Felicia: He denies it, of course, but I think he's hiding something.

Roy: Don't you realize who you're dealing with?

Jax: She took $100,000 from the club's main account. It's obvious that Carly took the money.

Sarah: She and Zander are probably just off somewhere.

Jason: I need a list of all E.L.Q. properties, anything with a basement or storage facility.

Alexis: This warrant isn't worth the tree --

Taggert: You know what? Shut up!

Sonny: Don't tell her to shut up!

Kristina: Ned called! He said he's running late because of some family thing, but don't you worry, Alexis. Don't you worry -- he should be here in time to help us pack up that mysterious place you never visit that we humans like to call a kitchen.

[Kristina chuckles]

Kristina: What are you doing?

Alexis: Oh, I have work.

Kristina: Work? Alexis, we're moving to Manhattan. We're supposed to be packing.

Alexis: No, you're packing, not me, and I should be packing and I will pack, I promise. I just have one last thing I need to do for Sonny.

Carly: Ah, look at this place.

Sonny: It's a happening thing.

Carly: It's beautiful, too. And people really seem to have a good time here. Admit it -- I knew what I did when I was putting this place together.

Sonny: I'm not surprised.

Carly: Please. You were dumbfounded.

Sonny: No, not at all. I know now that, right, whatever you set your mind to, you will accomplish, one way or the other. Am I right?

Carly: Ah, you are. You're absolutely right.

Roy: Hey.

Felicia: Hi.

Roy: Hi.

Felicia: Oh. Oh, you look good. You look really good.

Roy: No, you, you -- you look really good.

Felicia: Well, thank you.

Roy: Yeah, you're welcome.

Felicia: I like your suit. Is it new? Did you buy it with your newfound money?

Roy: No, quiet as I keep it, in my past, I have been known to purchase the occasional article of clothing. Your message said to show up looking like I was trying, so I'm trying. You want to tell me why?

Felicia: I was thinking. If Sonny is the person who left the money in your apartment, he needs to see you spending it. He's here tonight. I think that we should party tonight like we've got a million bucks burning a hole in our pocket.

Roy: To what end?

Felicia: So we can see his reaction.

Roy: Felicia, I wasn't real crazy about your idea of questioning Sonny in the first place. And I'm thinking right now that maybe it's --

Felicia: I'm right. I'm right about this. Roy, you and I are real good. We're capable investigators. We know how to get information out of people, but you can't get information out of people that you suspect if you're not with them, right?

Carly: It means so much to me that you came here with me tonight. I know it's not exactly your favorite hang. And I also know that you've got a lot going on with Jason. Something's going on.

Sonny: The last thing I need is for anybody to think that I'm laying low or running scared. I need to enjoy my life, right?

Carly: Yeah.

Sonny: Last time I checked, that was you.

Carly: And don't you forget it.

Jason: What, are you nuts -- following me around like that?

Lucky: I needed to get your attention. So what are you going to do, Jason? Huh? You going to beat me senseless? You going to do it like you did Zander? Or are you just going to tell me where Elizabeth is?

Jason: I don't know.

Lucky: Hey, Jason, I'm serious, man. I've looked all over the place for her. I can't seem to find her. But then I thought of you -- her pal, right? The guy that listens to everything she needs to say? Did she run off with Zander? Is she in some kind of trouble? Hey, why don't you answer me, damn it!

Jason: Hey, I told you I don't know where she is, and if I did, it wouldn't be your business.

Lucky: You know something, don't you? Don't you?

Jason: I said back off.

Nikolas: You know what? Why don't you back off, Jason, unless you want to deal with the both of us.

Jason: Yeah, yeah, hold that thought. I got someplace to be.

Lucky: Oh, really? Does it have to do with Elizabeth?

Nikolas: Hey, hey, hey, let it go.

Gia: What was that about, Lucky?

Lucky: Elizabeth has disappeared. And I could bet my life that Jason knows something about it.

Alan: Give us a break, Father.

Monica: Or at least a clue.

Edward: Patience, patience. All will be revealed in time, hmm?

Alan: Well, that's exactly what I don't have. I'm overwhelmed with paperwork at the hospital because I spend all of my time trying to stop Rick Webber from taking over my life. Now, if you do have a reason, please say it.

Edward: Well, in the first place, we spend far too little time as a family, and family is what the dinner hour's all about -- you know, a regathering from our days out in the world, just reminiscing and sharing anecdotes over a civilized meal, huh?

