(Lucky finds a bruised and battered Elizabeth in the bushes and brings her back to his house; Bobbie gives Elizabeth support and medical advice; Ned and Alexis celebrate Valentineís Day and make love.

Helena: Nikolas! My darling.  Oh, I'm sorry to come up on you unannounced, but I just couldn't wait another moment. You would like me to state my business and leave. Very well. I have come to offer you the gift of truth. Nikolas, if you own it, you can make decisions accordingly. Your uncle lives his life not by his allegiance to the family nor his commitment to the future. Stefan answers only to his obsession.

Alexis: Thank you very much.

Waiter: Ok.

Alexis: Hello there.

Ned: How did you know it was me?

Alexis: The umbrella. I'd recognize that anywhere.

Ned: Hmm.

Alexis: I take it it's raining?

Ned: Well, I have reason to believe there's a strong possibility.

Alexis: You're hiding something back there, aren't you?

Ned: You see, that's what I hate about you clever types. It's almost impossible to surprise you.

Alexis: I'm surprised. Really. Look at me. Why don't you come in and show me what you have?

Ned: [Clears throat] Welcome to our annual valentine's date. An occasion marked by flowers...candy, and of course, the traditional mystery gift.

Alexis: I didn't realize we had an annual valentine's date.

Ned: Now we do.

[Elizabeth gasping] [Gasping continues]

Lucky: Who's there?

[Elizabeth gasping]

Lucky: Oh, my God. What the hell happened to you? Elizabeth, are you ok?

[Elizabeth gasping]

Lucky: Elizabeth, it's lucky. It's-- are you all right?

Elizabeth: I'm--I'm--

Lucky: Are you ok?

[Elizabeth stammering and gasping]

Lucky: It's ok, it's ok, it's ok. Ok, come on.

Elizabeth: [Stammering] The shoe--the shoe came off and then I can't get it back on. It got broken. I can't--

Lucky: Be careful.

Elizabeth: I can't get my shoe back on.

Lucky: It's ok, it's ok, that's something I can fix, ok? Ok? Here. Come on.

[Elizabeth gasping]

Lucky: Tell me who did this to you.

Elizabeth: [Stammering] I don't know. I don't know. My grams' bracelet. I've got to go get my grams' bracelet!

Lucky: Elizabeth, that's not important right now.

Elizabeth: I must have lost--no, you don't understand! My grandfather gave her this bracelet, it means the world to her!

Lucky: We'll find it, ok, I promise. I promise. First we have to get the cops, ok?

Elizabeth: No.

Lucky: We have to get you to the hospital, ok?

Elizabeth: No! [Gasping]

Lucky: Ok. Somebody... somebody slapped you around a little. That much I can see. I just want to help you. Ok?

Elizabeth: You can't. You can't help me.

Lucky: I--I'm getting you out of here, ok? That's all I want to do.

Elizabeth: I can't go home. I can't go home right now.

Lucky: Don't worry. Listen, listen. I will take care of you.

[Elizabeth gasping and crying]

Lucky: Ok. Ok. Ok. It's ok. It's ok. Come on. Come on. Come on. It's ok. It's ok, don't worry. Foster's big but he's friendly, ok? Besides, you're with me. Only thing, by the way, no one else is home. You can have a seat if you want. Um... you want some--some water? Do you want me to get you anything to drink?

Elizabeth: Um, can I--can I use your bathroom? I would like to clean up.

Lucky: That's the thing, Elizabeth, I'm not sure if you should wash up or anything until you've been examined.

Elizabeth: I'm not going to a hospital. I'm fine.

Lucky: No, you're not, ok? You could have been hurt. Inside.

Elizabeth: I said no.

Lucky: Ok, ok, no hospitals. I can work with that. Ok, but can we compromise? I can call my aunt Bobbie. Ok? She's the head surgical nurse at general hospital. You can trust her. She can come over and look at you here. She won't say a word if you don't want her to.

Elizabeth: Where's Sarah?

Lucky: I left Sarah at Kelly's with dean. If you-- you need to put something dry on, ok? Here, put this on, ok?

Elizabeth: Ok.

