Episode #12891 ~ Hope has a medical crisis; Brady questions Victor's involvement in Tate's kidnapping; Aiden stands by his innocence; Summer makes an emotional appeal to Theresa.

Provided By Suzanne

Deimos: Now I'm in. That better be the last of it.

Kate: Or what? What are you gonna do to me? You have nothing left to hold over my head. You told the police the riverbank was an accident. Our marriage is being annulled. You gave away all your leverage.

Deimos: You really think that, huh? And that confuses you, or does it frighten you?

Kate: It bores me.

Deimos: Really? Well, maybe this will stimulate you. You try and cross me again, Kate, and you'll see what else I can still do.

Kate: [Laughs] You still think you're untouchable. Unbreakable.

Deimos: Goodbye, Kate.

Belle: I'll go see hope later this afternoon.

Shawn: She'll like that. I'm gonna be working double shifts until we find Tate.

Belle: So are they really bringing summer back from Vegas? I mean, if she took the baby, why would she come back?

Shawn: Well, that's Brady's question. She said she's gonna help try to find the real kidnapper.

Belle: Theresa thinks it's Victor?

Shawn: They're all over the place, both of them.

Belle: God, I remember that. Well, Theresa and Brady's relationship will be lucky if it survives this.

[Phone rings]

Brady: Brady black. No, he's right here. Some client.

John: I'll get rid of him. Yeah.

Brady: Well, where's summer?

Paul: She's still asleep in the next room. And yes, there's a guard on her 24/7.

Brady: The only exit is through this room, right?

Paul: You really think she's gonna try and bolt?

Brady: Paul, I don't know. She swears she's innocent, but she thinks it's Victor's doing.

Paul: You thought so too.

Brady: Till I talked to Maggie. Now I don't know what the hell to think.

John: All right, well, that obviously wasn't the kidnapper.

Brady: Dad, I don't understand it. Come on, if they want something--if they want a ransom, they got to contact us, right?

Steve: Brought reinforcements.

John: Right. What'd you find?

Steve: Well, I tracked through that Chopin group directory. These people are either arrogant or stupid if they think no one's gonna notice half those names are dead composers.

Brady: What about the other half?

Steve: Less clumsy aliases, but aliases.

Brady: Well, I mean, what do we do? Do we chase them? Or do we just lean on Victor? Do we lean on summer? What do we do?

John: All right, Steve, you have been looking at the same stuff we're looking at here. Okay, you got fresh eyes. What's your gut?

Steve: Victor or summer? I don't know. I mean, either one could look good for it.

Victor: Any word on the kidnapper? Get anything out of summer?

Theresa: Don't I need to be in a dark room or in your office or something to be hypnotized?

Marlena: No, you don't. All you have to do is focus.

Theresa: Okay.

Marlena: I thought-- I thought you'd be more comfortable here, so why don't you sit down?

Theresa: Right. I mean, does this work? Like, do people recover real memories, or...

Marlena: Well, it certainly happens. Not always every time. I've had a lot of success.

Theresa: Yeah, my mom said you helped her a lot, so that's why I called. Okay, okay, so let's do this. So, uh, listen. Do I start with making the protein drink or when I took Tate to the park, or where do we...

Marlena: Theresa, we'll get to it.

Theresa: Okay, but now. Please? I mean, Tate's already been gone for so long, and--look, if we don't find him soon, just-- let's just do this, okay? Please? Can you just put me under now? Please?

Nicole: Yeah, so I'm just thinking of one of these styles, but that was off the top of my head. But whatever designer you hire might have a different take.

Dario: Yeah, well, they'll take their orders from me. And I like where you're going with this. What about this area here between the bar and the office? What do you think about--

Nicole: It's a little dark over there.

Deimos: Can I speak with you? Alone?

Kate: [Sighs]

[Dramatic music]

[Piano music]

[Dramatic music]

Belle: We got very lucky after Claire was taken.

Shawn: Yeah, well, it could've gone either way. Even though we did find her.

Belle: Well, I will remind Brady he and Theresa should be kind to each other.

Shawn: Can't hurt.

Belle: [Chuckles] Will you be working when your mom gets out of the hospital or do you want me to take her home?

Shawn: I'm not sure. We haven't even gotten there yet. The doctor said she's gonna make a full recovery, but they don't have an exact release date set.

