>> Previously on "General Hospital" --
Alexis: What if I can't fool the experts? They'll take away my daughter forever.
Vera: I'm Vera Cooper. The other nanny has the flu.
Ned: Why wasn't I notified?
Edward: Well, I've done my job. Now you do yours.
Benny: Sonny needs you.
Jason: Benny, Benny, Benny? Benny!
Ric: This could push him to reconcile with Jason unless we stop Jason first.
Jason: His heart gave out.
Sonny: You're the one who should have been here.
Jason: You're right.
Sonny: You know why I couldn't send you.
Jason: You know what, we need to find a way to work together before something else happens.
Sonny: Before somebody else dies? Like Carly or Courtney?
Ric: The rift between Sonny and Jason is growing wider.
Faith: Benny's death could bring them back together.
Ric: Or it could drive them further apart.
Faith: No chance your confidence is a little over-inflated?
Ric: Look, Sonny is the kind of man who doesn't like to admit when he's wrong. He has made a decision about Jason. My job is to make sure that decision remains a permanent one.
Faith: Okay, let me just play devil's advocate for a second here.
Ric: Oh, so to speak.
Faith: So funny. Okay, what if Benny's death makes Sonny realize that his organization is on shaky ground, that he needs his most loyal people around him, Jason being at the top of the list?
Ric: No, I'm going to use the chaos in Sonny's organization to drive the wedge deeper between he and Jason.
Faith: And if you can't?
Ric: I have a foolproof alternative. I'll go after Jason's girlfriend.
Courtney: Have -- have you seen Ric?
Elizabeth: Why are you looking for him?
Courtney: I just wanted to ask him something.
Elizabeth: Did you bake him more cookies, let him know how grateful you are for saving Sonny?
Carly: Courtney, hey. Perfect timing. I need to talk to you about some stuff to do with the club. Excuse me.
Courtney: Jason got a call. He didn't say from who, but he just grabbed his gun and he left.
Carly: Jason knows how to protect himself.
Courtney: Yeah, but, Carly, what if he's walking into an ambush?
Carly: Then he'll get himself out of it.
Courtney: You're worried, too. That's why you were upstairs, isn't it? You were checking to see if Ric knew anything about what's going on.
Carly: Well, Ric's not here. He's not answering his cell phone, either.
Courtney: I doubt Sonny or Jason would confide in him anyway.
Carly: No, but it's not going to stop Ric, though. I'm sure he will be sniffing around, kissing up to Sonny with his oh-so-helpful advice, making suggestions --
Courtney: What is going on between you and Ric?
Lucky: All right, what happened?
Luke: It's Nikolas. He's finally shown his true colors as a Cassadine.
Lucky: I haven't heard that in a while. What did he do?
Luke: Well, somehow he's weaseled power of attorney over Laura, which means he thinks he's in charge of her healthcare and I'm out of the loop.
Lucky: You've got a problem.
Luke: Yeah, I know. We've both got a problem.
Lucky: No, what I mean is I think Nikolas is right.
[Judge pounds gavel]
Judge: Order! Order!
Scott: It's a simple question, Alexis.
Alexis: [As Kristina] You think if you keep calling me Alexis, it's going to turn me back into Alexis? If you want to --
Alan: This does not look good for Alexis.
[Judge pounds gavel]
Alexis: You know what, Your Honor? I think he's a colossal bore, and I'm not interested in talking to him anymore.
Scott: Who found Alcazar's body in the alley?
Alexis: What alley?
Scott: Who screamed? Was it you or your sister?
Scott: Now, when does she take over, and when do you go away?
Cameron: Your Honor, he's hurting my patient.
Scott: Who wrote on Ric Lansing’s mirror, you or your sister? Who dragged the baby out of town?
Alexis: Alexis loves her baby.
Scott: Oh, yeah? Well, what happens to the baby when you just disappear? Who takes care of the baby? Aunt Bea? Mr. French? Who?
Dara: Your Honor --
Scott: Your Honor, this is ridiculous. She's as sane as anybody here in the courtroom. This is a waste of time. This is a joke! I'm not even going to bother with this any longer.
Alexis: You bastard!
