>> Previously on "General Hospital" --
Luke: What did you try to hit Rick with?
Theresa: I grabbed whatever was heavy. And you jumped in and tried to protect him.
Lucky: Who is that?
Luke: Scott Baldwin. That's blood on his shirt.
Monica: She's not coming back.
Alexis: Someone tried to kill you. My sister lost her life instead. Why couldn't it ever be you?
Jason: If you didn't set the bomb, you know who did.
Lucky: You looking for something?
Laura: Oh, Luke. I can't believe we're actually going to get married tomorrow.
Luke: One last night to elope.
Laura: No, not a chance.
Luke: Are you sure? We could outrun all those ghosts of the past.
Laura: We already have.
Luke: You sure?
Laura: Yeah, now that I know what happened in the attic.
Luke: You're okay with everything?
Laura: I'm better than okay. I'm about to become Mrs. Luke Spencer for the second and the best time.
Scott: Ned, whoever did this is going to pay.
Ned: The district attorney always says that whenever an innocent person wanders into a mob war.
Scott: Well, this one means it.
Ned: If you'll excuse me.
Scott: Whatever it takes, Ned.
Monica: Oh, Ned --
Alan: Ned, I'm so sorry.
Ned: I appreciate everything you've done, Alan.
Alan: Skye. I didn't expect to see you.
Edward: She -- she really touched a lot of people.
Monica: Oh, Jax, I'm very sorry for your loss.
Jax: Thank you. You'll get through this, Ned.
Ned: I don't have much choice.
Skye: You know, I wasn't exactly one of Kristinaís favorite people.
Ned: Thank you for being here.
Jax: You know, Kristina would've loved this garden.
Ned: She'd think everything was in balance.
Skye: Not for long.
Ned: I don't believe it.
Sonny: No, no, we'll be fine.
Carly: But the last time Alexis saw you, she wished you dead. Don't you think that's reason enough not to be here?
Ned: I'd say so.
Jax: I don't think this is really the right place for you, Corinthos.
Ned: I'd really like you both to leave before Alexis gets here.
Sonny: Hey, Ned, I'm not comfortable being here, but Alexis invited me, so --
Jax: That is highly unlikely.
Ned: Even if it was true, that doesn't mean you have to come here.
Roy: Excuse me.
Roy: Has Alexis arrived yet?
Ned: What the hell is going on?
Elizabeth: I don't mean to be rude, but what are you doing here?
Jason: Alexis invited me.
Jason: I don't know.
Ned: Let me guess. Alexis invited you.
Nikolas: Get out, all of you.
Felicia: Let's not make a big scene.
Sonny: We came here to pay our respects.
Ned: Kristina's dead because you blew up his warehouse, and you torched his pier. Now, what part of that involves respect?
Sonny: I talked to Alexis. She called me.
Ned: Alexis is distraught. You know that, Sonny.
Nikolas: She's not thinking clearly.
Felicia: What if we all left now and made a huge donation to the hospital?
Roy: Actually, I think it'd be better if we stayed.
Jax: Hey, Corinthos, what would it take to get you out of here?
Sonny: What would it take? How about more than you got?
Alexis: Hi. I'm so glad to see all of you. Thank you for helping me commemorate my sister's murder.
Alexis: Hi. You look really handsome, by the way.
Ned: Are you all right?
Alexis: Yeah. I'm actually holding up really well.
Ned: Did you invite these guys?
Alexis: Yes, I did.
Ned: Well, please, let me uninvite them.
Alexis: And ruin my sister's funeral? Absolutely not. Excuse me.
Roy: So does she want us to stay?
Ned: Unfortunately, yes.
Felicia: Is there anything I can do?
Ned: Improve your taste in boyfriends.
Roy: I didn't set that bomb.
Ned: Even if it's true, you're still responsible.
Roy: Just trying to make things better on the waterfront.
Ned: By deliberately provoking Sonny Corinthos.