Belle: Do you want me to bring her something?

Shawn: No, don't worry about it. Rafe's all over it.

Belle: Mm.

André: And I'm sure he's all over hope. Goodness, I was just wondering whether I should drop by the hospital with flowers.

Shawn: If you go near my mother, you son of a bitch, you're gonna regret it.

André: Oh, please. Hope Brady has nine lives, unlike your father.

Shawn: Or your father.

Steve: Okay. We're looking at--

Brady: At everything. We're looking at everything. Is there anything you want to tell me, grandpa?

Victor: Yes. I would never torture you this way, Brady. I would especially never use

Brady: You hate summer and you hate Theresa.

Victor: True. But I don't need to steal a child to deal with them.

Steve: Victor, if there's anything you know that can help...

Victor: I'm glad you're here, Steve. Focus on summer. She'll try and lie her way out of it. She's a con artist. That's what she does.

Brady: She's agreed to help us in any way she can.

Victor: Mm-hmm. You know people, you have sources. So do I. We'll get her to crack.

Marlena: Okay, Theresa, you've got your protein drink in your hand. You've got Tate in the stroller. Are you leaving now?

Theresa: No. Brady comes in and we-- we have... not a fight, but he... he doesn't want me to work so hard when I'm tired, and... I tell him I have a protein drink with a big jolt of caffeine and I'll be fine. And we go.

Marlene: You and Tate. You go where?

Theresa: Little park off the square. Nothing happens on the way. Everything's normal.

Marlena: Good. Are you there now?

Theresa: I'm on a bench. Tate's in his stroller. I'm trying to get work done and... so tired. I take a few sips of my drink. Anne comes in, and... I... I don't know what she's saying. I just--I'm so tired. I'm trying to stay awake, and... she leaves, but I'm so tired. I'M... I can't stay awake.

Marlena: Okay, Theresa, I need you to focus. Look at Tate for me. He's in his stroller. Tell me when you can see him clearly.

Theresa: Okay.

Marlena: Good. Now look up from the stroller. Tell me what you see.

Theresa: I thought it was a shadow, but there's a person. There's a person up by the hedges. I--there's definitely a person.

Marlena: Okay, Theresa, stay focused. I want you to look at that person. Tell me what you see.

Dario: No.

Nicole: What is it?

Deimos: Is there somewhere more private? Someplace we can talk?

Nicole: Yes. Let's take a walk. I'll be back soon.

Can you make this fast please? I was in the middle of something.

Deimos: Yes, you certainly were.

Nicole: What is that supposed to mean?

Deimos: Kate is out. She's out of the mansion, out of my business, out of my life in every single way.

Nicole: And you dragged me out here for that? Huh. And I'm supposed to care why?

Deimos: Because you do. Care.

Nicole: About? [Sighs] You know what? Forget it. I can't believe you would even-- I can't.

Deimos: Don't. Don't. Don't run. Nicole, there has to be a way for us to wipe the slate clean. Let's do it. Let's start over.

[Dramatic music]

Kate: [Sighs] [Sighs] Hey, it's me. Call me when you get this message? I'd like to talk.

Marlena: Theresa, can you see the person? Are you sure it's a person?

Theresa: Yes, yes. It's a person. Definitely.

Marlena: Good. Is it a man or woman?

Theresa: I can't--

Marlena: Okay, okay. Tell me what they're wearing.

Theresa: Dark... dark clothes.

Maybe a hat?

Marlena: Good. Can you see under the hat? Can you see any part of a face?

Theresa: No, not yet, but they're moving. They're coming. They're moving toward me and the stroller and Tate. And...

Marlena: What's happening?

Theresa: I don't-- I can't see. It's like there's-- it's like it's black, like there's a black fog. It's--

Marlena: Okay, okay. We'll lift the fog.

Theresa: [Sighs]

Marlena: I want you to focus on the person.

Theresa: Okay.

Marlena: With every step they take, you can see their face more and more clearly. Are you with me?

Theresa: Mm-hmm.

Marlena: Tell me what you see.

Theresa: They're moving, but it's-- it's so slow. It's-- [Sighs]

Marlena: It's okay. It's okay. We'll get there. What's happening?

