Episode #13963 ~ Ciara has a surprising reunion. Shawn and Ben search for Ciara. Claire takes action after learning that Charlie could get away with his crimes. Abigail asks Gabi to team up with her to bring down Gwen.
Abigail: I'm really glad we ran into each other today.
Proofread By Niki
Gabi: Really? Why?
Abigail: Because we need to talk.
Gabi: No, we don't.
Abigail: Chad told me that he apologized to you.
Gabi: Oh, yeah. Of accusing me of putting the drug in your champagne? Yeah, he
managed to spit out a few half-hearted words of regret. Of course, it was the
least he can do since I'm completely innocent.
Abigail: I feel really bad for what you went through, Gabi. I know what it's
like to be accused of something that you didn't do.
Gabi: Okay, wow. I'm sorry. Your parents never taught you how to apologize?
Because you really suck at it.
Gwen: I thought you didn't read the rags.
Charlie: I'm actually reading about you, Gwen. It says they found a dead lady in
your hotel room.
Charlie: Did you kill her? Are you "Gwen Rizczech: Skull Cracker"?
Gwen: Are you "Charlie Dale: Illiterate idiot"? I told the police it was an
Charlie: Then why did they question you?
Gwen: Come on, Charlie. You of all people should know that, when you speak to
the police, it doesn't mean that you've done anything wrong.
Belle: [Clears throat] So Ben thinks he has a psychic connection to Ciara.
Claire: Right. And he thinks that Ciara is reaching out to him.
Belle: Okay. Reaching out how?
Claire: A bunch of ways. Like, the other night, Ben ordered Chinese food, which
was Ciara and his favorite. But he couldn't open the fortune cookie because he
couldn't imagine a future without Ciara in it.
Belle: Oh, that's so sad.
Claire: Except later, out of nowhere, their wedding picture fell right on top of
the cookie. And it said, "nothing is ever lost if you follow your heart." Ben
thinks it's a message from Ciara.
Belle: Honey, I think that sounds more like a coincidence.
Claire: Okay, fine. Then listen to this. Last night Ben had a dream that he and
Ciara acted out "Romeo and Juliet."
Belle: Okay, well, you know, it was Valentine's Day, and that could make sense.
Claire: Ben's never read the play. So how did he suddenly know all of the lines?
Belle: I don't know. Maybe he saw the movie.
Claire: That's what I thought. Well, it turns out he hasn't, but Ciara has, and
she knew every single line of that play. That is how Ben knew... because they're
Belle: Okay. Sweetheart, I know that Ben and Ciara shared a really deep bond.
But I think what you're describing is a man who is having a really hard time
accepting that his wife is gone.
Claire: Ben doesn't accept it, especially since Ciara called him on the phone.
Belle: I'm sorry, what?
Claire: It was a terrible connection, and they got cut off. But Ben swears it
was Ciara's voice. Mom... Ben is convinced that Ciara is alive.
Ben: Are we sure this is where this Rhodes guy lives?
Shawn: It's the last known address.
Ben: Then Ciara could be on the other side of this door.
Shawn: [Whispering] Stay behind me. On three. One...two...
Rhodes: You don't need to know any more than I've already told you. Look, the
players may have changed, but... nothing's changed for you. You're still a
prisoner, and no one is coming to save you...
[Door thuds open loudly]
[Coughs and groans]
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the "Days of our Lives."
Ciara: Who's there? Ben? Oh, my God, Ben, is that you?
Shawn: Police! Allen Rhodes, come out with your hands up!
Ben: Ciara! He's not here. Nobody's here.
Shawn: I'll go see what I can find out.
Ciara: Ben, I've been trying to reach you for so long. Please. Please, dear God,
let it be you.
Evan: Hey, Ciara. Remember me?
Gabi: Repeat after me, two little words-- "I'm sorry."
Abigail: I'm sorry. But I also want you to know that I was never 100% sure that
you were actually the person who drugged me. I always had a little bit of a
nagging feeling that something didn't add up.
Gabi: And what did you do about this "nagging feeling"? Did you tell the police
not to arrest me? Did you tell Will and Sonny not to rip into me about what it
would do to Arianna if I went back to prison. Hmm? Did you tell your husband,
Chad, to stop harassing me... even after I was exonerated in court?
Abigail: I wish that I had done something.
