Courtney: I'm the happiest I’ve ever been in my entire life.

Bobbie: Laura?

[Thunder]

Rick: Sweetheart -- Laura? Are you all right?

Luke: Scott and Rick are definitely hiding something. Let's hope this tells us what.

Alcazar: Now you're going after Jasper Jacks.

Jax: Someone's after Sonny. Someone with real power.

Alexis: You bring death wherever you go.

Sonny: Oh.

[Thunder]

Carly: Hey.

Sonny: You couldn't sleep, either?

Carly: I was sleeping like a baby till I snuggled over to your side of the bed and found it was empty.

[Thunder]

Sonny: Storm's getting worse. I should probably get you home.

Carly: Okay, if the cottage is home, where am I right now?

Sonny: Michael's going to be getting up and he's going to wonder where you are.

Carly: You're right. Okay, you know what? I'm going to pack up -- go home, pack up the cottage, and get Michael and bring him back right here with us where he belongs.

Sonny: No. No.

Roy: First you hit Corinthos' operation. Now you want me to go after Jax? Why?

Alcazar: What difference does it make?

Roy: I'm curious. What do Sonny and Jax have in common?

Courtney: Balloons, huh? Whose idea was that?

Wynona: Yeah, Coleman got inspired.

Courtney: Hmm. Cheaper than sequins, right?

Wynona: Yeah. Hey, you want to take some home for your birthday party?

Courtney: I don't need a party. Three more sets and I'm done. Thanks to you and the threat of unionized strippers --

[Cheers and applause]

Courtney: I get to spend my birthday with the love of my life. Okay.

A.J.: You are amazing.

Skye: Am I?

A.J.: Absolutely. I mean, you have managed to change the entire vibe of this place by just moving the dance floor over there, for instance.

Skye: Oh. Yeah.

A.J.: It's great.

Skye: You can stop buttering me up now.

A.J.: Would I do that?

Skye: In a heartbeat, if there was something that you wanted.

A.J.: Well, Skye, I no longer play the angles. My life is way too good as it is.

Skye: Hard work pays off, huh?

A.J.: That and a happy marriage.

Skye: Sounds blissful.

A.J.: However --

Skye: Okay --

A.J.: Speaking of wanting something --

Skye: Yeah, here it comes.

A.J.: No, no. It's not for me. It's for Courtney. It's her birthday today and I was hoping you would help me give her a surprise party.

Felicia: Roy, where are you? I've been waiting at Club 101 for almost an hour and I'm really worried about you. Please, would you just give me a call as soon as you get this message? Tell me what's going on.

Scott: Yeah, it's not everyday a beautiful redhead takes me out.

Bobbie: Oh, I guess you got lucky, didn't you?

Scott: Well, I hope I get lucky.

Bobbie: Oh.

Scott: So what's the occasion?

Bobbie: Well, just consider it a reward in advance.

Scott: Am I about to do something wonderful?

Bobbie: Well, you are escorting me to Luke and Laura's wedding tomorrow.

Scott: Yes. Yes, I am, and hopefully I'll enjoy myself now that they've let go of this nuttiness they think that went on up in the attic.

Bobbie: That was strange, wasn't it?

Scott: Well, "strange" is one way to look at it. It was a little more annoying to me.

Bobbie: Hey, hey, hey. That's my brother you're talking about.

Scott: I know, but don't you agree?

Bobbie: No comment.

Scott: Well, I'm just glad that Luke's let go of this obsessive-compulsive thing he's had about it.

Bobbie: Well, almost let go.

Scott: What do you mean, "almost"?

Luke: What the hell am I supposed to be looking at?

Lucky: This right here.

Luke: What is that, a hand?

Lucky: That's what it looks like to me. I could blow this up, if you like.

Luke: Yeah, do it. Whatever it takes. Just try to get a clear image.

Laura: Who are you?

Young Laura: Who do I look like?

Laura: Me. I'm hallucinating. This can't be happening.

Young Laura: You're remembering.

Laura: That skirt, that blouse -- I was wearing that that night.

Laura: What happened?