Theresa: I-- it's-- no! No.

Nicole: No. No way, Deimos.

Deimos: Don't. Don't say that.

Nicole: What?

Deimos: You don't want to say that.

Nicole: I have an idea. Why don't you stop telling me what I want and what I don't want? Please.

Deimos: Okay, fine. You tell me. What do you want? You want to see me as a man you can trust?

Nicole: That's a loaded question, and it's not even possible.

Deimos: Why?

Nicole: Why? What have you done that's been trustworthy? You played me.

Deimos: I played you?

Nicole: Yes, you-- yes, you did. You worked me, and you came so close to letting me go to jail for your murder.

Deimos: That is not true.

Nicole: [Scoffs] Okay. If I hadn't found you, where would you be right now? You know what? Don't even tell me. I don't want to know.

Deimos: Trust me, I wasn't going to, but I am telling you this, all right?

Nicole: Yeah, you tell me.

Deimos, why should I believe you? Why should anyone believe you?

Deimos: You know something? You're right. You need actions. Okay, fine. I gonna prove it to you, starting now.

Theresa: I just-- I can't believe it! I saw them, and I just-- I--there was, like-- it was like a door slammed. It was nothing.

Marlena: Theresa, you were drugged.

Theresa: Yes, I know that, but I saw the kidnapper, right? I mean, it had to be them. I mean--

Marlena: The fog you talked about, it began to lift, right?

Theresa: Yes.

Marlena: Then I'm sure there's more information we can get.

Theresa: Okay, well, then why did you wake me up? Let's go. Let's do this.

Marlena: No, no, not now.

Theresa: But--

Marlena: I need you to relax and collect yourself. I'm sure we can find out more the next session.

Theresa: Yeah, okay. What--well, when is that? I mean, come on, I saw the kidnapper, right? I mean, I could id them.

Marlena: Well... I'm not sure, but I think you saw something that may be a clue, and we will get to that.

Theresa: Okay, when? When can we do the next session?

Marlena: Let's wait a couple hours. Calm yourself down.

Theresa: I will. I will. I know I-- I know I can't pin all my hopes on this.

Marlena: Yes, that's very wise of you. And please don't pressure yourself more.

Theresa: Okay. I won't. All right, so, uh... listen, I'll call you in a few hours, right?

Marlena: Good. Theresa, how's Brady?

Theresa: He's on edge. Out of his mind, same as me.

Marlena: Try to be gentle with each other.

Theresa: It's just all that matters right now is finding Tate, you know, and Brady and I, we'll--we'll just-- we'll figure that out.

Marlena: You know, this might be a little easier if you talk about your feelings. Don't bottle them up inside. If you can't come here and talk to me, then talk to Brady.

Theresa: I love him so much. I really do, but, I mean, Marlena, if we don't find our son... it's just, how do you-- how do you live through that? I mean, can you-- can you? I mean... can our love survive?

Victor: I know rewards aren't a good idea, but if you need any money for anything. Of course, I don't have the resources I used to, but whatever you need, I can get my hands on.

John: Theresa already offered a reward. It's all been a bust.

Victor: It'll have much more of an impact coming from me. Keep me posted.

Steve: Sure.

Brady: No one tells him anything. Not a word. It's still even money that he's behind this.

Steve: Maybe.

John: Hey, partner, before Vick came in, you were gonna say something. What was it?

Steve: Okay, look... you were right. I am the only one who's coming at this with a little distance. Now, Victor and summer, they're obvious suspects. But too obvious, I think. Then there's this Chopin outfit in the middle. Now, I thought that was just a shell corporation to try and lead us down a blind alley. But they're real. So what are they doing in the middle? This isn't a simple abduction.

Philip: It'll get easier.

Chloe: What?

Philip: Seeing Deimos with Nicole.

Chloe: No, it's not about Nicole. It's about seeing Deimos at all.

Philip: Hazard of a small town. We all run into people we'd rather not.

Marlena: Oh, hi.

Kate: Hey. You sounded surprised when I called.

[Mellow instrumental music]

Marlena: We haven't really talked much since will's funeral.

Kate: I know. I know. I've been... I've been occupied, you know? Kind of out of my mind. I'll just get-- get right to it. I've done it again, that thing that I always do. What makes me always go to the wrong man time after time?