Gabi: You wish? [Scoffs]
Abigail: But, Gabi, you need to understand that I was absolutely petrified back
then. I thought that I was losing my mind. I thought that I was gonna be taken
away from my family, my home, my kids for who knows how long.
Gabi: I don't care. Abigail, you think that was all my fault?
Abigail: No, I don't. And I'm sorry that I ever thought it was. And I know that
I'm saying all of this way too late. But, Gabi, I do mean it.
Gabi: I mean, your apology still sucks. But it's better than Chad's.
Abigail: I know Chad was hard on you. But he is not the person responsible for
putting you through hell. That honor belongs to Gwen.
Charlie: If you say you didn't bash that lady's head in, I believe you.
Gwen: Do you?
Charlie: Just like I believe you were some poor innocent nanny who was taken
advantage of by her boss. First, a sex scandal, now murder. What's next?
Gwen: [Sighs] Well, I could ask you the same thing, couldn't I, Charlie? The
last time we had a lovely little chat, you'd kidnapped your mother and drugged
her. Now it turns out, you're also a rapist.
Claire: Ben thinks that Ciara is reaching out to him because she's in trouble.
Mom, this isn't denial, I swear, or wishful thinking. Ciara is alive. And that's
why Ben's gonna check it out.
Belle: Check it out? What does that mean?
Claire: Ben and I have been brainstorming, and we think that Ciara got out of
the car before it exploded.
Belle: Honey, they found her DNA and her wedding rings inside the car.
Claire: I know. But they didn't find her.
Belle: Well, that's true. There were no remains.
Claire: Because she escaped.
Belle: Where did she go?
Claire: That is what we're trying to figure out. We think that someone has taken
Ciara and is holding her against her will, and that's why she hasn't come home.
Belle: Well, the only person that would want to hold Ciara captive is Vincent
Belman, and he's in prison.
Claire: Exactly. So, it can't be him. But it also makes zero sense that some
random person would just take Ciara. So, it's got to be someone who is connected
to Vincent, which is why Ben has gone to Statesville to talk to him.
Belle: Vincent has only ever tortured Ben, toyed with him, played games with
him. Why would this be any different?
Claire: It might not be, Mom. But after that phone call, I think it's worth a
shot. Look, if Ciara really is alive, Vincent is the only person that can tell
us where she is.
Belle: Claire, I... I just don't want you to get your hopes up.
Claire: I know. I know. I'm just praying that Ben finds something, just any kind
of clue at all.
Ben: [Groans] Damn it! Just got to find something. Come on! Did you find
Shawn: No, I talked to the neighbor. She confirmed that this is Rhodes's
apartment, but he moved out months ago.
Ben: Where did he go?
Shawn: She doesn't know. She said he just disappeared. Nobody's lived here since
Ben: September? That's when Ciara went missing. What if--what if Rhodes moved
out because he was ordered to get Ciara and take her someplace else?
Shawn: That is possible. The question is, where?
Ciara: Christian Maddox. [Scoffs]
Evan: I prefer Evan.
Ciara: What the hell are you doing here? Is he...?
Evan: Dead? Very. Sorry about all the blood.
Ciara: Why did you shoot him?
Evan: Why do you care? He was holding you prisoner. What's with the long face?
Ciara: I thought that you were--
Evan: Ben? Yeah, I heard you whining through the glass.
Ciara: You still didn't answer my question.
Evan: Why am I here? It's not to let you go, I can tell you that.
Gabi: [Scoffs] You know, I'd like to punch that bitch in her freeloading,
Abigail: Oh, I already did.
Gabi: You punched Gwen?
Abigail: Yeah. A few days ago, in the square. And then I sort of attacked her at
my grandmother's gravesite.
Gabi: Are you being serious?
Abigail: It was quite a scene... until Shawn showed up and he took us both down
to the police station. And I wanted to press charges, but it would have meant
sharing a cell with her, which, you know, there's no way that was happening,
even if the woman is my sister. It's like, ugh, gosh, makes my skin crawl to say
Gabi: Hold on a second. Did you just say that Gwen is your sister?
Abigail: Half-sister. And since you're probably gonna hear about it anyway,
couple decades ago, long story short, my dad had a one-night stand with Gwen's
Gabi: Oh, my God! And what, he didn't tell anybody?
Abigail: He didn't know she existed. But she didn't know that. She thought that
he'd abandoned her.
Gabi: So-- oh, Gwen was raised by her mother?
