>> Previously on "General Hospital" --

Ric: I am the answer to all your prayers.

Brenda: He's confessing to save me.

Jax: No, I killed Alcazar to save you.

Taggert: You're under arrest, Mr. Jacks, for the murder of Luis Alcazar.

Courtney: We're both married.

Jason: Why are you thinking about that now?

A.J.: Aren't you supposed to be at a bake sale?

Courtney: I want you to leave.

Sonny: Hey. Where have you been all night?

A.J.: I'm right, aren't I? You're sleeping with my brother.

Courtney: I want you to leave.

A.J.: How many times, Courtney? Or has it been going on all along? How many times have you slept with my brother in my own bed? Do you even know? Or have you lost count?

Courtney: Oh, don't you dare get self-righteous with me, A.J. Who I'm with and what I do isn't any of your business.

A.J.: Wrong! I am still your husband.

Courtney: Oh, yeah, my husband -- the man who lied to me the entire time we were married, the man who stalked me and scared me half to death. I don't owe you any answers, A.J., not one.

A.J.: You're right. I lied. But mostly to myself about who you really are. My wide-eyed bride, beautiful and innocent, pure, and all for me. That's not who you really are. You're nothing but your basic, run-of-the-mill, see-them-every-day slut.

Carly: What's the matter, Jason? Cat got your tongue?

Jason: No.

Sonny: So, where were you last night?

Jason: I was --

[phone rings]

Sonny: Hold on. This phone. Every -- oh, boy. Hello?

Brenda: Hey. I -- I need to talk to you.

Sonny: What's going on?

Brenda: Can you come down to the police station? It's an emergency.

Sonny: All right, I'll be right there.

Carly: Hey, who was that?

Sonny: Uh -- it was Ric. He says he has some information for me.

Ric: My name is Ric.

Scott: Ric? One name. "I'm Ric." What do you want, Ric?

Ric: Well, I'm here about what you might want from me?

Scott: Let me tell you something. I don't like guessing games. Get to the point or get the hell out of here.

Ric: I find myself in a very unique position, able to do one of two things -- either help Sonny Corinthos ruin you or help you put him away for the rest of his life.

Scott: You're an improvement over Morgan, and I'd like your offer if I believed it for a second.

Ric: Believe me, it is quite genuine.

Scott: Ok, so let's just play that double agent game where you pretend like you're working for me and then you give information to Sonny. Do you have any idea who you're dealing with?

Ric: I can assure you, Mr. Baldwin, I have absolutely no allegiance to Mr. Corinthos whatsoever.

Scott: But you know him. Me you don't know. So tell your boss no deal. But I do appreciate you stopping by because I know I'm making Sonny just a little nervous.

Ric: I'll pass the information along.

Scott: Ok, you do that.

Cameron: Commissioner? I'm Cameron Lewis.

Mac: Oh, thank you for coming so quickly. Your name was in Luke Spencer's file. You've taken legal responsibility for him?

Cameron: Yeah, it was a weak moment. What seems to be the problem?

Luke: Hey, hey, easy on the cashmere. This is a $1,200 overcoat. Bubba, why do you keep dragging me in here when you know damn well you're not going to lock me up? And you -- get a life.

Mac: What now?

Officer: Pandering.

Mac: That's new.

Officer: He admitted straight out he's a pimp, like it was something to be proud of.

Cameron: You mind if I ask a few questions?

Mac: Knock yourself out. He's legally responsible for Luke.

Cameron: Was there a woman present at the scene of the arrest?

Luke: What kind of a dimwit question was that? Of course there was a woman present. Oh, what? Yeah, I'm sorry. These guys are probably not up to speed on this. You see, Dr. Quack here is all poised to pronounce me delusional because he thinks I've got nothing better to do with my time than make women up and follow them around town. Right, Dr. Quack?

Skye: God, please be all right. Ooh. Say something. Oh, God, please don't be dead. Oh.

