Lucky: Are you asking me out on a date?
Summer: I'm asking you to hang out with me. The word "date" probably has a different meaning to me than it does to you.
Lucky: Yeah, but a date by any other name is still a date.
Summer: Was there an answer in there somewhere?
Lucky: Absolutely. And I know just the place.
Zander: Shot of tequila. Don't keep me waiting.
Bartender: In your dreams, pal.
Zander: I wish I were.
Bartender: I'm not going to serve you. Take it from me, man, you're plenty wasted.
Zander: I'm just getting started.
Bartender: If you're going to start, start somewhere else, like upstairs. Sleep it off.
Zander: Ever been in love?
Bartender: No. I'm married.
Zander: That's good. Yeah, I could be -- I could be married right now, too, instead of in this dump with you. All warm and cozy with the prettiest, sweetest girl you'd ever seen. But I messed up. I always mess up. You know what? Maybe I can fix things.
Bartender: Maybe you can't. Women are good at forgiving men for being idiots -- comes with practice -- but you're in no condition to fix anything tonight. You can't even think straight.
Zander: I know what day it is. I'm going to call her.
Zander: Emily? Hi. It's me, Zander. Happy birthday.
Gia: My god. It's Brenda! Oh, my god.
Nikolas: Yeah. She doesn't look too good, either, Gia.
Gia: No. Here, call -- call 911. I know CPR here.
Nikolas: Here, cover her up, cover her up. Yeah. Yeah, hi, this is Nikolas Cassadine. I just pulled a woman -- a woman out of the lake. Yeah, the location's the Elm Street Pier. Okay -- what's going on? What's going on?
Gia: She's not breathing and I can't feel a pulse.
Nikolas: Okay, my fiancée just said that she's trying to give CPR. She can't feel a pulse. Can you guys get down here, please?
Judge: I asked you a question, Mr. Morgan -- where's your wife?
Jason: Your honor, I don't -- I don't know where my wife --
Judge: Do you have any idea where your wife is?
Jason: No, sir.
Scott: Your honor, I would like a warrant issued for Brenda Barrett's arrest.
Alexis: I hardly think that's necessary, your honor.
Judge: Do you know where your client is, Ms. Davis?
Alexis: Your honor, may I approach?
Courtney: I overheard A.J. talking to Coleman. They're working together to frame Jason, and I think Coleman's the one who found that bogus eyewitness.
Sonny: So that's where Ida came from.
Courtney: Coleman denied it, but I think he might've killed her. I mean, maybe she got scared and wanted to break the deal and tell the truth.
Sonny: All right, you were right in bringing this to me. I'll go ahead and take care of it from here.
Alexis: My client is committed to clearing her name in this trial. It doesn't make any sense that she's not here. There must be extraordinary circumstances.
Scott: It's a stall tactic. It's as clear as the nose on her face that Brenda Barrett ran, as she's done before.
Judge: Ms. Davis, I'm inclined to agree with the D.A.
Alexis: Your honor, all I'm asking for is that you grant me a short recess so that I can find out what happened to her.
Judge: If Mr. Baldwin is right, and you or your client are using this to deliberately delay the proceedings, I'll hold you both in contempt.
Scott: Well, I would like it officially placed on record.
Taggert: Sorry for the interruption.
Judge: I'm in conference and you're out of order.
Taggert: What I have to say may affect your conference. I've located Mrs. Brenda Barrett Morgan.
Alexis: Where is she?
Taggert: En route to General Hospital after being pulled out of the lake. She might not make it.
[Judge pounds gavel]
[judge pounds gavel]
Judge: Order. Lieutenant, tell us what you know.
Taggert: I just got a call from dispatch. Somebody pulled Brenda Barrett out of the lake. Apparently she'd been there a long time.
Alexis: Is she alive?
Taggert: Barely, but only because she was wearing a wetsuit. Paramedics are on the scene right now. That's all the information I have, your honor.