Monica: Have you been drinking?

Lila: I think Edward has touched on a lovely idea.

Edward: Thank you, my dear. And as always, yours is the only opinion that matters -- other than my own, of course.

Ned: I'm intrigued by who you're considering family these days, Grandfather. I mean, I can't help but notice Skye -- hardly your favorite person.

Edward: But my grandchild, nevertheless.

Ned: Which means Jax --

Skye: Is here with me.

Alan: All right, Father. You said you had a couple of reasons. Let's try another one that we can actually buy.

Edward: Well, I have a very special gift for Lila, hmm?

[Doorbell rings]

Edward: If it -- hey! If it isn't too much trouble, get --

Reginald: Here you go.

Edward: How do we manage to find such insolent staff?

Lila: Reginald isn't staff, Edward. He's family.

Reginald: Thank you, Mrs. Quartermaine. Here you go.

Edward: Well, where is he? A.J. What the hell are you doing here?

Lucky: No. You know, I -- I know Elizabeth. She sticks to her routine. Something's wrong.

Nikolas: Hey, Lucky? Maybe Elizabeth got impulsive for a change and took off. You know, listen -- you know how she is when Jason's in town. She gets a little weird, right?

Lucky: Yeah, I know.

Gia: Well, maybe this doesn't have to be about Jason. I mean, she has been through a lot in this last year.

Lucky: What, meaning me?

Gia: Look, Lucky, I'm not pointing any fingers. I'm just saying that a few days at a relaxing spa is usually an appropriate response.

Lucky: No, no. You know, that's not her. That's not her. You know why? Because Zander's missing, too.

Nikolas: Okay, there you go. She let Zander stay at her place, didn't she? Maybe he took her away somewhere to say "thank you."

Lucky: You think she'd stoop that low to get back at me?

Gia: Why does everything Elizabeth does have to be about you?

Sarah: Gia's right. Don't blame yourself, Lucky.

Gia: No, I was going for something more along the lines of "get over yourself."

Lucky: Oh.

Sarah: Look, whether Lizzie is acting out for attention -- which, believe me, has been known to happen -- or she's fallen head over heels for Jason, Zander, or whoever, it's her call. You're not obligated to save Elizabeth from her own choices anymore.

Taggert: What's this?

Alexis: You're being officially served as a defendant in the civil harassment suit that I'm filing on behalf of my client, Michael Corinthos Jr.

Taggert: You're tripping. This case will never see the light of day.

Alexis: You have a documented history of unprofessional conduct toward my client --

[Taggert sighs]

Alexis: Bogus arrests, groundless searches -- the list goes on and on and on -- culminating with last night's home invasion with your troops with no probable cause. This lawsuit is serious, Taggert, and it will be time-consuming, and somewhere in the distant future when this case limps to some sort of conclusion, there you will be with your reputation as a professional officer of the law being tarnished. You may be lucky enough to keep your badge -- I don't know -- but I will see that you are busted to foot patrol, in which case I'm sure that you will give Sonny a ticket for jaywalking, but that will be the extent of your power.

Taggert: You're really doing this?

Alexis: I needed to come through on my threats at some point, Taggert, didn't I?

Taggert: You're not only doing this, you're enjoying it. I don't get you, Ms. Davis. You're tough, you're smart, and the word "principle" seems to be more than just a concept to you. So why do you fight so hard for this man who is a criminal, he's a liar, and he stands for everything that you claim you despise, huh? Is the rush of Sonny so powerful that you can't see it? Can you not see that you are playing fast and loose with the very law you have sworn to uphold? Or don't you just give a damn, huh!

Alexis: Someone will be in touch with you about the deposition. I would block out about a week of time. There's a lot of territory to cover.

Carly: Here.

Sonny: Where?

Carly: Here, right here. We were standing right here the night that my club opened when you told me that you were proud of me.

Sonny: Oh.

Carly: Then I got -- I got jostled into you and you caught me and then I wanted to kiss you so bad. And I thought that it would be one of the best nights of my entire life, but you know what? This one is much better. Want to know why?

Sonny: No. Tell me why.

Carly: Hmm, because of this. Come here.

Felicia: Okay. Let's go over and say "How do you do."

Roy: Let's have our drink first.

Felicia: Oh, but it's perfect timing.

