Kristina: I have never been in a serious relationship before.

A.J.: Come on, help me see this thing through with Courtney.

Skye: Forget it.

Carly: Tomorrow night is my club opening, so --

Sonny: Oh.

Carly: Maybe you can come.

Laura: Oh, God, I thought I lost you.

Luke: We got a date for a second chance. I'm going to keep it.

Luke: I never thought this place would look so good.

Laura: Well, I'm so glad to hear you say it. Are you sure you're all right?

Luke: Oh, yeah, sure. Honey, stop asking. That doctor you dragged me to gave me a clean bill of health.

Laura: Not quite. He said that he expected you would make a full recovery if you gave yourself time to rest and recover.

Luke: And that's exactly what I'm doing.

Laura: Yeah, I don't think five hours on a plane is what he had in mind.

Luke: You know, if you hadn't dragged me to that quack, we'd have jumped on a plane with Roy and Felicia, and we'd already be upstairs in bed.

Laura: I wouldn't be so sure about that.

Luke: Sure, we would. Jennifer and her aging hit men escaped across the border back into Mexico, and you accepted my marriage proposal. I mean, this thing ended up a hell of a lot better than I had any right to expect it would, and I'm going to prove that to you --

Laura: Okay.

Luke: If you can just help me inside.

[Luke and Laura laugh]

Laura: You all right?

Luke: Yeah. You've always been a sucker for an invalid.

Laura: Stop.

Bobbie: Hey, you two, welcome home.

Lesley Lu: Mommy, Daddy, listen.

Children: Kumbaya, my Lord kumbaya, kumbaya, my Lord kumbaya kumbaya, my Lord kumbaya oh, Lord kumbaya

Laura: Very good! That was beautiful.

[Kristina hums]

Alexis: Hi. Welcome home.

Kristina: Well, look at you.

Alexis: Did you have a good time with Ned?

Kristina: For you.

Alexis: Oh. You brought me a present?

Kristina: Oh, no. It was outside the door when I got there.

Alexis: Oh. Okay.

Kristina: Oh, that ought to make Carly's night -- you showing up at the opening of her club on Sonny's arm.

Courtney: Sonny.

Sonny: Hi.

Courtney: Look, I haven't made up my mind yet about the accident -- whether to take it to court or whatever. The world thinks I ran the red light. So what? I'll get over it.

Sonny: What you choose is up to you. That's not why I'm here. Can I come in?

Courtney: Yeah.

Sonny: Everything okay?

Courtney: So far.

Sonny: Good, good. Well --

Courtney: Hey, you know --

Sonny: Go ahead.

Courtney: No, you first.

Sonny: No, no, you.

Courtney: It meant a lot to me what you said last night about the car accident not being my fault. Thank you.

Sonny: I meant it.

Courtney: I know. And the truth is something that I really value, and I try to keep things honest, you know, especially considering, you know, everybody else in my life.

Sonny: I respect that.

Courtney: So can I ask you something?

Sonny: Go ahead.

Courtney: I haven't heard from A.J., and I was just wondering if you could have possibly done something to him.

Skye: Oh -- oh, A.J., you almost gave me a heart attack. Haven't you heard of knocking?

A.J.: Damn him!

Skye: What is your problem?

A.J.: What do you think? Who's the bane of my existence? You have three guesses and two don't count.

Carly: You like?

Jax: I like.

Lila: Oh, Edward, they're beautiful. And my favorite. You remembered.

Edward: Oh, of course I remembered, my dear. Oh, I remember everything -- those long drives that we took out in the country when we first met, how we laughed and we talked.

Lila: Those were the days.

Edward: And going to the symphony, huh?

Lila: Oh, I loved that.

Edward: Well, let's go again. Let's see if we could recapture some of those magical feelings that we had then.

Lila: If you want.

Edward: Just you and me against the world, huh? You know, back then, there was nothing that we couldn't do. So, Lila, what would you say if I asked you to renew our commitments to each other, hmm? You know, two people who have weathered impossible storms and have stood by each other no matter what? Lila, will you marry me again?

Lila: Of course I will, dear. But I will not give you control of the shares that Jax turned over to me.

[Ned laughs]

Ned: She just nailed you, Grandfather.

Kristina: That didn't come out quite right.

