Lucky: Talk to me. Tell me how you're feeling.
Ned: I really need to talk to you about something. It's about your sister.
Zander: I can't lean on you for everything, Sonny.
Sonny: You come to me immediately. That's not a request. Take Carly home.
Zander: Sonny, I can do this.
Sonny: Zander, drive Carly home.
Jax: I'm not going to leave you. I'm going to stay right here with you.
Elizabeth: Lucky, we both know the truth, so why do we need to go through this again?
Lucky: Because the truth used to be different.
Elizabeth: Your love for me is gone. I am trying to accept that.
Lucky: Elizabeth, we loved each other as deeply as any two people can. You knew it. We knew it. Everybody else knew it. People envied us because they only hoped that someday they would have love as great as ours.
Elizabeth: You're clinging to something that doesn't even exist.
Lucky: Maybe not. Now, if Helena was able to take my feelings away, who's to say that I can't bring them back? Love is more powerful than anything Helena has.
Elizabeth: That's what we thought. But we were wrong.
Lucky: No, we weren't. We just weren't brave enough to give it a try. Can you do that with me?
Alexis: Kristina's upstairs. I'll go get her. Why don't you come in?
Ned: Alexis, hold on a second. I -- I do want to see your sister.
Alexis: Then you're going to have to let me go upstairs to get her.
Ned: But I want to speak to you first, concerning her.
Alexis: Kristina is capable of making her own decisions.
Ned: Believe me, I know.
Alexis: All right, well, then, let's just leave it at that.
Ned: Alexis, please, just listen to me. I need -- before I do anything, I just need to know how you feel.
Alexis: About what, Ned?
Ned: About seeing Kristina. So can we just discuss this, please?
Zander: Everything looks good outside.
Carly: Good. I spoke with Leticia. She said that Michael played with his trucks. He took a bath and went to bed and no one's bothered them all night.
Zander: Well, it looks like Sonny has everything covered.
Carly: Yeah. Are you okay?
Zander: Yeah, sure. I'm fine. You know, it's late. I'm going to -- I'm going to head home. I'm going to let you get some sleep.
Carly: Hey, hey, hey, wait, wait. I am so sorry you got hurt.
Zander: Well, you have nothing to be sorry about.
Carly: Well, you were defending me.
Zander: What are friends for?
Skye: You don't need to stay with me tonight.
Jax: Well, you know, the person that was at the window might come back.
Skye: I'm sure he left as soon as he saw you.
Jax: Yeah, if he was a peeping tom, probably. But if that person was working for Sonny, he'll be back.
Skye: I'm really not that concerned.
Jax: You heard Sonny's veiled threats at No Name's.
Skye: He probably says all those things just to sound tough.
Jax: Well, you don't know Sonny as well as I do.
Skye: Thanks for the offer, Jax, but I'm really exhausted. I think I'm just going to turn in.
Jax: Well, you do whatever you need to. I'm going to stay around to make sure that person doesn't -- doesn't come back.
Skye: I told you I was getting ready for bed.
Jax: And you do it so well.
Skye: Well, I'm glad you appreciate it.
Jax: You're a beautiful woman, Skye.
Skye: Thank you.
Jax: You're also a woman who's very much aware of her beauty.
Skye: You say that like it's a bad thing.
Jax: No, not at all. It's quite refreshing, actually.
Skye: Well, since you put it like that, I'll tell you I'm satisfied with what I see in the mirror.
Jax: You know exactly what you're doing, don't you?
Skye: You tell me.
Jax: Well, the way you dropped that robe, the moonlight shining through the window, shining onto your body as you moved -- you wanted me to watch you.
Skye: Well, when you put it that way --
Jax: You going to tell me I'm wrong?
Alexis: What you and Kristina do is none of my business.
Ned: A year ago, you and I were planning to spend the rest of our lives together. And now I'm asking you if it's okay to see your sister. So I'm thinking you probably have feelings about that.
Alexis: It's a little awkward.
