Lucky: I just wanted the night to be special.
Elizabeth: I just think you're trying a little too hard.
Alan: You're suspended until further notice.
Melissa: I quit!
Jax: If Sonny causes you any more trouble, I want to know about it.
Skye: This is not your battle.
Gia: Who's that?
Elizabeth: My sister, Sarah.
Sonny: If she's not happy with me, she can leave.
Kristina: That is the way that you treat someone who is in love with you?
Sarah: I have a confession to make. I was in Greece for three weeks last summer, and I tried to find Nikolas' family island. The only problem is there's, like, 500 private islands --
Gia: That girl is your sister?
Elizabeth: Well, the boys look awfully happy to see her.
Sarah: Oh, Lizzie, I'm so sorry I missed your wedding. I'm so happy for you and Lucky, though. You both look great. Marriage must be -- did I say something wrong?
Skye: My treat.
Jax: I prefer mineral water.
Skye: A nature boy -- exactly what I needed. Fortunately for you, the can is empty, so you don't have to worry about fouling up your bodily temple. What are you, by the way? 6'2"? 6'3"? Oh, never mind. Obviously, you're big enough. Strapping, some would say. Squeeze.
Jax: Well, I guess you -- you're trying your hand at recycling?
Skye: I'm working on a different project, so humor me. Squeeze the can. Actually, crush it.
Jax: That concludes the entertainment portion for the evening.
Skye: Oh. Lucky me -- big and strong. Looks like I found my man.
Carly: I was kidding about using you, Zander. I would never treat you like that.
Zander: Thanks. It's not you, it's me. I -- there's something I think you should know. Something I felt for a while, and I didn't think I was going to tell you, but --
Carly: You can trust me, Zander. Whatever it is, just say it.
Sonny: Can I come in?
Alexis: How bad is it?
Sonny: Well, that depends.
Alexis: Catastrophic? Because you know what? I'm going to bill you starting now, and I'm going to keep going for the rest of your life.
Sonny: Okay, do you need some help?
Alexis: I don't need any help! I don't need any help. I just need a new lock because this one just jams all the time. Unlike the original one I had before you had that blown off my door last summer.
Sonny: Well, I can just call a locksmith --
Alexis: I don't want a locksmith. I don't want a bodyguard from you. I don't want anyone associated with you, all right? I just, unfortunately, am your counsel for the record, so that's not an option. Who has been arrested?
Sonny: No one.
Alexis: We can't discuss it out here because anything that's said is admissible in court.
Sonny: Well, this isn't business. Um -- it's -- it's personal. About as personal as it gets.
Roy: Alan was afraid for his father, and he took it out on you. But now that he's had a chance to reconsider, I'm sure he'll change his mind.
Melissa: I haven't done anything wrong. I can't slink away as if I have.
Tony: Sorry. Excuse me.
Melissa: Oh, hi.
Tony: Did you get my message?
Melissa: I'm sorry, yes. I didn't have a chance to call you. I've been a little preoccupied.
Tony: That's okay. It'll just take a minute. You were on duty last week when a patient of mine, Mrs. Holt, passed away?
Melissa: Yes, I remember.
Tony: I was really surprised. I mean, her condition seemed relatively stable to me, and I thought she had maybe three months left, and -- I was just wondering if you noticed anything about that day that she died.
Melissa: No, nothing unusual. I mean, I do remember that she was in excruciating pain, and I don't think she has any family left. Anyway, maybe it's a blessing. I think she's at peace now.
Tony: Well, thank you for your help, and, you know, I wish you would reconsider your resignation.
Melissa: Well, thanks. As a matter of fact, I'm just waiting to try to clear the air with Dr. Quartermaine.
Tony: Good. If you need any help, you call me, okay?
Melissa: I will. Thanks a lot.
Tony: Sure. Excuse me. Melissa has something very important to tell you.
Melissa: Dr. Quartermaine. I'd like to set the record straight about your daughter's accusations.
Skye: Oh, my self-defense instructor has stressed the importance of my sparring with somebody larger than me. Are you available?
Jax: No. You know, I make it a policy not to -- to assault women.
Skye: Well, if you're afraid of hurting me, don't be. Inside this compact frame lives a will of steel and the power to subdue strong men.
Jax: Well, I have no doubt.
Skye: Then why are you hesitating? Afraid I'll get you in a stronghold?
Jax: Yeah, terrified of you.
Skye: Well, don't be. Don't laugh. You know, I can do it if I wanted to.
