Brady: I didn't like you being alone last night.
Nicole: Okay, I was fine, okay? Seriously. Deimos hired security for me and he told them to stick to me like glue.
Brady: You gotta hand it to Xander and his friends, they don't do anything halfway, do they?
Nicole: I mean, blowing up the power station for the entire town? That's definitely sending a message.
Brady: And the message is that they are calling the shots right now.
Nicole: Yeah. I just hope that the cafe has a generator. I can't get through this day without coffee.
Brady: Look, you know where there's hot coffee? At the Kiriakis kitchen, okay? And there's a security guard every two feet.
Nicole: [Sighs] Is that your cute little way of trying to get me to move in?
Brady: Yeah. Just 'cause Deimos suggested it, doesn't mean it's a bad idea.
Nicole: Brady, I can't.
Brady: Yes, you can-- there's convicts running around, Nicole. Three lunatics, okay? Do you really want to be out in the open, here? I know you're scared.
Nicole: That's the problem. I am scared. And Deimos is so persuasive, and if I move into that house, then I am sending him a message that I'm not ready to send.
Brady: No, I get that, I really do. And I'm not crazy about bunking with him either. But like you, I have a wife that's terrified. She thinks Xander is after you too.
Nicole: I know he is.
Brady: What are you talking about?
Nicole: He called me later, after you guys left.
Brady: He knew you were alone?
Nicole: Yeah. He's been watching me.
Brady: Guess what? You are my oldest and best friend in the world, right?
Brady: That's why you're not gonna be stubborn right now and you're gonna get your suitcase and you're gonna come with me, and I'm gonna take you to the mansion. Please.
Eve: Oh, honey, I don't know what's worse: You being at your place with no power or here with Victor.
Theresa: Well, I have to get through it, you know? For his sake.
Eve: Still can't believe those creeps knocked out the electricity.
Theresa: I can't believe they have Joey. But Brady says that they can't hurt him, or they won't get their demands met. So I just pray to God he's right.
Eve: I hate leaving you, but I have to teach on Monday. But listen. If you want, I will change the schedule, I will see if I can--
Theresa: It's fine, just take care of yourself.
Eve: But I want to take care of you, honey. You and Tate, I can.
Theresa: I--what do you mean?
Eve: Just pack your bags and his, and come back to new York with me, all right?
Theresa: Eve, that's really sweet of you, it is, but I--
Eve: But, hey, nothing-- what are you talking about?
Eve: Clyde Weston's son murdered my daughter. And I don't want Clyde to do the same thing to you or my nephew, all right?
Philip: We should've left earlier this morning.
Chloe: The nurse said the doctor's running late.
Philip: [Sighs] Why do you come so far to see an obstetrician?
Chloe: Well, considering the fact that I'm lying that you're the baby's father, I thought it'd be a better idea to find a doctor who's not in Salem.
Philip: It is the paternity test switching capital of the world. I see your point.
Chloe: Did you see Deimos this morning?
Philip: Yeah, but he didn't see me. He was busy yelling at the security guys.
Chloe: Good, so you got away without him noticing. Thank you for being here. [Sighs]
Philip: Another headache?
Chloe: Yeah. [Sighs] Oh, Doctor Wright, hi. This is Philip Kiriakis, the father.
Dr. Wright: Hi, nice to meet you.
Chloe: [Clears throat]
Dr. Wright: Well, your blood pressure's a bit high.
Chloe: Yeah, things have been a bit stressful back at home in Salem.
Dr. Wright: I'll tell you what, why don't you change into a gown, lie down on the table on your left side and try to relax? I'll come back in a little while to check your BP.
Chloe: Thanks. [Sighs] Is he kidding? Try to relax? How am I gonna relax? If Deimos finds out that this baby's his, my life is over.
Deimos: Can you at least get the security system back on? A week? All right, you know what? Get your boss on the phone. Really? Okay, well, you tell him to call me. And you tell him, if he doesn't do what I'm asking, the Kiriakis family isn't going to forget it.
Justin: Let me guess, no luck?
Deimos: I've contacted every contractor in the area. Even the power company can't give me an estimate as to when the electricity's gonna go back on.
Justin: Okay, I'll arrange for more guards to patrol the property.
Deimos: No, no, no. You don't worry about it. I've already taken care of it. There is something else I need you to do.
Justin: Am I gonna wanna do this?
Deimos: Probably not. But under the circumstances, you don't have much of a choice.
