Carly: Brenda can get to you whenever she wants. She knows it and there's nothing that I can do.
Skye: Thank you for helping me out with the police. Don't take this the wrong way, but I would be very happy if I never had to lay eyes on you again.
Jason: I don't want to hurt you.
Courtney: You won't.
Brenda: Jax confessed to killing Luis. I am not going to let him do that, so I'm going to have to tell the police that I did it.
Jason: Good morning.
Courtney: How did you know I was awake?
Jason: Well, you quit snoring. You just dozed off while we were sitting here.
Courtney: Now I wish I hadn't. Why waste time sleeping when I can be awake with you? I don't want this to stop.
Jason: Doesn't have to.
Sonny: Brenda's been released.
Jason: All right, I'll go down and get her.
Sonny: Yeah, don't let her do anything crazy to try to save Jax.
Jason: I'll make sure Brenda gets home.
Carly: You don't think Jax confessing is the end of it, do you?
[turns on TV]
TV reporter: The murder of arms dealer Luis Alcazar. Sources close to the investigation tell WLPC news the authorities were taken by surprise at Jasper Jack's confession, which reportedly occurred some time late last night. As previously reported, the Port Charles police have been holding Brenda Barrett-Morgan as the primary suspect in the case. She is expected to be released sometime this morning. As viewers might recall, Ms. Barrett had an ongoing relationship with Mr. Alc--

[Knock on door]
Skye: What do you want?
Coleman: What do you think? I'm here to collect for last night.
Alexis: Hello, my big girl. Look at you! Got your eyes open wide. Hi. I'm going to be able to take you home very soon. I can't wait. My beautiful girl. You're getting stronger and stronger.
Cameron: While her mother gets more and more exhausted.
Alexis: Kristina and I are just having the best time and we're minding our own business.
Cameron: Well, the hospital didn't send me. This is a social call, complete with a peace offering. I was on my way to the office and thought I'd bring you a taste of the outside world. It's a mocha cappuccino.
Alexis: Thank you.
Cameron: Cleverly concealed within this bag, a chocolate brioche.
Alexis: Thank you again.
Alexis: Oh, my God.
Jax: What's she still doing here? She should've been released by now.
Officer: Take it up with D.A. Baldwin.
Jax: Well, go get him. Go get him. You're leaving.
Brenda: Not without you.
Jax: I'm in here for Alcazar's murder. I'm not going anywhere, but you can go home.
Brenda: No, I have no intention of leaving here until you leave with me.
Courtney: I know -- you have to leave.
Jason: Yeah, I got to get to the jail before Brenda does something crazy.
Courtney: Wait, look, I know -- I know I'm supposed to be your dating coach and all, but I'm about to break one of the top 10 rules and ask you, when can I see you again?
Jason: You're not supposed to ask that?
Courtney: Well, I guess -- I guess it's supposed to make you seem desperate or something.
Jason: Well, you don't seem desperate. And I'm glad, because I want to see you again. So I don't know when I can get back. I'll get here as soon as I can. I just have to get Brenda settled in.
Courtney: Hey. Does it seem weird to you that we're both married?
Jason: Well, um -- you know, I married Brenda because she thought she was losing her mind. I mean, I don't love her. I don't even like her. And she can't -- she can't stand me. Our marriage is strictly a piece of paper.
Courtney: Well, that's how I feel about A.J. you know, I mean, our whole marriage was a lie, and I don't feel like I'm breaking any promises or doing anything wrong by being with you.
Jason: Well, I'll get back as soon as I can, ok?
Courtney: Just be careful, ok?
Skye: I really appreciate what you did for me last night, but I'm really busy, so I'd appreciate it if you'd leave.
Coleman: You think I saved you from a D.U.I. just out of the goodness of my heart, huh? Uh-uh. You owe me, big time.
Skye: So this is some kind of shakedown?
Coleman: Well, let's just say I know an opportunity when I see one.
Skye: You got nothing on me.
Coleman: Well, that Cassadine guy might disagree. I mean, you were driving drunk when you hit him.
Skye: That's not what you told the police. I suppose you could change your story, but since there were no witnesses and there's no field sobriety test, it's going to be a tough sell. You got no leverage and, as I said, I'm very busy, so you need to leave.
