>> Previously on "General Hospital" --

Luke: I'm looking for this guy.

Sonia: I don't know the gentleman.

Ned: Skye's ability really isn't the issue. She's her own worst enemy.

Skye: Carly, it's Skye. I just want to let you know that Michael is here.

Jason: Think you can climb out of here?

Courtney: Help me.

Ric: Go ahead and pull the trigger. Kill your own brother.

Jason: You ok?

Courtney: Jason?

Jason: Hey, hey, you ok?

Courtney: It's --

Jason: What hurts? What is it?

[Courtney coughs]

Courtney: I can't breathe.

Jason: Ok, just slow down. We're ok. Just sit up. Is that any better?

Courtney: Yeah. A little. Oh, God. I think it's my ribs.

Jason: All right, you think you can climb the ladder?

Courtney: What ladder?

Jason: Ah.

Courtney: Jason?

Jason: We got to get out of here.

Alexis: Can I talk to you for a sec? Did you talk to the judge?

Cameron: Everything's fine so far. Edward's keeping his distance.

Alexis: Because you can prove that Edward was going to torch the gatehouse?

Cameron: That was kind of brilliant of me, wasn't it?

Alexis: You didn't tell her that I was with Kristina at the cabin and that you brought Kristina there?

Cameron: All the judge knows is that Kristina was returned. She'll allow you supervised visitation as long as you behave like a model citizen and continue your therapy.

Alexis: Model citizen, according to whose standards?

Cameron: Well, mine, primarily, since Iím your court-appointed therapist.

Alexis: Is there any chance at all that you're ever going to become a little less arrogant?

Cameron: Probably not. Just don't give the judge an excuse to pull your visitation.

Alexis: Why would I do that?

Cameron: She's starting to resent you. Baldwin's already there. Alexis, we've pushed the envelope about as far as we can.

Alexis: You know what -- I have a right to visit my own daughter.

Cameron: No. What you have is a privilege to visitation, and if you pull any more stunts, you could lose that.

Alexis: You call risking everything to protect my daughter a stunt?

Cameron: Just don't expect me to cover for you next time.

>> The role of Nikolas Cassadine is now being played by Tyler Christopher.

Nikolas: I need to speak with you for a moment. Excuse us.

Cameron: Do I have a choice?

Nikolas: No.

Alexis: You know, Nikolas, you need to know that Iím not allowed to practice law at the moment.

Nikolas: I need more than a lawyer, Alexis. I need you to act like a Cassadine.

Skye: Grandfather, why wasn't I sent the R&D reports?

Edward: They're confidential.

Skye: I'm on the E.L.Q. board.

Edward: Not anymore.

Skye: Did I miss a memo?

Edward: Well, you see, the E.L.Q. board is for Quartermaines only. You don't have the D.N.A.

Skye: Well, so much for being a part of the family.

Edward: Mm-hmm. You may have as much love and support as you want. Just keep your hands away from the stock options.

Skye: Thank you, Grandfather.

Carly: All right, listen to me, honey, I don't want you to believe a word that A.J. says.

A.J.: Carly, don't poison my son against me.

Carly: He is a liar, he's mean, and he hurts people, sweetheart.

A.J.: I said stop.

Carly: Let go of me. Ah!

Michael: Mommy!

A.J.: I got you, I got you!

Edward: Are you pushing her down the stairs again?

Carly: Let go. Michael, come on. Come on, Iím fine. Let's go.

A.J.: And I didn't push anybody down any stairs.

Skye: What happened?

Carly: Nothing happened.

Michael: Mommy almost fell.

Carly: Come on, Michael, we're leaving.

Edward: No, no, no, no, no. No, I -- I didn't even know you were here. Well, young man, it's just -- it's wonderful to see you, hmm?

Michael: Do you live here?

Edward: I certainly do. And you know something -- you could live here any time you want, yeah?

Carly: Let it go, Edward.

Edward: So, what brings this visit, huh?

A.J.: Michael just wanted to know if he was my son, so I was trying --

Skye: All right, you know, that's enough.

Ric: Come on, shoot me. Come on, you destroyed everybody else in your family. Why not me?

