Coleman: You're not getting back with Jax.

[Monitor beeps]

Brenda: Go to first bank.

Mac: Agree to counseling or go to jail.

Zander: You think I should see a shrink?

Gia: Yes.

Cameron: Alexander.

Brenda: I'm sorry I wasn't in court.

Lucky: That's how you end a date. Ahem.

Summer: I thought most guys were looking for more than just that.

Lucky: I never said I wasn't looking.

Summer: Okay, is this that awkward moment when you're going to decide whether you're going to ask me out again or not?

Lucky: I'd like to. But what about this other guy in your life?

Zander: Go on, Dad. Leave. What are you waiting for?

Cameron: I didn't expect to see you.

Zander: Sure you did. You followed me to Port Charles, right?

Cameron: No, Alexander, I didn't.

Jason: What's -- what's going on?

Courtney: Well, you guys -- you looked pretty close in there.

Jason: Come on, you know --

Courtney: Yeah. Yeah, I know. I know it didn't mean anything. And I know it's not good for me to be here, but, Jason, I had to see you.

Jason: And I'm glad you came.

Courtney: So how is Brenda?

Jason: She's fine. She's fighting with me already.

Courtney: God, Jason, you are the one who believed that she didn't skip bail. Doesn't that matter to her?

Officer: Jason Morgan, we need you in court.

Courtney: Now?

Officer: Yeah. The bailiff said we need to get you over there.

Jason: All right.

Officer: Let's go.

Jason: I got to take -- I got to say good-bye --

Officer: There's no time for that.

Second officer: Let's go.

Courtney: Well, wait, you can't start the trial without Brenda.

Jason: Okay, look. Just go in and tell Brenda what's going on and tell her I said good-bye.

Courtney: Yeah, sure.

Scott: This procedure has been used in courts before. It's very effective.

Alexis: And is inherently unfair to my client.

Judge: Your client's condition is no longer critical. Is that correct?

Alexis: She is still in no condition to go on trial for her life.

Judge: If she would've considered that before she dove into the lake --

Alexis: Your honor, with all due respect, I submit that this is yet another publicity stunt staged by the district attorney.

Scott: We all have a right to know. I mean, everybody is entitled to a fair trial.

Judge: Save it, Mr. Baldwin.

Alexis: The last thing anyone needs is more publicity.

Judge: Then let's get it over with, shall we? Mr. Baldwin, I'm granting your request. The trial will commence in the next 20 minutes.

Alexis: Nice work, counselor.

Scott: Better get your clients ready.

Jax: Brenda risked her life to get the key to that safety deposit box. She trusted me with that, not you.

Sonny: We're wasting time. Cops have to be on their way, Jax.

Jax: This tape could mean Brenda's acquittal.

Sonny: It could send her straight to prison. I need to see what's in that before anybody else does.

Jax: I won't let you taint the evidence.

Sonny: Sure you will.

Lucky: What I mean is that I don't want to cut in.

Summer: No, it's more of an arrangement.

Lucky: And it's none of my business.

Summer: Okay, look, I'm not sleeping with him if that's what you're trying not to ask.

Lucky: You caught me.

Summer: You know, he just likes the past better than he likes now. His wife's dead. We just relive some of his memories. It makes us both feel better.

Lucky: So it's more of a friendship?

Summer: Yeah. Certainly not a boyfriend.

Lucky: Good. Okay, well, this is where I take you home --

Summer: I'd like that.

Lucky: And we make our second date, if that's okay with you.

Summer: Yeah, I'd really like that.

Sonny: We're wasting time, Jax.

Jax: I'm trying to protect Brenda. Are you going to let me do that?

Officer: We have orders to open the safety deposit box.

Second officer: This is the one that belongs to Luis Alcazar.

Sonny: You know what, Jax, why don't you leave and let the officers do their job.

Officer: Where are the contents, sir?

Second officer: Did you remove that tape from this safety deposit box?

Jax: Yes, I did.

Officer: Hand me the tape, please. Thank you, sir.

Sonny: Why didn't you hide the damn tape?

Jax: Because I'd rather take my chances with the cops.

Monica: Has the trial been postponed?

A.J.: I don't know. How should I know? I'm just a witness.

Monica: Are you still going to testify against Jason?

A.J.: I saw what I saw.

Monica: And you know your testimony could send him to prison.