Marlena: Are you asking your friend or a therapist? 'Cause I can-- I can give you sympathy, or I can give you some advice.

Kate: Whoever will give me an answer. I'll even pick up the bill. So go ahead. Just--just tell me.

Marlena: So you want the cold, hard truth?

Kate: I'm a big girl. Let me have it.

Marlena: You don't have good relationships because you don't think you deserve them.

Kate: [Scoffs] Why not? Why not? Believe me, I got over the shame of my early choice in careers a long time ago. I know I've hurt people, but it was never for sport. I did for a reason.

Marlena: Yes, there were reasons. But not the ones you think.

Nicole: Well, don't break your back making some grand gesture for me.

Deimos: This wouldn't be a gesture.

Nicole: It's not gonna change anything either. I mean, what do you think's gonna happen?

Deimos: Nicole, stop. You know I care about you.

Nicole: Care?

Deimos: Mm-hmm.

Nicole: You don't care about anyone. You can't. And maybe you loved Helena, but that was 30 years ago, and that's exactly when it ended. Nothing you did or said was about me at all.

Deimos: Maybe that was true. Before.

[Light instrumental music]

Deimos: Before I saw the real woman, the woman in front of me right now.

Nicole: I see your lips moving. That's it.

Deimos: Nicole, I am a different man, and I am gonna prove it to you.

[Dramatic music]

Real cheese people

Marlena: Look, you've always said that you want to protect your boys, but then you end up in situations where they have to turn away from you. You choose men that are going to hurt you, and then those relationships are doomed.

[Mellow instrumental music]

Kate: I like complicated men. They're attractive.

Marlena: I know they are.

Kate: That doesn't mean I have a deep-seated need to see relationships fail.

Marlena: Unless they always do seem to fail.

Kate: [Groans]

Marlena: Oh, we don't have to do this.

Kate: No! I-- no, I asked.

Marlena: Okay. You don't seem to like men that are simply complicated. [Chuckles] They're simply criminals. [Laughs]

Both: [Laughing]

Kate: No, they're powerful.

Marlena: Okay, okay, they're powerful. And know that's attractive.

Maybe you think they can protect you. Or maybe you think if you-- you take them on, it's a bigger win for you.

Kate: Wow. You've thought about this almost more than I have.

Marlena: Almost?

Kate: [Laughs] Why?

Marlena: I had to 'cause for a while you were Sami's adversary.

Kate: Yeah. So were you.

Marlena: Oh, sure. From time to time. You don't have to live like this. You can break this cycle. People can change.

Kate: You know, at this stage, I think I would be happy just to make real amends with my children.

Marlena: Mm. We can work on that.

Kate: Professionally?

Marlena: If you like. You can make an appointment, you can come to my office and we'll do it, or you can call me for coffee. I'll come here and you can-- you can gripe and grouse and I'll listen and then you're free to ignore my advice.

Kate: Isn't that a lot like therapy?

Marlena: [Laughs]

[Phone beeps]

Marlena: Thank you again. Oh, you know what? I've got to go. I've got to get back to the hospital. This appointment came up before I knew we were meeting for coffee.

Kate: No, no. Of course. I'll be fine.

Marlena: Call me.

Kate: Yes, I will. Oh, and I'll pick up this check.

Marlena: Oh, thank you.

Kate: [Sighs]

André: Well, how are you doing this morning?

[Dramatic music]

Kate: What do you want?

André: Breakfast. So what was the insufferably good dr. Evans doing here?

Kate: We were having a little chat.

André: Oh. Buddies, are you? Oh, come on, Kate. You were here with a shrink. Why pay her when I can give you better advice for free?

Nicole: I'm not-- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to keep you waiting. Let's go back to the club.

Dario: No, that's okay. We can hang here.

Nicole: But I thought we have a lot to cover before we meet with the designer.

Dario: Like you could focus on swatches right now? Relax. It's a beautiful day. We have time. Take a moment to regroup.

Nicole: I don't need a moment. I'm grouped. I'm fine.

Dario: Yeah?

Nicole: Yeah.

Dario: What's happened with Deimos?

Nicole: Nothing. [Sighs]

[Dramatic music]

Dario: He came here to tell you something.

Nicole: Just the same old bull.

Dario: Really?