Abigail: Mm-hmm. Who unfortunately died of a drug overdose when she was small.
So, Gwen entered the foster care system. So, she's been angry, she's been
resentful, and she's been plotting her revenge against my family ever since. But
rather than attack us from the outside, she decided to worm her way into our
Gabi: Yeah, Chad told me you hired her as your nanny.
Abigail: Yeah. Brilliant move on my part, just entrusting my kids to a homicidal
maniac. But I didn't know. You know, I thought she was my friend. Meanwhile, she
drugged me, she tried to ruin my parents' marriage, and she slept with my
Gabi: Chad-- she slept with Chad?
Abigail: It's the only husband I've got.
Gabi: Right. Right. Wow.
Abigail: And now she has killed my grandmother.
Gabi: [Mumbles] I didn't really expect that from Gwen. It's kind of actually
Abigail: "Impressive"? Not only did she lie and scheme and tear our lives apart,
I mean, this woman committed murder, Gabi. And there's no way in hell she's
getting away with it. I'm gonna make sure of that.
Gabi: Really? So, what's your plan?
Charlie: I didn't do what they're saying I did.
Gwen: So, Allie Horton is lying?
Charlie: Well, I did have sex with her, but it was completely consensual.
Gwen: Well, then why would she say that you raped her?
Charlie: I have no idea. Maybe she hates men, wants attention.
Gwen: No, no, no. No. Women do not make false sexual accusations for attention.
Charlie: Then maybe she's crazy.
Gwen: Hmm. Yeah. That's it, right? Crazy... or a manhater or an attention whore
or just a regular whore, because we all know she's not telling the truth, right?
Gwen: God, you really are a smug son of a bitch, aren't you? Sitting here,
drinking your coffee, reading your news, after you traumatized that poor girl.
My God, how did they let you out of jail?
Charlie: Because they don't have a damn thing on me.
Gwen: You just walked away like nothing even happened.
Charlie: Something did happen. I lost the woman of my dreams.
Belle: Claire, what I said before about not getting your hopes up--
Claire: I know. I know. You're worried that I'm gonna get really excited that
Ciara's alive and then be crushed if it turns out she's not, especially after
everything I've just gone through with Charlie. God, I was such a fool.
Belle: What? No, you're not a fool, not in the least. Charlie deceived you. You
had no way of knowing who he really was.
Claire: Yeah, well, I sure as hell know now, even though...
Belle: Even though what?
Claire: He denied that he forced himself on Allie, tried to convince me that it
was consensual, which I told him I knew was a lie because Allie had remembered
what happened to her that night, and I totally believe her.
Belle: And when was this?
Claire: It was right after he got out of jail in the little park by the square.
Belle: And how did he react?
Claire: Not well. He got really upset, and he-- when I tried to leave, he
Belle: He what?
Claire: It was fine, Mom. I'm fine. Ben came along and got me out of there.
Ben: How the hell should we know where Rhodes took Ciara? We came here for
answers, and we got nothing!
Ben: Rhodes is gone. He's been gone for months. Now that Vincent's dead, this
guy was our last hope, and we don't have the first clue about him.
Shawn: The neighbor said there's a storage room downstairs. Maybe he's left
something behind. Let's go check.
Ben: Not maybe. I'm sure he did. He must have.
Ciara: Rhodes told me that Vincent killed himself in prison. And then he
accepted a job offer to work for someone else. Was that person you?
Evan: That would be none of your business.
Ciara: But if you're Rhodes's boss, then why would you shoot him? And aren't you
supposed to be in prison anyway? You got 20 years for murdering Ben's sister.
Evan: Sure was. I was locked in a cage, and you put me there. Unfortunately, for
you... I got out. On the outside, I looked fine.
Abigail: You know, I don't know how I'm gonna deal with Gwen yet. But I was
thinking maybe you could help me.
Gabi: You're joking.
Abigail: No, not at all.
Gabi: Why would I do anything to help you? Do I need to remind you, you framed
me for murder?
Abigail: I wasn't in my right mind back then.
Gabi: Oh, yeah. That's right. It was your three personalities. Well, this one
person here still went to prison.
Abigail: Okay. And I regret that. But Gwen, she doesn't regret a damn thing. She
was perfectly happy to watch you take the fall for something she did. She knew
that you were innocent while you were being dragged away to prison for drugging
me, and she didn't say a word, while your life was being turned upside down,
while your daughter was being traumatized for not having you around 'cause she
didn't know why. Don't you think maybe she deserves a little bit of payback for
Gwen: Mm. Yes, being arrested for several violent felonies, I can see how that
would put a damper on a relationship.