Alexis: So what else is new?

Kristina: What I meant to say is that I'm not the biggest fan of Carly's, but are you sure that you want to show up to the opening of her club on the arm of her ex-husband?

Alexis: Now, whatever gave you that idea?

Kristina: Isn't that what the gardenias are about?

Alexis: No, the gardenias are a thank-you from Sonny because I encouraged him to take his sister with him tonight, and she said yes.

Kristina: Okay. Smart girl.

Alexis: Mm-hmm.

Kristina: Smart girl.

Alexis: And he asked me to go along.

Kristina: Are you going to do it?

Alexis: Mm-hmm.

Kristina: Well, of course you're going to do it. You're not about to sit with a book curled up --

Alexis: You know, you are going out of your way to get me off the subject of you and Ned. Now, does that mean things went well or they went poorly?

Kristina: Things went exactly how they should go. Ned took me completely by surprise. I had no idea until the very last second that he was taking me to his family's cabin.

Alexis: I take it you had a good time?

Kristina: Well, it started out weird and then it got even weirder, but then it got better and things turned around, and we had a wonderful time. We skied and we hiked and we even fixed a car.

Alexis: Well, that sounds invigorating.

Kristina: You know what happened?

Alexis: Honestly, I don't.

Kristina: Ned and I had really open, honest conversation about what we want from each other, and we decided that we're going to take the time to see if we can get it.

Alexis: Good, good. That sounds very productive.

Kristina: Being honest is a good thing, Alexis.

Alexis: Yes, it is, good thing. And that mountain air was very cleansing for you.

Kristina: Actually -- actually, it was. Ned and I know exactly where we stand with each other. There's none of that unspoken stuff, no wondering how the other person feels, if they like you as much as you like them. You know, that stuff is exhausting. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. Especially not my sister.

Sonny: I swear to you, none of my people laid a hand on A.J. Neither have I.

Courtney: Thanks. It's just, A.J. was supposed to meet me last night and he didn't, and I haven't heard from him all day, so I had to ask.

Sonny: I understand.

Courtney: Well, I'm glad you came by.

Sonny: I got invited to a club opening tonight, and I just -- I wanted to know if you wanted to come with me.

Courtney: Do you think that's a good idea?

Sonny: Well, or we could just, I don't know, we could stay here. I can have somebody go get some supplies. I'll cook you dinner.

Courtney: Isn't the club opening some kind of social obligation?

Sonny: I'll stop by -- I'll stop by later. I just -- it's -- I want to spend some time, you know. Hang out.

Courtney: So, you'd make dinner and then what?

Sonny: Well, I mean, no, we can hang, you know -- play cards, talk about your life, or we could just go to the club if you want.

Courtney: The club, is it going to be a big deal?

Sonny: It's an interesting crowd. I think you'll enjoy it. I could buy you something to wear if --

Courtney: No, clothes aren't a problem.

Sonny: But there is a problem?

Courtney: No, uh-huh. No, not at all. I'd love to go to the club with you.

Sonny: All right. Then I'll pick you up in an hour -- if you think that's enough time.

Courtney: Very funny.

Sonny: All right, I'll see you later.

Courtney: Okay.

A.J.: Sonny's done something to Courtney's phone. She can't get incoming calls. I'm sure she doesn't even know it. Just like she doesn't know he's got his goons doing whatever they have to to keep me away from her -- like how my tires mysteriously went flat. Anyway, I was supposed to meet her at the boathouse, right? By the time I got there, she'd already left. I'm sure she thinks I stood her up. So today, when I tried to go see her, a cab pulls out and hits my car. Then, I tried to go by foot, and a road crew is suddenly blocking off an area, and I can't get through. And before you say anything, no, I didn't see Sonny, but it's obviously his doing, okay? This guy is on me like white on rice. No matter what I do, I can't get near Courtney.

Skye: Hey, it was wrong for you to go after Courtney in the first place. I should never have gone along with it.

A.J.: Oh, please. You're just mad because Jax dumped you.

Skye: Well, Jax happens to be right about this. It's terrible what you're doing, trying to get that young girl to fall in love with you just to get back at Sonny.

A.J.: Oh, I can't believe I'm hearing this from a woman who made up bogus threats about Sonny locking her in a meat locker.

