Emily: Zander, now what are you doing?

Zander: Getting rid of this junk! It'll kill you!

Emily: Zander!

Courtney: Fowler put something in your drink.

Carly: Fowler drugs my drink, you move in for the kill. It was a scam from the start.

Ric: No, no, Carly. Wait a minute, ok? Oh!

Sonny: Ric isn't who he says he is. He's hiding something.

Faith: If you hurt me, you will lose Courtney. That's what Sonny wants. Is that what you want? Did you see her face when you dragged me off? What are you going to tell her when she asks what happened to me?

Jason: She wonít.

Faith: If anything happens to me at all, Courtney will know that you did it. She thinks that she can handle that. But do you know that for sure? If you kill me, will she still love you?

Jason: Not your problem.

Faith: She will realize that you are damaged inside; like she said to you. She will know you are dead inside. She will be afraid of you. Your touch will make her skin crawl. When she looks in your eyes, she will see nothing.

Jason: You think this is going to save you?

Faith: Do you tell her that you're protecting her? That you're some man of honor? Do you think she buys that?

Jason: Courtney understands honor. You never will, Faith.

Lucky: "Found it. Will contact you to negotiate."

Summer: You don't have to read it again.

Lucky: Well, where did you get this?

Summer: Lucky, I never asked for your help.

Lucky: Did you get this at Wyndemere? Huh? Today? In the study? Why did you take this?

Summer: It's got my brother's handwriting on it.

Lucky: Well, why didn't you tell me?

Summer: Excuse me. I'm not on trial, ok?

Lucky: God. Do you have any idea where this post card is from? I mean, the postmark is all messed up.

Summer: Like I said, finding my brother's not your problem.

Lucky: So what do you want me to do? Quit? Want me to pack up and go home?

Summer: I'm beginning to think that I should handle this on my own.

Lucky: You don't want me around anymore?

[rustling in bushes]

Lucky: Go, go.

Luke: Well -- the happy campers.

Emily: Hey.

Zander: How you doing?

Emily: Um -- I'm -- Iím clean, if that's what you're asking.

Zander: It's not that easy, and you know that.

Emily: Come here. Can we just forget about this for one night?

Zander: I wish we could.

Emily: All right. Look, you want to go search my room? Go ahead.

Zander: I did.

Emily: Ok. You didn't find anything, right? Want to call some of your old friends and see if I made any connections?

Zander: I did. You didn't.

Emily: Ok. Because I don't need anything. I'm ok.

Zander: You can't be.

Emily: Thank you.

Zander: Emily, look at you. You're nervous. You're shaky. You've been jonesing all day, haven't you? And your family hasn't even noticed.

Emily: All right, don't tell them.

Zander: Ok, look, they're just so glad to have you home that they didn't even notice a thing, what's really going on.

Emily: You can't tell them. Did you tell them?

Zander: No. And I wonít.

Emily: Ok. You really won't or you won't if --

Zander: If you let me help you.

Emily: I don't need any help.

Zander: Emily, you're hooked on painkillers. You think you can give them up just like that?

Emily: Ok, just leave it alone.

Zander: No. Ok, look, you are in serious trouble, ok? And we are going to do something about it.

Carly: Where is Dr. Meadows?

Courtney: Do you want me to go ask again?

Carly: No. Because they'll just say that she's been delayed and she will be here shortly -- again.

Courtney: Well, at least it gives Sonny more time to show up.

Carly: Which is what I'm afraid of.

Courtney: Wait. You don't want him here?

Carly: For the amnio, yeah, of course I do. But if he finds out that I ordered a paternity test behind his back --

Courtney: Dr. Meadows -- she agreed to do it without telling him?

Carly: I brought in a sample of Sonny's hair. She's going to compare it with the amniotic fluid.

Courtney: So you'll feel better once you know.

Carly: No, I will feel better if it's Sonny's. It has to be Sonny's. Of course it's Sonny's.

Courtney: Carly, Carly --

Carly: It can't be Ric's --

Courtney: You need to calm down.