Coleman: You're making a mistake. But, hey, don't take my word for it. Ask A.J.
Skye: My brother?
Coleman: Well, see, I used to run this little -- this little hot spot called the Oasis. Maybe you've heard of it?
Skye: Oh, my God. You're the guy who blackmailed Courtney.
Coleman: In the beginning. I mean, Courtney didn't mind dancing after a while. It was better than seeing her husband carted off to jail, you know?
Skye: Well, you're not dealing with Courtney anymore. I have no intention of prancing around in sequins in front of a bunch of drunken losers.
Coleman: You know what -- hey, you would draw in the crowds, that's for damn sure. And if I was still running a strip club, I mean, I'd want you on stage.
Skye: Get out!
Coleman: But, hey, I've retired from that business.
Skye: Oh, really? So what are you into now, dirty movies, or is extortion really doing it for you?
Coleman: You know what, I had a deal with A.J., as a matter of fact. He paid me to stalk his wife.
Skye: Wh-- oh, my God. A.J. adores Courtney. There's no way on earth --
Coleman: See, see, A.J. wanted a chance to play hero, right, so he paid me to stalk Courtney so he could be the one to rescue her. But naturally, he botched the big finale, right, tries to pin it on me. You know, I had to protect myself and I did. And you'll notice that A.J. and Courtney aren't together anymore. So, I mean, that's kind of what happens when somebody doesn't take me seriously.
[Knock on door]
Coleman: Get rid of whoever it is. Unless you want to explain what I'm doing here.
Skye: All right. Look, just get out of sight.
Coleman: Keep your voice down.
Skye: No, go. Just go up through that way and get out that way, as well, all right?
Coleman: Hey, you know what, not a chance. Me and you have a lot left to discuss, ok, wildcat?
A.J.: We need to talk.
Skye: Oh, A.J.
A.J.: If you don't clean up your act, you could be arrested for first-degree murder, Skye.
Gia: Watch it.
Zander: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Gia?
Gia: Yeah. You'd know if you paid attention to where you were going.
Zander: Well, good to see you, too. What are you doing in the courthouse?
Gia: Business. You look like you're about to be arraigned. What's the charge this time?
Zander: Actually, I'm dropping off some papers for Ned. It's E.L.Q. Stuff.
Gia: You're kidding.
Zander: I work for E.L.Q. now, assistant to the C.E.O.. What about you?
Gia: I'm here for Alexis.
Zander: How's she doing?
Gia: She's not. That's the problem. Alexis is so wrapped up in her baby, she refuses to leave Kristina's side. And if she isn't careful, Alexis is going to get herself disbarred.
Cameron: So this Jasper Jacks is a friend of yours?
Alexis: He's my best friend. I was also married to him. It's a long story. Hello? Hello? Yes, this is Alexis Davis. Is Mac Scorpio in, please? I'll hold.
Cameron: This is the first time I've seen you show an interest in the outside world since your daughter was born.
Alexis: This is an unfortunate exception.
Cameron: You're resuming your law practice, I take it?
Alexis: I have no intention of going back to work. This is a special case. His confession is a travesty. Hello? Yes. Do you know when he'll be back? Fine, can you have him call me on my cell, please? He knows the number. Thank you. Would you do me a favor?
Cameron: Whatever you need, within reason.
Alexis: I will be back in one hour. I just want to know if you could watch Kristina.
Cameron: Excuse me?
Alexis: I have to go down to the police station. I'll be back in one hour. Kristina's stable, the neonatal nurses are in here constantly. I would just feel better if someone I knew would stay with her.
Cameron: I think I can manage that. I get $150 an hour.
Alexis: Thanks. You'll call me if anything is even remotely appropriate?
Cameron: We'll be fine.
Alexis: I'll be right back.
Carly: Brenda's got to be going crazy worrying about Jax. She's going to do something stupid.
Sonny: Brenda's under control.
Carly: Is that what she told you?
Sonny: Jason's on his way to pick her up. He knows how to handle her, ok? And tell me what -- what Ric said when he came over here.
Carly: Ric said he had information for you. He might have told me more. Jason threw him out.
Sonny: Well, good, because, you know, he should not be coming here without calling first, I don't care what information he has.
Carly: Then why'd you hire him? I mean, is he helping you with Brenda to clear her?
