Courtney: Thank you for everything. I'll be okay now that A.J.'s home.

Skye: I need to know exactly how long Brenda has to live.

Brenda: You need help?

Jax: Sure.

Sonny: Hope you're feeling better.

Alexis: I'm fine.

Sonny: Those the results?

Edward: Yes.

Alexis: What results?

Sonny: I understand you're having my baby.

Courtney: Come on, Rosie.

[Courtney laughs]

A.J.: Okay -- oh, none of that.

Courtney: Okay.

A.J.: None of that.

Courtney: Rosie, come on. Wait, wait!

A.J.: Come here.

Courtney: No, no, no, no.

[Courtney shrieks]

A.J.: Get her, Rosie! Get her! Get her!

Courtney: Okay! Okay. Oh!

[Phone rings]

Courtney: I'm so --

A.J.: We have to handle this. Hello?

Jason: Has she gotten any more calls?

A.J.: Hey, Jase. Listen, I appreciate you calling. Uh -- but you know what? You really don't have to worry about Courtney anymore. I'm handling the situation now.

[Phone line beeps]

Jason: Is that another call?

A.J.: Yeah, it could be. It could be the psycho. Hello?

Man: [Distorted voice] Tell Daisy I'm thinking of her.

A.J.: Why don't you come over here and tell her yourself, you coward?

Man: Watch your tone, Mr. Quartermaine.

A.J.: Let's take care of this face to face, man.

[Man laughs]

Man: Always trying to impress Daisy, but you're too late.

A.J.: Don't count on it.

Man: Guess who watched over your sweet Daisy while you were gone? Hmm? Jason Morgan.

A.J.: You don't think I know that?

Courtney: A.J., hang up.

Man: Morgan was a challenge. You --

[Man scoffs]

Man: Won't be.

Courtney: Hang up!

Man: Isn't Daisy beautiful when she's scared?

A.J.: What are you planning to do to my wife, huh?

Courtney: A.J.!

Man: I'll show her what it's like to make love to a real man.

Carly: Reginald, I need to see Edward now.

Reginald: Yeah, he's not here.

Carly: Yeah, well, I'll wait.

Reginald: Uh, wait -- you --

Alexis' voice: I'm uniquely motivated to deal with organized crime, which includes Sonny Corinthos. Look, guys, plain and simple, my priority is to see that justice prevails in the city of Port Charles.

[Reginald turns TV off]

Lila: Not everyone finds Sonny charming, I suppose.

Carly: That's true, Lila. I need to find Edward.

Reginald: Well, he didn't say where he was going, so --

Lila: Would you join me for tea? I'd love to hear about Michael.

Carly: Oh, I'd love to. Michael's fine. But really, I need to find Edward. You cannot even imagine what he's up to this time.

Lila: Oh, yes, I can. And I've got a good idea of what your husband is up to, too.

Sonny: Those are the DNA results?

Alexis: What DNA results?

Sonny: To confirm that I'm the father of the baby.

Alexis: I didn't order any DNA results.

Ned: Neither did I, and I'm the baby's father.

Edward: We'll see about that.

Alexis: How did you get access to DNA?

Sonny: I donated some hair.

Edward: And dear Lila had saved a bit of Nedís baby hair, hmm?

Alexis: Well, you're going to have to hold on to it a little longer because you can't prove DNA until the baby's born.

Edward: Oh, my dear, amniotic fluid is loaded with DNA Oh, it pays to live in a house full of doctors.

Alexis: You confiscated my amniotic fluid? You lunatic, Edward! Do you have any idea how incredibly illegal that is?

Edward: Not if you donate enough money to the hospital, dear.

Ned: Get out right now.

Alexis: I'm going to sue every bone in your body, Edward.

Sonny: You know what? I wasn't sure about your theory at first, but now it's starting to make a lot of sense to me.

Edward: It pays, you see, if you start with the due date and then you count backwards --

Alexis: Did you hear what he said? Get the hell out of this room.

Sonny: Judging from the reaction, I just may be the father.

