Maxie: I'm a woman and ready to act like one.

Jason: I'm giving you the new rules. Now, you can live or die by them. That's your choice.

Bobbie: Where have you been?

Carly: I don't know. You know what else I remember, Sonny? I remember seeing you and Alexis naked in bed.

Alan: We have to stop enabling A.J.

Monica: Yes, I agree.

Alan: He's got to leave the house.

Monica: Oh, I -- come on, Alan. I think that's a little extreme.

Alan: What other options do we have?

Monica: I don't know. I just don't want to throw A.J. and Courtney out.

Edward: Don't let Alan talk you into it, Monica. A.J. is still our best chance to get that little boy under this roof.

Alan: Is that all you ever think about?

Edward: Michael is the Quartermaine’s family's hope for the future.

Monica: I suppose it's completely beyond you, Edward, to just care about A.J. himself.

Edward: Of course I care about A.J., but listen -- having that little boy under this roof would do wonders for A.J.

Alan: Oh, and that justifies A.J.'s lies and manipulation?

Edward: A.J. is showing some backbone. Is that so terrible, you two?

Monica: You know, if Edward’s pearls of wisdoms are the only thing that A.J. hears, maybe my son should leave for his own good.

Edward: Oh, come on.

Courtney: Good morning.

Edward: Oh.

Alan: Ah, there you are.

Monica: Hi.

A.J.: Well, just in time to hear your plans for tossing us out.

Monica: No, no -- A.J., come on, now, nothing is definite.

A.J.: Well, you may not have to worry about me being around much longer, anyway.

Monica: Why?

A.J.: Jason's back. First thing he did was threaten to kill me.

Sarah: Isn't that Emily’s brother Jason? Lizzie, he's staring at you.

Elizabeth: Just a second. I'll -- I'll be right back.

Sarah: All right.

Elizabeth: Jason. When did you get back?

Jason: Last night.

Elizabeth: Oh. It's good to see you.

Jason: It's good to see you. So how are you?

Elizabeth: I'm okay.

Jason: No, you're not.

Elizabeth: That's right, I forgot -- I don't have to cover with you.

Jason: No, look, you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to.

Elizabeth: No, it's -- well, basically, my life is -- it's been all over the place since you left. I'll save you the details for another time. But the short version is Lucky and I aren't together anymore.

Lucky: All right. So, I got the shots that I want. Now I just got to follow up with a few backups. Different angles, you know? Sometimes when I get in the darkroom, I find that my backup shots are better than my original.

Maxie: Yeah. I can see that.

Lucky: All right. Well, I think that just about wraps it up. You know, here -- some film. Can you put it in that bag for me, please?

Maxie: Sure.

Lucky: Thanks.

Maxie: You're a great teacher, Lucky.

Lucky: Thank you.

Maxie: I wish my math teacher was half as interesting. He's always saying math is the magic of the universe. My final's tomorrow and I just know I'm going to flunk it, which would be a disaster, because then I'll get stuck in summer school, and my life will be over until September.

Lucky: Ooh, summer school. Well, you know, math came easy to me. I could show you a few things, give you a few tips.

Maxie: Yeah? That would be incredible.

Lucky: Okay. Well, how about I -- I show up at your house tonight?

Maxie: Great. Wait -- I don't know -- Georgie has some friends coming over. The last time they were there, they ran around the house screaming at the top of their lungs.

[Lucky laughs]

Maxie: I couldn't even hear myself think.

Lucky: Okay. Well, I guess you can come over to my place. How about 7:00?

Maxie: Really?

Lucky: Yeah. Just put yourself into my hands and the magic of the universe will open up to you.

Clerk: Have you seen the big display in the baby aisle? We have a special on home pregnancy tests this week.

Alexis: That's okay. Thank you, I'm fine.

Clerk: Oh.

Bobbie: Alexis.

Sonny: When did this come back to you?

Carly: I've had bits and pieces of it in my mind, but I thought it was a dream. Going to your penthouse, finding the door unlocked, and -- thinking something happened to you. I was bringing you Michael’s birthday card. I walked up those stairs thinking that you were injured or worse. And I catch a reflection in the mirror of you and Alexis in bed. God, trust me, I did not look long.