Carly: Well, you know what? Either way, I have to tell Sonny.

Courtney: Just don't think about that right now.

Carly: I'm so dumb. I should have told him before.

Courtney: Hey, Sonny wasn't in a place where he could deal with it.

Carly: Well, he's in a place now, and he needs to know how dangerous Ric is.

Sonny: Did you even try to stop Jason?

Greg: There was nothing I could do.

Sonny: So you just let him grab Faith and disappear? What's wrong with you?

Ric: Look, is there something that I could do?

Sonny: Like stop Jason from killing Faith Rosco before she gives up her silent partner?

Ric: I can try.

Sonny: What makes you think you can do something nobody can? Did they teach you that part in Harvard?

Ric: It's just a suggestion, Sonny.

Sonny: Jason won't listen to me. What makes you think he's going to listen to you? Ok, you know what? Out. Both of you. You're wasting my time.

Ric: Listen, we got to do something about this.

Greg: Sonny and Jason are in the middle of a power struggle. And it's trouble we do not need.

Ric: Yeah, but Jason is completely out of control.

Sonny: Ric's on his way. You know what to do next.

Jason: Consider it done.

Zander: I'm taking you to rehab.

Emily: No.

Zander: Tonight. I found a place on the Canadian border.

Emily: Look, I need to deal with this on my own.

Zander: I can get a motel. I can stay close. We're going to tell your family we're going on a driving trip, going cross-country to California.

Emily: Ok, I am not going to rehab. I just got home, all right?

Zander: Now, wait a second. Emily, look, Iím not going to stand by and watch you kill yourself.

Emily: All right, you think you're such an expert on drugs, huh? Just because you sold a few, you got high at a couple of raves?

Zander: You want to compare overdoses? Is that it?

Emily: All right, do you know what it's like to see your dad fall apart, hmm? To watch a wonderful man turn into a liar, into a thief? All for a bottle of pills?

Emily: I used to lay awake at night and wonder if he was sleeping on the streets. I had to visit him in jail.

Zander: Ok, Emily, look, that's why we got to stop this now.

Emily: All right, stay out of it.

Zander: You started using early, ok? That means your chances of getting clean are slim, but if we get you into a place --

Emily: You have no idea what you're talking about.

Zander: Ok, ok, take it easy. All right?

Emily: Ok, just get out.

Zander: Ok, look, look, I'm not letting you go through this withdrawal on your own.

Emily: I am not in withdrawal.

Zander: Ok, then what, you got a stash somewhere?

Emily: Ok, please, just get out of here.

Zander: Ok, look, I'm helping you go through with this.

Emily: Ok, look, I spent a long time in the hospital. There is no possible way that Iím going into rehab.

Zander: Ok, look, the longer we wait, the worse it's going to make it, ok? But if we get you into rehab, that makes it safer, ok? No matter what it takes, we have to do this right now.

Emily: I'm not going anywhere with you!

Zander: Emily, look at me. I love you!

Emily: Get the hell out of my room!

Luke: Nice job with the fire.

Lucky: Thanks.

Luke: Hardly any smoke at all.

Lucky: Yeah, how did you find us?

Luke: Luck, mostly. So, what are you doing here? Apart from the obvious.

Lucky: When Nikolas found us in the house, a cop chased us. We grabbed a boat.

Summer: Yeah, but then he got too close to us, so we had to ditch the boat and swim to shore.

Luke: Nice work.

Lucky: Thanks.

Luke: You know about the restraining order?

Lucky: Yeah, Nikolas filled me in.

Luke: I should have burned that compost heap down the other day.

Lucky: Dad, it's still a bad idea.

Luke: I may yet.

Summer: You guys, seriously, you don't have to get involved. Either one of you.

Luke: You want to take the Cassadines on yourself?

Summer: I just want to find my brother. I don't want to get involved in your fight.

Luke: Well, then why did you drag him into it? Not that you aren't making it worth his while.

Summer: It's just not too late to cut your losses is all Iím saying.