Edward: Ooh. That seems abundantly clear to me.

Sonny: Well, let's check it out, huh? End this.

Alcazar: You're a beautiful woman, Mrs. Jacks, but cold.

Skye: Answer the question.

Alcazar: Why do you want to know how long Brenda has to live? Is she already mixed up with your husband?

Skye: What did the doctors tell you?

Alcazar: You'd like me to take Brenda and disappear, wouldn't you? Well, I'd like that, as well. Maybe we can work something out. I have a very important hearing coming up.

Skye: What do you want me to say -- that I'm desperate? That I'm terrified that Brendaís going to make my husband fall back in love with her, that I'd do anything to get her away from him? Tell me how much time she has left.

Alcazar: I suggest you take your hands off me first.

Skye: No problem.

Alcazar: The disease progresses slowly at first, more rapidly towards the end.

Skye: So where are we now?

Alcazar: Brenda was diagnosed almost four years ago at the Reinmar Clinic --

Skye: Yes, I know. You told me that. How long does she have left?

Alcazar: Well, she's taking medication every day for the symptoms, but there is --

Skye: How long?

Alcazar: It's difficult to hate a dying woman, Mrs. Jacks, but impossible not to love one.

Brenda: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. That -- that was my fault. I -- I kissed you and I shouldn't -- I shouldn't. I shouldn't have kissed you. I -- look, I -- I don't -- I'm sorry, I don't -- I don't love you like that anymore. I mean, I love you so much as a friend and -- and I feel -- I feel guilty because you're -- you're in here and it's my fault. But me kissing you is just -- oh, it's -- me kissing you is like -- it's like when I get mad at you and I yell at you, you know? It's an instinctual response and it just doesn't mean anything, Jax. I -- I'm trying to make you better, I'm just trying to help, I'm trying to do the right thing, and I'm sorry. I'm -- I'm screwing everything up and -- look, I'm sorry for the kiss.

Jax: I understand.

Brenda: Yeah.

Jax: I understand that you're lying.

Alcazar: Most people don't understand how much I love Brenda. They call me obsessed. But you understand, don't you?

Skye: I have nothing in common with you.

Alcazar: You know what it's like to love someone, only to feel them slip away to a past love. You feel helpless. You'd do anything to get them back.

Skye: Oh, that's it. I've heard enough.

Alcazar: It was nice seeing you, Mrs. Jacks.

Skye: If you knew Brenda was dying, why would you bring her back here? Why would you try to kill Jax and Sonny?

Alcazar: You can't prove I tried to kill anyone.

Skye: Well, Brenda could've been yours the rest of her life. Her time was running out. Why would you risk everything to eliminate the competition?

Alcazar: Brenda thought of this place constantly. Everywhere we went -- took her to Nepal, all over Europe, the rain forest -- she wanted to see Port Charles one last time.

Skye: That's not quite the way I heard it.

Alcazar: Well, Brenda gets confused. I blame it on the drugs.

Skye: So you brought her back here?

Alcazar: She kept trying to run away to come back here. I realized if I took away the reasons for her wanting to come back, she could enjoy the life I gave her. She could die at peace with me at her side.

Skye: That's an interesting rationale. But if I were you, I would've made sure Brenda stayed as far away from Port Charles as possible.

Courtney: Don't play that again.

A.J.: I have to make sure I got it on tape.

[A.J. Plays answering machine]

Manís voice: [Distorted] Guess who watched over your sweet Daisy while you were gone? Jason Morgan.

[A.J. stops answering machine]

Courtney: Turn it off, okay?

A.J.: Just one second, one second.

[A.J. plays answering machine]

Manís voice: [Distorted] I'll show her what it's like to make love to a real man.

[A.J. stops answering machine]

Courtney: I can't listen to that voice.

A.J.: Please, Courtney, then go in the bedroom.

Courtney: Just turn off the tape. Jason says that every word is calculated to scare me.

A.J.: I'm just trying to help, okay?

Courtney: What are you doing?

A.J.: We have an appointment with Taggert.