Sonny: Carly, it was --

Carly: What? What? It was a dream? Are you going to try and convince me that it was a dream?

Sonny: No! No. What you saw -- it was -- it was real.

Carly: Well, it's not like I didn't already know the answer. It's just different hearing it come out of your mouth.

Sonny: I didn't want you to be hurt. I --

Carly: What did you expect, huh? What was I supposed to do, congratulate Alexis on her -- her brilliant stalking techniques?

Sonny: We were apart for a long time.

Carly: Yeah, you know, we were divorced. We were divorced, so we were free and clear to move on with our lives. But I guess some things just aren't that cut-and-dry for me, Sonny, as they are for you. Because when I promise to love someone for the rest of my life, I cannot just turn it off like a faucet!

Sonny: You're jumping to conclusions, Carly --

Carly: No -- you know what? I -- no! Because when I woke up in the hospital room and you were there beside my bed, you kept asking me what I remembered. Did you and Alexis -- did you know that I was there? Was it some little show for my benefit?

Sonny: I would never hurt you like that. You know that --

Carly: Well, you know what? You did, Sonny.

Sonny: I didn't know you were in the penthouse until I -- I found Michael’s birthday card.

Carly: Well, that must have been a shock for you, huh? But there's still no way you would have known I was up in your room, huh?

Sonny: Zander told me everything -- how you went to his room, and you were coming on to him, and the whole thing, right --

Carly: Right, and then suddenly, you must have felt relieved because Carly the tramp, she strikes again. Now suddenly, you have nothing to feel sorry for.

Sonny: You wanted to pay me back.

Carly: Yeah, you are damn right I did. You know, the party's over. You can just drop the phony concerned act because I'm not going to mistake your kindness for anything else.

Sonny: Carly, of course I'm concerned. You almost died, you were in the hospital. What do you want --

Carly: Yeah, you know what? And I am back now! I am back, and nothing is different!

Sonny: A lot is different! After the night we spent together, we --

Carly: Don't -- don't! Do not bring up sleeping with me and Alexis in the same conversation because it makes me sick! Ms. High-and-Mighty, she finally got what she wanted so desperately.

Carly: Best of luck to both of you.

Sonny: No, no, no, no.

Carly: Oh, that's great.

Sonny: We're not leaving it like this.

Alexis: Hi.

Bobbie: Hi. You all right? You look --

Alexis: Surprised. I'm -- you know, to see you here. It's out of context. Because I've been to this pharmacy so many times and I've never run into anyone that I know, ever.

Bobbie: Oh, well, you know what? I was at the nursery down the street and I was buying some flowers, and I suddenly remembered that I'm completely out of shampoo, so -- you know what aisle it's in?

Alexis: I do. I mean, I'm not sure. I think it's in the far --

Bobbie: Oh, look -- it's --

Alexis: Oh.

Bobbie: It's right there.

Alexis: What do you know? Um, you know, it's good, because I was going to go down there and -- over there and look at the shampoo, and now I don't have to because it's right here. And -- don't you ever wonder what shampoo to pick? I mean, there's so many to choose from and, you know, the ingredients -- what is this, fresnia frec -- what is that? Sounds like a car wax. How do you tell the difference?

Bobbie: They don't have my brand. Well --

Alexis: You know, they have a lot of specials, I think, down there, if you want to check it out.

Bobbie: You okay?

Alexis: I'm good.

Bobbie: You don't look it.

Alexis: I feel good.

Bobbie: Alexis, really, what's wrong?

Alexis: I didn't have breakfast. I -- I'm sure I just have that look of hunger about me.

Bobbie: No -- no, no, no. I -- I don't think so. And it makes perfect sense why you wouldn't want to tell Carly’s mother.

Elizabeth: So everything that you said about Lucky -- it true. I just wished I had believed you.

Jason: Well, you loved him.

Elizabeth: Yeah. You warned me that I couldn't be myself with him, and, you know, you're absolutely right.