Charlie: You think this is funny? I tell you I lost my soul mate, and you're
Gwen: Oh, dear. You're gonna have to excuse my insensitivity. It's just that I
had no idea that a rapist could have a soul mate. You know, given that they
generally lack a soul.
Charlie: I am not a rapist.
Gwen: Sorry. Sorry. Yes, yes, you're right. Alleged rapist. Do tell me, 'cause
I'm very curious as to who this soul mate of yours is, what kind of a woman
could love you?
Charlie: My soul mate happens to be beautiful and smart and funny. And she
writes her own music. And we have this connection that I have never had before,
not with anyone.
Gwen: Sounds like you're in love with her.
Charlie: Of course, I am. Why wouldn't I be? We are perfect together. And it's a
miracle that I even found her in the first place. And she wants me. Me, nobody
else. She wants me. For the first time in my life, I was gonna be happy. Why
can't they just let me be happy?
Gwen: They? Who's they?
Charlie: All of them. All of them. They don't want my girlfriend to be with me,
and so they keep feeding her all of these lies. And I told her what they were
saying was wrong, that I didn't do all of those horrible things. And I could see
in her eyes that she wanted to believe me, and she almost did. And then he
Charlie: Ben Weston. I was having a private conversation with her, and he comes
out of nowhere, and he just interrupts us. And I told him to leave, and he
ignored me. And then he took her away.
Gwen: Mm. [Clears throat] You think that perhaps she asked him to take her away,
because, you know, she was scared?
Charlie: Scared? Of me? I love her.
Gwen: All right, take it easy.
Charlie: You don't understand. When we're alone, it's perfect. It's fine. I tell
her the truth, and she listens to me. And she's able to block out all that
garbage and those lies, and-- and-- and... and she could feel how much I love
her. And then she talks to somebody else...
Gwen: Like Ben Weston?
Charlie: Yes, like Ben. Or her friends or her family or everybody else in this
damn town. But you know what? I'm not gonna sit there and let it happen. I am
not gonna lose the best thing that's ever happened to me.
Gwen: What are you going to do?
Charlie: I'm gonna get her alone. I have to... I have to get her alone.
Gwen: Yeah, I... I don't--I don't think that that's gonna happen, Charlie.
Charlie: Why not? If I can get us together, if it's just the two of us, I can
Gwen: Mm-hmm. Well, see, I think that your girlfriend, if she's got even half a
brain, is not going to want to be alone with you. In fact, I don't think that
any sane person is gonna want to be alone with you at the moment.
Claire: I told Charlie that he's nothing to me.
Belle: Still, he's out there, and he's dangerous. I think we need to get you
Claire: No. No, no, no. Mom, I'm fine, really. Ben told Charlie that if he ever
comes near me again, he'd be sorry. The person I'm worried about is Allie. I
mean, how is she ever gonna get justice? Is Charlie never gonna pay for what he
did to her?
Belle: Well, he's still facing criminal charges for kidnapping Ava, and they may
be able to put him away for that.
Claire: Wait, you don't sound so sure.
Belle: I'm not. I mean, the entire case hinges on Ava's testimony, and she was
drugged, you know? And at the time, she said a lot of things that weren't true,
so she's not the most reliable witness.
Claire: So, what, he might get away with it?
Belle: Yeah, he might.
Ciara: How did you get out of Statesville?
Evan: Wasn't at Statesville.
Ciara: What are you talking about?
Evan: They really need to get wi-fi in here because you are way out of the loop.
But I'll be a sport and fill you in. I had a mental breakdown in prison. I was
depressed, suicidal. So, they transferred me to Bayview. I got therapy, took my
meds, made some progress. I thought I had turned a corner last October when my
father busted out of prison and enlisted Marlena to get me out of there.
Ciara: Wait, out of Bayview? Why would Marlena do anything to help Orpheus?
Evan: She had no choice when my dad took her great-grandson hostage. My dad did
all that for me so I could take off with him, leave town, and just get out of
there. But in the end, I couldn't do it. I guess I had developed a conscience.