Courtney: You're taking all that stuff?

A.J.: This was the stuff that was across the street, right? The Daisy shrine?

Courtney: Yeah. A.J., itís embarrassing.

A.J.: Taggert is a professional. Now, we need to give him all the information we have, all the evidence, okay? I'm going to demand a full-blown investigation here.

Courtney: What if that's what the stalker wants? What if he's daring the police to come after him?

A.J.: Well, then we're going to take that dare.

Courtney: Can we really trust the police?

A.J.: Is this your theory? Or more of Jason's gangster code?

Courtney: A lot of what Jason says makes sense.

A.J.: Jason's a criminal. He's an enforcer for the mob, Courtney, for crying out loud.

Courtney: I'm sorry. I --

A.J.: Why would he want to call the cops? Of course he'd want to deal with this himself. I'm just glad you didn't get hurt and I got back when I did.

Courtney: I didn't mean to upset you.

A.J.: We can't trust Jason any more than we can trust this stalker. Please, just get your coat, let's go. Come on.

[Courtney sighs]

[Phone rings]

A.J.: Don't answer it, okay?

[Phone rings]

Coleman: How long you been standing there?

Jason: Got a lot of Halloween stuff.

Coleman: Yeah, well, I'm busy.

Jason: Yeah? What are you dressing up as?

Coleman: Look, man, the Halloween blowout is 20 bucks a head. Feel free to show up, okay, but I got to get these fliers out.

Jason: A guy like you must love Halloween. You get to dress up, scare people -- fits right in your sick life, right?

Coleman: What do you want?

Jason: Courtney Quartermaine. Every time she turns around, there you are -- Club 101, Kellyís, her apartment.

Coleman: Did Sonny Corinthos send you again?

Jason: You even called and hung up on her.

Coleman: Courtney and I got that straightened out. I was out of line, but I like the girl --

Jason: Hold on -- hold on. What do you mean, you like her?

Coleman: Come on, man. All due respect to Mr. Corinthos, there's a lot to like about his sister. She's beautiful, really sweet, genuine, you know. She's faithful to that rat of a husband of hers, I'll give her that. So, you're still looking out for her, right? Tell me, is that what Mr. Corinthos ordered or is this your deal? Uh-oh. You got it for her, too, don't you?

Jason: You stay away from Courtney.

Coleman: No problem.

Jason: Don't call her. Don't be where she is. You stay away.

Coleman: Sure. I just hope you can do the same thing.

Alexis: Just go ahead, Edward, open up the envelope. Share them with everyone if you want. Open up the window and yell it out so everyone can hear, because it doesn't make any difference who the father of this baby is.

Sonny: Well, it matters to me.

Alexis: What I said from the beginning still remains -- no one will have any say over this child except me. I will raise her unencumbered by your male egos.

Sonny: Every child deserves a father.

Alexis: Children grow up fine without them. I did.

Edward: That's debatable.

Alexis: So did Kristina. She never knew her father, yet she knew the value of a family. I think she would've made a great mother had she lived. By the way, in case you haven't heard already, the baby's a girl. I've named her Kristina. Anyone have a problem with that, sue me. And above all, she's a human being. Not a rite, not a trophy, not a possession, and anyone who tries to possess her will do it over my dead body!

Edward: Alexis, every father has a right, or did you miss that day in law school?

Alexis: Why would you do this? Why are you doing this, Edward? I thought you wanted Ned to be the father.

Carly: I've been looking all over for you.

Alexis: You all are free to leave at any time.

Carly: Are those the DNA results?

Alexis: Does everyone know about the damn tests in this town?

Edward: Don't worry, my dear, you'll get used to your husband straying from time to time. Lila certainly has.

Carly: Yeah, well, I'm not Lila. Give me that.

Sonny: What are you doing? Hey.

Carly: Oh, my God.

Edward: Here, give me that. "DNA indicates subject B, Ned Ashton. Ned Ashton?

Ned: What did I tell you?

Alexis: You satisfied?

Edward: But Sonny -- Sonny has to be the father.