Skye: This is different!

A.J.: Oh, really? You know what? If Jax had climbed into bed with you, sweetheart, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Skye: I'm sorry, A.J. You're right. I shouldn't have acted all moralistic about what you were doing. I guess I'm just -- I'm just upset about the way things turned out.

A.J.: I know. You know, it's okay. That's how it is for people like us, you know? Don't worry. You'll figure out a way to get Jax back.

Skye: You're right.

A.J.: Mm-hmm.

Skye: You are right, A.J. I am going to go to Carly's club opening all decked out, a new woman.

A.J.: That's the spirit. You get in her face. And I've got to get to Courtney one way or another.

Skye: You know, there's a perfect pair of shoes I want to wear tonight. Could you help me get that suitcase down?

A.J.: Sure.

Skye: Careful, though. It's full of shoes, which makes it pretty heavy.

A.J.: You're going to make Jax eat his heart out, right?

Skye: Ooh, careful now. Make sure you get right under it.

A.J.: Oh! It's heavy. How'd you get this up here to -- hey. Hey! Skye? Skye! Open up! This isn't funny. Hey!

Children: Kumbaya

Bobbie: Yes! That was so good! Thank you. Now you can go back to your art, okay? Finish up your projects. Drew Bleeter got sick, so I'm helping Lesley out. Hey, why didn't you call me, tell me where you've been?

Luke: Oh, Barbara, you know cell phones. They never work when you want them to.

Bobbie: Hmm. Hey, what happened to you?

Laura: Oh, well, you know your brother and how irresistible he is. One of his old flames was incredibly persistent.

Bobbie: Okay. I guess this is the part where I'm supposed to ask questions later?

Luke: Yeah, later's good. It's a bizarre story. Wait till the chorus take a coffee break.

Laura: Will you take a look at your brother's leg?

Luke: Honey, I'm okay.

Laura: A mineshaft collapsed on you!

Bobbie: What? Is that all?

Luke: Well, we saw a doctor. He said it isn't broken. It's okay, really.

Bobbie: I hope so.

Luke: Yeah, it's all right.

Bobbie: All right. It's good to see you.

Luke: You, too.

Bobbie: Hey, listen, I have to get ready for a very special occasion tonight.

Luke: What occasion?

Bobbie: Carly's club is opening.

Luke: Carly's got a club? She's opening a club?

Bobbie: Yeah.

Luke: What, she trying to run me out of business?

Bobbie: A little stiff competition for you, babe. See you in a bit.

Laura: Bye.

Lesley: Okay, popcorn for the hardworking crafts people. Here we go. You guys can use this or eat it. And hugs for me!

Luke: Hello.

Lesley: Hi, sweetheart. Hi, baby. Welcome home.

Laura: Oh, Mom, thank you.

Lesley: And welcome to Troop 17's monster crafts party.

Laura: Wow. Thank you so much for doing all of this.

Lesley: I'm so sorry. If I'd known you were coming home, I would never have volunteered the house for this meeting.

Luke: Oh, Lesley, it's okay. Right, Laura? It's great. Great.

Lesley: Really?

Luke: I'll let you get back to your cookies. I'm going to go on upstairs and get into bed, and maybe you'll join me?

Lesley: Isn't this just the best timing in the whole world? I mean, Bobbie has to go off to the opening, and I was going to be all alone, and here you are, come to help me with the sleepover.

Laura: Sleepover.

Lesley: Okay, girls, one more time.

Lesley and children: Kumbaya, my Lord kumbaya

Roy: Hey.

Felicia: Hi.

Roy: Hi.

Felicia: Another big night at Luke's, I see.

Roy: Oh, yeah. I've been turning them away at the door.

Felicia: Well, tonight is the opening of Carly's club, you know.

Roy: Oh.

Felicia: I know that because I've been arguing with Maxie all day long about how you have to be 21 years old in order to just get into a club.

Roy: Well, no wonder it's standing-room only around here. It's Carly's big opening. Actually, I think I saw an invitation somewhere, but I guess I didn't.

Felicia: Well, Bobbie invited me to go, but I didn't because I didn't feel like I should, considering Maxie couldn't go, so I thought I would come by here to see if you were suffering, too.

Roy: Suffering from what?