Jason: So you ended it?

Elizabeth: Mm-hmm. Yeah, I, like, realized that I had dragged it out a lot longer than I should have. But it's over now. I mean, it's -- it's done with, and I'm ready to find the real Elizabeth. Maybe I should have taken you up on your offer to ride away with you.

Jason: You're better off. I mean, without -- without Lucky.

Elizabeth: Yeah, well, most people would disagree. But then again, most people had other agendas, like his family. You know, as much as I love the Spencers, they just wanted me and Lucky together, and I just think that's part of the reason why I stuck it out so long. You know, I was doing what everyone expected of me. I tend to go on when I'm with you, remember?

Jason: It's okay.

Elizabeth: I'm glad that you're back. I could use a friend right now.

Jason: I'm always your friend.

Elizabeth: So you didn't say why you're back. Does this mean you're doing a job for Sonny?

Alan: Where did you see Jason?

A.J.: The pier. He walked out of the shadows. Growled a few syllables that added up to a death threat.

Monica: And when did he get back?

Alan: He's probably here because of what happened to Carly.

A.J.: Did you not hear what I just said? Jason threatened my life.

Alan: You're overreacting. He's probably just here because of business with Sonny.

Edward: Well, he certainly doesn't listen to anyone else. I wonder if he'll lower himself to come and visit the family.

Alan: Sure he will. He always comes to visit his grandmother.

Courtney: Stop it. God, don't you people see what you're doing to the son that you've had here all along?

Courtney: A.J. just told you his brother threatened to kill him, and you guys are acting like it's okay.

Monica: Well, I think that A.J. was exaggerating.

A.J.: Courtney, it's an old pattern. The prodigal son returns, the problematic son gets swept under the carpet. It's okay. I'm used to it.

Courtney: It's not fair.

Monica: A.J. and Jason have always had their differences, and right now you are seeing Jason through A.J.'s eyes.

Edward: You see, Courtney, A.J. was responsible for the accident that took Jason away from us and delivered him right into the hands of the real villain of this piece -- your brother.

Alan: Jason got lost. I mean, really lost in every way. And he went to work for Sonny doing God knows what.

Edward: Illegal activities, that's what. Corinthos exploited Jason from the git-go. He took a confused, brain-damaged young man, and he turned him into a card-carrying hoodlum.

Courtney: Well, if that's the way that you feel about him, then -- then why are you taking his side over A.J.’s?

Monica: We are not. We love both of our sons.

Alan: And we remember what Jason used to be like.

Rd: And he was a very promising young man.

Alan: Perhaps we're deluding ourselves, but we can't help ourselves from hoping that the Jason we once knew is going to come back. I loved him as much as any father could ever love his son. I still do. And no matter how much he's changed, I refuse to believe that he's gone.

Monica: And until then, all we do is we hope and we pray.

Courtney: And where does that leave A.J.?

Edward: Well, that's entirely up to A.J., isn't it young –

Sarah: So now I'm back at General Hospital and I'm working on my residency.

Jason: I have to leave.

Elizabeth: Okay. Hey, Jason? I'm sorry.

Jason: For what?

Elizabeth: Asking about what you were doing here. I know you're private about that sort of thing and so is Sonny and --

Jason: It's all right. How's your painting?

Elizabeth: Well, I haven't done much of it lately, but that's going to change. I have a few ideas. You're more than welcome to come by anytime, you know.

Jason: Okay.

Elizabeth: Okay. It's kind of weird being on my own. It's good, but, you know, it's weird.

Jason: Yeah. Being alone is okay. You kind of get to see what's going on around you.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I'm starting to get that.

Jason: Yeah. See you soon.

Elizabeth: Okay.

Sarah: Is it me or has he gotten even stranger?

Elizabeth: Jason doesn't say things just to be polite, but I kind of appreciate that about him.

Sarah: Oh. Well, there's one thing that I'm pretty sure isn't my imagination.

Elizabeth: What?

Sarah: Did you and Jason ever have a thing for each other?