Young Laura: Do you want to remember?

Laura: No. Yes. I can't go on like this. I want to know.

Young Laura: Then you will. Tonight.

[Thunder]

Sonny: You and I are doing great, Carly.

Carly: Yeah, better than ever.

Sonny: Hmm, so is Michael. He's got two loving parents, a house with a yard. Why mess with a good thing?

Carly: You've been standing here obsessing over what Alexis said.

Sonny: Uh -- no, not really.

Carly: Sonny, she was grieving over her sister, her loss, and she's taking it out on everybody --

Sonny: This is not about Alexis. This is about the truth.

Carly: No, she wanted to upset you -- God, and she did. She knew exactly what to say. She played on your fears of your losses and your guilt, and she dangled your fears of our security right in front of your face.

Sonny: This is my reality -- I live a dangerous life. I chose it. I can protect my back because I spent my whole life learning how to survive.

[Thunder]

Sonny: But now I have you and Michael to protect.

Carly: Okay, so what are you going to do? You going to keep us in a cottage and then take us out when things are clear and then throw us right back in when things get sticky?

Sonny: If that's the way it has to work, that's the way it has to work.

Carly: No. No way. No.

Sonny: I am not risking my family.

Alcazar: What do Corinthos and Jasper Jacks have in common? You tell me.

Roy: Money.

Alcazar: Keep going.

Roy: I don't know Jax that well. I know he has no -- no product to poison. He has -- he has no warehouse you can blow up.

Alcazar: Oil reserves in northwestern Canada. Most of the Jacks' family fortune is invested there.

Roy: Trekking through the foreign wilderness is not my style.

Alcazar: The job is closer to home. You're going to break into Jax's safe for me, get the map of the oil reserves.

Roy: A two-bit safecracker can bust into the guy's safe, you know?

Alcazar: The work's beneath you? I'm so sorry. The things we do to keep the people around us safe.

[Thunder]

Waiter: Would you like to order?

Felicia: No, thanks. Oh, wait -- just a second. Yes, I think I would like to order. I think I'll have a glass of your finest champagne and a wonderful lobster salad.

Skye: Oh. A.J., Courtney's birthday dinner is on the house. You go to the chef. You get anything you want.

A.J.: Anything?

Skye: As long as it's lavish and over the top? Absolutely.

A.J.: Right on. Thank you.

Skye: Come on, I'll treat you to a club soda.

A.J.: Okay. Hey, Felicia.

Felicia: Hi.

Skye: I don't think I've ever seen you this happy, A.J. I mean, really. Must be that forklift, huh?

A.J.: Well, I --

Skye: Pretty satisfying?

A.J.: Go figure.

[Skye laughs]

A.J.: Truth is it's Courtney.

Skye: You're really in love.

A.J.: Yes, I am. How the hell did I get so lucky?

Skye: Oh, come on, A.J., your luck's been long overdue.

A.J.: Yours, too.

Skye: Me?

A.J.: With Jax.

Skye: Oh.

A.J.: Skye, I owe you a huge apology. I -- I was cynical.

Skye: Oh, come on, you weren't the only one.

A.J.: Well, that's what you did right, you know? You were smart enough not to listen to grandfather and the rest of us. You followed your heart.

Skye: Yep, that's me, true judge of character, brave at heart, willing to take risks.

[A.J. chuckles]

Scott: So your brother's still going on about the attic? I mean, what's he -- what's he talking about?

Bobbie: You know, Scott, I wouldn't have brought it up if I'd known you were going to overreact.

Scott: Hey, Bobbie, I'm not overreacting. It's your brother. I mean, he thinks there's some kind of a bogeyman up there in the attic.

Bobbie: You know something? I have absolutely had no information to pass on to Luke because you haven't told me anything. So, what is going on with you and Luke in the attic, huh? Why are you so obsessed?

Scott: It's your brother, man. He's like a dog with a -- Bobbie, listen. Listen, listen. Come on, let's not talk about -- I don't want you to get sucked into this. Let's -- let's have a good night here and talk about what we're going to do for the rest of the evening.

