Previously on "General Hospital" --
Brenda: I do love that cottage.
Alcazar: I know where she is.
Brenda: You're in danger, and I really do have to leave tonight.
Jax: Brenda, you're not leaving until we catch Alcazar.
Sonny: I hear you with this, you hear me with that.
Tagliati: She's wired. You'll join Sonny in hell.
Sonny: What's going on, Carly?
Jason: Jax told you he's been meeting with me?
Skye: Are you saying that he hasn't? Jason was here tonight. Who were you really with?
Skye: Jason was here. Now, it's pretty obvious he's barely been in contact with you. You both may be working against Alcazar, but you're not doing it together. So, where were you, Jax? What was so compelling that it took priority over our brand-new marriage?
Jax: You're right. I lied.
Skye: Yeah, well, we've established that much.
Jax: Look, Alcazar's more of a threat than I anticipated. And I'm not going to wait around until he hurts someone that I love, so I've been pursuing some leads.
Skye: Trying to find Alcazar?
Jax: It's the only way to put an end to this once and for all.
Alcazar: Yeah. You know who this is, so I'll make it quick. Brenda Barrett's last known place of residence is a house in Port Charles, a cottage in the woods. Yeah, it's on record somewhere. I need the address. I'll call you back in 10 minutes.
Brenda: I don't need your help. All right? In fact, I would be really happy if I never had to see your face again. And I'm pretty sure you feel the same way about me, so good-bye.
Jason: Good-bye. Hello. I gave my word to protect you.
Brenda: Well, I can take care of myself.
Jason: Yeah? How's that? By counting on Jax? He left you alone in an unguarded house.
Brenda: Luis doesn't know about this house.
Jason: What, you never mentioned it once? Brenda, think, because if you said anything about this house in the last four years, Alcazar is going to know about it. You know, if you don't want to be protected, if you just want to go back to Alcazar --
Jason: Why don't you just save us a bunch of grief and call the guy, tell him to pick you up.
Brenda: I'm not going back to Alcazar, and Jax is helping me now, all right, so you don't have to worry about it. You know, him helping me doesn't include keeping me prisoner, unlike you.
Jason: Yeah. That's nice.
Brenda: Don't touch me. I am not going with you.
Jason: I'm taking you somewhere secure.
Brenda: Right. Ok. Well, here's the thing -- I'm not going. So why don't you go to hell, and I'll wait here for Jax.
Alan: What the hell were you doing groping my wife in my hospital in my face?
Operator: Hospital operator.
Monica: Oh. Yeah. This is -- this is Dr. Monica Quartermaine. It's an emergency. I need you to patch me through to 555--
Jason: Come on. You're wasting time we don't have.
Brenda: Listen to me. Let go of me.
Brenda: I am not going with you.
Jason: Brenda, if I have to haul you away, I will. How many times are we going to do this? Or you can cooperate, for once in your life.
Jason: Ok, now, be -- be quiet. Hello.
Monica: Jason. This is your mother, and this is an emergency. Look, I was -- I was grabbed at the hospital and I was taken to a man who had been shot and needed medical attention.
Jason: Well, did you get his name? Was it Alcazar?
Monica: Yes. Yes, it was Alcazar, and, Jason, he intends to kill you.
Jason: Ok, where are you right now?
Monica: Well, I'm at the hospital. I'm -- I'm in an elevator.
Monica: Yes, I am. Look, I -- I took a bullet out of this Alcazar, and I've convinced him that he's going to die if he doesn't get antibiotics. So -- so this guard brought me back to the hospital to get the medicine. And I managed to get away from him and get into an elevator. And I -- right now I guess I'm -- well, I'm between six and five, I guess. But, Jason, I'm really afraid if I open the doors, that guard is going to be here.
Jason: Ok, is Alcazar strong enough to walk?
Monica: Well, with the medicine, he could be in a few hours.
Jason: All right, stay right there. Keep the elevator stopped. I'm on my way.
Brenda: What? Who -- who was that? Who?