[Judge pounds gavel]
Judge: Order! Order!
Zander: Dad! Dad!
Alexis: You're hypocrites, all of you! You're blaming me for doing what you wanted done. He had to die, otherwise he would've killed Alexis and her baby the way he killed me!
Scott: Your Honor, do not call a recess. That's conceding that she's insane, and she is not. Let me put her back up on the stand, cross-examine her. I will prove it to you. She's faking. She's acting here.
Alexis: You're the one I want. It's your fault! You should pay for what you've done!
Alexis: You bastard! You bastard!
[Judge pounds gavel]
Alexis: Let me go!
Alan: If you hadn't put up your hand, she would've stabbed Baldwin. She might've killed him.
Cameron: I'll be fine.
Monica: Well, it is a superficial wound, but I'd still like to have it checked out at the hospital.
Cameron: I can't leave Alexis.
Alexis: Your Honor, it's Scott Baldwin’s fault that Alcazar wasn't convicted. He should've convicted him, and he set him free to terrorize all of us. And you can't lock my sister up for something she didn't do because I was just protecting her. Someone needed to protect her.
Scott: Your Honor, we need to continue. There's no reason for a recess.
Judge: The defendant is in an agitated state.
Scott: That's what she wants us to believe. This split personality, this D.I.D. -- it's just an act!
Judge: I'm not convinced.
Scott: Well, I am. Let me put her up there. Let me continue.
Cameron: Your Honor, I need to attend to my patient.
Scott: Your Honor, this is unheard of.
Cameron: I need to talk her down before anything else happens.
Judge: All right. Let the doctor attend to his patient.
Cameron: Thank you. I need you to step back. You're making her feel threatened.
Cameron: Are you all right, Kristina?
Alexis: Everybody's very angry.
Cameron: I'm not angry. I know you were just trying to protect Alexis. I promise you, I'm not going to hurt her. I'm not going to let anyone else hurt her. I'm your friend. I'm here to help you.
Alexis: [As herself] I'm really sorry about your hand. I didn't mean to do that.
Cameron: That's all right, Kristina.
Scott: Your Honor, may I proceed?
Jax: Your Honor, I'm sorry. It must be clear to everyone that Alexis is too ill to go on.
Scott: Oh, sit down. That's what she wants us to think.
Jax: If the D.A. goes after her again, she could have a breakdown.
Judge: You're not an attorney. You have no voice in these proceedings. Sit down or you will be held in contempt!
Jax: I have nothing but contempt for a decision to let this harassment go on.
Judge: Remove this man until he can get himself under control.
Jax: Yeah, you can remove me from the courtroom, but you know I'm right!
Judge: Is Ms. Davis ready?
Cameron: Your Honor, may I have a moment?
Judge: Approach the bench.
Cameron: She's calm, but I'm unable to get the Kristina personality to retreat.
Scott: That's what that little powwow was about? She's having fun with this Kristina act. She's chewing up the scenery, Your Honor.
Dara: Mr. Baldwin, your attitude is wearing thin.
Judge: Let Dr. Lewis finish his thought.
Cameron: I'm unable to get Alexis back, and that worries me. In the past, I've always been able to convince the Kristina personality to withdraw. If Mr. Baldwin is allowed to continue, I'd like permission to intervene in the event she feels threatened again.
Scott: Well, that's fine with me, Your Honor, because this charade will be over no matter who she claims to be.
Dara: Your Honor, Mr. Baldwin is showing a disturbing and dangerous lack of concern for the defendant's condition.
Judge: Possibly. But at present, Ms. Davis seems to have pulled herself together. I'll allow cross-examination.
Lucky: I got another letter from London. Mom's doctors are really concerned about your involvement in her care.
Luke: And how do you know Nikolas didn't engineer that letter?
Lucky: Dad, the doctors are trying to do the best they can.
Luke: Look, they don't want me to see her. Okay, I get that. I can stay away. But I'll be damned if I'm not going to be consulted about what they can and cannot do to her.
Lucky: Dad, you're not exactly being objective.
Luke: Lucky, nobody knows your mother like I do. Nobody knows how she feels and what she thinks.