A.J.: He's a hit man.

Monica: He didn't kill Alcazar and neither did Brenda.

A.J.: Jason's going to lose this time, and I'd really hate for you to see that, Mother.

Monica: You know, a few years ago, you got drunk, A.J., and you took your car and you wrapped it around a tree and you killed my Jason. I couldn't be there, I couldn't do anything, couldn't save him. Well, if you kill him now -- and I mean, if you send him to prison -- you're going to do it in front of me.

Scott: Hey, Monica. How's Brenda?

Monica: She's fine.

[Phone rings]

Scott: Hello? It's perfect timing. Be right there. 20 minutes.

Bailiff: Okay.

Reporter: Hey, Mr. Baldwin, Mr. Baldwin --

Bailiff: 20 minutes, ladies and gentlemen. Court will commence in 20 minutes.

Skye: Damn.

A.J.: Are we supposed to act like we didn't see that?

Coleman: Leave her alone.

Reporters: Mr. Quartermaine, Mr. Quartermaine, Mr. Quartermaine --

Edward: Well, if it isn't the three musketeers.

A.J.: It's so good to see you, Grandfather.

Edward: You -- what interest do you have in this trial?

Courtney: Hi.

Brenda: What's your name?

Courtney: Um -- I'm Courtney.

Brenda: Courtney, right. Ahem. Hi.

Courtney: You know, I just -- I came to check on you and Jason, but the police just took Jason back to the courtroom.

Brenda: I can't believe they're starting the trial without me. This is Scott's way of trying to put more pressure on us.

Courtney: Yeah, well, I mean, after what you've been through, that's the last thing you need.

Brenda: That was sweet.

Courtney: You should've seen the way that Jason stood up for you in that courtroom, right there in front of everybody.

Brenda: Well, Jason's very loyal.

Courtney: Yeah. He says you are, too, but you get on his nerves. I'm sorry. That was stupid. I shouldn't have said that.

Brenda: So you're friends with Jason?

Courtney: Yeah.

Brenda: Right.

Courtney: Anyway, I guess I'm going to go back to the courtroom. Take care.

Scott: Yeah?

Mac: This tape was found in Alcazar's safety deposit box. Nothing else.

Scott: Anybody seen it?

Mac: It's already been logged into evidence, so if you don't like what's on the tape, don't accidentally burn it.

Mac: Zander is in with Dr. Lewis, so it might be a while. You don't have to wait.

Gia: Oh, well, I talked Zander into counseling, so I want to see what comes of it.

Mac: Don't get your hopes up.

Gia: No, I'm sure something good will come out of this.

Zander: I must be totally gone to think you'd come after me.

Cameron: Do you even know what you're taking?

Zander: What do you care?

Cameron: I did hire a private investigator.

Zander: Mom made you, right? I heard you split up.

Cameron: You broke her heart.

Zander: So it's my fault, too?

Cameron: She was devastated. She wanted to start over.

Zander: Been deer hunting lately?

Cameron: You've been waiting a long time to say that, haven't you?

Zander: Look at me right now. You see Peter, don't you, lying on the ground?

Cameron: Yes.

Zander: You wish it was me, don't you? Come on! Admit it!

Cameron: Yes. Every day.

Cameron: Before you shot him, Peter showed great promise. Look at you.

Zander: You know, I didn't even want to go hunting. Did you know that? Peter talked me into it.

Cameron: And he talked me into taking you.

Zander: I should've just gone to the beach and partied like I planned.

Cameron: You never had a plan in your life, Alex.

Zander: Hey, who walked away from me at the funeral? Who walked away from me at the church?

Cameron: No direction, no responsibility.

Zander: You wouldn't even ride with me when they --

Cameron: Don't expect me to apologize.

Zander: You must be a lousy shrink, you know that?

Cameron: The instant you pulled that trigger, I lost everything.

Zander: Something moved, Dad. I thought it was a deer.

Cameron: You want me to feel sorry for you?

Zander: No.

Cameron: To tell you everything's fine?

Zander: I didn't mean to shoot my brother!

Cameron: And that makes it all right? That'll bring him back?

Gia: What happened?

Cameron: I can't help that kid. Nobody can. Lock him up.

Mac: That's your professional recommendation?

Cameron: I don't care what you do. Just don't call me again.

Zander: I told you this was a bad idea.

