Theo: [Clears throat]
Claire: What the hell? Can you just give me a minute?
Theo: Is that what you want, or should I just move out?
Rafe: What are you working on, or need I ask?
Hope: Rafe, I hated having to arrest JJ for Deimos' murder. And having to face Jennifer afterward?
Rafe: It couldn't have been easy for you.
Hope: I just don't know. I mean, how--how do you explain JJ's DNA under Deimos' fingernails?
Rafe: Especially since nobody can remember what happened that night.
Hope: I'm not giving up on him. How's Gabi doing, huh?
Rafe: She's good, she's good. You know, obviously she's having a tough time with... JJ and what he's going through, but she's a trooper. Actually helped me out with something.
Hope: Oh, yeah?
Hope: With what?
Rafe: Just, you know, run a little errand.
Hope: Oh. Well, that was really nice, huh?
Hope: See you later.
Rafe: It'll be even nicer when you say yes.
Kayla: Okay, Seth. I'm here.
Seth: I see you brought the troops.
Kayla: Well, we were at a barbecue when Shelly called and said that you wanted to see me right away.
Seth: Didn't mean to interrupt the festivities.
Kayla: What is so urgent?
Seth: Believe me, I would not have called you in if this wasn't serious, dr. Johnson.
Kayla: Well, then maybe we should go somewhere private to discuss it.
Seth: No, here is fine, because this involves you too, young man.
Hope: Hey, you know what I hate the most? I mean, not hate, but it bothers me the most about this case?
Rafe: What's that?
Hope: JJ. The way he's refusing to fight this case. The charges against him-- he knows it's circumstantial, and yet it's like--it's like he's resigned himself to take the rap for Deimos' murder.
Rafe: Yeah, but--okay, all right, look. Here's the thing. When a jury hears the facts, they're gonna know that JJ was out of his mind, okay? You see, that--that's a case that Justin can win.
Hope: Okay, so... say, hypothetically speaking, of course, that the jury finds JJ not guilty and lets him walk because of extenuating circumstances.
Hope: Do you think that the department, Raines, is gonna let this go?
Rafe: Honey--okay, look. I'm worried about JJ too, okay? He's a good cop, he's a good kid, but you got to stop, okay? Relax, all right? Let it go. You know what? You know what you need? You need to clear your head. You really do. You tying yourself up in knots like this, it's not good. You need to get out--
Hope: No, no, no. No, Rafe. What I need is I need to read the rest of those files.
Rafe: No, you don't. Hope, would you--stop, honey. Wait, no. I'm gonna tell you what you need. I know what you need right now, okay? And I'm not taking no for an answer. Trust me. I've got the perfect thing. Okay? I do. I do. Come on. Come on.
Hope: Well, let me--let me just grab my phone.
Rafe: You don't-- you don't need your phone. Who you gonna call?
Hope: But what if they call?
Rafe: I'm right here.
Hope: Rafe, just let me take my...
Claire: Why do you think I want you to move?
Theo: Because it seems like you do. You're mad at me all the time.
Claire: I'm not mad at you, Theo. I'm not mad. I'm just frustrated because this isn't what I wanted.
Theo: Okay, well, what do you want?
Claire: I want you to love me again... and maybe for you to not look so uncomfortable when I say that. Look, there are so many things that I want to say to you, I could barely even sleep last night, but you won't even give me the chance to talk.
Theo: All right, fine. I'll listen.
Claire: Are you being sincere?
Theo: Yes, I'm being sincere. So what do you have to say?
Claire: Do you even know what it's like to love you?
Theo: I'm guessing not that easy.
Claire: No, it's pretty great, actually. You're kind, and you're sweet, and you're gentle, and I don't know, you make me want to be all of those things too. And every time I need you, you are right there. You're like this rock in my life. You're constant, and you're steady, and that is not how I grew up at all. We were always moving and living on that stupid boat.
Theo: Yeah, but you said you loved growing up on your parents' boat. You said it was like you were in an adventure book.
Claire: Well, yeah, but I-- I don't want that kind of life anymore. I want what I have with you. Like, change was all there was when I was growing up, but I need consistency, and I need routine. I need--
Claire: But--no. God. No, I need real, 'cause every time I got off of that boat, I was somebody else, but when I'm with you... I'm me, and I like who I am now. You've made me a better person.
Kayla: Seth, what is this about, and how does it involve Tripp?
Seth: I'll explain that if you give me a chance.