Alexis: Why would you do this, Edward?

Carly: Because he wanted to trade your baby for Michael.

Alexis: That'll never happen.

Edward: I see nothing wrong with trading up. What?

Ned: Go, now. Out, all of you.

Alexis: I don't believe this!

Ned: Did you want to tell Sonny the truth?

Alexis: No.

Ned: Then what's wrong?

Alexis: I'm just so relieved. How in God's name did you do that?

Sonny: Alexis told you the baby was mine?

Carly: She threw it in my face for months. She got me to give her your medical records.

Sonny: Why would she lie to me?

Carly: Because she wanted the baby to be yours. Look, she slept with you, so she rebounded with Ned. And then when she found out she was pregnant, she just convinced herself that you were the father. That way, she could hold on to you or she could hurt you. You're disappointed, aren't you? You're disappointed that the baby's not yours.

Taggert: So you found these things in your apartment?

A.J.: Across from ours, along with the rest of these things.

Taggert: Well, these things are not that unusual for a stripper.

A.J.: All right, first of all, my wife didn't dance for very long, Taggert. And we both agree it was a big mistake.

Taggert: So is there any idea who this stalker might be?

A.J.: It could be anyone, not just someone from the strip club.

Taggert: So this guy, he -- "Daisy" -- he builds a shrine to a stripper named Daisy. He calls her Daisy on the phone.

A.J.: He could be trying to throw us off. Look, man, I want you to cast a wide net on this thing.

Taggert: Oh, a net search -- expensive and ineffective.

Courtney: The owner has called me a couple of times.

Taggert: Excuse me?

A.J.: Excuse me?

Taggert: The owner of the strip club has been calling you at home?

Courtney: He owns Jakeís now. The strip club burned down.

Taggert: It's funny how that happens, isn't it?

A.J.: Wait a minute. Are you telling me that Colemanís been calling and hanging up?

Courtney: Once, I know for sure, but --

A.J.: Well, how can I he you if you don't tell me what's going on, Courtney?

Courtney: He's at Kellyís sometimes and he's been to the house. You know that.

Taggert: Anything else?

Courtney: Coleman was at Club 101 the night that you left.

A.J.: And you didn't tell me?

Courtney: A.J., you had your court case, and Jason took care of it.

Taggert: Jason Morgan is involved in this?

Courtney: Jason looked out for me while A.J. was out of town.

Taggert: Oh, that's very brotherly of him. I bet you Jason told you not to call me, didn't he? I mean, not that you would because it's probably a Corinthos thing -- "don't call the cops," right?

Courtney: You leave my brother out of this.

[Courtney sighs]

Courtney: You treat strippers like cattle when you haul them in here.

A.J.: How do you know?

Courtney: And now that you're done pawing my things, I'm sure that you're just going to set this case aside, aren't you? It'll be your lowest priority except when you show it to all your cop buddies.

Taggert: You done? Listen, I know this is a difficult time for you-all, but aside from your brother's ongoing activities --

Courtney: Leave my brother out of this!

Taggert: Selling a full-blown investigation into a stripper to the higher-ups will be a hard sell.

A.J.: All right, first of all, Taggert, my wife is a Quartermaine, not a stripper, and certainly not a Corinthos. Now, if you want to keep your job, you will make this case a priority.

Taggert: So the Quartermaines want the world to know that Courtney has a stalker problem from her days as a stripper? I'm sorry. Why didn't you just say that? I'll get right on it, Mr. Quartermaine.

Skye: Oh, hi. Is Jax still in physical therapy?

Nurse: He's with that woman who's been such a help.

Skye: Oh, she's still here?

Nurse: The physical therapist is really impressed. Oh, she keeps leaving her jacket out here.

Skye: Oh, I'd be more than happy to give it to her.

Nurse: Thanks.

Skye: Sure.

Brenda: You're right. I got -- um -- I got carried away with the kiss. You're a good kisser. It's no big deal, Jax.

Jax: You can't hide from me, Brenda. I know you too well. That kiss meant a lot.