Mac: I'm giving you one more chance, Zander.

Zander: Don't do me any favors, Commissioner.

Cameron: He doesn't deserve it.

Mac: You mess up again, you're going to jail.

Zander: Well, then I guess I'll see you soon. Right, doc?

Gia: What's the matter with you?

Jax: I'm sorry. It took me a while to get here. The cops are everywhere.

Brenda: Did you find the safety deposit box?

Jax: God, your hands are freezing.

Brenda: I'm fine. Did you find it?

Jax: I did, I did. Yeah, there was a videotape inside labeled "murder."

Brenda: What? What was on it?

Jax: The cops have it.

Brenda: You didn't see it?

Jax: Sonny showed up. He saw you hand me the key, he wanted the tape, we were arguing --

Brenda: Oh, and while you guys were arguing, the -- the cops showed up?

Jax: Exactly.

Brenda: That's great, Jax.

Jax: Maybe it's not so bad. I mean, do you have any idea what was on that tape?

Brenda: I might have an idea.

Jax: Could Alcazar have been blackmailing someone with that tape? Perhaps the enemy that killed him?

Brenda: I think I'm on the tape.

Jax: Oh. Well, you know what? Don't worry about it for now because --

Brenda: Yeah, Luis --

Jax: They cannot start the trial until you're out of here, so forget --

Brenda: Was really good to me for a few years, and then it all changed in the last few months, right when I started asking to go home.

Jax: Try not to think about it now.

Brenda: I had this picture of you in a frame behind a picture of me and Luis. And then one day it was gone.

Jax: I carried a picture of you, too.

[Phone rings]

Brenda: Ahem. What?

Jax: Who is it?

Brenda: It's Alexis.

What?

[Door opens]

Jax: Whoa, whoa, whoa -- what's going on here?

Man: Court order, sir.

Jax: No, you can't be bringing this stuff in here. She's not well enough.

[Brenda coughs]

Brenda: Yeah, they can. I know. I'm telling him.

Jax: What did Alexis say?

Brenda: The judge has ordered a closed-circuit television feed. All right. The trial's starting.

Sonny: How did Brenda take it?

Alexis: I have no idea. Jax is with her. Do you have any idea what's on that tape?

Sonny: No.

Alexis: Do you have any indication where the tape was made?

Sonny: I didn't get a good look at it.

Alexis: The jury won't see it, either, if it helps Brenda in any way. We have to go in there. No matter what Scott says to you, no matter how angry he makes you, you do not lose your temper, and what I mean by that is you don't sit in that chair with that icy, remorseless stare of yours because he is going to convince the jury that you are a killing machine. You may be that, but don't do his job for him.

A.J.: Trial's open to the public, Grandfather.

Edward: Hey. Are you capable of answering a simple question, hmm? Why are you here?

Coleman: We're doing a little business together, Quartermaine, like I told you before.

Skye: Yeah. He's here for moral support.

Edward: Mm-hmm. So I see. If she keeps drinking like that, you're going to have to support her all the way to the witness stand.

Skye: I'm not drinking.

Edward: If I were you, I'd take that flask out of her purse.

A.J.: Court's about to start.

Reporter: Mr. Quartermaine --

Second reporter: Mr. Quartermaine? Mr. Quartermaine, please --

A.J.: Hey, hey, let's go.

Sonny: Hey. It's about time you and I had a little talk.

Bailiff: All rise. Court is in session. The matter of the People vs. Brenda Barrett Morgan and Jason Morgan regarding the first-degree murder of Luis Alcazar. You may be seated.

Judge: Are all parties present?

Scott: We're all set, your honor.

Judge: The prosecution is ready?

Scott: Yes, sir.

Judge: The defense is ready?

Alexis: Yes, your honor.

Judge: You may begin, Ms. Davis.

Alexis: Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, thank you very much for your time and patience. As you know, the lives of my clients, Jason and Brenda Morgan, are at stake, and I am counting on you to listen and to arrive at a fair and just verdict.

Gia: Hey, Zander -- Zander, stop! What happened with that shrink?

Zander: It didn't work out, all right?

Gia: Mac was trying to do you a favor.

Zander: Well, I don't want any favors.

Gia: What happened?

Zander: He's my father.

Gia: Who, Mac? Since when?

Zander: No, the shrink. Dr. Lewis.

Gia: Get out.

