>> Previously on "General Hospital" --

Jax: If I find out you've been lying to me, you and I are finished.

Sonny: I'm Lucky to have you as -- as a friend.

Alexis: I'm moving out.

Carly: Thank you.

Zander: I don't want your gratitude. I don't want anything else from you.

Carly: What, not even my friendship?

Zander: It's over. No. I'm gone.

Skye: Skye Quartermaine, E.L.Q. Got your message. Check your e-mail for the pectus and get back to me, let me know what you think. Thanks. Well, at least I know how to be a C.E.O.

[Knock on door]

Skye: Door's open. Could you turn the bed down, please, and leave some extra chocolates. And, ooh, don't forget to take the laundry with you. Thanks.

Edward: Do I look like the maid?

Skye: Grandfather. You're out of the hospital.

Edward: Yes, and you sound rather disappointed, dear.

Skye: Well, shouldn't you be home resting?

Edward: You really think that I will let you walk away with my life's work?

Skye: Grandfather, we've been through all this.

Edward: Oh, yes. Just because you stole E.L.Q. from me and you gave me a heart attack and you promised me my job back and broke your word.

Skye: It's nothing personal.

Edward: Neither is there in this, my dear.

Skye: Look, if you're here to threaten me --

Edward: No, no, no, no, no. I'm here to make you a very fair deal. If you will make me C.E.O. of E.L.Q., I won't tell Jax what you confessed.

Skye: Excuse me? "Confessed"?

Edward: Oh, yes, of course, when you thought -- when you hoped that I was dying, hmm?

Skye: When you were delusional, lost in postop drugs.

Edward: Oh, God. You think Jax will believe that?

[Edward chuckles]

Skye: He already does.

Edward: Oh, well, he'll change his mind when he hears what you have in store for him.

Jax: Oh, this sounds interesting. Please.

Edward: Oh.

Jax: Go on.

Edward: Mr. Jacks, your timing is just impeccable.

Skye: My thoughts exactly.

Edward: You know what? She thinks this is a setup, huh?

[Edward and Jax laugh]

Jax: Well, you know, Skye's a suspicious woman. How are you feeling?

Edward: Much better all the time. Thank you.

Jax: Good. You have something to share with us?

Edward: It's up to Skye.

Skye: You go ahead, Grandfather. You tell him whatever you want.

Edward: Skye was never threatened by Sonny Corinthos or anyone else. She made the whole thing up so that you would come and -- and rescue her.

Zander: Why'd you do it?

Kristina: Zander.

Zander: You have any idea who you are dealing with?

Courtney: Get out.

A.J.: It's to go with your new clothes.

Courtney: I can't accept this.

A.J.: Sure you can.

Courtney: They're too much.

A.J.: Most any woman would grab them right up.

Courtney: A.J., you have already given me everything in the world.

A.J.: Courtney, it's up to you. You can wear them around the apartment, give them back when you leave, take them with you -- whatever you want.

Courtney: I'll think about it.

A.J.: Okay. So, what sounds good for dessert?

Courtney: After that dinner?

A.J.: You don't want dessert?

Courtney: You know, I've never met anyone like you.

A.J.: That makes two of us.

[Knock on door]

A.J.: Coming!

A.J.: Shh, shh. I'm coming, I'm coming.

[Knock]

A.J.: Ahem. Annie.

Annie: Mr. Quartermaine.

A.J.: Well -- well, come in. Um -- did you find Courtney?

Annie: No, and I'm not going to. I've been a P.I. for a long time. I've found a lot of lost kids.

A.J.: What's the problem?

Annie: I even knew Sonny Corinthos was in the mix --

A.J.: Sonny didn't hurt you, did he?

Annie: No. But his people have made it clear they don't want me on this case.

A.J.: What happened?

Annie: Sonny Corinthos knows exactly what you're up to.

Sonny: Can we take this inside at least?

Alexis: There is not a lot to discuss.

Sonny: Can I open the door for you?

Sonny: You know what? I can see where this could get annoying. I will have it replaced first thing in the morning.

Alexis: I'm still moving out.

Sonny: Is there something else wrong with your apartment or --

Alexis: No, the apartment's great.