Coleman: Did you kill him? Boy took a nasty hit. You plowed right into him. Look, I saw the whole thing.

Skye: It was an accident.

Coleman: Move out of the way.

Skye: What are you going to do?

Coleman: If the guy's still alive, we need to get him some help. You got lucky. Call 911.

Skye: Oh, I -- I have a cell phone somewhere. I don't know -- know where it is. Hang on, all right? You're going to be ok.

Coleman: You're drunk.

Skye: No, that -- that is not why it happened, ok? He just -- he came out of nowhere.

Nikolas: My leg. What -- what happened? What happened?

Skye: Shh. Help is on its way. You're going to be ok.

[Sirens]

paramedic: What happened here?

Coleman: I hit him.

Mac: This happened on the elm street pier?

Officer: I was in the middle of a prossie bust when Spencer runs up and belts me.

Scott: You never learn, do you, Spencer?

Mac: The assault came out of the blue?

Officer: He said he was rescuing a woman.

Cameron: Did she appear to know him?

Officer: Couldn't tell. She took off as soon as Spencer got me distracted. He straight out admitted he's her pimp.

Cameron: What did she look like?

Luke: You got all the answers, Dr. Quack. What do you think?

Cameron: Well, let me hazard a guess -- long blonde hair, blue eyes --

Scott: What kind of a mental case are you, Spencer?

Cameron: Well, how close was I to the description?

Officer: She was wearing a hat. Never saw her hair color. As for the rest, I didn't get much of a look. Like I said, she took off after he showed up.

Luke: What do you mean, you didn't get much of a look? She's a call girl. You had to make an appointment.

Officer: This woman was an ordinary hooker. I walked up to her, solicited her on the spot.

Mac: Did you get her name?

Officer: Deborah.

Luke: Well, that doesn't prove anything. Call girls often use different names for different clients.

Cameron: Well, there's another option -- there is no Summer.

Scott: Oh, there's a Summer. It comes once a year. Are you really chasing a phantom blonde around town?

Luke: No. No, I'm not. She isn't a phantom. She's real. She eats. She sleeps. She drinks. She dances. I'll prove it. I can prove it.

Courtney: No, I do not have to stand here in my apartment and take this abuse from you.

A.J.: Our apartment.

Courtney: You never put a dime into this place.

A.J.: I see, so it's my fault I had a lower paying job, while you were out raking in the big bucks stripping for all the drunks around town?

Courtney: Get out! Just get out.

A.J.: You enjoyed it, didn't you? Stripping? You certainly didn't rush off the stage the night I begged you to leave and come home with me.

Courtney: I stripped for you, A.J., to keep you out of jail because I was stupid enough to believe that you actually loved me.

A.J.: You're right. I never loved you. I loved who I thought you were, Courtney -- a woman who loved me. I've got to give it to you. It was a hell of an act. You really had me going.

Courtney: Yeah, fine. All right. Whatever you need to believe.

A.J.: It's what's true. You're trash, just like your brother. I gave up my fortune for you! I gave up everything! And the first chance you get, you go and you jump into bed with my brother? The one person in this world you know I hate? But you know what? This time you're going to be the loser here, not me. So I really hope you enjoyed the little roll in the hay with my brother because it's not going to last. You see, my brother has a thing for sweet, innocent, untouchable girls. Good girls. And you blew that the minute you jumped into bed with him.

Courtney: You know what? You don't know anything about it.

A.J.: I do know my brother. And to him right now, you're nothing but easy sex. Now, don't get me wrong. He's not going to kick you out of bed right away. Even Jase, anti-social moron that he is, likes a convenient place to rest his head, so to speak, until another angel comes along -- a Robin, another Elizabeth. And then he will leave you and never look back because that's how he is. He has no feelings, so he has no motivation to stay out of love or guilt or obligation. He will just leave. And I can't tell you how much I am going to enjoy watching that.

Courtney: If you don't get out of here right now, I'm going to call the police.