Lucky: Dad, nobody knows what Mom thinks anymore. The doctors are trying to do the best they can.
Luke: Those doctors are idiots. They haven't done a damn thing for her since she was put in that place.
Lucky: Well, Nikolas is staying in charge, okay? I'm just trying to do what's right for Mom.
Luke: Oh, I see. And how much of this has to do with Summer? What is this, a payback?
Carly: I know that Ric comes across as some overachieving Ivy Leaguer who's earnest and ambitious, but --
Courtney: Well, I mean, yeah, he seems pretty aggressive about what he wants.
Carly: No, he's cold-blooded and he's ruthless.
Courtney: So why do you keep him on as the club's lawyer?
Carly: Um -- because he's got something on me.
Carly: It doesn't matter, Courtney. It's not important. But just be careful around the guy, okay?
Courtney: Carly, I can see this is really upsetting you. That's not good for you or the baby. If there's anything that I can do --
Carly: There isn't, Courtney. There's nothing anyone can do. I have to deal with this on my own.
Courtney: You went out of your way to be kind and thoughtful to me, I mean, even when I was throwing you all kinds of attitude and insisting on defending A.J.
Carly: Everyone's entitled to some mistakes, Courtney, you know? You're good for Jason, too, so why shouldn't I be nice to you?
Courtney: You -- you let me confide in you about Jason. Maybe you'd feel better if you confided in me about this. Sometimes problems seem a lot bigger when you keep them locked up inside.
Carly: I just -- I don't want to say it out loud because it makes it real and it gives it power, you know?
Courtney: If you don't want to tell me, it's okay. I understand.
Carly: I slept with Ric.
Faith: Jason's girlfriend also is Sonny's sister.
Faith: Going after her is walking into a minefield.
Ric: Yeah, well, the trick is to make sure that Jason is the one who gets damaged here, not Courtney.
Faith: Jason is a professional. You mess with someone he cares about, and he will go after you.
Ric: Sounds like we're speaking from personal experience.
Faith: Yeah. Let's just say I have looked into his eyes, okay? There is nothing there. This guy doesn't give a damn.
Ric: Yeah, and think about it, now. If that's the way he feels about you, how do you think he feels about Sonny, huh? How long has he worked for Sonny? He's done everything he's ever asked, followed every word to the t. If I were Jason right about now, I'd be sick of it. I'd be looking to get even with Sonny, all right? He just needs somebody to push him.
Ric: Maybe? Let me tell you something about human nature, Faith. When you see someone else get what you want, when you watch somebody walk away with something that should've been yours and they don't even value it, you tend to become a little bitter. Now, I don't care how loyal somebody is. Somewhere deep inside all of us is this need to be number one, and we don't stop until we get it.
Faith: Are we talking about Jason or are we talking about you?
Ric: I'd love to sit here and chat, but I'm sure that the cops are all over Jason and Sonny. I have to go manage the situation.
Faith: Oh, yeah, run along and make yourself a little more points with Sonny?
Ric: No, no, no, I have to go make myself indispensable. See, it's all part of the plan. Trust me.
Jason: Man, Benny said he was fully recovered from that heart attack. I mean, there's no way that anyone could've known --
Sonny: They left him here to die, Jason.
Jason: Sonny, the five families know that you just lost your accountant, the guy that had your business in his head. There's going to be a fallout. If you need my help for Benny's sake --
Sonny: Marco says -- shh. Marco said he fell on his way out of the meeting.
Jason: Yeah, he fell, I came here. It was too late. I couldn't do anything.
Sonny: Well, a lot of people are dying of natural causes -- Faith's grandmother, the hit woman they hired. Right?
Jason: Faith didn't do this.
Sonny: How do you know? How do you know?
Jason: Because Marco said that Benny was under a lot of stress lately. He was tense. He --
Sonny: Shh, shh.
Taggert: So you're saying this was an accident?
Jason: I'm just saying that Benny had a history of medical problems, Taggert, and he was collapsed when I got here.
Sonny: He had a heart attack a while ago. He was treated at General Hospital. His records can back it up.
Taggert: Okay. That's Benny's problems. What about yours, Sonny?