Sonny: This could be retaliation for Alcazar. Somebody could've tried to kill Brenda, so I'm going to --
Carly: No, it's okay. Don't -- you don't have to explain, just go. Take care of it. I'll stay with Courtney.
Sonny: I'm headed for the hospital.
Jason: Okay. I'll be there as soon as I can.
Alexis: Once again, your honor, I'm going to request a recess to ascertain the condition of my client. I'm assuming by now the court will see, as well as the district attorney, that my client's nonappearance was not an effort to stonewall or delay this court in any way.
Scott: That remains to be seen.
Alexis: For God's sake, surely you will agree that it's a little excessive to throw yourself into a freezing lake to avoid court.
Judge: I've heard enough. I'm granting the recess.
Alexis: Thank you, your honor.
Judge: Due to Mrs. Morgan's unavailability, the court will adjourn and reconvene at the earliest possible date. The attorneys will be notified as well as the jury. The same rules apply -- you are not to discuss this case with each other or anyone else. This court is adjourned.
Bailiff: All rise.
Scott: I hope this isn't a trick.
Alexis: That's your style, not mine, counselor.
Scott: We'll see.
Alexis: As her legal husband, it would be good to make an appearance at the hospital right now.
Jason: I'm on my way.
Alexis: I'll be right behind you.
Edward: I won't keep you. I just would like to ask you to -- to forget the bad blood that's passed between us and remember how much we all love Brenda. She is a wonderful little girl and -- well, you just let me know if I can help, if she needs anything, all right?
Edward: All right.
A.J.: Oh, it's too bad you didn't get a little good-bye kiss. Might be the last time you ever see the golden boy.
Paramedic: Okay, her BP is 74/52. She's in bradycardic rhythm. We need Ambu-bag.
Officer: Any idea how long she was in the water?
Paramedic: I need blankets.
Nikolas: We just got here.
Paramedic: Turn the heater up on that rig and I'll call the hospital --
Officer: You two know the victim?
Gia: We know of her. Everyone does. Brenda's a famous model, or at least she was until she disappeared. Everyone thought she was dead.
Officer: Was she into anything extreme?
Nikolas: Such as?
Officer: Some weird diving club, for example.
Nikolas: Sir, I don't think we'd have any way of knowing anything like that, okay?
Gia: I wonder what Brenda was doing.
Nikolas: I don't -- I don't know.
Gia: Do you think she was trying to get down to where Alcazar's yacht went down?
Nikolas: Well, anything's possible. I mean, she was held prisoner there. She was probably going after something.
Gia: Unfortunately, we'll never know.
Zander: Emily, hey. What, are you kidding? Of course I remember your birthday. It's like a red-letter day for me in my life. Your parents shipped you off to boarding school to keep you away from me. I came after you. I jumped bail. When I got there, it was your birthday. We were so happy. Remember? We were going to run away together, just me and my Emily. Remember Mexico? You were going to -- I was going to work the boats, you were going to wait tables. You said it didn't matter where we went because as long as we were together -- you remember saying that? You ever think of what would happen if we'd have just done it? If we just said the hell with everybody and just followed our hearts? What do you mean? It wasn't that long ago. Oh, what, all of a sudden now there's -- there's a limit on time that you can care for somebody and how long a promise is kept? No, no. No, no, no. No, nobody's yelling. Nobody's -- it's quiet. Quiet. Yeah, I've -- I've had a beer or two. It's okay. Admit it, Emily. We were good together. No. Breaking up wasn't my idea. But that's not important now, either, you know, things are changing. I'm working for Ned now and things are going better. What is that? Who's that in the background? Wait a second, Emily. I hear somebody. Who is that? Is that your new boyfriend? Huh? Is he going to take you out to a nice birthday dinner, nice expensive birthday dinner? Then what's he going to do, take you home afterwards? Is he going to touch you? Huh? No -- no, no, no, no, no, Emily, don't -- don't hang up, don't. No, please, please, I just wanted to call and wish you a --
Man: Hey, get a grip!
Zander: Get off of me!