A.J.: Why don't you call Jason and beg him to come over and protect you? You might as well get it while you can.

Jason: What are you doing?

Carly: I'm coming to see you. What are you doing?

Jason: I'm on my way out.

Carly: I can see that. Where you going? Going back to Courtney's?

Jason: Actually, I'm taking my bike out.

Carly: I know you. I know what that means. You need to think, clear your head. Courtney got to you, didn't she?

Jason: Just leave it alone, ok, Carly? Just leave it alone.

Carly: You know what? I told you. I warned you, right? I told you that a thank-you dinner meant a date. You should be thanking me, you know? I helped you out.

Jason: No, you didn't help me. You didn't. You didn't help me.

Carly: Jason, what's going on? I love you, ok? I want you to be happy, and I think that you and Courtney would be absolutely --

Jason: Just stop. If you want to help me, just stay out of my personal life right now.

Ric: Hi.

Carly: Hey. Ric, what -- what are you doing here?

Ric: I have something for Sonny.

Carly: No, this is wrong. Sonny didn't want you here. Jason, Jason --

Jason: You stay away from her.

Jason: Ok, Carly, grab the briefcase and check it for a gun.

Carly: Jason, he's not a --

Jason: Do it!

Carly: All right!

Ric: Mrs. Corinthos, would you please explain to Mr. Morgan that my services were requested?

Carly: Yes. All right, he's -- it's true. He's clean, all right? He's clean. He's telling the truth, ok? This is Ric. He's doing some work for Sonny, and don't ask me what because I wouldn't know.

Jason: What are you doing here?

Ric: I have some information for Mr. Corinthos that might be of some use to him. I wanted to make sure he got it right away.

Carly: Why aren't you meeting with him right now?

Ric: What are you talking about?

Carly: You called Sonny, and you asked him to meet you somewhere.

Ric: No, I didn't.

Jason: I've never heard of you, so you're going to leave. If Sonny wants to see you, he'll call you.

Ric: If that's the way you want it. I'm sure we'll be seeing each other again. Have a lovely evening, Mrs. Corinthos.

Carly: It's a little late for that.

Jason: What made you think Sonny was meeting him somewhere else?

Carly: Because that's what Sonny told me. He told me he got a phone call from Ric, and then he took off. But you know what? It's obvious he got a call from Brenda and he went to her again.

Jason: Carly, don't do this.

Carly: Don't what? Don't what? Don't be jealous? Don't call my husband on his obsession with this woman?

Jason: I'm just saying don't escalate the situation.

Carly: Ok, well, you know what? My marriage is my business. So if you want to help, stay out of my personal life.

Sonny: Excuse me.

Scott: Corinthos. What a coincidence.

Sonny: Yeah?

Scott: I met your new goon. He actually speaks. He offered his services as a double agent. Said he could help me take you down.

Sonny: Well, you should take him up on it. Where's Brenda?

Scott: Interrogation room.

Sonny: Ok. You're not going to stop me?

Scott: No. Have a nice little chat because I'm going to nail both of you for murder. Yeah.

Brenda: Hey. Thanks for coming.

Mac: You know, I forgot to tell you. If you plan on illegally listening in on Sonny and Brenda's conversation, you'll have to do it someplace else. It won't happen in my department.

Brenda: Jax confessed to killing Luis.

Sonny: Jax.

Brenda: He's only doing it to protect me. Obviously, I am not going to let him do that, so I'm going to have to tell the police that I did it.

Nikolas: I'm ok, ok? Just a few cuts and bruises, that's all. I'm all right.

Paramedic: Yeah, well, you still need to go to the hospital, get checked out.

Officer: Do you remember what happened?

Nikolas: I do now. I was -- I was crossing the street against the light.

Paramedic: We need to take him.

Officer: We'll come by the hospital to complete the accident report a little later.

Nikolas: I'll wait.

Officer: Sir, you say you were driving?

Coleman: Yes, sir.

Officer: Well, we ran a check on the car. It belongs to you.

