Ric: I need to speak to Sonny. Do you know where he is?
Carly: I told you, he's busy.
Ric: Busy or out of town? Carly, I need to know the truth.
Carly: Sonny is working on a very important project right now. Ric, he may not be able to get back to you for a few days.
Ric: Look, Jason's been charged with murder. Whatever Sonny may be doing can't be more important than this trial.
Carly: It is.
Ric: But you're not at liberty to tell me what that is.
Carly: That's right.
Ric: Carly, I'm at a critical juncture in Jason's defense. This can't wait.
Carly: Well, it's going to have to.
Ric: Well, maybe not -- if you act on your husband's behalf.
Carly: No way.
Ric: Carly, I need your help.
Carly: Ric, I've been there, I've done that. It was a fiasco. No, the answer is no.
Ric: You and Sonny are the only two people who can influence Jason. Now, unless you do something right now, this murder trial could end very badly for him.
Brenda: Ow. Okay, he's out of champagne, so I had to use --
Jason: What are you --
Both: What are you doing here?
Jason: What am I -- I live here.
Brenda: Yeah, well, thanks to you, so do I.
Jason: Yeah, well, it looks like you're really suffering.
Brenda: Would you like some breakfast?
Jason: No, thank you. With champagne?
Brenda: No, actually, they're beer mimosas, because I don't know if you know this, but you're out of champagne and you need some.
Jason: Well, I don't really carry champagne. I'm sorry.
Brenda: I need you to put it on the grocery list. I can't live in a place that doesn't have champagne.
Jason: Be careful with this because you look like you're going to drop it, and you got to pick up some clothing --
Brenda: I'm not going to drop it. Why don't you pick up the clothing? And by the way, the dishes need to be done.
Jax: Good morning.
Jason: Oh, yeah --
Brenda: What, you want me to do the dishes?
Jax: Morning. Hi.
Brenda: You think God created women to do dishes?
Jason: You know, you bake. You can at least pick up a dish.
Brenda: Guess what -- I made eggs.
Jax: Looks good, looks good.
Brenda: They're good, right? I didn't even burn them.
Jason: Hey, Jax -- hey -- go home.
Coleman: A little early, isn't it? Hey, have you had breakfast?
Skye: Oh, breakfast is the last thing on my mind.
Coleman: Oh, you need something more than a liquid diet. I'll tell you what -- French toast, Kelly's, on me.
Skye: I can't believe food is on your mind at this very moment.
Coleman: Why not? I'm starving.
Skye: It doesn't bother you in the least that we killed poor Ida?
A.J.: My wife hasn't been sleeping at home? Are you sure?
Man: I've had the apartment under constant surveillance.
A.J.: She isn't wasting any time.
Man: Do you want me to keep watching the apartment?
A.J.: No. I want you to follow Courtney day and night. I want to know where she goes and who she sees.
Woman: Morning, dear. I brought you a key to the mailbox.
Courtney: Oh. Thanks, Ms. Willis.
Ms. Willis: I passed a newsstand on my way to buy cat food and saw something else you might be interested in.
Courtney: "Married men: The fast track to nowhere. How to jump off the denial express." Okay.
Lucky: I'm entitled to a phone call.
Scott: Be my guest. But you're free to go.
Lucky: What? Just like that?
Scott: Just like that, or we could update your mug shot.
Lucky: I'd rather not be arrested at all. And in fact, I have a good mind to go down to Alexis Davis' office and file a harassment suit against you.
Scott: Be my guest.
Lucky: You think you're above the law? Alexis is going to wipe that stupid grin off your face. What's Laura doing in there?
Scott: She's here for questioning. Lucky, she's under arrest.
Lucky: Talking to somebody is not against the law.
Scott: Prostitution is. Your pal is a hooker.
Scott: Yeah, maybe if you lost that chip on your shoulder, got a decent haircut, you might get a girl.
Lucky: Come on, Baldwin. You were the one hitting on her. She blew you off. You had her arrested on false charges. Doesn't get any sadder than that.
Scott: Why would I do that?
Lucky: Because you've been twisting the law to fit your own personal agenda since day one. You know, you're the most corrupt D.A., well, I think this town's ever seen.