Roy: He's busy right now.

Felicia: His guard is down.

Roy: But it won't be once he sees me coming.

Felicia: So what? Big deal -- so what.

Roy: So I -- just so you understand, this is not going to be pleasant, okay?

Felicia: Okay.

Roy: Go ahead.

Felicia: Hello.

Carly: Hey.

Felicia: Hi. How are you? I just wanted to come over and say hello. Your love just radiates across the room, doesn't it, Roy?

Roy: Yeah, it sure does.

Carly: Hey, Felicia, Roy. Welcome to my club.

Felicia: It's a wonderful club. I just wanted to come over here and tell you that.

Roy: Yeah, you did a great job with it, Carly.

Carly: Thanks.

Roy: Congratulations on getting back with your lady. I'm glad things worked out for you. I'm hoping we can let bygones be bygones.

Sonny: Carly came to you for help because she trusted you. And instead of being standup and steering her the right way, you encouraged her to make the most destructive choice possible. You knew she was scared, and you used that to your advantage, so don't come to me sticking out your hand ever thinking I'm going to shake it because there are no bygones. Expect it when you least expect it, Roy. I'll see you later.

Felicia: Okay. All right, all right, I see what you mean. That man is vindictive and scary and you know what? He hates you passionately.

Roy: Yeah.

Lila: Darlings, how lovely to see you.

A.J.: Oh, it's lovely to see you, too, Grandmother.

Courtney: Sorry to barge in. We just didn't expect to find the entire family in one room together.

Ned: Command performance. We're all awaiting some mysterious and momentous event.

A.J.: I guess our invitation got lost in the mail. All heirs disinherited need not apply.

Monica: A.J., this is Edward’s doing, but your father and I are very pleased to see you.

A.J.: Are you pleased to see my wife?

Jax: I am. How are you, Courtney?

Courtney: Hey, Jax.

A.J.: What's your business here, Jax?

Skye: What's your business here, A.J.? You know, you really don't have to do this -- put yourself through all this unless you enjoy masochism.

Monica: Who are you to advise my son to stay away from his --

Skye: I happen to care about his well-being. Who else in this room can say that?

Reginald: Jason's here.

Edward: Here's your surprise, Lila.

Jason: Hello, Grandmother. It's good to see you.

Lila: My darling. You look wonderful.

Jason: So do you.

Lila: Reginald, I'd like a moment alone with my grandson.

Reginald: Sure.

Reginald: I just want to officially welcome you back.

Jason: Thanks. You look good.

Reginald: Thanks.

Jason: So I hear Leticia’s taking good care of you.

Reginald: Yeah. Yeah, you could call it that. I'll -- I'll give you guys some privacy, all right?

Lila: Oh, it's so good to see you, my dear. But tell me -- did your grandfather blackmail you into coming here?

Jason: Yes, he did.

Lila: Oh. Oh, I apologize.

Jason: No, you don't have to.

Lila: It would mean a lot if you'd stay for a while, for Monica’s sake. She misses you terribly. And tell Edward I appreciate the gesture, but I will not be a party to blackmail. So, I shall go to bed. Reginald?

Jason: And don't think you've seen the last of me.

Lila: Oh, I hope not.

Ned: Jason.

Skye: Two visits from the golden child in less than 24 hours, Edward? I'm beginning to see a nasty pattern developing here and just when I'm beginning to trust you. Don't tell me you're thinking of double-crossing me when the ink on my contract is barely dry.

Edward: Oh, Skye, relax. You've got it made. All you have to do is do your part of the deal and you're my sole heir, hmm? So now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go spend some quality time with the prodigal thug.

Jax: What was that about?

Skye: Oh, you know -- Edward being Edward.

Jax: Did he upset you?

Skye: And why would he? You have promised me that you're going to take care of him and I trust you.

Jax: Good.

Skye: Think I've had enough family togetherness for one evening. Will you get me out of here?

Jax: I thought you'd never ask.

Skye: For those of you who care, Jax and I are leaving, and I would advise anyone who's fortunate enough not to live here to do the same thing.

Jax: Good night, everyone.

Ned: I'm out of here. Nice to see you, Jase.

Jason: You, too.

Edward: Where's Lila?

Jason: Oh, she said thanks for the gesture, but she's not going to be a party to blackmail, so she went to bed.

Alan: Who's being blackmailed?