Skye: Yeah. It's my car.

Officer: You've obviously been drinking.

Coleman: Well, that's why I was behind the wheel, officer.

Officer: How do you know this guy?

Coleman: Look, guys, let me get this straightened out for you. I own Jake's, ok? She was down at the bar, had a few too many. I didn't want to get in any trouble for serving her, so I took her keys. I am totally responsible for this accident. She was just a passenger.

Guard: What in the hell is up to make the D.A. call me in the middle of the night and order me to let you two in the store?

Luke: It's over here. Come on.

Cameron: Well, that's illuminating.

Luke: I left an empty bottle of champagne on that table and an open basket here.

Guard: Well, if you left something, the night crew possibly tossed it. But what were you doing here, anyway?

Cameron: Having a picnic with his imaginary friend.

Guard: Little old for that, aren't you?

Luke: A comedian. Just what we need.

Cameron: You know, it would be a big help if you could check any surveillance footage that might have been recorded tonight.

Luke: Finally. That's a great idea.

Guard: I'll take a look.

Cameron: So, how far are you going to take this?

Luke: She's real, damn it.

Luke: What is it going to take to get you off my back?

Cameron: You acting sane and rational. You keeping your fantasy world inside your head instead of letting it take over your life.

Luke: Good God, man. You don't get it, do you? I can't fantasize enough. Nothing changes this reality. Nothing. And believe me, I've given it my best shot.

Cameron: Why here?

Luke: I spent one of the finest nights of my life here with Laura. The first time we ran off together. We were being hunted by a gunman. We had nowhere to hide. Anyway, last night, I pathetically tried to re-create something like it with my elusive paid assistant. It didn't work.

Cameron: What did Summer think of your little experiment?

Luke: Summer is a call girl, doctor. She has no investment one way or the other. I am the only one with anything at stake.

Cameron: What you're risking may be more than you know.

Luke: Well, that's impressively cryptic. I'll make no effort to remember it.

Guard: I found something.

Luke: Hallelujah. Show the man so maybe he'll leave me in peace.

Cameron: What have you got?

Guard: Footage of him picking the lock on the side door.

Cameron: And the woman?

Guard: There was no woman. Now, if the two of you don't mind, I'd like to log in at least a few Zs tonight.

Luke: Maybe -- maybe she was out of range of the camera.

Skye: Excuse me. Can you tell me where I can find Nikolas Cassadine?

Nurse: Room 708.

Skye: Thank you.

Skye: Oh. And thank you for helping me out with the police, driving me over here. Um -- here's a little cab fare, and I have something extra for you. Now, please don't take this the wrong way, but I would be very happy if I never have to lay eyes on you again.

[Knock on door]

Skye: Hi. Mind if I come in?

Nikolas: Please. Please do.

Skye: I feel terrible about what happened.

Nikolas: Look, Skye, I'm the one who should apologize. I was an idiot, walking across the traffic the way I did. I probably scared you half to death.

Skye: Nikolas, please don't be gracious. This is hard enough as it is, ok? Look, I -- this accident was entirely my fault, you know. I have no business drinking, and I'm -- I'm the whole reason that that car was at that intersection when you stepped off that curb.

Nikolas: Skye, what are you, huh? The hands of fate? You weren't even driving. Your friend was. The only reason he hit me was because I wasn't paying attention. So, please, don't beat yourself up, all right?

>> The role of Gia Campbell is now being played by Andréa Carina Pearson.

Gia: Baby, are you all right?

Nikolas: Yeah, I'm fine.

Gia: I was so scared. Marcus called when he got the report. What happened?

Nikolas: I was actually --

Gia: Oh, my gosh. I was so scared. I couldn't stand it if I ever lost you.

Sonny: You're not going to confess to a crime you didn't commit.

Brenda: Well, Jax didn't commit it, either. The only reason why he's saying he did is because his lying wife is saying that she saw me do it.