Kate: [Sighs] Billie, don't be ridiculous. I'm going to be fine. Yes, he did. Yes, Clyde had a gun, I know. [Sighs] Listen to me. I hired my own big, burly bodyguard and he has a gun as well. And it's a bigger gun. Sweetie, everything's gonna be fine, don't worry. Everything is under control. [Gasps] My God, he's back.
Nicole: Brady... if I move into that house because I'm scared of Xander, Deimos is gonna see it as something else. I can't let someone new into my life for the wrong reasons. I won't do that to Daniel's memory. Can you understand that?
Brady: Yeah, I can. But you're at least gonna let me walk you back to your apartment, okay?
Nicole: Actually, I was thinking of heading over to the mansion to check on Theresa. How about you be my escort and run interference with Deimos?
Brady: That would be my pleasure.
Brady: Come on.
Theresa: Eve, I can't come to new York.
Eve: Why not?
Theresa: Well, for one thing, I've let my company slide since Tate was kidnapped, okay? And I've lost investors, and I-- DJ wear's practically on life support.
Eve: Your company. I'm talking about your child's life. Your life.
Theresa: I know, I know, eve. And I promise you, I would not stay here if I didn't fully believe in my soul that Tate and I were safe here, okay? Right, and look, the Kiriakises have aligned, which is why Brady's not gonna leave them now, and I'm not gonna leave Brady.
Kate: [Sighs] Billie, sorry, honey, I just overreacted. I know, look, if it's gonna make you feel any better, I'm gonna call you every single day to let you know that everything's all right. I know. Well, I love you too. Bye.
Kate: You just scared the hell out of me.
Andre: Hm. I do have that affect on people. However, if you're that scared, perhaps you should go and make alternate living arrangements.
Kate: Oh, what ulterior motive is causing that suggestion?
Andre: You're rather suspicious, aren't you? You should work on that.
Kate: I'm waiting.
Andre: Perhaps you should go and stay with Philip. I understand the Kiriakis house is--well, it's being guarded like fort Knox. But how about Lucas? I'm sure he'd take you in.
Kate: Well Lucas is staying in your old digs. With Adrienne, and we can't stand each other.
Andre: Oh, and how about Philip?
Kate: Philip and Chloe are staying with Victor. Same deal.
Andre: Hm. You don't seem to approve of anyone of the female persuasion.
Kate: No, that's not true. I just don't approve of most of the women that my sons choose to be with.
Andre: Mm. Now whose problem is that? Theirs or yours?
Philip: Deimos will never find out he's the father of your baby. Nicole and I aren't gonna say a word.
Chloe: Well, these things have a way of coming out. We ought to know.
Chloe: You know, Philip, I never meant to hurt you, and it just seems like I keep doing that over and over again and-- and I'm sorry. I don't even know why you're being so nice to me and being so helpful through all this.
Philip: [Sighs] Parker is back in my life. And I have you to thank for that. And I'm gonna be this kid's dad for life. Unless you change your mind about that.
Chloe: Never. You really are so nice. I mean, you always have been. Even since high school. Remember all those mean girls that used to call me ghoul girl?
Philip: They were idiots.
Chloe: And you were the handsome prom king. I'll never forget that night.
Philip: Ah, me neither. [Sighs] Or the way you looked in that red dress.
Chloe: Oh. Well, maybe that's always been our problem. Maybe we've just never gotten each other out of our systems.
Philip: Talking about that kiss the other day--
Chloe: Yeah, um... that can't happen again. This is complicated enough.
Philip: Fine. As much as I enjoyed it, uh, which I've made clear... [Sighs] And you admitted you weren't offended by it. Under the heading of damning with faint praise. Still, you won't get an argument from me. I am all for keeping it simple.
Chloe: So come and take my hand darling to the promised land we're starting when we go by heavenly roads is that okay?
Philip: It was perfect.
Deimos: So you're clear on what you need to do?
Justin: You do remember the last time I did a job for you I ended up losing my real job?
Deimos: Yes, but now your job is working the family business.
Justin: But what you're asking me to do has nothing to do with business.
Deimos: No, but it does have to do with family. Theresa...has anyone told you that the security system is out?
Deimos: It's the power outage, okay? But everything's all right. I've hired extra personnel. They should be here shortly.
Eve: Are you telling me the only thing protecting my little sister and my nephew is a lock on that front door here?
Theresa: Eve, just please.