Bobbie: Okay. Okay. Let's look at the menu. Actually, I'm in the mood for dessert. And they have crème Brule.

Scott: Hello? What? Oh, come on, come on, you got to be kidding me. I'm in the middle of dinner. I'm not coming down there. Well, that's illegal. All right, I'll be right there. Good-bye.

Bobbie: Are you kidding?

Scott: I'm sorry, Bobbie. There's this crisis downtown.

Bobbie: Your cell phone didn't even ring!

Scott: I -- I put it on vibrate when I come into a restaurant. Listen -- listen, I -- I feel bad. You know, ever since I started this job, I'm busy. I haven't spent any time -- you know what? I'm going to take you out to anywhere you want to go, okay? And, in fact, I'm paying for dinner tonight, as well.

Bobbie: I thought I was taking you.

Scott: No, no, I got it. Here. Listen, I'll see you later, okay? I'm sorry.

Bobbie: Hmm.

Laura: I'm dreaming. I need to wake up.

Young Laura: You're waking up now. That's why you're here. You've been asleep too long.

Laura: Go away.

Young Laura: You don't want me to.

Laura: I'm going to leave the attic. I'm going on with my life. I'm going to forget what happened.

Young Laura: You were a part of it, Laura. They tried to make you forget, but it came back. It always will.

Laura: Leave me alone.

Young Laura: You're hearing my voice because you want to know.

Laura: I do know.

Young Laura: Do you?

Laura: I walked in and it was raining.

[Thunder]

Young Laura: What did you see?

[Woman moans]

Laura: I saw myself in the mirror. And I saw them on the couch, a man and a woman. They were struggling, fighting. It was Rick and that woman, Theresa.

[Thunder]

Laura: And then -- and then she grabbed the camera and she swung at Rick, and he stopped her and he dragged her out and down the stairs, and he went out into the garden and walked her out. And then he came back and he gave me a shot. Or maybe he gave me the shot before he left.

Young Laura: Why? Why did he give you the shot?

Laura: I was upset.

Young Laura: Why?

Laura: It was traumatic.

Young Laura: What was so traumatic that you had to be sedated? What was it? What was the trauma? The blood?

Laura: There was no blood!

Young Laura: Look at me. Look at my skirt.

Laura: There was no –

Luke: We got Scott Baldwin in a bloody shirt and somebody's hand.

Lucky: Mm-hmm. I'm not sure how much I can sharpen this up.

Luke: Well, get creative, cowboy. Try something you haven't tried. Don't you have any new technology or something?

Lucky: No, not yet. No, this is going to take some time.

Luke: How much?

Lucky: Well, it would really help me if you'd tell me what we were looking for.

Luke: Simple -- proof that Scott Baldwin killed Theresa Carter and Rick helped him cover it up.

Bobbie: Triple-chocolate mousse cake. Mmm, wow.

Felicia: Mm-hmm. I don't know why I bothered to order something like this when I could order something like that.

Bobbie: Mmm. You okay?

Felicia: I was going to ask you the same thing.

Bobbie: Oh, I intend to get better and better with every bite. So, Roy said he's on his way?

Felicia: Yeah, half an hour ago. If you want to change the subject, please feel free to do that. Actually, there are no men that are perfect, right?

Bobbie: No, that's for sure. I would know because I've done my share of testing.

Felicia: Me, too. Would you like to have a bite of mine?

Bobbie: No, thank you. Actually, I had dinner with Scott.

Felicia: Oh. That's right.

Roy: Good evening, ladies.

Felicia: Well. Good evening.

Roy: Hey.

Felicia: Is that all you have to say? I mean, shouldn't you say, "I'm sorry I'm almost two hours late."

Roy: Yes, I am sorry. It was inexcusable.

Felicia: Yes, it is.

Roy: But the reason -- for what it's worth, I have a really good reason --

Felicia: Thank you very much for this magical evening. The waiter will bring you the check.

Roy: No, no, no, no. The evening is not over yet.

Bobbie: That would be my cue to leave.

Roy: No -- it's --

Felicia: Mine, too.