Zander: I left home. He wasn't that interested in finding me. And everything was all right until I saw him today.

Gia: Everything isn't all right.

Zander: Just don't worry about it, okay?

Gia: Why did you leave home?

Zander: It doesn't matter.

Gia: Fine. Then don't tell me. Go get high or whatever it is that you do. I was just trying to help you.

Zander: Something moved. I thought it was a deer and it wasn't. I shot my brother.

Gia: Oh, my god.

Zander: He was the perfect son. My father and I watched him bleed to death in front of us.

Gia: Oh, my god, that's terrible. I'm sorry.

Zander: My father's right. He can't forgive me. He's lost everything.

Gia: So have you. Look, you messed up your hand.

Zander: It's okay, it's okay.

Gia: You need something to eat.

Zander: No, I'm not hungry. Thanks, though. See you later.

Nikolas: So what was that all about?

Summer: I live here.

Lucky: Oh.

[Summer and Lucky laugh]

Summer: So, this is that moment where I either invite you in or not and we get all awkward, right?

Lucky: Pretty much, yeah.

Summer: Well, you're more than welcome to come in.

Lucky: I think we should quit while we're ahead.

Summer: That's good, too.

Lucky: But if you'd like to talk about a second date --

Summer: Pool at Jake's?

Lucky: Oh, oh -- come on, that's cold.

Summer: Yeah, I can teach you a thing or two.

Lucky: You already have.

Summer: Well, I am around tonight if you change your mind -- just to listen to music or whatever.

Lucky: Sure.

Summer: Okay, then.

Lucky: All right. I'll see you.

Summer: Bye.

Lucky: Bye.

Alexis: Some facts in this case are clear. Brenda Barrett Morgan, among others, was at the scene of the crime. The district attorney will tell you that my clients had motive to want Luis Alcazar dead, and I am telling you that there is a long list of people who had motive to want Luis Alcazar dead because he was a bad man who did bad things. He was an arms dealer who continually operated above the law. Perhaps the district attorney can explain to you how a man like that could not only be acquitted of kidnapping, but be acquitted of attempted murder. And perhaps he can explain to you how a man like that could get away with holding Brenda Barrett Morgan against her will for over four years, kidnapping a respected doctor, and shooting a prominent businessman. Perhaps he can explain to you how a man like that who has absolutely no regard for human life could be set free into society to walk the streets of Port Charles to do as he saw fit. The facts in this case -- some will be difficult to hear. It will be brother against brother, some will be sister against brother. But the bottom line here, the core of this case, is reasonable doubt because no one will ever know exactly what happened in that hotel the night that Luis Alcazar was murdered. So all that we can do is consider the evidence, we can listen to the witnesses, and we can try to put the pieces together. But I am telling you that the pieces do not fit. You're going to listen to the facts of this case; you're going to hear the state. And you will understand and you will come to the conclusion that the State cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that my clients, Jason and Brenda Morgan, killed Luis Alcazar. Thank you for your attention.

Judge: Mr. Baldwin, your first witness, please.

Scott: I call A.J. Quartermaine.

Bailiff: Raise your right hand. Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?

A.J.: I do.

Sonny: It's just a little confusing, you understand me? Seeing you with A.J. after everything that's happened. At first I didn't understand, and then, you know -- I mean, it's an odd case -- convenient evidence, witnesses out of nowhere ending up dead. And here you are with Skye and A.J., enjoying each other --

Coleman: Sure --

Sonny: You know, having a great time. Things started coming into focus for me, right?

Coleman: I -- I can explain.

Sonny: I don't want you to explain. You're going to listen to me. Listen to me. If Jason and Brenda are convicted, I'm going to take care of the situation. Two lives for one seems more than fair. Don't you agree?

Coleman: Yeah, man.

Scott: On the night he was murdered, you saw Mr. Alcazar in the back of his limousine alive and well, correct?

A.J.: Yes.

Scott: And you saw the man who was driving the limousine, and he is in this courtroom?

A.J.: Yes.

Scott: Would you point him out?

A.J.: Jason Morgan.

Scott: Let the record show that Mr. Quartermaine has pointed out Mr. Morgan as a known hit man --

Alexis: Objection.

Scott: Number one goon --

Alexis: Objection, your honor.

Scott: To --

Judge: Tone it down, Mr. Baldwin.

