to pretend to love me.
Nikolas: I don't want to lose you. I want you in my life, ok? Asking me for favors, fighting for every lost cause in the universe. But why won't you fight for yourself? I've done everything you've asked me to do, but now I need you to do something for me. You have to consider the possibility that you can survive this. You have to go in there with those women who have managed it, and you have to sit down and you have to talk to them. Yeah, that's blackmail. And you know what? I am better at it than you are.
Woman: I keep thinking about how hard it is to explain --
Emily: Excuse me. I apologize for barging in. My fiancé didn't give me any choice. My name is Emily, and the truth is I shouldn't even be here. This is group is for cancer survivors, and -- um -- I don't think I'm going to make it.
Woman: Emily, my name is June, and I know exactly how you feel.
Ric: Well, you miss me?
Elizabeth: Always. What have you been doing all day?
Ric: Um -- I went to the police station. They're going to prosecute Faith for what she did to you.
Elizabeth: I know. Mac was here earlier. And Courtney was here. She just left a few minutes ago.
Ric: Oh, that's great. And what did she have to say?
Elizabeth: Actually, we were surprisingly polite with each other. She just wanted to know if I thought you had anything to do with Carly’s disappearance. So I had to tell her the truth -- that you would never put a pregnant woman in danger and you don't know where Carly is and that all you want is peace with Sonny.
Ric: You know, it means so much the way -- the way you believe in me. It means everything.
Jason: Hey. What are you doing here?
Courtney: I went to see Elizabeth.
Jason: Courtney, I know that you want to help, but I wish you would have let me handle it.
Courtney: Ok, but you were busy, Jason. How's Sonny?
Jason: Well, he's convinced himself that Alcazar took Carly. And he offered to sign a confession and go to prison if the feds will help get Carly back. Sonny's throwing his life away because Alcazar doesn't have Carly, Ric does.
Courtney: Ok, Jason, you don't know that for sure.
Jason: Michael saw Ric take Carly.
Courtney: Ok, but I just spoke to one of the psychiatrists here at the hospital --
Courtney: And he said that Michael may be just repeating what he heard you say.
Courtney: Ok, Jason, look, Elizabeth swears that Ric isn't hiding Carly. Maybe Sonny's right. Maybe it is Alcazar.
Sonny: I know Luis Alcazar was under some kind of federal protection. His brother probably, too, but, look, he took my wife. I'll do whatever I need to do to get her back.
Agent brown: Luis Alcazar was useful to us. His brother Lorenzo, on the other hand -- he's an embarrassment. We need to remove him as soon as possible, and you're in a position to help.
Sonny: I'm listening.
Agent Brown: You're of no use to us in jail. You're just a drain on the taxpayers' money. So the deal you've made with D.A. Baldwin is now null and void.
Scott: Null -- what are you talking about? This is your chance to lock him up and throw away the key.
Agent Brown: We want you to conduct your business as usual -- all of your business. Alcazar is motived to deal with you. We're aware that he's reached out to you in the past and you've refused to negotiate. Now, we will find your wife if you'll reach an agreement with Alcazar and honor it.
Sonny: You want me to move drugs?
Agent Brown: We want you to establish a business relationship with Alcazar so that you can position one of my people to spy on him.
Lucky: You know, I've been trying to figure out what happened to Summer the night that she fell, and guess what -- I found a really nice spot where you can hide and watch the bluffs and wait for the perfect moment to push somebody over.
Lydia: Look, it is very sad what happened to your girlfriend, but it was obviously an accident. Now, I’m going to do you a favor and let you go without calling the guards.
Lucky: Oh, you're generous. I'll be sure and fill Nikolas in on the conversation you were having with Stefan.
Lydia: Look, you have no idea what the stakes are here, so do Nikolas a favor and just stay out of it.
Lucky: No, we're not finished.
Lydia: Oh, yes, we are.
Monica: Hi. Is Emily in there?
Nikolas: Yeah. She -- you were right, she didn't want to go.
Monica: Well, thank you for getting her here.
Nikolas: These groups have to work, Monica. I know Emily. Once she starts fighting, she won't stop.
Monica: You know you're beginning to sound like a real fiancé?
Nikolas: I'm just someone who really loves Emily.
Woman: I remember when I first found out and I didn't know what to do. And I was trying to find my husband, and I couldn't find him. And I was driving down from work to go see the doctor and trying to find him, and going, "is this an emergency?" "What do I tell him?" "What do I do?" It was a horrifying experience.
