Cameron: I'm going to give you 24 hours to produce Summer. If you can't, I'm going to commit you to a mental facility.
Jason: I can't see you for a while.
Brenda: Scott tried to get me to confess. He told me that you want Jax to go to jail because you want me all to yourself.
Carly: What did you want to see Sonny about?
Ric: I have something for him.
Scott: There he is, Sonny's new man. You got something that belongs to me.
Luke: Summer -- oh, I'm sorry. Excuse me.
Woman: Do you want a date?
Luke: No, but thanks. I'm looking for someone, a call girl named Summer. She sometimes meets her clients here.
Woman: I think you must have the wrong place, mister.
Luke: No, no. She's blonde, like you, blue eyes.
Woman: I work this pier. Any blonde trying to sashay in for business would get herself thrown in the water.
Luke: But she was here last night. She ran off when an undercover cop tried to bust her.
Woman: You're the one who got the cops patrolling along here?
Luke: No -- please, I have to find her.
Woman: It's not my problem.
Luke: But if this is your territory, you must have seen her. She was here last night.
Woman: In your dreams.
Summer: No offense, but you look terrible.
Felicia: Oh, boy. Oh, look at her. Oh, I can't even imagine my children ever this small. Such a lifetime ago. So dependent on me. Now I'm just lucky to get a kiss.
Alexis: What's going on?
Felicia: Alexis, your daughter is so beautiful. She's a little miracle.
Alexis: She's very fragile.
Cameron: Well, the doctor said it was all right to touch her.
Alexis: He also said that there shouldn't be more than two people in the room.
Felicia: Right. I'm sorry. I'll go. I'm sorry.
Alexis: What on earth were you thinking?
Courtney: We can't see each other anymore?
Jason: Brenda and I have to act like a couple. She and Jax are the prime suspects, and questions on our relationship make Brenda look as guilty as he does.
Courtney: It's -- it's ok. I understand. Thanks for coming by to explain.
Jason: Look, it's just until they find out who really killed Alcazar. I should go.
Courtney: You'd better go.
Scott: You've got something I want.
Ric: Really? And what is that?
Scott: You stole something from me. You're not going anywhere until you give it back.
Ric: I'd really love to help you out if I had any clue as to what you're talking about.
Carly: You know what, Scott? For once in your miserable life, you got something right. Take this guy to jail.
Sonny: Scott Baldwin would say anything to get you to confess to Alcazar's murder.
Brenda: Yeah, I know. I'm just getting freaked out.
Sonny: Well, he's right. I mean -- I do want you to be free, and he's right that I don't really care what happens to Jax one way or the other. But I'm not using this to my advantage. I'm, you know -- I'm not trying to set you up. I got a great life right now, and, you know, you're a part of it because you're married to my best friend. I care about you. I always -- I always will, and I want you to be happy.
Brenda: I know. I know that. You know I'll always care about you, too. You're a huge part of my life.
Sonny: Good or bad?
Brenda: A little of both.
Sonny: I feel the same way.
Brenda: I know.
Sonny: You trust me?
Sonny: Ok. You need to stay away from Jax. Don't defend him to people. Don't make it look like he confessed to save you.
Brenda: Except that's what he did.
Sonny: Ok, well, let the cops prove it. You don't need to do their job for them by making yourself look guilty.
Brenda: What if I did do it?
Sonny: You didn't.
Brenda: How do you know that?
Sonny: Because I fought with Alcazar. He was fast, he was strong, and he probably had some kind of military training. There's no way you could have shoved him off that balcony.
Brenda: He could have slipped, or maybe he was trying to get away --
Sonny: No, Brenda, you didn't kill Alcazar. You know why? Because you looked me in the eye and you told me so. And I can always tell when you're lying.
Carly: This guy Ric has been snooping around and asking all kinds of questions about my husband.
Scott: Is that so?
Carly: Yes. Take him down to the PCPD and find out what he's up to.
Taggert: You know what? We'll handle it, all right, Mrs. C?
Carly: Taggert, your track record doesn't fill me with confidence.
Scott: You know, Carly, I'll talk to this guy Ric.
Carly: Yeah, be my guest.