Lucky: Ok. I'm going to call. Hi, this is lucky Spencer, Bobbie Spencer's nephew. I need to speak to her right away, please. Well, do you have any idea how long? She's closing up? Ok, ok, thank you. All right, listen, if I run over there, then I can probably catch her when she comes out of surgery and I can bring her back here. Ok? Will you be all right for 15 or 20 minutes by yourself? I will lock you up tight. Foster will not let anyone near you if I tell him not to.

Elizabeth: I would like some time alone. You know.

Lucky: Ok. Well, if you're hungry, get something in the kitchen. If you need to lie down or anything, my room's at the top of the stairs.

Elizabeth: Ok.

Lucky: You sure?

Elizabeth: Ok.

Lucky: I can just stay here if you don't want me to go. Ok? I can just keep calling.

Elizabeth: No, no, I'm fine, I'm fine. Just hurry back, ok?

Lucky: You got it. Foster. I want you to keep an eye on her, ok? I'm counting on you. I'll be back.

Helena: Nikolas. Nikolas, it's not smart to walk away from knowledge of your uncle. Stefan has been dishonest with you from the beginning. And he didn't stop when you ended up in this-- [Scoffs] This Godforsaken town. His coming to Port Charles had nothing to do with your involvement with that little Spencer girl's unfortunate situation. And the reason he stays is certainly not that-- that bell woman. [Chuckles] A pale substitute for Laura.

Alexis: There.

Ned: Perfect. You have a good eye.

Alexis: You think? No one's ever said that to me before. Indiscriminate flower arranging was frowned upon in the Cassadine compound. You always hear that in quotation marks. I loved doing it, so I usually couldn't help myself. I think it has something to do with the ratio between space and matter and... you really need to stop me when I go on like this. In certain situations, I have a tendency to just get on a roll, and it ends up being a crashing bore.

Ned: [Chuckles] You see, that's what baffles me about you.

Alexis: What?

Ned: I think you're one of the most fascinating women I've ever met. And the fact that you could entertain the notion, even for a moment, that you could be anything less than spectacular, I just don't understand.

Alexis: I really like you.

Ned: Then why are you so far away? Come here. Come here.

Alexis: Where's my present?

Ned: Oh, yes. I almost forgot. Sit down. [Clears throat] Alexis Davis... I humbly present to you the world.

Alexis: You expect me to believe you fit the entire world into this box?

Ned: Well, I had to improvise, but I think I did all right.

Alexis: Oh, my. It is the entire world. Alaskan woods... California beaches, Nordic summer nights, the rainforests...I love this.

Ned: You like it?

Alexis: No, I love this.

Ned: Shall we visit?

Alexis: Where do you want to go first?

Ned: You decide.

[Heart beating]

Ned: Now, that's a sound that I am...intimately familiar with. I hear it right now. It pounds whenever I'm this close to you.

Alexis: Ah, go on. No, really, go on.

Ned: Pick some place.

[Rain falling]

Alexis: Oh, I like that.

Ned: Let's stay there for a while. That's nice. Now lean back here. That's right. Ahh. Relax. Comfortable?

Alexis: Mm-hmm.

Ned: Close your eyes. Now where are we?

Alexis: It's not the rainforest.

Ned: No.

Alexis: It's a one-room cottage... very small village somewhere near the French Alps. And there are no phones, no faxes, no modems... nothing electronic.

Ned: Is there a bed?

Alexis: It's right in the middle of the room. It's a fluffy bed and down comforters. Right in front of a roaring fireplace.

Ned: And... are we lovers?

Alexis: Not yet.

Ned: What could we possibly be thinking of?

Alexis: I was thinking maybe you were doing too much thinking.

[Kissing]

[Door opening]

Elizabeth: No! No! No! No! No, no, no!

Luke: Hold on! It's ok. It's me, Luke. Luke Spencer. Lucky's dad, remember? I'm sorry, I... but nobody's going to hurt you.

Elizabeth: I'm... Mr. Spencer?

Luke: Yeah. Yeah, and you're Lizzie, right? Yeah, sure. It's ok.

[Elizabeth gasping]

Luke: So, uh, where's Lucky? Is he upstairs, or--

Lucky: I saw your car, I was hoping you didn't scare her.

Luke: Well, yeah, I scared her, and she scared me, but I think we're over it, aren't we, Lizzie?