Sonny: Why do you keep bringing up this Brenda thing? I mean, what is going on? First you say I'm obsessed with Brenda, and then you want me to focus on her even more. I don't understand.
Carly: Well, you know what, I want Brenda out of our lives, ok, and I want you and Jason with me, and that's not going to happen if she confesses to murder.
Sonny: Brenda is not confessing to anything.
Carly: Ok, you don't think she's going to do that even to save Jax? Come on. She is not going to let Jax take the blame for Alcazar.
Sonny: I know what the stakes are here. You need to let me handle it. You've got to leave me alone on this.
Carly: You're right. I'm wrong. I'll leave you alone on that.
Sonny: You don't have to go upstairs.
Carly: Well, yeah, I do.
Brenda: You said you love me.
Jax: You know I do.
Brenda: Then why are you doing this?
Jax: Because there are no other options.
Brenda: Yes, there are, Jax. You didn't kill Luis. You can't just confess and say you did. It's wrong.
Jax: No, it would be wrong to leave you in here.
Brenda: Jason has everything under control. I told you that earlier.
Jax: Jason does whatever Sonny tells him to do.
Brenda: And Sonny knows what he's doing, too. He was just in here telling me that everything is going to be ok. You didn't have to do this. You know, after four years, I finally have my life back together. I'd like to have you in it.
Jax: I know what I'm doing.
Brenda: No, you don't know what you're doing. You are at this very moment ruining our future together.
Jax: No, no, no.
Brenda: You know, I used to always imagine what it would be like if we were finally together, and now you want me to just give everything up?
Jax: I've made up my mind, Brenda.
Brenda: Oh, really? Well, do you realize how serious this is? I mean, this is your life. You're risking your life.
Jax: Well, I've been taking risks for as long as I can remember.
Brenda: Jax, listen to me, I understand that I'm the one who did this. I'm the one who went after Luis with a knife and tried to stab him. And, yeah, I would do it again to save you, but, Jax --
Jax: You want to save me, Brenda? Do as I ask. Walk out of this police station and let me deal with this my way.
Brenda: I can't leave you in here, the same way you couldn't leave me in here.
Jax: Four years ago, I asked you to believe that I could face whatever happened.
Brenda: That was different.
Jax: You couldn't do it then. Can you do it now?
Brenda: Four years ago, I made a mistake.
Jax: Well, then don't make another one.
Brenda: Jax, the mistake I made was giving up. That's exactly what you're doing right now.
Jax: Look, we did it your way then. I'm asking you to do it my way now. Despite how it may seem, I am not giving up. So please, just go.
Brenda: What's going on?
Jason: Here. Put this on.
Brenda: For what?
Jason: I'm your husband. Put it on.
Brenda: Yeah, you're my husband for about five more seconds. Our annulment is going through this afternoon --
Jason: No, I stopped the annulment.
Brenda: Why did you do that? What, suddenly you want to be married to me?
Jason: No, I took a wild guess that you don't want me testifying against you, and I don't want you testifying against me.
Brenda: Well, you know, I do believe that you belong in jail, but I'm not going to be the one who sends you there.
Jason: See, that's exactly why we need to stay married. Now put the ring on.
Brenda: Oh, God. All right, well, as soon as this thing is over, I mean, as soon as we find out who really killed Luis, we're going to the Dominican republic and we are ending this thing.
Jason: Hey, I'll be waiting at the airport.
Brenda: Ok, fine.
Jason: Ok? Put this on. Let's go.
Scott: Hold on there. So you're the one that tipped off the press.
Jason: Don't blame me for the leak in your department, Baldwin.
Scott: Ok, smart guy, play games, because soon you're going to be on cellblock with a bunch of smart guys just like you playing all kinds of little games.
Brenda: You know, Scott, I hope you have a backup plan. I mean, what if Sonny didn't do it? What are you going to do then?
Jason: Let's go.
Alexis: What the hell are you doing?
Reporter: Here they come.
Second reporter: Brenda, Brenda, over here!
First reporter: Former lover kills your current lover -- any comments?
Second reporter: Is Jasper Jacks protecting you?
Third reporter: Was it a conspiracy? Were you in on it together?
Second reporter: Ms. Barrett, do you blame yourself for what happened?