Roy: The pier was for sale, Ned. I bought it.
Ned: My family has been eyeing Pier 52 for years. Everyone knew Sonny wanted it. Everyone left it alone.
Roy: I had the right to develop that property.
Ned: The Quartermaines have been doing business on the waterfront while you were still wiping tables at the Campus disco.
Felicia: We're just a partnership doing business on the waterfront, that's it.
Ned: Well, then you better learn how to deal with Sonny. I don't like it, it's no fun, but it's how things are done down there. Unless, of course, you're a criminal.
Roy: I haven't done anything wrong, pal.
Ned: You're here now, aren't you?
Sonny: You think it's a setup?
Jason: I don't know. Be careful. I wouldn't put it past Baldwin to have a tape recorder in his pocket.
Sonny: I'll keep that in mind. Roy's crazy for showing up here.
Jason: Even if he didn't set the bomb, he knows who did.
Sonny: Roy's in so deep, he don't even know he's drowning.
Carly: Hey, um, sorry. Are you sure you want to stay with Scott here and everything?
Jason: Carly, do not say anything to him.
Sonny: Alexis invited me, Carly. I don't know what else I can do here, you know?
Carly: I was just asking. God, look at her over there.
Rick: I was looking for the tie that I wore to Laura's first wedding.
Rick: Yeah. I got too nostalgic. I think I started rummaging through the past.
Lucky: Hmm. Well, did you find it? The tie?
Rick: No. No. No, not at all. Not yet.
Lucky: Maybe it burned up in the fire like my little sister almost did. Hey, wasn't there a storm the night my mother caught you up here with one of your girlfriends?
Rick: Now, Laura is doing her best to forget that night, to forget that it ever happened. Excuse me.
Lucky: She almost did forget it.
Rick: I made the mistake, Lucky. Now, I'm the one that should be paying for it, not Laura, and I think that means that every one of us has to do everything we can to help her let it go.
Lucky: So that's why you came here, right? To help her let it go?
Rick: Anybody ever tell you that you are just like your father?
Lucky: Yeah. All the time, thanks.
Rick: You're welcome.
Lesley: Uh-oh, kissing alert. Smooching.
Bobbie: Are we interrupting?
Luke: We're --
Laura: I know, exactly.
Luke: Yeah, go away. Go away. Go away. Go away!
Laura: Oh, no, no. We've got the rest of our lives for that, don't we?
Luke: Yes, I guess we do.
Laura: But on the other hand, the rehearsal dinner --
Lesley: Aha, the one that starts in an hour and a half, yes.
Laura: Yeah, yeah. Elton boycotted it completely --
Luke: Oh, bully for Elton.
Laura: Because he didn't like the menu.
Bobbie: That's so Elton. You did remember to order the food?
Laura: I did, I did.
Lesley: See? There's a start right there.
Laura: I need a little help with the dessert.
Lesley: In the kitchen. I'm always in the kitchen.
[Laura and Lesley laugh]
Bobbie: Hmm. Ah, Luke. Laura looks so wonderful.
Luke: Yeah. Everything is good. I hope Baldwin doesn't mess it up.
Bobbie: Scott's coming over here right after Kristinaís memorial. You better get used to that.
Luke: He's hiding something, Bobbie.
Bobbie: Why do I know this is about the attic?
Luke: What did he tell you?
Alexis: I thought this would be a nice ahem -- to remember my sister because she loved flowers. In particular, she loved hydrangeas. And as you can see, there are a lot of hydrangeas here.
Alexis: Would someone like to speak?
Jax: Kristina spent years looking for Alexis. I'm glad that I was able to help, but I'm sure she would've found you with or without my assistance. That's the kind of person she was. She always went after the biggest, most improbable dreams. Kristina could be maddening at times. None of us ever had the vaguest idea what she was going to do next. But she loved her big sister. She admired you, Alexis. She wanted to be like you. Kristina lived life on her own terms. That's something we can all appreciate. And we should all be grateful that she was a part of our lives, if only for a little while.