Sonny: Do you need bigger office space?

Alexis: No.

Sonny: Then why?

Alexis: Because I need a change.

Sonny: It's about you and me, isn't it?

Alexis: Where I live has nothing to do with you. I never intended to stay here forever.

Sonny: Why not?

Alexis: Well, because you've given me a very good deal on this place for a very long time and I need a better tax write-off.

Sonny: Okay. You want me to raise the rent?

Alexis: No. I mean, yeah -- I mean, not on my behalf. I mean, Courtney, when she comes back here -- and she will -- will probably want this place to herself. I mean, who knows?

Sonny: Well, I wouldn't know.

Alexis: I filed those motions for the condemnation order, and Jax still thinks you're threatening Skye.

Sonny: Well, that's nonsense and you know it.

Alexis: Well, in any case, we have a lot going on, both of us, and there'll be no better time, so I'm thinking I should just move now.

Sonny: Where will you go?

Alexis: Wyndemere. Nikolas wants Kristina and I to move in, and there's certainly enough room there for us. Give us a chance to spend more time together.

Sonny: Ahem. Alexis, where are you planning to live?

Alexis: Wyndemere! I just said Wyndemere! You have a problem with Wyndemere?

Sonny: Yeah. The Grill doesn't deliver to Spoon Island, the place reminds you of Chloe, and you've been trying your whole life to get away from the Cassadines. So what are you -- what are you talking about?

Alexis: You're just upset because you're not going to have me around 24/7 -- as your attorney, I'm talking about.

Sonny: Oh, so you want me to give you more regular working hours?

Alexis: Yes.

Sonny: Oh.

Alexis: No. No, that doesn't have anything to do with this at all. You know, Ned told me not to live here in the first place -- not that this has anything to do with Ned. And, you know, running into your bodyguards all the time isn't exactly a selling point.

Sonny: You know what? Let's be honest here. You know what this is about? It's about what Kristina told me.

Alexis: What did Kristina say, exactly?

Kristina: Why are you so upset at me?

Zander: You know, I never told you anything -- not straight out -- but you went straight to Carly!

Kristina: Because I was worried about Alexis!

Zander: Oh, so, what, you go to Carly and talk about things you know nothing about?

Kristina: I needed to know if you and Carly --

Zander: There is no me and Carly.

Kristina: Look, I didn't mean to upset you, all right?

Zander: Didn't we agree at Jakes, you and me, that we wouldn't say anything?

Kristina: Yeah.

Zander: Okay, and I didn't tell you Carly's in love with Sonny and always will be?

Kristina: I needed to make sure.

Zander: Oh, so, what, you can't tell?

Kristina: They're divorced, Zander! If Carly really has moved on, then --

Zander: She hasn't! She never will. Everybody knows that.

Kristina: If my sister's going to get involved with Sonny, a man who's still in love with his ex-wife --

Zander: So, what's the deal, Kristina? Do you -- do you always do this? Do you just say random things, whatever comes to your mind?

Kristina: I want to help my sister!

Zander: Even if it hurts everybody else?

Kristina: You know what? Alexis has a lot at stake --

Zander: Oh, oh -- what about Carly?

Kristina: Things that you don't understand.

Zander: What about Carly? If Sonny finds out -- what if there's a rumor going around this town? If Sonny finds out one little thing, he will never take her back.

Kristina: Why -- what is it that Alexis sees in Sonny anyways? Huh?

Zander: Alexis knows who she's dealing with and so do I and so does everybody else except for you.

Kristina: I didn't mean to hurt anyone. I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't mean to hurt Alexis or Carly -- no one.

Zander: Well, you just -- you're making a lot of trouble over nothing.

Kristina: Your feelings aren't "nothing," Zander.

Zander: It's over, Kristina, all right? I mean -- there's nothing there, all right? Carly and I -- we aren't friends anymore.

Kristina: Why not?

Zander: I told her it wouldn't work.

Kristina: Because of Sonny?

Zander: You really don't get this loyalty thing, do you?

Kristina: Oh, so you ditch Carly and now you're Mr. Loyal?