Ned: Yes, it is. And I want you to know that I wasn't planning on doing this. This is -- this is something that absolutely just happened and --
Alexis: I can see why the two of you may get along. I can also see why the two of you might be good together.
Ned: I'm not rushing into this. I'm -- I'm just taking it one day at a time.
Alexis: That's very wise.
Ned: I'm just thinking the occasional date.
Alexis: Ned, you don't have to justify anything. You don't have to explain anything. In fact, it's probably best if you just stop talking because your private life is your own.
Ned: So you're honestly okay with this?
Alexis: Sure. Kristina?
Alexis: Ned's here. Listen, there's tandoori chicken in the refrigerator. It's a little on the spicy side, but there's always popcorn. And help yourself to the coffee. Kristina made it, so it's -- it's drinkable. I'm going to head out. I'll see you.
Kristina: Alexis, I know what's going on.
Alexis: I told Ned that I was fine with whatever you do or don't do.
Kristina: Well, you don't have to tell me it's fine if it isn't fine.
Zander: Well, anyway, I'm going to go, you know.
Carly: Hey, don't go yet, okay? I've just got to check on Michael and I will be right down, okay?
Zander: All right.
Carly: Just stay.
Sonny: Hey. Is Carly upstairs?
Zander: Yeah. How'd it go with Rosco?
Sonny: Uh, it's handled. He won't threaten Carly anymore.
Zander: I should've helped.
Sonny: I had it covered. There's nothing you could've done.
Zander: Yeah, but I started this whole thing.
Sonny: He was after Carly. If you hadn't been there, who knows what could've happened?
Zander: Yeah, but I didn't stop him.
Sonny: It's taken care of. You're doing a great job looking out for Carly and Michael. This is where I need you to be.
Zander: Uh, Sonny, there's something I got to tell you about me and Carly.
Alexis: Why would I say it was okay if it wasn't okay?
Kristina: Because you love me and you want me to be happy.
Alexis: That's true.
Kristina: You must still have feelings for Ned.
Alexis: I left Ned standing at the altar. I hurt him terribly --
Kristina: And --
Alexis: And if this is a way for him to heal and get over it, it would be selfish of me to feel anything else.
Kristina: I just don't know how you can be so calm and collected.
Alexis: Kristina, I want you to be happy, too, and if the two of you are happy together, then so be it. I'm not going to stand in your way. Now, let's not belabor this anymore and let's all just move on.
Kristina: Where is Sonny?
Alexis: Carly had a problem, so he went off to help.
Kristina: What is the attraction between those two?
Alexis: I have no idea, and that would be none of your business because that's his life. You have your life, I have mine -- speaking of which, I am going to go off and find something new and different to do with mine.
Ned: You all right? Where did Alexis go?
Kristina: Come over here and lift me up off the floor.
Ned: I beg your pardon?
Kristina: Stand behind me and lift me up off the floor.
Ned: Like this?
Kristina: Now lift.
Sonny: You don't want to look after Carly anymore?
Zander: That's right. That's right, but not -- not for the reasons that you think.
Sonny: What do I think?
Zander: That I'm bored, that I want something more important, that Carly's not that important to me. Obviously, she's important. You know what I mean.
Sonny: So, what's the reason?
Zander: Carly's been great to me. She's done me all sorts of favors. She's treated me more like a friend than somebody that -- that works for you.
Sonny: Carly's a good person. Not too many people see that. I'm glad you do.
Zander: That's the problem. That is the problem, that we -- I'm getting to be friends with her, and it's compromising my job.
Zander: Bodyguard has to stay alert.
Zander: You start getting friendly with the person that you're -- you're watching, and all of a sudden you realize that you're not 100% focused on the job. Carly and I, we start talking about Emily, we start talking about the club.
Zander: She starts trying to tell me she's going to hook me up on some date and I get distracted. She says something that's funny -- I mean, because she can be funny -- and I start laughing, and then I realize that I'm not focused on the job.