Felicia: Elizabeth said that Maxie was down here with you.

Lucky: Yeah. Actually, you just missed her.

Felicia: Oh, I did? Oh. I have to work tonight. I was hoping she would keep an eye on Georgie for me.

Lucky: Oh, you know, Maxie might have a problem with that. She was planning on stopping by my place for a math tutoring session. Apparently, she's got this huge final tomorrow she's really nervous about.

Felicia: Lucky, I can guarantee you that Maxie's math final is not the reason why she wants to come to your house tonight.

Lucky: What do you mean?

Felicia: Well, in case you haven't noticed, she has a killer crush on you.

Nurse: Everything appears normal. Your vital signs are excellent. The doctor will be in and speak with you shortly, okay?

Maxie: Thanks.

Nurse: You're welcome.

Doctor: Hello, Maxie. I'm Dr. Manhoff. What can I help you with?

Maxie: Well -- there's this guy I really like, and it's just starting to get serious. So I -- I figured I should get some birth control pills.

Dr. Manhoff: You're a teenager?

Maxie: I already know what you're going to say. I'm too young, and I should discuss this with my mother, which is basically just another way of saying no.

Dr. Manhoff: Birth control pills are a big decision.

Maxie: I've known this guy for years. We've been really close for a while. It's not a casual thing. I'm trying to be responsible.

Dr. Manhoff: Well, that's good, but abstinence is still the most responsible way.

Maxie: I'm ready to do this, Dr. Manhoff. I'm in love.

Dr. Manhoff: You know, I was in love at your age, too. Two months later, I wasn't speaking to him.

Maxie: If you won't give me the pills, I'll just go someplace else.

Bobbie: I know you've been under a lot of stress because of Carly, and I haven't really had a chance to thank you for all of the support you gave during that horrible time when she was missing. You were just -- you were so kind and so generous and really there, and I just want you to know how much I really appreciate it. And I'm sure Sonny does, too.

Alexis: Sonny -- yeah, well --

Bobbie: Yeah, well, because I know how much he counts on you. You were really there for him.

Alexis: Well --

Bobbie: And -- well, I know that you and Carly have never exactly seen eye to eye, but you never let your personal feelings cloud the issue. Oh, and, Alexis, it's looking like things might work out for Sonny and Carly after all.

Sonny: Come here.

Carly: No -- don’t.

Sonny: Will you let me explain?

Carly: What is there to explain? Hmm? Actions, they speak louder than words, don't they?

Sonny: It's not what you think.

Carly: I'm not thinking anything. Okay? And I'm through getting upset. I mean, my car careening over a cliff and me almost drowning is enough upset for one lifetime, don't you think?

Sonny: I wanted to get back together with you, but you wouldn't. Back at the island, I was ready to rip up the divorce papers, but you said no. You know, the divorce goes on. What -- but what am I supposed to do, stay celibate for the rest of my life?

Carly: You know, you can call me naive, because I just thought that -- I didn't think that you would be getting into a serious relationship this fast, that's all.

Sonny: Serious relationship? What the -- what -- where'd you -- where'd you -- what are we talking about?

Carly: What, was it a one-night stand? What?

Sonny: What Alexis and I had -- we don't have plans for the future. It's not like that.

Carly: Okay, fine. Then you tell me what it's like.

Elizabeth: After the fire, when we all thought Lucky had died, everyone was feeling sorry for me and treating me like I was this fragile little thing that's going to break at any moment. But Jason -- Jason just let me be. I could say and feel whatever I want, and it was okay with him.

Sarah: Which is what you needed.

Elizabeth: Exactly. Yeah, I found myself opening up to him and then I -- well, I realized that -- that I had feelings for him.

Sarah: Did it ever go anywhere?

Elizabeth: It could have. But then Jason left, and by the time he came back, Lucky was home. And everyone, including myself, assumed that I would be with him. And Jason and I, we were still connected. In a lot of ways, he was easier for me to talk to than Lucky, which should have been my first clue.

Sarah: But you stayed with Lucky anyway.