Carly: I think you should see what's on TV.
Sonny: Go ahead.
[Turns on TV]
reporter: Mr. Morgan, how do you feel about your wife's love affair with Jasper Jacks?
Second reporter: Will you stay together? Have you forgiven her?
Third reporter: Can you ever be faithful to just one man, Mrs. Morgan?
Jason: My wife is innocent.
Reporter: Mrs. Morgan --
second reporter: Brenda, Brenda --
[turns off TV]
Carly: Does it upset you to see the reporters tearing up Brenda like that?
Sonny: Will you leave me alone about Brenda?
Carly: You want to be left alone? That's fine. I'll leave you alone. That's good.
[Turns on TV]
reporter: What happened last night?
Second reporter: Who was really involved?
Third reporter: Are you covering for someone? Is Jasper Jacks protecting you?
Second reporter: Was it a conspiracy? Were you in on it together? Mr. Morgan, I hear you were at the hotel that night.
First reporter: Is Jasper Jacks covering for your wife?
Jason: My wife is innocent. The charges have been dropped.
A.J.: So are you trying to be charged with murder one?
Skye: You know, A.J., I can't really talk right now. My head is killing me and my stomach is in knots.
A.J.: You were supposed to blame Jason for the murder. How hard is that?
Skye: What do you think is better for a hangover, huh?
A.J.: Skye, hey, hey, pay attention here!
Skye: No, leave me alone! A.J., look, I'm sorry, but I've been drinking, ok?
Skye: And I don't really remember anything the past couple of hours. In fact, I don't remember anything before that knock on the door, so could we really talk about this another time?
A.J.: There may not be another time if you just binged yourself into a murder rap.
Skye: Hmm. Hmm.
A.J.: Listen, hey, I understand why you tried to pin the murder on Brenda -- I do -- but getting drunk and making a fool out of yourself is not --
Skye: Hey, I don't need to be drunk to despise Brenda, ok? I will tell anyone who listens what I think about her. She's a plague on my life. And she did kill Alcazar. I believe that. That statement I made to the police was completely honest.
A.J.: What are you talking about? All right, that's it. You are going to tell me what's really going on, right now.
Felicia: What happened?
Felicia: Is she all right?
Cameron: Yeah, the baby's fine.
Felicia: Oh. Thank goodness. I saw you staring at her. You looked so concerned.
Felicia: Are you one of little Kristina's doctors?
Cameron: Oh, I'm a doctor, but that's not the reason I'm here. I promised Kristina's mother that I'd sit with her.
Cameron: I'm Cameron Lewis.
Felicia: Felicia Jones. Nice to meet you.
Zander: Ahem. So, uh, did I miss a step where you went to law school?
Zander: Well, because I couldn't help overhearing when I was standing next to you --
Gia: If you were eavesdropping, why not admit it?
Zander: All right, fine, I was eavesdropping when I was standing next to you. You were processing your documents, and it sounded like to me that you were impersonating a lawyer.
Gia: I do what I have to do to get the job done.
Zander: Would Alexis be cool with that?
Gia: Alexis doesn't have a choice. She won't return calls, skips court dates, hasn't even billed a client since Kristina was born.
Zander: So, what, now you're suddenly Erin Brockovich?
Gia: Alexis is a single mother. Kristina was premature and needs a lot of attention. I'm making sure Alexis has a career to come back to when her little girl's ready to leave the hospital.
Zander: Well, maybe she doesn't need a career. Maybe she should focus on her daughter.
Gia: She is, but she should still have a career to come back to. I believe in a mother's right to have it all.
Zander: Right. Well, I'm sure prince Nic will have a staff full of nannies so that you can model and he can do international financing. You'll still appear like the perfect family.
Gia: Pay attention. The modeling thing's over. I'm going to law school. And not that it's any of your business, but Nikolas and I will be great parents when we decide we're ready.
Zander: That's great. Well, I'm just saying if you don't want kids, don't have them.
Gia: Wait a minute. What are we really talking about?
Skye: A.J., try a little compassion, would you? I'm devastated. My marriage is over. Come on, we both lost people we love. I should think that you'd understand that.
A.J.: Is this the sound of you giving up?