Felicia: P.A.S.

Roy: P.A.S. --

Felicia: Post-adventure syndrome.

Roy: Oh. Well, that's as good a thing as anything to call it, I suppose.

Felicia: And there's no cure for it, none! Except for maybe a good game of poker. What's your game?

Roy: Okay, so, you didn't really come all the way down here to play cards with me and reminisce about saving Luke and Laura from their latest brush with certain death, did you?

Felicia: No. I came here because I was thinking about you and I was worried about you.

Jax: Well, you've done it.

Carly: Yeah, well, we'll know after tonight, won't we?

Jax: Place looks great. And the media has the people in a frenzy. I still can't believe that you turned a shabby, old warehouse on the wrong side of town into this -- tomorrow's headlines.

Carly: It does look pretty good, doesn't it?

Jax: You know, there's only one problem with the club. Your patrons might not see the wonderful job you've done decorating the place.

Carly: Why?

Jax: Because they won't be able to take their eyes off you.

Carly: Well, I hope that doesn't clue them into anything else.

Jax: What's that?

Carly: That I'm scared to death.

A.J.: Come on, Skye. All right, what -- what are you doing? Open the door. Come on!

Skye: I'm protecting you from your own bad impulses.

A.J.: Are you insane?

Skye: Possibly. Or else I've never been more sane in my life. Either way, it's never been more clear to me that I need a new approach.

A.J.: No, no, no, sweetheart, what you need is a shrink. Please open the door.

Skye: A.J., I am through with game playing.

A.J.: What do you call this?

Skye: This is not a game, A.J. This is a precautionary measure. Now, I know it seems a bit extreme, but, really, you've left me no choice. I love you, and I really have to save you from yourself. I'm going to give you time tonight to think -- to really think about what you're doing to Courtney.

A.J.: And meanwhile, you're going to run to Jax and work your magic? Come on, that's hypocrisy.

Skye: Yes, I am going to see Jax tonight, okay? But I am through with game playing. I'm going to eat some crow and swallow some dirt and tell the man the plain and simple truth about how I feel about him.

A.J.: No, no, you have lost your mind. Don't do that, please. It'll never work. Open the door.

Skye: I think it's worth a shot.

A.J.: Oh -- please, Skye, just let me out of here. Let me save you from yourself.

Skye: You know, someday you're going to look back on this night and you're going to thank me.

A.J.: I'll never thank you! You're ruining everything! Come on, Skye! Oh! I got to get to Courtney, please. Ah!

[A.J. bangs on door]

A.J.: Open the door! Ah!

Courtney: Ugh. Who am I kidding? This is pathetic. I wonder if Sonny would treat me to a makeover tonight.

[Door opens]

Courtney: Mom. You surprised me.

Janine: Oh, I'm sorry, honey. Did I catch you playing make-believe with your mirror?

Courtney: Actually, I'm going out. There's this club opening tonight.

Janine: Well, that's great! Oh, so A.J. finally called. I knew he would. I'm a little surprised he's taking you someplace so public. What?

Courtney: I'm not going with A.J., Mom. I'm going with Sonny.

Janine: You're what?

Courtney: He came over tonight and it was different, good. He was being really nice and honest. I think I might have been wrong about him.

Kristina: I'm going to call Ned --

Alexis: Don't do it.

Kristina: And tell him that we're going to the opening night.

Alexis: Don't even think --

Kristina: He will be fine with it. Look, we'll go to the opening of the club. We'll see Gia and Nikolas. Maybe we'll go to Wyndemere and talk about the big move.

Alexis: Listen, if you want to move into Wyndemere, then you should do that. There's plenty of room, and I'm going to miss you very much, but I am going to stay here.

Kristina: You don't have to live 10 feet away from Sonny to still be his attorney.

Alexis: I like my home.

Kristina: All I'm saying is that I just want you to be appreciated more.

Alexis: I am appreciated. There's a myriad of people that appreciate me. If you just give me a minute, I can start naming them.

[Knock on door]

Alexis: There, you see. There's one right there.

Sonny: You are so smart.

Alexis: There. You see? Sonny appreciates me.

Sonny: You knew exactly what to say and it worked. What would I do without you, huh? Huh? Get over here.

Edward: My asking you to marry me again was not about E.L.Q.