Sonny: I lost a good friend and a trusted employee. There's nothing you can help me out with.
Taggert: There's something going on, Sonny, a change of power. You're vulnerable.
Sonny: And you're trying to get to me, aren't you? Aren't you?
Taggert: I can sense it, Sonny --
Taggert: Which means your enemies can. The vultures are circling and they're looking for blood. Yours.
Carly: You remember the night of The Cellar opened and I told you I saw Sonny kissing Brenda on the docks?
Courtney: You were sure that Sonny was going to ask you for a divorce. I mean, Carly, you were so upset, you left early.
Carly: Yeah, and I went to Jake’s. I just wanted to numb myself. I wanted to -- to shut out the world just for a little bit, and everyone, and just stop thinking. I had a drink -- one drink, maybe two -- and then Ric showed up, and then next thing I know, we ended up in a hotel. I have no idea how I got there. I don't even remember leaving Jake’s. And then I wake up in bed with him the next morning.
Courtney: You thought that Sonny was leaving you.
Carly: Don't be nice about it. It was horrifying.
Courtney: Carly, come on. We all make mistakes. You're back with Sonny now. It's all behind you.
Carly: It isn't because Ric keeps blackmailing me with it.
Courtney: How? What does he want?
Carly: He keeps pushing me to get Sonny to hire him as his permanent lawyer, his full-time lawyer.
Courtney: Well, would Sonny even do that?
Carly: He doesn't trust Ric as far as he can throw him, and nothing that I say is going to change that. But he just keeps dropping these little hints that he's going to tell Sonny about that night.
Courtney: Carly, you have to take away his power. You have to be honest with Sonny and tell him what happened.
Carly: No, Courtney, don’t. You can't tell him. Sonny can never, ever find out.
Courtney: Are you afraid that this could be Ric's baby?
Max: I have to go. There's been trouble.
Courtney: Is Jason all right?
Max: Sonny and Jason are fine. The police are questioning them now.
Carly: Why? What happened?
Max: Everything's under control. I just talked to Ric, and he's on his way over to deal with it.
Sonny: We're finished here.
Taggert: I have questions. Now, we can do this down at the station, or you can make it easy on yourself and do it right here, right now.
Sonny: Make it quick, Taggert.
Taggert: Did Faith Rosco have anything to do with Benny's death?
Sonny: Do I have to repeat myself? Benny had a heart attack!
Taggert: So you're saying it was just a coincidence that Benny's death happened right after you threatened Faith?
Sonny: Did I do that?
Taggert: Faith Rosco went to D.A. Baldwin looking for protection. She says that she was afraid you might try to retaliate after the hired gun tried to take you out at your wife's club. Of course she, you know, denies it and says it was a misunderstanding.
Sonny: If you want to know about the conversations between Faith and the D.A., why don't you question them?
Taggert: I'm meeting with them today with the five families, all right? Your accountant showed up and now he's dead, right on the heels of the shooting at your wife's club, where your new attorney took a bullet. You don't find that odd?
Sonny: You know what you should do? You should go back to the station and go over this with Baldwin. He's big on theory with no basis in fact.
Taggert: You want to talk facts, Sonny?
Taggert: You want to talk facts? I'll talk facts with you. You got a problem with your organization, all right? People are taking advantage.
Sonny: Did he say organization? Or are you talking about my coffee company?
Taggert: What about you, Morgan, huh? Accountant shows up to the meeting with the families, you don't show up till afterwards? What's up with that, huh? Why was Benny doing your job?
Lucky: You know what, this has nothing to do with Summer.
Luke: Really? One minute you're in my office, accusing me of paying her to go to bed with you, and the next minute you're taking Nikolas' side against me? I can connect those two dots.
Lucky: Dad, you and I wound up dating the same girl. It was awkward, and, yeah, it made me mad, but this has nothing to do with the situation. Nikolas is just trying to provide --
Luke: Nikolas is not responsible for Laura. He's barely even her son. She counts on me to take care of her. Me.
Summer: Hi. Yeah, I've been waiting for about 10 minutes. Okay. Hurry, please. It's cold. Yeah, okay. I'll be waiting.