Kayla: Okay, I'm giving you a chance right now.
Seth: Thank you. Kayla, as you know, your patient, Mr. Morales, died this morning.
Kayla: Of course I know that. I called his family. I explained everything. They said that they understood.
Seth: Well, they might not when they learn about this.
Kayla: You know, you are talking in riddles. Would you please get to the point?
Seth: Nurse Shelly was going over Mr. Morales' chart, and she noticed that he was given the wrong medication.
Kayla: That's impossible.
Seth: Are you saying you didn't prescribe anything?
Kayla: No, I'm not saying that. He complained of abdominal pain, so I ordered 10 milligrams of hydrovalex to be administered.
Seth: Then why does his chart say 10 milligrams of hydromaltrex?
Steve: What's the difference?
Tripp: Hydromaltrex is a more powerful pain medication.
Kayla: Something is wrong here. I did not prescribe that. Look, I took care of Mr. Morales from the minute that he was admitted. I was the only doctor who cared for him. I know that case. Why on earth would I overprescribe medication to a patient in his condition?
Seth: I wondered the same thing, so I had the order traced back through our system. It came from your tablet, dr. Johnson.
Steve: Did you not hear what she said? She said she didn't do it.
Shelly: Except she did. Last week with hope Brady? You wanted 2.5 milligrams of vicatril, but you wrote down 25 in your chart.
Seth: Seems like we're looking at a very alarming pattern of errors, dr. Johnson.
Theo: I didn't know that's the way I made you feel.
Claire: I know I could do better about telling you things that are important to hear.
Theo: Well, you know, there's, um... there's things I love about you too. I never even thought a girl like you would look at me.
Claire: What? Why?
Theo: Because you're beautiful, Claire.
Claire: Well, still. Not like you're not totally handsome yourself.
Claire: Since when do you care about superficial stuff, huh?
Theo: I don't. It's just a fact. You know? I've seen the way guys look at you, and all they want to know is how I got a girl like you to be interested in me.
Claire: You like that?
Theo: No. No, I think their questions are weird, but... what I love most is that you treat me like a normal guy. You know, not the autistic kid.
Claire: That's because you are totally normal, Theo.
Theo: Well, I'm not, but... you know, thanks to you, I know what that feels like. You've never tried to fix me or change me. You've never been embarrassed by me. You've just accepted me like no one else has.
Hope: Rafe? Oh, my gosh. What?
[Laughs] Our campsite?
Hope: With everything that's going on? When did you have time to do this?
Rafe: Well, I can't give away all my secrets.
Hope: Remind me to thank Gabi later.
Rafe: Aww... I just wanted to show you how special you are to me.
Hope: Thank you.
Hope: No, really. Thank you. It's so sweet, and thank you.
Rafe: You're welcome.
Hope: This is sort of kind of becoming our thing, isn't it?
Hope: Camping out in the middle of town?
Rafe: Sorry, excuse me.
Rafe: We're in the mountains.
Hope: Oh, mountains. Right.
[Whispering] Did you-- was that a bear?
Rafe: [Growls playfully]
Hope: Seriously, thank you. It just isn't the time for a getaway, though, with everything--
Rafe: Oh, yes--no, it is. In fact, this is the perfect time.
Hope: I thought we were just gonna grab a quick bite and then head back to the station.
Rafe: God, you are so romantic.
Hope: Rafe, come on.
Rafe: Come on, please? Please? Come on, just sit down. Come on, sit down.
Hope: Okay, all right.
Rafe: Sit down, would you, please? Sit down and...yeah.
Hope: Are you all right?
Hope: Are you all right, Rafe?
Rafe: Yeah, I'm fine. Why?
Hope: You keep asking me if I'm okay, and you seem kind of jittery. Your hands are shaking a little. Are you sure you're okay?
Rafe: They're not-- no, I'm fine. Stop.
Hope: Are you sure?
Rafe: Yeah, I'm good. I just...
Rafe: I have a lot on my mind, okay?
Hope: Oh, you want to talk about it?
Rafe: But you know what?
Rafe: Let's eat.
Hope: No, no, no. You can't tell me--hold on a second, you can't tell me--
Rafe: Hold on. Look at that, huh? Chocolate-covered strawberries, okay? We got to eat 'em before they melt. Here.
Hope: Classic avoidance, Hernandez.
Rafe: Mmm, dark chocolate?
Hope: Mm-mm. Mm-mm. Mm-mm.