Jason: It was Monica. Alcazar has been shot. He needed a doctor, so one of his men kidnapped her. She got away, but now she's -- she's stuck in an elevator.
Brenda: Well, you should go to her.
Jason: No, no, I have to get you somewhere safe.
Brenda: I'm fine. You should go to your Mom. Jax is on his way here.
Jason: No, you're not fine. I cannot leave you alone, Brenda.
Brenda: Right. You said Luis was shot? How bad is he? I mean, can he move?
Jason: His people can.
Brenda: Ok. Listen -- I understand that you have to protect me because you made this promise to Sonny, but, you know, Sonny's gone. And I would love to officially relieve you of this obligation.
Andy: Get your hands on the table, gentlemen. Everyone else, put your hands behind your head where we can see them! Everyone here is under arrest.
Tagliati: For what?
Andy: Rico violations.
Scott: This is a very dangerous place for you to be. Search the premises, see who else is hanging around.
Carly: Don't -- don't shoot! I'm not armed! Don't!
Carly: Are you insane? You are making a mistake. These gentlemen and I, we were just having --
Andy: Look, you're in serious trouble, Mrs. Corinthos. All right? You've been caught negotiating with representatives from the biggest crime families on the eastern seaboard.
Tagliati: This is entrapment. The woman's a snitch.
Carly: The police hounded my husband to his grave. I would never, under any circumstances, cooperate with them.
Scott: Mrs. Corinthos isn't on our payroll, but I would like a word with her.
Carly: No. You know what? I don't need you to vouch for me. You know, why don't you go ahead and cuff me, drag me down to the station, just like you did on my wedding night. Oh, how ironic is that? The police bust in on my wedding, they bust in on my husband's funeral, and now they are busting in on my husband's wake.
Andy: Wakes happen closer to the funeral.
Carly: Well, my husband's funeral was private. Therefore, these gentlemen were not able to attend. I suggested that they meet us here at Sonny's favorite restaurant so we could pay him tribute.
Andy: You can't seriously think that's going to fly, right?
Carly: Who, by the way, was murdered. Do you remember? How is that investigation going? What is keeping you so busy that you can't find Sonny's killer? Is it jaywalking tickets? Parking tickets? What?
Scott: Mrs. Corinthos is still in shock over her husband's death. She was obviously lured here under false pretenses. So why don't you get these clowns down to the station --
Carly: For what? What? What? What? You can't arrest us.
Scott: While I have a little talk here with the widow Corinthos. All right, get them out of here.
Scott: What's the matter? Aren't you going to say thank you?
Carly: Yeah, when hell freezes over. They think I'm a snitch now.
Scott: Wise up! I just saved your life! I could arrest you on rico violations, but I'm going to let you walk out of courtesy to Bobbie. But that courtesy only goes so far.
Sonny: Hey, soon as Carly gets in the car, drive us directly home. I want you to pull up to the front of the building, let Carly out, then park the limo near the service elevator so I can go up without anybody seeing. All right.
Carly: What happened? What happened? All of a sudden, I couldn't hear anything. Where did you go? What --
Sonny: How many times did I tell you not to do something, you keep doing it over and over and over again?
Carly: What? I couldn't hear you!
Sonny: You jeopardized my business, my relationship with powerful and dangerous men. Worst of all, you played with your life! Unacceptable!
Brenda: I'm going to be ok.
Jason: No, you're not going to be ok. You're sick, you're scared, you trust the wrong people. That's how you got involved with Alcazar in the first place.
Brenda: Oh, wait, wait. You guys aren't the wrong people?
Jason: Brenda, I would never let anything happen to you.
Brenda: Right, no matter how much you hate me.
Jason: Yeah, right, no matter how much.
Brenda: Listen, here is the thing. Don't you -- haven't you figured this out yet? No matter where you take me, I am going to find a way to escape. I mean, your men -- they aren't the sharpest. And I'm going to be put in more danger than I was to begin with. So I will do anything you want. I will -- I will do whatever you say, but I am staying here.