Skye: That's probably why you're avoiding me right now because you know that --
Jax: You were saying?
Skye: Well, I'm semi-impressed. But there are 64 moves in the book. Wait till you see my next one.
Carly: I know how hard it is to trust. I mean, for years, I carried stuff around inside me that I never told anybody, till this one night in the rain where I come to the end of everything. I mean it, Zander, I was out of options. And so I took a leap of faith and I trusted someone, and he came through and my life -- he changed it.
Carly: No. Not, Sonny. Someone else, someone who I never really paid back, whose life, actually, I trashed, and, you know, I can't make it up to him. But maybe I can make it up to you. I mean, I promise, Zander, whatever it is, I'll help.
Zander: Yeah, but you already did. I mean, you -- you said I would get over losing Emily, and I didn't believe you. But you wouldn't give up and you were right. I mean, I'm past it because of you.
Carly: Well, not that I mind taking the credit, but what exactly did I do?
Sonny: Okay, can I just try?
Sonny: Okay, can I just try? Please?
Sonny: Okay, go ahead, try it.
Alexis: You know -- ahem -- there's really no point in dragging this out, all right? You were wrong -- not about firing Zander because that's probably the best thing that has ever happened to Zander. And you didn't fire him to save him. You fired him to punish him because he dared to tell you the truth.
Sonny: I was punishing Zander for telling Carly the truth.
Alexis: That -- you see, that is just pathetic.
Sonny: Oh. Is it?
Alexis: You have the most vicious double standards I have ever encountered in a lifetime of dealing with questionable people. You won't lie to Carly, but you'll order someone to lie to Carly for you. You won't tell your sister about the hell you lived through all your life, but you will punish your father relentlessly for allowing it to happen.
Sonny: That's right.
Alexis: You have an impossible code to live up to. It's not because you expect people to meet them but because you dont. I mean, you can't wait to push people away. You can't wait for people to screw up, and it's sad, it's destructive. It is. But, you know, apparently --
Sonny: I'm sorry. I'm -- I'm sorry.
Alexis: What did you say?
Sonny: I said I'm sorry.
Alexis: For firing Zander?
Sonny: For -- for everything.
Alexis: Define "everything."
Sonny: You know what? I -- I know better than to make assumptions. I mean, you know, simple things can get complicated if you don't pay attention -- like with you.
Alexis: Ah -- whoa. You know, I'm not the boy you fired, and I am not the sister that you bullied. You have a whole long list of people-related problems. I'm not one of them.
Sonny: You're important to me, Alexis. Okay? And I have not been listening to really what you're saying.
Alexis: To what?
Sonny: Do you under-- to what? To, you know, what you say, how you say it. The expression on your face when you say things.
Alexis: My face -- the expression on my face? What does the expression on my face have to do with anything?
Sonny: Well, because I haven't really --
Kristina: Alexis, why did you leave the gym so fast? I really wanted to talk to you about some--
Sonny: Hi, Kristina.
Kristina: Sonny, what -- what are you doing here? I mean, not that -- not that you don't have full right to be here. I mean, you are -- you know, Alexis is your attorney, and you know you do pay her a lot of money for her to be your attorney, so --
Sonny: Alexis is an excellent attorney.
Alexis: Okay. Now that we've all agreed on my professional expertise, we're in the middle of something right now.
Kristina: Nothing too serious, I hope.
Sonny: No, everything's fine.
Kristina: Oh. Okay. Great. Then I will let you get back into it -- I mean, into your business that you were doing. I'm going to be upstairs.
Sonny: Your sister seems a little high-strung, don't you think?
Alexis: I hardly think you're qualified to make that comment.
Sonny: Well, I'm just saying that, you know, sometimes she seems like she doesn't think clearly. Like, you know, she gets going on this metaphysical stuff, like one time she dragged me out into the hall and started telling me about this -- you know, this monkey story or -- what I'm trying to say, I mean, does she ever, like, say things that don't quite make sense to you?
Alexis: She may be a little overly enthusiastic, you know, and tend to draw unique, if not completely inaccurate, conclusions about things, but she's hardly deluded. Is she?
Sonny: Well, I don't know. I mean, I don't -- I don't know her that well to make that judgment. She just seems a little excitable.
Alexis: How you can accuse anyone of being excitable is beyond my comprehension.
Sonny: Well, I mean, I do have a temper. We all know that.
Alexis: That's an understatement.
Sonny: But I already apologized.
Alexis: Well, you could do better.
Sonny: A better apology?