Carly: Look, Zander, can't we just discuss this? Okay, yeah, that's going to work. Look, Zander, you -- you don't understand. Oh, my God. I am so bad at this.

Bobbie: I have one quick question.

Carly: Mom.

Bobbie: Who are you talking to?

Carly: Help.

A.J.: Did Sonny's people threaten you?

Annie: Two guys in good suits showed up in my parking garage. One of them opened my car door for me, but my car was supposed to be locked.

A.J.: What makes you think these guys work for Sonny?

Annie: Gee, A.J., my first clue is that they have no necks. Then they politely suggested that if I find Courtney, would I please bring her to Sonny and forget about A.J.

A.J.: Oh. Annie, they're bluffing. Stay on the job.

Annie: Not in this life.

A.J.: Sonny has no reason to hurt you.

Annie: You hired me because I look like his sister.

A.J.: That isn't the only reason. Okay, look. I have to keep Sonny off of Courtneys trail. You see, I have to find her before he does.

Annie: Then find her without me. I am off this case. No way will I go against Sonny Corinthos.

A.J.: I understand.

Annie: I hope you find Courtney. She seems like a great kid.

A.J.: I appreciate that.

Annie: And don't call me again, all right?

Courtney: Why does my brother do stuff like this?

A.J.: You know what? Don't worry about her, okay? She's just overreacting.

Courtney: Sonny really hurts people, A.J.

A.J.: He would never hurt you.

Courtney: What about you?

A.J.: I can handle Sonny.

Courtney: What if you can't?

[A.J. sighs]

A.J.: I want to help you and protect you no matter what it takes.

Courtney: Are you safe here in this place?

A.J.: Probably.

Courtney: But you're not sure, right?

A.J.: You know what? This might be a good time to convince Sonny that you aren't in town.

Courtney: I'll do anything.

A.J.: You could be putting yourself at risk.

Courtney: After everything that you've done? Let's go for it.

A.J.: You're the best. You know that? All right.

Skye: You've missed a lot when you were sick, Grandfather.

Edward: Oh, yes, when I was in the hospital recovering from the heart attack which you caused.

Skye: Jax knows there's no real threat from Sonny.

Edward: Jax, do you know that she made up everything?

Skye: Yes.

Edward: And yet she -- she still has the job?

Jax: We've come to an understanding.

Edward: Oh, yes, as a result, I'm sure, of Skye's rather obvious romantic overtures.

Jax: A little personal, isn't it, Edward?

Edward: Oh, you know -- or it could be justice -- you know, repayment for the companies that you've raided, you know, causing all that trouble.

Jax: That's entirely possible.

Skye: Edward, you've made your point.

Edward: Oh, no, I haven't, my dear, but I'm about to. Did you know that Skye openly admitted that she would take whatever steps were necessary -- including lying about some nonexistent danger -- to get you in her bed? Isn't that what you told me, dear? Guilt and evil and fear -- they all evaporate with time, but the truth stays. Guilt and evil and fear -- they all evaporate with time, but the truth stays.

Skye: Where do you come up with these things, Grandfather?

Edward: You told me yourself.

Skye: Well, you're obviously confused.

Edward: Oh, are you saying that I'm wrong?

Skye: I want Jax so I can tell the Quartermaines to go to hell, and that is all I told you.

Edward: There -- isn't that enough?

Jax: It's not how I usually do business.

Skye: I got carried away. That's all.

Edward: Then you don't want Jax.

Jax: I don't work this way, Skye. I never have.

Skye: I can't believe you're buying into this.

Jax: And I don't appreciate how you've treated the Quartermaines.

Edward: Then give me back my company.

Jax: And I don't expect this sort of thing from friends.

Skye: I -- I didn't mean to --

Jax: For me to find out? Obviously not. You're good at the game, Skye. I have to hand it to you. But I honestly believed that we were friends, to say the least.

Edward: Now, you hold the controlling shares of E.L.Q., huh? I demand you reinstate me as C.E.O.!

Jax: You know, why don't we just turn this into a little game?

Edward: Hmm?

Jax: Not your kind of game, Skye, but somewhere along the lines of a little test.

Skye: I'm not interested.

Jax: Winner gets to be C.E.O. for the next six months.