Sonny: You're scared. You'll say anything.

Ric: I'm begging you to shoot me, brother.

Sonny: I'm not your brother, Ric.

Ric: Oh, yeah?

Sonny: No, I'm not.

Ric: Adela was pregnant when you were here, when you pushed her down those stairs.

Sonny: I didn't push her down those stairs.

Ric: You know who she was pregnant with, Sonny, huh? Me. Trevor Lansing is my father. He owned this house. Adela is my mother.

Sonny: No way.

Ric: Why don't you go ahead and shoot me, all right? I'm the bastard brother! I've been planning your destruction for years! Come on, don't you want a little payback?

Lucky: You know what -- Summer and I don't need your help to find her brother.

Luke: Well, then let me get out of your way.

Lucky: Well, why do you have to find Matt, anyway?

Luke: Personal reasons. I'm going to change hotels.

Lucky: Oh, so the first hard question, you're out of here, right?

Luke: No. I think you need your privacy.

Lucky: Like when mom got sick, you just got crazy and disappeared?

Luke: And you turned her over to Nikolas Cassadine.

Lucky: What does any of this have to do with Summer's brother?

Luke: Maybe he's working for Nikolas, too.

Lucky: So what?

Luke: "So what?" He used Summer against me. Maybe he's using her brother against all of us.

Lucky: Oh, God, that's a stretch, Dad.

Luke: Only if you take everything that he says as the gospel truth, no matter how many times he's lied to your face. I'll talk to you in a couple of days.

Lucky: Dad, don't go. Look, you know what -- we're all after the same thing. We'll get further if we work together. I'm not going to say Iím sorry, so forget it.

Luke: All right. Now, if you were Matt, where would you be hiding?

Summer: Sonia, Matt could be in serious trouble.

Sonia: You're even more beautiful than the last time.

Summer: Please, do you know where he is?

Sonia: If I did, I wouldn't be standing here with you.

Alexis: What exactly do you want me to do, Nikolas?

Nikolas: The trouble between Luke and me is getting worse. He needs someone else to blame besides himself for Lauraís condition, so he's chosen me.

Alexis: I've already done all that I can do. I arranged for the restraining order.

Nikolas: Yeah, I know, and I appreciate it, but we both know he has no intention of honoring that.

Alexis: Just to be clear, I won't hurt Luke or Lucky, and I don't want you going after them, either.

Nikolas: I'm just trying to protect my mother, Alexis, ok?

Alexis: Well, I'm more interested in protecting you. So we'll go to Wyndemere and we'll talk and we'll discuss what we're going to do with Luke.

Cameron: Alexis Davis, savior of the Cassadines.

Nikolas: We're having a private conversation here.

Cameron: Was I eavesdropping? It's an occupational hazard.

Alexis: I don't recall asking for your input about this particular thing.

Cameron: Well, I'm not surprised, because you know as well as I do the last thing you need is to get dragged into a power struggle between your family and Luke Spencer.

Alexis: I don't know, maybe you should stay out of this.

Cameron: You seem determined to make this judge yank your visitation rights.

Nikolas: Am I understanding this? You're threatening to turn Alexis in to the judge for offering to visit her own nephew?

Alexis: Dr. Lewis mistakenly believes that he's running my life. He isn't. Don't worry. I'll call you.

Nikolas: Ok. Thanks.

Cameron: Well, you sure told me, didn't you? It's your life and you'll live it just as you please, even if it costs you your daughter.

Alexis: Quick question -- who do you think you are?

Skye: Michael came here on his own.

Edward: So you let him run away again, huh?

Skye: He was trying to understand what biological father is.

Edward: Oh, God, why is it so impossible for you to keep track of this little child?

Skye: I explained to him that no one would force him to live here, that he belongs with you and Sonny.

Edward: Think we ought to call social services?

Carly: Are you threatening me, Edward?

Edward: If you continue to let him run wild in the streets --

A.J.: Actually, Michael wants to be here.

Michael: I do not!

Skye: Michael, you will not be forced to live here. We understand that.

Carly: Michael and I are going now.

A.J.: Bye, Michael.