Roy: Look -- hey.

Felicia: Excuse me.

Roy: No, please. Please? Not yet.

Skye: So, A.J., tell me, when -- when did you know that Courtney was -- was it?

A.J.: I realized that I was in love with Courtney the day I stood in the family living room and had to choose between her and Grandfather.

Skye: One of your better decisions.

A.J.: The best. I mean, on one hand there was Grandfather, whose approval I spent my entire life trying to earn, and on the other hand there was Courtney. No power, no money. Just a woman who -- who looked at me and saw --

Skye: A warm, smart, wonderful, lovable person.

A.J.: I never really thought of myself that way. And then suddenly it hit me, you know? I realized I could actually be that guy that -- that she saw. So that was it. I -- I picked Courtney.

Skye: And you just knew in that instant?

A.J.: Before that, I don't even know if I was in love. And maybe I would have never figured it out had I not been forced to choose. I might still be lying to Courtney -- and myself.

Skye: You told Courtney the truth? About how you used her in the beginning and then changed your mind and fell in love?

A.J.: No way.

Courtney: Two more sets and I'm out of here.

Wynona: Oh, honey, I hate to tell you this.

Courtney: What?

Wynona: A major problem just came up.

[Thunder]

Sonny: I promised I'd keep Michael safe.

Carly: But you have.

Sonny: "Safe" means away from me.

Carly: Sonny, you're wrong.

Sonny: An innocent woman died in my warehouse.

Carly: It was an accident.

Sonny: What if it'd been Michael instead of Kristina?

Carly: It wasn’t.

Sonny: Huh? My family's where I'm most vulnerable. My enemies know that.

Carly: Yes, and that is why you do everything you do to keep us safe.

Sonny: Yeah?

Carly: Yeah.

Sonny: Well, I tried to keep lily safe. Look how well that worked. Now it's Kristina. What if it'd been you walking into that warehouse? I can't protect you, not really. And I can't promise anybody that I love that they're going to be safe.

Carly: Okay. I see -- so it all -- it all adds up to a curse, just like Alexis said.

Sonny: If that's what you want to call it, you go ahead and call it that.

Carly: You know what a curse is, Sonny? You want to know what it is?

Sonny: What?

Carly: It is when somebody takes your deepest and your darkest fears and they turn that into a weapon that then you can use against yourself.

Sonny: She didn't make this stuff up. I can't -- you know what? I can't promise that I can keep anybody safe. That's the bottom line of this whole thing. And I don't want to lose you and Michael, too.

[Thunder]

Carly: Sonny -- I knew who you were when I decided to let you adopt Michael. I knew the life you led. I knew the dangers that you faced.

Sonny: I cannot take that risk.

Carly: And I knew how much you loved us, okay, and how you'd do anything for us, how you would walk through fire for us, how responsible you are.

Sonny: That's why I can't have you and Michael living under my roof.

Carly: Sonny, we are safest here with you.

Sonny: The danger is escalating! Do you understand that?

Carly: Don't you know that we are safest right here with you? You know that's true. Your enemies know who I am. They know who Michael is. What do you think, that we're going to be invisible if we live across town?

Sonny: Okay, if it gets worse, I'll send you and Michael out of the country.

Carly: This is where we need to be and you know it. Look, I've done some terrible things and I've messed up so much in my life. And somehow God blessed me with this beautiful little boy. Do you think that I would bring him home to you if I thought you were cursed? Sonny, I'm not stupid. I'm not deluded or naive. I just know that my son is safest right here with you.

Lucky: Why would Scott kill Theresa?

Luke: I don't know. There was a fight. She got nuts. He freaked.

Lucky: No, that's crazy.

Luke: Look, pal. Laura said there were two people in the garden in the middle of the night in the rain.

Lucky: Mm-hmm.

Luke: Now, you don't plant petunias in the rain, and you don't go look at the view in the middle of the night. But if you've got a fresh corpse, you try to get rid of it before people get wise.

[Thunder]

Young Laura: There was blood on your skirt. Whose blood was it?