Bartender: All right, come on, lover boy!
Zander: Get off!
Bartender: Lover boy, come on!
Mac: Look who's back to see us. What have we got this time?
Officer: Destruction of public property, public drunkenness, disturbing the peace, assault.
Mac: I bet we hit the trifecta on a blood test. You disappoint me, Zander. Just when it looks like you might finally pull your life off the garbage heap, you find new ways of screwing up. I don't suppose you have anything to say for yourself. Fine. That's fine. I'll do the talking. I'm done with the warnings and the second chances. You want to act like a career criminal, I got no problem treating you like one. You got two choices. My guess is you're not going to like either one.
Summer: Oh, yeah! Two games to zero. I'm winning, mm-hmm.
Lucky: You know, I'm finding this all a little hard to believe.
Lucky: You shoot pool, you drink beer out of the bottle, you fix cars for a hobby, you like stock car racing, you got a good sense of humor, and yet you look like you could've stepped off the cover of any fashion magazine on earth. Are you for real?
Summer: You know, I think the jury's still out on that one.
Lucky: That was cryptic.
Summer: Well, you're not the first person who's asked me that lately.
Lucky: Oh, she's mysterious, too.
Summer: Moi? No, no. My life is an open book.
Lucky: Oh, we both know that's not true.
Lucky: You're more like an exotic bloom. Or an onion.
Summer: Oh, gee, thanks.
Lucky: No, I just mean there's a lot of layers of you to get through. And yet, you still haven't given me any answers.
Summer: No. In fact, that's going to start making me uncomfortable, okay?
Lucky: Okay. Well, I didn't bring you here to bring you down, so let me get some refills for us. I'll take you on again?
Summer: You're on.
Lucky: All right.
Man: Summer, is that you?
Barry: Imagine the luck running into you like this. I've been leaving messages on your service day and night. You been out of town?
Summer: Well, actually, I'm here with somebody right now.
Barry: Oh, good for you. So you're work schedule has changed?
Summer: Yeah, it's nonexistent -- I'm out of the business.
Barry: Maybe for some people, but not old Barry. I was one of your first customers; helped put you on the map. So stop playing coy and tell me when I can get a hookup.
Lucky: Are you deaf? Or are you just looking to get your face smashed in?
Courtney: Will you please just go away, A.J., and leave me alone?
A.J.: I want you to understand the life you chose when you walked away from me. Brenda's chances aren't too good. Lake is freezing this time of year, hypothermia sets in in a matter of minutes, and she's such a tiny little thing.
Courtney: What are you saying?
A.J.: If Brenda dies, the prosecution's case lands on Jason. He takes the rap, goes to jail, no get-out-of-jail-free card. Unless, of course, the jury wants to give him the death penalty, in which case you get yourself a nice front-row center seat and really say good-bye.
Courtney: God, you are so jealous of Jason that you would actually prefer it if Brenda died. God, A.J., how hateful are you?
A.J.: Just wanted to give you a heads-up, that's all. You know, understand what you're getting into.
Carly: A.J., leave her alone. Go crawl back into your hole with the other maggots.
A.J.: Oh, Carly babes, you really need to come up with some new material. But you're upset, I won't hold it against you. Trying times for the Corinthos family. I'm sure you'll all need to pull together, you know, reassure each other that everything's going to work out just peachy like they always do. Well, what if this time you're wrong? Just a thought.
Paramedic: Hey, we're here.
Tony: What do we got?
Paramedic: The patient was pulled out of the water. Bystander rescued --
Alan: Any idea what happened?
Nikolas: Hey, Alan. We found her in the lake.
Gia: Nikolas saved Brenda's life.
Paramedic: Bradycardic pulse at 55. Her BP is 74/52 --
Monica: Okay, get her into trauma one, get a warming blanket, get her set up to get her core temperature.
Alexis: Gia, will you get this for me?
Gia: No, this is Gia. Alexis is busy right now. Who's this?
Zander: This is Zander.