Nikolas: Kristina never turned her back on being a Cassadine. Although we weren't very close, I do know that she wanted to end the hatred and the violence. It is ironic that she was taken from us by violence. She wandered into the wrong warehouse on the wrong night, and now she's gone.
Ned: The night I met Kristina, she called me a "suit." That was the last thing I wanted to hear. Not that it mattered because she was a young woman who was not afraid to speak her mind. From the moment she walked into my life and started moving furniture around, she made me see the world from a different angle. It was a world where she believed to live every day to its fullest, and she expected everyone to do the same. All she wanted was to share her life with her friends, her family, and with me. But that will never happen. And I will never, never forget why.
Alexis: My mother gave me this necklace, and my father gave it to her, and she had it made into two different necklaces. One she had made for me and one she had made for my sister, and I'm now wearing both of them. My sister and I were separated when I was very -- when I was very young, and I wasn't -- I didn't think that I would ever be able to find her -- in fact, I thought that it was impossible -- but she did. She doesn't think anything is impossible. It never occurred to her that she wouldn't find me, and she did because she is the eternal optimist -- was -- was the eternal optimist. She brought hope into my life where I tend to always have regret. She thought that we should create new memories instead of mourning the old ones because that's my sister. That's the kind of woman that she is -- was. That's -- I've made a conscious decision not to wear the color of my mourning today but instead to wear the color of my anger at the injustice of my sister's death and the rage that I feel for three of our invited guests -- Roy DiLucca, Jason Morgan, and Sonny Corinthos -- who happen to be wearing red, as well. And if you look closely, they have my sister's blood on their hands.
Luke: Did Baldwin say any more about the attic?
Bobbie: No, nothing. There's just been those strange things that Laura remembers.
Luke: Well, what does he remember?
Bobbie: Luke, what are you doing? Come on, look at her. She's so happy. Why are you doing this? Why don't you just let it go?
Luke: You're right.
Bobbie: Oh, that was way too quick.
Luke: No, no, you're right. I'm going to stop chasing ghosts.
Bobbie: It's the real people I'm worried about.
Luke: Me, too.
Lucky: Hey, Dad?
Luke: Hey, pal.
Lucky: Guess who I just saw up in the attic.
Lucky: Guess again.
Luke: Aha. And what was the good doctor doing up there?
Lucky: Looking for his tie that he wore to your first wedding?
Luke: Oh, brother, that's a lame one, isn't it?
Luke: In other words, he's covering his tracks.
Lucky: Pretty much.
Alexis: Thank you for bringing my sister to me and keeping her safe. It was a good deal more than I could do.
Alexis: I never got a chance to tell you how -- how I appreciated how hard you worked on her. I know you did everything that you could and I -- I will always appreciate that.
Monica: You're more than welcome.
Alexis: And, Edward, I know that you and I have had our differences, but my sister was very, very fond of you. And I think you were right -- she would've made a splendid Quartermaine.
Edward: There's no question about that.
Alexis: And you -- thank you for making her feel so welcome. You know, Nikolas, you have turned into a really nice boy. And I'm very proud of you and I just thought that we would have more time together, all of us.
Nikolas: So did I. I love you, Alexis.
Alexis: Hi, Roy.
Roy: Hey, Alexis.
Alexis: I mean, what can I say about Roy, really? Professional snitch, second-rate club owner. And I'm sorry, but you're a gangster wannabe. He just needs a little practice, is all, because in a matter of weeks, he staged a war with a dangerous man. He planted a bomb that went off and killed the wrong person -- although you did run in there for a daring rescue, which was a really nice touch, and I'm sure my sister would've really appreciated that -- had she lived. Jason. Where are you, Jason Morgan? There you are. Everybody -- baa, baa, black sheep don't expect him to sing. He barely speaks. He's the silent son who walked away from his family who still so desperately loves him. You know, I bought your routine, Jason, I did. I bought it for a long time, which is why I used my considerable legal skills to keep you out of prison so many times. But you want us all to believe that you do what you do to protect the poor and the unfortunate and the misunderstood, but in truth, you're a common thug who would do anything to protect his boss. You're a puppet, you're an errand boy, you're a shadow. You're nothing. And you think nothing of going after anyone who's weaker than you, less experienced than you. Caught off guard or, preferably, standing near the end of the dock in the dead of night. Jason Morgan -- professional, strictly taking orders from his boss, Sonny Corinthos. You must be so proud of your right-hand boy. He's almost like family, isn't he? And we all know what family means to you.