Lila: Of course it was, dear.

Ned: You are so busted.

Edward: I just believe in wooing the woman that I love, that's all.

Ned: Is that why you told Kristina that she'd make a great addition to the family and that we should have eight children? You don't leave me much room for wooing.

Lila: Oh, Edward, you are so busted.

Edward: Ned, I was just doing a little groundwork for you. You know, tilling the soil, as they say.

Ned: You scared her out of her wits.

Edward: I've told you before that you young people analyze yourselves to death. You talk about your -- your personal feelings far too much.

Ned: Yeah, what about getting to know each other? What about wooing?

Edward: God, you don't even know the meaning of the word. When Lila and I used to take those rides together, we didn't talk about our personal feelings. We talked about art and music -- you know, things that were going on in the world, events that were much bigger than our little lives. And that way, we got to know each other, to learn to respect each other, and that's why it's lasted so long. That's why it's so strong. And you know something, young man? Those were the happiest days of my life. Oh, God, I don't expect you to understand any of this. Enjoy those flowers, dear.

Ned: Well, I think he meant that last part. But he still wants that stock proxy.

Lila: Well, he won't get it. But, Ned, dear, you might ask him to keep up the wooing. I rather enjoy it.

Alexis: Thank you for the gardenias.

Sonny: Oh, that's the least I owe you. You know, I did what you suggested and told Courtney why I acted that way the night of the accident. And I apologized, she accepted, which, you know, I mean, is great, and she also agreed to come with me tonight. So you were right. Your sister, you know, she's amazing.

Kristina: I know. All right, look, I'm going to go get dressed. I can't go looking like this. I'll be upstairs.

Alexis: You know, why don't you just go with Courtney, just the two of you?

Sonny: She's not really, you know, comfortable around me, you know. She -- when I try to make conversation, she thinks I'm prying, trying to get something out of her.

Alexis: Yeah, no kidding. Who does that sound like?

Sonny: When it's just the two of us, she -- there's, like, awkward pauses and stuff.

Alexis: So you need someone to fill in those gaps, kick you under the table when you say something you probably shouldn't.

Sonny: Exactly.

Alexis: Why do you want to bring me to Carly's anyway? I mean, it's her big night, and surely she doesn't want me there.

Jax: What could you possibly have to be nervous about?

Carly: Oh -- look, Jax, I know the statistics on places like this. Most of them, they fail in the first year, and I have been trying to prepare myself for that. Okay, do -- I want this place to fly? I want it to work more than anything. Do you remember when I came to you with my first budget, and you told me that the place would be closed in the first month?

Jax: That's right.

Carly: Well, right then and there, I decided that I was going to make this my life, put everything I had into it or not do it at all. I just haven't wanted anything like this so badly in a long time.

Jax: Well, you know what? Your work is about to pay off. And before this night is over, you will be the queen of this whole town.

Carly: Thanks for saying that.

Jax: Are you ready to let in the restless hordes?

Carly: Hmm -- I guess as ready as I'll ever be.

Jax: Okay, well, I'll give the word.

Carly: Okay. Oh, get out of my club.

Skye: Carly, I need to see Jax.

Carly: Okay, you do not want to mess with me, not tonight.

Lesley Lu: This is the best troop meeting ever.

Luke: Hmm. Mm-hmm.

Luke: Okay, this time, the square knot.

Luke: Square knot is over and under, over and under. And the bowline --

Luke: The bowline goes around and through. You have to tie it really tight.

Laura: Oh, no, no! Oh!

[Luke mumbles]

Lesley: Okay, guys. Okay, all right, troop. Time to -- jammies. We're going to put our jammies on. Come on.

Laura: Okay, jammies, jammies.

Lesley: You never looked better.

Laura: Oh, dear. Ooh. Need a hand?

Luke: Didn't we just do this -- without the marshmallows?

Laura: Uh -- not quite, not quite. You know, that was handcuffs, and not square knots. And gangsters, and not a troop of little girls.

Luke: Honey, am I sweating?

Laura: I know, honey. This is above and beyond the call of duty for you, isn't it?

Luke: Oh, I'm so glad you said that.

Laura: Yeah. Oh, I don't know. Let's see. How's that?

Luke: Oh --

Laura: You loose?

