>> Previously on "General Hospital" --

Man: Rev. Estrada's here.

Jennifer: Now we're ready to rock.

Nikolas: I took care of the situation because I love you.

Alexis: She is my sister.

Ned: I would never purposefully hurt her.

Sonny: You keep your hands off my wife.

Carly: Don't go running to Sonny and tell him that I lied and it was you because it's going to make a bad situation worse.

Jennifer: Rev. Estrada, I was about to give up on you.

Roy: May I offer my most sincere apologies. I got here as soon as I could.

Luke: Are you always this laid back about weddings, Reverend?

Roy: Uh, I had car trouble, my son.

Luke: Well, padre, an excuse is an excuse. You shouldn't keep people waiting on the most important day of their lives.

Roy: What can I tell you? Even a man of God must sometimes get a flat tire.

Jennifer: Who is this?

Roy: My wife, Blanca. She's here to bear witness to the ceremony and to provide the music.

Jennifer: Well, I heard that your wife was mousy and drab. And come to think of it, I also heard that you were a lot shorter than this, Reverend.

Roy: Well, I was. It's a miracle.

Nikolas: Is that any way to treat the ex-love of your life?

Sarah: Spare me the princely charm, Nikolas, and explain why Gia didn't get a blood alcohol test the night of the accident.

Gia: I cannot believe that beemer is mine. I can't wait to drive it.

Sarah: Let me get this straight. My sister nearly got killed in Gia's old car, so you rushed out and bought Gia a new sports car? How cold-blooded can you be?

Gia: Is Elizabeth okay?

Sarah: She's recovering. It might be a while before she drives a car, but I'm glad to see the trauma hasn't affected you any.

Gia: I just meant that --

Nikolas: No, it's -- there's just a problem at the hospital with your blood alcohol test, that's all.

Sarah: Look, the head of interns is a jerk named mason Caldwell. He knows the test wasn't given and he's worked up about the hospital's liabilities, so he's not about to let this go.

Nikolas: Fine. Fine, Sarah, I'll go speak to him. All right?

Sarah: Nikolas, Gia had a glass of champagne at the restaurant. I saw it myself. It was full and then it was empty. Now, are you going to stand there and insist that she didn't drink it?

Gia: No.

Nikolas: Absolutely.

Sarah: If you're lying about the drinking, then what else are you lying about?

Max: Still no word on your sister yet.

Sonny: How about the P.I. A.J. hired to track her down?

Max: She's legit.

Sonny: It figures. All right, keep looking for my sister. And find out who was coming on to Carly at the bar, will you?

Zander: I told you to leave me alone.

Jax: We on target for the opening?

Carly: Right on schedule.

Jax: Well, then let's stick to business, shall we?

Carly: Fine by me.

Jax: You know, that's funny because Sonny has a different impression. He accused me of taking advantage of his ex-wife.

Carly: How?

Jax: Well, he wasn't specific. But if you're trying to get him to pay attention to you, it's working because he was fiercely protective.

Carly: Why would he think --

Jax: Carly, I'm nobody's pawn. And as I've said from the beginning, my financing of this club has nothing to do with Sonny. I'd like to keep it that way. So whatever game it is you're playing with him, please exclude me.

Carly: Jax, I never told him anything to do with you. I don't --

Jax: Okay, then who did?

Carly: I --

Jax: Because Sonny seems convinced that I did something to hurt you, and he obviously trusts his source or he wouldn't have been so upset.

Carly: Well -- oh, my God, Zander told him.

Jax: Told him what?

Carly: You know what? None of your business, that's what. We agreed to keep our personal lives separate, so anything I may do with Zander -- or anyone else, for that matter -- is really not your concern.

Jax: What could Zander possibly have done to get you so hot and bothered? Unless -- unless, of course, you and Zander have become more than friends.

Carly: Okay, shut up.

Jax: Have you been kissing your ex-husband's most loyal little foot soldier? My, my -- what would Sonny think of that?

Edward: Oh, Ned, I put all of my faith in Melissa. I made her a beneficiary in my will. And all the while, she was mercy-killing those poor elderly patients.