Edward: How could you let that woman drag that precious child away?

A.J.: What was I supposed to do, tackle them?

Skye: Hey, Carly and Sonny are that boy's parents. Whether you like it or not, I'm afraid there's not much we can do about it.

Edward: No, because you signed away the Quartermaine heir to a gangster and his moll.

A.J.: The man hung me on a meat hook.

Edward: And that little boy still wanted to come back here. Can you imagine what he's been through tonight, just wandering around like that? He could have been run over by a car or have been lost or anything, but he came back here. And do you know why? Because he is a Quartermaine, A.J. He has courage and he has backbone and stamina. And what did you do? You sent him away!

A.J.: I didn't send him away. It was Skye.

Skye: Well, maybe he's better off away from this house.

Edward: What do you know about this house or growing up Quartermaine? I'll tell you one thing -- if that little boy is in this house, a great deal is going to be expected of him. Now, maybe he'll be able to live up to his name -- I don't know, maybe not -- but he will be safe at night and he will be loved, and he will not be surrounded by bodyguards and guns and he will not know fear. That's what the little boy was trying to tell us. He is desperate to get back in this house!

Skye: Grandfather, I was just trying --

Edward: No Quartermaine would have driven that little child away. God.

A.J.: Who do you think you are, throwing yourself between me and my son?

Skye: I was just trying to reassure Michael.

A.J.: By re-enforcing Carly's lies? Is that it? Why didn't you just tell him the truth -- that I am his father and that he was stolen from me!

Skye: A.J., Carly and Sonny are his parents. He wants to be with them.

A.J.: Who made you an authority on children all of a sudden?

Skye: He's a little boy who loves his family. He shouldn't be afraid he's just going to lose them overnight.

A.J.: Oh, so Iím supposed to lose my son forever, is that right?

Skye: Hey, isn't what's important what's good for Michael here?

A.J.: When you thought we were blood, we were like one, on the same team. But now you're against me like all the rest.

Skye: Oh, now, you wait a minute. If you expect me to feel sorry for you --

A.J.: No, I don't care what you feel. I don't care. I don't know you. I have no sister.

Sonny: Don't think I don't know you're making this up.

Ric: Yeah, come on, shoot me! Well, come on. What? So deny everything then. You never spent a summer in this house?

Sonny: Yeah, I did, with my mother.

Ric: Uh-huh.

Sonny: Your father must have been the landlord.

Ric: Yeah, well, fine, if that works for you, then that's fine. But how was your mother going to be able to afford to rent a place like this, Sonny? You know how much this place is worth, even back then? She was a single mother educated in Cuba. She was fortunate to have a job as my father's secretary, and even more fortunate to -- to have fallen in love with him.

Sonny: That never happened.

Ric: Oh, yeah? He got her pregnant.

Sonny: That's a lie.

Ric: You know what the sad part about this whole thing is? Hmm?

Sonny: Hmm?

Ric: My father really loved her. I mean, what's not to love, right? Adela was beautiful, she was -- she was kind, she was funny. Dad told me how she used to sing to the radio in English and Spanish, all the songs. She didn't get the words right. She didn't care, though. She used to just sing it out as loud as she could. He almost cried when he told me that story. I think he was relieved when I finally found out, I mean, when I asked about her. You know he was planning on leaving his wife for her? Yeah, he wanted to -- he wanted you and Adela and the baby -- me -- to be a family. That's why you were here that summer.

Sonny: You're smart. You do your homework. But you're lying, Ric.

Ric: Was your Brooklyn apartment air-conditioned, Sonny? Hmm? Trevor wanted Adela to be as comfortable as possible. You know, the divorce was kicking in. He was setting you up out here. It made sense. It was the easiest thing for everybody. She used to love this place. She got a taste of the good life that she could have had. My father wanted to give her everything. He wanted to give her financial -- financial freedom, opportunities of every kind, and love. He wanted to give you that, too. Because he loved our mother so much.

Adela: You like Trevor, don't you? We could be a real family, be together all the time and so happy. Can you shake hands with him?