Brenda: No, it didnít.

Jax: I'm sorry, because I -- I just feel like I've lead you on.

Brenda: No, you havenít.

Jax: Look, I understand why you didn't want to kiss me before. I realize that now and it was very unfair of me to put you in an awkward position like that.

Brenda: No, you didn't. I'm fine.

Jax: Yes, I did. Maybe not intentionally, but that was completely selfish of me. I mean, we both know that I'm not available to you. I'm in love with Skye.

Brenda: I know.

Jax: I'm married to Skye.

Brenda: I know that.

Jax: She's my wife.

Brenda: Yes, I know that.

Jax: And I've been using you. I've been using you to -- to help me walk back into Skyeís life while I'm never going to walk back into yours.

Brenda: So why did you kiss me?

Jax: Because I've never been able to resist you. You know, I think if -- I think it's time for you to leave. I can -- I can manage with my recovery, you know. I'll find a way.

Brenda: You're right. I should leave.

Brenda: But I canít.

Jax: Why? Why can't you?

Brenda: I don't -- I'm sorry. I -- I'm just worried about you and -- and I don't -- I don't want to leave until I know that you're okay.

Jax: I already told you, Brenda, I'm going to be fine.

Brenda: I want you to walk out of this hospital and -- and I want you to be happy. You and I can be friends. We can be such great friends.

Jax: You think that you and I can be friends?

Brenda: Yes, we are going to be friends. That's what we are, we're friends, and you're going to have a beautiful life with Skye. You guys are going to have a house with a lot of kids. And when I die, then we're both going to be happy.

Jax: At what cost?

Brenda: No. I mean, who's looking at price tags, you know? We never used to.

Jax: You sure?

Brenda: Yeah. We can be friends, right? We can do this. We can be friends.

Jax: All right. We can be friends.

Courtney: Thanks for driving me to work.

Doree: It's no problem.

Courtney: I can take it from here.

Courtney: Ooh. Looks like there's going to be a storm.

Doree: Well, you know where to find us if this guys gives you any more trouble.

Courtney: Okay. Thanks, again.

Jason: Courtney.

Courtney: Hey.

Jason: Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. How are you doing?

Courtney: Tons better. Taggert's taking care of everything.

Jason: Just be careful. Coleman's got a thing for you.

Courtney: I was afraid of that.

Jason: I'll keep an eye on him.

Courtney: Taggert's going to take things from here.

Jason: A.J. upset?

Courtney: I just mentioned your name too much, that's all. But I really appreciate all that you've done for me. I don't think that I could've managed without you.

Waitress: Courtney? You got a call.

Courtney: Thanks. It's just A.J. making sure I got here. Hello?

[Rosie barks]

Courtney: I know it's you.

[Rosie barks]

Jason: Was that him?

Courtney: I heard Rosie barking.

Jason: He's in your apartment. You call the cops and you call A.J. I'll meet you over there.

Skye: Then you know Haldol?

Dr. Caldwell: Yeah. It can be used to manage certain symptoms of illnesses, but --

Skye: Well, is this it? Can you tell it's the drug just by looking at it?

Dr. Caldwell: Not unless you tell me why.

Skye: Oh. Yeah, my sister got those in Switzerland ages ago and she wanted to make sure they were still good. I just thought I'd give it a shot.

Dr. Caldwell: Yeah, well, she should check with her doctor.

Skye: I know, but, frankly, he's more interested in playing golf than he is in treating her. I mean, not that I blame him. Her disease is so difficult, but -- hey, if you have a problem identifying them -- I really -- I understand. It's okay.

Dr. Caldwell: Let me run them down to the lab real quick.

Skye: Really? You could do that?

Dr. Caldwell: I know how difficult it is for caregivers.

Skye: Oh, I appreciate that so much. Thank you.

Dr. Caldwell: You're welcome.

Skye: Thanks.

Sonny: If it had been my baby, I would have done the right thing. I'd have worked out some kind of custody, you know? And fought with Alexis every day for the rest of my life. I'm just -- just trying to, you know, work it out, that's all.