Scott: Well, I doubt that Mr. Morgan was taking Mr. Alcazar out for a banana split.

Alexis: Your honor --

Scott: Your witness.

Alexis: On the evening in question, you had a clear view of the limousine, did you not?

A.J.: Yes.

Alexis: No obstruction? You could see the interior?

A.J.: Yes. Jason Morgan was driving the car.

Alexis: Mm-hmm.

A.J.: Yeah.

Alexis: Was there anyone else in the limousine?

A.J.: Luis Alcazar.

Alexis: Anyone else?

A.J.: Skye Quartermaine.

Alexis: You mean, Mrs. Skye Quartermaine Jacks, the estranged wife of Jasper Jacks?

A.J.: Yes.

Alexis: Mrs. Jacks is your sister, correct?

A.J.: Correct.

Alexis: And Jason is your brother, correct?

A.J.: Correct.

Alexis: Was Mrs. Jacks riding up front with her brother?

A.J.: No.

Alexis: Where was she sitting?

A.J.: In the back.

Alexis: With Alcazar?

A.J.: That's correct.

Alexis: Did she seem as if she had been kidnapped?

A.J.: No.

Alexis: Did you tell the police that your sister was riding next to Alcazar in the limo the night that he was murdered?

A.J.: No.

Alexis: And why is that?

A.J.: It didn't seem relevant.

Alexis: But turning your brother in did?

A.J.: Yes.

Alexis: You're a recovering alcoholic, aren't you, A.J.?

A.J.: Recovering, yes.

Alexis: Are you drunk now?

A.J.: No.

Alexis: When was the last time you remember being drunk?

Scott: Relevance.

Judge: Get where you're going, Ms. Davis.

Alexis: Mr. Quartermaine, isn't it true that you've had a long-standing grudge against your brother, Jason?

A.J.: Yes.

Alexis: Isn't it true that you have felt pitted against him since childhood?

A.J.: Yes.

Alexis: And haven't you stated on numerous occasions that you would do anything to destroy your brother, Jason?

A.J.: Jason Morgan is a contract killer. I saw him drive Luis Alcazar straight to his death, and nothing will change that.

[Caller buzzes]

Alexis: Thank you, Mr. Quartermaine.

[Judge pounds gavel]

Judge: Order in this courtroom!

Courtney: Has the trial started yet?

Sonny: Why did you come back?

Gia: I was trying to help Zander as a favor to Alexis.

Nikolas: He's in trouble again, huh?

Gia: Zander's got a lot of family things going on.

Nikolas: Family? Since when?

Gia: It's a long story. How's Brenda?

Nikolas: Right, that's -- that's the Gia I know, always changing the subject, huh?

Gia: You got it.

Nikolas: She's fine. They're doing a closed circuit live from her hospital room to the courthouse.

Gia: Is that even legal?

Nikolas: Well, it has to be. It's all over the news.

Gia: I got to get to the courthouse.

Nikolas: Never mind your loyal fiancÚ, huh?

Gia: I know how lucky I am.

Nikolas: Well, let me tell you something. You do not go wasting your time on Zander, okay?

Gia: Zander has reasons for doing what he did.

Nikolas: Oh, really? So now you're making excuses for him, is that it?

Gia: I just hope he can work things out.

Zander: This is nice stuff, man.

John: You're sure going through it. What happened to your hands?

Zander: Oh, you know how it is.

John: I'm glad you're back, man. We all missed you.

Zander: Well, I forgot who I was for a little while, that's all. I'm better now.

John: You stay in touch.

Zander: Sure.

Courtney: I know how much this trial affects you. And since Carly had to leave, you know, to take care of Michael, then I thought that I'd --

Sonny: Did Carly ask you to be here?

Courtney: Well, she -- she said she had to go home because Michael wasn't feeling well. And no, she didn't say in those words that she wanted me to come to the trial and hold your hand. But I'm trying to be a better sister, all right? I mean, you need to have family around you, Sonny.

Sonny: I don't want you involved in this.

Courtney: I get to care about you.

Sonny: Well, I made choices that can't be undone.

Courtney: Yeah, well, so have I.

Sonny: And the choices that I've made -- I've hurt people.

Courtney: I'm not leaving.

Sonny: Okay, come on, let's go.

Scott: You're absolutely sure you saw Brenda Morgan go after Mr. Alcazar with a knife?