Luke: And how do you see this, Romeo?

Lucky: Summer needs help whether she'll admit it or not. And I'm not letting Nikolas call the shots anymore.

Luke: Did you find anything in the house?

Lucky: Yeah, Matt sent --

Summer: No, don't show him that!

Lucky: Why not?

Summer: I got to protect my brother.

Luke: From what? The spawn?

Summer: No. From you.

Faith: I have all kinds of dirt on the five families. You want to hear it? Do you have any idea what Sammy Tagliati does when he's in New York City? Do you -- if Sonny wanted me dead, you would have shot me by now.

Jason: Maybe.

Faith: Why did you drag me all the way out here? Tell me what you want.

Carly: Sonny's suspicious. He told me Ricís got some big secret.

Courtney: Maybe it's about work.

Carly: I doubt it. Ric's got this nasty little way of dropping hints everywhere, and Sonny's too smart not to pick up on it.

Courtney: Well, hopefully, Sonny will understand. You were drugged, and Ric took advantage of the situation, Carly.

Carly: Ric did not drag me into Jakeís that night.

Courtney: Yeah, but you were there because you saw Sonny kissing another woman. You were upset. You had every right to be.

Carly: No. I should have seen the setup.

Courtney: Ok, how could you?

Carly: Because Ricís an opportunist. I knew it, and I gave him the opening.

Courtney: Ric made a choice. He took advantage. He raped you, Carly.

Carly: I should have seen it. I should have seen it coming.

Courtney: Why?

Carly: Because I'm an opportunist, too. From way back.

Courtney: You're blaming yourself?

Carly: Courtney, you know why I came to town, right? To break up my mother's marriage? And I did it, too. I married Tony. I moved in with him. I ripped my mother's world apart. Didn't care about Lucas. Didn't care about their feelings. And I caused real damage. And my mom and Lucas -- they eventually -- they forgave me. But Tony went crazy, and I don't think he ever got over it. And what did I do it for? Why? Because I wanted something, and I got what I wanted? I -- Ricís just like me.

Courtney: No, no, he isn't.

Carly: Yes, he is. He wants something, Courtney, and he's not going to stop until he gets it, and I should have seen it. But what did I do? I was nice to him. I invited him into my own home. What was I thinking?

Courtney: Well, Ric -- he seemed like a nice guy when we first met him.

Carly: Eventually, I would have screwed these things up on my own anyway. I can't blame him.

Courtney: Don't -- don't say that.

Carly: It's true. Because I was happy, and I am no good at happy. I'm terrible at it. Just ask Jason.

Courtney: You're getting yourself all upset.

Carly: I love this baby, Courtney, no matter who the father is.

Sonny: Hi.

Carly: Hey.

Faith: One more time. What are we doing here?

Jason: Waiting.

Faith: For what? Tell me what you want, Jason. What is it? What is it? Is it money? Something physical?

Jason: From you?

Faith: You wouldn't be sorry. Tell me what you need.

Jason: Nothing.

Faith: Well, then what are we waiting for?

Jason: The rescue.

Faith: Who would rescue me?

Jason: Your silent partner

Ric: Greg, we need to help Sonny with this.

Greg: Benny warned me never, ever get between Sonny and Jason.

Ric: Yeah, but Jason is out of control and Sonny doesn't trust him anymore.

Greg: That's not our problem.

Ric: Really? Greg, can you imagine Jason running around wild on the docks, you know, doing whatever he wants to? I mean, he if he's willing to snatch Faith Rosco, who knows what he'll do next. You saw Sonny tonight. He's furious. But if I get a chance to just see Jason, Iíll speak with him, I can calm him down.

Greg: Jason doesn't like you.

Ric: Where's the safe house, Greg?

Greg: You can't go out there.

Ric: Well, somebody's got to do something here.

Greg: Now, why should I tell you anything, huh?

Ric: Because I'm Sonny's lawyer and I'm asking. Are you covering for Jason, huh? How do you think Sonny's going to feel about that?