So, I double-crossed my dad, I knocked him out, and left town. I never thought
I'd hear from him again. Then out of the blue, he called me up. My first
instinct was to just hang up. I wanted nothing to do with him. But then I was
stopped cold... when he told me you... were still alive.
Shawn: Ben, we already looked through this stuff.
Ben: Well, we're looking again.
Shawn: Okay, there's nothing in there. It's just a bunch of junk.
Ben: We're missing something, I can feel it. [Sighs] Why don't you check the
database again, see if you can find any other information on Rhodes?
Shawn: I already had my guys comb through the entire system again. I'm sorry. I
think that we've hit a dead end.
Ben: What about that photo of him? He has a tattoo of a shark.
Ben: Susan Banks said that she saw Ciara with a shark inside of a glass box.
Shawn: Okay, visions-- visions are not evidence.
Ben: Do you believe that Ciara's alive, or do you not?
Shawn: Yes, I believe it. I want to believe it with everything in me. I do, but
I have to deal in facts, not whatever psychic vibes this Susan Banks is feeling.
Ben: It's not just Susan who's feeling them, Shawn. I'm feeling them, too...
more and more every damn day.
Shawn: I know you miss Ciara.
Ben: It's not about that. This is real. She called me on the phone. I heard her
Shawn: I believe that you believe that.
Ben: I know as sure as I'm standing in front of you right now that my wife is
reaching out to me. Ciara is desperately trying to connect to us because she
needs our help.
Ciara: How does your father know I'm alive?
Evan: Vincent told him.
Ciara: They-- they know each other?
Evan: Prison's a lonely place, Ciara. You find yourself talking to strangers,
revealing things you wouldn't normally reveal... like a grudge you've been
holding for a very long time. Vincent's grudge is why you're here. You do know
Ciara: Of course, I do.
Evan: Vincent wanted to get back at Ben for killing his fiancÚ. Wanted him to
feel the same pain. So, he kidnapped you, let his guy make everyone think you're
dead... until my father recruited him.
Ciara: I don't understand. Why would Orpheus want Rhodes to work for him?
Evan: So, he could find out where you were stashed... and I could pay you a
visit. I wasn't just going to take my dad's word for it that you'd survived that
Ciara: I still don't understand what you want from me.
Evan: Isn't it obvious? My dad gave me a golden opportunity to pay you back for
destroying my life, and I'm taking it.
Belle: You know, Allie could still sue Charlie in civil court. And I would help
her with that, of course.
Claire: Yeah, but she'd just get money, right? That's what you said when she was
planning on suing Tripp.
Belle: Yes, if she won, she'd get a financial settlement, but she'd also get
acknowledgement that what happened to her was real. But it wouldn't send Charlie
to prison, no.
Claire: Well, is there anything that could?
Belle: I mean, if he admitted he did it.
Claire: You mean like a confession?
Belle: Yeah, but, Claire, I mean, he would never do that.
Claire: This--this isn't right, Mom. I mean, Allie deserves justice. She has
been so brave and so strong, and Charlie shouldn't just get to make up a lie and
then, boom, it's over. Mom, there has to be a way to make him pay.
Belle: Sweetheart, I know that this is disappointing, but the law is the law.
And we are just gonna have to find a way to accept that.
Gwen: Here's my advice... stay away from her. Maybe you could find yourself a
Charlie: The more you joke, the more you say these awful things, the more I want
to go see her. Maybe I'll find her right now.
Gwen: That's a bad idea, Charlie.
Charlie: Well, I can't let her keep thinking all these horrible things about me.
Gwen: Believe me, I totally get it. Everyone thinks horrible things about me,
Charlie: I'm not a rapist.
Gwen: I'm not a murderer. Anyway, I'm starving. Should we get something to eat?
Charlie: I've lost my appetite.
Gabi: So, what are you saying? You want to team up?
Abigail: With you? Not really. In fact, I would say you're the last person that
I would want to turn to for help, but I desperately want to see Gwen get what
she deserves, don't you? And don't you think we could strike harder if we work
Gabi: I don't know. I've got a lot going on right now, so...
Abigail: Oh, Gabi, I know you. And you have always managed to carve out just a
little bit of time for revenge. And I can say from personal experience, you're
pretty damn good at it.
Gabi: I don't know.
Abigail: How satisfying would it be to watch that conniving bitch get what she
deserves? And you and I, we could make it happen in spectacular fashion. And
then we'll toast her demise with the best champagne we can find. Don't... don't
answer right now. Just think about it.