Ric: You were ice-cold even then, weren't you? You selfish killer. You thought Trevor was going to take Adela away from you, right, and you just couldn't have that. So you took care of the situation. Don't pretend like you don't remember.

Sonny: I didn't do anything.

Ric: Adela was pregnant and you pushed her down the stairs.

Sonny: No. No.

Ric: Really? You didn't want to keep me from being born? You thought Trevor would go away if there was no baby. And that way, you could have our mother all to yourself.

Sonny: I never -- I never hurt my mother.

Ric: You know, you took away our mother's one chance at real happiness when you pushed her down those stairs. You ruined her life.

Courtney: How'd you find me?

Jason: Ric owns this mine. He named it after Sonny's mother.

Courtney: Why would Ric name a mine after Sonny's mother?

Jason: I don't know, he's crazy. Come on. Come on, let's go.

Courtney: Oh, wait.

Jason: Be careful.

Courtney: Did Sonny meet Ric?

Jason: Yeah, in Marthaís Vineyard.

Courtney: Sonny's alone?

Jason: Well, Ric didn't leave him much choice. Come on, we got to get out of here. Hold on, hold on.

Courtney: Ok.

Jason: You ok?

Courtney: Yeah, let's go.

Jason: Be careful. Ok, hold on to something. Courtney, hold on!

[Courtney coughs]

Jason: All right, all right. Hold on, hold on.

Cameron: You've spent your life trying to free yourself from the Cassadines. Why drag yourself back into it now? What have you got to gain, Alexis?

Alexis: Are we on the clock?

Cameron: We should be if you're considering helping Nikolas.

Alexis: Do we need to discuss boundaries?

Cameron: Oh, such a trendy little word -- "boundaries." Not exactly legal terminology.

Alexis: Call it whatever you want. You're my psychiatrist. You aren't my dictator.

Cameron: No argument here.

Alexis: Did I ask for your assistance regarding the Cassadines?

Cameron: No, and for good reasons. The Cassadines are a complication you and your recovery don't need.

Alexis: The Cassadines happen to be my family, and Iím not going to turn my back on my family.

Cameron: Kristina is your family.

Alexis: So is Nikolas.

Cameron: Maybe you don't get to have both, Alexis, at least not now.

Alexis: That isn't your decision to make.

Cameron: Are you trying to provoke judge Farmer, prove a point with Scott Baldwin?

Alexis: I am trying to live a little bit of my own life.

Cameron: Yeah, a life I risked my career to help save. Have you forgotten all that, Alexis? The tearful confession in your hospital room, the promise to do anything -- anything -- if I would help you hang on to your daughter?

Alexis: Cameron, you have my undying gratitude, but please don't expect me to hand over control of my existence.

Cameron: Oh, I don't expect anything of you, Alexis. I'm just sorry I wasted my time and effort. So go ahead, rally the Cassadines. Hell, save Luke Spencer if you can. You got nothing to lose but your daughter. Good luck.

Skye: Well. Look who's here -- Ned. What, did A.J. and grandfather send you here to run me off? Is that it? What is it that you like to call yourself -- Ned, the gatekeeper? That's right. Well, you know what I call you? Little Ed. That's right. You're going to grow up to be just like him -- biggest hypocrite in the world. Say I'm part of this family? I was never a part of this family, and I never will be. So go ahead. That's what you wanted to tell me, right, so bring it on!

Ned: Actually, I was planning to offer you a job.

Skye: Oh. Why?

Ned: Good question. Jax is a hell of a salesman. And, you know, he almost convinced me that he might be right. But look at you. Obviously, I can't take the risk. You're completely out of control.

Skye: Can you blame me?

Ned: Skye, things happen. You just keep going. You don't get plastered and feel sorry for yourself. Not if you work for me.

Skye: You're just loving this, aren't you?

Ned: You want a hero? Call Jax.

Lucky: Look. We got decoyed.

Luke: She gets points for style.

Sonny: My mother was an honorable woman. She would never sleep with her boss.

Ric: She loved my father.

Sonny: She would never walk away from her own child.