Greg: I'm not supposed to give out that information.

Ric: Look, if Jason kills Faith, Greg, all bets are off. I mean, I'll try to keep your name out of it, but if Sonny asks me, I don't know if I'll be able to tell him that you did help me throughout this whole thing.

Ric: Thanks.

Greg: Jason won't like it.

Ric: He'll get over it.

Greg: Yeah. But maybe you wonít. Have you ever seen Jason work?

Ric: I'll take my chances.

Greg: You must have a death wish.

Elizabeth: So, which gallery do you want to hit first?

Ric: Now?

Elizabeth: Yeah. I called around. Some of them are open late. We have plans, don't we?

Ric: I -- I can't do it tonight.

Elizabeth: Why?

Ric: There's a lot of things going on.

Elizabeth: You're upset, aren't you?

Ric: Yeah, kind of.

Elizabeth: Well, is there something I can do to help?

Ric: Yeah. Yeah, maybe if we can maybe go back to my place and drink champagne all night or take a walk along the docks until dawn. Maybe go by a gallery and pick up some really cool paintings and show your portfolio around. You'd actually feel much better in your own studio, wouldn't you?

Elizabeth: What's wrong?

Ric: I wasn't supposed to find anything real. At least not in Port Charles. But here you are. It's kind of a good news-bad news thing.

Elizabeth: What happened?

Ric: The good news is I found you. The bad news is that I might not live through the night.

Luke: What makes you think you have to protect your brother from me?

Summer: Matt will do almost anything for money. And, now, I'm not judging him, but it is possible that Nikolas has involved him in this whole Laura thing.

Luke: Do you know where this post card is from?

Summer: Will you promise not to hurt my brother?

Luke: At this point, I can't promise anything.

Summer: Then I can handle it on my own.

Lucky: Look, do you have any idea how dangerous the Cassadines are?

Luke: It looks Mediterranean, maybe even Greek. What do you think?

Summer: You know what? Just give me the card. Just --

Luke: Have you ever been here?

Lucky: I'll make sure your brother doesn't get hurt. I promise.

Summer: It's called Marbella.

Luke: And you know where it is? How to get there?

Summer: Matt told me once.

Lucky: Do you think your brother is there now?

Summer: Well, I'm afraid that he might be there being held hostage by Nikolas.

Luke: Naturally. That's what Cassadines do best.

Summer: And of course, it's all my fault because I didn't -- well, you and I didn't end up the way Nikolas wanted us.

Luke: Yeah, that could be. Now, he mentions "negotiate" here. That sounds like he thinks he has the upper hand.

Summer: Luke, I don't know what's going on. I just want to find him.

[dogs bark]

Luke: That would be your basic hounds from hell.

Lucky: We got to get out of here!

Luke: Give me your jacket.

Lucky: The decoy run?

Luke: Yeah. I'll keep the dogs busy, and you get back to the mainland.

Lucky: Are you sure?

Luke: Look, you want to run with the dogs, and Iíll take her dancing?

Lucky: Good point.

Summer: I know, I know, I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying.

Lucky: Come on, come on.

Luke: Go, go.

Emily: Me lo tiro todo. Ya no tengo mas? No. Si, esta noche. Necesito mas. No, enviame mas. Me lo tiro todo. Envia -- enviame mas por -- enviame mas.

[knock on door]

Sonny: You all right?

Carly: Yeah. Just a little nervous.

Sonny: I was afraid Iíd missed it.

Courtney: I'm glad you made it on time.

Carly: Dr. Meadows had an emergency.

Sonny: I'm glad you're here with her.

Courtney: So you'll let me know how it goes?

Carly: Yeah, I sure will.

Sonny: Thanks again.

Courtney: Ok.

Sonny: Hey. I got here as quick as I could, you know.

Carly: It's ok.

Sonny: Why you all tense?

Carly: I told you, I'm nervous.

Sonny: Well, then should I get the doctor?

Carly: No, just -- just stay here with me, ok?

Sonny: The baby's all right.

Carly: I know.