Rafe: Dark chocolate, come on.
Hope: Mm-mm. Mm-mm. You have never played fair, ever.
Rafe: No, I don't.
Hope: I'm not eating these until you tell me what's on your mind.
Rafe: Oh, my god. You are so bossy.
Hope: It's just the way you love me. Come on, talk.
Rafe: Okay. Okay. You... you're an incredible woman. You are. I know, I say that all the time, but it's true, you are, and... you do, like, a hundred things every day that I don't even expect that are so incredible, and I just--I'm so lucky. I'm so lucky to be here with you right now. I love you. I can't imagine my life without you, and--
Julie: Well, if this isn't the most romantic thing that ever was!
[Laughing] Am I intruding?
Kayla: Shelly, hope is fine. In fact, she's back at work.
Shelly: You made a mistake that jeopardized a patient's well-being and could've cost me my job.
Kayla: You know, I understand why you are concerned, but--
Seth: Dr. Johnson, are you gonna deny that there's a very obvious link between these two cases?
Kayla: What are you-- what are you implying, that I'm the obvious link? What exactly are you accusing me of, malpractice?
Seth: Is that what this is?
Steve: Oh, come on. Give me a break.
Seth: Look, hope Brady is only fine and back at work because Tripp caught the error that you made in her medication. If he hadn't, we'd be dealing with a totally different type of situation here.
Tripp: Mr. Burns, I don't know how those dosages got messed up, but I've been shadowing dr. Johnson for a couple weeks now, almost every day, and I can say that she doesn't make snap decisions when it comes to her patients. I mean, she listens, she's thoughtful, and if I were ever a patient here, she's the one who I'd want to be taking care of me. I mean, she's--she's inspired me to consider a career in medicine, and if she says that she didn't make those mistakes, I believe her.
Kayla: Look, I know that you want answers. So do I.
Seth: I know you do, and up until now, your reputation has been beyond reproach.
Kayla: Up until now?
Steve: Okay, Mr. Burns. I don't know how much you know about me, probably nothing, but I'm a private investigator, and I'm pretty good at my job. So you can trust me when I tell you that I'm gonna prove to you and everyone else here that my wife is not responsible for what's happening here.
Seth: You can stand down, Mr. Johnson. Your services won't be necessary. An autopsy's being performed on Mr. Morales as we speak. We'll know soon enough exactly what we're dealing with.
maybe we could try again? I mean, obviously we still have feelings for each other.
Theo: Yeah, yeah, but... I never said that I wanted to get back together.
Claire: I know that, I know, but can you at least admit that you still care about me? I-I swear, Theo. Sometimes I just cannot figure you out. Why did you just say all those nice things about me?
Theo: I mean, because they're true. What, you don't believe me?
Claire: No, no. I do believe you, I do, and that is the problem, because I know how important it is for you to be honest all of the time. Sorry, most of the time.
Theo: Are you really talking about when I set Ciara up with Wyatt? I've already said I'm sorry for that. You know how much I hated lying to everyone.
Claire: God, like I care about Ciara and stupid Wyatt? No. No, I'm talking about when you lied to me.
Theo: I never lied to you.
Claire: Yes, you did. After we made love for the first time, you held me in your arms, and you told me that we were forever. And I believed that. I believed it because it was you. This doesn't really feel like forever to me.
Theo: Claire, I didn't lie to you.
Claire: Okay, so were we just forever then, or are we still forever now?
Theo: I don't know what you're asking me. You're twisting my words around.
Claire: Okay, okay. Then just tell me what you meant. Awesome.
Theo: Look, I-I never meant to hurt you, Claire.
Claire: No. No, you did more than just hurt me, Theo. You broke my heart.
Julie: You sure I'm not intruding?
Hope: No, no. Don't be silly.
Rafe: No, there's enough mountainside to go around.
Julie: Well, thanks. Gee, I can't remember the last time Doug and I went camping.
[Chuckles] This is fun.
Julie: Are those strawberries?
Hope: Yeah, chocolate-covered. Here, try one.
Julie: Don't mind if I do. Mmm, delicious. It's delicious.
Julie: You know, I'm all in favor of a little afternoon delight, but I'm kind of surprised to see you two. I thought you'd be working. I thought you'd be swamped after what happened at the martin house.
Rafe: Well, we are. We're just--oh, you know, we're--got to get out of the office...
Rafe: Blow off a little steam, refocus.