Alexis: No, you could deal with your emotions in a more productive manner.
Sonny: Oh, say what I feel, don't get mad?
Alexis: That's the general idea, yes.
Sonny: Yeah, okay. You first.
Sonny: Yeah, you. Yeah. You know, you were in my apartment for an hour, telling me how you were going to tell me how you felt, and you didn't. Do it now.
Alexis: I feel that you are a domineering, chauvinistic, morally bankrupt criminal with a great deal of personal charm. Which you exploit on a regular basis to get people to do things that they would never do for you under any circumstances whatsoever. But you have a great heart, and one, two, maybe three times a year you actually choose to show that. The rest of the time you're mildly enjoyable to deal with, when you're not being a complete nightmare. Anything else?
Sonny: I like you, too.
Alexis: Good. Good night.
Sonny: Oh, yeah. One more thing --
Alexis: I'm billing you for this.
Sonny: I get now that whatever you say to me is coming from a good place.
Alexis: Well, I'm glad that you noticed that. You're still not getting a discount.
Sonny: Good night.
Alexis: Good night.
Sonny: Hey, hey.
Alexis: Hey, hey.
Gia: The ice carvers were all booked and, besides, we needed more time for the dress. They sent ivory with --
Nikolas: I didn't get a chance to finish the introductions. Sarah, this is my fiance, Gia Campbell.
Sarah: You're engaged? That's wonderful. Congratulations.
Nikolas: Thank you.
Lucky: So, what brought you back from Prague?
Sarah: What started as homesickness grew into a wish. Next thing I knew, with a little effort, I was on a plane headed here.
Elizabeth: Never changes.
Gia: How long will you be staying?
Sarah: I'm back for good.
Lucky: Oh. Well, that's great.
Nikolas: So welcome home.
Lucky: Sure took you long enough.
Nikolas: So you're interning at G.H. That's great.
Sarah: Yep. I got my acceptance a couple days ago. I don't know. I couldn't wait to surprise everyone. I missed you all so much.
Gia: Well, I'm sure Lucky and Nikolas would love to hear all the details, but I've got a slight wardrobe glitch. So if you'll excuse me and Elizabeth, I need your help in the ladies' room.
Sarah: What's really going on with you and my sister?
Elizabeth: What wardrobe glitch? And what was all of that about my train not matching?
Gia: I was trying to cover for you. The least you can do is thank me.
Elizabeth: Sarah is my sister. She knows I wouldn't cancel my wedding because the dress was wrong.
Gia: Well, if Sarah knows so much, why didn't she realize that the wedding was canceled? Or better yet, why aren't you thrilled to see her? And don't pretend that you are because I heard that crack about nothing ever changing.
Elizabeth: Gia, do you have a sister?
Gia: No. But I can totally grasp the concept of man-stealing witch. Does that describe Sarah?
Elizabeth: No. No, it's worse. My sister is perfect in every way. She is kind, she's sincere, she's generous. She's smart and hard-working. She's a doctor, for God's sakes, not to mention she's gorgeous without even trying.
Gia: Yeah, well, if you go for that type of thing.
Elizabeth: Yeah, well, I never met anyone who didn't. Gia, she spreads sweetness and light wherever she goes. She's beloved by men, women, children, and pets.
Gia: You poor thing.
Jax: You're looking quite aggressive.
Skye: What, would you rather I sit back and wait for you to make the first move, huh?
Jax: You're telegraphing. Now, try to be a little more subtle.
Skye: Yeah? Try to stop running.
Jax: No, I'm just getting a feel for your rhythm, you know. Your strength, your weaknesses, your blind spot.
Skye: Oh, I can see quite clearly, thank you very much.
Jax: You're pushing too hard.
Skye: What if I'm bluffing?
Jax: What if I'm not?
Jax: What do you have to say about that?
Jax: "Gotcha"? May I remind you that I am on top of you and you cannot move.
Skye: What if I'm perfectly comfortable where I am?
Jax: Oh. You like feeling powerless?
Skye: You honestly can't feel my power?
Jax: All right, take your right hand, grab my right wrist. That's it. Grab that hand, the top of my arm right there. Now, at the same time, I want you to arch your back and kick up with your right knee.
Jax: That's good. Well, that concludes our -- our lesson for this evening.
Skye: Well, you're certainly better prepared than I thought. I'm going to enjoy sparring with you.
Jax: Well, you're certainly motivated.
Skye: Thanks for the tutorial.
Skye: So much for act one.