Elizabeth: I thought what I felt for Jason was attraction and not love and that Lucky was the one that I wanted to be with -- for all the good it did me.

Sarah: What about now? Do you think that now that Jason's back in town, you might want to start something with him?

Elizabeth: You know, it's complicated when it comes to Jason. I -- and besides, I'm not completely over Lucky. Playing with somebody else's heart wouldn't be fair to anyone.

Lucky: You know, it might be because she thinks that we have so many things that are in common.

Felicia: Photography isn't one of them. She could care less about photography. In fact, if you took up street cleaning, I'm sure she'd follow you on that.

Lucky: Yeah. Well, I guess my breakup with Elizabeth probably hasn't helped anything.

Felicia: Well, Maxie feels like she's the one who can help you mend your broken heart probably because you helped her through a lot of tough times. Anyway, she feels like something very special can happen between the two of you.

Lucky: Thank you for telling me. I'll make sure that I let her down gently.

Felicia: Thank you. Promise me you won't say anything to her that I told you about this?

Lucky: Yes. I won't mention your name. Don't worry.

Felicia: This is going to be very hard on her. She has set herself up for a major fall.

Dr. Manhoff: You're to be commended for being responsible, but we no longer live in a world where getting pregnant is the worst thing that can happen.

Maxie: I already know about aids and S.T.D.s and all that stuff.

Dr. Manhoff: Good. Then I want you to carry these.

Maxie: Um -- these are for guys.

Dr. Manhoff: These are for your guy. And if he refuses to wear one, you should reconsider your decision to have sex with him. Are you also aware you have to take these pills about a month before they become effective?

Maxie: No, I wasn't. Thanks for being so cool.

Dr. Manhoff: Try to be as open with your parents as possible. They're really not the enemy.

Maxie: I will.

Dr. Manhoff: I'll give you a couple minutes to get dressed. I'll see you outside.

Maxie: This may end up being the best day I've ever had.

Scott: Hello, Alexis. How long are you going to keep the secret?

Sonny: Alexis and I just happened.

Carly: Oh, please. Alexis has always wanted you. I just didn't think you wanted her.

Sonny: Alexis and I, you know -- we've become good friends, and we'll continue --

Carly: Oh, you're going to continue what you started?

Sonny: That's not what I said.

Carly: Oh, so you're going to end it?

Sonny: Carly -- you're back. That -- that changes things.

Carly: Why? You didn't cheat on me.

Sonny: No, I didn't. So, you know, stop playing games.

Carly: What games? Hmm?

Sonny: You came to my penthouse and you told me that you kissed some guy in a bar.

Carly: Yeah, Zander.

Sonny: You were trying to make me jealous.

Carly: Yeah -- okay, wait, wait.

Sonny: What?

Carly: Don't even suggest that we're even. I kissed Zander. You slept with Alexis.

Sonny: You came on to Zander! And if he hadn't turned you down, you'd have gone to bed with him.

Carly: Oh, yeah, that's me -- I do crazy things.

Sonny: Okay, you know what? What I'm saying is we both made mistakes. We can keep finding ways to try to wreck each other or we can just let it go.

Carly: So does this mean you're sorry? Is that what that whole big speech about forgiveness was? Was it real or is it just your guilt?

Courtney: A.J., where have you been? I've been looking everywhere.

A.J.: Down by the lake.

Courtney: Well, I would have gone with you.

A.J.: I needed a few minutes by myself. There are two trees that I like to sit under down there. One, always in the sunshine, covered in leaves this time of year. The other one, it's in the shade and bare. I just thought that it hadn't come out yet -- until I broke off the end of a branch and it was dry and brown inside. That tree was dead. Okay? It occurred to me why I feel so at home there. Those two trees -- they're me and Jason. Jason always got the family's warmth and love, and I always got their disappointment. Jason will always be gold, no matter how many bodies he stands on. Even mine.

Courtney: A.J., don’t.

A.J.: Don't what? Drink? Don't worry, I'm too angry.

Courtney: Yeah? Well, so am I. I can't believe the way that your family treats you. They don't give you any credit at all.

