Alcazar: Don't come back uninvited. I won't be as cordial next time.
A.J.: Take the money. Start a new club. Forget this ever happened.
Sonny: Every time you look at Courtney, I want you to remember that she's stripping and I want you to remember why.
Laura: I killed my own father! Oh, God!
Laura: No, no. Oh --
Rick's voice: There's my little girl. Look at my daughter. Isn't she beautiful?
Theresa: Oh, my, yes. She'll make a gorgeous bride.
Rick: Well, if she gets going. Sweetheart, you're not even dressed yet. Come on.
Theresa: Your father's right. You don't want to keep the groom waiting.
Rick: This groom can wait a little bit. My daughter's worth waiting for. Honey? Are you okay? You're not getting cold feet again, are you?
Laura: I had a bad dream. A nightmare.
Rick: You want to tell me about it?
Laura: I don't want to say it out loud.
Rick: Sometimes, sweetheart, it is better to say things out loud.
Laura: I dreamed that Luke told me that I murdered both of you.
Theresa: Well, as you can see, we're alive and well.
Rick: Yeah. I think it's exactly what you said. It's a dream, a bad nightmare. You don't want to spoil this perfect day, do you?
Laura: It is my day, isn't it?
Rick: Could very well be the second greatest day in your entire life. Come on.
Laura: I'm getting married. And all the nightmares are over. And everything is going to be perfect from here on in.
Jason: You're nothing to me, A.J. I don't care about you. I don't care what happens to you or how many ways you trash your life. I could care less if you spent the next 20 years in prison. I saved you from that arson charge because Sonny's sister asked me to. Now you're starting to piss me off, so just go home and get out of my face!
A.J.: You know what? I don't have a home, Jason, thanks to you and Sonny. You know what I've got? I've got a marriage that's a sham, and a sham of a wife who pretended to believe in me while she stripped because she thought I was too weak! And to top it all off, the icing on the cake is she comes to you for everything, for all the help.
Jason: Courtney is as real as it gets. The only fake in your marriage is you.
A.J.: You know, what do you know about my marriage?
Jason: You know, I know you haven't changed. You still wreck everything you touch. Cars, windows, people -- it's all the same to you. You crash into whatever's right in front of you and you smash it to pieces, and now you're doing it to Courtney.
Courtney: Go away, please. I -- I can't do this, Carly.
Carly: Okay, just give it a chance, okay? Please, look, I'm not going to lie and say that I came over here because I had some overwhelming desire to become best friends with you, okay? But I am married to your brother, which makes us family. And you know, you and I -- we may not feel the ties that bind, but Sonny does. He loves you, Courtney. And I love him, and here I am.
Courtney: You -- Sonny and everybody else -- you guys said that I was making the biggest mistake of my life and insisted that A.J. didn't really love me. But you couldn't have been right. Could they?
Sonny: So what's the story, Jax? I want to hear the whole truth, nothing but the truth.
Jax: I don't have to justify myself to you.
Sonny: How did you meet up with Alcazar, huh? You were probably just candy-boying your way through Monte Carlo or wherever it is that you go. Somebody pointed to him and said, "See that man over there at the baccarat table? Bodyguards on either side? He sells tanks, bombs, nuclear devices to terrorists with money to pay," and you just made a beeline, right? So what's the plan? Because I know how much you love getting your hands dirty.
Jax: You don't have any room to criticize, Corinthos. And as for your paranoid ranting, there is some truth to that. Alcazar does plan to take you down. Now, you can make that about how much you hate me, or you can give it a rest and help me take him down.
Sonny: You want me to help you?
Jax: Well, either that or stay out of my way. I don't have time to play another round of king of the mountain with you, Corinthos. Alcazar is on my back, as well.
Sonny: Did he contaminate your warehouse, blow it up with an innocent woman inside? What has Alcazar cost you so far, Jax?
Jax: What I know about?
Jax: A fortune in oil drilling rights in Canada.
Sonny: Go ahead.
Jax: Alcazar offered to return the oil site map that he stole from me. In return, I have to leave Port Charles for good.
Sonny: Why does he care where you live?
Jax: I have no idea. Of course I refused, and he said that that would be an unwise choice.
Sonny: He threatened you?
Jax: Nothing so overt, but I got the message.
Sonny: Anything else?
Jax: I don't know, it depends. Are we making small talk here, or are we actually working towards a joint strategy?
Sonny: Well, hey, you know what, I'm still here.
Jax: That's not an answer.