Ned: Well, she's in custody now, so she won't be threatening anyone anymore.

Edward: You know, I consider myself a man of pretty shrewd judgment, but why couldn't I see that?

Ned: She believed she was helping her patients by putting them out of their misery.

Edward: She was so caring and kind. I opened up to her, admitting that I didn't care about living any longer. God, what if she believed me? Whew.

Ned: Well, it's over now.

Edward: You know, if you can't trust people like that, who can you trust, huh?

Ned: Me. I may not always tell you what you want to hear, but you can count on me.

Edward: I'll hold you to that, Ned.

Ned: I'll get you home as soon as we get done with this paperwork.

Edward: What's the delay? Is it too much to ask for a little efficiency around here, you people?

Ned: We'll be in the waiting area. Thanks.

Edward: Oh, it'll be so good to get home again.

Ned: I'll tell you, the house has been eerily quiet since you've been away. I think even Big Alice misses you.

Edward: Ooh.

Ned: We'll get you all settled in. You can rest up and you'll be back to normal in no time.

Edward: Don't treat me like I'm some doddering old fool. I have no intention of sitting in a chair and taking naps and swallowing little pink pills.

Ned: Well, I'm glad to hear it.

Edward: So fill me in on all the goings-on at home while I've been hospitalized.

Ned: Where would you like me to start?

Edward: Why not start with you? What are your future plans, Ned? And do they -- do they include that delightful, talented, little redhead Kristina, hmm?

Zander: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I thought you were somebody else.

Kristina: I take it you wanted to toss this person into the harbor?

Zander: Among other things. God. Why do I always want exactly what I shouldn't?

Kristina: I know the feeling.

Zander: You know, I always thought about going out to sea, piloting one of those fishing boats out in the gulf. Spend all day on the water just thinking about nothing but where the fish are going and when the weather's going to come in.

Kristina: You like the sea?

Zander: No, I just always thought that I'd be better with fish. When I'm around people --

Kristina: It gets complicated. Yeah.

Zander: Yeah. I mean, I didn't want it to.

Kristina: Nobody ever wants it to. It just kind of sneaks up on you.

Zander: Yeah, tell me about it.

Kristina: Why is it that we can't control how we feel about people?

Zander: There's more important things. There's trust and loyalty. Somebody puts their trust in you, you have to honor that and do the right thing.

Kristina: Sometimes it's hard to know what the right thing is, though.

Zander: For example?

Kristina: For example -- I'm starting to have feelings for the man that my sister almost married, and I really can't help but feel like I'm betraying her.

Zander: Ned? I mean, I knew Ned and Alexis were officially over, but I just assumed --

Kristina: Yeah, it's been about a year.

Zander: Does Alexis know?

Kristina: Alexis knows. Alexis says that it's okay, but it's just -- it's so weird. I feel like I'm -- I'm a man-stealer or something. You know, and Ned and Alexis -- they say it's over between the two of them, but I can't help wondering if they really still do care about each other.

Zander: I thought you had a thing for Sonny. You know, what about all that stuff you said the other day?

Kristina: I was talking about somebody else.

Zander: You mean, Alexis. You need to tell her to back off of Sonny.

Kristina: Trust me, I have told her that.

Zander: Sonny is all about Carly, and Carly is all about him.

Kristina: You know what, Zander? It's not that simple.

Zander: Yes, it is. Yes, it is. You just shove the feelings down, you don't let them take over, you push them away. You don't let it ruin everything, for them and for yourself.

Kristina: I take it we're not talking about Alexis anymore?

Zander: I got to go.

Kristina: Wait a second. Is it something that I said?

Zander: As a matter of fact, yeah. Thanks for your company.

Kristina: Zander, be careful. You're only going to make things worse. Trust me.

Carly: I never said I kissed Zander.

Jax: What else could Zander have said to Sonny to get him so upset? That you're getting your coffee from somewhere else?

Carly: Okay, you know what? I've got a lot of work to do before the opening, so if we're finished here, you can --

Jax: Carly, whatever you do with Zander is not really my concern anyway.

Carly: That's right.