Ric: Oh, you didn't give her much of a choice, did you, Sonny? I mean, after the fall, she wound up in the hospital. Everybody found out, including Trevorís wife. She told him that a divorce would ruin him, but he didn't care. He was -- he was going to go through with it anyway. That's how much he loved our mother.

Sonny: Adela is not your mother.

Ric: Well, technically, she still is. I mean, you and I didn't grow up together, but -- there's no way Trevor could have dealt with you.

Trevor: Your mother's going to stay in the hospital for a little while.

Young Sonny: I want to see her.

Trevor: You'll see her after she gets out of the hospital.

Young Sonny: Now!

Trevor: No, look, she's too sick to see you right now.

Young Sonny: I want to see my mother!

Trevor: Look, calm down.

Young Sonny: She needs me!

Trevor: Calm down.

Young Sonny: I'm want to see my mother! You can't stop me!

Trevor: Adela wouldn't even be in the hospital if it weren't for you! You made your mother fall down. You almost killed your own mother.

Ric: You know, I think my father was afraid of you even then. I mean, how can you blame him, after everything that you did? He was a responsible man. How could -- how could he bring a baby into the same house with you? It would have been a disaster. So he went to our mother and he asked her to put you up for adoption. He knew the kind of person you were. She couldn't give you up under any circumstances. Dad couldn't have you around, so Adela gave me up instead. Signed legal custody over to my father and disappeared. You won. When she was given the choice between you and me, our mother chose you.

[tango music plays]

Luke: Listen to that music. Summer loves to tango.

Summer: Any luck?

Sonia: I made a few calls.

Summer: Anybody I know?

Sonia: They'll be getting back to me. I see no reason not to enjoy ourselves. Want to dance?

Summer: Sure.

Luke: Did you catch that?

Lucky: Yeah, I got it.

Lucky: Check this out.

Luke: What do you got? A coin. It's old. Probably rare. It's Russian. Yeah. I smell Cassadine.

Lucky: Summer and I found one that looked like this in Nikolas' safe.

Nikolas: How could we lose Asian shipping? What -- no, no, you can't blame the market on this one. It -- the shipping division is bleeding money. You understand? It has to stop. Don't worry, all right? I'm exploring a new source of capital, some family assets that haven't been touched in years.

Skye: Hi.

Jax: Hey.

Skye: Oh, is this a bad time?

Jax: No, come in.

Skye: I just wanted to thank you for helping me out with Ned.

Jax: Oh, so he offered you the job.

Skye: Even mentioned a corner office.

Jax: When do you start?

Skye: Oh, please. Are you kidding? I attacked him before he even said hello. Said terrible things, called him Edward II.

Jax: Ouch.

Skye: Yeah. Anyway, I -- I just want to thank you. It was a really nice gesture. And I don't blame Ned. It's just that he's protecting the company's interest --

Jax: Yeah.

Skye: With the family and all, and Iím certainly not included in that.

Jax: Well, I'm sorry that it didn't work out.

Skye: Who knows -- maybe it's time I learned where I stand without the Quartermaines or the Chandlers or anybody else.

Jax: Sounds like a good idea.

Skye: I just have to figure out what it is that I want and how to get it.

Courtney: I'm all right, Jason.

Jason: No, Courtney, I'm not going to leave you here alone.

Courtney: I'm fine, ok? They'll do some tests. If there's anything wrong with me, they'll treat me. Come on, you need to go be with Sonny.

Carly: Oh, Courtney. Are you ok, honey?

Jason: Just be careful. Her ribs are bruised. She might have broken something. She needs to take a lot of tests.

Courtney: Ok, I -- I know Iím going to be fine, all right? I'll take the tests.

Carly: Thanks for calling me.

Jason: Any word from Sonny yet?

Carly: Nothing. Will you go after him, Jase, please? I will stay with Courtney, I promise you.

Jason: All right, Iíll let you know when I find him.

Carly: Thank you.

Carly: I've got a bad feeling about this.

Sonny: If your story is true, Ric, why'd you spend your whole life trying to destroy me?

Ric: You have to ask?

Sonny: You have money. You went to Harvard. You have a law degree. You could do anything you want.