Scott: And you are in denial about your friend in there.
Lucky: Oh, why don't you save it, Baldwin? Really, I mean, my mom already rejected you, my aunt blew you off. You can't get a date to save your life because every woman sees you for what you really are.
Scott: I'm not the one that's out there soliciting hookers.
Lucky: Oh, you know damn well she and I are both innocent.
Scott: What I do know is you got your hand caught in the cookie jar and you're taking the offense instead of fessing up to it. Well, that's your problem. Now if you'll excuse me, Lucky, I've got to go interrogate somebody.
Lucky: Let her go.
Scott: Taggert --
Lucky: You want two harassment lawsuits?
Taggert: Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Summer: I have been asking for a lawyer all night.
Scott: Nice to see you again, too. I didn't know that. Nobody told me.
Summer: I'm not saying anything without an attorney present.
Scott: Well, you know what? I'm an attorney, and maybe for once in my life I'm in the right place at the right time.
Summer: For God's sake, what is this all about?
Scott: Well, you're going to help me unravel a mystery.
Summer: What mystery? I have done nothing wrong. You've got no reason to arrest me.
Scott: Let me give you a hint -- it's about sex, lies, and the very powerful elite.
Coleman: What are you talking about? We didn't kill Ida.
Skye: Oh, please. We might as well have put that noose around her neck.
Coleman: Look, don't be melodramatic, okay?
Skye: No, you and I are the reason that that poor woman is dead.
Coleman: How do you figure?
Skye: She committed suicide. Now come on, put the pieces together. She obviously couldn't live with the lie that we forced on her.
Coleman: Whoa, whoa, stop right there. We didn't force her to do anything. Okay, we paid her.
Skye: Yeah, well, obviously her conscience must've been weighing on her.
Coleman: Oh, come on. She jumped at the offer. What are you talking about? Hell, she was having the time of her life, soaking up all that publicity and planning what she was going to do with all that bread.
Skye: Well, then she -- she didn't commit suicide. Oh, my God. Somebody killed her to shut her up. Oh, my God.
Coleman: Maybe, you know?
Skye: Then it was Jason. What if Jason comes after us next?
Coleman: Skye, Ida's story was already on record. Now, why would Jason knock her off now? It would just make her look like a martyred saint and him like a psychopath.
Skye: Well, he is.
Coleman: Well, hey, what did Ida's death get Jason? Huh? What did he get? Exactly. Nothing. Now, whoever killed Ida -- if anybody killed Ida -- they did it to stop her from saying something she hadn't already said.
Skye: Well, now, that makes sense. But Jason isn't exactly a master of logic. I mean he just does things, like a machine.
Coleman: Well, he's professional. But he doesn't panic and he doesn't do anything without a reason.
Skye: All I know is my brother scares the living daylights out of me.
Coleman: You do have a scary brother. But it's not Jason.
A.J.: Courtney works here, okay? Now, I want you to wait for her here, and when she leaves, you stick to her like glue. I want to know every move she makes. You got that? And do not let her out of your sight.
Man: Hi. Do you work here?
Man: I'm an insurance claims adjuster. I'm looking for Courtney Quartermaine. Is she expected in today?
Elizabeth: I'm not sure. I'm going to have to check the schedule.
Courtney's voice: Courtney and Rosie aren't in right now. Leave a message at the sound of the bark.
[answering machine beeps]
Carly: Don't tell me that Scott has trumped up more phony evidence.
Ric: No. The most compelling piece of evidence against Jason is Jason himself. He refuses to get up on the stand and say "I didn't do it."
Carly: You're going to have to work around that.
Ric: Carly, a judge can tell a jury that failure to testify is not an admission of guilt, and they will understand it intellectually. But in their hearts, a defendant's silence means that he has something to hide.
Carly: Oh, Jason has a lot to hide. He works for Sonny.
Ric: No, the details of his job are immaterial.
Carly: Oh, come on. Ric, you know that as soon as Scott gets to cross-examine Jason, he is going to pull out every bit of dirty laundry that he can. And Jason's going to have to answer, because he's been sworn to tell the truth, the whole truth, and yada, yada, yada.
Ric: I can protect him.
Carly: Oh, how?