Jason: Ok. All right! I need to get to Monica, ok? You need to stay inside. If you hear anything, you do not go out the front door. You go out the window in the laundry room, ok? It's surrounded by bushes, that's the fastest way you're going to get to the woods.
Jason: You hide there and you call me. And if anything goes wrong, you get to the Quartermaines', you hide in the boathouse, and I will find you there.
Brenda: Ok, but nothing's going to happen.
Jason: Ok. Fine. Do not, under any circumstances, go to Jax. You got that?
Jason: Ok, because that's what Alcazar is waiting for.
Brenda: I know.
Jason: You will walk right into a trap.
Brenda: You're right. I'm not going to. I promise. Just go to your Mom. Go.
Jax: Look, I'm sorry that I lied to you. I just didn't want to worry you, Skye.
Skye: And how do you think that's working, hmm? After a lifetime of wrong turns and missed chances, disasters of my own doing, I finally found a man that I can love and trust with my own heart. And then on what's supposed to be our honeymoon, I find out that he's already lying to me, to keep me from knowing that he's risking his life -- excuse me -- risking our life together to catch a dangerous killer who's targeted you for I don't even know what reason. Do you?
Jax: I don't give a damn about Alcazar's reasons. I just want him stopped.
Skye: That's what the police are for.
Jax: The police. The police have had ample time, Skye. I don't know what their deal is. Maybe they're keeping Alcazar in circulation for some twisted reason. I don't know.
Skye: Then let Jason deal with him, ok? From what I understand, that's actually his profession. You know, people are always saying he's a hit man. Let him prove it. Let him risk his own life. Evidently, he enjoys it. But you need to stay out of it, Jax. You -- you need to stay here with me, ok? Or, better yet, let's go. Let's go to the south of France, and by the time we come back, it'll be all over with.
Skye: Don't. Jax, don't answer that.
Jax: It could be good news. Hello?
Brenda: Hey, it's me. I'm sorry I had to call you, but Jason was here. He found me. He had to leave, but he's going to be back. Jax, I don't want you to come here anymore.
Jax: I'll be right there.
Skye: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Did you not hear a word that I said, or don't you care that you're my whole world, Jax? Come on, I have just found you, I cannot lose you.
Jax: Skye, I love you. And I swear that I will keep every promise I've made to you from our honeymoon to spending the rest of our lives together. But that is not going to happen until Alcazar is dealt with.
Skye: Let Jason deal with him.
Jax: Sonny relied on Jason. Look what happened to him. I can't hide from Alcazar, Skye, or the complications he's brought with him. I have to face them and I have to put them to rest somehow. It's the only way I can be free to be with you. You have to promise me that you'll stay here, ok? And I swear that I will come back.
Skye: How long will you be gone?
Jax: Just -- maybe a couple days.
Skye: Oh, my God.
Jax: Skye, please. Just promise me that you'll stay here and you'll stay out of this, ok? I can't be worried about you, as well. You know, perhaps it might even be better if you just went to the south of France ahead of me and I'll --
Skye: No, no, no, no. I'm staying here. No. Do you have any idea how much this scares me?
Jax: I -- I know, but we'll get through this.
Skye: Yeah, we better. Because if anything were to happen to you, I swear, I would --
Jax: No, no, no, no, no. Nothing is going to happen to me, ok? Nothing.
Skye: Ok. Right. I know. You said as long as we're honest with each other, that we'll get through anything, right?
Skye: I love you.
Jax: I love you, too.
Jax: I got to go.
Carly: Is anyone waiting?
Paulie: No one.
Carly: Ok, good. Please, Mr. Corinthos is going to be upstairs. Make sure that the stairs are secure.
Carly: Hey. You know the wingback chair in the bedroom? What do you prefer, suede or maroon brocade?
Sonny: What the hell are you talking about?
Sonny: What the hell are you talking about?
Carly: Oh, I'm talking about the -- the all-important bedroom. The only room in our home where I am on equal footing with you. The only place where I don't risk getting screamed at for having an independent thought.