Alan: My daughter was wrong. You had nothing to do with my father's heart attack. And Monica and I deeply regret taking her allegations seriously. Melissa, I hold you in the highest regard. You are an excellent nurse.
Melissa: Thank you. But I do want you to know what that really means to me. I became a nurse to care about people, people who are alone or who have been neglected by their family, who are -- they're afraid of treatments that they don't even understand or afraid that their pain is never going to end and they just need someone. You know, they just need another human being with a smile or a joke, a bad joke, or some hope that -- that you can ease the suffering.
Alan: This hospital needs you. Our patients need you.
Melissa: Well, thank you for that. I respectfully withdraw my resignation. Thank you.
Alan: No, thank you, and welcome back.
Melissa: Thanks. I'd like to see your father if I could.
Alan: Well, he's asleep, but you're welcome to go sit with him.
Melissa: All right.
Alan: Excuse me.
Melissa: Thanks. Well, that was a little easier than I thought it was going to be.
Roy: Yeah, well, I mean, who could argue with a speech like that?
Melissa: Okay, I know, I know. I probably seemed a little bit over the top, but, honestly, that is the way I feel.
Roy: Yeah, I get that. You know, I never realized how -- how deeply it bothers you to see people in pain.
Melissa: It does. You know, just because you're a nurse, it doesn't make you impervious to other people's suffering. It just gives you better methods to deal with it.
Roy: Yeah. What do you mean, though? What kind of methods?
Melissa: Like caring. That's what I do. I care. It's my job.
Melissa: My job! I just got it back. Aren't you even going to congratulate me?
Roy: Don't mind me, I'm -- congratulations.
Nikolas: Ice sculptures and mismatched trains aside, the timing wasn't right for the wedding.
Sarah: I could see Elizabeth was hurt when I asked about the wedding. I'm going to find out why, so you might as well just save us all some time and just tell me.
Nikolas: There's nothing to tell, really. It was a mutual decision --
Lucky: It was my fault.
Nikolas: It's a complicated situation. Let's just leave it at that.
Sarah: Not for me. If you hurt my sister or let her down in any way, you and I are no longer friends.
Lucky: Well, then I guess we're not. Because I did both.
Nikolas: No, you didn't, Lucky. Look, Sarah, if you're going to cut anyone off, it should be me. I am the one responsible for what happened to Lucky and Elizabeth.
Gia: Well, if your sister is so great, why didn't you tell her the truth about you and Lucky?
Elizabeth: Because she and Lucky have a past, that's all. And you know what? I really didn't feel like explaining.
Gia: Your sister is Lucky's old girlfriend?
Elizabeth: No. No, no. Lucky had a crush on her. She was in love with Nikolas.
Gia: What? Well, did Nikolas love her back?
Elizabeth: Um -- well, yeah, but --
Sarah: There you are.
Elizabeth: It was a long time ago.
Sarah: Is everything okay?
Gia: Fine. Disaster averted.
Elizabeth: Gia and I were just heading back to the table. Come on.
Sarah: First can I talk to you alone for a second?
Zander: Well, after Emily, you know, I -- I didn't think I would -- I didn't think I would care again. But you set me up on these blind dates, and you made me laugh and forced me to look through 352,000 carpet samples. But you made me care again, Carly. And that means a lot. You've been a great friend.
Carly: Why are you saying it like it's over? Suddenly we're not friends anymore?
Zander: No, no. You're more than that. It's different now. I'm different. I'm start
Sarah: Whatever happened with Lucky and the wedding, you can tell me.
Elizabeth: I will, just not tonight. I can't go over it again, okay?
Sarah: No pressure. I only want to help, Liz.
Elizabeth: God, Sarah, I'm sorry. I'm -- I guess I'm just a little und up right now.
Sarah: I don't blame you. Nothing like your sister appearing from the sky, barging in on your date and saying the exact wrong thing.
Elizabeth: You didn't know.
Sarah: I should have. You're my sister, Lizzie. I love you. You've lived through so much without me. I want to change that, to be a part of your life again. I don't expect this to happen overnight. But will you give me a chance?
Lucky: Well, what, is there some sort of floor show happening in the ladies' room? You guys have been in there most of the night.
Gia: We were in the middle of a very fascinating conversation.
Lucky: Hmm. About what?
Gia: Sorry. Content can't be revealed. After all, women have their secrets, don't they? I know men certainly do. Why don't you ask Nikolas? He'd love to explain about it. Some things you share with your fiance, other things you share with other people.