Jax: But you know, if you're starting to see other people, I just want to say that I think it's great. I think it's long overdue. I think you deserve better than Sonny. I think that Sonny still acts as if you're his property, divorced or not.

Carly: Yeah, when it suits him.

Jax: Yeah, that's Sonny for you. But you're on your own now. You're no longer waiting around for him to change his mind.

Carly: Yeah. Well, that's for sure.

Jax: You know, Sonny made you feel as if you weren't good enough. But you deserve a man who won't put you on trial, someone who will love and respect you for who you are.

Carly: Okay, Jax, you want to tell me where you're really going with this?

Jax: Okay, I need the truth. What did you do to get Sonny so angry?

Carly's voice: Why do you need to know who I kissed? You made it very clear that we are finished and it doesn't matter who I see. I think that you said that I could "do the guy on the pool table downstairs." Isn't that what you said? So why all of a sudden does this matter? What's changed?

Sonny: Because the last time you did this, you did it with me. And it was a hell of a lot worse than a kiss. You remember that? Lying in my bed while Jason was getting shot? You remember how you felt, huh, when Jason found us together? You loved him. I knew you did. But you still threw it away, burned it all down by sleeping with his best friend because in the five minutes before it happened, you knew it was a way to hurt him and you the most. So who you trying to rip now, Carly? You? Me? Are you just going to blow your life apart? You trying to push me to see how far I'll jump?

Jennifer: So what's the story?

Felicia: I object to the word "mousy." I tried to dress appropriately as the wife of the man of the cloth.

Roy: And you did, my dear.

Felicia: And, yes, it is true he is no longer short. It's a miracle.

Roy: May I suggest a respectful silence at this joyous occasion, Blanca?

Laura: How can it be joyous when the bride has the place filled with armed thugs and the groom is handcuffed?

Jennifer: My goodwill is wearing real thin.

Luke: Oh, ignore her, darling. Concentrate on us.

Jennifer: All right. I'm going to go back to the main house and slip into my wedding gown.

Luke: Ooh. I'll be waiting here, chomping at the bit.

Jennifer: In just a mere moment or two, I'll be all yours, sugarbug. Reverend, get things ready. Come on, boys. Honey, cue up that wedding march.

Jennifer: What a guy!

Roy: Ugh.

Laura: We are in real trouble here.

Roy: I got here as soon as Elton gave me the message. That Jennifer chick is seriously smitten, dude.

Laura: She is crazy.

Luke: Yeah, well, not to mention her gun-toting goons.

Laura: Yeah, that one Abe is really itching to put a bullet in Luke.

Felicia: We've got to come up with a plan fast.

Luke: Well, looks like they're going to be busy up at the big house for a while.

Laura: Look, why don't we just make a run for it?

Luke: No, look, Laura, that won't work, darling. They're armed, and they're perfectly capable of hunting us down like dogs. You just don't happen to have a swat team on you, do you?

Roy: We are the cavalry.

Luke: Well, okay. Laura had a pretty good idea.

Roy: Yeah?

Luke: You know, with a couple of tweaks here and there, it just might work.

Roy: Let's hear it.

Luke: All right, the minute the ceremony is over --

Laura: Why are you doing this?

Luke: Because I'm in love with Jennifer! Don't you understand?

Laura: No, I don't. You're engaged to me. You can't marry that awful woman.

Luke: I got to follow my heart! You should understand that.

Man: Hey, hey, hey, hey! Break it up, break it up. Listen, I'm talking to you.

Luke: Get your hands off me!

Man: You'd better behave!

Luke: Nice punches.

Roy: Nice kick.

Luke: Get him somewhere out of sight, will you?

Roy: Yes, Sir.

Laura: One down, two to go.

Luke: Let's keep this roll going.

Laura: Yeah.

Luke: Hey, can you really play that thing?

Felicia: I know two songs really well.

Luke: Cool.

Roy: I stashed him under a cactus.

Luke: Good. Let's hope he stays there.

Abe: The bride's ready. All right, everyone take your places. Reverend, over here. And you here.

Luke: All righty. All right.

Roy: Play something.

[Plays "Mexican Hat Dance"]

Roy: Play something appropriate for a wedding.