Sonny: Okay, hold on, hold on. You're not getting this.
Zander: Wait, Sonny, I'm serious about this.
Sonny: No, no, listen. Shh, shh --
Zander: I really think she'd be --
Sonny: No, you're -- you're not getting what your job is. When I asked you to watch Carly, it was because she was into who knew what with Jax. I needed somebody that I trusted that would look out after her, right?
Sonny: Find out what's going on, is she okay. Now, I picked you because I thought you could handle it. Right?
Sonny: Okay, so then Mike pulls her into this Janine thing, I needed you to be on top of that. I needed somebody who could be subtle, who could speak to her in a way she respected, guide her away from her doing anything --
Sonny: You know what I'm saying. Okay? Now, I've counted on you and you've come through, and I appreciate that.
Zander: Thanks. I mean, I'm -- I'm doing my best.
Sonny: I know.
Zander: See, but, Sonny, I mean, I tried to protect her from Rosco. I mean, look what the thugs did to me.
Sonny: Hey, you learned. Right?
Sonny: You didn't pay too high of a price. I need you to keep doing what you're doing. All right? Stay close to Carly and Michael.
Zander: All right.
Sonny: Check in with me tomorrow, will you?
Sonny: Try not to worry too much.
Zander: Oh, my God.
Carly: Hey, I thought heard my -- Sonny. Was he here?
Zander: He was just coming to see what was happening with the deal. Look, I can go get him for you if you want me to.
Elizabeth: You don't have to pity me, Lucky.
Lucky: I would never do that.
Elizabeth: Good. Because I'm okay. I'm not going to fall apart. And if I have to move on, I will.
Lucky: You won't have to. I want to love you again, Elizabeth. Not for you, for me. I remember how great it was. And I'm not just going to sit here and admit that Helena won. I control my own life and I'm going to get it back, but I'm going to need your help to do it.
Elizabeth: And what if it doesn't work?
Lucky: I have an idea. Co with me.
Lucky: Slip your jacket off here take a seat right here.
Elizabeth: Okay, what are we doing, Lucky?
Lucky: Just -- just go with me on this, okay?
Elizabeth: Okay. Thanks.
Lucky: Okay. Sit down.
Skye: You're very good at what you do.
Jax: What's that, exactly?
Skye: Well, seeing people for who they are, keeping an open mind.
Jax: Well, I'm not swayed by preconceived ideas. I pretty much don't care what people think. Neither do you.
Skye: One of the many things we have in common. Who would've guessed. Well, we sure have come a long way, haven't we?
Jax: You were certainly a challenge.
Skye: I thought you liked challenges.
Jax: Oh, I do.
Skye: So do I.
Jax: However --
Jax: There's no quicker way to ruin a friendship.
Skye: Oh, I agree. Never mix business with -- well, anything.
Skye: Of course, one can always forget about business and just think about --
Skye: I think I'll turn in.
Jax: Yes, yes, by all means.
Skye: Just one more question. What about love?
Jax: What about it?
Skye: Well, you say you never mix business with pleasure, but is there anything in your life that mixes with love?
Jax: It's kind of personal. I don't really talk about it.
Skye: Yeah, I know what you mean. I've given up on it myself. I just wondered.
Skye: You said to me that you felt like you'd never open up your heart again. Are you still so sure about that?
Lucky: Ahem. Sorry to interrupt. I just -- I couldn't help but noticing you from over there, and I was -- if you'd like to me leave, I will. Excuse me.
Elizabeth: No. No, it's fine.
Lucky: Good. Oh, well. I'd better talk fast before your boyfriend gets here, then, huh?
Elizabeth: I don't have a boyfriend.
Lucky: No way.
Elizabeth: Lucky, I don't think this is going to work. I don't like doing this.
Lucky: Elizabeth, I messed up. Give me a chance to fix it.
Elizabeth: But it wasn't you. You didn't mean for this to happen.
Lucky: Exactly. Since I didn't want to lose my love, who's to say that I can't get it back?