Luke: Yeah, I'm pretty good.

Laura: Yeah, let me get those marshmallows.

Luke: So.

Laura: Yeah.

Luke: Do you think it's appropriate now for us to, you know, slip up to our room for a little rest?

Laura: Oh-oh-oh. Oh.

Laura: I don't think so.

Luke: I guess not.

Children: Kumbaya kumbaya

Roy: You know, I appreciate you stopping in, no matter what the reason. You know, the fact is I'm -- I'm as okay as I'm going to get, considering that Melissa has been extradited to Chicago. You know, she seemed kind of eager to go. I tried to see her once. It just -- well, it didn't go well, not that I blame her.

Felicia: As long as you don't blame yourself. She's a criminal. And when you found out the truth about her, you had to turn her in. It wasn't betrayal, Roy. You did what was right. You had to do that. You're just disappointed.

Roy: Yeah.

Felicia: I know I've had a lot of disappointments myself.

Roy: There's a bunch of it going around. Tell you what. Why don't you crack these open. They're brand-new.

Felicia: What do you want to play?

Roy: Oh, you choose. I'm going to grab us a couple of beers, and -- hey, Felicia, thank you for thinking about me tonight. I can really use the company.

Felicia: It goes both ways.

Alexis: Look, Carly was upset when she invited you and told you to bring me. I mean, this is her big night, and I think you might be getting in the way of that whether you bring me or not.

Sonny: Carly wants me there. She even wants you there.

Alexis: I hardly think so.

Sonny: It is Carly's big moment. She wants me there to see it, and if I don't show up, then it's like I'm taking something away from her. I know that doesn't make sense to you.

Alexis: Actually, it does. It does make sense.

Sonny: Courtney's excited about it, too, and I need you to, you know, help me with my sister -- not that, you know -- I promise you you won't be babysitting her all night because I'm going to -- I'm going to show you a good time.

Alexis: A good time?

Sonny: Well, you know, you think that maybe that's something you think you could deal with?

Alexis: I can.

Sonny: Yeah?

Alexis: Yeah.

Sonny: Good, good, good, good.

[Knock on door]

Alexis: You know, I'm capable of having a good time.

Sonny: Yeah?

Sonny: All right. I'll come back to pick you up. Hey.

Mike: Hey, Sonny.

Alexis: Don't say anything. Don't say anything. Nothing, okay? I -- we're going to this opening. Never mind.

Ned: It's all right. I understand, Alexis. Kristina told me the whole story.

Mike: How much damage has A.J. done?

Sonny: Well, I think I'm undoing it. It helps that A.J. can't get anywhere near Courtney.

Mike: Sonny, if you hurt him, you know you're going to alienate Courtney.

Sonny: You don't think I know that, Mike? I haven't laid a hand on A.J., neither has any of my people. But it's not my fault that, you know, A.J. got hit with transportation problems and -- it could clear up as soon as, you know, he gets the hint and leaves Courtney alone.

Mike: You're good at this.

Sonny: Yeah. I know.

A.J.: Okay.

[Phone rings]

A.J.: Yeah.

Janine: A.J., where in the hell are you? I thought you were in love with my daughter.

A.J.: I am!

Janine: Oh, yeah? Then why did you stand her up last night?

A.J.: Sonny did. Okay? He's doing everything he can to keep me away from her.

Janine: Oh, and they won't let you make a phone call, either? Is that it?

A.J.: Janine, I tried 100 times, but you never answered. Look, I think Sonny's done something to the phone.

Janine: It's working fine now.

A.J.: Are you in the safe house? Are you? Have you received any incoming calls?

Janine: Well, I don't know, now that you mention it, but, you know, I'm not here all the time.

A.J.: Yeah, well, my guess is you haven't. Janine, please, Sonny doesn't want me to talk to Courtney. He wants her to think that I've lost interest or forgot about her.

Janine: Well, it's working, and you better come up with something soon, lover boy. Courtney is not very happy with you right now.

A.J.: All right, put her on the phone.

Janine: I can't. She's in the shower. She's very excited. She's going to the opening of that new club tonight. Guess who she's going with? Sonny. He's winning, A.J.

A.J.: All right. Tell her that you spoke with me. No, better yet, I'm coming over right now and do not let her out of your sight.