Skye: No, this is the sound of me accepting the truth, ok? Brenda stole my husband. And you should accept the truth, too, except you have no one to blame but yourself for Courtney leaving you.
A.J.: Whoa, I can blame Jason. He was after Courtney for months. Now he's got her. And don't think for a second that it's not killing me.
Skye: Oh, come on, it's not the same thing. Courtney didn't mourn Jason for four years. She's only known him for, what, a couple of months maybe? Brenda's like this mythical being to Jax. You know, they have this long, complicated history. She has a place in his heart that I can't even get to. I'm fighting destiny here. All you had to do was stay out of your own way.
A.J.: Jason took my wife from me, ok, and he's going to pay.
Skye: A.J., really. Trying to pin this murder on Jason as some kind of payback? You really need to invest in a good therapist to break the self-destructive cycle.
A.J.: This coming from you? No, I'm waiting for Baldwin to refile the charges against Sonny, Jason, and Brenda as co-conspirators. And then Courtney will have nowhere to turn and I will be there ready and willing to forgive her. In the meantime, we need to somehow get Jax cleared.
Skye: Yeah, well, you know, I -- don't really have time to think about that right now.
A.J.: Not you. You're probably looking at a little prison stretch yourself.
Skye: A.J., you're overreacting. I lost it for a minute. Big deal. No harm done.
A.J.: Promise me you will stay away from Jax. In fact, you're going to stay clear from the PCPD altogether.
Skye: You know what, I -- I can't even think right now.
A.J.: Promise me.
Skye: I -- ok.
A.J.: Thank you. I'll see you later.
Coleman: Oh, man. I did not give you nearly enough credit. Hell, that DUIs the least of your problems. You killed Luis Alcazar.
Jax: You should be at the hospital with your daughter.
Alexis: You're right, I should be. But thanks to what I can only believe is your temporary insanity, I'm here with you.
Jax: There's nothing you can do for me. I've already confessed.
Alexis: To a murder that you didn't commit. You didn't kill Alcazar.
Jax: What makes you so sure?
Taggert: Must be awful frustrating now that Mac's debugged the interview room. Makes it awful hard to violate people's rights by listening in on their private conversations.
Scott: You know, Taggert, it doesn't matter whether I can hear or not. If Jax didn't change his story for Brenda, he's not going to do it for Alexis.
Taggert: Well, current evidence says he's telling the truth. Speaking of which, where's that tape? You know, the one that shows Jax at the scene of the crime?
Scott: It's in my office on my desk under a bunch of stuff. I'll find it when I get a chance.
Taggert: Find it now, before it disappears and somebody accuses you of suppressing evidence.
Sonny: Ric, we need to talk about that research project you're working on. Call me.
[Knock on door]
Max: Jason just brought Brenda back.
Brenda: I'm going to get some fresh air.
Jason: No, you're not going to get fresh air.
Brenda: I'm going to get some fresh air!
Jason: Listen, we need to talk, ok? As long as we're married, you're staying here.
Brenda: No, I have huge news for you -- I am not staying here. I am right now going back home.
Jason: Weren't you paying attention at the police station? Ok, the press is all over you. They're going to notice you're not living with your husband.
Brenda: Ok, fine. I'll help you pack your stuff. You can move in with me.
Jason: Are you crazy?
Brenda: No, I am not crazy. My house is nice. I have pictures on the wall, I have food in my refrigerator.
Jason: Who paid for your house?
Brenda: Who cares who bought my house? What does that matter?
Jason: Well, because it's a matter of public record. Any reporter can look it up. You need to stay here.
Brenda: I bought my house with my own money before I left.
Jason: And then?
Brenda: And then Jax bought it.
Jason: Yeah, see?
Brenda: So what?
Jason: That's why you're staying here.
Brenda: Fine. I'll stay here for a little bit, but don't talk to me.
Jason: Don't talk? You know what, you could be nice to me. It wouldn't hurt you.
[Knock on door]
Brenda: I just said don't talk to me.
Jason: Why don't you cook some brownies.
Brenda: And he talks to me!
Jason: Why don't you make me some cookies or something good.
Brenda: Oh, good.
Sonny: I need to speak with Brenda alone.
Jason: Please, take all the time that you want.
Brenda: What's going on with Jax?
Sonny: I'm working on it.