Nicole: Mm-hmm. Look, I don't need to talk about Deimos, and I know how you feel about him.

Dario: And I know how you feel about him.

Yeah, that's the number. You give Brady a call, he'll definitely make it worth your while. Yeah.

Brady: Who was that?

Steve: That was a messenger for the Chopin group.

John: Oh, now we're talking.

Paul: A real person? No alias?

Steve: Yeah, a real guy. Real nervous guy. I couldn't get much out of him, but he did agree to talk to Brady for a price.

Brady: All right. All right, when are we doing this? Now?

Steve: I gave him the number in the office right here. You answer anything on four-six. We'll try to record him, maybe get a trace. If we keep quiet, he won't know the difference.

Brady: [Sighs]

Theresa: You won't believe what just happened. It's amazing.

[Phone ringing]

Theresa: I--I saw them, or something. I mean, it's still hazy but--

Brady: Shh. Yeah, hello?

Theresa: Why is he answering?

Brady: No, no, we don't need supplies. Telemarketer for God's sakes.

Theresa: Okay, Brady, look, I don't know if you heard me, but I saw something in my session with Marlena. I mean, it's still fuzzy, but it could be the kidnappers, you know? It could be a real lead.

Brady: That's--that's great, Theresa. That's--that's great.

Theresa: "That's great"?

[Dramatic music]

That's it? Come on, Brady, don't shut me out.

Belle: Hey, Chloe.

Chloe: Hey, guys.

Shawn: Hey.

Belle: I didn't know you were back in town. Did Parker come with you?

Chloe: Yeah, but he's with a friend right now.

Belle: Oh, well, that must be nice that they can visit. He must miss his friends.

Philip: Not anymore. Chloe's moved back.

Belle: Really?

Chloe: Yeah, it's true.

Philip: I signed her to my label. She's going to be my first star.

Chloe: Well, we'll see how the market is.

Belle: Yeah, it's tricky.

Philip: Come on, Adele's the biggest star in the world right now. Style like Chloe's will break out too.

Belle: I didn't know that you wanted a recording career, Chloe.

Chloe: Well, I didn't, but Philip convinced me that it's doable, even with Parker.

Philip: We'll make it work. And she will make us a lot of money.

Chloe: Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves here. We'll see how it goes.

Philip: Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you're here to stay.

Kate: I don't want your advice, André.

André: So you prefer to hear the self-actualization drivel Marlena hands out? "Love yourself. Forgive thyself."

Kate: You don't even know what we were talking about.

André: People don't want to change, Kate. And you're a fool to even want that.

Kate: Who said that I do?

André: Well, what would you change? You're perfect the way you are. Besides, the world needs the Kates and Andrés.

Kate: [Chuckles] I just love how you put us in the same category.

André: Well, we're two of a kind. Oh, come on. You find scraps of acceptance. I can't escape the DiMera name. But you... [Sighs] Must feel when they look at you. You-- you must.

Kate: I don't give a damn what people think of me.

André: But you do feel it, the judgment?

Kate: What's got into, André?

André: I'm just tired of those little insects that dwell in this town that ruin my picnic.

Kate: Well, there's sprays for that. You know that I know that Deimos has kicked you to the curb.

Kate: Go away.

André: You want that little ex-con to get away with the best of you?

You don't want the revenge?

Kate: Maybe I've reconsidered.

André: Have you? And here I am thinking that you and I are perfectly positioned to teach the people in this bloody town a lesson they will never forget.

Nicole: I told you. I don't feel anything for Deimos.

Dario: Look, can we just have one honest conversation about this guy? He gets to you. I get that, but I don't get why. I mean, I see how he looks at you, but guys have been doing that your whole life. Am I right?

Nicole: I wouldn't say that, no.

Dario: Oh, yes, they have, and they always will. So why? With what you know about Deimos, what is it about this guy that gets to you?

[Knocking on door]

[Dramatic music]

Deimos: Now, is that any way to greet a brother back from the dead?

Victor: Go back to hell. The sooner the better.

Brady: There--there might be a call coming through.

Theresa: Yeah, okay, Brady, but I'm trying--helping.

[Phone ringing]

Theresa: You know? I mean, do you not get this? I might be able to--

Brady: Shh. Shh. Brady black.