Carly: You are not going to spoil this night for me. Security!

Skye: Carly, I don't want to wreck this for you. I just -- that's not what I want. All I want is to talk to Jax.

Carly: Hi. Hey. Welcome. Welcome to Club 101. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Hi, have a good time. Hi. Welcome.

Man: This place looks wild.

Carly: Thank you. You made it.

Zander: I wouldn't have missed it.

Carly: Let's go get a drink.

Zander: All right.

Skye: Jax, I need to speak with you.

Jax: Skye, you shouldn't be here.

Skye: Please, I -- five minutes, that's all I'm asking. Please?

Luke: Well, I guess this is not going to be a romantic evening after all. Why don't we --

Laura: No, I don't think so.

Luke: Save it till the Little Sunshine girls are out of the house.

Laura: That would be better.

Luke: Can I make the announcement?

Laura: Yes.

Luke: Shall we tell Lulu?

Laura: Yes, let's tell Lulu.

Luke: And your mom?

Laura: Yes, my mom. Oh, Bobbie!

Luke: And my sister.

Bobbie: Hey, you two. You're absolutely terrific. Thank you for everything. I'm going to run because --

Luke: No, no, Barbara, don't run. I have something I got to tell you first. Come on, come on. Come in, come in, come in.

Laura: Oh, Mom, and, Lulu, come here, come here.

Luke: Everybody in.

Lesley: What?

Laura: We have something important to tell you.

Leslie: We missed something?

Laura: Nothing. Nothing yet.

Luke: It's sort of an announcement. Laura and I are going to do something extraordinarily normal, but it is the most extraordinary thing two people can do. We're going to get married again.

[Lesley gasps]

Luke: You like that idea, I think.

Lesley Lu: Can I tell all my friends?

Lesley: Congratulations.

Lesley Lu: Come here, guys! Come here! Guess what -- my mommy and daddy are going to get married again.

Children: Yeah!

Lesley: I'm so glad. I'm so glad. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

[Bobbie laughs]

Bobbie: Smart girl you are.

Carly: Oh, you have no idea how glad I am that you came. I really, really needed a friend tonight.

Woman: Hi.

Zander: Hey. Kate, this is Carly Corinthos. This is Kate. Carly's the senior partner and creative force behind Club 101.

Kate: Your place is amazing.

Carly: Oh, well, thanks. I'm glad you could come to the opening. I hope you'll make it a habit.

Kate: It's tempting.

Zander: Kate is a med student at P.C.U.

Carly: Oh, you're going to be a doctor. That's great.

Kate: Yes, Port Charles is definitely in major need of a place like this.

Carly: I couldn't agree more. Enjoy.

Jax: I'm not in the mood for any gas tonight, Skye.

Skye: Jax, no more game playing. For the first time in a long time, maybe my whole life, I'm about to tell someone the plain and simple truth.

A.J.: Hey.

Courtney: A.J., what are you doing? Sonny will be here any minute.

A.J.: I don't care.

Courtney: Well, Sonny will, and I don't want any more trouble between you two.

A.J.: You know, you need to hear me out, okay? You need to know why I didn't show up at the boathouse.

Courtney: You don't owe me an explanation.

A.J.: Courtney, look, I did everything in my power to get to you.

Courtney: People let you down all the time, okay? I'll live.

A.J.: No, no. Please. Just listen to me, okay? I have been trying to get to you for two days. He won't let me. He keeps throwing up roadblocks.

Courtney: Who?

A.J.: Guess who -- Sonny.

Alexis: Kristina told you?

Ned: About her blurt. And about how bad she feels. Of course, I suspected for a while.

Alexis: Of course.

Ned: And I assume Sonny already knew.

Alexis: He's very intuitive.

Ned: Especially about getting what he wants. He probably wasn't too surprised to hear that you're in love with him.

Alexis: Kristina told Sonny that I'm in love with him?

Kristina: Hello, Ned. When did you get here?

[Knock on door]

[Kristina laughs]

Ned: Hello. Ahem. You look wonderful.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Lesley Lu: She's going to marry Daddy again.

Jax: You've decided to convert to telling the truth now?

Courtney: Sonny really cares about me.

Ned: You should tell him why you're so upset.