Skye: I won't do it.

Jax: Well, then I'll have to hand the reins back to Edward, effective immediately. It's your call.

[Edward chuckles]

[Knock on door]

A.J.: Coming!

[Knock]

A.J.: All right, all right. Janine.

Janine: Did you find her? Where's my baby girl?

A.J.: She isn't here.

Janine: Well, you called me.

A.J.: I heard from her.

Janine: Where is she?

A.J.: She's with friends.

Janine: Which friends?

A.J.: Out of town.

Janine: A.J., which town?

A.J.: She didn't want me to tell you.

Janine: Okay, so she calls you, out of all the people in the whole wide world, including me. Why is that?

A.J.: I'm no threat. I would never sell her short.

Janine: That better be true. Is that what she said?

A.J.: Not in so many words. But she asked me to tell you she misses you.

Janine: Tell me she's all right.

A.J.: She is, all things considered. But she wanted me to tell you go to Sonny and tell him to stop looking for her.

Janine: Why?

A.J.: Because she needs some space, some time.

Janine: She told you that, too?

A.J.: She'll come back. Okay? She will be back. Until then, just --

Janine: You know what? Be quiet -- please -- rich boy. You tell me what you are up to or you tell me where my kid is!

A.J.: Janine, I don't know where she is.

Janine: Well, then, I guess it's time to call her brother and we'll let Sonny deal with you.

Bobbie: What have you done now?

Carly: Oh, I love that vote of confidence.

Bobbie: It's a real question.

Carly: Okay, so what am I supposed to do -- fly off the handle now, lose it, say things that I'm going to regret and don't mean?

Bobbie: Did someone end up in jail?

Carly: No, but --

Bobbie: In the hospital?

Carly: Will you stop?

Bobbie: Why do you think I'm kidding?

Carly: It's about Sonny, all right?

Bobbie: Oh, well, now, there's a surprise.

Carly: I tried to make him jealous again.

Bobbie: Oh, honey, aren't you past that?

Carly: You know, I am trying. I am. But it's not easy. You know, I'm just so sick of Sonny treating me like I'm his property.

Bobbie: Isn't that what this club is about -- making a stand and doing something on your own?

Carly: Yes, definitely, but --

Bobbie: So what did you do?

Carly: Why do I always end up getting other people in trouble, hmm?

Bobbie: Which people?

Carly: Zander.

Bobbie: How much trouble?

Carly: Well, it could be a lot.

Bobbie: With Sonny?

Carly: Now Zander doesn't want to be my friend anymore.

Bobbie: Hmm. I'm sorry to hear that.

Carly: It's not like I blame him or anything. I've had, what, three real friends in my life? One's dead and one -- I trashed his life and the third one now doesn't want to speak to me. Why do I destroy everything in my life -- everything but you, huh?

Bobbie: I come from pretty tough stock. So do you.

Carly: You know, I just -- I just want to pick up the phone and I want to call Zander and I want to make everything all right.

Bobbie: That's a bad idea.

Carly: Okay, so, tell me, what am I supposed to do then?

Bobbie: I will tell you what I think, but you won't like it.

Zander: I was into some really bad stuff when I got here. Sonny helped me out. He paid Alexis to get me out of jail, gave me a place a live, gave me a job. And what do I do? I get way too close to his wife.

Kristina: They're not married anymore, Zander.

Zander: I lied to his face.

Kristina: When do we get to the loyalty part?

Zander: You really don't get this, do you?

Kristina: Apparently not.

Zander: If Sonny finds out about any part of this --

Kristina: You're never going to be seen again.

Zander: Sonny will never go back with Carly.

Kristina: And that's a bad thing?

Zander: He'll always love her, and she'll always beat herself up for being with me.

Kristina: This is just crazy.

Zander: Sonny and Carly love each other. They always will. I mean, so what if they fight? So what if it doesn't make sense? So what if Carly blows up? That's just the way they are, and I knew that coming in. So if I want to be loyal, I got to forget about it.

Kristina: No matter what it costs you?

Zander: I can deal.

Kristina: So sometimes you have to be loyal to someone whether they like it or not?

Zander: Yep.