Ric: Yeah, except grow up with my mother. You know, I got a picture of her that -- that I look at from time to time, you know, because I just like to imagine what she was like. I mean, did she laugh in the morning? Did -- did she like baseball? I imagine what her voice sounded like. You know, what did she cook for breakfast in the morning? Did -- I mean, I ask my father all of these things, but he -- he can't talk to me too long because it's too painful for him to --

Sonny: Well, at least he was good to you. He never walked away.

Ric: Yeah, every time my father looked at me in the face, he saw what might have been -- our mother, the life he might have had. So he stayed married. You know, he stayed at the office. My --

[Ric sighs]

Ric: My stepmother, she went through nannies like tissue paper. I wound up in boarding school by the time I was 14. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. It was a great school. I mean, my father was at every -- every parents' meeting. But if it weren't for you, I might have had a family. I might have heard my mother's voice every day. She might still be alive.

Sonny: That isn't what happened, Ric.

Ric: Every time I look at you, I think to myself this is what my mother chose -- a life of poverty and violence. When did you start running numbers?

Sonny: What difference does it make? I was 16!

Ric: Yeah, yeah, you were a criminal even then. You were in juvenile hall by the time you were 10. You dropped out of your sophomore year of high school. I mean, Adela walked away from all of this to raise a street thug, and what did she get in return, Sonny, huh? You hit her!

Sonny: I was protecting my mother.

Ric: Oh, really? Is that why she wound up in the hospital, she was beaten so badly?

Sonny: That was Deke. That was not me. That was Deke!

Ric: Deke, Deke, the cop?

Sonny: Yeah, the cop!

Ric: Her husband, not you! You don't accept responsibility for anything, do you? You're the one who called the ambulance, right, but she wouldn't press charges against you, refused. Just like she refused to give you up all those years ago. I mean, she couldn't turn her back on her precious firstborn.

Sonny: I never hurt my mother.

Ric: Yeah, Sonny Corinthos, right? Sonny Corinthos, the -- the generous man. You know, just don't ask him for anything too inconvenient, right? The man of honor? Just don't cross him. How can you live a life that is so terrible and be so arrogant, huh? Do you realize how ridiculous you are? Just look at you. You're a -- you're a Bensonhurst thug in a good suit. You try to hide the fact that you are ignorant and you have absolutely no education. You have people around you, Sonny, who take your orders and take your abuse, and, meanwhile, you take whatever you want, right? People, money, power -- anything.

Sonny: You -- you had every chance to kill me, Ric. Why didn't you?

Ric: You took a lot from me. I wanted to make you pay. I wanted to take everything from you that you love, everything that you need, and leave you broken. Then Iíd tell you the truth. It was your brother who destroyed you.

Sonny: You are a sick individual, Ric.

Ric: Yeah.

Sonny: And you failed. You didn't take an inch from my territory or a dime from my money. And then when you realized you couldn't win, you took it out on my wife and you raped her.

Ric: I never laid a hand on Carly. But she was begging for it.

Sonny: Yeah?

Skye: Maybe my timing's been off lately. Maybe that's about to change.

Jax: Our timing has been off from the start.

Skye: In other words, don't mistake a gesture of friendship for something else.

Jax: Look, I just -- I got work to do, that's all.

Skye: I can be very tenacious, you know.

Jax: Skye? Stay in touch.

Skye: I'll do that. Who knows -- maybe something good will come out of this.

Alexis: I'm glad she's sleeping so well.

Ned: She seems to like it here.

Alexis: Maybe she's just really, really tired. My time's not up yet. You don't mind if I stick around, do you?

Ned: No, of course not. So did Cameron get a chance to meet with the judge?

Alexis: Yeah, yeah. Kind of weird having someone be completely in charge of your whole life.

Ned: Well, you wouldn't even have visitation if not for him.

Alexis: Oh, and I thank him all the time. I sometimes wonder how much you have to thank somebody.

Ned: He seems to genuinely care about you.

Alexis: He does, I think, generally care -- care about me. So let's just leave it at that.

Ned: Ok.

Alexis: Ok. He doesn't want me to have anything to do with Nikolas because he's a Cassadine.

Ned: Hmm. Well, I've been telling you that for years.