Sonny: Alcazar thinks he has something I want. Do you have any idea what that is?
Jax: No. But I'm sure if we put our heads together we can figure it out. I happen to be fairly observant, and I did see something on the --
Sonny: You mean, you learned something since you let that madwoman drive Brenda over a cliff?
Jax: Yeah, we all know how brilliant you are at protecting women.
Sonny: Well, who have you protected? And why should I throw in with you? You can't even keep track of your own damn oil well. You know what? I'll pass.
Jax: Fine. Have it your way.
Sonny: Well --
Courtney: A.J. turned his back on his grandfather. He left his own family to be with me.
Courtney: And even after the money was gone, I mean, he was -- he was so happy here in this tiny, little apartment. He could not have been pretending.
Carly: Okay. Do you think that A.J. was happy because he told you so?
Courtney: Not just that. Carly, I saw it for myself. A.J. -- he was light and easy, and we laughed so much. I mean, he lit up every time that I walked into a room.
Carly: Okay, Courtney, please, please don't take what I'm going to say the wrong way because I don't mean to be patronizing in any way. Okay, but how many boyfriends have you had? Okay, that's what I thought. Courtney, you know what? It takes a really long time to figure out men, and even then we only get it half right most of the time, okay? Look -- but really, if somebody's getting drunk and they're driving into walls, it's a sure sign that something is wrong.
Courtney: Well, I fixed it. That is why I was stripping, Carly. I mean, to pay for the damages. And just as I said that he would fix everything else. He said that A.J. would not have to go to jail for burning the Oasis.
Carly: You know, people have been bailing A.J. out all his life, and it doesn't get him to change who he is.
Courtney: Ugh! Okay, Carly, you know what, you're not helping, okay? Would you just go? I need to think.
Carly: You know what? Courtney, you are thinking. You're thinking, and you have finally seen the truth, okay? A.J. is going to take every sacrifice that you make to try and save him, and he is going to turn that around and use it as an excuse to take his next drink so he can go on his next binge. Courtney you are so young, and you have so much of your life to live. I mean, being tied to A.J. -- Is it really what you want for the rest of your life?
A.J.: Not that it's any of your damn business, but I love my wife.
Jason: Well, that's what you say. But what you did was let her go out every night take her clothes off for a bunch of pigs.
A.J.: I didn't know she was stripping, Jason.
Jason: You didn't want to know, A.J., or you would have noticed that something was wrong. I saw it in her eyes.
A.J.: Oh, of course. The all-knowing Jason.
Jason: You know what? Don't try to make this about me because Courtney was miserable the time she got to club and the time she left and beyond. You could see it in her face. Her eyes were sad. Do you even look at your wife? You pay attention?
A.J.: Yeah, well, apparently you've been doing enough looking for the both of us. What the hell are you doing at a place like this? You like to watch, Jase? Is that it?
Jason: Sonny wants his sister safe. It was my job to keep her that way.
A.J.: Oh, that's right, I keep forgetting -- Jason's a big hero, right? The gangster saint.
Jason: Courtney - Courtney asked for my help because she wanted to protect you. And against my better judgment, agreed. So you get to go home instead of jail, and I can't believe you're sitting here throwing attitude about it.
A.J.: I don't want your protection, and I sure as hell don't want hers!
Jason: Well, then -- then stop needing it. Why don't you be a man for once. Just one time. Turn yourself in for torching the Oasis. Do your time and let Courtney go so she can have a real life.
Gia: Okay. What have you done?
Nikolas: I'm that obvious, huh?
Gia: Yes. How bad is it?
Nikolas: I don't know.
Gia: Well, did you cover your tracks?
Nikolas: What does that mean, cover my tracks?
Gia: Could you be arrested?
Nikolas: No, I couldn't, but someone could. Look, I just -- I followed my instincts, and just hope they're right.
Gia: Will tell me already?
Nikolas: Yeah, I met with Scott Baldwin.
Lucky: Ah, so you met with Scott Baldwin, huh? What did he want, other than wanting to throw my dad in jail for the rest of the time?
Nikolas: Well, that's about it.
Nikolas: Listen, right or wrong, I think the guy is sincere.
Lucky: What did you say?
Nikolas: He genuinely cares for our mother.
Lucky: Oh, come on, you didn't believe that.
Nikolas: You know it's true, Lucky. He's been nuts for Mom for years.
Lucky: Oh, no. No, that gives him even more reason to frame my dad.