Ric: By -- by objecting to everything that isn't relevant to the case.
Carly: Okay. Let's say that you do get Scott to back off. Jason's not going to play up to a jury.
Ric: He can be coached to project a sympathetic, sincere, even law-abiding persona.
Carly: No, never happen.
Ric: I have had success with this sort of thing before.
Carly: Yeah, but Jason is Jason. Okay, he is either going to tell you the truth or he's going to sit on that witness stand and he's going to stare at you and not say anything.
Carly: No amount of plotting and coaching and preaching and -- none of that is going to change him because Jason is going to be Jason. He's not going to do something he doesn't believe in.
Ric: What if Sonny were to order him?
Carly: You really need his testimony?
Ric: To say that he didn't kill Alcazar? Yeah, I think so.
Carly: And if he just plain refuses?
Ric: He has to do it, Carly. It's a matter of life and death -- his own.
Jax: I thought I made myself clear that I don't take orders from you.
Jason: Well --
Brenda: Jax --
Jason: You know, I thought I made myself clear. I don't want you here.
Brenda: You said that it was okay if I had him over as long as I was careful.
Jason: Yeah, well, that was before, you know, Jax decided to sell me out to Baldwin.
Brenda: No, no, no, no, that's not going to happen.
Jason: Well, he wants Alexis to cut a deal for your freedom, Brenda.
Brenda: Yeah, I know. What are you worried about? You know I'd never sell you out.
Jax: I still think you should distance yourself from Jason.
Brenda: Well, how am I going to distance myself --
Jax: I'm not going to let her go to jail because of you.
Jason: No one's going to jail, Jax.
[Knock on door]
Jason: Are you going to put -- slip a robe on or something? You just stand around here -- Alexis, what do you want?
Alexis: I'm here to see my client. Good morning.
Alexis: Have you reconsidered the hypnosis?
Jason: What hypnosis?
Brenda: Well, I've decided to be hypnotized.
Brenda: See, if I'm hypnotized, I can remember every single detail that happened that night -- and maybe it'll help us find the real killer.
Jax: Well, whatever the results, we need the option of keeping them private.
Alexis: I'll arrange that.
Jason: Why would you need to?
Jax: Because Brenda's memories may hurt her case.
Jason: They won't, because Brenda didn't kill Alcazar.
Jax: That's not the point. There's a lot of evidence against her, okay? So we need to protect the results, no matter what.
Jason: Am I the only one who believes that Brenda didn't kill Alcazar?
Brenda: It doesn't matter. I've already made my decision. So, when can we set this up?
Coleman: I mean, Jason's cold as ice, but A.J.? I mean, he's one sick puppy.
Skye: A.J.'s not dangerous.
Coleman: Who are you kidding?
Skye: I know my brother.
Coleman: Yeah, well, then you know he's paranoid. He's a pathological liar, destructive, even to himself. Come on. No loyalty with A.J.
Skye: A.J.'s always been loyal to me.
Coleman: Oh, yeah? You sure about that?
Skye: Yeah, look -- yes, A.J. has made some pretty bad mistakes, okay? But who hasn't? You? Me? Please.
Coleman: Yeah, well, A.J.'s mind goes to very, very dark places, okay?
Skye: And he admits it, at least to me.
Coleman: Yeah. Well, just do yourself a favor and keep your eyes open.
Skye: You know, A.J. is the only person in my entire family who loves and accepts me for me, okay? The least I can do is love him back.
Coleman: Yeah, well, he doesn't deserve you.
Skye: He's the only friend I have.
Coleman: I'm your friend.
Skye: Right. Let's see, only when I can give you what you want, like a little quickie sex or maybe some access to people with some money?
Coleman: Yeah, well, that's the definition of friendship -- I scratch your back and you scratch mine.
Skye: When exactly did you "scratch mine"?
Coleman: Well, I think I took the rap for you when you hit Nikolas Cassadine with your car, didn't I? And I think I literally saved your life when you were passed-out drunk --
Skye: Yeah, okay --
Coleman: Freezing on a park bench --
Skye: All right, yes, you've been decent to me once or twice, it's true, but A.J. has been good to me since the day we met.
Coleman: A.J. doesn't play fair, okay? I mean, you saw how he treated his wife, right?