Skye: Yes.

Scott: No further questions.

Alexis: You're a recovering alcoholic, the same as your brother, is that correct?

Skye: What does that have to do with anything?

Judge: Please answer yes or no.

Alexis: Excuse me, what does "recovering alcoholic" mean?

Skye: Well, it means you're dealing with the disease one day at a time.

Alexis: Did you have a drink today, Mrs. Jacks?

Skye: I'm fine.

Alexis: I'm glad to hear that, but I -- I asked you if you had a drink today, and I'm afraid I need a yes or a no.

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: How many drinks have you had today?

Skye: I don't really count drinks.

Alexis: All right, let me see if I can help you. Was is two drinks? Was is four drinks? Was it ten drinks?

Skye: A few.

Alexis: Are you drunk now, Mrs. Jacks?

Scott: Objection.

Alexis: Relevance, your honor.

Judge: I'll allow it. Ms. Davis, move on, please.

Alexis: Thank you, your honor. Are you drunk now, Mrs. Jacks?

Skye: No.

Alexis: Were you drinking the night Luis Alcazar was murdered?

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: How many drinks did you have?

Skye: I -- I was very upset.

Alexis: All right, was that four drinks upset, or eleven drinks upset?

Skye: I was drunk.

Alexis: So when you got into the limo with the man who shot, paralyzed, and nearly killed your husband, you were drunk?

Skye: My family was giving a party that night --

Alexis: Yes or no, please, Mrs. Jacks.

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: Were you fond of Luis Alcazar?

Skye: No.

Alexis: Were you attracted to Luis Alcazar?

Skye: No.

Alexis: Did you hate Luis Alcazar?

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: Did you have sex with Luis Alcazar the night that he was murdered?

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: Was it good?

Scott: Your -- your honor?

Alexis: Withdrawn.

Judge: You know better, Ms. Davis.

Alexis: You're absolutely right, your honor, and I apologize to the court. I'd like some clarification on some of your testimony, if you don't mind, Mrs. Jacks. Now, you said that you could see the murder clearly from Luis Alcazar's bedroom?

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: Even though you were drunk --

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: And just had sex with the man who shot your husband?

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: Ahem -- could you see clearly -- from Luis Alcazar's bedroom, could you see the balcony clearly?

Skye: No, but Brenda was in the --

Alexis: Why is that? Because you were drunk, Mrs. Jacks?

Skye: No, I -- I could see through a little crack in the door.

Alexis: Did you see Brenda Morgan actually stab Luis Alcazar?

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: How many times?

Skye: She was chasing him.

Alexis: I didn't ask you if she was chasing him, I asked you if you saw Brenda Morgan actually stab Luis Alcazar.

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: Are you sure?

Skye: I said yes!

Alexis: All right, then did you see Brenda Morgan actually push Luis Alcazar over the balcony?

Skye: She was going after him, so it only makes sense she was the one.

Alexis: You hate Brenda Morgan, don't you?

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: Why is that?

Skye: She stole my husband.

Alexis: Does that make you angry?

Skye: She showed up on my wedding night!

Alexis: That would make me angry, too. Do you want Brenda Morgan out of the picture?

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: Why, so your husband will love you again? Mrs. Jacks, you didn't see Brenda kill anyone, did you? Because you were passed out in Luis Alcazar's bed.

Skye: No!

Alexis: You weren't passed out in Luis Alcazar's bed?

Skye: Yes!

Alexis: Do you even remember having sex with him at all?

Scott: Objection!

Judge: I'll allow it. Answer the question.

Skye: Yes.

Alexis: Are you sure, Mrs. Jacks?

Skye: Yes, mostly.

Alexis: Did you have a blackout that night, Mrs. Jacks?

Skye: I -- I was very upset!

Alexis: Just answer the question, yes or no, please.

Skye: I -- I don't remember!

[Gallery buzzes]

Alexis: You don't have any idea who killed Luis Alcazar, do you?

Skye: Yes!

Alexis: Because, in fact, it could have been you.

Skye: No, it wasn't me! Brenda killed Alcazar! That lying slut stole my husband on my wedding night, and she deserves everything that jury's going to throw at her! She ruined my life, and now I want you to ruin hers!

Judge: Order in the court.

Alexis: No further questions, your honor.

Judge: Get your witness under control.