Gia: Well, we're in kind of an emergency situation, so can she call you back?
Zander: Uh, not exactly, but she can get me at the PCPD when she gets a chance.
Gia: You've been arrested.
Zander: For fatally attacking a phone. Mac's being a total jerk about it.
Gia: Okay, sit tight. I'll let her know. She'll be there as soon as she can, okay?
Alexis: Who was that?
Gia: Zander -- he's in trouble.
Alexis: Again? Has he been arrested?
Gia: Mm-hmm. He assaulted a phone or something.
Alexis: Great. Listen, I don't have time to deal with that right now, obviously. If you want to go down and take care of it, that's fine. I'll get down there when I can.
Gia: I'm on it.
Jason: What's going on?
Alexis: The details are still sketchy.
Sonny: Is she all right?
Alexis: My understanding is she's unconscious. She's with Jax.
Sonny: Okay, you're her husband. Get Jax out of there, find out what she was doing in that lake.
Jason: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
Scott: What are you two clowns think you're doing? Brenda's involved in a murder investigation. She's under police supervision. Yeah, get lost. You, too -- out.
Jax: Brenda, you're going to be fine. Alan, Monica, and Tony are taking care of you. I'm going to stay right here by your side.
Brenda: Jax --
Jax: Try not to speak, okay? Just rest. What is that?
Barry: Hey, buddy, easy. What's the matter with you, anyway?
Lucky: I got a problem when a guy doesn't know how to take no for an answer. I don't know, I guess I'm funny that way.
Summer: Lucky, please stop.
Lucky: Now, she told you she was with someone.
Barry: Maybe you don't know this, but she used to be a hooker. She was with a lot of guys.
Lucky: Yeah. And now she's not.
Barry: Well, it's the first I'm hearing about it.
Lucky: She told you loud and clear, only you were flapping your mouth about the next time you could see her.
Barry: Look, I'm sorry.
Lucky: You're not sorry enough.
Barry: No, man, I mean it. I'm really sorry.
Summer: Lucky, please, he did not know. Let it go.
Barry: Good luck with this lunatic.
Summer: You really liked that, didn't you?
Summer: Well, some guys just get off on dating hookers because they like the drama, and you're one of them, aren't you?
Zander: What are you doing here?
Gia: I'm the cavalry.
Zander: Where the hell is Alexis?
Gia: In case you haven't heard, she's in the middle of a murder trial. So she sent me.
Zander: You're not an attorney, Gia.
Gia: No, but I'm all you've got at the moment, except for a bunch of really mad cops who are sick of seeing your face and think it's time to feed you to the system. So if I were you, I'd be real careful on what you choose to say to me next, Zander.
Zander: Cops -- look, I'll tell you what they're going to do next. They're going to throw me in the drunk tank, let me sleep this off. Then they're going to make me pay for the phone that I broke and apologize to the guy I hit, then it's going to be over.
Mac: Not that easy this time. You're out of control, Zander, you need help. So here are you choices -- agree to counseling or go to jail.
Jason: My wife was just fished out of the lake. She's unconscious. For all I know, she might not make it. No one's going to stop me from seeing her, especially you.
Alexis: Wait, I need to talk to you.
Alexis: Is this a setup?
Jason: Are you kidding me?
Alexis: No, I'm not kidding. Because if you and Sonny are up to something and I'm defending you, I --
Jason: Sonny and I have nothing to do with this, okay, and I can't tell you anything until I talk to Brenda.
Jax: It's a safety-deposit box key. What do you want me to do with it?
Brenda: Go to First Bank.
Jason: That's my wife in there, okay? I want everybody away from her except medical personnel unless I say it's okay.
Scott: Go with him.
Officer: Sorry, Mr. Jacks. Her husband's here now. You'll have to leave.
Jax: I'll be back. I'll be back, you can count on it.
Sonny: Jax? What did Brenda give you?
Sonny: Don't deny it. I saw she gave you something. What is it?
Skye: Do you suppose this means there really is a god?