Deimos: Sister? All right.
Deimos: Well I'm sure you've noticed, sis, that there are a lot of guards outside, okay? And as I just mentioned, I've hired even more. I'm just telling you this so that you'll be careful.
Theresa: Look, I will be.
Justin: Do you know where Philip and Chloe are? Because they need to know about this, too.
Theresa: No, they went out.
Deimos: Wait a minute, what? Together?
Deimos: Do you know where they went?
Theresa: No, they just went out the back door this morning. It's not like they talked to me.
Deimos: Damn it. Music: Suspenseful
Kate: So the reason that Adrienne and Chloe don't like me is because I'm so articulate about their shortcomings.
Andre: I see. Well, thank goodness you're not a bitch. You're just perfect.
Kate: Well, exactly. Philip always ends up being terribly unhappy because of Chloe. Adrienne always goes back to Justin. And Lucas always ends up heartbroken. And absolutely no one listens to me.
Andre: Mm. Perhaps you should mention to your sons that it's not that you hate Adrienne and Chloe so much, it's that you just hate seeing them hurt because you love them so much.
Kate: I can't believe it.
Kate: That was fairly sage advice, coming from you.
Andre: Well, I just heard it on Oprah.
Kate: Oh, my God, I should have known. Like you could give parenting tips. You, coming from a family so mired in dysfunction.
Andre: [Chuckling] And you... you're the matriarch suffering from the same condition.
Andre: What? Didn't know?
Theresa: Thank you for coming over here. I know you hate it.
Eve: Who doesn't?
Nicole: Well, I had to come. Plus... I have a wedding gift.
Theresa: Oh, well, I didn't get married yet, so--
Nicole: Oh, call it an engagement gift, then.
Theresa: [Chuckles] Thanks.
Nicole: I know it's gonna cheer you up, but you--just open it later, okay, please?
Theresa: Okay. Well look, Nicole, this was really sweet of you, but honestly, I don't think that you should have left your house. I mean, Xander's out there and he could be up to God knows what, and--
Eve: Well, it's like I told Theresa, anybody that wants to stick around this town right now is absolutely crazy. So if you guys happen to change your mind, like I told you, Nicole, I have a pull-out sofa in my living room. And the welcome mat is out.
Nicole: Thank you, eve. That is really sweet of you, but...my heart is here. And it always will be.
Chloe: [Sighs] The doctor said we might be able to hear a heartbeat today.
Philip: Uh, when can they tell if it's a boy or girl?
Chloe: Mm, usually around 18 weeks pregnant.
Philip: Do you wanna find out?
Chloe: I think it's a boy.
Chloe: I just have a gut feeling.
Philip: A little girl would be cool, though. [Clears throat] She'd look so cute in the baseball cap I bought.
Chloe: Better not be a Mets cap.
Philip: What's wrong with the Mets?
Chloe: Uh, they beat the cubs in the playoffs last year.
Philip: Oh, come on.
Philip: If it's a boy, I'm thinking mookie Kiriakis.
Chloe: Oh, okay, that's good. Um, I was thinking Placido. You know, like Placido Domingo, the tenor.
Philip: No son of mine is gonna be a tenor.
Chloe: Why not? Okay, how about Philip Jr.? Yeah, Philip Jr. That would serve Deimos right.
[Knock at door]
Chloe: Ugh, finally. Come in.
Incredible bladder protection in a pad this thin, I didn't...
Kate: You are not going to regret making this decision, Charlie. You bet. I'll be in touch.
Andre: You look alarmingly pleased with yourself.
Kate: Well, I was doing battle for DiMera enterprises.
Andre: In what way?
Kate: I haven't been exactly in the loop these days. And who's Charlie?
Kate: Charlie Bartlett. Last remaining investor in Theresa Donovan's little clothing company--aside from Brady, of course. I just convinced him to pull all of his money. Which means one less competitor for DiMera.
Andre: Well, thank you for being such a good steward to the family. Especially in my absence.
Kate: [Sighs] Andre, if that's your way of asking whether I've spoken to Chad about you, I haven't made up my mind about that yet. And I don't want you to bring it up again.
Andre: I'm impressed.
Andre: You... maintaining your unflappable facade, even in the face of death.
Kate: If you're going to be that grim, you're going to have to leave. And who says it's a facade?
Andre: I do. Salud. [Chuckles]
Kate: It's not even 10:00 A.M.