Skye: That was a unique situation.
Coleman: Yes, exactly. He showed just how low he could go.
Skye: Listen, you're being too hard on him, okay?
Coleman: Listen -- okay, you know what? You want to scratch his back? Fine, scratch it. But don't show him yours, because if he panics, I guarantee he's going to rip you to shreds.
A.J.: Thanks for those insights. What would Skye and I do without you, Coleman?
Scott: So why don't you tell me a little story?
Summer: I'm not the creative type.
Scott: How about the truth? Because, you know, I'm a sucker for, like, you know, glamour, revenge, seduction.
Summer: You've got the wrong person.
Lucky: Scott's harassing Summer for blowing him off. I was there when he came on to her.
Taggert: You have a well-known grudge against the D.A., Spencer. Give it a rest.
Lucky: Come on, Taggert. This is payback. Scott Baldwin is slime, man. You're going to just sit back here and let him abuse his power like that? It infects the integrity of everybody who works here.
Taggert: The lady has a rap sheet for solicitation. You want to see it?
Lucky: Then Baldwin trumped it up.
Taggert: No, he didn't.
Lucky: Listen, Laura didn't do anything.
Taggert: But she's a hooker.
Lucky: Okay. Even if she is -- which I seriously doubt -- since when do D.A.'s interrogate hookers? What's really going on in there, Taggert? What's going on behind that closed door?
Scott: So what did you do to Sen. Jordan that got him so steamed up that he called in a favor and had you held overnight?
Summer: I have no idea what you're talking about.
Scott: Well, whatever -- it must've been good because he was really lathered up.
Summer: Oh, shut up. Get out of my face!
Taggert: Hey, could I talk to you a moment there, sir?
Scott: Yeah, okay.
Lucky: We're going to the media as soon as you're released.
Summer: No. No, we're not.
Lucky: Oh, come on, Laura. Scott Baldwin's out of control. He's got this phony rap sheet that says that you're a prostitute. He lies, he cheats, he struts around this place like he owns the whole damn department. But not anymore, because it's over. I'm going to blow this guy sky-high.
Summer: What if I am a prostitute?
Lucky: Okay. Are you?
Lucky: All right.
Summer: But I was.
Elizabeth: I'm sorry. Courtney's not working today.
Man: So she won't be in?
Elizabeth: No. And I'm not sure about tomorrow, either. The new schedule hasn't been posted yet.
Man: I'll stop by in the morning.
Elizabeth: Wait, you know what? As a matter of fact, why don't you call tomorrow to see if Courtney is going to be in? We're doing this new five-day schedule, and she -- we -- you know, she might not even be in 'til early next week.
Man: Thank you.
Elizabeth: You're welcome.
Courtney: So, what was that all about?
Elizabeth: A.J.'s having you followed.
Courtney: That guy was a detective?
Elizabeth: Mm-hmm. He told A.J. that you haven't been sleeping at home.
Courtney: Oh, my God.
Elizabeth: Yeah, he's -- he's pretty furious. A.J. wants the P.I. to find out where you've been. Where have you been, by the way?
Elizabeth: I don't mean to pry, but something's obviously bothering you.
Courtney: You're right.
Elizabeth: Is it A.J.? I mean, is he harassing you so much you're scared to stay at home?
Courtney: Actually, you know what? It's -- it's my dad. He's been gambling again and drinking too much, and -- I don't know. That whole thing that happened with Sonny really upset him. And I just don't think that he's really gotten over it.
Elizabeth: Mm-hmm, I can understand that.
Courtney: So, anyway, I -- I've been spending time with him. You know, sleeping some nights on his couch.
Elizabeth: Oh -- hey, guys.
Lucas: Hey, guys, what's up?
Maxie: Lucas has been telling us about some awesome old club space in the basement.
Elizabeth: Yeah, it's pretty amazing.
Georgie: Carly must've been blown away when she knocked down the wall and found it.
Lucas: Can we go down and see it?
Courtney: Yeah, sure, I don't see why not. I mean, I'm sure Carly wouldn't mind.
Lucas: All right, cool.
Courtney: Hey, Jason, it's me. Listen, I need to see you right away.