Scott: Ok, you got two choices. You can cooperate or I can take the leash off of Taggert.
Ric: I still don't know why you're here.
Scott: Ok, take him in.
Taggert: Let's go.
Ric: You know, your accusations have opened you up to a serious, if not potentially damaging charge of libel.
Scott: You're threatening me?
Ric: No, I'm not threatening anybody here. I just want to know if you're honestly prepared to suffer consequences similar to that of Harding vs. The state of Illinois. Oh, come on, Mr. Baldwin, you know the case. An ill-informed district attorney accused an innocent man of burglary, despite a clear lack of evidence. The plaintiff was awarded $4 million, and the district attorney was stripped of his position.
Scott: Have you ever heard of such a case?
Ric: Look it up -- May 1998. And while the two of you are doing that, I'd be happy to quote at least six or seven other similar cases. Suffice it to say, I will file countercharges against any foundless charges of burglary, theft, or criminal act.
Carly: Ooh, he is wiping the floor with you, Scott.
Scott: Shut up and sit down.
Carly: Don't let him make a fool of you in public.
Scott: Quiet or I'll haul you in.
Ric: Look, you don't have a response, so, therefore, you threaten a defenseless woman?
Carly: Who are you calling defenseless?
Scott: You know what? I think I'm just going to take you in for being a public nuisance.
Ric: No, no, no, no, no. You know what?
Scott: That's what we're going to do.
Ric: You know, I'll save you the trouble. I'll go voluntarily, ok?
Scott: Good. Let's go.
Jason: I'm going to miss you.
Courtney: Yeah. I'm going to miss you, too.
Jason: Ok, if I don't leave, I'm --
Courtney: You'll what? Do you remember one of the first rules of relationships?
Jason: Get out while you can?
Courtney: Then why are you still here?
Jason: Because you're not easy to walk away from.
Jason: We just, you know, need to take it slow, just be sure.
Courtney: Oh, it feels right. Scary.
Courtney: But good.
Jason: For me, too. That's why we need to be careful not to ruin it.
Courtney: I'll just -- I'll have to be patient until this whole Alcazar thing is over, and then we can see each other again.
Jason: Maybe not.
Alexis: I trusted you to watch my daughter.
Cameron: And I did.
Alexis: You let somebody else touch her.
Cameron: Felicia Jones, an extremely pleasant woman who's also a friend of the child's father.
Alexis: She's also a friend of mine, but it wasn't ok for her to touch the baby. You crossed a line.
Cameron: Oh, ok, I confess, you caught me. I was going to sell her into child slavery and --
Alexis: You know what? That's not funny. It's not appropriate to joke right now.
Cameron: I have to joke, Alexis. You're being absurd.
Alexis: My daughter is fragile, all right? Her immune system still needs to be built up.
Cameron: Mm-hmm, and babies respond to touch. The doctor told you to touch her, said it would be good for her. Felicia has children of her own. She was extremely gentle and loving. And for the record, Kristina responded to her, so what exactly is the problem?
Alexis: All right, you know what? I've argued with you about this. You're right, all right? I overreacted, as usual. I'm tired.
Cameron: Why don't you take a nap?
Alexis: I don't have time to take a nap because Jax has posed a serious challenge.
Alexis: I have to defend him.
Cameron: Well -- giving him advice is one thing, but taking him on as a client?
Alexis: He's my best friend. He confessed to a murder that he didn't commit.
Cameron: Well, there are other lawyers in town.
Alexis: It's not that simple. I have no choice.
Cameron: You have been obsessed with your daughter's well-being, refusing to leave her side, and now you're taking on a murder trial?
Alexis: My business.
Cameron: Pulling yourself in two directions -- why?
Alexis: Because I need to, that's why.
Cameron: I can't wait to see who you are tomorrow.
Luke: I had a pretty strange evening last night after I left you. How about you?
Summer: Nothing out of the ordinary.
Luke: Oh, you left this at Wyndham's.
Luke: Yeah, I guess it wasn't out of the ordinary. Undercover cops are probably pretty much part of the deal, huh?
Summer: What is that supposed to mean?