Carly: Okay, someone needs to stop this right now.
Ned: Be quiet.
Alexis: Thank you, Ned. Thank you. I'm afraid that we haven't made our Sonny very happy. But not to worry. No one ever has, but many have died trying. Do you think you're the only person who understands family? My family, the Cassadines, was staging deadly vendettas while your ancestors were working our fields with the other peasants. I could, in the honor of my family tradition, declare revenge on you. I could place a curse on you. I could vow to make you pay. But that would be redundant, and it certainly wouldn't be necessary at all because you are already cursed. You bring death wherever you go. No, seriously. I almost lost my life twice simply because I was just standing too close to him. But I survived, unlike your mother. Or Lily. Or her unborn child. Or Brenda. Or your unborn child. Carly, when you lie down next to him at night, don't you ever wonder if you're going to wake up? Because one day you wonít. Or you. Or you. You will all fall dead with honor at the feet of Sonny Corinthos, but guess what. He will never fall. That's his crowning achievement -- everybody dies around him yet he is the one that always lives! I mean, really! Isn't it amazing? Is it extraordinary? I mean, it's just unbelievable! It is so unbelievable that I feel compelled to give you a prize. So, here. Take it! You killed her, you've earned it. Put it on your mantel and remember what you've done and who's paid the price! Take it!
Alexis: Look what I've done.
Ned: Alexis -- Alexis --
Alexis: Oh! Look what I've done. I didn't mean to do it.
Ned: I know you didnít.
Alexis: I didn't mean to do it.
Ned: It's all right.
Alexis: I didn't mean to do it.
Ned: Here, let me do it. Let me do it.
Alexis: Oh! What have I done?
Ned: It's okay, it's okay. It's okay, it's okay.
Edward: Jax seems very nervous and distraught.
Skye: Well, he really cared about Kristina.
Edward: Now is your time to break into that safe and get me that oil site map. I demand nothing less from the sole Quartermaine heir, hmm?
Ned: Okay. Alexis said what she needed to say --
Sonny: Why didn't you stop her, Ned?
Ned: It's time for everyone to leave now, please.
Sonny: How could you let her get so upset, Ned?
Ned: It's time for everyone to go. Let's go!
Sonny: Why didn't you make her sit down? She's the mother of your child, you're the father, do what you got to do, Ned.
Ned: Well, maybe I'm not a very good one, but at least there's not a body count!
Rick: Lucky told you about my tie?
Lucky: Yeah. Yeah, it was a shame you couldn't find it.
Rick: I had this idea that the tie would be a special good omen for the wedding. It was worth a look, but -- silly, huh?
Laura: I have all the good omens I need for the wedding.
Bobbie: Hmm, isn't that perfect?
Laura: It sure is. So who wants to help me get dinner on the table?
Rick: Waiting for volunteers?
Rick: Okay, I will. Let's go. It smells good.
Bobbie: I will, too.
Luke: What'd you do with the camera?
Lucky: I still got it. If I would've left it up in the attic, I know he would've known something was off.
Luke: You done good.
Lucky: Hey. I had a good teacher.
Luke: So, what about the rest of the film?
Lucky: There was this one negative. I'm not sure if it's going to turn out, but I do have it in a special soup that I picked up in New York. It's a long shot, Dad.
Luke: Those are my favorite kind.