Coleman: Yeah, well, Brenda's not dead yet.
Skye: One can only hope.
Coleman: You don't mean that.
Skye: Don't kid yourself.
Coleman: You can't fool me, Skye. Okay, you aren't nearly as hard and cold inside as you try to come off. Because if you were, you wouldn't be in so much pain.
Skye: Gee, Coleman. Thanks for reminding me.
A.J.: What's this, a meeting of the minds? What's going on?
Skye: You know what? I really don't think people should see this little threesome casually chatting. Why don't you boys just talk amongst yourselves.
A.J.: You know where she's going.
Coleman: Bathroom, maybe.
A.J.: Yeah. With her flask.
Coleman: Yeah, well, she's a grown woman, okay?
A.J.: Who talks a lot when she's drunk. Now if she starts indiscriminately shooting off her big mouth, we could be in big trouble here. Now, paying off Ida -- that's one thing. The woman's now dead. That spells murder, in case you haven't noticed.
Coleman: Yeah, well, if you'd calm down and take a look at the bigger picture, you'd realize that Ida's murder works to our advantage, okay?
A.J.: "Calm down"? I'm worried about my sister, okay? She's a loaded weapon. And this judge wants to keep this trial moving. Court will be in session the next possible day. Now, Skye is a scheduled witness. She gets on that stand, Alexis will have her for lunch. And if she's drunk, forget about it. All hell can break loose. We could be pounding license plates in Sing Sing.
Coleman: Stop twittering like a schoolgirl, would you? It makes you look guilty as hell. You know, and as for Skye, don't worry about it. I'll handle her.
Carly: Hey. I know it's hard, but try to ignore A.J. He's going to use anything he can to get to you.
Courtney: He got to me, Carly. I mean, Jason could be in even more trouble and it's just killing me not to be with him.
Carly: Courtney, you're scaring me. You're beginning to act too much like me.
Zander: This some kind of joke?
Mac: Look at me. Am I smiling?
Zander: Forget it. I'm not going to a shrink. I'll do my time.
Mac: No sweat off my back. Just know what you're signing up for, Zander. It won't be a slap on the wrist. You'll be thrown in with the real bad boys. So maybe you'll only serve 18 months, but that's plenty of time to get a hardcore education from hell and kill your soul. You'll hit the streets, and you won't be able to remember a time when you weren't empty inside. And then, you know what? You'll be back because guys like you always are. You'll pull another 25 years, and then one day you'll die.
Zander: I'm shaking in my boots.
Mac: You ought to be.
Gia: Mac, do you mind if I have a few minutes alone with him, please?
Mac: Fine. I'm tired of wasting my breath.
Zander: Save yours.
Gia: Oh, stop talking, you're wasted. You're running your mouth without even thinking, playing your stupid macho act. What you need to do is shut up and listen before you make the worst decision of your life. This is a crossroad, Zander. Pay attention.
Zander: All right, look. I'm not going to be able to make you go away, so whatever you're thinking, go ahead.
Gia: First, tell me what happened tonight to set you off. Was it Emily?
Zander: What made you pull that out of the air?
Gia: I recognize the symptoms. You both know I wasn't one of your biggest fans -- I didn't like Emily much, either -- but I don't know. You guys -- I guess you just grew on me.
Zander: Must've been that night at the prom.
Gia: The point is I saw how much you guys loved each other, how different you were when Emily was around. You got nicer, a guy any girl would be lucky to have hanging around. Emily gave you your heart, Zander, not to mention she saved your life. Those are gifts that you have to honor. Don't treat them like they don't mean anything. That's a disservice to Emily.
Zander: You think I should see a shrink?
Gia: Yes, and I think you should be grateful Mac's giving you a choice. You've gone through a lot of chances, Zander. Eventually they're going to run out. And who knows? A little therapy might be a good thing.
Zander: All right. I guess stranger things have happened. I just can't think of any at the moment.
Gia: So you'll do it?
Zander: Yeah, I'll do it.