Andre: Mm, I know. But you know, rules don't apply to either one of us.
Brady: Hey, there you are. I was wondering where you were.
Theresa: Oh, yeah, I just put Tate down for his nap. I mean, I might hate it here, but he seems like he's right at home. I don't know, sometimes I think maybe he remembers the-- Brady?
Brady: What? Sorry. What?
Theresa: You seem so-- God, did something else happen?
Brady: Yes. Yes, it did.
Deimos: What the hell are you doing here?
Chloe: He had us followed, didn't you?
Deimos: I was worried about you two. Afraid something had happened. But imagine my surprise when I came to learn that you snuck out for a doctor's appointment. In another town, no less.
Philip: Whoa, whoa, wait. We didn't sneak. Chloe's having a high-risk pregnancy, and she likes the specialist here.
Deimos: What's high risk about it?
Philip: We've told you enough--get out. You don't have any rights here.
Deimos: Mm, you know? Actually, I do. Why don't you come on in?
Chloe: Seriously? You came here with him? Why?
Justin: Um, to present to your doctor this court order that says Deimos has the legal right to demand a paternity test.
Deimos: That's right, kids. And I'm exercising that right. Today. family has one or two judges in its pocket at all times, but I thought you were above doing his bidding.
Deimos: All I want is the truth, Philip.
Philip: You're not gonna get away with this. Chloe and I have nothing to hide.
Deimos: Right, of course you don't.
Philip: You're not gonna put Chloe under any more stress than she's already under. And you're not gonna endanger this baby.
Deimos: I wouldn't think of creating additional stress for the mother of my child.
Chloe: You're unbelievable.
Deimos: All right, look, why don't we all just relax? Okay? It's very simple. I give blood, Philip gives blood, you give blood. You have the baby's DNA coursing through your bloodstream, did you know that? So, the baby will be just fine, and the test is no big deal. Unless, of course, as I suspect, you're afraid of needles, Philip.
Chloe: Well, you've thought of everything, haven't you?
Justin: I asked the judge to expedite the order, since Deimos was able to establish the probability of sexual contact between the two of you at the time of conception.
Deimos: So you see that, it's a good thing that we're all in your doctor's office at the same time, so we can get this done today. I mean, if we're gonna get it done anyway, why drag it out?
Dr. Wright: What's going on here?
Deimos: Show him the paper.
Dr. Wright: What's this?
Justin: A court order.
Deimos: You're gonna have to run one more test on ms. Lane than you had planned. A paternity test.
Brady: I just got off the phone with Charlie Bartlett. And he's pulling his money out of DJ wear.
Theresa: [Sighs] Thank God. Oh, God, I thought that you were gonna say something awful happened to Joey, and I--
Brady: No, no, it's nothing like that.
Theresa: [Sighs] Okay. Wow. [Chuckles] This is the end of DJ wear, isn't it?
Brady: I'm sorry, I know how much the company meant to you.
Theresa: No, you know what? I've been missing in action since Tate got kidnapped, and we both know that. And I should have come up with a game plan, you know? And I didn't so--
Theresa: This is on me.
Brady: No, no, no, it's not. It's not your fault.
Theresa: How do you know that? Huh?
Brady: 'Cause the investors, they knew about what happened to Tate, and they were ready to stick by it. Theresa, I think this has Kate written all over it.
Theresa: You know what? You're probably right. I just--I don't care, Brady. I just--I don't have the energy to figh--
Brady: Hey, hey, I have the energy.
Theresa: No, no, please, no.
Brady: I don't mind.
Theresa: No, Brady. Don't. Okay? I mean, you and Victor, you're finally getting along. And I just--I really think that you should invest your energy into titan enterprise. You--you know that-- you would love that, right?
Brady: Part of me would like to be back there, Theresa, but the bottom line is, you still have me as a backer and I can put a marketing strategy in place. We can save the company, if you want--
Theresa: I don't want to. Mm-mm.
Brady: It meant a lot to you, though, you--your work was so good in it--
Theresa: I know, but I can be a designer at any time. All right? But Tate's only gonna be a baby once, and-- and, hey-- you know, I am gonna marry the man that I love more than anything, and that is all that matters to me. Okay? I don't want you to lose your money, too. So...we're just gonna-- we're gonna shut the company down.
Deimos: So you gonna draw the blood now?
Dr. Wright: I need to examine my patient. I'd like the two of you to leave.