Brenda: If something doesn't happen soon, I'm going to have to do something.
Skye: You know, you don't eavesdrop nearly well enough. I didn't kill Alcazar.
Coleman: Oh. Well, then I guess you won't mind if I swing by the PCPD and fill them in on what I just overheard.
Skye: Mm-hmm. All right, how much do you want?
Coleman: This isn't about money, Skye.
Skye: What you mean is this is going to cost me plenty.
Coleman: What do you see when you look at me? Be honest.
Coleman: No, no, no. I don't mean what you think of me. When you look at me, first impression.
Coleman: Well, see, that proves my point. See, because life is really about appearances, you know?
Skye: Oh, yeah, that's really fascinating, that philosophy. Save it for someone who cares.
Coleman: For instance, if someone appears to be, say, guilty of murder, odds are they're probably going to take the rap for it. Or if someone appears to be framing her husband's girlfriend --
Skye: All right. I'm going to ask you for one last time, how much do you want?
Coleman: I don't want money. I want connections. I need you to open a few doors for me, you know, make the right introductions, because I'm looking to move up into the world of power and privilege. And you're going to make that happen for me, Skye.
Skye: I'm no miracle worker. How does 100,000 sound?
Coleman: And compared to getting away with murder, helping me rise to my full potential should be a cinch. So you give it some thought and we'll get started. Have a good one.
Cameron: Look at those eyes. You can see how determined she is. Such a tiny thing. All that life in her.
Felicia: It's not every day you meet a man who gets as emotional about babies as women do.
Cameron: Now there's a sexist remark.
Felicia: Yes, it is, but it's a compliment. You seem to connect with her.
Cameron: Well, she's a tough little lady. I've watched her fighting for her life since the minute she got here.
Felicia: Must have been so horrifying for Alexis to go into labor that way -- all alone at night, in the cold and in the snow. And now she has to wait and pray for her daughter to gain strength.
Cameron: Well, her prayers seem to be working. Kristina's stronger than ever.
Felicia: She's so beautiful. I wish I could touch her just to let her know that we're here.
Cameron: Why don't you?
Felicia: Touch her? You think Alexis would mind?
Cameron: Can't imagine why.
Gia: I thought we were talking about Alexis.
Zander: We were, and now we're done.
Gia: Are you saying if she keeps practicing law it means she's not a good mother?
Zander: Look, I'm not going to judge Alexis. I mean, she's been great to me. She's the reason I have this job with Ned. And I'm not questioning whether or not she loves her baby. I just -- I hate it when have-it-all yuppies make their children into accessories for their perfect lives. And I'm sure Alexis won't do that.
Gia: Of course not. But this isn't about Alexis or me. It's about Emily. You think the Quartermaines are going to treat Kristina like they own her, drag her out at parties and charity benefits like they did with Em.
Zander: I just think a kid should be more than a picture on Dad's mantel.
Gia: Finally we agree on something. Now if you could just tell it to my father.
Zander: Is he anything like your brother?
Gia: Not even close. Marcus is loyal. Once my dad remarried, I got knocked off the mantel and replaced by wife number two's new-and-improved daughter.
Zander: I'm sorry.
Alexis: You didn't kill Alcazar.
Jax: What makes you so sure? Under the right circumstances, anyone is capable of anything.
Alexis: These are the circumstances, Jax -- you confessed to a murder in order to protect Brenda. I'm not arguing motive, I'm arguing method. What about diminished capacity? What about an accident? What about necessity or duress? Did you ever consider any of those concepts before you marched in here and confessed to a crime that you didn't commit? You are smart about a lot of things, Jax, but not this. You need a lawyer, and I'm not asking, I'm insisting.
Jax: I've already confessed. There are plenty of other lawyers who can handle this.
Alexis: You won't find another lawyer on this planet who will help you without implicating Brenda.
Jax: Is this -- is this like a new thing, or have you always been drawn to the impossible?
Alexis: I'm offering my help, Jax. What's it going to be?
Jax: Well, there doesn't seem to be any way for me to stop you.
Scott: Taggert, we've got a problem with Jax's video.
Taggert: Why am I not surprised?
Scott: I can't find it.
Taggert: Try harder.