Sonny: Are you hurting? Are you hurting?

Carly: No, no, it's nothing like that, ok?

Sonny: Is your blood pressure ok?

Carly: Yeah, they took it when they gave me the sexy nightie.

Sonny: I think it actually looks kind of cute.

Carly: So now you're going to lie to me?

Sonny: I did not realize that the amnio got you so upset.

Carly: It's not just that.

Sonny: Do you want to tell me what's going on?

Carly: I love this baby.

Sonny: This baby is going to be all right. The baby's fine.

Carly: I wanted this baby so much. I wanted us to have a baby together, and maybe it was selfish because I know how afraid you are.

Sonny: No, no, I'm not afraid. I'm not afraid anymore. I know our baby's going to be healthy and he's going to live a good life. You know why? Because we're his parents. We will love him and fight for him no matter what.

Carly: I love you, Sonny.

Sonny: Then don't worry. Isn't that what you always say to me?

Sonny: What?

Dr. Meadows: My apologies for the wait. Are you ready for the amnio?

Faith: Even if I had a silent partner, which I don't, how would he know where to find me?

Jason: So your partner's a man?

Faith: Try to grasp this concept -- there is no partner.

Jason: He shot you before. Maybe this time, he'll get it right.

Faith: What do you mean, this time? I'm the target.

Jason: Very good. It took you long enough to figure it out.

Faith: That's why we're waiting here. My partner thinks that Iím going to -- there's no partner!

Jason: Sit down.

Faith: No one is going to show up!

Jason: Sit down!

Jason: Then you got nothing to worry about, do you?

Elizabeth: Tell me what happened.

Ric: Something went terribly wrong.

Elizabeth: With Jason and Sonny?

Ric: Yeah.

Elizabeth: You're in a fight with them, aren't you?

Ric: Well, it's more like a difference of perception.

Elizabeth: Oh, no, Ric. No, they don't think like that. If you cross them -- please tell me you didn't cross Sonny Corinthos.

Ric: No, I didn't. Look, I -- well, I don't think I did. But --

Elizabeth: Ok, you know what? You need to leave town tonight. You need drive straight to the city. You need to disappear.

Ric: No, I knew who I was getting involved with. Look, I canít. I can't walk away now.

Elizabeth: Well, why? Why does it matter?

Ric: Elizabeth, listen to me, listen to me. You're the most truthful part of my life. Do you know that? You made me -- you made me believe there was good in people again.

Elizabeth: Ric, you're scaring me.

Ric: I don't deserve -- I don't deserve to wake up next to you. I don't deserve to look at you across the room. You're so beautiful.

Elizabeth: Don't do this. Don't do this.

Ric: Do you realize --

Elizabeth: Just stay. Just stay with me, please.

Ric: You have made me happier than I ever thought I deserved to be.

Lucky: Can you believe that guy at the launch?

Summer: Was he really chasing us?

Lucky: I don't know. You want to go back and ask him?

Summer: No. I'm just glad we found a boat.

Lucky: It was almost too easy, wasn't it?

Summer: Do you think your dad's ok?

Lucky: You know what? Don't worry about him. He's got them running.

Summer: You're sure? You're sure?

Lucky: Yes, Iím positive. But we've got to figure out our next move.

Summer: Look, I can take this from here, ok? I can handle it.

Lucky: What, you don't want me to help you find Matt?

Summer: Why? Why do you want to?

Lucky: Because I've been a lost brother once. I know what it feels like to wait, to hope against hope that your family will show up, to dream of home.

Summer: You know what? You don't even know my brother.

Lucky: You know, I can't even help my mother or my dad. You know what? Who cares? I know I can do this. We can either work together or separately. But either way, I'm going to find Matt.

Sonny: You ok, Carly?

Carly: Yeah.

Dr. Meadows: This won't take long.

Sonny: So, does everything look all right, doc?

Dr. Meadows: So far, so good.

Carly: You know Iím getting a pizza out of this.

Sonny: You think so, huh?

Carly: Yes, and cheese puffs.