A.J.: Oh, come on, Dad -- you can't be that naive, can you? I mean, why else would Jason voluntarily step foot in this house? And for a big Quartermaine happy meal, no less.

Monica: What have you done?

A.J.: He's looking for a list of E.L.Q. properties -- why, I don't know, but he tried to buy it off me this afternoon. My guess is he went straight to the source, and coming here tonight was Grandfather's price.

Alan: Is that true?

Jason: Edward has something I want and, yes, tonight I had to come here to get it.

Monica: How dare you!

Alan: That is unforgivable!

A.J.: Whoa! Hold on, hold on. Let me get something straight here -- you see, I am currently being investigated by the federal government, thanks to Grandfather. I was disinherited, tossed out on the street with my wife and no one cares. But Jason was cruelly forced to come spend a little quality time with the family, and this is totally unforgivable?

Gia: Sarah, I know you and Elizabeth are not the closest sisters in the world, but you guys are sisters, so I would think that you would be a little bit concerned of the fact that Elizabeth might be missing.

Sarah: Yeah, and I know that all of you somehow ended up thinking that Lizzie can do no wrong, but I grew up with her, okay? She is perfectly capable of pulling off a vanishing act to make everyone worry about her. It's not a criticism -- it's just a fact.

Nikolas: We should get going.

Gia: Yeah.

Nikolas: Okay?

Gia: Do you guys have any plans for tonight?

Sarah: Well, I don't know. I was thinking that if I came dressed up, I thought Lucky might take the hint.

Gia: Well, Nikolas and I are headed over to Carly's club to get my picture in all the columns tomorrow. Do you guys want to be my entourage?

Sarah: Yeah, I think so. You want to go?

Nikolas: Sure. It's fine by me. Yeah, that's --

Lucky: Okay, all right. We'll all go watch Gia act like a diva.

Gia: Oh, I don't have to act, baby. It's in my blood.

Nikolas: Okay. Let's go.

Alexis: Thank you for seeing me again. I feel like a complete hypochondriac.

Dr. Bonds: No. You're just pregnant.

Alexis: Well, I feel like an idiot coming in here for every stomach twinge.

Dr. Bonds: Oh, your pregnancy is proceeding normally. Was there any particular reason why you were concerned enough to come in?

Alexis: Stress -- there's a lot of things going on in my life right now. I told you I'm moving to my Manhattan, so I have the physical relocation and then all the stress of finishing up the old things and starting the new things, you know.

Dr. Bonds: I don't want to alarm you, Alexis, but I need to make something clear -- it's imperative that you reduce stress. Too much tension or overwork could endanger your pregnancy.

Alexis: Well, it's not like I have to spend the rest of my pregnancy with my feet up, right?

Dr. Bonds: Not yet, but I'm not ruling it out.

Alexis: Everything's normal, right?

Dr. Bonds: Yes, it is, so far. And I wouldn't be as cautionary if you were 21, but you're not and the risk factor is higher. You might seriously reconsider moving until after the baby's born.

Alexis: You know, that may be more stressful than going. I mean, staying here could be more stressful.

Dr. Bonds: Well, that decision, only you can make, but think it over carefully. Find the least stressful alternative and stick to it -- for your baby's sake.

Felicia: Here.

Roy: Oh, thanks.

Felicia: Now I don't know what to think as far as Sonny's concerned. It's really clear that he loathes you.

Roy: Well, thank you for driving that home.

Felicia: No, what I mean is I think -- I don't think that he would play mind games with you to set you up. He'd just take you to a back alley and shoot you.

Roy: Yeah.

Felicia: Hmm. Really, Roy, I think you should watch your back.

Roy: I'm not afraid of Sonny.

Felicia: That's either very brave of you or extremely reckless.

Roy: Which do you prefer?

Felicia: I've been known to tolerate both. Huh. Oh.

Roy: Oh.

Felicia: I know the theory never really resonated with you, but maybe you did do something right for somebody and they are paying you back.

Roy: So you keep suggesting it. That's not possible, Felicia.

Felicia: Why? Because you're not capable? Because you are capable. If Melissa’s brother were alive right now, he would say that you tried to help him.

Roy: You might say that, but so what?

Felicia: You just don't give yourself enough credit, Roy.

Skye: You know what? On -- on second thought, why don't we just go home? I'm really not in the mood for another altercation with the mob boss' loony wife.

Jax: No, I really need to speak to Carly.