Lucky: Well, I'll see what I can do --
Lucky: As soon as I get out of here.
Luke: Well, maybe the picture will tell us what really happened that night in the attic.
Lucky: I hope so.
Nikolas: This service is over. If you'll respect my family's privacy, I have to ask you to leave now. We're finished.
Carly: Let's get out of here.
Ned: You're going to be okay.
Alexis: Some closing arguments, huh?
Ned: It was extraordinary.
Alexis: It was a moment of insanity and I apologize. It was unfair to you.
Ned: It was very effective, though.
Ned: You upset the right people. And I truly believe Kristina would've loved it.
Alexis: She was very beautiful.
Ned: Yes, she was. Look, Alexis, I really think that you can't allow yourself to get upset like this ever again. It's not good for the baby.
Alexis: Yeah. I know. I know. I'm going to get myself under control. I think the baby is actually safer now than it ever was because Sonny hates me now because I disrespected him in public. He won't bother us again.
Felicia: I'm worried about Alexis.
Roy: Yeah, me, too.
Felicia: She really believes you set off the bomb.
Sonny: Nice to see you, Roy.
Roy: What do you want?
Sonny: Jason will show you to your car.
Felicia: No, I'm -- I'm fine.
Sonny: Well, we have business we have to discuss.
Felicia: We're business partners. What you say to him, you can say to me, too.
Sonny: I need to know who your backer is, Roy.
Roy: I can't help you.
Sonny: I may be able to stop him. Alexis was right. Innocent people do get hurt in this business.
Felicia: I'm not afraid.
Sonny: So he's -- that means he's already threatened you.
Roy: Sonny, if I want you in on this, I'll let you know.
Sonny: You cannot stop him, Roy, I can. Anybody else dies, it's on your head.
Roy: Excuse us.
Sonny: Felicia? Can you at least do me one favor? Be careful.
Ned: Why don't you let me take you home?
Alexis: I just want to stay here for a couple of minutes.
Ned: I understand.
Alexis: She really loved you, Ned.
Ned: I know she did. I know.
Alexis: She would've really loved this baby. If I had told her the truth, she would've had the chance.
Ned: But we didnít. Now, listen -- don't stay out here too long because it's going to rain soon.
Lucky: All right, whose idea was the cheese fries with a side of indigestion, huh?
Luke: Well, we had so many left over. I had a big vat of them over there, so I just thought I'd --
Bobbie: Oh, stop, yeah.
Laura: And I decided on Ruby's chili.
Luke: Now, that was a great call.
Luke: Okay, time for a toast. Ladies and gentlemen -- and Scott -- here's to, first of all, Ruby -- we feel your love every day and we miss you.
Luke: Here's to my lovely mother-in-law. Thank you for all your hard work.
Lesley: Oh, thank you.
Luke: Rick, thank you for making the effort to be here. My beautiful sister, the finest friend and sister there is in the world. My kids -- enough said about them.
Luke: And my gorgeous wife, who makes my life worth living.
Laura: I love you.
Luke: Love you. Here's to all of us.
Nikolas: I guess I have a few words to say. Today I -- well, I said good-bye to a family member I -- I barely knew. I had the chance to get close, but I let that slip by, and I can assure you I won't let that happen again. I feel at home in this house, and for that, I -- I'm extremely welcome -- and grateful, I should say. So to all of you, I love you very much and I wish you the best.
Luke: Hear, hear.
Rick: The camera is not in the attic.
Scott: I know. I couldn't find it, either.
Rick: Then it's over.
Scott: Well, let's just hope so. Let's hope so.
Lesley: Okay, pal, you got just a few more minutes and then you have to haul it on out of here.
Luke: I live here.
Lesley: Not tonight, you donít. You don't get to see the bride until tomorrow.
Luke: Whose bright idea was that?
Laura: Oh, come on. It's just for one night. Just one night.
Lucky: I'll get him out of here.
Luke: Oh! God.