Elizabeth: Yeah.

Luke: Bobbie.

Bobbie: I understand you're having a pretty rough night. You ok?

Elizabeth: Yeah.

Lucky: She got jumped in the park, dad.

Bobbie: First of all, are you in any pain?

Elizabeth: Pain? I hurt all over, if that's what you mean.

Bobbie: Elizabeth, I'd like to know what happened. Uh, we can go upstairs if you want.

Elizabeth: I was walking through the park, and--and this guy, he came up from behind me. He grabbed me, he hit me, he threw me to the ground. My grams' bracelet, he broke my grams' bracelet.

Bobbie: All right, listen, we're going to go upstairs so I can tend to some of these cuts. And the rest can wait. Come on.

Luke: [Exhales] Lucky? Talk to me. What happened?

Lucky: She... she was raped, dad. She... she hasn't said it, but I-- I know it. She was supposed to meet me at the dance, but she never showed. So I went looking for her.

Luke: You found her in the park? It happened in the park? Where?

Lucky: She just kind of staggered out from the bushes. She looked bad, Man. So bruised and muddy and blood on her legs. You know, it's like...[Sighs] Her dress was ripped. There was one shoe in her hand. You know, the worst thing was her eyes. They looked like Grandma's used to. Like something so awful had happened...they just couldn't bear to know it. And it's still in there, Dad. It's...that look, it's still in there. Can you see it?

Luke: Yeah, I saw it.

Bobbie: Oh, jeez. I'm sorry if this hurts.

Elizabeth: I don't really feel anything.

Bobbie: Well, unfortunately, these bruises are going to get a lot worse before they get better.

Elizabeth: My face...

Bobbie: Oh, it's beautiful. Not a mark.

Elizabeth: Oh, good. Just as long as no one can see.

Bobbie: Then it's like it never happened? Oh, honestly, Elizabeth. I really wish you hadn't taken that shower.

Elizabeth: I had to. I was just...I was dirty, ok? I was dirty.

Bobbie: Can you tell me what happened?

Elizabeth: I already did.

Bobbie: Some of it, yeah, but maybe not all of it.

[Elizabeth sighs]

Bobbie: Ok, all right, listen, I'm sorry, but I have to go in my professional mode right now, ok? You don't have to say anything. Just sit there and listen. When a woman has been raped, she needs very special, very specific attention paid-- to her feelings, because she's been traumatized. And to her body, because she may have been hurt. That's the most important thing. Coming up a very close second is that there's more than likely forensic evidence to be found. But what's done is done. We'll go with what we've got.

Elizabeth: I know where you're going with this. You want me to have an examination.

Bobbie: Yes, I do, Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: I can't.

Bobbie: Honey...

Elizabeth: I can't. Do you understand? I can't be touched like that. I would rather die.

Bobbie: [Exhales] Ok. I, um, I came prepared for any eventuality, because I promised my nephew I would take good care of you. What I need for you to understand is, I could get in big trouble for what I'm about to do. This is medication commonly known as the morning after pill. It prevents the possibility of pregnancy. And it's doctor prescribed to sexual assault victims, which means I'm not authorized, but I'm giving it to you anyway. The instructions are very clear and simple, if you decide you want to take it.

Elizabeth: Thank you.

Bobbie: Ok. Well... I guess you're all set. You want me to call Audrey?

Elizabeth: No. She expects me home late because of the dance. She won't be worried yet.

Bobbie: You are going to tell her?

Elizabeth: No.

Bobbie: Oh, Elizabeth... please reconsider. You're going to need her help to get through this.

Elizabeth: To get through what? I haven't admitted to anything. And I never will, if you bring my grandmother into this. [Sighs] Whatever happened in that park tonight happened to me. Ohh. I decide it or don't.

Helena: Think about it. He ceased his world travels without a second thought in order to come and skulk around the island after her when she was married to your father. And he moved to Port Charles within the blink of an eye when he realized that she was vulnerable to him. And I suspect that you will be moving again soon. To North Carolina this time. Laura is back in the States.

Lucky: I don't get it. I just can't wrap my mind around it. Dad, what kind of guy... drags some girl out of the night and forces her to have sex with him? While she's kicking and screaming and fighting-- why?