Deimos: Uh, wait a minute. I am the father of that child, so I have a right to be here. Until the test results come in, Mr. Kiriakis is the father of record. You can wait in the waiting room, and I will call you when I'm ready to draw the blood.
Deimos: When will the results be in?
Dr. Wright: They should be in later today.
Deimos: Hm. Excellent.
Dr. Wright: I'm going to order some additional blood work, and I'll be right back.
Chloe: Okay. Oh, my God, this is a nightmare. Deimos is gonna find out today.
Philip: Don't worry, the test is gonna say I'm the father.
Chloe: How is that possible?
Philip: I'll make it happen.
Philip: I'll do whatever it takes.
Justin: Eve. Hey.
Eve: Hey, Justin, I thought you would, uh... actually still be on lockdown at the mansion.
Justin: Um, actually, I had to go out of town. But, you know, it was really nice seeing you this morning.
Eve: It's always wonderful to see you, but I'm actually headed to the airport. I'm gonna catch a taxi right now, so--
Justin: Oh, I'm sorry that we didn't at least get the chance to have a drink or something.
Eve: You know what? Me too. Um...but I'm planning on coming back for Theresa's next wedding, that is, if there isn't another prison break.
Justin: I get why you wanted to move, but I really wish you hadn't.
Justin: Well, I thought we had some good times together. At least I thought so.
Eve: I thought so, too. But I've been around long enough to know when a man is in love with his ex-wife.
Justin: Mm. That ex-wife is about to marry Lucas Horton.
Eve: Is anybody taking bets on whether that's gonna happen or not? Because, you know what? I'd like a little piece of that action.
Justin: [Laughs] It's going to happen.
Justin: I'm just sorry that you and I didn't get the chance to find out what might have been for us.
Deimos: Didn't you tell me, Dario, that Chloe's doctor's appointment was for tomorrow? So when you figured out that it had changed, you didn't think that you should call me? You didn't know what difference it makes? I hired you to keep tabs on Chloe and report back to me. You do that again, and you're fired.
Brady: Who's fired now?
Deimos: Oh, I was just, um... I was talking to the head of the security team. I'm getting tired of waiting for the police to catch Orpheus and friends, so I want to put my own team on it. But he's been telling the rest of the team that he doesn't think it's a good idea.
Brady: He's right.
Deimos: I'm sorry, excuse me?
Brady: He's right, okay? It could screw up everything the police are doing.
Deimos: The police are tripped up on warrants and procedures. In a situation like this, you have to be as ruthless as the criminals you're going after. I'm sorry, Brady, if you don't approve of that, but frankly, I really don't care.
Brady: Hold on, hold on. I understand your frustration. Okay, I share your frustration--
Deimos: Hey! Hey. So, what? Did you change your mind? Decide to move in?
Nicole: Ah, no, I came to visit Theresa.
Deimos: Ah. And you thought you'd stick around and wait for me to come back?
Nicole: Don't flatter yourself.
Brady: I'll leave you two alone.
Nicole: Hi. So where did you go?
Deimos: I, um--well, I went and joined Chloe at her doctor's appointment.
Nicole: Oh. And how'd that go for you?
Deimos: Actually, it went great.
Philip: Okay, mom, you were right.
Kate: Of course I was. About what?
Chloe: Philip isn't the baby's father.
Kate: [Scoffs] You just never disappoint, do you? Who's the lucky daddy?
Kate: Ugh. Well, that's perfect. There's champagne in the fridge. Oh, not for you. I know how careful you are about those things.
Philip: Okay, will you just listen?
Kate: I'm all ears, Philip. All ears.
Philip: Deimos followed us to Chloe's ob today. He had Justin hand her a court order demanding a paternity test.
Kate: Well, I hate to say I told you so.
Philip: No, you don't.
Kate: The truth always comes out, and now it will.
Philip: Not necessarily. Not if you cooperate.
Kate: And why would I do that?
Philip: Because you hate Deimos.
Kate: [Clears throat]
Philip: And this is your chance to stick it to him where it hurts. [Sighs] He has everything he wants except a kid, and you have the power to keep it that way.
Kate: [Sighs] And how, pray tell, would I do that?
Philip: I did a little research on Chloe's doctor. His name is Wright. You've helped raise money for his clinic in the past. He owes you big time. [Sighs] Get him to say I'm the daddy.
Kate: Oh, God. Philip, he's a very ethical man. He's not gonna do that.