Nikolas: Lucky, why can't you admit that maybe just once Luke might have gone off --
Nikolas: And that our mother is legitimately afraid of him? Hey, hey, listen to me -- your father might not be the most stable personality I've ever met. I have reason to back that, and you know it. I think there is big cause for concern here. I do.
Scott: You sneaky little bastard!
Nikolas: What the hell is your problem, Scott?
Scott: Back off, Lucky! You tipped off Luke. He left the barn and now he's dragged Laura God knows where!
Rick: What can I say? You are even lovelier than the first time.
Laura: Thank you. I'm so nervous.
Rick: Hear that? It's time.
Theresa: He's coming.
Theresa: Your future husband, of course.
Laura: Oh, no. He's not supposed to see me before the wedding.
Rick: Honey, the wedding is now.
Luke: Oh, here you are. Oh. Baby. Why did you run away?
Laura: I had to get ready. How do I look?
Luke: Like an angel.
Laura: Are you ready?
Luke: You betcha, cookie.
Laura: Did you see who's here? Rick. He's going to give me away, just like we planned.
[Knock on door]
Jax: It's open.
Alexis: Did I come at a bad time?
Jax: Yes, but don't feel you have to leave. It may last a while.
Alexis: I want to talk to you about Skye.
Jax: That's a bad subject. Can we change it?
Alexis: She's in a lot of trouble, Jax.
Carly: Hey. You don't have to worry. Your sister's all right.
Sonny: And how do you know?
Carly: Because I went to see her.
Sonny: You --
Sonny: Nothing, nothing, nothing. She spoke to you?
Carly: Yeah. Yeah, sheís your sister and you know what, I tried very hard to be nice.
Sonny: She understand A.J.'s a monster?
Carly: She's working on it.
Sonny: What does that mean?
Carly: It means that Courtney has opened her mind to the possibility that A.J. is not Prince Charming.
Sonny: Not good enough.
Carly: Sonny -- she loves the creep. It's going to take her a little bit of time before she can completely turn away from him.
Sonny: You know, it doesn't [missing] A.J. did her a favor by burning down the Oasis, and now he's -- he's arrested or he's going to be.
Carly: I'm going to make us a couple of sandwiches, okay
Sonny: All right.
Sonny: No --
[Knock on door]
Sonny: I hate sandwiches. You know that all right. A.J.'s in custody?
Courtney: Are you okay?
A.J.: Yeah, I'm better than I should be. Uh -- we need to talk.
Courtney: I mean, at least not right now. Cooler heads and all.
A.J.: Please, sit down.
A.J.: The night that I ran into the Oasis and I told you to pack your bags and leave, I honestly thought you'd hit the -- hit their running and never look back. You didn't. You gave me another chance. Of course, I blew it. Courtney, I should have never asked you to leave in the first place. This is your place. You created it. And you almost turned me into something, too. I love you more than you will ever know. But I can't keep doing this.
Courtney: What are you saying?
A.J.: Iím leaving you. Tonight.
Mac:, it's your problem, not mine, Scott.
Scott: Yeah, well, maybe you steered me in the wrong direction, or maybe somebody might have tipped him off. Now, I wonder who would have done something like that.
Mac: Why don't you just save it, Baldwin. Really. I mean, this whole circus act thing doesn't fly with me. And you're a fraud.
Scott: Is that so?
Lucky: Well, you're so hot to grab my dad because you need to shift the focus from Rick Webber's murder. And you know what I think?
Scott: I don't care what you think. Hello?
Mac: Hey, it's Mac. [missing} on the outskirts of town off Highway 65 and Route 9.
Scott: I'll be right there.
Lucky: You succeed the cops on my old man. There's no way I'm going to let that go.
Laura: I love you.
Luke: We are gathered here, my sweetheart and me, all the people who live in our hearts, to pledge ourselves to each other. Maria worked so good for us the first time. I never saw it coming. Never believed that anything like would ever happen to me. I did believe any as beautiful or as gentle at the thought that you'd love me was incomprehensible. But you did. And through you were not only brave but you courageous, and are special. These all the ways that you love a throw away like me. Thank you. I love you more tomorrow than today. But I donít I think that's possible because at this time I love you more than I ever have. I, Luke, take my Laura, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part. That is my solemn vow.
Carly: Just give Jason a minute before you start interrogating him. Come on, sit, Jason. You want a drink?
Jason: No. No, thanks. Look, about A.J. --
Sonny: Can you hold that thought just for a second?
Carly: Hey, you know, Jason --
Carly: This is not a good time --
Sonny: What's up?