Gabi: Okay. But no promises.
Ben: Ciara is in trouble, man! She's out there, and she needs our help.
Shawn: I will do everything in my power to help. I promise you that. I'm a
little bit concerned about your level of certainty around this.
Ben: Don't be.
Shawn: Ben, I'm just saying that I think that you need to prepare yourself for
the possibility that if we go and we track down Rhodes right now and we find
him, there's a strong chance that he's not gonna have Ciara.
Evan: Before I left Bayview, I was working on getting in touch with my anger.
You see, suppressing your emotions, keeping them bottled up, it's very toxic.
You have to let yourself feel the anger, then express it in a way that's...
Ciara: Okay. So, you're angry with me. That's what this is all about? You're
angry with me.
Evan: My whole life fell apart because of you!
Ciara: Your life fell apart because you killed Jordan and then you let Ben take
the fall. He was almost executed!
Evan: Oh, God knows he deserved it. But you-- you took what I deserved. You
stole my future. So, when I heard that car exploded with you in it, I felt joy.
Knowing that you and all your dreams had been blown straight to hell was so
deeply satisfying. Except you didn't die. You're alive and well. And I'm angry
again... very... very angry.
Ciara: So, are you gonna kill me like you killed him? If the answer to that
question is yes... then just do it. Just shoot me right here, right now.
Gabi: Dining alone?
Gwen: Wow, Gabi. Haven't seen you since you were writhing around naked with my
Gabi: Oh. Has it been that long? I guess so, yeah. Did I tell you the sex was
mind-blowing? Did I mention that already?
Gwen: No, you didn't. The only thing I remember is calling you a disgusting
Gabi: You also said you were gonna kill me, which I didn't really believe at the
time, but seeing as how you've done some serious damage, hmm...
Gwen: I don't know what you're talking about.
Gabi: Oh, I think you do. See, you drugged Abigail, and you let me take the
fall, which would make sense if you had some reason to hate me, but you hadn't
even met me by then. I hadn't even rocked Jake's world, but you still had no
problem sending me to prison, when you were the one who was supposed to behind
Gwen: There is no proof whatsoever that I drugged Abigail.
Gabi: But we both know you did.
Gwen: Regardless of what may have happened, it was never my intention for you to
take the blame just like I'm sure it was never for your intention to have me
find you mounting my boyfriend like a bitch in heat. So how about we just call
it even and move on, shall we?
Gabi: Well, that's one-- one option, one of many. So, I guess we will see.
Belle: Hey. So, I just finished talking to Claire about Charlie. She's so
frustrated that he might get away with what he did to Allie.
Belle: You okay? You seem distracted.
Shawn: No, sorry. Look, I'm just--I'm trying to track down one of Vincent
Belman's associates, and I'm just--I'm getting nowhere.
Belle: I'm guessing Vincent won't help. [Chuckles]
Shawn: Vincent's dead.
Shawn: Yeah. Killed himself in his cell earlier today.
Belle: Oh, my God. Well... well, who's Allen Rhodes?
Shawn: This is the guy I'm trying to track down. All right, Ben's certain that
Ciara's still alive and that Rhodes has her.
Belle: Ben convinced Claire that she got out of that explosion, too. Do you
think she's right?
Shawn: I think we need to talk to Rhodes.
Ciara: Hate me all you want. I have no regrets about what I did. I was not about
to let the man that I love be put to death for a crime that you committed.
Evan: Anyone ever tell you; you talk too much?
Ciara: So then shut me up. Shoot me. Do it!
Evan: Oh, I'd love to, believe me. My father and I have other plans for you.
Ciara: Yeah? Like what?
Evan: You'll find out. But first... better take out the trash. [Grunts]
Ben: What am I not seeing? [Sighs] [Sighs] "Nothing is ever lost if you follow
your heart." I hear you, Ciara. And I am not giving up on you, not ever.
Charlie: I should have just found Claire and talked to her. But I wouldn't have
gotten her alone, not past her army of bodyguards who won't let me anywhere near
her. But there has to be something, some way to make this happen. [Sighs] Think,
Charlie, think. [Sighs] [Cell phone ringing] [Cell phone beeps] Claire?
Claire: Yeah, it's me.
Charlie: Hey. I was just thinking about you. I haven't stopped thinking about
you. I miss you so much.
Claire: So, listen, uh... I was wondering if maybe we could get together.