Skye: You really seek that woman out. You know, that's something I will never quite understand.

Jax: Do me a favor -- you keep Sonny occupied and I promise I'll make it worth your while.

Skye: I hate him.

Jax: I know. Come on. What's up, guys?

Carly: Hey.

Skye: Hi. Sonny, do you think it's possible that I could have a word with you, please?

Sonny: As long as you don't keep me away from my wife too long.

Skye: Oh, I wouldn't dream of it.

Carly: Okay, what the hell business does Skye have with Sonny?

Jax: Oh, nothing. She's -- she's just decoying him as a courtesy to you.

Carly: Which means what?

Jax: Which means I don't think you want your husband to know that you embezzled $100,000 from the club.

Carly: Look, Jax, if there is a discrepancy in the books, then we need to go over it together.

Jax: I've already been over the books, Carly. I know that you took the money. But if you want to pretend that you didn't and run a big bluff, then I can get an accountant to conduct an audit. But that may have unfortunate consequences on your newfound happiness with Sonny.

Carly: Well, you think Sonny would really care if I stole money from you?

Jax: No, he probably wouldn't, actually. He'd probably applaud your ingenuity, but -- I think he would care why you need the money. It's probably something he wouldn't approve of. Something that he'd actually hate. Stop me when I get something wrong.

Skye: It's Emily. Jason really blames me for what happened to our little sister and the accident that I bitterly regret. Well, you know, I'd really like to make amends with Jason. Like it or not, he is my brother, and family does mean something to me, you know? And I would think that you would understand that.

Sonny: Why do you think any of this matters to me?

Skye: Well, I know that Jason listens to you. I was hoping that you could put in a good word for me.

Jax: Sonny looks like he's in a good mood. That's rare. Would you like me to go over there and spoil it for him?

Carly: Oh, come on. All right, all right, all right, Jax, okay.

Jax: Okay.

Carly: I took the money, okay, but it was only a loan. I have every -- every intention of paying it back.

Jax: Well, that won't be necessary.

Carly: What, are you saying I should just keep the money?

Jax: A small price to pay for a lesson well learned. As much as I enjoy you, Carly, I can't trust you. And I don't happen to be in love with you, so I won't make the same mistake over and over again, like Sonny -- giving you one more chance for one more betrayal.

Carly: Look, there's -- there's got to be some price that you're going to make me pay.

Jax: I want your resignation on my desk.

Carly: Like hell.

Kristina: Should be professionally --

Ned: Hello.

Alexis: Hey.

Kristina: Hey. There you are. I was worried about you.

Ned: Business go okay?

Alexis: Yeah, it was good. I'm hungry. Anyone else hungry?

Kristina: Oh, good, good. I figured you would be, so I ordered carryout. I was actually just about to go pick it up.

Alexis: Thank you.

Kristina: Yeah. Oh, and keep -- keep packing, you two.

Alexis: Yeah.

Kristina: Or else we're never going to get all this done.

Ned: Okay, no problem. Actually, we're not packing. You're sitting down. Come on. Sit.

Alexis: Why do you keep treating me like I'm infirmed? I'm only pregnant. What does that mean exactly -- "only pregnant"? Is that like a little pregnant and a little nuts? Or --

Ned: A whole lot tired. Sit down. Okay. Now, can you explain to me what you were thinking, running out of here to do Sonny's bidding? I mean, you can't possibly think you owe him anything at this point.

Alexis: A going-away present? How about guilt for not telling him that he's the father? In any case, I served -- I filed a suit against the PCPD on his behalf, and I served Taggert personally. That was for my behalf.

Ned: So, did you get what you wanted?

Alexis: For one brief, shining moment. Then apparently, I was so transparent that even Taggert could see through me. And he was very perceptive. The truth is, is that I shouldn't have enjoyed working for Sonny at all, but I did. Maybe it was so that I could dazzle myself with my own brilliance in being able to defend the indefensible. Or simply the vicarious power of a dangerous man who is guilty and always getting away with it. But it was a thrill. I'm going to miss it.

Edward: No one asked you here tonight, A.J. In fact, you were pointedly not invited. So why don't you take your tiresome inferiority complex and your child bride and leave, all right?

Monica: I'm warning you, Edward -- I won't have you talking to A.J. that way. This is my house. He is welcome here anytime he wants to.