Carly: To tell Sonny that you helped A.J. in any way.
Sonny: I don't have a choice.
Carly: Yeah, you do.
Jason: He's going to hear about it anyway. He needs to hear it from me.
Carly: Okay, but he doesn't need to hear about it now, okay? Just don't say anything.
Sonny: I'll see you later.
Carly: Who's better at that than you?
Sonny: Better at what? What are you guys talking about?
Carly: Oh -- tunnels and bridges and, you know, the electric train kind we got --
Jason: I'll look at the train tomorrow. I just need to talk to Sonny right now.
Carly: Okay, fine. Tomorrow's good. Did I ask you if you wanted a drink?
Carly: Okay, I'm going to go to the hospital and pick up Michael's medical records for school.
Sonny: All right.
Carly: You two have a good old time talking about all your secret business stuff that I'm not supposed to hear. Bye.
Sonny: What the hell was that about?
Jason: Carly thinks it's the wrong time to tell you A.J.'s not going to jail.
Sonny: You mean tonight?
Jason: He won't be arrested for torching the Oasis. I made the arson charge go away.
A.J.: I will be back for the rest of my things when I know you're at Kelly's, okay?
Courtney: A.J., no.
A.J.: I don't blame you. Um -- if there's anything left behind, just toss it in the trash, okay?
Courtney: Hey. You had your say. Will you at least show me the courtesy of hearing me out?
Courtney: You messed up and I gave you another chance. That's what marriage is about. It's loving someone enough to hold on. Okay, so you made some mistakes, but you're not the only one, A.J. I mean, God, I started dancing for Coleman and I told you I was working at a bank. I was the coward, okay? I -- I couldn't risk you going to jail because I needed you here. I still need you here, A.J. I love you. I never stopped, not for one second. The question is, do you love me enough to give me another chance?
Alexis: The police are investigating Skye, and Alan has asked me to take this case. I didn't give him an answer yet because my relationship with Ned may constitute a conflict of interest which I may or may not be able to finesse. More importantly, I won't even consider taking this case if it makes you uncomfortable in any way.
Jax: So, what, is Skye really in trouble?
Alexis: Yes, she is.
Jax: You know, Skye lives in a prison of her own making, and it'd be redundant to lock her behind bars. But by all means, take the case. I mean, she needs the best. That would be you.
Alexis: You mind if I pry?
Jax: When has that mattered?
Alexis: That's a good point. You're still in love with her, aren't you?
Jax: Do you mind if we don't get into this right now? Sorry if I sound callous, but I really don't want to think about Skye right now.
Lucky: You hate my dad because Mom stayed with him. She left you in Greece to live with your scary father.
Nikolas: This isn't about childhood trauma. All right, I'm trying to find the truth here.
Lucky: Well, see, the truth -- I've already found the truth. Scott is trying to frame my father.
Nikolas: Then why would our mother call for help? Explain that to me.
Lucky: Why can't you accept the possibility that she might be confused? All those nightmares in the attic, all those premonitions or whatever it was -- something bad happened up there, okay? Now, I don't know how she did it, but somehow she repressed all that stuff. It goes on all the time. You know that. People do that. And when they remember, they can lose all grip on reality.
Laura: I, Laura, take thee, Luke, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, to -- to -- oh.
Laura: I can't remember the rest.
Luke: Oh, whatever you want.
Laura: I love your eyes. I love looking in them. I feel so, so safe inside there. You know, you're inside me. You're inside my heart, right at the center. And you always will be. I -- I forgot. I'm -- I'm supposed to make promises, I think. I forgot.
Luke: No, you -- you already made them.
Laura: I did?
Luke: They were beautiful.
Laura: Oh. Good. So now what do we do?
Luke: I now pronounce us husband and wife.
Laura: No. Uh -- something's wrong. Something's -- where's Rick?
Luke: We -- we don't need Rick. We can do this without --
Laura: No, I need him to be here. Where did he go? And Theresa. Where -- where did she go?
Luke: We don't need her, either.
Laura: Yes, I do. I need them to be here. It has to be just the way I planned it. It has to be. Rick? Rick!
Luke: No, sweetheart. Laura, Laura --
Luke: Look at me. All we need is each other.
Laura: No, it has to be the way I planned it! They have to be here! They -- they -- they have to be here! It's important! They have to be here!
Luke: But --
Laura: Maybe -- maybe they went in the garden. You think?
Laura: No. No! Make it stop!
Luke: There's nothing here, darling.
Laura: No, make it stop!