Laura: I don't know.

Young Laura: You do know. Just think.

Laura: They were there on the couch. She had her hands around Rick's throat.

Young Laura: Theresa.

Laura: She was choking him. He was trying to push her away, but -- she heard me.

[Thunder]

Laura: She turned and she saw me. She's coming towards me.

[Thunder]

Laura: I want -- I want to run. I can’t. She's coming towards me! She's coming towards me!

Young Laura: What then?

Laura: Oh, God, no! Oh, no! No!

[Thunder]

Laura: She didn't leave. She -- she died. Here.

Felicia: I was really worried about you. My mind started spinning in all kinds of directions because I knew that if you were all right, you would call me.

Roy: Well, I did, and I would have earlier, but I wanted to get here.

Felicia: So I worried about you for no good reason?

Roy: Well -- would you rather have had a reason?

Felicia: I think a reason would be polite. You know I go to Texas tomorrow, don't you?

Roy: Yeah, I do. And, you know, I've been thinking about that. You know, going to Texas may not be such a bad idea after all. How long can you stay away?

Felicia: Very funny.

Roy: Thank you.

Felicia: Were you with Alcazar?

Roy: Yeah, I was.

Felicia: What's he want now?

A.J.: How can I look into the eyes of a person who loves me with all their heart and confess that I lied?

Skye: Well, she believes in you. I mean, maybe she'd understand.

A.J.: And say what, Skye, huh? "Oh, Courtney, I was faking when I first made love to you, and a few dozen times after that. But the good news is I'm not faking anymore, so you can trust me now." Come on.

Skye: I -- I see your point.

A.J.: I have wanted to tell her the truth so many times, just so she could see that I've changed, you know?

Skye: Come on, there's got to be a way.

A.J.: Not without breaking her heart. She trusted me and defended me when everyone around her was telling her she was a fool for wanting to be with me. Telling her the truth is like stabbing her in the heart.

Skye: What if she finds out by accident?

A.J.: She won’t.

Skye: But if she does, wouldn't it be better if she found out from you first?

A.J.: I love her, more than I thought I could ever love anyone. And that's the way I want us to stay, okay? And what do you think the chances are if she finds out that this whole thing started off as a trick, as a way for me to get my son back, huh?

Wynona: Brace yourself, kid. This may be a tough one.

All: Happy birthday!

[Cheers]

Courtney: Oh, you guys! Oh, my God! I can't believe you guys did all this for me.

Wynona: Yeah, well, make a wish.

Courtney: Oh, this cake looks almost too good to eat.

[All clamor]

Courtney: Okay, okay, okay. Let me think. Let me think.

[Cheers]

Coleman: Yeah. Whoo!

Wynona: And no birthday is complete without a present. Ladies?

Courtney: Thanks.

Wynona: Well, you're supposed to open it first. We all chipped in.

[Courtney gasps]

Courtney: It's beautiful. Oh, you guys, thanks.

Woman: You're welcome.

Coleman: You like that? Ladies, I have an announcement to make. Earlier today during a labor rebellion that some of you called a "negotiation," I was forced to cut back on Courtney’s schedule and give her time off tonight. But after a lot of thought, I've changed my mind.

Courtney: Wait, I -- I only have two more sets. You promised.

Coleman: Well, you know, I'm sorry, you're too popular. And besides, tonight's schedule has to be revised. So one more set and you're out of here.

Women: Ah.

Coleman: Happy Birthday.

Courtney: Thanks.

Woman: Happy Birthday.

Lucky: Oh-oh-oh.

Luke: What?

Lucky: Look at this. I think I'm getting something. Oh, yeah, look at that. It's a woman's hand. See? I was right.

Luke: Your eyes are better than mine. Can't you make it any clearer?

Lucky: You know, I could tighten it up with a high-resolution scanner. A friend of mine has got one of those. I could borrow it from him.

Luke: Do it.

Lucky: Yeah?

Luke: Yeah.

Lucky: Well, take this from me.

Luke: Okay.

Lucky: I'll be back as soon as I can.

Luke: All right.