Luke: Stay out of this.
Lucky: Business call?
Summer: So you're eavesdropping now, huh?
Lucky: What, are you hooking again? Don't do it. You know, just call the guy and cancel it.
Summer: Look, this is my business, not yours.
Lucky: You don't want to do it, Summer.
Skye: Jax, are you all right?
Jax: What's going on in there?
Skye: The judge is letting Scott cross-examine Alexis.
Jax: What is she thinking? I mean, can't she see that Alexis is not well?
Skye: The judge also gave Cameron the right to step in if things should take a turn for the worse.
Jax: Well, they will. I'm sure Baldwin’s got something up his sleeve.
Skye: You want to tell me again how you've given up on caring for people? How the thoughtful, considerate Jax is long gone? Because from what I've seen today, he's very much alive and well.
Scott: Feeling better? Kristina, right?
Alexis: [As Kristina] actually, I'm feeling much better. How you feeling, Scott?
Scott: Oh, I'm good.
Scott: Now, that scene with the knife -- was that spontaneous or was it something you and your shrink cooked up?
Alexis: You think he's crazy?
Judge: Simply answer the question.
Alexis: Did he ask me one?
Scott: So you're saying it was spontaneous, huh? Well, congratulations. Meryl Streep's got nothing on you.
Alexis: Then why did it look like you were about to wet your pants?
Scott: Your Honor, can we --
Judge: For the last time, answer the question.
Alexis: Do you honestly think that my sister would be capable of killing anyone for any reason at all?
Scott: You're intelligent, you're resourceful.
Alexis: Scott, you're just after my sister because you've gone after everybody else in Port Charles and haven't been able to get a conviction for Alcazar's murder.
Scott: Stop changing the subject.
Alexis: You've known my sister for years, Scott. You tell me. Do you think that she would be capable of going to Alcazar's suite, picking up a steak knife, stabbing him with it, and then pushing him over the balcony and watching him fall 14 floors, slammed on top of a car roof? If Alexis were going to go after Alcazar, she would have knocked on his hotel door.
Alexis: She would have told him, "I'll see you in court." Not that that would do any good at all.
Bailiff: No cell phones in the courtroom, please.
Ned: Is Kristina all right?
Vera: Something's wrong. I'm not sure what.
Ned: What happened to her?
Vera: She had a coughing fit and now her breathing is irregular.
Judge: Turn off that phone or I'll have you removed from this courtroom!
Ned: Call a doctor. I'll be right there.
Edward: Your Honor, it's an emergency. Something has happened to this man's child.
Alexis: What, Ned? Ned, what happened to my baby?
Scott: Your baby? Don't you mean your sister's baby? Welcome back, Alexis.
Cameron: Your Honor, the D.A. has no idea what he's talking about. By his own admission, he has no experience with dissociative identity disorder.
Scott: There was never another personality. You're faking!
Cameron: My patient is suffering from a mental illness.
Scott: No, we're the one's suffering from her bad acting. Alexis Davis is trying to get away with murder.
Dara: Objection, Your Honor.
Judge: Mr. Baldwin is allowed to continue.
Sonny: Thank you.
Cameron: Ms. Davis' condition can manifest itself in a number of ways if Kristina feels threatened.
Scott: Oh, come on, Lewis, you're tap-dancing here. Everybody in the courtroom heard "my baby." She's faking. Now, what are you going to do, trot out some medical mumbo-jumbo to say that the baby crisis caused Alexis to come out and Kristina’s now back?
Cameron: It's entirely possible.
Scott: Oh, come on, this is a blunder you can't cover. And you -- you're faking, because once the whole baby thing was mentioned, your ruse just flew out the window.
Alexis: [As Kristina] You heartless bastard. Alexis' baby could be in serious trouble, and all you care about is your pathetic excuse for a career!
Scott: No more questions, Your Honor. Ms. Davis may step down.
Lucky: Working as a call girl is a dead-end life. You don't want to slide back into it.
Summer: How would you know?
Lucky: Because you told me yourself. You said it killed you inside.
Luke: Leave her alone, leave her alone.
Lucky: Now, you wanted to move on, put your old life behind you.