Elizabeth: Is everything okay?
Courtney: Um -- you know, that was Mike. He's having a really bad day. I know this is a lot to ask, but do you think that maybe you could get someone to cover for me so I could go see him?
Elizabeth: Yeah, sure.
Courtney: Thanks. I owe you.
Mike: Hey, Elizabeth, it's Mike. Can I speak to my daughter?
Elizabeth: Yeah, Courtney's in the middle of something, but let me grab her for you.
Mike: No, don't bother. Just tell her to call when she gets a chance. Yeah, I know she's been busy, but we haven't talked in a while. I miss my little girl.
Elizabeth: Yeah, I'll give her the message.
Courtney: Hey, Elizabeth, thanks again. I really appreciate it.
Elizabeth: Sure. No problem.
Courtney: I'll see you later.
Elizabeth: Penny, would you cover for us? I'll -- I'll be right back, I promise.
Penny: Okay. Sure.
Maxie: This place is amazing.
Lucas: Yeah -- not that Carly will ever let us in once this place is up and running.
Georgie: Age limits are so pointless.
Maxie: Yeah. Well, I bet it used to be full of kids our age.
Georgie: Yeah, well, maybe we could sneak in with some fake I.D.'s.
Lucas: Yeah, with Carly at the door, that'd be really easy. She'd boot us the minute she saw us.
Georgie: Well, what if we convinced her to, you know, have, like, a 16-and-over night just a couple nights a week?
Maxie: Yeah, I don't think Carly would go for that.
Georgie: Well, Lucas could turn on the charm. You know, convince her it's a great idea. Right?
Lucas: Yeah. I could do that.
Maxie: I bet she only wants the older crowd. I mean, she is technically your sister, but she's more like an aunt to you.
Lucas: Yeah. Oh, she's pretty cool. I mean, I'm sure I can talk her into it.
A.J.: I'm touched by your concern for my sister's well-being.
Coleman: Yeah, well, I'm just calling it like I see it.
A.J.: You've been very helpful. Ida was a masterstroke. And now that she's passed away, your services are no longer needed.
Coleman: Yeah, well, I'm not -- I'm not offering services. I'm speaking to your sister.
A.J.: Skye's got enough on her mind.
Coleman: Well, that's for her to decide.
A.J.: You did your job, you were compensated. Now it's time for you to go away.
Coleman: What do you want?
Skye: A.J. and I are a team.
Coleman: Watch your back.
A.J.: Coleman actually thought he could turn you against me?
Skye: Guess so.
A.J.: Well, I'm surprised he doesn't know that we understand each other. We back each other up.
Skye: Yeah. I guess he just doesn't know you the way that I do.
A.J.: Skye? Did Coleman say something to shake you up?
Skye: Look, it -- it's Ida's death. He doesn't think that Jason did it.
A.J.: Jason's a hit man.
Skye: If Jason did murder Ida, what if I'm next?
A.J.: You're not. You're not. I promise you, you're not in danger. Okay? Jason has more important things to worry about -- like a lifetime in prison?
Carly: Hey. We need to talk.
Jason: Well, I'm on my way out right now.
Carly: Well, it's a matter of life and death.
Jason: Well, you look like you're alive, so maybe we can talk later.
Carly: Jason -- I listen to you whenever you tell me you think that I'm screwing up, right?
Jason: Look, I don't have time for this right now, Carly.
Carly: I feel this is really important for me to say that I think that you're being your own worst enemy here. Soon, your life is going to be in the hands of a bunch of jurors who don't know you from a hole in the wall. And if you sit at that table and you don't say anything, they could --
Jason: Ric has been working you.
Carly: He's smart, Jason. He went to an ivy league school, and he thinks that he can coach you on the right things to say --
Jason: Okay, that's -- you know what? I don't trust Ric. I'm just going to tell you that right now, okay? I don't want him coaching me. I'm not going to testify. He's not going to train me or hypnotize me.
Carly: But -- okay, who said anything about hypnotizing?
Jason: Brenda decided to let herself be hypnotized.
Carly: Oh, you're kidding. Why?
Jason: Because she's Brenda and she does whatever she wants. And she's at the hospital right now.
Carly: So is that where you're going now?