Luke: Well, it means that that guy who was hassling you when I showed up last night turned out to be an undercover cop. You ran off or you would have seen the amusing end to the evening, which is that he took me to the PCPD and arrested me for being your pimp.
Summer: I have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.
Luke: Oh, it's ok. I'm not angry or anything.
Summer: No, it wasn't me. I went to a hotel to meet a client, then I went home.
Luke: Summer, it happened right here.
Summer: No, it didn't, because I was not on this pier. But I am sorry to hear you got hauled into the PCPD.
Luke: Well, that's ok. I mean, they couldn't hold me for being a pimp, you know, because I was peddling flesh of a person nobody saw.
Summer: Well, I guess it's a good thing I wasn't here. I would have caused you more trouble.
Luke: Well, you've caused enough trouble, all right. Disappearing, reappearing. I'm starting to wonder.
Summer: Wonder what?
Luke: Did -- did I push you out of the way of a truck the first night we met?
Summer: You saved my life.
Luke: And did I chase away one of your regulars right here?
Summer: Oh, god, don't remind me.
Luke: And have I paid you for a couple of dates, one of them at Wyndham's department store last night?
Summer: Look, Luke, you need to go home and get some sleep.
Luke: Did I touch you, hold you, dance with you the way I used to dance with my Laura?
Summer: You know you did.
Luke: No, I don't. No, I mean, I see you, I talk to you, touch you. But this annoying little detail keeps popping up.
Summer: Which is what?
Luke: Which is that I'm the only one who's seen you. I'm starting to wonder if you even exist.
Summer: What if I don't?
Summer: Maybe you would be better off if I didn't exist.
Luke: The only way I'd be better off is if I didn't exist. I just want to know what's real.
Summer: So you think that I'm only in your head?
Luke: No, I don't think that. I mean, look, I touch you, I feel you, I see you. No, you're real, damn it. You're real.
Summer: Yeah, but you know I'm not who you want me to be.
Luke: Well, that doesn't matter. I know who you are.
Summer: No. You don't. You're trying to make me into a substitute for your wife, and that can't happen.
Luke: You came along for a reason.
Summer: Yeah, I happened to be crossing the street, and you pushed me clear of that truck. I am so grateful for that. It was heroic. But listen, there is a thousand other people in this town -- blonde hair like mine, same height as me -- and, you know, you would have done the same for any one of them. Then your fantasy would be with that one.
Luke: No, I don't buy that. Your name isn't even Summer. It's Laura. You're real or --
Summer: No, look, you just said I'm real, ok? I'm real.
Luke: Yeah, you have to be. Or maybe I created you in my head, just because I'm trying to keep myself from going completely mad.
Summer: I think you're already a little mad. I think it's mostly grief.
Luke: What are you saying? That you are a figment of my imagination?
Summer: No. Look at me. I am real. I'm standing here in front of you. I am as real as you are.
Luke: Prove it.
Felicia: Oh. I apologize. I'm sorry.
Cameron: For what?
Felicia: Alexis was so upset when I touched her baby, I was afraid that when I left, she'd unload on you.
Cameron: Yeah, she did, but she's exhausted, emotionally and physically. And now she's agreed to represent Jasper Jacks in a murder trial.
Felicia: I know. I heard. Mac Scorpio told me.
Cameron: Jax confessed, didn't he?
Felicia: I'm worried. I'm worried that Alexis doesn't realize what she's gotten herself into.
Cameron: Worried enough to put your money where your mouth is?
Jason: Well, we could -- could find a place to meet, you know, someplace private nobody else knows about except for us.
Courtney: What, you mean, like, rent a room or get a cabin in the woods?
Jason: We'd have to sneak.
Courtney: So what?
Jason: Well, I don't want it to be that way for you. Look, we can -- we can -- you know, we can wait if you're uncomfortable.
Courtney: No, it's better than not seeing you at all. And it's only for just a little while. We have nothing to be ashamed of. You know A.J.'s going to make this divorce as difficult as possible. He already suspects that we're having a relationship. And I wouldn't put it past him to try and hurt you if he found out that he was right.
Jason: Look, I'm not real worried about A.J.
Courtney: I am. Come on, if he's capable of hiring someone to stalk me, he's capable of anything. Would you just promise me that you'll watch your back, please?