Luke: She's an adult, Lucky. If she wants to be a hooker, let her be a hooker.
Summer: I can speak for myself, thank you. I have heard quite enough from both of you, to be quite honest. I'm surprised that I haven't put this together sooner, this father and son thing, because you're both exactly the same. You're both stubborn, you're both pushy, and you both have all the answers. Well, guess what -- one of your answers was to kick me out of both your lives, and that's fine with me because I'm a hell of a lot better without either one of you, to be quite honest.
Nikolas: You know, I have to give you credit. You never give up on this father-son trick, do you?
Taggert: Benny Abrams was your accountant. He doesn't handle family business. Jason does, especially sit-down meetings with the families. Now, it had to be handled. What happened?
Sonny: I told you what happened. Benny had a heart attack. You want to investigate, you go ahead, but I want to know as a fact he died of natural causes.
Taggert: I'm not asking you about your accountant. You know what I'm thinking? I'm thinking maybe there's a problem between you and anger boy. Maybe he's tired of saying "how high?" Every time you tell him to jump. Maybe he's thinking about striking out on his own.
Ric: Excuse me, lt. Taggert. Can I see your arrest warrant, please? Oh, you don't have one? Well, then I'm going to have to advise Mr. Corinthos and Mr. Morgan to not answer any more questions.
Taggert: You know what, just save your breath, all right? They didn't answer any questions.
Sonny: You want information? I'll tell you what Benny will, God rest his soul.
Carly: What's going on?
Sonny: Benny died. Heart attack.
Ric: Look, Lieutenant, the family just lost a close friend. I don't think it's really necessary to have the police here badgering them, do you?
Taggert: I'll be in touch.
Courtney: Ric, you're hurt.
Ric: Oh, God. No, that's just the gunshot wound. I must've -- the stitches must have broke.
Carly: Well, you should go take care of that.
Ric: It'll be all right. Look, is there anything that I can do for you?
Sonny: No. You go ahead.
Ric: All right. Well, if there's anything at all, you know where to find me.
Carly: This is awful about Benny. I thought he was better. I thought he was doing okay.
Sonny: Benny was a good man. He was a good man. He went to the meeting because he'll do anything for me, you know? He's loyal. Now he's dead. Benny shouldn't have been here, Jason. You should've been here. But you chose to disrespect me.
Courtney: Don't you dare put this on Jason.
Courtney: You're looking for someone to blame for Benny's death, anyone but yourself.
Carly: Courtney, don’t.
Courtney: And Jason is just the most convenient. I mean, you can work up some big lie about how Jason betrayed you, and that's why Benny died.
Jason: Just save your breath. Let's go.
Courtney: No, he is blaming you for something that he did wrong.
Sonny: No, I didn't do anything wrong. I was trying to protect you.
Courtney: I don't need your protection, Sonny, and I can make my own decisions.
Sonny: Open your eyes! You did this! You held on to Jason, wouldn't let him go, begged after him until he finally gave in. For what? So you could trash all our lives?
Jason: Hey! That's enough. You don't talk to her that way.
Ric: Oh, boy.
Elizabeth: Hey. Courtney and Carly were looking for you. My God, what happened?
Ric: Nothing. I just broke out a couple of stitches, that's all.
Elizabeth: Ric, you left the hospital too early.
Ric: I'm fine, really.
Elizabeth: No, you need to go back and have the doctor look at you.
Ric: Oh, why? So he can keep me waiting there for a couple of hours and then slap a fresh bandage on me? Why bother? I'm already here.
Elizabeth: All right, all right, let me look at it and I'll see how bad it is.
Ric: I'll be fine, really.
Elizabeth: Don't argue with me.
Ric: Do I have a choice here?
Elizabeth: Not really. But I'm going to warn you -- just because my grandmother's a nurse doesn't mean I am. This may not be expert care. Okay, just sit down.
Ric: You're instilling me with confidence. Ow.
Elizabeth: Sorry, sorry, sorry.
Ric: You're doing fine so far.
Luke: You need to apologize to the lady.
Nikolas: For what? Summer gets paid to have sex. Come on, you guys, she was working you both at the same time.