Philip: Then get to the lab he uses. You've proven to be pretty talented in that area.
Kate: Well, I have to say, I do love the idea of sticking it to Deimos in the area that is so fundamentally important to his manhood.
Philip: Then you're in?
Kate: That would mean shackling you to this creature and her whelp for the rest of your life and passing off the kid as my grandchild. I can't do that. If your sneezes are a force to be reckoned with...
Justin: Well, at least let me drive you to the airport. It's safer than a cab. We'll have a Kiriakis security guard following us all the way there. What do you say?
Eve: What-- you don't have to.
Justin: I know I don't. I want to.
Eve: You know, Justin, Adrienne is a fool to choose any man over you.
Justin: Let's go. I'm over here.
Eve: Okay. How are you?
Philip: Chloe, you can't stay here tonight.
Chloe: Well, I can't be at Victor's house when Deimos finds out that this baby is his. Oh, my God, this baby's not even here and his life is over.
Philip: I'm sorry my mother treated you the way she did.
Chloe: I don't care how she treated me, as long as she could've helped us.
Philip: [Sighs] She's not our only option.
Chloe: Really? What else is there?
Philip: Well, I can find out if Caroline Brady's kept her computer skills up.
Chloe: This isn't funny.
Philip: I know. So I will find a way to get into that lab myself.
Chloe: Before the end of the day? Really?
Deimos: Listen, would you do me a favor and go powder your nose or something? I'd like to talk with Kate.
Nicole: Yeah. How long should I powder?
Deimos: Well, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Well, hello, Kate. I heard about your little run-in with Clyde Weston.
Kate: I survived.
Deimos: You always do. It's the men you happen to get involved with that seem to end up dead some of the time. You are going to be so much happier with someone as sedate as Nicole.
Deimos: Hm. Yeah, I guess something like that. Because it's great being with a woman who actually has blood coursing through her veins, rather than ice water. And she's a fantastic business woman, too. You know, she and I were just talking about how much fun it might be to go after you and DiMera enterprises.
Kate: Just remember, I have the goods on your little black market operation, so if you decide to play dirty--
Deimos: I always play dirty, Kate. You should remember that. And you should remember this, too: That if you try to take me down for what I did, you'll be on the hook for kidnapping Brady's son. Hm? So you might wanna think twice before you screw around with me. Be safe out there.
Kate: You be safe, too.
Nicole: So...how did it go with Kate?
Deimos: Actually, it went great.
Nicole: You know, for a guy who's living with his whole family in a house that's under siege, you seem pretty happy.
Deimos: I am happy. It feels like things are finally starting to go my way.
Theresa: It almost feels normal.
Brady: I'm really sorry about DJ wear. Really.
Theresa: Hm, well, it's okay. I'm a little sad, but... [Chuckles] It's all right. I'll get over it.
Theresa: And I don't know what's ahead. But you know what?
Theresa: I know you and Tate and I are going to have a great life.
Brady: You can count on that.
Philip: Try to think positively. You got a clean bill of health today. The headaches, the blood pressure, both caused by stress.
Chloe: Look, I appreciate you trying to cheer me up, but it's not gonna work. I mean, there's nothing left for us to do. Deimos wins, it's over.
Philip: No! We'll figure this out together. We're family now.
Nicole: [Scoffs] Did you see all those black sedans outside? And look at us, we're just sitting here, eating BLTs, like it's any other day.
Deimos: I want you to feel safe.
Nicole: I do.
Deimos: I'm thinking about sending you off on a business trip.
Nicole: What? Oh, no, no. You're trying to get me out of Salem? Forget it. I'm not running away, so let's just talk about something else. So what happened at Chloe's doctor's appointment? You said it went great. Why?
Deimos: All right, look. I know that you're friends with Chloe.
Deimos: And that you're convinced that she's telling the truth the Philip is the father of her baby. I'm just as convinced that she's not.
Nicole: I thought you were gonna let all this go.
Deimos: I can't. Not until I know for sure.
Nicole: What does that mean?
Deimos: I got a court order. The doctor's running a paternity test. We'll have the results today.
Philip: You can't give up.
Chloe: If you try to get into that lab in the middle of the day, they will arrest you.
Philip: Don't try to stop me.
Chloe: Philip, please. Come on.
[Cell phone rings]
Philip: It's my mother.
Philip: [Clears throat] What do you want?
Kate: That discussion we had while you were here.
Philip: What about it?