Lucky: I'm going to be honest with you. I haven't had vast experiences with, what, ladies of the night.
Summer: Please, "hooker."
Lucky: Okay, hooker. Well, I did know a few. I went to see one when I was pretty young.
Summer: Get out of here.
Lucky: Nothing happened, it was just -- well, I take that back, something did happen. I didn't have sex with a hooker, but I did stumble into the conclusion that I was in love with my girlfriend.
Summer: That's sweet.
Lucky: It was. It didn't work out. Anyway, what happened here tonight wasn't about you. He pushed a button with me about how a man is supposed to respond to a woman when she says no.
Summer: Lucky, have you known somebody that was raped?
Lucky: Two. So I'm sorry if I came off a little strong.
Summer: No, no, no, no, no. I should be the one to apologize. I practically called you a pervert.
Lucky: I'm sure you meant it in the nicest possible way.
Summer: Of course. Is that offer to take me home still on the table?
Lucky: You bet.
Summer: Good. There's a catch.
Lucky: What's that?
Summer: I got to make a detour by Kelly's. I am notorious for forgetting my scarf.
Lucky: Well, that doesn't sound like a catch to me. We get to spend more time together. Sounds like a deal. Here.
Lucky: You ready? After you.
Carly: I know you are worried about Jason. I know you want to be with him, but you cannot go barging into that hospital and get into the middle of this.
Courtney: Okay, but I won't even talk to him. I just need to know what's --
Carly: Do you ever listen to what I say? Learn from my experience, okay? Just stay out of it for a minute.
Courtney: Carly, I don't know how to do that.
Carly: Well, you need to learn if you want to be with Jason as badly as you say you do. Look at Elizabeth. She could not handle it, and look where they are now. It's part of the package, you know? It's the price that we pay for loving men like Sonny and Jason. We've got to follow the unwritten rules if we want to stay in their lives.
Courtney: You know what? To hell with the rules. I'm going to go see Jason.
Carly: No -- I --
Jax: I don't answer to you, Corinthos.
Sonny: Like it or not, our fates are tied for now. Either we get out alive or nobody does. Can you at least agree on that?
Jax: What's your point?
Sonny: My point is if she gave you something that's going to help the case, you need to share that information.
Jax: Brenda gave me a ring that she was hanging on to.
Sonny: So where you going now?
Jax: For a walk in the park.
Jason: I know you were found wearing a wetsuit. And I figure you were, you know, looking for something on Alcazar's yacht, and you probably just told Jax what it was. Brenda, I don't want to do this, but I will if I have to. You need to tell me what you were looking for or I'm going to have to have Sonny's --
Brenda: Uh-uh. Uh-uh.
Jason: Sonny's guys pick up Jax. Jax went out on his own last time. It didn't turn out too good, did it?
Brenda: I had to get something from the yacht.
Jason: What'd you have to get?
Brenda: The bank called me to tell me that they were going to seize -- ahem -- all of Luis' safety-deposit boxes. He left everything to me.
Jason: Where's the key?
Brenda: Jax has it. I need to get those boxes before the police do. Let him handle this, please.
Jason: It would be safer if Sonny handled it.
Brenda: It's not going to be good for Sonny's relationship if he gets any more personally involved in this.
Scott: Oh. She's okay. You gave us a little scare there, but the doctors say you're going to be all right.
Brenda: Beat it.
Scott: So let me ask you something -- what were you doing in the lake in a wetsuit in the middle of winter?
Scott: Freezing water, huh?
Scott: I see.
Jason: You have official business? Because if you don't, I'll have you thrown out of the hospital.
Scott: Oh, yeah, when you get in trouble, call the parents.
Jason: Yeah, actually I will if it gets you out of here, Scotty.
Scott: I'll see you both in court.
Jason: Look, don't let him get to you.
Brenda: I don't know if I can do this anymore.
Jason: Come on. You said you can do anything. You always tell me that.
Brenda: I'm sorry I wasn't in court.