A.J.: Don't defend me, Mother. That's not how you really feel. Grandfather's despicable, but at least in his own way he's honest. Doesn't swear to love me and then stab me in the back.

Alan: If you're referring to the fact that your mother and I have taken a stand against your rampant self-destruction, that's tough love. It's a concept you should understand, considering you'd convinced this family to practice it on me.

A.J.: And you hated it. Is this why you're all turning on me? Huh? Is this why you're trying to pay me back? Tell me something -- what is so self-destructive about falling in love and getting married? Hmm? I mean, how does that stack up to killing people? Or don't you people read the paper? Don't you realize that Jason was detained by the police yet again? That's right, your golden boy is a suspect in another shooting.

Alan: We don't know what actually happened. The media has a habit of writing terrible stories about your brother.

A.J.: I mean, this guy shoots people, and you make excuses! All of you! Well, Jase, I guess that's the secret, right, man? Hmm? Unbelievable. Well, you know what? At least now, you'll all be happy to know that I have finally stepped into the right direction.

Monica: Wait, A.J., where did you get that?

A.J.: Stole it. Yeah, that's right. I was so desperate, I snuck into the house like a common criminal. Now, granted, it doesn't quite measure up to a contract killer, but I'm new at this. So tell me, how does vandalism rate, huh?

[Monica gasps]

Jax: You'll still get your share of the profits. All you're really losing is your position and your salary as club manager.

Carly: Well, excuse me if I disagree, but I would be losing control of my dream.

Jax: This partnership was built on false pretenses, okay? You said originally that you wanted to get away from Sonny. Now, that hasn't been the case. And believe me, it was never my intention to be in business with Mrs. Sonny Corinthos.

Sonny: You know what? It was nice chatting with you and all, but there's no point. Okay, we're done here.

Skye: I hate that man more than God hates sin, so you'd better have a very good explanation why I was manipulated into spending one single moment with him.

Jax: Because you are resourceful and cooperative and about to be duly rewarded.

Felicia: The way I see it, there's only one thing to do.

Roy: And what's that?

Felicia: We go full speed on sending the money. The sooner, the better. And if the person who gave you the money turns out to be an enemy, it'll flush them out. If the person turns out to be a friend, they'll know that we received the money and have accepted it.

Roy: That's a great idea.

Felicia: Yeah?

Roy: But I got a better one.

Lucky: It's too bad Gia's so shy and withdrawn, huh?

Sarah: Right -- it's not like she's enjoying this or anything.

Lucky: Yeah.

Gia: I want you all to know Lucky Spencer. He's the man who makes me look good. It's about time Lucky got his picture in the paper, too.

Sonny: What did candy boy do to you?

Carly: Jax? Nothing. He just, you know irritates me sometimes.

Sonny: Well, you're not going to get any argument there, but I -- you know what? You -- your eyes were like Christmas before, all lit up and stuff. Now you're all sad. What's going on?

Carly: No, no, not sad, not sad. Melancholy, maybe, when I think about what this place used to mean to me.

Sonny: What do you mean, used to?

Carly: I used to make this club the center of my life, you know? But it was just to fill the void that you left. And tonight, I -- I realized this was just a building. You know? You and our lives together, that's -- that's everything. I want to go home with you.

Sonny: Well, you don't have to ask me twice. Come on. Yeah.

Sonny: Do you want to -- you change your mind? You want to stay? You want to go? What are you doing?

Carly: No, no. No, I want to be with you.

Sonny: All right. Come on.

Alexis: I don't think that I should move to Manhattan.

Ned: Where did that come from?

Alexis: Dr. Bonds -- I went to see Dr. Bonds, and she warned me adamantly about not taking on too much stress. And moving and a new job is very stressful. She asked me to reconsider it, and I -- I think for the baby's sake, I should stay here. Not here -- not in this penthouse, but in Port Charles.

Ned: Well, what happens when Sonny finds out that you're pregnant?

Alexis: I don't know. I don't know! That's where my brain gets stuck and my stress level rises, which is exactly what I'm trying to avoid. The important thing -- the only thing -- is what's best for this baby.

Courtney: A.J., please, maybe we should just leave.

A.J.: No, no, no -- sweetie, come on, this is my family. This is my mother's home. She said I'm welcome anytime. Isn't that right, Mom, hmm? And I don't want to leave until I'm ready -- until I can show everyone here that I can measure up to the man. I mean, they love him so much. They love criminals and violence. I can do this. I can do that. I really can, see? Look.