Luke: You'll never understand it. Don't even try.

Lucky: I have to do something, though. Elizabeth is my friend. I have to.

Luke: But I think you are, lucky. You are. You're standing by her, and you're not asking her to explain anything. Don't push her. Let her find her own way. She's going to have some very tough days ahead.

Bobbie: Liz would like a coat.

Lucky: How is she?

Bobbie: Uh, she's, uh, she's pretty banged up, but she's ok. Physically, at least.

Luke: Did she say any more about the attack?

Bobbie: So far she'll only admit the guy hit her.

Lucky: She can't say it. You know what really happened, don't you, Bobbie?

Bobbie: Yeah. But it doesn't matter. If Elizabeth doesn't want to admit she was raped, we can't force her to. Any more than we can make her go to the hospital or go file a police report, or not go home and tell Audrey what a ducky time she had at the dance. So she's as fixed as she's going to get tonight. The only thing left to do is respect her wishes.

Luke: Would you like us to drive you home?

Elizabeth: No, I called a cab. Thanks, though. You've all been really nice. I have one more thing to ask. Please don't mention this to my grandmother.

Lucky: That's another subject for another time.

[Horn honks]

Lucky: Right now I just want to get you home.

Bobbie: Elizabeth, you can call me, day or night, ok?

Elizabeth: Thanks.

Luke: Something on your mind?

Bobbie: Nothing you want to hear.

Luke: How do you know? Try me.

Bobbie: Ok. How's this-- you make me sick.

Alexis: Do you think it was incredibly brilliant or unbelievably stupid that we waited this long?

Ned: Incredibly brilliant.

Alexis: Really? Why is that?

Ned: Well, because enough time went by so that we knew that once we made love, neither one of us would bolt towards the door.

Alexis: You're right. Right, that is incredibly brilliant. This is working out amazingly well.

Ned: [Chuckles] And it's only the beginning. I wish you could see yourself the way I see you right now. How beautiful you are. How feminine. How strong. You take my breath away.

Helena: I'm sorry if anything I've said tonight causes you pain. I'll leave you now, knowing full well that you will report everything to Stefan, who will deny all. But no matter. You're all that-- all that concerns me. Take care, my darling.

Nikolas: Stay away from me.

Helena: Oh, my God. My God, Nikolas, you can speak! Well, that's splendid. And if your antipathy towards me gives you the motivation, then, oh, then I'm delighted to be of service. Oh, I love you, my darling. More than you'll ever know.

Elizabeth: I'll get your shirt back to you as soon as I've had the chance to wash it.

Lucky: Think I care about a stupid shirt right now? Keep it. Throw it away. It doesn't matter. This shouldn't have happened to you, Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: I'm really tired.

Lucky: Yeah. Ok.

Elizabeth: Thanks for finding me.

Lucky: I just--I just wish that-- we could have met at the dance like we planned, is all. Look, I want to find that bracelet. I'm going to make it a priority.

Elizabeth: I better go inside.

Lucky: Ok, listen, once you get some rest... maybe you'll feel a little more normal.

Elizabeth: I don't know what I would have done if...

Lucky: Don't say anything, ok? Just get some rest, ok?

Elizabeth: Ok.

[Lucky exhales]

Elizabeth: Ahh. Gram, I told you not to do this.

Audrey: Oh, I'm sorry. I couldn't help it, Elizabeth. And I categorically deny spying. I want to make that very clear. Well, maybe I did happen to glance out the window, all right? And it's possible that I was looking for you. But either way, I could have sworn I saw Lucky walking you up the path. Was the dance divine?

Elizabeth: Yeah.  It was divine. Can I give you details in the morning, though, Grandma? 'Cause I'm just really wiped.

Audrey: Oh, dear, there really is a flu bug going around. I hope you're not coming down with anything.

Elizabeth: Just let me sleep for a week, and I'll be fine.

Audrey: Well, then, I'll let Gatsby out, and I'll be right up myself. But do sleep well, sweetheart.

Elizabeth: Yeah, sure. [Gasping]

Luke: Look, Barbara, you want to hate me, ok, I can live with that. Just keep me up to date. Are we still on Carly?

Bobbie: Excuse me, but I have no desire to be here with you right now.