Luke: There's nothing here.
Laura: No! No. Oh, God, Rick's dead!
Luke: No, no. Rick isn't here. It's just you and me, sweetheart --
Luke: Just us. Just us.
Laura: Then -- then -- then it's not true? Rick's alive? It's okay? Please tell me.
Luke: Laura, no. Rick -- Rick is dead.
Laura: No! No! Don't say that!
Luke: I'm sorry.
Laura: No! No! Oh, no!
Luke: It's okay.
Laura: It can't be like that! It just can't be like that!
Laura: No. Look! He's there! He's on the floor!
Luke: No, there's nothing there, Laura.
Laura: But I saw him!
Luke: Laura, your mind is playing tricks on you. It's just you and me. Just us.
Laura: He tried to give me a shot.
Luke: That's right. You thought he was going to hurt you.
Laura: I hit him.
Luke: You had to make him stop.
Laura: I killed him, didn't I? I killed my father.
Luke: Listen to me. Listen. Look right here. See this? You focus on this. Just this. You took my hand and we escaped from Frank Smith and a hundred other enemies. We got away. And you took my hand when you gave birth to both our children, and they both turned out to be champs. Now, you take my hand right now, and we'll get through this. You and me -- we'll get through it. That's it. Just us. Just hold me. That's it. That's it, that's it. That's it. That's it.
A.J.: You're asking me to forgive you? For what? I have a better question. Why do you still love me?
Courtney: Because no one's ever given me a puppy before. And you put mustard on your tuna salad and -- A.J., when you hold me, I feel totally loved and safe and accepted and just right.
A.J.: I love you. I love you.
Courtney: Then stay with me, please.
A.J.: You have to promise me something.
A.J.: If there is ever any trouble, I'm the one you come to. No one else. Me.
Courtney: I swear.
Sonny: Are you -- are you standing here telling me that the maggot who married my sister who just messed with Michael's head, the sorry excuse for a human being who bought a decomposed corpse and passed it off as my wife, the drunk who Courtney stripped for to keep out of jail -- you just gave him a piece of your mind and sent him right back to my sister?
Sonny: I wanted A.J. gone, Jason!
Jason: Courtney asked me to help her.
Sonny: Courtney? What -- who's Courtney? What -- what was going on in your mind? It's unacceptable! Now, I'm going to try to understand, so maybe you can help me. Were you -- were you drunk? Asleep, in a trance? On crack? What?
Jason: I had to make a quick decision.
Sonny: You made a quick decision to go against me. Is that your excuse? You made a quick decision to help my enemy.
Jason: What -- what are you talking about? I didn't -- I didn't choose to go against you. I'm helping your sister. That's what you asked me to do, so that's what I did.
Sonny: Oh, so if my sister wanted to jump off of a skyscraper, you'd show her the elevator to the roof? If she wanted to do heroin, you'd help her put the needle in her arm?
Jason: She didn't want to shoot up. She wanted her husband home.
Sonny: And you think that's the right solution?
Jason: It's not mine to judge.
Sonny: Well, who's the judge?
Jason: Come on, Sonny. You know it's a mistake and a waste of time to lecture somebody on who they should love, especially after what Courtney just went through.
Sonny: Okay, you know what? Well, you got to understand to something. Your job is to follow my orders, not to decide whether they're right or wrong. This is not the first time this has happened. I told you to make Zander disappear. You offered him a deal I did not authorize, and you didn't bother to run it past me first! This has got to stop, man! If you can't or won't do the job like you used to, you got to say so.
Courtney: I knew it. You don't have to say anything. I -- you don't think I'm the woman that you married anymore. I took my clothes off for money. You're never going to be able to look at me the same.
Luke: Sweetheart? Laura?
Luke: Do you trust me?
Luke: Will you trust me to get us out of here and find a place where we'll be safe so we can figure out how to handle this?
Laura: Yeah, just tell me what to do. I -- you always save me. Please, Luke -- save me now, please.
Luke: I love you, angel.
Laura: I love you.
Luke: Okay. Don't -- don't look down. That's it. Just stay with me. Stay with me.
Laura: I want to stay with you.
Luke: Stay with me.
Laura: I want to stay with you.
Scott: It's over.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Elizabeth: Whoever is trying to kill you saw us at the hospital together. We need help.
Courtney: Why did you stop making love to me?
Sonny: Are you loyal to me or not?
Jason: There's nothing I haven't done for you. You question my loyalty?
Laura: Help me, Scotty.
Luke: Don't listen to him!