Sonny: But you know what? Jax is physically capable of shoving Alcazar off that balcony. I mean, you aren't.

Brenda: No, no, no, that doesn't matter to me. I'd confess either way. It makes no difference. The only reason why Jax would even think about killing someone is for me. I'm not going to let him take the fall for me.

Sonny: You understand if you confess, you'll be playing right into Scott Baldwin's hands? He doesn't even care if Jax is a suspect.

Brenda: Yeah, I know.

Sonny: All he wants to do is do everything he can to prove that Jax is innocent. That way he can prosecute you, and then you can nail me and Jason. You cannot gift-wrap the case to him and just give it to him. It's not going to work that way. You got it? You at least got to make them work for it.

Brenda: All right, what -- what do you want me to do?

Sonny: Ok, let me deal with it. Let me handle it, ok? I will make arrangements, and I will get all three of us out of this. But I need your cooperation. I need you to promise you're not going to confess.

Brenda: I promise.

Sonny: Ok, it's not going to be easy. You know how he is. But I will do everything I can to get you out of here. All right?

Brenda: Sonny?

Sonny: Yeah?

Brenda: Never mind.

Sonny: Ok. You know what? I just heard that Jax confessed to Alcazar's murder. So you've got nothing on Brenda, so you guys might as well just release her.

Scott: We're going to hold Ms. Barrett.

Mac: Barring new evidence, Brenda will be released tomorrow morning.

Scott: So --

Mac: Any longer than that would be illegal.

Scott: Oh, we wouldn't want that, now, would we?

Mac: No, we wouldn't.

Scott: So you can tell Jason he can pick his wife up tomorrow morning. Unless you're going to pick her up. But that wouldn't be right because Jason is married to Brenda and you mean absolutely nothing to her. Right?

[Knock on door]

Courtney: Who's there?

Jason: It's me.

Jason: Sorry if I woke you up. Are you ok?

Courtney: What are you doing here again? What do you want with me?

Jason: I came back because I shouldn't have left in the first place.

Courtney: Yeah, but you did. Look, I thought that maybe things were moving a little too fast for you.

Jason: Yeah, I guess it is.

Courtney: Yeah.

Jason: A little bit.

Courtney: Me, too.

Jason: But that doesn't mean I don't want to see you.

Courtney: Me, neither.

Jason: I like you. And regardless of what happens next -- I left because I don't -- I mean, I don't know what that is. I mean, I don't want to crowd you. I don't want to -- I don't want to make promises that I can't keep. And most of all, I don't want to hurt you. And it looks like I already have.

Courtney: No. It wasn't you.

Jason: Then what?

Courtney: A.J. thinks that I'm trash. And he says that now you'll think so, too.

Jason: A.J. was here?

Courtney: Look, he knows that we slept together. I didn't confirm it, but he knows. That's why he started calling me names.

Jason: I don't -- I don't care if A.J. knows. I don't care what A.J. thinks. I can't change what A.J. said, but there's no way that you should feel ashamed for what happened between us.

Courtney: I don't feel ashamed. And you know what? I'm not sorry. I'm just glad that you came back.

Carly: How did it go?

Sonny: Hey. What are you doing up? You should be in bed.

Carly: I wanted to see what happened. You were gone a long time.

Sonny: Yeah, there was a -- it was a lot to discuss.

Carly: And you can't tell me any of it, right?

Sonny: Well, I can. I want to. I just -- I don't want another fight.

Carly: Yeah, I don't blame you. I'm not going to push because you seem to have a lot on your mind.

Sonny: Carly? I wasn't with Ric. I was with Brenda.

Carly: I know.

Brenda: I'd like to go back to my cell now.

Scott: Yeah, yeah. You need your beauty rest. You want to look nice and pretty when you're released to Sonny tomorrow.

Brenda: Oh, my God, do you ever stop?

Scott: You know, you got to give it to him because he really played this hand out well. See, you get released into his loving arms, Jax is nowhere to be found. He's going to get the death penalty for a crime that you committed.