Jason: No, it's not, actually.
Ric: Oh, Jason, I'm glad you're here. We need to discuss --
Jason: Ric, you know what? When I say no, I mean no, okay? And don't ever use Carly to get to me again.
Ric: Well, thanks for trying.
Carly: For the good it did.
Ric: Look, I don't understand what his problem is. Does he want to be convicted?
Carly: No, I think his problem is more personal. He doesn't like you or trust you.
Ric: Well, if we all liked and trusted the people we worked with, nothing in this world would ever get done.
Brenda: And I just have been thinking about it and thinking about it ever since -- you remember when Jax said that I should go with an insanity plea? Of course you remember. So I -- I was just thinking, you know, if I was hypnotized, then I could remember every single little detail about what happened -- not that I forgot, but -- maybe I did.
Cameron: Well, the hypnosis should cure that.
Brenda: Yeah. Okay, so, should I do something? Or -- what do I do?
Cameron: It's very simple. I'll put you into a relaxed state and then lead you into a sequence of events. We'll see what emerges.
Brenda: Okay. It's just -- what -- I'm sorry. I'm a little nervous. I mean, what if I remember a really important detail? And I'll feel stupid --
Jax: Well, that's the whole point of this, though, is to remember the details, so, you're doing the right thing.
Cameron: Why don't you two sit over there?
Cameron: Brenda, have a seat.
Brenda: Okay. Should I just sit here?
Cameron: That'll be fine.
Brenda: Should I put my coat here?
Cameron: Wherever you like.
Brenda: Okay. Ahem.
Cameron: Now sit comfortably.
Cameron: Feel yourself start to relax. Close your eyes. Now relax your toes.
Brenda: My toes.
Cameron: Breathe. Relax your feet.
Taggert: Sign the release form and you're free to go.
Summer: Thank you for getting me released.
Lucky: I can't take the credit.
Summer: But I saw you talking to the D.A.
Lucky: I yelled at Baldwin. I tried to reason with Taggert, who stonewalled me. There was a fax that came through. I think that's why you got released.
Summer: I owe you an apology.
Lucky: You didn't do anything wrong.
Summer: Yes, I did.
Lucky: If you're talking about your former line of work, it's --
Summer: No. No, I made those choices, and I make no apologies for that. But it is my fault that you spent the night in jail.
Lucky: No, see, Baldwin was out to get you. I've seen the kind of damage he can do.
Summer: No, I did the damage. I was dating a powerful, controlling jerk. He was a senator. He was obsessed with his power. And I broke it off. He couldn't handle it. I stayed hidden for a long time, but he caught up with me.
Lucky: So he pulled a few strings, had you arrested --
Summer: Which is why you spent the night in jail.
Lucky: No, see, that guy's the creep. I mean, that -- it's not your fault.
Summer: I know. I just want this to be over.
Lucky: Is he the regular gig you were talking about?
Summer: No. That guy's got nothing to do with hooking. In fact, he's the one that gave me the courage to leave the life.
Lucky: So it's a good thing.
Summer: It's more than a good thing. Honestly, he's the best thing that's happened to me in a long time.
Taggert: I need that release form, please.
Summer: Signed on the dotted line.
Taggert: That's it, then. You're free to go.
Summer: So, when I see you on campus, I won't be expecting you to say hi.
Courtney: Hey! Hey, girl! Aw, did you miss me? Did you miss me? Yeah, I missed you, too. Come on, sweetie, come on. Come on, I'm here now. And guess what -- he's coming, too!
Carly: Once Jason makes up his mind about something, that's pretty much it. A tornado couldn't get him to budge.
Ric: Well, that's heartening.
Carly: It's a fact. Jason's not going to testify.
Carly: And it doesn't matter what you say, it's not going to change. He doesn't like you. And if you haven't noticed, Sonny doesn't, either.
Ric: You're just making my ego soar.
Carly: Well, I like you, if it counts for anything.
Ric: Oh, well, thanks for the vote of confidence.
Carly: Although it is completely self-serving, because you're going to help me make my club become a fabulous success.
Carly: But no matter how much money our club starts bringing in, I don't think Sonny's going to hire you. So if that's your ultimate goal --
Ric: You know, I will worry about the future when it comes. Besides, right now, between the club and Jason's defense, my plate's pretty full.