Scott: Hey, lose the attitude. I can't find it. I looked. I have reason to believe that maybe somebody went into my off--
Alexis: I've been retained as Jax's attorney, so I need everything that you have on him as soon as possible.
Scott: Well, I'll help you any way I can because Jax is not my first choice as a defendant.
Alexis: I'll be in touch.
Taggert: You know, I want to put Corinthos and Morgan away for murder just as bad as you, ok, but with Jax's confession, things have turned around, and the evidence supports his story. If that should happen to start disappearing, we're looking at a federal offense here, and if you --
Scott: Hey, Taggert, I didn't tamper with anything. It was stolen.
Ric: Ah. Mrs. Corinthos. Always a pleasure. Uh, I was just on my way over to visit your husband. Do you know if he's at home?
Carly: Oh, no. Are you kidding me? I know nothing. Absolutely nothing. I don't know what time of day it is, which end's up. I don't have the sense to come in out of the rain. You know what I am? My purpose in life is to be this good little wifey and not say anything and keep my mouth shut. Go ahead, ask Sonny. He'll tell you.
Ric: I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure your husband appreciates your intelligence and your insight.
Sonny: I'm handling things. I just need a little more time.
Brenda: I know, I'm just -- I'm just getting a little freaked out. I mean, you know if he's convicted he could get the death penalty, right?
Sonny: That's not going to happen.
Brenda: Well, that's what Scott said.
Sonny: Well, you know, Scott's just trying to play with your mind, trying to trick you into a confession. He doesn't want Jax. He wants me. If you confess, then he's going to say that Jason and me helped you kill Alcazar. We'll all be tried for murder.
Brenda: Yeah, but I don't understand what you're saying. What, are you saying I need to choose?
Felicia: Mm-hmm. Oh, boy. Oh, look at her. Oh. I can't even imagine my children ever this small. Such a lifetime ago. So dependent on me. Now I'm just lucky to get a kiss.
Alexis: What's going on?
[Knock on door]
Courtney: Who is it?
Jason: It's me.
Courtney: Hey. I'm so glad you came back.
Jason: Something happen?
Courtney: No, I just -- I saw you and Brenda coming out of the police station on TV. It just looked really bad.
Jason: Yeah, it was. And that's, uh -- that's why I can't see you for a while.
Jax: Why haven't I been taken back to my cell?
Officer: Guess your personal secretary hasn't told you. You have another visitor.
Jax: Who would that be?
Skye: Are you ok? Stupid question. Of course you're not ok. I just hate seeing you like this. How can we get you out of here?
Sonny: First of all, you need to stop and think. If you confess to Alcazar's murder, you'll destroy yourself and possibly Jason, too.
Brenda: I know, I just need to feel like I'm doing something, you know? Is there anything that I can do to help him right now?
Sonny: Just stay calm.
Brenda: Right. You know, Scott tried to get me to confess again after you left. He told me how stupid I was that I didn't realize that you want Jax to go to jail because you want me all to yourself. I know that's not true anymore.
Carly: Forget everything I just said, ok? My feelings got hurt, and when my feelings get hurt, I tend to say things that I don't mean, I tend to speak without thinking. Sonny's a very good man and he appreciates me and he has always encouraged me to do what I want.
Ric: May I? Look, I -- I don't mean to pry, but how did your feelings get hurt?
Carly: Sonny and I just react to things differently, that's all. When he gets stressed, he's quiet.
Carly: And I'm the opposite. When I get stressed, I feel like --
Ric: You talk. Right, yeah. And the more you talk, the more Sonny gets stressed, the more quiet he gets, and then one thing leads to another and --
Carly: Yeah, something like that.
Carly: What did you want to see Sonny about?
Ric: Hmm, I -- I have something for him.
Carly: Oh, I can bring it to him.
Ric: Uh --
Carly: I can certainly handle delivering something to my husband.
Ric: Absolutely, I'm sure you can.
Scott: There he is -- Sonny's new fancy man. You got something that belongs to me.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Luke: I was starting to wonder if you even existed.
Summer: And if I don't?
Courtney: I'll have to be patient, then we can see each other again.
Jason: Maybe not.
Sonny: I care about you.
Brenda: I'll always care about you, too.
Scott: You've got something I want.
Carly: For once in your miserable life, you've got something right. Take this guy to jail.