Gia: This is all my fault.

Nikolas: Your fault? What do you mean, your fault? You weren't even there.

Gia: That's the point. I was late, as usual.

Nikolas: Ok, accident -- the term "accident" means that it was no one's fault, ok? I'm fine. It's over. Let it go.

Gia: I'll try.

Nikolas: Well, good. Now, tell me why you were late.

Gia: This one's really good.

Nikolas: Yeah?

Gia: I was going over some files with the attorney Ned hired to sub for Alexis. The guy kept going on and on about what a great job I'd done covering for her. But here's the best part. He's got a friend on the admitting committee at Jefferson hall, the P.C.U... Law school. He thinks with my grades from Columbia and my experience with Alexis, I might qualify for late admission.

Nikolas: You're kidding. Well, that's -- that's great.

Gia: The problem is I need a high score on the SAT, which is just in a few weeks, so I need to get studying.

Nikolas: Yeah, you probably better get to it, I would say.

Gia: Are you upset?

Nikolas: No, no. Why would I be?

Gia: Well, I know we've been trying to settle on a wedding date, and preparing for law school is only going to push it back further, but it's not like either one of us are rushing to the altar. I mean, we're fine the way we are, right? At least for now.

Nikolas: Yes, we are fine, and we have plenty of time.

Gia: How did I get lucky enough to find such an understanding man?

Nikolas: I'm not sure. I guess you must have done some good things in your past life.

Gia: I guess.

Nikolas: Come here.

Luke: Summer! Summer, it's Luke!

Cameron: You've got to get a grip.

Luke: If you don't like the show, get a refund at the box office. Summer!

Cameron: No one's coming, Luke. No one will because this woman exists only in your mind.

Luke: I'm so sick of your psycho babbling crap. I am not insane. I picked up and paid for a very real call girl. We spent the night at Wyndham's. She left her scarf.

Cameron: Another scarf, huh?

Luke: I've been trying to find her to give it back to her.

Cameron: I should be recording this.

Luke: Yeah, for your article.

Cameron: No, Luke, for you. So you can hear how crazy you sound.

Luke: Fine. I'm a raving lunatic. How do you explain me getting picked up by the PCPD? Was that an undercover cop and the hooker that he was hassling a delusion? Did I imagine them?

Cameron: You saw what you wanted to see.

Luke: Call -- call my staff. Call my staff at the club. Damien, the bartender, saw her.

Cameron: Why don't we just call her directly, Luke? You said she was a call girl. She must have a telephone or a service you used to book her?

Luke: No.

Cameron: An address, then? Someplace you meet? Or do you just wander through town, waiting for her to materialize?

Luke: No. No. Look, I don't -- this doesn't make any sense. If I was going to make up somebody out of thin air, why didn't I conjure up my wife?

Cameron: I expect there's some comfort level involved. As for Laura, the subconscious is a powerful thing. Maybe it feels you don't deserve her.

Luke: You've got all the answers. It's a damn shame they're all wrong.

Cameron: I'm going to give you 24 hours to produce Summer. If you can't, I'm going to commit you to a mental facility for observation.

Coleman: You forgot these.

Skye: Oh, I thought you'd be gone by now.

Coleman: Look, I'm not sure you should be driving yet. Maybe I should take you home.

Skye: No, I'm fine. As a matter of fact, I'm all too sober right now.

Skye: You know, please don't take this the wrong way, but you really need to stop dogging me right now. I think I made it pretty clear -- our business is over. And take no offense, but I'd be very happy if I never had to see you again. I really don't want any reminders of this evening.

Coleman: I can see how you'd feel that way.

Skye: But I do appreciate what you did for me, though. Thank you.

Coleman: Yeah. I'll tell you what, you owe me a hell of a lot more than thanks, pretty lady. Ok? And I do mean to collect.

Courtney: Until recently, A.J. and I, we loved each other. And now everything is just so -- it's just ugly and spiteful. How does that happen?