Sonny: Ok, do not make this about sexism or equal rights or any of that crap because you should have never been at that meeting.
Carly: It is not my fault that the earpiece broke and I couldn't --
Sonny: You know, I knew something -- I knew something was going to go wrong!
Carly: Well, you know what? Don't worry about it, ok, because it'll never be a problem again.
Sonny: Yeah, whatever.
Carly: Because you know what I'm going to do?
Carly: I'm going to stay in this house and I am going to decorate. I am going to decorate room to room, top to bottom, and you know what?
Carly: When I'm finished, it's going to start all over again. It'll be like Murphy brown's painter. You know what? I will never be finished. Will this suit you? Will that fit into your idea of what the perfect, little, supportive wifey is?
Sonny: Carly, go ahead and do what you want. Decorate the penthouse. Start another business. Go back to school and become a scientist if that's what you want. But one thing you will never do, you will never participate in my business. You should have never been at that meeting. It's my fault. But I'm going to end it right now!
Carly: Well, you know what? You can't. Because you are dead and Alcazar is still out there. So you know what? You need me.
Sonny: I'll blow the whole deal! I don't care! I'll call everybody. I'll make -- I'll have a press conference. I'll tell everybody in Port Charles I'm still alive before I ever let you get involved in the mob.
Jason: Ok, I'm here. Get off on the first floor, and I'll be waiting.
Alan: Jason. Jason, have you seen Monica?
Alan: She's been missing for two days. Then I see her kissing some strange guy on the 10th floor. She goes into the elevator, he goes down the stairwell.
Monica: Oh. Oh, Alan.
Alan: Monica, who the hell was that guy?
Jason: Look, I don't have time for you to explain.
Jason: Do you think you can find the place where they took you?
Alan: Took you where?
Monica: Well, I was blindfolded, but I think I can get you close.
Alan: Were you kidnapped?
Monica: Alan, you're not helping. Really, I'll tell you all about it later, ok?
Jason: Let's go.
Alan: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait, you're not going anywhere until I find out what's --
Jason: No, Alan -- Alan, this is important, ok? I need Monica's help. I need your help. I need you to let us go. I will bring her back safe when everything's finished.
Alan: Is this about whoever killed Sonny?
Monica: Alan, I'll tell you all about it later. I promise, I'll be ok.
Alcazar: Did you get the medication? Did you handle Dr. Quartermaine?
Man: Yes, sir.
Alcazar: It's too bad, really. She's obviously a good doctor. I'm living proof.
Alcazar: I'm fairly sure I know Brenda's whereabouts. Once I get the address, I'll find her while you take care of Jax. I want him dead -- tonight. Then we can finally get out of this place.
Jax: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you.
Brenda: What did you do? How did you get in here?
Jax: I ran through the woods.
Brenda: Well, what did you tell Skye?
Jax: That I'll be back.
Brenda: Did you tell her that I'm here?
Jax: No, I didn't tell her. I didn't think it's a good idea that she knows yet. Look, Skye loves me, ok, and she would find a way to follow me, and I want to protect her.
Brenda: I don't want you to come here anymore.
Jax: I know. That's why I have to take you somewhere.
Brenda: Listen to me. Luis was shot.
Jax: By whom?
Brenda: I don't know, but his guys grabbed Jason's Mom because Luis needed a doctor, and that's what happened. She called Jason, he went to go see if she was ok. Hopefully, he's going to find Luis and this whole thing will be over.
Jax: Well, I'm not relying on Jason for anything. Until I know Alcazar is no longer a threat, I got to get you out of here. I'm going to fly you to New Orleans tonight.
Carly: You are punishing me for trying to help you.
Sonny: What part of disrespecting the five families and almost getting yourself killed do you think is helpful?
Carly: The part where I made everyone believe that you were dead. The part where I told my mother lies and everyone else that loves us. It's the part where -- you know what? -- I cried my eyes out, thinking about what it would have been like if you really were dead. You know what, Sonny? You needed me, and I came through. So I'm sorry if it wasn't exactly the way you wanted it, but I did the best that I could.