[Plays "Bridal March"]

luke: Jenny Belle, you look gorgeous.

Jennifer: I do, don't I?

Roy: That's enough. Ms. Jennifer, if you'll permit me --

Jennifer: There's not going to be a problem, is there, padre?

Roy: One small problem. My holy orders expressly forbid conducting a wedding where anyone has been coerced.

Jennifer: I don't like the sound of this.

Roy: Meaning, simply, I cannot proceed while anyone is in handcuffs.

Jennifer: Well, I was going to take them off eventually. Go ahead, Abe.

Jennifer: Well, all right, Reverend, let's get to work.

Roy: Un momento, por favor. I mean, I can't have anyone in handcuffs. That includes the lady.

Jennifer: You're a real stickler for the rules, aren't you?

Roy: It's a weakness.

Jennifer: You heard him, Abe. Go ahead.

Jennifer: Satisfied?

Roy: Completely. Thank you.

Jennifer: All right, well, let's get this show on the road. Oh, just one last thing before we get started.

Luke: Anything at all, woman of my dreams.

Jennifer: Well, I just want you to know that if this day doesn't wind up with you and me in the wedding bed, Abe here has orders to take care of Laura.

Roy: Dearly beloved, we are gathered here together in the sight of God to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony.

Sarah: Did you lie about running the red light?

Nikolas: Of course she didn't.

Sarah: I'm asking Gia.

Gia: No.

Sarah: It would mean that you filed a false police report. You can go to jail for that.

Nikolas: I think we're well aware of the law.

Sarah: Well, if Gia lied, then I have to report it.

Nikolas: Sarah, no one is denying that Gia had a sip of champagne. I finished the rest of her glass. She didn't have enough alcohol in her blood system to show up on a blood alcohol test. That's a fact, all right?

Sarah: Too bad we don't have the test to prove that.

Nikolas: Let me ask you something -- what are you trying to prove here?

Sarah: I am trying to find out what really happened to my sister.

Nikolas: Fine. We've told you that.

Sarah: And I'm trying to keep an innocent girl from being blamed.

Nikolas: Now, wait a second. You're the one who's not being honest here.

Sarah: Excuse me?

Nikolas: You're upset that Elizabeth was injured, all right? And you want someone to pay. We understand that. That's fine. It was an accident. They happen. Courtney Matthews may get a ticket, do some community service. The fact is, Elizabeth will recover. Now, I will not let you walk in here and start placing accusations. The accident is over and done. We all need to move on. So, listen, if the doctor gives you any trouble, call me, let me know, and I will deal with him.

Sarah: Nikolas is right. I am upset, and if it seems like I was taking it out on you --

Gia: Hey, it's all right. I'm sure I would feel the same in your position.

Sarah: Well, I'd better get back to the hospital.

Gia: I'll walk you out. So is Elizabeth able to move around yet?

Sarah: A little bit. She walked today.

Stavros' voice: Power's seductive. It sets you free. It clears the path. You're taking down the boundaries, that's all -- destroying anything that gets in your way. It will become second nature -- our nature as father and son, your nature as a Cassadine.

Alexis: Nikolas.

Carly: I told Sonny I kissed another man.

Jax: Why?

Carly: Because I was mad, all right? He had given Alexis flowers for Valentine's Day.

Jax: Yeah, see, anything to keep her under his thumb.

Carly: Well, she didn't seem to be suffering too much, and neither did Sonny, so I decided to pay them back.

Jax: Well, you certainly succeeded.

Carly: Well, I wish I hadn't because now I got Sonny all riled up over nothing, and I think that Zander's going to end up paying for it. Because as soon -- as soon as I told Sonny about the kiss, he went straight to Zander and demanded to know who the guy was.

Jax: Why would Zander know?

Carly: Well, because he's supposed to be keeping an eye on me.

Jax: Ugh.

Carly: But I got there just in time. Zander was about to tell him who I kissed, but I convinced him not to.

Sonny: Well, just check all the places you did before -- the bus depot, I don't -- she's got to be somewhere. I don't have time right now.

Zander: This can't wait.

Alexis: You look haunted.