Lucky: All right.

Laura: Oh, my God.

Young Laura: Who killed Theresa?

Laura: He didn't walk her out. He carried out her body. She was dead.

Young Laura: Who killed Theresa?

Laura: They were struggling, they were fighting -- Rick and Theresa. I saw the whole thing. I stood there watching. She almost strangled him, and I didn't know what to do. And then she saw me and she came towards me and she was angry. She -- her face was all twisted, and I wanted to scream and I couldn't. And then I wanted to run, but I was frozen. And then he came up behind her.

Young Laura: Who killed Theresa?

[Thunder]

Laura: He hit her.

Young Laura: Who?

Laura: It was Rick!

Rick: Laura?

[Thunder]

Rick: Who are you talking to?

Skye: So you're happy and in love. Aren't you afraid that's all about to vanish?

A.J.: Every day. But, hey -- fear can be a great thing, you know. I washed my hands of Grandfather because I was afraid of losing Courtney.

Skye: Cutting ties with Grandfather took a lot of bravery, A.J. Certainly more than I've got.

A.J.: Hey. Skye, you are one of the bravest people I know.

Skye: Not when it comes to love.

A.J.: You're engaged to Jax. Isn't that what you want?

Skye: How do I make it last?

A.J.: By believing it will.

Skye: See, that's the problem. You know, my whole life I've spent searching for love and happiness and acceptance, and then, I mean, this person comes along -- Jax comes along and gives me all of that. I mean, it's astonishing, you know? I am so in love with this person that I just -- I got to pinch myself to try to believe that it's real.

A.J.: I don't see a problem.

Skye: Things like that don't happen to people like me, A.J.

A.J.: I'm people like you, remember?

Skye: You've changed.

A.J.: So have you. You finally have someone in your life who sees only the good things.

Skye: Yeah, but what if the bad things catch up with me first?

A.J.: Ah. You see, now, that is the beauty of your situation. Jax has already seen you at your worst. There's nothing he can find out that he doesn't already know.

Felicia: Slowly.

Roy: Hey, hey, hey.

Felicia: Come on, tell me, tell me. Tell me.

Roy: Well -- things have gotten a little more complicated with Alcazar. Let's just say that.

Felicia: Why? Why? What happened?

Roy: I'd rather tell you the details when you get back.

Felicia: Roy --

Roy: There's no point in telling you that now, all right? It's just a good thing that you're going to Texas right now.

Felicia: Well, I'm just going to Texas for a vacation. It's not my life. I'm not going to make it permanent. But I'm going to come back to you. And unless you're going to keep standing me up at these dinners, you're not going to get rid of me that easily.

Roy: But getting rid of you is not the plan. That's the last thing I would ever want to do.

Michael: Mommy, we're home.

Carly: Yes, we are.

Michael: So how long are we going to get to stay this time?

Sonny: Well, like you said, you're home. That means you're staying.

Michael: Forever?

Sonny: Well, I mean, that's the plan, right? We're a family, so that means that we're going to start living like one.

Michael: If we're a real family, how come I don't get to call you daddy?

Sonny: Well, because -- you know what? I'm your father, right? And I'm going to always be your father. So that means you can get to call me whatever you like.

Michael: Except for Bozo, pumpkin head, and Bigfoot.

Sonny: Yeah, don't call me those, please. But anything else you want to call me, you can, okay?

Michael: I like "Daddy."

Sonny: Yeah, I like "Daddy," too.

Luke: Wait a minute. Wait a minute.

[Thunder]

Rick: Laura, what are you doing here in the attic again?

Laura: I couldn't sleep.

Rick: Sweetheart, you have to let this go. Your wedding is tomorrow. And if you keep bringing up the -- these bad memories that are in this attic, it's not good for anyone.

Laura: You killed her! You killed Theresa!

Rick: No.

Laura: Yes, you did. You hit her with the camera, and she died.

Rick: It's not what happened.

Laura: You can't lie to me anymore. I remembered it.

Rick: You didn't remember anything. And it's just best that it stays that way.