Monica: A.J.! No!

Alan: Stop that this minute!

Edward: You listen to me or your parents, and I will have you arrested!

A.J.: Best idea I've heard all day. I'll even be more like Jason. Please call the police.

Courtney: A.J., please -- will you leave him alone?

Jason: You smashed some things, you hurt your parents, you scared your wife -- that's nice, but I'm in a hurry, and you're wasting my time. I want what I came for.

Edward: We have an agreement. We have dinner, and you get your list, all right?

Courtney: We should never have come here. Come on, A.J., let's just go.

A.J.: Oh, no, no, not without a toast, sweetie.

Alan: A.J., don't do this.

A.J.: All right, come on, Dad, I'm just taking a page out of my brother's book, that's all. I mean, the way to your hearts is obviously to do whatever you damn well please, and I've wanted this drink for so long. So, I'd like to make a toast to my -- no. You know what? To my baby brother.

Courtney: Don't you get it? God, you are not hurting them, you are hurting yourself -- and me. A.J., come on. If you really love me, just leave with me right now.

A.J.: Let's go. Whoa. You know what? I'll be damned if we're taking the bus. You can call the police if you want.

Monica: A.J. -- A.J., don't. I beg you. One more D.U.I., and you go to prison.

Alan: Courtney, for God's sake, don't go with him.

Courtney: I hate to say this, but I agree with your parents. You shouldn't -- you shouldn't drive after you've been drinking. I couldn't deal with you going to prison.

A.J.: Sweetie, I'm not drunk. I did a shot. Is that a problem? I promise. You with me or not?

Jason: Look, I'm sorry that A.J. is A.J. I hope you're all right, but I have to leave.

Monica: I understand that, and as absurd as this will sound, thank you for coming by.

Edward: Oh, no, no, no -- dinner, then dessert, then you get your list. Hey, wait a minute! Stop that!

Alan: Congratulations, Father. Another wonderful evening.

Jax: So you having fun?

Skye: Well, I'd be enjoying myself more if you told me what that reward is you're dangling in front of me.

Jax: Well -- take a look around.

Skye: So?

Jax: Well, this is it.

Skye: Uh -- I'm not following.

Jax: Carly resigned her position as club manager, so the spot's open.

Skye: Wait a minute. Let me get this straight. I've been shut out of my family's world-class conglomerate so I can keep myself busy running a nightclub?

Jax: Well, think of it as keeping your instincts sharp until I deliver E.L.Q. back into your hands.

Skye: I will give your offer all of its due consideration.

Roy: I think we should take a page out of Jax's book and invest the money in something that'll -- that'll make money. A million dollars could buy a business. Play that kind of money right, it can put you in the big leagues.

Felicia: Okay, yeah, yeah -- I can live rich for a while.

Roy: Well, don't make me twist your arm behind your back. I mean, you know, seriously, Felicia, we should make a deal here to be smart. Let's start tomorrow. We'll start looking for investment opportunities.

Felicia: Okay. But I'm warning you, from what I've seen, wealth isn't everything it's cracked up to be.

Roy: Well, we'll get to be the judges of that.

Felicia: Is that a toast?

Roy: It's a toast.

Felicia: A toast.

[Felicia laughs]

Carly: Oh, Alexis isn't wasting any time. It's just as well. A clean break is best.

Sonny: Hey. Packing?

Alexis: Actually, it's just the other way around.

Carly: I'm sorry?

Alexis: I'm staying here a little longer until I find a place to live in Port Charles.

Carly: What about Manhattan?

Alexis: I'm not going. I'm staying in Port Charles. It's where my family is. It's where my life is.

Sonny: I'm glad you're staying.

Alexis: That still doesn't change our professional situation. I will no longer be acting as your attorney. I wrapped some things up for you at the PCPD tonight, and that concludes my work on your behalf.

Sonny: I'll wait for your bill and I'll -- I'll pay it in full.

Alexis: You've always been very good at that. Okay, good night.

Carly: She should have left.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Jax: I have a job for you.

Alexis: Good, I'm looking for work.

Jax: Yeah, I need you to go after Carly.

Carly: I quit.

Sonny: What do you mean?

Taggert: Lucky Spencer reported Elizabeth missing just a while ago. I don't want to find her dead just because of you.