Sonny: That's a little salty, don't you think, doctor?

Dr. Meadows: Hmm, pizza's high in calcium. Didn't you know that?

Carly: See? Doctor's orders.

Dr. Meadows: And we are finished.

Sonny: So, when do you think we can get the test results?

Dr. Meadows: Tonight, if we're lucky.

Sonny: Oh, that's great, that's great.

Carly: I'll stay. I'll stay.

Sonny: You ok with that?

Carly: Yeah. As long as I can get out of the gown.

Sonny: Is she going to have to be admitted tonight or --

Dr. Meadows: No, I don't think that's necessary. Just rest a while. And her pressure is normal, but we do need to check it before you leave.

Carly: Ok. You don't have to stay, sweetie.

Sonny: Are you sure about that?

Carly: Yeah. You go. Just be safe, ok?

Sonny: I won't be late. Ok? You did real good.

Carly: Thanks.

Sonny: You did, too. All right. Bye.

Dr. Meadows: Bye.

[door opens and closes]

Carly: I've got the -- the hair samples.

Dr. Meadows: You do realize you're pushing it here?

Carly: I appreciate it.

Dr. Meadows: You know, I'm concerned about you, Carly. I mean, your life seems so chaotic.

Carly: Well, it's a lot more calm than it used to be, Dr. Meadows.

Dr. Meadows: I'll put a rush on everything.

Carly: Ok, there's not going to be any names anywhere, right?

Dr. Meadows: Just numbers. Don't worry.

Carly: Dr. Meadows?

Dr. Meadows: Hmm?

Carly: Thank you.

Dr. Meadows: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: All right. Yeah. No. All right, Iíll see you later.

Courtney: How's Carly?

Sonny: She's nervous.

Courtney: But she's ok now?

Sonny: Well, I mean, yeah, she's waiting for the test results. Can you sit with her?

Courtney: Yeah, I was planning to.

Sonny: Thanks.

Courtney: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: You know, I don't want my little sister breaking into rooms.

Courtney: Jason told you.

Sonny: Yeah, well, you know, I like to know when my sister is doing dangerous things.

Courtney: Is Jason ok? I mean, tonight?

Sonny: He's working.

Courtney: Yeah. Jason would do anything for you. So would Carly. They both love you very much. They see a man in you that I guess I just -- I haven't seen yet.

Sonny: Did I miss something?

Courtney: No, I just -- I hope that the man they both love turns out to be who you really are.

Lucky: Ok, do you think you can leave tonight?

Summer: Can you?

Lucky: I just need to make a few phone calls, pick up a few things.

Summer: You're determined to do this, aren't you?

Lucky: What, you want me to stop?

Summer: Not a chance.

Lucky: Ok. You know what? I've tangled with the Cassadines. I know how my brother thinks.

Summer: Then let's do it.

Lucky: All right, you know what? We just -- we need to get some cash. Come on.

Officer: Are you sure you saw them?

Second Officer: Lucky Spencer hangs out here a lot. He lives upstairs.

First officer: D.A. Baldwin's going to love this A.P.B.

Summer: A.P.B.? Can Nikolas do that?

Lucky: We just got to get out of here. Come on.

Faith: This little plan of yours isn't going to work. Nobody's going to come because there is nobody. You see how that works? What are you doing?

Jason: Your partner needs a clean shot at the back of your head.

Faith: No, no, no! No, no, no, no! No, no! Please. No, no, no, no, no.

Zander: Emily?

Emily: What happened?

Zander: It's ok now.

Emily: You came back? Ok. How did I get in the hospital?

Zander: You passed out again.

Emily: Ok. Get me out of here.

Zander: Whoa, Emily, calm down.

Emily: No, my parents can't know about this.

Zander: Ok, well, they already know.

Emily: Did you tell them?

Zander: No, your mom found you passed out in your room. She called me.

Emily: Ok, did you tell her anything?

Zander: No. But I think I'm going to have to.

Emily: Ok, just tell her that I forgot to eat.