Kristina: Even when it gets complicated?

Zander: Especially then.

Kristina: I'm sorry. I never should have said anything to anyone about you.

Zander: It's usually a pretty smart idea.

Kristina: No matter how much I love my sister.

Zander: Alexis can take care of herself. She can, okay?

Alexis: Kristina likes to make everything perfect, you know? You're a lot alike in that regard. What exactly did she say to you?

Sonny: Well, she just said she -- you know, she's afraid that I'm going to hurt you.

Alexis: So is everyone else in this town. You havent. You wont.

Sonny: Are you sure about that?

Alexis: We slammed a couple of doors.

Sonny: Right.

Alexis: It's not a big deal. I'm over it.

Sonny: Mike says I push people away.

Alexis: Well, you have, in a sense, devoted your life to throwing him out of your apartment.

Sonny: Carly, my sister. Have I pushed you away?

A.J.: Janine, please, just take it easy, all right?

Janine: Well, you -- why shouldn't I call Sonny?

A.J.: I'm just the messenger.

Janine: No, you're a liar is what you are, A.J., with too much time on your hands.

A.J.: She doesn't want to be found.

Janine: You know, you don't realize, do you, that I know men like you. You think you can get away with anything you want to. You can keep my daughter from me. I really hope that you don't think that you can use her up and throw her away.

A.J.: You know, your daughter is her own person. She's an adult. You have to respect that.

Janine: My daughter wouldn't know a good man if she saw one, and yet I am still really surprised that she's hanging out with a rat like you. I am definitely calling Sonny.

Courtney: Don't you dare tell Sonny.

Janine: Courtney.

Courtney: You say one word to him, I will never speak to you again.

Janine: My God, baby, aren't you glad to see me?

Courtney: Why do you even care where I am? I have been taking care of myself all of these years thanks to you.

Janine: So much for your honorable intentions.

Alexis: I just need a new place. I need a new experience.

Sonny: If you're upset about the gardenias, just --

Alexis: No, I --

Sonny: I will make sure that Carly stays away.

Alexis: Carly -- listen -- your relationship with Carly, aside from the divorce settlement, is none of my business.

Sonny: That's probably true.

Alexis: You know, she'll probably always drive you crazy.

Sonny: Yeah? Well, maybe I don't need it anymore. I used to think living alone, being alone, was the price I'd pay for this life and the things that I do. I believed that my life was too dangerous to let anybody in.

Alexis: Maybe it is.

Sonny: Yeah, well, but here we are just the same. And I don't know how it happened. It just happened, you know? So -- you're kind of -- you're kind of all I have left.

Alexis: So, that makes me, what, your consolation prize?

Sonny: I didn't say that.

Alexis: I don't have the time, nor am I interested in being a substitute for everyone who's walked away from you.

Kristina: Zander, I promise you I won't say anything to anyone about you ever again.

Zander: But if you do, leave me out of it.

Kristina: Understood.

Zander: Okay. Well, good night.

Kristina: Good night.

Ned: Zander Smith is trouble.

Kristina: This from some man lurking around the docks?

Ned: He nearly ruined Emilys life.

Kristina: Well, he knows who his friends are.

Ned: Yeah. That's part of the problem.

Kristina: And he knows what loyalty is.

Ned: He knows how to stay out of jail. I give him that much.

Kristina: What are you doing down here, really?

Ned: I'm planning a magical mystery tour.

Kristina: Okay. What's that supposed to mean?

Ned: Imagine yourself far away from everyone -- except me.

Kristina: And?

Ned: No pressure, no obligations, no unexpected visitors.

Kristina: I don't think so.

Skye: I have a company to run.

Edward: Not for much longer.

Skye: I don't have time for this.

Jax: But, Skye, this is a game. You love games, don't you?

Skye: Fine.

Edward: You can ask me anything.

Jax: Okay. Who owns Aladdins Vault and what does the company sell? Edward?

Edward: Now, look, this is obviously a trick question.

Jax: Skye?

Skye: Aladdin's Vault sells server space. E.L.Q. owns its company and all of its subsidiaries as of two weeks ago.

Edward: While I was at death's door, huh?