Sonny: I am just -- I'm just stating a fact. You will not be part of my business again. It made me a rich man, but it damn near destroyed me, and I'm not going to let it destroy you. Can we sit down?
Sonny: You almost died tonight, all right? If Baldwin and the rest of the cops hadn't shown up when they did, those men would have killed you for wearing that wire.
Carly: Sonny, I would have come up with a way --
Sonny: You always come up with a way.
Carly: I would have said Jason was on the other end or Benny or someone.
Sonny: No amount of bluffing, no grandstanding with a baseball bat would have saved you. Do you understand what I'm saying? You almost died because of me, because I put that wire on you instead of taking care of this weeks ago, which is what I should have done.
Carly: Ok, well, you know what, I am not -- I'm not dead. I am here, ok?
Sonny: The mob -- the mob -- the mob is my life, not yours. Ok? Do you understand what I'm saying? I -- you know, I accept the risks I take for myself, but I'm not going to accept them for you. I know that doesn't sound fair, but it's a fact. I love you. You are my wife. You are my life partner. But I will end this right here before I let you get tainted by my business. I know you were trying to help. Ok? I know you were trying to help. But you are in way over your head, and I put you there. I kept telling myself that this was just a stall, that this was all going to be over as long as Alcazar is dealt with, but it's gone on way too long. I have risked too much. And I don't want -- I don't want to ever risk you again. Ok? All right.
Jason: Alcazar was here, but we missed him.
[Knock on door]
Skye: Just so you're aware, this house is surrounded by an armed security team. Should I scream, they will not hesitate to shoot you through your old, shriveled, evil heart, so don't tempt me.
Edward: Oh, on the contrary, I'm here to -- to congratulate my prodigal granddaughter. You see, I'm a -- I'm a pretty formidable opponent, my dear, but you've beaten me hands down, and I just thought I would drop by to give you the opportunity to gloat.
Skye: No. You've come to rub my nose in something. Since you are here, would you give grandmother this thank-you note for the beautiful crystal goblets she gave me and Jax for our wedding?
Edward: These belonged to my grandmother. I can't believe that Lila would give them away.
Skye: Well, unlike you, grandmother considers me family.
Edward: Oh, say, speaking of families, where is -- where's your besotted groom? Oh, don't tell me his attention has wandered already.
Skye: That's it. Get out.
Edward: You mustn't blame yourself, dear. You see, this is a very common occurrence to goal-oriented and very competitive men like Jax. Once the prize -- you, in this case -- once the prize has been won, then these men quickly lose interest and want to go on to their next objective. I don't have to point out the obvious to you, do I? I imagine that's where Jax is now -- pursuing his newest heart's desire, hmm?
Brenda: Why New Orleans?
Jax: Because it's closer than Alaska and I know you happen to like it there. I've got the jet standing by. I'll fly you down, and you can stay in the French Quarter if you want.
Brenda: You want me to stay in the same place that we stayed the night before our wedding that didn't happen?
Jax: No, no. You can stay anywhere you want. I mean, it doesn't even have to be New Orleans. You can --
Brenda: No, New Orleans is fine.
Jax: That's good.
Brenda: Yeah, it's fine.
Jax: Ok. Because I thought, you know, you felt comfortable there last time and, believe me, I don't want to leave you alone. But I have to drop you off down there, then come back here and deal with Alcazar. I'll make sure that no one is able to track us when we get down there.
Brenda: I think that New Orleans is a great idea. Jason won't look for me there. Luis doesn't know about it. I -- I never told him about that night. We were so happy that night.
Jax: Oh, Brenda. Why didn't you trust me? Why didn't you love me enough to -- to believe me that I would stand by you through anything?
Brenda: It doesn't matter anymore. I'm sorry.
Jax: I made my vows to Skye. She gave me her heart. Now I don't know how to keep those vows because I made those same promises to you. Why didn't you believe them?