Laura: No, no -- no, you stay away from me. Don't you try to drug me. You can't make me forget this time by drugging me. I remembered. I won't forget this time.  You killed her and I saw you do it!

Announcer: Another round of applause for Daisy. It's her last dance for tonight.

[Cheers and applause]

Coleman: Hey, you enjoy the rest of your birthday, you hear me?

Courtney: Okay.

Coleman: Okay?

Taggert: Everybody, you're under arrest. PCPD. Let's go. Move it.

Coleman: What is this, man? You have no grounds to bust in here.

Taggert: Save it for the lawyers, all right?

Wynona: I don't believe this.

Taggert: Girls, you know the drill. Follow the nice gentlemen to van outside. Let's go. Move it.

Wynona: Come on.

Taggert: Hey!

Courtney: No, you go ahead.

Wynona: Oh, it's rotten timing on your birthday and all, huh? Hey, well, maybe they'll let us take the cake to jail.

Taggert: Okay. You know what? Don't mind if I do. Cheer up, ladies, you got the night off. Let's go. Come on. Outside.

Wynona: See you in the paddy wagon.

Coleman: We'll see about that. You're barking up the wrong tree, my man.

Mike: Hey, A.J.

A.J.: Hey, Mike. Listen, hey, thanks for coming.

Mike: Oh, sure. Listen, I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

A.J.: Yeah.

Mike: Courtney's going to be thrilled.

A.J.: Yes, she is, and having her father here to celebrate her birthday is like icing on the cake. You know what? She should be home any minute. I should pick her up.

Mike: Anything I can do?

A.J.: As a matter of fact, go to the bar; get yourself a drink, some hors d'oeuvres. Manager's giving us a great deal.

Mike: All right.

A.J.: All right?

Mike: All right.

A.J.: I'll see you in a minute.

Roy: You know, you obviously have a gift for managing a club.

Skye: Well, thank you.

Roy: You're welcome. Jax is still the owner, isn't he?

Skye: I do the work, and Jax does the approving.

Roy: Huh. I'm surprised he would take such an interest in the club, corporate raiding being the full-time work it is and all. Or is he mostly involved with family business these days?

Skye: Why the sudden interest in Jax?

Roy: Oh, I'm sorry. I thought -- I thought the whole town knew by now.

Skye: Knew what?

Roy: That Jax and I have a common enemy.

[Sonny imitates a train]

Carly: Well, who knew you were so good at making your choo-choo noises?

Sonny: Well, Michael asked me to. What do you want me to do?

Carly: Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah. You were having just as much fun as he was. Admit it now.

Sonny: All right. I'll tell you what I'm going to admit.

Carly: Hmm?

Sonny: It's -- it's nice having you and Michael home.

Carly: Okay, you can thank me now.

Sonny: Can I?

Carly: Mm-hmm -- for knowing you better than you know yourself.

Sonny: Well, I don't think I'd go that far, but --

Carly: Okay, and you can also thank me for giving you exactly what you need.

Sonny: Yeah?

Carly: Mm-hmm. And for being your soul mate.

Sonny: "Soul mate." That's nice.

Alcazar: I've eliminated most of the obstacles. Soon this will all be worth your while.

Lucky: Hey, Dad, I go—

Rick: She was killed, but not by me.

Laura: You killed Theresa, and then you got that other woman to lie to me about it and you have been lying about it all these years. It's over now. I know the truth. I know that you did it.

Rick: No, you don't know the truth, Laura. You don't know it.

Laura: I won't let you hurt me again!

Rick: I have never tried to hurt you, Laura.

[Laura gasps]

Rick: Laura, honey --

Laura: Stop it! Stop it!

Luke: Laura!

Laura: No!

Rick: Please, no.

Laura: No!

Luke: Laura!

Laura: No! No!

[Laura screams]

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

A.J.: Excuse me; I'd like to file a missing-persons report.

Mac: Someone has it in for you, Sonny -- who?

Jax: I hate Sonny.

Skye: Because of what he did to Brenda?

Bobbie: Have you heard from your father?

Lucky: Not since last night, no.