Carly: I never should've believed Alexis. I should've known that this was all about her still trying to have a hold on you.

Sonny: She wanted my baby so she could take it away from me. It's a strange kind of revenge.

Carly: Sonny, how long did Alexis try to be important in our lives? Having your baby is a sure way to do it.

Sonny: She doesn't understand what a child really means to me. But you do. That's why it kills me that you kept the secret.

Alexis: How were you able to pull this off so quickly?

Ned: Same way I run E.L.Q. -- just be prepared. As soon as Grandfather started asking questions, it was actually sort of easy to anticipate his next move.

Alexis: I should've known you'd be able to handle this.

Ned: Call it creative gatekeeping.

Alexis: I had this fantasy, you know, that one day I would be able to tell Sonny the truth, and that he would understand and he would keep his distance and let me raise her on my own.

Ned: As soon as this child is born, Sonny would've ripped her right out of your arms.

Alexis: He can't know the truth.

Ned: Right. And now he never will.

Edward: May I offer you my congratulations?

Ned: You've got to be kidding.

Edward: Brought you these and these nice chocolates. And, look, this very sizable addition to your campaign fund. See?

Alexis: No.

Edward: Well, I -- I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have Ned as the father of your little girl.

[Rosie barks]

[Rosie whimpers]

[Rosie barks]

[Rosie barks]

Courtney: Jason, are you here? Rosie, it's okay. Oh, my God. Jason? Jason?

[Rosie barks]

[Door closes]

Carly: It's like every piece of information that I've got came from Alexis. She made me think that I figured it all out and then she threw it in my face. She kept saying how you wanted to be with the mother of your child.

Sonny: It's -- hey, you know what? It's over. You lied, she lied. It's all pointless.

Carly: No, it's not pointless. Sonny, I told you the truth as I knew it, even though I was scared, even though I knew that you would blame me and get mad, which you are. Hey.

Sonny: What?

Carly: I told you the truth and I was honest. That has got to count for something.

Sonny: Okay, if you expect me to trust you again and just go on, donít.

Ned: So how many ripped-up checks will it take before you get the message?

Alexis: I don't want your money, Edward.

Edward: There'll come a day when you will.

Alexis: How could you even think of trading my baby for Michael?

Ned: Admit it, Grandfather, that was your plan.

Edward: What is so wrong with wanting a legitimate Quartermaine heir? And you, young lady, how could you lead poor Ned along while you were sleeping with Sonny?

Ned: "Poor Ned"? "Poor Ned"?

Edward: I'm just happy that we have a true Quartermaine heir, and your little girl is going to lead a splendid life. Oh, she will inherit a fortune.

Alexis: Which is increasing by the minute, now that Ned is running E.L.Q.

Edward: And, you know, when she's old enough, hmm, she can run the empire herself.

Alexis: Do you want to do the honors or shall I?

Ned: Please, go ahead.

Alexis: My daughter will never live in your house, she will never take a dime of your money, and she will never live the life that you lead.

Edward: Your daughter will need a very steady upbringing, dear.

Alexis: Ned and I will handle it.

Edward: And what if the little thing wants to visit her grandmother, huh? Who are you going to choose? You going to choose Lila or Helena?

Ned: Grandfather, something's stinking up this room and I don't think it's the flowers.

Edward: You think a long time before you shut me out.

Ned: Get lost.

Skye: Doctor? Hi. Look, I know you're busy, but I was wondering if you found out anything about that medication that we discussed earlier?

Dr. Caldwell: Right, the Haldol, except it isnít.

Skye: Really?

Dr. Caldwell: Yeah. What you gave me was a mild sedative.

Skye: Oh. Well, so then these pills will do absolutely nothing to manage the symptoms of the disease that we discussed?

Dr. Caldwell: Not at all. No, not at all. It might cause a little bit of drowsiness, but that's about it. The patient would be better off taking a multivitamin.

Skye: Well, thank you so much. I guess my sister must've just gotten her medications mixed up. I will call her.