Jason: I will. But I don't want him taking his jealousy out on you.
Courtney: Well, if we see each other in secret, he won't. He won't even know about it.
Jason: You don't have to decide right now. It's --
Courtney: My answer's yes. I don't want to stop seeing you. So we'll just -- we'll find a place where we can be together.
Carly: Sonny, hey, I'm sorry that I ran out on you earlier. I'm P.M.S.'ing, ok? But listen, you're not going to believe this. I ran into Ric, and he gave me a tape to pass on to you.
Sonny: Wait -- what, you ran into Ric? What do you mean, you ran --
Carly: Yeah, I -- he gave me a tape --
Carly: That he stole from Scott, probably right out of Scott's office.
Sonny: Oh, so he left you holding stolen information? What if you'd gotten caught?
Carly: Well, I didn't.
Sonny: No, I know you didn't. What if you got --
Carly: Ok, I'm all right, I'm all right. Listen, we were at Kelly's. Scott came in, and he needed to hide this tape, so --
Sonny: That's not an excuse. I mean, the guy's doing whatever he wants on his own. He's not listening to what I'm saying. I thought we, you know, we were going to trust this guy.
Carly: Ok, listen, I offered to help him.
Sonny: You off-- you offered to help him? Why? You don't even know the guy.
Carly: Because I wanted to help you!
Sonny: Don't -- that's -- I appreciate that, you know, but I want you safe. You're my wife. I'm --
Carly: Ok, I am safe. I'm safe, ok? I am in our home. There's a guard at the front door. There are no police anywhere in sight. Listen, I see you're upset. What's going on? Did something happen with Brenda again?
Sonny: I got a lot on my mind right now.
Sonny: I got Baldwin trying to pin a murder on me, I got the new construction site for the coffee warehouse, and I got this guy Ric, who -- I don't know exactly what's going on. He could be working for the competition, or he could be working for Baldwin, or who knows what. I don't know, so -
Carly: With Ric's credentials? I don't think so.
Sonny: But you don't know and I don't know. And, you know, I don't need you adding to my problems by playing into his hands.
Carly: First of all --
Carly: Ric did not want to give me the tape, even after I offered to bring it to you. And then Scott rushed in and he started threatening Ric, saying that he was going to take him to the PCPD for questioning.
Sonny: Well, Ric knows how to handle the D.A.
Carly: Yeah, he does. You should have seen him, ok? He started citing all of these law cases. He threatened to sue Scott for libel. You should have seen him. He was running circles around him. Please, just look at the tape before you jump down my throat.
Sonny: All right, give me the remote.
Carly: You see?
Sonny: There's Jax.
Carly: Jax. He's going into the Port Charles hotel.
Sonny: All right.
Carly: Look at the date and the time -- November 22, 9:22, the exact time right before the coroner said that Alcazar was murdered.
Sonny: I got it, I got it. I need to take this tape to the police station to shift some blame off of Brenda, Jason, and me. I know how much you hate this, and I don't blame you, but you know what? This tape could make everything go away.
Carly: All of it, I know. Go. Oh, my god.
Scott: What'd you do with the tape?
Ric: The officer who searched me found nothing in my possession.
Scott: Well, that's because you probably already gave it to Corinthos.
Ric: What leads you to believe that I would give anything to Sonny Corinthos?
Scott: Because maybe he wanted it. Maybe he sent you to scout my office and see what you could find.
Ric: You know, what is on this mysterious tape that you are so eager to repossess?
Scott: Well, you're good, aren't you?
Ric: Are you complimenting me?
Scott: Depends what's next.
Ric: Well, what you got in mind?
Scott: I'm thinking about reconsidering your offer to work for me to take Corinthos down. Now, if you give me the tape, we can discuss how we're going to do that.
Summer: You want me to prove to you that I'm real?
Luke: That's right.
Summer: I think that we've done that. Seriously. You know, you grabbed my hand, you're talking to me, looking at me.
Luke: If you're real, you have a home.
Summer: Of course I do.
Luke: What's your address?
Summer: Oh, come on, I'm not going to give you that.
Luke: And you won't tell me your phone number.
Summer: No. Come on, in my line of work, I got to keep certain things private.