Skye: You -- you stole the only man I ever loved, and now I can't wait to watch you suffer!

Jax: You know what, Skye? Leave Brenda alone. She's innocent.

Skye: Oh, my God, do you see this? She's in bed! That lying slut is in bed with my husband! You miserable whore!

Jax: Would somebody please get her away from the TV?

Skye: Oh, no, I'm going to turn it off so you guys can get back to what you're doing!

Jax: Somebody get her out of there!

Judge: Order in the court!

A.J.: Let's go, Skye.

Skye: No, let me go!

Judge: Get your witness under control!

Skye: I wish you'd die, you bitch!

[Skye screams]

Judge: Order in this court!

Lucky: Hey, Laura. Hey, I brought those CDs. Laura? Oh, my God. Laura. Laura. It's okay, it's okay. It's just Lucky. Are you all right? Are you -- come here. Slowly. Come here. It's okay. It's all right.

Cameron's voice: You did this, Alexander. You killed your own brother. Peter died because you weren't paying attention.

Zander's voice: Dad, I thought I saw movement behind the trees. I thought it was a deer.

Cameron's voice: You knew he was close by!

Zander's voice: I didn't think he was --

Cameron's voice: No, you didn't think! You never do!

Zander's voice: I'm sorry.

Cameron's voice: Sorry? Sorry won't bring Peter back. Nothing will.

Judge: Order in the court. Any more outbursts in this courtroom, and I'll hold you in contempt and you'll spend the rest of this trial in a jail cell. Next witness.

Alexis: What is going on here, your honor?

Scott: Your honor, I apologize for the late notice, but I request permission to present new evidence.

Alexis: I'm sorry, but I have not seen or heard of any of this.

Judge: What evidence?

Scott: Lt. Taggert.

Judge: What is it?

Scott: Videotape.

Judge: Where did this tape come from?

Scott: Ms. Davis knows very well it was supplied by her own client, Brenda Morgan.

Judge: Mrs. Barrett Morgan, did you make this evidence available?

Brenda: Yes, your honor.

Judge: In what manner did you do this?

Brenda: I found the key to the safety deposit box.

Scott: In a yacht at the bottom of the lake, the tape was in the safety deposit box.

Alexis: Do I need to mention chain of evidence?

Scott: Jasper Jacks presented the tape to the police himself.

Judge: Is that correct, Mr. Jacks?

Jax: Yes, that's correct, your honor.

Alexis: As Brenda Barrett Morgan's attorney, I have every right to review any evidence that's presented before the court.

Scott: Even when it's provided by her own client?

Alexis: Have you seen the tape?

Scott: Yes. There's no question of relevance, at least in my opinion, your honor.

Judge: Then I will allow it.

Brenda: Where are my keys?

Alcazar: Right here.

Brenda: Give them to me.

Alcazar: You know you get confused when you leave the compound. Remember when you got lost? You were terrified.

Brenda: Give me my keys. I'm going out.

Alcazar: I will take you anywhere on earth you want to go.

Brenda: I want to go home.

Alcazar: You asked me not to take you home. Have you forgotten?

Brenda: I've changed my mind.

Alcazar: Do you want the people back home to watch you die?

Brenda: I'm just going to go look at them. I'm not going to let them see me.

Alcazar: Who, Brenda? What's your plan? Are you going to drive all the way back to Port Charles?

Brenda: I just want to go sit in the car for a while and look at them! I just want to say good-bye to them!

Alcazar: It's for your own good.

Brenda: You can't do this.

Alcazar: Yes, I can.

Brenda: This is not part of the deal, Luis! I am never, ever going to feel that way about you. You know that.

Alcazar: You need to take your pills. Try to be pleasant at dinner.

Scott: Your honor, now you understand why Brenda Morgan was so desperate to get her hands on this tape. It proves that she tried to kill Alcazar once before. I submit that she finally got it right.

Alexis: Objection! I object to this, your honor.

Judge: Order in the court!

Sonny: It's over.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Summer: You can't tell anybody. Just leave it alone.

Gia: Like father, like son?

Coleman: We've got trouble.

A.J.: What do you mean, "we"?

Jax: There's only one way out of this. We give up Jason.

Courtney: Do you think that she did it, Sonny?

Sonny: It can be handled.

Jason: What are you going to do?

Alexis: I have no idea.