A.J.: I want you to know I really appreciate the way you stuck up for me in there.

Courtney: Yeah? Well, I had to. You wouldn't fight back.

A.J.: I'm a big boy. Doesn't matter, okay? It's not that big a deal.

Courtney: Yeah, it is. I'm your wife. I'm on your side, A.J. Come on; we have our whole future ahead of us.

A.J.: I know that. But --

Courtney: You know what? You are not alone anymore. Okay? I'm here, and I know what you're really like. Kindness, generosity, and honesty. You know, you were there for me when I was spinning out about my own family. You were everything that I needed. So let me be everything that you need. Please, let me do this for you, A.J.

A.J.: I don't deserve you.

Courtney: That's the point -- you do deserve me. Come on, why don't you start believing it?

Edward: Excuse me. A.J., could I see you alone, please? You don't mind, do you, dear?

A.J.: It'll only take a few minutes. I'll meet you down by the lake?

Courtney: Okay.

A.J.: Okay. If this is about Jason --

Edward: No, no, no, it isn't. It's -- it's about your father-in-law, Mike. I just got word that he played the stock tip that I gave him.

A.J.: Right.

Edward: Mm-hmm. And he cashed in big. Now we just have to make sure that he loses his shirt, and Mike will slink out of Courtney's life permanently.

A.J.: Courtney can't find out.

Sonny: What I said -- how I feel about you -- I meant every word.

Carly: I know you, Sonny. I know the depth of your guilt and your anger and how you don't forgive.

Sonny: I didn't say -- I did not sleep with you out of guilt. How many times do I got to say it before you get it?

Carly: Okay, I believe you. Sonny, I will never love anyone the way that I love you. Now, what we had last night -- it was -- it was beautiful. You know, maybe -- maybe we accomplished something. Maybe we helped set each other free.

Sonny: Who's talking about free?

Carly: Look, if you can look at me and not see me turning you in to the Feds, that is really great, but I don't know if I am ever going to be able to look deep into your eyes and not see you sleeping with Alexis.

Sonny: Carly, I can't change what happened.

Carly: Right. Right, and I'm sure that it wasn't the first time you slept with her anyway. I'm sure that you've been sleeping with her for a long time.

Sonny: All right, you know what? I don't owe you an explanation, but I will tell you it was just once.

Carly: Yeah, of course you would say that.

Sonny: Do I lie to you?

Carly: You omit, Sonny. You conveniently leave things out, like sleeping with Alexis. I gave you so many chances to tell me, and you dodged every single one of them. I mean, I even asked you, and you just changed the subject.

Sonny: You had a serious trauma. You were recuperating. I didn't want to bring it up, you know, until I knew you were stronger.

Carly: Oh, thank you. It's very considerate of you. St. Sonny.

Sonny: I stayed up all night watching your face, convincing myself that you were real and alive. I didn't want the first thing when you woke up to be, you know, a fight over who I slept with and why. So I didn't tell you because I didn't want to hurt you. So I kept my mouth shut. I mean, you -- you should understand. You've done it to me a few times.

Carly: Yeah. Yeah, I kept things from you, and you hated me for it. And now I understand why -- because you couldn't trust me. You know what? Now, I don't know if I can trust you.

Sonny: Yeah, you do.

Alexis: I have no idea what you mean.

Scott: Ah, come on. You got to fess parker up here. I mean, the health club, the working out. Why hide the box?

Alexis: What box?

Scott: You know, I'm going to confess something. I share the same secret.

Alexis: You do?

Scott: Yeah. I sneak over here all the time. When I got to get out of the firehouse, you know, I slide down the pole, and I slip over here, and I indulge myself. You know what it's like to indulge yourself. But when you do indulge yourself, you got to pay the piper. You got to accept responsibility for your actions, you know. If not, you got to take steps to nip it. That's why I, like you, go for the low-cal, low-sugar. The mango madness, that's my favorite. Come on --

Alexis: No, thanks.

Scott: Come on, have one.

Alexis: No, really.

Scott: It'll make you mad.  Mmm.