Luke: Well, I understand that. You don't want johns showing up on your doorstep or calling you every hour on the hour, but I'm different.
Summer: Well, that's for sure.
Luke: Give me something to go on here.
Summer: Look, it was fun, ok? I had a really good time. Honestly, I didn't expect to, but I did.
Luke: But you know I'm not going to hurt you.
Summer: Look, whatever it is that you're doing here, it's not working.
Luke: There's nothing to work. I paid you for your time.
Summer: Exactly, because that's my business. But you -- you're looking for something else. You're -- I don't know what you're looking for.
Luke: I'm looking for my sanity, Summer. I told you, I think I'm losing my mind.
Summer: Can we stop this? Please? I got to go. I got clients.
Luke: Ok, ok, I know what you're thinking.
Summer: No, you don't.
Luke: No, you think I've gone completely crazy, that I'm a stalker, I've crossed the line. I'm just trying to get this straight in my head.
Summer: I can't help you.
Luke: Yes, you can -- by meeting someone.
Luke: Just five minutes, one person. Look, I paid for your time! All we did was dance and talk.
Summer: And I appreciate that. As much as you paid me, I appreciate that, but that was your choice.
Luke: Yeah, I know, I know, but now I just -- all I'm asking you to do is meet somebody, talk to them for five minutes, and then I swear to you, this will be over. I won't try to get another date, I won't follow you around. It'll be over. Please, in a public place. Kelly's, right around the corner.
Summer: I don't know.
Luke: You say hello, you go. That's it.
Summer: Ok, but I -- I got to check in with my client first, just to tell him I'll be late.
Luke: Ok, ok. Kelly's in, what, a half-hour?
Summer: Hmm, yeah.
Luke: Thank you. Thank you, Summer. Thank you. If you --
Cameron: You're a private investigator. That could be useful.
Felicia: Did I tell you I was a P.I.?
Cameron: No, Luke Spencer mentioned it.
Felicia: Oh. You know Luke?
Cameron: You could say that. Would you like to sit down?
Felicia: Sure. I heard he was seeing a psychiatrist.
Felicia: You're his psychiatrist. I can't even imagine him buying into something like that.
Cameron: Yeah, well, he's been fighting me every step of the way, but he's a fascinating research subject. I asked him something about his background, and your name came up.
Felicia: Oh, yeah. Yeah, we have a history. But the real true love of his life is his ex-wife.
Felicia: Mm-hmm. He seems just lost without her. I wish I could help, but I don't think I can.
Cameron: Well, Luke has to find his own way back. It's Alexis that needs help. Taking on a murder defense while holding vigil for a premature baby is insanity.
Felicia: Seems a bit much to take on right now, doesn't it?
Cameron: Mm-hmm. Would you be interested in taking on some of the footwork investigating?
Felicia: Alexis should ask me that.
Cameron: Oh, you're a resourceful woman. I'm sure you can arrange for Alexis to come up with the idea.
Felicia: Are shrinks supposed to do this?
Cameron: Nah, but that never stopped me before.
Felicia: What if she wants to handle this case on her own?
Cameron: I have faith in your powers of persuasion.
Felicia: Oh, you do? Really? Well, I'm starting to have faith in your powers of persuasion.
Cameron: Then you'll do it?
Felicia: Yes. I would like to help Alexis and Jax. He shouldn't have to spend a single moment in prison because of Luis Alcazar. That man deserved to die.
Cameron: I wouldn't have pegged you for the vengeful type.
Felicia: He abducted my children. They were returned unharmed, but that's something you don't forgive.
Cameron: I can see that.
Felicia: Well, I'll go speak with Alexis.
Cameron: Oh, one more thing. Don't tell Alexis I told you to do this.
Felicia: Oh. Why? Because you don't want her to know that you're managing her life?
Cameron: Let's just say it's a wrong approach with her.
Felicia: "A wrong approach." Ok. I won't say anything.
Felicia: I'll let you know what I find out.
Cameron: Good luck.
Luke: An important shrink never turns off his cell phone.
Cameron: Sometimes I need privacy from some of my more high-maintenance patients.