Julie: Mm-hmm. Who can blame you?
Julie: That was just awful.
Julie: You know, Doug and I feel really guilty that we left early. We're thinking that if we'd been there a little bit longer, we could've stopped some of the stuff that was happening.
Hope: Or you could've been drugged with halo like the rest of us.
Julie: I cannot imagine how terrifying that must have been, not to be able to remember a single thing that happened.
Hope: How about I get you something to drink?
Julie: Oh, okay.
Rafe: You know what? There are drinks in the cooler. I'll get it.
Hope: No, no, Rafe. I've got it.
Rafe: It's in the--
Hope: I'll get it.
Rafe: Okay. Okay, Julie?
Rafe: Don't take this the wrong way, but you got to go.
Julie: Oh, oh. I frightened her. I upset hope talking about those things that happened at the martin house. Is that it?
Rafe: No, no. Shh. That's not it at all.
Rafe: I'm trying to propose to hope right now. You're messing things up.
Julie: You're proposing to her right now?
Rafe: Well, yeah. That's why you got to go.
Julie: No, Rafe, you can't. You can't ask her to marry you.
When you're expecting
a little angel, be soft.
Rafe: What do you mean, I can't ask hope to marry me?
Julie: Have you discussed this with Doug?
Rafe: Well, no, why would I?
Julie: To ask his permission, his blessing.
Rafe: Right, okay. It's just, hope's a grown woman.
Julie: Doesn't matter. She will always be his little princess, his best, beloved daughter, and it would mean-- it would mean the world to him. Oh, please, Rafe. You know, he's right over here. He's having a cup of coffee--
Rafe: Okay, okay. I'll do it. Okay?
Julie: Thank you.
Rafe: Yeah. You stay here.
Rafe: All right, and... don't say anything.
Julie: I won't.
Rafe: And no more about Deimos.
Julie: Oh, nothing.
Rafe: And nothing about the--
Julie: I promise.
Doug: Care to join me?
Rafe: Sorry, I can't. Kind of in the middle of something.
Doug: Is that what I think it is?
Rafe: It is. Yes, it is. I'm here to ask you for your permission to marry your daughter.
Doug: Oh, wow.
Doug: That's so old-school. I'm really touched that you would factor my feelings into your plans. Wow.
Doug: Oh, Rafe. Yes, I officially give you my permission.
Rafe: Really? Oh, my god. I am honored to have it, sir. Thank you.
Doug: Yes. Oh, well--Rafe, if you don't mind...
Doug: I want to say thank you...
Doug: Thank you to you. You...you've already done so much for my little princess. You've made her happy again. She has that sparkle in her eye, and I know that has everything to do with you, and--yes. Wow, yes. Welcome to the family.
Rafe: Oh, man. Thank you, sir. Thank you so much.
Doug: Yes, yes.
Rafe: All right.
Doug: Oh, and Rafe, before you go--
Doug: I think there's one other person that you need to speak to before you pop the question.
Rafe: Oh, uh, who's that?
Doug: Victor Kiriakis.
Doug: Why? Bo's father, okay? Victor has always been very protective of hope and the kids, and I just think it would be more than right if you got his blessing too.
Rafe: Yeah, okay. Great.
Steve: Sweetness. You're gonna wear a hole in the floor.
Kayla: I just keep going over and over Mr. Morales' case in my head. I just can't sit still.
Steve: Well, maybe it'll help to talk about it.
Kayla: He had stage four pancreatic cancer. He was in palliative care. We all knew it wasn't gonna be long, but if I did something or missed something that-- that could've cost him precious time with his family...
[Sighs] Not to mention, they-- they could sue the hospital.
Steve: Okay, stop. Stop second-guessing yourself. You're a good doctor, Kayla.
Kayla: Good doctor or not, Shelly's right. This didn't just happen once or with one patient. What if hope would've gotten the wrong medication? I mean, what if I am the problem?
Steve: [Scoffs] Well, then something's wrong with the world. Listen to me. Think of all the lives you've saved.
Kayla: Maybe this was inevitable. Maybe I should've known that it was just a matter of time before the other shoe would drop.
Steve: What other shoe? What are you talking about?
Kayla: You know, I have never been happier with you or our life together right now. I just have this fear... that it can't stay this good or this right for long.
Steve: Of course it can. Baby, come here. Now listen to me. We are gonna be happy for a very, very long time.