Alexis: Why shouldn't I help my nephew? He's my nephew. He's my family.

Ned: Well, because you might lose Kristina.

Alexis: Did Cameron tell you that?

Ned: No, but it's kind of obvious.

Alexis: I'm surprised that he didn't call you up to warn you that I had an unauthorized conversation with my nephew.

Ned: Well, now you're sounding a little paranoid.

Alexis: I just don't see why I have to clear every single millisecond of my life with my therapist.

Ned: Cameron went out on a limb for you.

Alexis: And I'm never going to hear the end of it. I think maybe there's a little bit of line-crossing going on and perhaps I need to find a new therapist. So if you know anyone, I'm in the market.

Ned: You're falling for this guy, aren't you?

Alexis: What have I said here that would make you even think that, let alone say it?

Ned: You really don't see it?

Alexis: I can't see anything because I'm blind, I'm unappreciative, and apparently extremely paranoid.

Ned: You have another good man standing right there beside you, a man who, in my opinion, seems to genuinely care about you, and look what you're doing. You're finding fault, running away, just like always. Hell, all you need to do now is just flag down a semi.

Sonny: Carly didn't come on to you. She was drugged and you took advantage.

Ric: Faith ordered Fowler to rape her. I kept that from happening.

Sonny: So you could rape her yourself, Ric?

Ric: No, I didn't do anything, Sonny. I just took her clothes off and put her in bed. Nothing happened, really. I slept in a chair. When I woke up, I got undressed, I got in bed with her. I didn't have to do much else after that. I mean, Carly -- Carly already expects the worst of herself.

Sonny: You think that's funny? You didn't think Iíd kill you?

Ric: It's kind of a rush, actually. I knew that one night would poison your marriage, maybe even your life.

Sonny: But it didnít.

Ric: Oh? So what are we doing here, Sonny? Look at you, about to kill your own brother in cold blood over that one night.

Sonny: Well, I hope it was worth it.

Ric: You want to know what the irony is? I didn't have to do any of this. See, you wreck everything and everyone that you love on your own. You think you're so cold-blooded and ruthless, don't you, all-powerful, when truth is your only talent is for destruction.

Alexis: Thanks.

[laughter]

Cameron: Well, what did I say?

Woman: It's more the way you said it.

Cameron: I still don't see what's so amusing.

Woman: Oh, I'm glad you suggested dinner.

Cameron: I'm glad you saw the wisdom in my suggestion.

[Cameron and woman laugh]

Sonia: You are a beautiful dancer.

Summer: Hey, can you check your messages and see if Matt called?

Sonia: Sure.

Summer: Did you guys find anything?

Lucky: Look.

Sonia: They're here, all three of them, asking a lot of questions.

Nikolas: Where are they headed next?

Sonia: I don't know. I'm trying to find out as much information as I --

Luke: Matthew? Matt, is that you?

Courtney: Why do I have to stay overnight?

Doctor: We need to keep you here for observation. I'll go check on your room.

Courtney: Ok, thank you, Doctor.

Carly: Why haven't we heard from Sonny?

Courtney: Hey, Carly, Sonny knows how to handle Ric, and now he's got Jason for backup.

Carly: I just want this to be over with.

Sonny: You violated my wife, you blackmailed her. There are a thousand reasons why I should kill you. But what you did to Carly -- that's why you're going to die, Ric.

Ric: You wanted me dead before I was born, so go ahead, finish the job.

[door flies open]

Jason: Sonny, Courtneyís all right. Do it.

Ric: Do it.

Jason: Shoot him! Your sister could have died because of him!

Sonny: I can't do it.

Jason: I'll do it.

Ric: Ok, Sonny, tell him.

Sonny: No.

Ric: You'd better tell him. Sonny!

Sonny: That scum is my brother.

Jason: He isn't mine.

[Gunshot]

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Scott: Well, well, well. What have we got here, a crazy killer?

Bobbie: You know where Sonny is?

Carly: No. Not really.

Lucky: This coin matches the one you tried to steal from Wyndemere. You're not telling me everything.

Luke: Come on, man, talk to me.