Dr. Caldwell: Tell her to call her doctor.

Skye: I certainly will. Thank you so much.

Brenda: Uh, Skye. Hey. What are you doing here?

Skye: How's Jax?

Brenda: He's -- he's much better.

Skye: Good. I'll probably wait till he's asleep and then I'll take a peek in.

Brenda: Oh, good. He's really making progress. He really loves you.

Skye: You sound surprised.

Brenda: Okay, well, so much for being civil.

Skye: Sorry, I'm -- it's just been a very long day for the both of us and -- you look really exhausted.

Brenda: Oh, thank you.

Skye: I just mean, should you really be pushing yourself this hard?

Brenda: Oh, I'm okay. I have medication, so --

Skye: Oh.

Brenda: Oh, actually, thank you for reminding me.

Skye: Really, it's a good thing you can get it here, huh?

Brenda: Oh, no, I have it from before. I always carry it on me.

Skye: Oh, can I get you a glass of water or something?

Brenda: Oh, that's okay. Thanks.

Skye: Yeah, well, you know, I just remembered I have to be somewhere, so I'm going to get going. Good night, Brenda.

Skye: Zurich, Switzerland. The Reinmar Clinic. R-e-I-n-m-a-R. Look, just connect me, okay? I know it's more expensive, just do it. Yes. I'm calling from the United States. I'd like to see one of your doctors. Well, as soon as possible. I'll be taking the next flight out of Kennedy. I think I have a serious disorder.

Jax: Brenda.

Brenda: You okay? You dreaming of walking?

Jax: No. I was dreaming of making love to you.

Brenda: Jax --

Brenda: Don't say that.

Jax: Well, it's true. I'm getting stronger every day because of you. I need to know that I can make love. Can we do that?

Brenda: We shouldn't.

Jax: Brenda?

Brenda: Hey.

Jax: Hey.

Brenda: You okay? You dreaming of walking?

Jax: No. I was -- I was dreaming of making love to you.

Sonny: Hey, Ned? Will you tell your grandfather to stay out of my private life? And make it clear to him that I won't trade Michael to the Quartermaines for any reason.

Ned: Oh, okay. I'll pass on the message. And here's one for you -- stay away from Alexis. She has a baby to bring into this world. She also has an election to win. And then with any luck, she'll be putting you in jail.

Sonny: Well, she can try, Ned.

Ned: You know, maybe you think you're above the law and maybe you're right, but I'm putting you on notice.

Sonny: What does that mean?

Ned: It means my family has been suffering because of you for years. And I'm not just talking about the financial drain on the docks. I'm talking about my family -- Jason, Emily, Kristina. And Alexis is right -- you do have blood on your hands, and it's going to cost you.

Sonny: Are you threatening me again, Ned?

Ned: I'm going to make you pay, even if it takes the rest of my life.

Carly: Well, I figured it all out.

Alexis: Visiting hours are over, Carly.

Carly: You knew that this baby was Nedís from the very start, and you lied because you wanted Sonny all for yourself.

Alexis: You're actually serious.

Carly: Yeah, well, you were. You wanted me to keep your big secret so it would drive a wedge between me and Sonny. This is all about your pathetic crush on him.

Alexis: Carly, go away, and thank God that you and I will never have to speak to each other again.

Carly: You are such a hypocrite. All your speeches and your gallons of tears -- they were for one thing and one thing only. You're still in love with Sonny. Get over it, Alexis, or I will make sure you never hurt him again.

Sonny: You are threatening me again. You're getting in way over you head here, Ned.

Ned: What the hell Ė

[Rosie barks]

A.J.: Hey, Courtney? What the hell --

[Rosie whimpers]

A.J.: Courtney! You all right?

[Rosie barks]

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

[Doorknob rattles]

Jax: So why don't you tell me how you're really feeling.

Ned: She's pregnant!

Carly: Ow!

Sonny: Hey! Get your hands off my wife!

Carly: Sonny, it's okay.

Alexis: Stop it! How many people have to die before you stop it?