Skye: Well, I made a good deal, Edward. What can I say?

Jax: Your cut alone is worth about a million and a half.

Edward: Bunch of trash heap tech stocks that have probably crashed by now.

Jax: I wouldn't be so sure about that.

Skye: If it starts to crater, we'll sell.

Jax: When's the last time you actually looked at the E.L.Q. portfolio?

Edward: But I just got out of the hospital.

Jax: Then you're clearly not up to speed.

Edward: I should've known that you two would gang up against me. Get back to --

Jax: You know, Edward, Skye is difficult. She fancies herself a little dangerous even. But she is the first and only choice for E.L.Q. -- for the moment.

Edward: No. Why am I not surprised? A scheming raider in bed with lying trash.

Skye: Thank you, Grandfather.

Edward: You know something, Jax? She is no more than you deserve, so enjoy.

Bobbie: Why not give Zander a little room? His life sounds complicated enough right now.

Carly: Because I'm worried about him.

Bobbie: You want him to tell you everything's going to be all right.

Carly: Is it so terrible?

Bobbie: Oh, honey, why don't you just back off a little?

Carly: Oh, you know what? Cause it's my fault, all right? I dragged Zander into this, and he ended up lying to Sonny to cover for me.

Bobbie: Can I ask what happened?

Carly: It was bad, it's not going to happen again, and it's not what you think.

Bobbie: Okay. Fine.

Carly: That's it?

Bobbie: You're on your own, remember?

Carly: So I don't call him?

Bobbie: I wouldn't.

Carly: But, you know, Zander -- he doesn't understand what's going --

Bobbie: Well, maybe you don't understand. Maybe you're wrong here.

Carly: You know, why do you always think that?

Bobbie: Even if you're not, don't push. Leave him be.

Carly: So just back off, right?

Bobbie: Yeah, for a little while.

Carly: Yeah, okay. Okay.

Bobbie: "Yeah, okay," you will or "yeah, okay," the minute I walk out of the room, you're going to pick up the phone?

Carly: 50/50.

Bobbie: Okay. I can deal with that.

Carly: Thanks.

Bobbie: Hey -- have I mentioned lately I am very proud of you?

Carly: Not today.

Bobbie: You went after your dream. You didn't have to steal somebody's husband or trick a drunk or depend on Jason to bail you out. You did this, and it's beautiful!

Carly: Thanks, Mom.

Bobbie: You're a survivor, just like me. That's what we Spencer women do best.

Carly: Yeah, well, speak for yourself.

Bobbie: You did good.

Carly: Thank you.

Bobbie: Don't even think about picking up that phone.

Carly: Okay, goodbye.

Courtney: Why would I want to come back to you?

Janine: I don't know. I just hope you're using birth control.

Courtney: God, you don't understand me. You never have.

Janine: I am looking out for you.

Courtney: Why can't you just be nice to me like A.J.?

A.J.: That's enough, okay?

Courtney: Why can't you just be happy for me or glad to see me or glad that I'm all right?

Janine: I --

A.J.: Please, I don't want her upset.

Janine: I should've known you would've pulled a stunt like this. I should've known.

A.J.: All right. Would you just --

Janine: Can't --

A.J.: Janine, please -- please, excuse us.

Janine: I -- ugh!

A.J.: What are you doing?

Janine: I'm going to make you pay for this.

A.J.: Look, you keep this up, you are going to lose your daughter.

Janine: Is that a threat?

A.J.: "Is that a --" you keep treating her like this, and she will be gone for good.

Janine: What kind of scam are you pulling here? You say you love her. You say you want to marry her.

A.J.: Janine --

Janine: And then -- hey!

A.J.: We are on the same team!

Janine: You're shacking up with her!

A.J.: We're on the same team, believe it or not. I want to marry your daughter, okay? I want to give her a good life, and that goes for you, too. A great life. I want to make her a real Quartermaine, and you would be part of the family.

Janine: In exchange for what?

A.J.: You just go to Sonny. You go to Sonny, you tell him that you don't know where she is, that she's okay, and convince him to stop looking for her.

Janine: Oh, yeah, sure. That'll be easy.

A.J.: Or you go tell Sonny that Courtneys here with me now and you lose your daughter forever.