Jason: I don't know. Do you -- I mean, do you still love him?

Courtney: I loved the idea of A.J., you know, the man he pretended to be. I'm not sure that I ever really did love him. You know, I loved the things that he said to me and the look in his eyes when he said them, and I -- I felt guilty because even when I was convinced that A.J. and I were going to be together forever, I was attracted to you. And I thought about that kiss in the rain all the time.

Jason: I did, too.

Courtney: Yeah, right. And then you went and got married.

Jason: I mean, Brenda asked me to.

Courtney: So it's that easy with you?

Jason: Actually, it was hard. I mean, she had her own reasons for doing it, and I thought it was helping Sonny and Carly. And it was a good way to keep distance from you, to stop complicating your life.

Courtney: You know, A.J.'s going to be beyond hateful about this divorce. And my dad would go through the roof if he knew that we were seeing each other. Listen, if -- if you don't mind, do you think that maybe we could just keep this between us? I don't think that I'm really ready for people to know that we're seeing each other. And that is assuming that you want to keep seeing me.

Jason: Yeah, I do. I mean, this is just -- you know, this is all new for me. I mean, I don't have a lot of experience with dating. And I am going to make mistakes, so you need to tell me because I don't want to hurt you.

Courtney: You won't.

Sonny: I figured if I told you it was Brenda on the phone and I had to go see her for whatever reason, then you -- you know, you were going to get upset. I didn't want to fight again. I mean -- in the moment, given the circumstances, I just thought that lying would be easier.

Carly: Well, I've been there, done that.

Sonny: And then I realized, sooner or later, you're going to find out anyway and you're going to, you know, take it as proof that something's happening when there isn't anything happening.

Carly: You know what it proves, Sonny? It proves that Brenda can get to you whenever she wants. She knows it, and there's nothing that I can do to stop you from going to her.

Sonny: This is not about caring about somebody else. This is about getting Brenda out of this Alcazar mess so I can get myself out of it.

Carly: And so what happens next?

Sonny: I don't know what happens next. I mean, I can't make Brenda do anything she doesn't want to do. But what I can -- what I can promise is that I'm committed to you and I'm not going anywhere. I shouldn't have lied. You know? I shouldn't have lied.

Carly: It's ok.

Sonny: No --

Carly: It's ok, ok? You know what? I certainly have lied enough times, and you've forgiven me. I can forgive you. All right? As long as I reserve the right to claw that woman's eyes out the next time I see her.

Sonny: I don't think that's going to be necessary.

Carly: No?

Sonny: No.

Carly: What do you want?

Carly: Um --

Sonny: Yes?

Carly: Ric --

Sonny: Right?

Carly: Came by because he does have that information that you want.

Sonny: Yeah? Ric works fast. Hope he has enough to stop Baldwin.

Brenda: You know that Jax is innocent.

Scott: He confessed. The forensic people placed him at the scene of the crime. If you don't admit that you killed Alcazar, he'll take a first-degree murder rap. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't pull the death penalty.

Brenda: Just go away.

Scott: Let me give you a little peek into the future here. There'll be two or three appeals, and they'll be overthrown. And at the 11th hour, there'll be a petition to the governor for a pardon, and that won't happen. He'll get his last meal. He'll take this long walk down this hallway to a little room with a window in the door. And they'll strap him down.

Brenda: Shut up.

Scott: You know, I'll have to be there because I'm the D.A. that's responsible, and I'm sure you'll be there, too, because you'll want to look in that little window and wave good-bye as they pump him full of poison.

Brenda: I can guarantee you that that is never going to happen.

Scott: Yeah, if you admit that you killed Alcazar.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Carly: You don't think Jax confessing is the end of it, do you?

Brenda: I have no intention of leaving here until you leave with me.

Courtney: I don't want this to stop.

Jason: It doesn't have to.

Skye: What do you want?

Coleman: What do you think? I'm here to collect for last night.