Lucky: You know what? Back off, Nikolas.
Nikolas: Since when are you defending her, Lucky? Listen, man, you can have any decent woman out there you want. Any one.
Luke: Nobody's interested in what you think is decent.
Summer: Oh, stop it, all of you. I'm not interested in being defended. I'm not interested in being insulted. I'm not interested in being talked about at all.
Nikolas: That's right. Because you've got better things to do, don't you? For instance, like giving that guy over there a night he won't forget.
Summer: Would you all excuse me?
Lucky: Summer -- man, are you happy with yourself?
Nikolas: Oh, come on. Can't you see what's going on here? Summer is working you both.
Luke: Who appointed you watchdog of the Spencer clan?
Nikolas: You know something, Luke? You really have a wonderful way with women. You do. You sent one Laura back to hooking and the other one in a mental ward.
Judge: Prosecution will begin closing remarks.
Scott: Alexis Davis' mental illness is a lie. All of her actions have been designed to fit into that little lie -- the emergence of Kristina, the other personality that came out when she pushed Alcazar off the balcony. The defense of the two people that were innocent, that were up on murder charges. The whispering phone calls to the police. The information that she gave to the police -- all preparation to reveal that the other person was controlling the strings, so Alexis could be free and clear, or so she thought. Could you read back the outburst?
Stenographer: "Ned, what's happened to my baby?"
Scott: Ms. Davis committed cold-blooded murder. Then she plotted and she schemed, figured out a way to cover up her tracks. She's hiding behind her own baby to get away with murder. We cannot let that happen.
Dara: Let's look at the facts. Cameron Lewis is Alexis Davis' psychiatrist, arguably the person she trusts most in the world, yet she stabbed him right before our eyes. Irrefutable evidence of her mental state. Her reaction to word of her baby's distress is consistent with D.I.D. We heard expert testimony that the personality of Kristina only emerges when Alexis is threatened. Well, the prosecution and this courtroom have been unrelentingly threatening to her, which explains why the doctor was unable to get the personality of Kristina to recede. It was only after her baby was in danger that Alexis the mother emerged. May I remind the Judge that this all began with Luis Alcazar, a cruel, amoral criminal who was directly responsible for the death of Ms. Davis' sister and left Ms. Davis and her unborn baby out in the snow to die. Ms. Davis suffered greatly at the hands of Luis Alcazar. She wanted to kill him. But those were not feelings that Ms. Davis could act on, which tore her apart, literally. This is a woman with a mental illness. She needs psychiatric care, and with the love and help of her family and friends, she can get through this. To put her in prison would be the real crime here.
[Judge pounds gavel]
Judge: Everyone please sit down. I don't need to deliberate. I've already made my judgment.
Lucky: You know what, Dad --
Nikolas: You want to try that again, Luke? Come on. You want to try it again? Give me your best shot.
Lucky: Don't make things worse.
Nikolas: Come on.
Lucky: You know what, why don't you just get out of here. You know what, let me try and calm him down.
Nikolas: Why, because I told him the truth? That's what makes him so angry.
Lucky: You know what? You were just proving Nikolas right. You are too out of control to be responsible for Mom.
Summer: There. I did it just the way you asked, same as I've been doing it from the beginning.
Nikolas: It's working like a charm.
Sonny: You're telling me how to talk to my sister?
Jason: No, I'm saying that things went wrong tonight and Benny died.
Sonny: Things went wrong for a reason, Jason.
Carly: Sonny, you don't mean this. Don't --
Sonny: Whose fault is it Benny was here? You walked away from your responsibility. You turned back on your commitments!
Jason: No, it doesn't matter what happened between us, Sonny! You know you shouldn't have sent Benny tonight. You're not thinking clearly. And you chose to fire me even after that. I tried to protect you. I stayed loyal.
Sonny: You don't know the meaning of the word.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Nikolas: The plan is working.
Summer: Your plan.
Luke: He's not to be trusted. My guard is up and yours should be, too.
Judge: Ms. Davis has visibly illustrated that her condition is unpredictable and dangerous.
Ric: This was a mistake, Elizabeth.
Jason: I'm not leaving till Sonny and I understand each other.