Steve: We earned it. Hmm? You got that? And I'm gonna prove that you had nothing to do with what happened here, okay?
Tripp: Kayla. The autopsy results are back.
She's nationally recognized
Hope: Where did Rafe say he was going?
Julie: Well, he didn't. He just said he needed one more thing to make this romantic interlude perfect.
Hope: It's not an interlude, it's lunch.
Hope: Hey, sweetheart.
Julie: Hi, darling.
Hope: What a nice surprise.
Claire: What are you guys doing?
Julie: Oh, hope and Rafe were having a rom-- are having a lunch. I'm just holding Rafe's place.
Hope: Honey, is something wrong?
Claire: Theo just broke up with me.
Julie: Oh, honey. Honey, I'm so sorry.
Claire: The really messed up part is, I know that he's still in love with me.
Julie: Well, that's good. That's good, sweetie, because that means that you will have time to make things right again.
Claire: Okay, then why doesn't he want to do that? Why does he keep saying that he thinks that that's a bad idea, which is insane because we live together?
Hope: Well, honey, Theo has always been very good at expressing his feelings.
Claire: Oh, I know. I know, he's all about being honest, trust me. But he did lie to me. When we first fell in love, he told me that we were gonna be forever.
Julie: Well, darling, that's not exactly what I would call a lie. I'm sure when he said it to you, he meant it with his whole heart.
Claire: You know what? I think you're right. I'm gonna remind him of that. I am gonna remind him that he fell in love with me once and wanted us to be together forever, so there's no reason that he can't feel that way again.
Hope: Claire--Claire, you need to respect Theo's wishes. You do. Maybe if you gave him some space and time--
Claire: Oh, god. But people giving people space is just not my thing, you know? Getting in their faces is more my style, and that is why Theo fell in love with me in the first place, and it's exactly why he will again, okay?
Claire: You guys just watch.
Hope: What--what just happened?
Victor: Oh, you're gonna propose to hope?
Rafe: Technically, I'm proposing right now. I'm just not there to do it.
Victor: Well, you've certainly found a way to make it memorable.
Rafe: Yeah, right. Listen, I'm not trying to take Bo's place. I know that he was the love of hope's life.
Victor: Well, it's very smart of you to acknowledge that.
Rafe: Yeah, well, I'm just stating a fact.
Victor: You know, when I first fell in love with Maggie, I knew that I could never compete with the life she shared with Mickey. All I could do was offer my love and my fidelity.
Rafe: Yeah. Look, as Bo's father, you should know that Bo came to me before he died, and he asked me to take care of hope and to look out for his family the same way that he always did, and I will do that, because I love hope. I love her completely, and-- and that's what Bo wanted for her.
Victor: Well, if you've got Bo's blessing, you certainly have mine.
Rafe: Thank you. Thank you.
Victor: Although if you're looking for someone who can speak for Bo, it wouldn't be me. That would be roman. Maybe it's him that you need the blessing from.
Roman: Hey, Theo.
Roman: Want some lunch? Have a seat.
Theo: No thanks, I am actually looking for a job. Are you hiring?
Roman: Well, Theo, you know what? You're Abe's son, and as far as I'm concerned, that makes you family. If I was gonna hire anybody, it would be you.
Theo: So it sounds like you're saying no.
Roman: Unfortunately, the truth is, I got more help than I need right now, and I just--I don't have the heart to let anybody go.
Theo: Right. Well, if you hear of anyone hiring, will you tell them about me? I'm a hard worker.
Roman: Absolutely will. Sounds like you're eager to get a job. Everything okay?
Theo: Yeah. I have to move out of the loft and I can't afford to without one.
Roman: I thought you liked living with Claire and Joey.
Theo: It's just not working out the way I thought it would.
Roman: Hmm. Why not move back in with your dad?
Theo: Well, I mean, he's dating Valerie now, and she's there all the time. I'd just be in the way. No, no. It's best if I just have my own spot, but thanks anyways.
Kayla: Well, what does the autopsy report say?
Seth: That there was no trace of hydromaltrex in Mr. Morales' system.
Kayla: Thank god.
Seth: Just the 10 milligrams of hydrovalex that you said you prescribed.
Steve: So what was the cause of death?
Seth: There's no doubt now that it was the cancer.
Steve: Okay. I think you owe my wife an apology.
Seth: I'm sure dr. Johnson understands the need for the hospital to be thorough when it appears a mistake like this was made.