Jason: Don't worry about it. Neither of us is going down for this. You should get some rest. The doctor said you almost died from hypothermia.
Brenda: I didn't.
Jason: Did it ever occur to you to tell me what you were doing?
Brenda: Oh --
Jason: I could've hired a diver. You didn't have to go in a lake in the middle of January.
Brenda: I got the key, didn't I?
Jason: Yeah, but you almost died.
Brenda: Well, I didn't. I don't think I'm ever going to die.
Jason: It's kind of brave that you went after that key.
Brenda: You know what? Don't compliment me. It's so weird.
Jason: That's not a compliment.
Brenda: It's just totally unnatural.
Jason: I'm stating a fact that it was kind of brave of you to take a risk like that.
Brenda: Well, you're just not used to being around brave girls.
Jason: You know, you went through all that, then you gave the key to Jax? That was kind of stupid.
Brenda: Right. You know, could you leave me alone now?
Jason: Hey, I thought you were at the courthouse.
Courtney: Yeah, well, now I kind of wish I was.
Zander: I have no use for morons who play God with people's heads, but you're my get-out-of-jail-free card, so what the hell.
Zander: Did you set this up?
Cameron: I had no idea. Look -- I'm sorry. I'll -- I'll have you reassigned.
Zander: Yeah, that's it, Dad, walk away just like you always do.
Summer: I had so much fun tonight.
Lucky: Even after I turned into a raging pit bull?
Summer: Oh, I've seen worse.
Lucky: Oh. Does that mean that I might be able to see you again?
Summer: I could be persuaded.
Lucky: I'm really glad to hear that.
Skye: What? Give -- give me that.
Coleman: Look, I know what you're thinking, okay? If Brenda dies, you got another shot at Jax, right? That's not going to happen. And drinking yourself blind every day will not change that cold, hard fact.
Skye: What do you know about Jax, huh? What do you know about anything?
Coleman: Well, I know when there's been too much bad blood. You got too many things that can't be taken back or forgiven. I know about that. It's time that you faced the truth -- you're not getting back with Jax. So start building a life that doesn't figure him in, like now.
Coleman: Look, you can't blow this testimony today.
Skye: Look, I'll be fine, okay? I know how to make Brenda look guilty.
Coleman: Yeah, well, you also need to make yourself look good, okay? Or at least don't make it look like you killed the guy.
Skye: Oh. That's very reassuring of you. Thank you very much.
Coleman: Yeah, well, look at it this way, honey, okay? If you blow this testimony today, everything we've done is for nothing.
Skye: Hey. You know, can we agree that nobody gets to grab that flask out of my hand for the rest of the day, huh?
A.J.: I don't want you drunk on the stand.
Skye: Oh, don't worry about it, little brother. Brenda's half dead in the hospital. I'm sure they'll postpone this thing until God knows when.
Alexis: Your honor, I had no idea that my client would -- would dive into a lake in the middle of January.
Judge: I have a low threshold of histrionics, Ms. Davis, and no reason to postpone this trial.
Alexis: Your honor, my client obviously is feeling desperate and she wasn't thinking clearly.
Scott: Mrs. Morgan has proven herself a flight risk. She left the country knowing there was a warrant for her arrest.
Alexis: And she came right back.
Scott: She had every intention of leaving, too.
Judge: Stop the bickering, okay? Can either of you give me a sound reason why this trial should not commence?
Alexis: Your honor, I can give you two reasons. First of all, I've just taken over the case for one of my clients, and the other reason is that my other client is having a medical emergency.
Judge: And let me add, of her own making.
Alexis: Ms. Morgan's doctors will not let her enter this courtroom.
Scott: Well, now, that may not be a problem.
Sonny: I'll take it from here.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Lucky: What about this other guy in your life?
Jason: What's going on?
Courtney: You looked pretty close in there.
Judge: The trial will commence in the next 20 minutes.
Sonny: I need to see what's in there before anybody else does.
Zander: You been deer hunting lately?
Cameron: You been waiting a long time to say that, haven't you?