Clerk: What? You again? We've warned you about opening these boxes before purchasing!

Scott: Well, look, I was going to go pay here in a minute. Take it easy.

Clerk: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You must now see the manager.

Scott: Well, you know, that's a good idea because I have some complaints about certain candies that you're not stocking. For example -- see you later.

Clerk: Right this way.

Scott: Carabel. Caribbean caramel. The papaya passion. Where's that one, huh? Where's that one?

Alexis: God. Hi.

Cashier: Hi.

Alexis: Just this.

Cashier: 14.70.

Alexis: Keep the change.

Courtney: You know, I had a special tree growing up, too.

A.J.: Yeah?

Courtney: Mm-hmm. I used to climb into the crook and wait for my dad to come home -- until one night, he didn’t. And I waited and waited and -- until finally, I just fell asleep. And my mom went nuts when I didn't come home. I mean, she called the police station, the fire department, half the neighbors. I mean, she had everybody out looking for me. And then, you know, I finally wandered home in the morning. I just remember her crying and hugging me at the same time, and I told her that I was waiting for my dad. And she said don't, that I should never count on him. About a year later, she told me that he died. Then we moved to Atlantic City shortly after that. You know, I never stopped waiting for my dad. And now, he's back.

A.J.: I get the moral. It's just there's -- there's nobody for me to wait for, Courtney.

Courtney: A.J., you have me, and I am never going to leave you. And I'm not going to let anyone hurt you, either. You know, maybe when I get back, you can show me your special place.

A.J.: You're going out?

Courtney: Well, yeah. I just have to run a quick errand. But I'll be back soon, okay?

Monica: I wonder where Jason's been all this time.

Alan: Could be Puerto Rico. I know that Sonny's got holdings there.

Edward: Jason has more important things to do in life than wait for Sonny Corinthos' orders.

A.J.: Will you listen to you people? You're pathetic. You're obsessing over a person who doesn't even exist. All you have is a memory of someone you used to know.

Alan: Jason is still family.

A.J.: He doesn't give a damn about you.

Monica: Now, that's not true.

A.J.: Really? Does he write, call? He's been gone for over a year. Have you even so much as heard from him once?

Alan: You're missing the point.

A.J.: No, the point is he can ignore you, abuse you. He doesn't have to give you guys at least one little shred of affection. Nothing! Why? Because he's Jason.

Edward: You know something? Bitterness is not an attractive trait, A.J. In fact –

Elizabeth: Lucky and Jason are both in my past.

Sarah: You're sure?

Elizabeth: Absolutely. I want a future that's all about me for a while. I'm going to be totally selfish. I'm not going to waste energy on anyone else, present company excluded, of course.

Sarah: Thank you.

Elizabeth: But I just want to -- I want to enjoy myself. I want to meet new people and go on dates just for fun. How does that sound?

Sarah: Okay, I guess.

Elizabeth: Good. Good, because you're going to be my partner in crime. We're going to do whatever we want with no one to tie us down. And the best thing is I don't have to explain myself to anyone, least of all you, because we're feeling the same exact way, right?

Sarah: Right.

Elizabeth: Good. Let's go.

Sarah: All right.

Bobbie: So get your dancing shoes ready because I'm throwing a party.

Carly: Yeah? What's the occasion?

Bobbie: You are. The fact that you are alive and well and back where you belong.

Carly: Thank you. Thank you.

Bobbie: Oh. And the party's also in honor of all the people who supported me during that awful time when you were missing, like Jax and Zander and Scott and Luke and Laura and Sonny, too, if you want to invite him.

Carly: Yeah. You invite him if you want.

Bobbie: Are you sure?

Carly: Oh, absolutely. And you know what? While you're at it, invite Alexis, too.

Sonny: Need some help there?

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Lucky: How'd you get in here?

A.J.: Tell them that Sonny brought you back here to kill me for trying to take Michael away from Carly.

Carly: A lot has happened since the last time I saw you.

Zander: Like what?

Alexis: Don't worry about the consequences if there are any. I'll handle it.