Nikolas: Sarah was just here.

Alexis: How's Elizabeth? Is she all right?

Nikolas: Yeah, she's doing fine, you know? The visit just brought up some bad memories for Gia, that's all. Such a shock, you know?

Alexis: How are you?

Nikolas: Taking care of Gia.

Alexis: That's not what I asked you. How are you?

Nikolas: I'm not the one who was in the accident, Alexis.

Alexis: You were the one that had to deal with the police and answer all those questions and stay at the hospital the whole time.

Nikolas: I can -- I can handle it.

Alexis: I know you can handle it, Nikolas. I also know how stressful it is. I want you to know if there's anything I can do, I want to help.

Nikolas: Thank you. Really, thank you, but I'm fine. Okay? So how is Kristina doing? I've been meaning to come by. Really I have, I promise.

Alexis: I wish you would come by. We're family, and I would like to know how you're feeling since Stefan left.

Nikolas: Short version or long version? Busy. Busy. No complaints, though.

Alexis: Good. However --

Nikolas: What? What, Alexis? What?

Alexis: I'm worried about you being consumed by this place -- all things Cassadine everywhere. Living with this, living with the shadow of your father -- is this what you want?

Nikolas: Why would you ask me that?

Zander: I need some bogus information to feed Jax.

Sonny: It can wait.

Zander: No, I don't think so.

Sonny: Zander, I appreciate your initiative. It's great, but I --

Zander: If I can convince Jax that that I am actually turning on you, I can get him off your back, at least for a little while.

Sonny: I've been dealing with Jax for a long time, Zander. What are you --

Zander: Sonny, he's offering $5 million for anyone who can come up with information to put you away.

Sonny: I've been through this before. Jax has no idea how my organization works, who I work with. His money is useless.

Zander: He could still be planning other things. If I can get Jax's trust, I can find out what he's up to.

Sonny: You're giving him way too much credit.

Zander: Sonny, he already tried to close down the warehouse, and he could still do it. The injunction that Alexis got is only temporary. He's still going to come after you. The threat is real, and I can help you to stop him.

Sonny: Why are you pushing this? What's it really about?

Jax: I guess -- so Sonny divorces you but doesn't want to let you go. Now he's manipulating you and Zander, and somehow he's twisting this whole thing around to make you feel guilty. What a guy.

Carly: Okay, and you would think that because you hate Sonny.

Jax: Okay.

Carly: Yeah.

Jax: Okay, Carly, you know what? Seriously, this is a very unhealthy breakup.

Carly: Look, I know that, okay? And I'm afraid that Zander's going to be caught in the middle. He's -- he's been really amazing, and I suppose that I probably leaned on him too much. Maybe because I didn't have Sonny anymore or maybe just because I really needed a friend.

Jax: You know, there was a time when you would have kissed Sonny's loyal prot'g' just to hurt Sonny or yourself.

Carly: Yeah, well, I came close.

Jax: No, you didn't. Because you aren't the old Carly.

Jennifer: For richer or poorer -- although we won't be having to worry about that, peaches -- in sickness and in health, till death do us part.

Roy: Beautiful. You may now begin your vows.

Luke: Ahem. I, Lucas Lorenzo Spencer, take thee, Jennifer Elizabeth Francesca Smith Boggs Smith --

[Jennifer screams]

Roy: Oh, my goodness!

Jennifer: What have you done?

Roy: Oh -- children, please --

Jennifer: Oh!

Roy: Oh!

Jennifer: Luke?

Jennifer: Do you think she did permanent damage?

Roy: One can only pray.

Jennifer: You snake! You ruined my wedding again! Why didn't you stop her?

Abe: She moved like greased lightning.

Laura: I'd rather put him in the hospital than let you have him.

Jennifer: You'll get yours. How's he doing?

Roy: Not good. He needs a doctor immediately.

Jennifer: Cozimo, get Luke in the truck.

Roy: On a --

Roy and Cozimo: One, two, three!

[Jennifer screams]

Jennifer: Oh! I knew you weren't a priest. Aah! An actor --

Luke: Come on, darling!