Nikolas: Waiter? Check.
Kristina: So, Sonny's gone?
Alexis: Mm-hmm. He left a little while ago. You want some popcorn?
Kristina: Oh, no, thanks. Are you all right?
Alexis: Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?
Kristina: No reason. No reason. You know, Sonny just seemed kind of moody today.
Alexis: Sonny is always moody. You just don't cave into the big, brown puppy-dog eyes, and then eventually he apologizes.
Kristina: Sonny apologized to you?
Alexis: Astonishing, isn't it?
Kristina: Do you have any idea why?
Alexis: Sonny doesn't explain himself. He just does what he wants, and apparently today he felt like apologizing to me.
Kristina: Oh. And that's all?
Alexis: That's it.
Kristina: God, I thought you were going to hate me.
Alexis: Hate you for what?
Carly: Are you here to see Zander or me?
Sonny: Both. I knew Carly didn't want a bodyguard, and that's why I sent you. And I trusted you would put her safety in front of everything else, including your own feelings.
Zander: You asked me to be Carly's friend, and I did. But friends don't lie to each other, they don't spy on each other --
Sonny: Okay, now, I didn't ask you to spy. I asked you to make sure she didn't do anything crazy, to give me a chance to help her because I knew she wouldn't come to me herself. Now, I put you in a bad position. You made a judgment call. I don't agree with it, but I -- I respect that, you know, you told me the truth. It was a mistake to fire you. I was worried and lost my temper, you know. So, do you want your job back?
Zander: Part of my job was telling you things that Carly didn't want you to know. I can't do that anymore. Carly trusts me, and I don't want to betray that.
Sonny: Well, your friendship with Carly is your business. I don't expect you to tell me that. I just want you to keep her safe. Now, you know, you've -- you've proven yourself in a short time, and, you know, I'm proud of you. So, do you want your job back?
Carly: Zander, could you give me and Sonny a minute alone?
Zander: Yeah, sure.
[Knock on door]
Skye: Does that -- that last move you tried on me have a name? Because I want to go to the library and study up on some self-defense videos.
Jax: What happened?
Skye: Well, you know, if I'm going to learn to defend myself, I want to do it as quickly as possible.
Jax: Did Sonny threaten you again?
Skye: Well, that depends on what you consider a threat.
Jax: Look at you. You're terrified. Sit down. So, tell me what happened.
Skye: Well, I went back to my room after our lesson here to go take a shower, and it wasn't until I was getting ready to get into bed that I -- I noticed this on my pillow.
Jax: The red queen.
Skye: I take it that's supposed to be me. And I gather that's how I'm supposed to end up. You know, the worst part is whoever did this absconded with my mint.
Jax: Hey, this is no joke.
Melissa: Try to rest, Edward. Everything's going to be just fine.
Edward: No. I won't -- I won't lie here. I will not be helpless.
Melissa: Well, I won't let that happen. I promise I will always take care of you. Even if it comes to that.
Sarah: Where'd Nikolas and Gia go?
Lucky: They left. Which means I've got the both of you to myself. We can take the limo, maybe go out dancing. Something like that.
Elizabeth: Well, actually, I want to take a rain check on that. I was hoping that Sarah and I could go back to my Gram's and stay up all night talking. I know that doesn't sound like a lot of fun, but --
Sarah: If you hadn't suggested it, I was going to.
Sarah: Sorry we're so boring.
Lucky: That's all right. I'll forgive you -- once.
Lucky: But we'll have to go dancing soon.
Sarah: Count on it. I have Gram's car if you want to ride with me.
Elizabeth: Yeah, okay. Thanks for tonight.
Lucky: Yeah. Thank you for coming.
Elizabeth: Good night.
Lucky: Good night.
Gia: How serious were you about Sarah?
Nikolas: She was the first girl I ever loved.
Gia: Well, that was honest.
Nikolas: The operative word being "girl," okay, as in high school crush.
Gia: Well, did you tell her things? Did you confide in her?
Nikolas: Sarah and I broke up after I got shot. There were complications, and, you know, for a little while, I couldn't speak.
Gia: So she bailed on you?
Nikolas: No. No, I didn't want her to see me as helpless or damaged, so I -- shut her out.
Gia: Like you're doing to me?
Nikolas: Gia, my father lied to you. He kidnapped you. Why would you want to sit here and listen to how I feel about him?
Gia: Because I want to listen. I want to know how you feel.
Nikolas: How I feel is that I love you. Okay? And I want to give you the life I promised. A life of freedom and travel. A life of us loving each other and spending time together. Let me make you happy, okay?