Carly: I'm sure it is.
Ric: Oh, speaking of which, I need to talk to Brenda. Do you have any idea how I can get a hold of her?
Carly: She's at the hospital, getting hypnotized. Yeah, she thinks that maybe it'll help her remember something about the night of Alcazar's murder. What's wrong?
Ric: Nothing -- Alexis Davis and I are supposed to be coordinating our defenses, and how can we do that if she's just going off on her own?
Cameron: So you get off the elevator. You go to Luis Alcazar's room. You knock on the door. What happens next?
Brenda: He answers. He's in a robe. I tell him that he needs to leave town because I think somebody's going to try to kill him. He says he'll never let me go.
Cameron: Are you upset?
Brenda: No. I'm mad. I tell him that there's no way I'll ever let him hurt Jax. He says that there's nothing I can do to stop him. He's grabbing me. He kisses me. I'm pushing him. I'm running.
Cameron: You leave the room.
Brenda: Something -- those dishes with -- it's a room service cart. There was a steak knife. I pick it up.
Cameron: And go back to the room?
Brenda's voice: I'm just so mad.
Brenda's voice: I'm trying to cut him. He grabbed me. Oh. I cut his hand. He's just holding me, pushing me.
Cameron: What are you thinking?
Brenda: He lied to me. He hurt me. He's going to hurt someone that I love. This is my fault. This is my fault. It's my job -- it's my job to protect Jax. I'm -- I'm going to kill him now.
Sen. Jordan: Did you sleep well?
Summer: What's it going to take to get you to leave me alone?
Sen. Jordan: You are so beautiful when you get angry.
Summer: Get out of my way.
Sen. Jordan: I ordered you arrested, you were arrested. I ordered you released, you were released.
Summer: Is that how you're getting your kicks now? Playing games with my life?
Sen. Jordan: I did you a favor. Now you're going to do something for me.
Carly: Oh, God. You know better than to show up here.
A.J.: You know what? I came here to see Jason.
Carly: Oh -- a little brotherly get-together? I don't think so. Get out of here before I have you thrown out.
A.J.: It's such a pleasure, Carly. Really.
Carly: You know, Jason's not home. Not like he'd see you, anyway.
A.J.: Good point. Maybe it'd be better if you give him my message.
Carly: I'll pass.
A.J.: I got a deal.
Carly: Oh, really?
Carly: Well, Jason doesn't trust you as far as he can spit, and neither do I.
A.J.: You trust him and depend on him. How would it make you feel if he ends up in prison, or worse?
Carly: What's it to you, A.J.?
A.J.: And I can help Jason with the legal problems.
Carly: Oh, sure. You've been so helpful so far.
A.J.: I'm willing to help clear Jason of the charges against him.
Carly: Oh? In exchange for what?
A.J.: My wife.
Courtney: Oh, Jason.
Jason: Hey, what --
Jason: What's wrong? What's wrong?
Courtney: Just hold me. God, I'm so glad that you're here.
Courtney: Look, I'm sorry I dragged you here. I just -- it's really important. I swear it is.
Jason: Okay, just -- go ahead, just tell me. What's wrong?
Courtney: Unless we figure something out, we're going to have to stop meeting here.
Jason: Courtney, I won't let that happen.
Cameron: You're on the floor. What happens next?
Brenda: I can't -- can't do it. Can't kill anyone. I throw the knife down. I'm running out. I can't find the stairs. I don't remember where the stairs are.
Brenda: I just need to stop and think. There's a man.
Brenda: No. There's a man in a long coat. I can't see his face.
[Ric turns intercom on]
Cameron: Can you describe the coat?
Brenda: It's dark. It's an overcoat.
Cameron: Does the man walk away?
Cameron: What happens?
Brenda: What's he doing? I can't -- I can't see him. Wait, he's turning around.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
A.J.: Every deal has a bottom line. In this case, you and I both get what we want.
Courtney: If A.J. gets evidence that you and I are together, he could expose you and Brenda.
Ric: You should've never allowed this without advising me first. I want this session stopped immediately.
Man: You are trespassing. That means you're going to be shot.