Elizabeth: By playing games?
Lucky: It's not a game. It's real. I want to make it real. We can imagine that we're meeting for the first time. Nothing bad has happened. Our love is about to begin. We can make new hopes and dreams, and nothing will get in the way of them. I think it'll work. I really do.
Elizabeth: All right. I -- I guess it's worth a try.
Lucky: Hi. Lucky. Lucky Spencer. How about you?
Elizabeth: Elizabeth Webber.
Lucky: Well, Elizabeth Webber, it's very nice to meet you.
Carly: Sonny didn't come to see me, so I will pass on running after him.
Zander: Well, he knew you were up with Michael.
Carly: Yeah. You know, I'm not going to make a fool out of myself. He's obviously got something going on with Alexis.
Zander: See, you keep saying that, but I just don't see it.
Carly: Yeah? Well, you didn't see him when I went over to tell Sonny that you needed help. You think that he really needed some legal advice at that hour? I don't think so.
Zander: I just -- I don't see it.
Carly: Does Sonny confide in you about his love life?
Carly: There you go.
Zander: I still don't buy him with Alexis. Anyway, you know what? I'm going to head out.
Carly: All right. Will you do me a favor real quick?
Carly: Can you put this box on the top shelf for me?
Carly: Zander -- you have a broken rib, don't you?
Zander: No, no, it's just -- it's just bruised.
Carly: You can barely move without grimacing. It probably hurts to breathe. You know what? I am taking you to the hospital.
Zander: No, no. I'm fine.
Carly: Okay, then I'll take you to the clinic.
Zander: No, Carly, I'm not going, all right? I just need to rest.
Carly: Fine. But you're not going home. You can stay here tonight.
Alexis: Okay. I have a large I.Q. How hard can this be? Put this on here, right? And then you just -- you just -- you walk. All right -- hello? Help. I don't know how to turn -- I don't -- oh!
Scott: Whoa, hey, come here. You're going to need a cheap lawyer. You all right?
Alexis: I don't need any commentary, okay, Scott?
Scott: What are you doing here?
Alexis: I saw an ad for a new health club and I decided to join a -- a health club.
Scott: What are you really doing here?
Alexis: I'm working out my stress, okay?
Ned: My God, are your shoes made of lead?
Kristina: Feels like it, doesn't it?
Ned: Okay, I'm in pretty good shape and you can't be any more than 90 pounds, so how did you do that?
Kristina: Aikido. I center my mind and that makes me grounded, immovable.
Ned: Hmm. And your point other than spraining my back would be --
Kristina: Well, it's what I had to do, actually. Because you went and threw my sister into a mass of confusion by bringing up the subject of you and me. Even though there isn't even a "you and me."
Ned: And she's my ex-fiance, so I get to have a say in this, too.
Kristina: Without running it by me first?
Ned: Look, we have a history together, okay, that you know nothing about.
[Knock on door]
Sonny: Hi. Is Courtney around?
Kristina: No, she's sleeping.
Sonny: Can I speak to Alexis?
Kristina: Well, to do that, you would have to go and yell out the window. She's not here right now.
Sonny: Where is she?
Kristina: I don't know.
Sonny: Is she okay?
Kristina: That is a good question.
Ned: Alexis is off duty tonight. I guess she didn't know her job is 24/7.
Kristina: Ned, would you excuse us for a second, please? Sonny, have you have ever heard the Brazilian tale of the crocodile and the monkey?
Sonny: The what?
Kristina: The crocodile and the monkey are best friends. But the crocodile wants to eat the monkey's heart, so the monkey, to trick him, tells the crocodile that he left his heart at home. The moral of the story is, you can't have it both ways.
Sonny: What did you just say?
Kristina: I mean, I'm talking about you and Alexis.
Sonny: Oh. Which one's the monkey?
Kristina: Alexis -- my sister is your attorney, correct?
Kristina: She also is a very close friend of yours, if not one of your best friends. Correct?