Gia: You are my happiness, no matter where we are or what you're going through.
Nikolas: Well, that's good. I'll take that under advisement.
Alexis: Why would I hate you?
Kristina: Well, not "hate," exactly. I mean, "hate" is such a final word. Fury, maybe. Outrage.
Alexis: What could you have possibly done that would outrage me? You walked into the apartment. You live here. It's not a problem. Although you did walk in without having any problem with the lock, which jams for me every time, which is annoying.
Kristina: Alexis --
Kristina: When Sonny blew up at you, I went over to his apartment, and I'm sorry, I just couldn't control myself. I reamed him out for his arrogant attitude, and before I knew it, I was telling him --
Alexis: Good for you! Good for you. He deserves that. You know, he's got a big ego. It's a reality check. Have some popcorn.
Kristina: The thing is, is that I just said some things that I probably shouldn't have. I stuck my nose in your business.
Alexis: You're my sister. You were defending me. How could I be outraged at that? In fact, I love you for it.
Carly: There was a liquor distributor in here the other day. He left some samples if you want a drink.
Sonny: Does it look like I need one?
Carly: Well, I know how hard it is for you to apologize about anything, much less admit that you were wrong.
Sonny: Well, I don't -- I don't think I said I was wrong. I think I said I made a mistake.
Carly: Oh. Just to let you know, a mistake --
Carly: It means you were wrong.
Carly: No, I understand, though. I understand how you could be a little unclear on the concept, since, according to you, you're practically infallible.
Sonny: Not lately.
Carly: Well, you really are working this remorse thing, aren't you?
Sonny: Well, I'm just trying to avoid a fight.
Carly: Me, too.
Sonny: That's a first.
Carly: Okay, not that you deserve one because when I found out that you had Zander spying on me, I pretty much --
Sonny: Well, looking out for you, not spying -- looking out for you.
Carly: Fine. When I found out that you had Zander looking out for me, I was pretty angry and I went ballistic. But when I calmed down, I realized that you look out for the people you love. It's who you are. And most of the time it's pretty wonderful.
Sonny: That's me -- Mr. Wonderful.
Carly: Look, I can't be mad because you want me safe. I just really wish you would respect me to take care of things --
Sonny: I do respect you.
Carly: No, you don't trust that I can take care of myself in a business situation.
Sonny: You were half-owner of a cosmetics company for four months. You locked your partner on the roof. You know what? You should do the same thing to Jax, maybe shove him off?
Carly: Well, maybe I will, if need be.
Sonny: He's using you, Carly.
Carly: Well, if he is, I'll take care of it. Look, I'm going to prove to you and to myself that I can do this. And you're going to realize I'm a lot smarter than you think I am.
Sonny: Maybe one day I'll be smart enough to see what's in front of me. Maybe even smart enough to stop stepping on the feelings of the people who care about me.
Carly: Don't be so -- so tough on yourself, Sonny. You're a good man, getting better by the day.
Zander: Well, are you ready to go?
Carly: Hey. Yeah. But not until you tell me what it was you were going to say before Sonny came on in.
Zander: Oh, it was -- it was nothing. It was nothing. It's just you're my best friend.
Carly: Well, what a coincidence. Because you're mine, too. Let's get out of here.
Jax: Of course this came from Sonny.
Skye: I've made a lot of enemies over the years. You can't be certain that it's from him.
Jax: The hell I can't. I've stood by and watched Sonny destroy someone I care about. I should've paid him back years ago. But she asked me to make peace. So because of her, I -- I turned a blind eye to most of the things that he's done. But I'm not going to stand by and watch him dismantle your life.
Skye: So this is your chance to get back at Sonny, and I'm just the convenient excuse to do so?
Jax: You're a woman who's been threatened. I'm going to find out who did this. I want you to make a list of all the enemies you have. You can start with nursery school, work your way forward. I'm going to check every person on that list and eliminate the suspect.
Skye: This could take a while.
Jax: Okay, well, I'll order room service. Now, if we have to stay up all night, we're going to prove that Sonny's behind the threats. And then I'm going to find a way to stop it.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Gia: Why don't you make the rest of the world just fall away?
Laura: Please tell me what really happened between you and Elizabeth.
Sarah: What went wrong?
Elizabeth: Sure don't waste any time, do you?
Alan: Can I get you something, Father?
Edward: Get me Skye.
Skye: What's going on in that head of yours, Jax?