Luke: Yeah, that would be me. I've left five messages in the last 10 minutes.
Cameron: What's the emergency?
Luke: You and I have a date to meet the woman who only exists in my mind. Kelly's in 20 minutes. Summer will be there.
Felicia: Alexis, I just came by to apologize again. I know how upset you were when I touched baby Kristina without you being here.
Alexis: I'm so sorry I jumped down your throat. I'm just not used to anybody else touching her except Ned and me.
Felicia: No, no, no, no, I should never have presumed anything.
Alexis: I know you were trying to help, I do. And you're a wonderful mother, and Kristina can use all the love and support she can get.
Felicia: No. No. I know better. I know what it's like to have a sick little girl. And I know there's absolutely nothing that I wouldn't have done to protect mine.
Alexis: I know you understand.
Felicia: And I also know that life just barrels by and you have to do your job and you have to take of your clients.
Alexis: I don't care much about my practice right now, but I do care about Jax. He's in trouble. He confessed to killing Alcazar, and I got him to agree to let me defend him.
Felicia: If there's anything I can do to help you, I'd be happy to.
Alexis: Actually, I can use all the help I can get.
Cameron: Well. Where's Summer? Or should I say Laura?
Luke: She'll be here.
Cameron: You said 20 minutes.
Luke: You never hear of somebody running late? Your life must go like a clock.
Cameron: So what's the plan? How long do we have to stand here in the snow, waiting for her to show up?
Luke: Go inside if you want. I'm going to wait right here. She'll be here. I'll wait for her. She's going to show.
Courtney: Hey. Sorry I'm late.
Elizabeth: Hey. It's no problem. It's been slow. So, how'd it go with Jason?
TV announcer: Inside the PCPD confirm that Jasper Jacks has confessed to murdering Luis Alcazar, the man who shot and nearly left him paralyzed for life. Jacks is rumored to have fought with Alcazar over Brenda Barrett-Morgan, Alcazar's longtime mistress. Prior to Jacks' confession, Mrs. Morgan had been the focus of the murder investigation. The victim was accosted in his hotel suite with a knife, then thrown off the balcony, falling to his death 14 floors below.
Carly: Hey, hey, hey, where are you going?
Brenda: None of your business.
Carly: Listen, I saw you on the news. I saw you being mobbed by those reporters. You need to say out of sight.
Brenda: Look, don't tell me what to do, ok?
Carly: There's nowhere you need to go, no one you need to see.
Brenda: What are you, my psychic now?
Carly: You know what? If you're going to visit Jax --
Brenda: I'm going to convince Jax I killed Luis, all right? That should make you really happy!
Carly: No, you're not going anywhere, ok? You need to keep your damn mouth shut!
Brenda: Oh, great.
Scott: So what's it going to be? You going to give me the tape and let me help you go after Corinthos?
Ric: You know, you practically threw me out of your office when I offered to work with you before.
Scott: Well, that's because I didn't trust you.
Ric: And I've given you no reason to change your mind, and I definitely have no reason at all to trust you.
Scott: Sure, you do. You know I hate Corinthos. You know that I got the juice to put him away.
Ric: Well, that proves nothing at all.
Scott: Ok, well, how about you give me my tape and prove to me that you're on the level?
Ric: Assuming I have it.
Scott: All right, look, you want to play these games? Then go back to Sonny and pull out the cribbage board and play games with him.
Sonny: What were you two discussing?
Felicia: So how does it look for Jax?
Alexis: Horrible. He's covering for someone, and he's determined to see it through.
Felicia: What can you do?
Alexis: Prove that his confession is a lie and find the real killer.
Felicia: Let me do the legwork. Let me do the investigation. I'll get all the police work. I'll have all the documents that you need.
Alexis: It's a lot to ask.
Felicia: Well, you know, I just do this for a living. And besides, I know the police commissioner.
Alexis: It would save me a lot of time.
Felicia: And it would free you up to focus on what's best case for Jax. And you would have more time to spend with your baby.
Alexis: You have an excellent reputation, and I know that I could count on you to do a good job. I'm going to take you up on your offer.
Felicia: Great. I'll get to work.
Alexis: Thanks for not telling me I'm crazy for doing this.