Edward: You like Kristina, don't you? Hmm?

Ned: Well, yes. But it's not that simple.

Edward: The girl is available. How complicated is that?

Ned: She also happens to be Alexis' sister.

Edward: Well, but Alexis ran out on your wedding over a year ago. You still nursing that old wound?

Ned: Well, as a matter of fact, I'm not. I'm -- I'm completely over it.

Edward: Good, Ned, I'm glad to hear it. You deserve the kind of woman who doesn't bolt like a frightened pony at the sight of a wedding ring. Now, granted, your past relationships have been pretty dismal. But you're a good man, Ned. And I think that Kristina is the kind of woman who appreciates that. Hmm?

Ned: Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Kristina herself has her own reservations.

Edward: About what?

Ned: Well, to start with, she's -- you know, she's concerned with Alexis' feelings.

Edward: Oh, God, reservations and concerns. You young people so overanalyze your feelings that it's a wonder that the human race even continues.

Ned: Some would say that we're being considerate.

Edward: And I say that you are dragging your feet.

Ned: Caution can be a virtue.

Edward: Listen to me, Ned. Time does run out and the party does end. Life offers us precious few opportunities for happiness. When the chance comes around, you better take it because it may not come around again. And you don't want to end up in a hospital regretting what you didn't do because you didn't take the chance.

Alexis: You [missing] starting a new lift?

Nikolas: That hasn't changed.

Alexis: And I recall you talking about this place being a mausoleum and how you were going to tear it down and build something new?

Nikolas: So we decided not to.

Alexis: Why? I think it was a really good idea. You know, you can sweep out the old, bring in the new.

Nikolas: Okay, we can do that without knocking down the walls.

Alexis: I have the impression that this house could change you instead of you changing it.

Nikolas: What makes you say that, Alexis?

Alexis: Because I know what a profound effect your father had on you.

Nikolas: My father was flawed, okay? I'm not deluding myself about that.

Alexis: I understand that, but he's your father and it had to have affected you. How could it not?

Nikolas: Alexis, what are you exactly worried about here? Wyndemere or my father?

Alexis: Both. I think this place is hideous and you should take it down. And as for your father, I have a feeling you're sitting here obsessing and having yourself convinced that you're going to turn into him.

Nikolas: Don't you ever -- don't ever say that again, Alexis. Don't say it again!

Gia: What did you do to upset Nikolas?

Lucky: Hey.

Elizabeth: Hey.

Lucky: Aren't you supposed to be resting?

Elizabeth: Resting can be pretty monotonous.

Lucky: Well, I guess if you're drawing, it's a sign that you're feeling better.

Elizabeth: Yeah, well, my head's not so fuzzy anymore, but I'm still having a hard time concentrating.

Lucky: Yeah. What are you working on here? The accident?

Elizabeth: I dream about it sometimes, but when I wake up it's gone. So I thought maybe if I can draw it and remember how it happened, then I wouldn't have to think about it anymore.

Lucky: Well, don't you know everything that happened? I mean, Sonny's sister ran a red light. You saw the headlights, you tried to warn Gia.

Elizabeth: I know, but it's weird. I can remember the feeling. You know when you get in an accident and everything takes place in slow motion and everything is so sharp and clear? I can remember the song on the radio, and I can remember grabbing the door handle. I can even remember seeing Courtney's lights, but I can't remember this traffic signal. And it was right in front of me, so why can't I see it?

Sonny: Why are you so on fire about going after Jax?

Zander: Because he assumed that I could be bought.

Sonny: He was wrong.

Zander: Well, I want him to know that.

Sonny: Why do you care what Jax thinks?

Zander: Because he doesn't know how much you've done for me. He looked at me and he saw someone that could be used, someone that was weak and disloyal.

Sonny: Okay. So what you're saying is that you're angry because he showed you no respect.

Zander: Yeah, but he will. When I'm done with this, he's going to know who he's dealing with.

Sonny: Jax isn't worth the energy. You need to cool down and treat this as a business problem.

Zander: I'm trying.

Sonny: I know, you know, you would never go against me the way Jax thinks.

Zander: No, I wouldn't.