Zander: Emily, I won't cover for you.

Emily: Ok, what about all the times I lied for you, huh, protected you?

Zander: Whoa, whoa, whoa, ok. You were trying to save my life. Now I'm trying to save yours.

Emily: Ok, well, just help me think of a good story.

Zander: It won't help.

Emily: Ok. Ok, I'll -- I'll have to think of something. Just back me up.

Zander: Emily -- Emily, you need help.

Emily: Ok, you can take me to rehab. We'll do anything you want. Just back me up with whatever I say to my mother, ok?

Zander: Look at me. I can't do that.

Emily: All right, then leave.

Monica: Did she wake up?

Zander: For a second.

Monica: Emily? Sweetie?

Emily: Hey. Mom.

Monica: Ok. How are you feeling?

Emily: Can you believe that I forgot to eat?

Monica: Is that what happened?

Emily: Yeah, it's no big deal.

Zander: Tell her the truth, Em.

Emily: Zander's all worried, but you know how he is, Mom.

Monica: Do you remember passing out?

Emily: Yeah, kind of.

Zander: If you want to get better, Em, you got to tell the truth.

Emily: Hey, look, I'm so tired. Just please tell Zander that he needs to go home.

Zander: Emily passed out because she's on drugs.

Summer: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Where did you get an S.U.V.?

Lucky: It's a photographer friend's. He's out of town.

Summer: What about your dad?

Lucky: He's probably already at the club.

Summer: You think so?

Lucky: Well, if he isn't, we'll just leave a note, and we'll just grab some cash.

Luke: Are we there yet?

Zander: I walked in on Emily shooting up.

Emily: No, he didnít.

Zander: She's getting drugs from Mexico. They're some sort of painkillers. I'm just not sure what kind.

Emily: All right, just please make him go away.

Zander: Emily, Iím sorry.

Emily: All right, just go!

Zander: I love you.

Emily: Look, Mom, I've already stopped, ok? I promise. Just let me go home, all right? I don't need any more tests.

Monica: I had them fax your medical records from Stanford.

Emily: Ok.

Monica: I know you have cancer.

[phone rings]

Ricís voice: Hi. You've reached Ric Lansing. Leave a message.

[answering machine beeps]

Elizabeth: Hey, Ric, it's me. Look, I'm really concerned about you. Just be careful, ok? I don't know, you left so quickly, I didn't get a chance to say I love you.

Carly: So, why do you keep checking your messages?

Courtney: Just curious. No one called.

Carly: No one like Jason?

Courtney: Yeah. It's driving me crazy.

Carly: Well, he's probably just out working.

Courtney: Something is going on with Faith right now.

Carly: Try not to think about it, then.

Courtney: Well, it's kind of hard.

Carly: Well, I might have to move in with Jason if Sonny kicks me out.

Courtney: Sonny is not going to kick you out.

Carly: Although, I could move in with my mother. Although, that would probably only last about five minutes, so Jasonís probably more compatible. But there's nothing romantic going on between us ever anymore, so I don't want you --

Courtney: Hey. The only thing that you have to worry about is Ric.

Carly: No, Ric is not a problem anymore.

Dr. Meadows: The lab outdid itself.

Carly: Oh, thank you.

Dr. Meadows: The amnio looks fine. The results are all normal, and you have a perfectly healthy baby.

Courtney: What did I tell you?

Dr. Meadows: And the other results are in, too.

Carly: I appreciate all your help.

Dr. Meadows: I'll be in touch.

Carly: Thanks.

[door closes]

Carly: Is that the paternity results.

Courtney: Open it.

Carly: I -- I can't. You open it.

Sonny: Hey! Hey!

Ric: Sonny.

Sonny: Faith's silent partner. We finally meet.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Zander: Emily's back on drugs.

Emily: I don't want to hear that I have breast cancer! I don't want to hear this again!

Courtney: Sonny adores you. He'll understand that what happened wasn't your fault.

Sonny: There's only one thing you get to say before I take you out. Why did you do it?