Luke: She'll be here. I know she will.
Cameron: Whatever you say.
Luke: She had an appointment. It probably took her a little longer than she expected.
Cameron: So how long do we have to stand here making small talk?
Luke: Until she comes.
Cameron: My feet are freezing.
Luke: Doctor, why do you think I did this? Why did I imagine that she would meet me?
Cameron: Because you're smart.
Luke: Well, according to you, I'm not smart enough to know a hallucination when I have one.
Cameron: You set yourself up a test. This is a way to see if Laura/Summer is real or just a way of working through old business with your wife.
Cameron: I'm leaving.
Luke: No, no, wait! Don't do that. Wait, wait. She'll be here!
Cameron: Luke, she's not coming.
Courtney: Dinner was nice. Jason's a wonderful guy.
Elizabeth: "A wonderful guy"? That's it?
Courtney: Yeah, well, I mean, I wanted to thank him for all that he's done for me, and I did.
Elizabeth: Well, I didn't mean to pry.
Courtney: No, it's ok. It's just that I'm going through a divorce, and, you know, Jason's caught up in all this legal stuff with Brenda.
Elizabeth: Did you see him on TV?
Elizabeth: How he had his arm around Brenda, like a loving, protective husband?
Courtney: Well, they're married. You know, the reporters were after her. He had to support her.
Elizabeth: Still, they looked awfully close.
Courtney: Yeah, well, I'm sure Jason's just doing what he needs to do.
Scott: What do you want, Corinthos?
Sonny: Well, I just --
Ric: Wait a minute, wait a minute. What's going on here, huh? Are you trying to set me up? Is that it? What are you, recording this entire thing, huh? You know what? If I find out that you have that tape, you are not going to know what hit you. That is illegal coercement, counselor. Ruddick vs. Downing, Miller vs. Johnson --
Scott: Hey, quiet, quiet! Quiet down, will you here? Let Corinthos talk. What are you doing here?
Sonny: Well, my wife informed me that this gentleman was being detained, and I wanted to know if he needed some help.
Scott: Really? Well, does this gentleman work for you?
Sonny: Not yet, but I'm considering hiring him as my attorney.
Scott: Is that so?
Ric: You know, look, charge me or let me walk.
Scott: You're free to go -- for now.
Ric: I wish I could say it's been a pleasure.
Sonny: You didn't want me to give him that tape.
Ric: I found it stashed in Baldwin's office. He's suppressing evidence.
Sonny: Baldwin doesn't want Jax. He wants me and Jason.
Ric: Yeah, but if he gets a hold of that tape, he will destroy it.
Sonny: I'll keep that in mind. Nice work.
Carly: She was on her way to confess.
Jason: Ok, let's go.
Brenda: Yeah, I know, I know.
Jason: Brenda, just get back inside!
Carly: She is going to ruin everything.
Brenda: Are you going to stop me?
Jason: Just get --
Carly: Oh, god.
Jason: What happened?
Carly: I told you. She was on her way down to the PCPD to confess to Alcazar's murder.
Jason: Then you stopped her?
Carly: Yeah. I had to. She was going to take you and Sonny down with her, because you know what? She doesn't give a damn about anyone except herself and Mr. Wonderful Jax, and to hell with you and Sonny for all she cares.
Jason: Ok, I want you to go back inside.
Carly: Jason, I was trying to save you.
Jason: I know that, and you did a good job.
Carly: Well, at least you can admit it. Thank you.
Jason: I can take care of it from here. Just go inside.
Carly: Yeah, get the little witch under control --
Carly: Before she ruins everything.
Jason: You ok?
Jason: What were you doing? Where were you going?
Brenda: Listen, if I want to go down to the PCPD, I will go, and nobody's going to stop me.
Jason: How many lives are you willing to destroy to save Jax's?
Brenda: As many as it takes.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Cameron: Your father's losing it.
Luke: Happy new year! Merry Christmas!
Jax: I'm ready to plead guilty.
Alexis: You didn't kill Alcazar.
Sonny: You're looking for this tape? It puts Jax at the murder scene.
Taggert: How'd you get it?
Skye: Jax didn't kill him.
Felicia: But we need to find out who did.