Sonny: So forget him. I trust you completely. You got nothing to prove to me.

Zander: Yeah, I do.

Gia: Alexis, what did you say to him?

Nikolas: It's nothing, okay? I was just upset over Sarah's visit. I took it out on Alexis. It's fine.

Gia: Maybe you should leave.

Nikolas: No, no, it's my fault. Okay? I'm fine. Listen, can you just -- just give me a second to apologize to Alexis, okay?

Gia: Okay. I'll be right outside if you need me. You just call, okay?

Nikolas: Thank you.

Alexis: What is it, Nikolas?

Nikolas: Alexis, I'm petrified. I don't want to be like him. I don't want to be like my father, Alexis.

Lucky: Maybe you're trying too hard.

Elizabeth: I just hate the way this feels. Like reaching and reaching for something that I know is supposed to be there. And I can remember everything around it -- the sounds, the images. But the most important thing just seems to be out of reach, and there's a chance I may never remember. Is that how you feel when you're with me?

Lucky: I used to. Like if I tried hard enough, the love would come back. You know, I swear sometimes it was almost right there. And then it would just slip away again.

Elizabeth: Lucky, I don't want to put you in that place, and I don't want to be there with you. I know how frustrating it is not being able to remember a traffic signal. I can't imagine how it feels not to remember love.

Lucky: That's not how it is for me anymore. I mean, I know what you mean to me. I knew it the first time I saw you in the E.R. It may not be love yet, but it's everything else -- liking and needing and wanting to be with you.

Elizabeth: All I'm saying is you don't have to push it. You don't have to reach. If you like being with me, great, because I feel the same way. But it doesn't have to be anything more.

Lucky: No, but it is going to be more. I know it. Can you trust me on that?

Edward: Sit down, Ned. Just sit down. Listen to me. I want you to sweep Kristina right off her feet. Huh?

Ned: Well, it's -- it's tempting.

Edward: Well, what are you waiting for?

Ned: Thank you, Grandfather.

Edward: For what?

Ned: Well, this is probably some of the most positive advice I think you've ever given me in my life.

Edward: Well, then don't just sit there and think about it. Go on and do something. Go on, now. Don't worry about me. I'm not going anywhere. Go on.

Ned: Hi, this is Ned Ashton. I would like to arrange a getaway vacation for two.

Carly: Yeah, well, the old Carly always managed to get what she wanted.

Jax: At what price?

Carly: Too high.

Jax: Yeah. And look at you now. You have a new club. You have a house. You have a son that you adore, and you have a partner with deep pockets.

Carly: Sounds pretty good, huh?

Jax: You just keep being exactly the woman you are at this moment, and things will come to you.

Carly: Yeah, you so sure about that?

Jax: Absolutely. I know so. You just got to be patient.

Carly: Oh, see, but I'm working on that. It's hard for me.

Jax: Uh-huh, well, you have to learn.

Carly: Uh-huh.

Kristina: Jax, hi.

Jax: Hey.

Kristina: How you doing?

Jax: Did you come to see me?

Kristina: No. I came to see Carly.

Jax: Oh, well, you know, I was just leaving, so I'll check in with you later. Nice to see you again.

Kristina: Bye.

Jax: Bye.

Carly: Bye, Jax.

Kristina: So, how's the dating game going? Any interesting men in your life?

Sonny: Well, why do you think you have something to prove? I mean, I already accepted, you know, why you told Carly you were guarding her, and it turned out to be all right. I trust you completely. So what's the deal? I mean, you know, you've justified my faith.

Zander: I've tried, but, look, there's --

Sonny: All right, well, then it's all cool, right? Keep guarding Carly, and don't worry about Jax.

Zander: Sonny, there's something I got to tell you. It's about me and Carly.

Luke: We'll never get through the river down there. Let's go this way.

Jennifer: Gotcha!

Laura: Luke!

Jennifer: Don't touch her, or your face will be the last thing she sees.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Alexis: What have you done? What is it that you're not telling me?

Sonny: This about the guy who was kissing Carly?

Zander: Yeah.

Luke: Go ahead. Aim for my broken heart.

Laura: No, Luke!