Woman: Yeah, I know that kind of isolation. I had two young daughters when I was diagnosed, and I didn't want to tell them about this experience because I -- the thought that I would have to tell them that they may be without a mother was horrifying to me. And --
Second woman: That's sad.
First woman: And rather than have them undergo all of the uncertainty and the pain and the -- you know, and the concern about my condition, I just decided to keep it -- my husband and I decided to keep it to ourselves. But it was so difficult because we had to whisper and keep secrets on the phone. And when they would come in the room, we'd stop talking, and we were in this suspended reality. But, you know, kids are sensitive, and she knew. And she came to me one night and said, "Mom, you have breast cancer, don't you?" And there went the plan.
Woman: We could not lie to her. But, you know, after that, we opened up, and the family came together, and we were able to share and cry and hope together. And that kind of family support is what it's all about.
Second woman: Feels much better when everybody knows, doesn't it?
First woman: It's such a release.
Jason: Sonny doesn't want Ric to have Carly because Sonny let Ric live. So it's easy for him to think that Alcazar took Carly, even if that means going to prison. But I know that Ric took Carly.
Courtney: But, Jason, you don't have proof.
Jason: What more proof do you need? Michael saw Ric take her.
Courtney: Michael said what he heard you say, what he thought you wanted him to. Ok, look, I hate Ric as much as you do. I do. But if we're going to help find Carly, maybe we need to figure out who else could have taken her.
Ric: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Stop. Stop, Jason. You're going to go harass my wife now, as well? Look, the woman almost died. She's been through enough. She doesn't need to deal with your paranoid accusations or your vendetta against me.
Jason: You don't want me to bother Elizabeth? Then why don't you tell me where you took Carly?
Ric: That's exactly what I'm talking about. Now, get out of here before I call security.
Courtney: No! Jason --
Jason: You know what? I'm so tired of your crap! You better tell me where you took Carly!
Lorenzo: I'm glad to be rid of Lansing. He must be off visiting his wife.
Carly: You took my hair so you could send Sonny and the police on a wild-goose chase, didn't you? That way they'd think I was someplace else.
Lorenzo: You're a smart lady. As we speak, strands of your hair are being left on a rented plane on its way to Caracas, where a friend of mine runs an armed compound. A beautiful blonde woman will surface there under heavy guard. So the focus for you will switch to South America. And you'll be here the whole time, safe and sound.
Carly: Why are you doing this? You say you're a businessman, so why -- why do you want to help this lunatic who's bent on revenge?
Lorenzo: Lansing's not a lunatic, he's a romantic. He's convinced himself he's doing this out of love for a woman. It is a terrible weakness -- devotion to one woman. It brought my brother down, made him a fool, easy prey for Sonny.
Carly: Alexis Davis killed your brother.
Lorenzo: The Davis woman may have been the actual murderer, but Luis died because Brenda left him to warn Sonny. He couldn't accept it. He never got over it. Terrible waste. Although, to be honest with you, I can run the business more efficiently alone.
Carly: Ok, then make a business decision. Call Sonny. Call him right now, tell him you have me, and make a deal.
Lorenzo: A loving brother would avenge Luis' death, no matter what the cost. While a true businessman would deal with anyone if it works to his advantage.
Carly: But you just said that Luis was a fool and that the business was better off without him.
Lorenzo: And that's true. But I'll tell you a secret. I love my brother, and I want Sonny to pay for his death.
Sonny: Let me get this straight. You want me to act like it doesn't matter that my wife has vanished, right? You want me to cut a deal with Lorenzo Alcazar. You want to bring one of your operatives to the meetings. You want me to position the guy to get access to Alcazar. And then your guy, your agent, is going to wear a wire and he's going to get whatever evidence he can to bring down Alcazar.
Agent Brown: And in return, the finest forensics team available will be assigned to your wife's case. We'll figure out where she is, and we will bring her back.
Sonny: Ok, what do you want me to sign?
Agent Brown: Nothing.
Scott: Oh, come on, you've got to be kidding.
Sonny: Ok, you know what? You can bring your guy into my organization.
Agent Brown: It's me. He's agreed.
Scott: This is never going to work. Take his confession, lock him up.
Agent Brown: Mr. Baldwin, you are in the way. This is a federal matter. It does not concern you.
Scott: He will double-cross you. He'll walk away. He always does.
Agent brown: Mr. Baldwin, the bureau appreciates your cooperation, Sir.
Scott: Well, good for the bureau.