Kayla: I still don't understand how this happened.
Seth: Neither do I, but I've taken steps to ensure that it won't happen again. I'll be keeping a close eye on you from now on.
More "doing chores for mom" per roll
Roman: That's fantastic, man. I mean, I figured it was coming, but--so what do you need from me?
Rafe: Your blessing.
Roman: Okay, I see. Well, Rafe, yeah. I do know better than anybody how much my brother loved hope, but I also know how much you did to protect her since he died. Nobody goes to the lengths you've gone to unless you really do love someone, so you know what? First of all, you're a good man, and as far as I'm concerned, you don't need my blessing. You don't need anybody's blessing, all right? Follow your heart. Just keep loving her like you do.
Rafe: Easiest promise I'll ever make.
Hope: [Sighs] Did Rafe say where he was going? Did you know he was gonna be gone this long?
Julie: No, no, but I'm sure he'll be--he'll be back any minute.
Hope: Wait a minute. Maybe something happened at work.
Julie: No, no! Wait, wait. Where are you going?
Hope: If something happened in JJ's case, I need to know about it.
Julie: No, no, no, no, no, no. You stay put, darling.
Hope: Wait a minute. You know where he went, don't you?
Julie: Rafe made me promise to keep you here and to keep my big mouth shut.
Hope: And we both know you're not very good at that. Talk or I walk. 60 seconds...starting now. One, two, three, four...
Julie: Well, it all began-- oh, thank god. Where have you been? You were gone forever.
Rafe: Yeah, maybe I'll-- I'll explain it to you sometime.
Julie: Okay, fine. I'm out of here, and good luck.
Rafe: All right.
Hope: Good luck?
Rafe: I'm--I'm sorry that that took so long.
Hope: Yeah, me too. Come on, we need to get back to the station.
Rafe: No, no, no. Hold on. Hold on.
Hope: Rafe, it's late.
Rafe: No, there's time. I brought you-- I brought you here for a reason. There's something that I need to ask you.
Hope: Okay, okay. Okay, ask.
Kayla: Tripp, you know, I just want to thank you again. If you--if you hadn't caught that error in hope's chart--
Tripp: I just--I just got lucky, that's all.
Kayla: And you really didn't need to defend me with Mr. Burns. Thank you.
Tripp: Please--please stop thanking me. Like, I'm just glad everything is okay.
Kayla: Well, okay considering I almost made some terrible mistakes.
Steve: Come on, don't get that into your head. You're better than that.
Kayla: You're biased.
Steve: I know what I know, and I know that nothing like this is ever gonna happen again. Okay?
Claire: Whatcha doing? Why are you working on a résumé?
Theo: I'm want to get a job with computers, except no one takes you seriously without a résumé. And I don't know how to write a résumé. And I have no experience.
Claire: Come on, what are you talking about? You have tons of experience. Move over.
Okay, so you got paid to tutor that kid at school, right?
Theo: Yeah, max. He was really bad at trigonometry.
Claire: Well, I mean, it's--it's experience. And you fixed Chad's computer for him that one time. I mean, that's basically a freelancing gig for DiMera enterprises.
Theo: Yeah, but I'm related to Chad. Wouldn't that look bad?
Claire: Bad that a major corporation would work with you? Uh, no. You--you helped my grandma back up all those files for work once, right?
Claire: Salem pd. Shows you're trustworthy. Do you even know the references you could get in this town?
[Keys clacking] Okay. So this is just an outline, but look. You have experience, you have education, and then references.
Theo: That's amazing.
Claire: Well, no. You're amazing, because this résumé is you. So just give me, like, ten minutes to type it all up, and then you'll be good to go.
Claire: And you'll be more than qualified for any job that you want.
Claire: And once they meet you in person, you'll have it in the bag.
Theo: You know, just-- just so you know, I'm getting a job so I can afford my own place. You know, that way I can move out so I'm not around you all the time.
Claire: I told you, Theo, I don't want you to move out.
Rafe: I'm sorry I kept you waiting. I... I just wanted things to be right. I think they are now, and the way that I feel about you, the way you feel about me. I know that I asked you to marry me before, and you said no, and your reasons made sense to me. They really did. In fact, it made me love you that much more. I love you so much. You are--you're so beautiful and courageous and smart. And you're funny. You make me laugh. You--you are-- you are my everything. So... hope Brady, will you marry me?
Hope: [Sniffles] Rafe... [Stammers]