Brenda: I wanted you to be happy.
Edward: You know, it must be very painful to find out that what you thought was eternal love is really only the thrill of the chase after all, hmm? Well, at least, though, I see you have some very beautiful wedding gifts here and a handsome divorce settlement, I hope. Let's see, you will be the -- one, two, three -- the fourth Mrs. Ex -- no, no, you will be the third Mrs. -- Ex - Mrs. Jacks because his marriage to Brenda was invalid.
Skye: I have an idea, grandfather. No, I do. Look, why don't you slip me some copies of my husband's previous divorce settlements. Or, wait a minute, get me some incriminating photos of him with some mysterious beauty. Or better yet, get me a tape of Jax professing his undying devotion to some other woman, hmm?
Edward: It's his pattern, Skye.
Skye: It's all in your devious little mind, grandfather. No, I have complete faith in your ability to fabricate "proof" that Jax is straying. But, you see, there's a difference. This time I won't believe you. I know my husband, ok, and I know the love that I see in his eyes is real and lasting. And I know when Jax makes a promise, he means it. And he has promised to love me and to be faithful always.
Edward: Then where is he now? Hmm? You don't know, my dear, or you'd have told me the second that I asked you.
Skye: I assure you, grandfather, what Jax is doing right now is all about our future, ok? Now, Jax will be home soon and I will be here waiting, and you and your vile insinuations won't even be a memory because -- you know what? -- You don't have any power over me anymore. You don't. I am no longer that needy, insecure woman that you could play like a violin. No, and there is no way because I have love now, ok, and I have the life that I always wanted. And there is no way that I am going to let you trick me into throwing that away again. Now, your coming here and your attempt to undermine my marriage has been a complete failure. You tried, you came here, it failed. Now go.
Edward: You know -- you know, my dear, if you could see yourself right now, you are positively alight with righteous indignation. It -- it puts a very becoming flush to your cheek. But it won't last. You're a realist, my dear, and in your heart you know that if Jax really loved you, nothing would have taken him away.
Skye: You know what, grandfather? I am so happy that you came by here. I really am. Do you know why? Because it made me realize that my faith in Jax can't be undermined, even by you. You don't have that old power over me anymore. Now, please, go torment somebody else, hmm? Oh, don't forget to give grandmother that thank-you note, all right?
Edward: Don't say I didn't warn you.
Skye: Careful, grandfather, don't make me mad. I just might pick up one of those goblets that you treasure so much, huh?
Carly: Ok, um -- I hereby swear I will never attend another wise guy meeting and I will never speak to Sammy Tagliati or any of his associates. And if I am approached by anyone with any mob ties whatsoever, I will immediately claim to be helpless and brainless and act as if I have no interest or understanding of your business whatsoever. Are you satisfied?
Sonny: First of all, you are not brainless. You are smart. And you are way too brave for your own good. When things get dangerous, you charge in swinging instead of running for your life, and that scares the hell out of me. You see your hands, huh? They're nice and clean, right? I want them to stay that way. You understand what I'm saying?
Carly: I don't. But I'll do what you need. And I will continue to play the grieving widow and act like you are dead until you can get rid of Alcazar. Ok?
Sonny: Thank you.
Sonny: That's all right.
Jason: Yeah, I want to talk to Sonny.
Carly: It's Jason.
Sonny: What's up?
Jason: All right, listen. I've tracked Alcazar to where he's been hiding, but he's already moved. There's a city map here with a section torn out. It's the one that covers where Brenda's cottage is, and she's there alone.
Jason: Yeah. You're closer than I am, and Alcazar may already be there, so you need to get to her quick.
Sonny: Ok, I'm on my way. Just meet me there.
Carly: What? What's going on? Where are you -- you can't go anywhere.
Sonny: No, I --
Carly: You can't go to meet Jason. You have to stay out of --
Sonny: I got to go. I got to handle it.
Sonny: I got to intercept Alcazar.
Carly: No. No, Sonny, don't. Send -- send 50 men with guns. Don't go yourself.