Sonny: Is this leading somewhere?
Kristina: You can't treat your attorney like your best friend, just like you can't treat your best friend like your attorney.
Kristina: I don't want you taking my sister for granted anymore.
Sonny: Are you finished?
Kristina: Think about what I said.
Sonny: Good night.
Kristina: If you're waiting for an invitation to go eat that tandoori chicken, go right ahead.
Ned: I'll pass. Knowing Alexis, it's probably sprouting fuzzy, green mold. Look, we both care about Alexis. And I know you're not happy about me coming over here and speaking to her about us. But I -- I just didn't want her to have a problem with --
Ned: Well, with whatever happens next between us.
Kristina: And that would be what?
Ned: We'll just find out as we go.
Ned: See you tomorrow.
Sonny: Come on, Alexis. Where are you?
Scott: Price tag is hanging out of your new sweat suit.
Alexis: You're enjoying this, aren't you?
Scott: There is a certain entertainment value. So, did that pint-sized mobster finally make you an accessory and you're working out to get your sanity back?
Alexis: I'm not at liberty to discuss half-pint.
Scott: Well, I'll take that as a yes. Watch out, don't break a nail.
Alexis: I'm exercising because I feel like exercising, okay?
Scott: No more questions.
Alexis: What little success are you trying to forget at this hour?
Scott: You know, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Alexis: All right, all right. Let's just sweat, okay?
Scott: I'm done sweating.
Alexis: Fine. Give me your gloves.
Scott: What for?
Alexis: I want to hit something.
Scott: Well, boxing is a sport, you know. It takes practice.
Alexis: How hard can it be to hit an oblong bag?
Scott: Well, you know, you got to jab and protect. Jab, protect, jab, protect.
Alexis: What am I protecting myself from? What, is the bag going to hit me back?
Scott: You never know what hits back.
Alexis: Give me the gloves.
Scott: Knock yourself out.
Alexis: I probably will. I can do this. Watch me. There, see? This feels kind of good. This feels new, this feels different. I'm new and different -- you know what? It's not politically correct to actually hit a person. But if you picture that person's face on the bag and just kick the crap out of it --
Scott: Hey, hey, whoa. Come on, whoa. Calm down, calm down, there, champ. Just -- you're getting carried away here. Did it make you feel better?
Alexis: I hate exercising.
Scott: I love it. It's a great place to pick up chicks.
Alexis: I have an idea.
Scott: I'm all ears.
Alexis: Why don't you and I go out on a date?
Scott: What, are you joking?
Alexis: As friends.
Scott: I got enough friends.
Alexis: No one has enough friends.
Scott: Well, maybe, I don't know. I've been known to get along with you.
Alexis: And I respect you professionally, except for a few undesirable clients.
Scott: Well, you got to have them.
Alexis: All right, so, when do you want to go out on this ersatz date?
Scott: Well, let's see. Sadie Hawkins Day is coming up, so why don't you pick it, Daisy Mae?
Alexis: How about tomorrow, Li'l Abner?
Scott: I think I'm available.
Alexis: Are you available the day after tomorrow?
Scott: I think I might be in.
Alexis: I bet you're available the day after that day --
Scott: All right, I'm available!
Alexis: Okay. Deal.
Scott: Let me help you up. It's all right.
Alexis: That's funny.
Carly: Let me get some antiseptic on that cut.
Zander: Well, is it going to sting?
Carly: That from the guy walking around with two broken ribs? Okay.
Zander: Okay, I can take it.
Carly: There. Was that so bad?
Zander: That was nothing.
Carly: Yeah. Now, hold still, okay?
Zander: You know, you don't have to do this.
Carly: Yeah, I do. Think of it as my way of thanking you for all that you've done.
Zander: You don't owe me anything.
Carly: Yeah. You've been terrific, Zander. Stop being so modest. Let's get you to bed.
Jax: Why have you given up on love?
Skye: The short version? Love hurts too much.
Jax: Doesn't have to.