Lucky: Come on. Let's go.
Luke: Didn't your father teach you any manners?
Lucky: He should've, but my father didn't have any manners.
Laura: I love you.
Luke: I love you.
Laura: Bye. See you tomorrow.
Lesley Lu: To my mommy.
Bobbie hey -- oh --
Rick: Ugh, no, hey.
Lesley: Oh, sweetheart --
Rick: Oh, my goodness, you made a mess. Are you all right?
Lesley Lu: It won't come out.
Bobbie: We'll soak it up.
Lesley Lu: Mommy, look. I'm all sticky.
Lesley: Oh, it's okay, sweetheart. I can get this out. This is just punch. Come on, let's go in the kitchen. We'll get some water. You'll be okay. You know that.
Rick: Sweetheart -- Laura? Are you all right?
Laura: No. I think I'm going to go upstairs and lie down for a little while.
Scott: Laura --
Laura: Thank you. Thank you, everybody, for the wonderful dinner.
Scott: You're okay?
Laura: Yes, I'm great. Thanks. Good night.
Bobbie: Good night.
Scott: Laura seemed really upset.
Bobbie: Yeah. Yeah, she did. But, you know, she is getting married tomorrow, so let's give her a break.
Scott: I hope that's all it is.
Bobbie: Scott, will you ever stop trying to rescue Laura?
Alexis: It smells like rain.
Alexis: Maybe that's just what we need -- to wash everything clean and start all over again. I wish we could. Because I would tell you the truth from the moment I found out. But I canít. So I promise you that I will honor the secret that cost you your life. I love this baby beyond reason, as you loved me.
Alexis: Watch over us, Kristina. I will always be thinking of you.
Elizabeth: I've been looking for you. What Alexis said today has --
Jason: She's right. Innocent people get hurt around me and Sonny. And sometimes they die.
Elizabeth: I'm willing to take that risk.
Jason: I'm not. You're safer with Zander. He's out of this now. I never will be.
Elizabeth: Okay. But just for tonight, just for this moment, I don't want to be safe.
Sonny: I dropped you off at the cottage.
Carly: I had Johnny bring me back.
Sonny: You should not be here.
Carly: Why not?
Sonny: Because it's too dangerous.
Carly: You know -- Alexis is feeling guilty and she's taking it out on you. Honey, that's all it is.
Sonny: What -- okay, listen to me.
Sonny: What Alexis said was right.
Carly: No --
Sonny: We're not trying to --
Sonny: What do you mean, no? I don't want to -- I'm not going there.
Carly: No, that's right, you're not. Come on, sit down. Come here. Come on.
Sonny: Oh. Oh.
Carly: I love you. We need each other and I'm not letting you go there. Just wait.
Roy: I don't want more trouble with Corinthos.
Alcazar: There won't be. Now you're going after Jasper Jacks.
Skye: Looks like it's going to be some storm.
Skye: Ooh -- ooh. I'm so glad you're here safe with me.
Jax: You know, someone's after Sonny.
Skye: Don't even think about it.
Jax: Someone with real power. I always thought that would be me.
Skye: I'm glad it isnít.
Jax: Yeah, so am I. Sonny's finally going to pay.
Lucky: So what are you saying? You didn't show Mom that other picture?
Luke: No. Why upset her? Wreck the wedding? I'm not even certain that's blood on Baldwinís shirt.
Lucky: Yeah, but it's weird, though.
Luke: Yeah, it's weird. Scott and Rick are definitely hiding something. Let's hope this tells us what.
Luke: Oh, hell. It's just mush.
Lucky: No, wait a second. Look at that.
Young Laura: I knew you'd come back.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Wynona: A major problem just came up.
A.J.: I was hoping you would help me give her a surprise party.
Bobbie: What is going on with you and Luke in the attic?
Luke: What is that, a hand?
Laura: I'm hallucinating.
Sonny: I am not risking my family.
Roy: What do Sonny and Jax have in common?