Sonny: I -- I don't have time.
Scott: Tell Mrs. Corinthos that the district attorney wants to talk to her.
Paulie: She already went to bed.
Scott: Well, wake her up. Talk to her, otherwise I'll be back in 10 minutes with a police escort.
Carly: What do you want?
Scott: You better be nice to me, otherwise you could be facing federal racketeering charges.
Carly: I was having dinner.
Scott: Well, you picked the wrong people to have dinner with because those mobsters, you know, they know how to play the game. They're making you out to be a bigger criminal than your husband was. Now, see, I can either let it slide, look the other way. Depends on what you do for me.
Carly: Well, you know none of this is true.
Scott: What I do know is true is that you met with Tagliati the night of Sonny's funeral and since then, you've had two meetings with other family representatives. And everything in this penthouse is paid for with dirty money. You are guilty. You may not be guilty of the charges that are dumping in you lap right now, but, you know, sometimes when I prosecute, I'm not too picky about details.
Carly: Ok. Well, if you do charge me, it's a sure way to lose my mother.
Scott: Well, I convicted her brother and sent him to life in prison. I wonder what kind of a sentence I could get for you. See, now, you got in bed with the mob, and it's going to cost you. You could either negotiate with me some kind of a deal or you can take your chances with the federal boys. It's your choice.
Carly: Ok, Scott, fine. I will deal. What do you want?
Alcazar: This place is just as you described it, Brenda.
Brenda: Luis, don't.
Jax: Brenda, run, ok? Get out of here. He's not going to shoot you. Go!
Alcazar: You move and I shoot him. You know me, Brenda, I don't miss.
Jax: What do you want?
Alcazar: To keep my promise to Brenda. I'm going to take care of her, and I'm going to get rid of you and Sonny forever.
Brenda: Luis, you know I never wanted you to hurt anybody. Don't hurt anybody.
Alcazar: Well, then clearly, we had a misunderstanding. You obviously didn't understand my ways.
Jax: Don't put this on Brenda and try to make her think your crimes are her fault. You've had four years to play mind games with her. You took the sacrifices she was willing to make for the people she loves and turned it to your own advantage. It's over! You're a dead man.
Alcazar: How come I got the gun?
Jax: Then fire it. I'm betting I can get to you before you kill me and she can get out of here. And even if I die tonight, Jason Morgan's still out there and so is my brother, Jerry. Someone will find you for this and kill you. You understand? By wanting Brenda to yourself, you've lost her forever.
Brenda: No -- no!
Jax: Brenda, run! Get out of here! Go!
Alcazar: One more step and I blow his brains out!
Brenda: Luis --
Alcazar: He doesn't have to die tonight unless you want him to, Brenda. You know me, I will do it.
Alcazar: At this point, I don't got nothing to lose. Now, come here.
Brenda: I'll do whatever you want.
Alcazar: Yeah, I thought you'd see it my way. We're leaving you, Jax.
Brenda: Please, Luis, just call 911 for him.
Alcazar: No, no, you call 911 from the car. You call --
Brenda: Call for help! You shoot him, you shoot me, too.
Jax: This isn't going to work. Brenda, you need to run now. Go, ok? He's not going to fire at you. He's hurt. He won't be able to catch you. Just go.
Alcazar: He's right. But, again, you go, you kill Jax. You stay here, he bleeds to death. So you can go on shielding him with your body until he dies in your arms, or you can leave with me, get in the car, call 911, and save his life. The choice is yours.
Jax: No, Brenda. Brenda, don't -- don't do -- don't do this.
Brenda: Jax. You're going to be ok. Go home to your wife.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Lucky: All I want for Alexis is to nail Scott Baldwin.
Ned: Tell everybody what really happened between you and Sonny.
Scott: Help me take Alexis down, or you're going to pay the price.
Sonny: It's me.
Brenda: Don't touch me.
Jason: You need to talk to him, keep him awake. He's going into shock.
Brenda: Nobody leaves, remember?