Skye: People say there's a soul mate out there for everyone. Well, if that's the truth, then mine is definitely in hiding.
Jax: Well, you never know.
Skye: I've had my share of relationships. It's always the same story. Either you fall for men who are too good for you or you fall for men who aren't good enough, and -- well, it's same old thing. Finally, your heart gets torn and shredded enough and you realize that there's too much scarring to feel anything at all.
Jax: Well, obviously, you've never experienced real love.
Skye: Oh, please, don't tell me you're one of those old-fashioned romantics.
Jax: No, not at all. I just know it exists.
Skye: I believed in the tooth fairy once. Then I grew up.
Jax: Skye, I've had real love. And it's amazing. The person you love becomes such a part of your life that it's the most wonderful thing in the world. You would do anything for each other. And you never want to be apart. I can't imagine ever feeling like that again.
Skye: Well, that's all really great to hear about, but in the end you're still here with me, just as alone.
Elizabeth: Have you ever had a pet?
Lucky: I had a goat once.
Elizabeth: A goat?
Lucky: Yeah. Yeah, we lived in Turkey at the time, and this goat used to follow me to school all the time. And, well, my dad thought it was cute and so he said, "Bring him on over to the house," and he used to sleep curled up next to me at the bed. Only this goat had a problem. He liked to eat. He would eat a lot. He would eat anything and everything.
Lucky: Oh, yeah. My dad had this box of cigars -- this collection of Cuban cigars that he bought on the black market.
Elizabeth: The goat ate all the cigars?
Lucky: Bos and all. Dad shouted something in Turkish, banished my goat out to the yard, you know -- you know something? I don't think I've ever told anybody that story before.
Elizabeth: Well, it sounds like your life has been full of stories like that.
Lucky: We weren't the typical suburban family. You know, maybe I'm coming on too strong. But I was -- I was hoping -- you know, maybe we could see each other again? Maybe tomorrow?
Jax: I thought you said you were tired.
Skye: Yeah, it's been a long day.
Jax: Yeah. I'll just -- I'll just crash on the chair.
Skye: Oh, I'm sure if you keep the terrace doors locked, I'll be fine.
Jax: Well, you know, I'd just feel better if -- if I knew that you felt safe, so I'll -- I'm not going to disturb you, okay?
Skye: All right. You don't snore or anything?
Jax: No, no, not that I've been told. How about yourself?
Skye: Of course I dont.
Jax: Well, it shouldn't be a problem, then. Should work out nicely.
Skye: Good night, Jax.
Jax: Good night, Skye.
Carly: That should keep you warm enough.
Zander: You know what?
Zander: I have to sit up.
Carly: You know, you really should get an x-ray in the morning.
Zander: No, I'm fine. I'm fine. You mind if we watch some TV?
Carly: Oh. To distract you from the pain?
Zander: You don't let up, do you?
Carly: No. And yes, you can watch TV.
Zander: Thanks. You know, you don't -- you don't have to stay.
Carly: Well, yeah.
[TV turns on]
Carly: I'm going to stay with you until you drift asleep. It's the least I can do.
Announcer: Overnight flurries will increase with total accumulations of three inches. Tonight's low near 15. Scattered snow squall activity tomorrow.
Sonny: Yuck. Who could eat this stuff?
Sonny: Oh, whoa, whoa. Yeah? She's on her way up? Good.
Alexis: Well, here we are.
Scott: I'll see you tomorrow.
Sonny: How's it going?
Alexis: Good. That is, if I can walk after the -- my encounter with the thigh machine.
Scott: Well, maybe you should try something easier -- a little skipping rope and then move up to the calf machine.
Alexis: That sounds like a farm implement.
Scott: Well, it looks like one.
Sonny: "Skipping rope." Ugh.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Gia: Why are you trying so hard not to tell me what's hurting you?
Stefan: Come to Wyndemere. It's important.
Alan: I got rid of Skye. I threw her out. Things are going to be different.
Skye: Would you like to come to bed?