Ned: I know what you're doing, and I think you're wrong.

Kristina: You came all the way out to the docks to tell me that I'm wrong?

Ned: No. Actually, I came out for some fresh air. I wasn't ready to go back in the studio again. You know, that place you ran away from the other day?

Kristina: I -- I didn't run away.

Ned: Made a hasty retreat?

Kristina: I went home, Ned.

Ned: Because of Alexis.

Kristina: Not necessarily, no.

Ned: Well, then what was it? The cookies? The whipped cream?

Kristina: You know what? I just didn't expect us to have company, okay?

Ned: Especially not your sister.

Kristina: It was weird. That's all.

Ned: I know. I know it's weird. And this whole thing is weird. Our relationship -- whatever it is -- may be weird for a while.

Kristina: For how long?

Ned: Until it isn't.

Kristina: I'm serious.

Ned: So am I. But I know that Alexis and I are not going back. She's moved on and so have I.

Kristina: Are you sure?

Ned: Yes, I'm sure. We both are.

Kristina: Well, maybe I'm not.

Ned: Maybe Alexis isn't the problem. Maybe you are.

Alexis: So, when all else fails, you call your good pal Alexis, instant attorney across the hall?

Sonny: That is not what I mean --

Alexis: You're not the only one with abandonment issues. You're not the only one who can't get close to people. Do you know that I hitched a semi at my own wedding?

Sonny: Well, isn't that what you're doing now?

Alexis: No, I'm just making a point.

Sonny: I need you in my life.

Alexis: I'm not quitting as your attorney.

Sonny: And I'm not -- I'm not talking about as my lawyer.

Alexis: What are you talking about?

Sonny: You have a place in my life. Look, I know that I assume a lot and I take advantage of you living here. And I'll back off. If you want me to back off, I'll back off. Whatever you want, just tell me what it is.

Alexis: I appreciate that.

Sonny: I trust you.

Alexis: And that costs me. Do you understand that?

Sonny: Well, maybe it's too much. Look, you know, I'm not saying that you're wrong because you want to move out of here. I'm just saying that if I lose you, then, you know -- if I push you away, it costs me, too, okay? Maybe more than I thought.

Jax: I don't even get a thank you.

Skye: Look, I don't know what just happened here, but you've made it clear that we aren't friends. So, why did you ask such an easy question?

Jax: Did you really tell Edward that you wanted me?

Skye: I don't have time for confessions, Jax. I have a company to run -- "at least for now." Isn't that what you said?

Jax: If you want me, why didn't you just ask?

Skye: What if I did ask? What would you say?

Kristina: First I'm wrong, and now I'm a problem. And now you expect me to go out of town with you when I don't even know where we're going?

Ned: Good point.

Kristina: You know --

Ned: Maybe I'm not the man for you. Maybe you're not the woman for me.

Kristina: Then what's the point?

Ned: What if there isn't one? What if we're just two people who need a little time together? No interruptions. No friends, no family. Just you and me.

[Phone rings]

Zander's voice: It's me. You know what to do.

[Answering machine beeps]

Carly: Hey, Zander. Hey, are you there? Will you pick up if you are? Zander, I wish I could take it all back. I was wrong and I messed up. I'm so sorry, Zander. I miss you already.

Courtney: Oh, God, I can't believe my mother said all those things about you.

A.J.: She was upset.

Courtney: She wasn't even glad to see me. How could she be so horrible, and after all that you have done for me --

A.J.: I have something to tell you.

Courtney: Please do not apologize for her again. Let's just order dessert or go watch a movie or --

A.J.: I'm falling in love with you.

Sonny: I'm not saying that it's fair or that I'm right.

Alexis: Fine. In any case, I'm moving out.

Sonny: You sure that's what you want?

[Knock on door]

Alexis: Excuse me.

Janine: I found Courtney.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Lucky: I put money on a loft today. You're coming home with me.

Sonny: I just want to know where my sister is!

A.J.: The feelings I have for you, Courtney, are real. I want to see where it goes. Will you give me the chance?

Skye: You keep coming back for more. What's that all about? Are you the one with feelings for me?