Theresa: What, does nobody understand? I might be able to id the guy we're trying to catch!

Brady: No. No, no, no one's trying to catch, and-- hel-- damn it. That was him. That was him.

Theresa: Who?

John: That was him?

Brady: It was him. He was nervous.

Theresa: Wait, who?

Brady: Can-- can we call him back?

Steve: Depends on what he used. Paul?

Paul: Well, if it was a burner, it would be hard to trace.

John: We'll have the number.

Brady: Okay, okay. Get the number. Call him back right away.

Theresa: Wait, guys, what is going--

Brady: No, Theresa, please!

Paul: Okay, got it. Dialing it now through extension four-six.

[Phone beeps]

Brady: All right, it's ringing. It's ringing.

Theresa: Brady, what is going--

Brady: Theresa, God! Just stop talking!

About this guy? You really want that? You want him?

Nicole: No, I-- [Sighs] I can't explain. I--

[Dramatic music]

Nicole: I don't know what he does to me or why.

Dario: Whatever it is, you don't look happy.

Nicole: I'm not.

Dario: So stop. Let Deimos go. Forget about him. Let me help you.

Nicole: Dario... it--it wouldn't be right and it wouldn't be fair to you.

Dario: Sure it would. It'll be fun.

Nicole: [Scoffs]

Dario: Hmm?

Nicole: I--I can't.

Dario: Don't-- don't say that-- don't say that until you hear what I have in mind.

Kate: Sorry to disappoint you, but I have decided I no longer have any use for vengeance.

André: So Marlena did shrink you, did she? One short session and you're morphed into Mother Teresa. Well, hats off to the good doctor.

Kate: I am so tired.

André: Well, you'll get your second wind. Besides, you have an ally.

Kate: For a price.

André: Of course. Well, there's no surprise there. You help me, I help you.

Kate: I no longer have a fortune to spend.

André: So we'll just have to be more creative in what we plan next.

Kate: I have no fortune to spend on you.

André: [Sighs] [Sobs mockingly] I understood. No money for me.

Kate: Why are you still here? What do you want?

André: Companionship. Partner in crime.

Chloe: Bye, guys. See you later.

Shawn: See you.

Belle: Bye. What?

Shawn: What? Isn't that a great sight? Philip and Chloe together again?

Belle: I think it's a business arrangement.

Shawn: No, it's starting out that way, but they have a history together. I don't know about you, but I saw sparks.

Belle: Really? And that makes you grin?

Shawn: Well, you wanted Philip to leave you alone and so did I. Now he's got somebody to focus attention on, right?

Victor: Get out.

Deimos: No. You got your wish, Victor. The brother you knew is dead. Standing before you is another man. A changed man.

Victor: I don't have time.

Deimos: There's always time. Time for you and I to make peace. Truly. And this time, I'm not giving up until we do.

Paul: And it's possible that the Chopin group could lead us to who has Tate now.

Theresa: Oh.

Brady: He's not picking up.

Theresa: [Sighs] So this guy-- this guy could've taken us right now? He could've taken us right now to where Tate is?

Paul: Maybe.

Theresa: Yeah, but it was...

Steve: We don't know that.

Theresa: A real lead? I mean, I cost us a real lead.

Steve: Theresa, come on now.

Theresa: But I saw a shadow. I saw a shadow when Marlena hypnotized me, and I just--I thought--

John: You know what? That could matter down the line if you remember more.

Theresa: Yeah, maybe.

Brady: Hey, baby, baby, this guy--this guy could've been a dead end. We don't know. We don't--

Theresa: But I blew it, Brady.

Brady: No you didn't.

Theresa: [Sobs]

Brady: Stop. Shh. You didn't blow it. You didn't blow it. It's not your fault. It's not your fault.

Theresa: [Sobbing]

Brady: Shh.

Theresa: [Sobbing]

Stephen: And now, here performing "Bored to Death," ladies and gentlemen, Blink 182.

(Cheers and applause)

There's an echo pulling out the meaning rescuing a nightmare from a dream the voices in my head are always screaming that none of this means anything to me and it's a long way back from seventeen the whispers turn into a scream and I-- I'm not coming home save your breath, I'm nearly bored to death and fading fast life is too short to last long back on earth I'm broken lost and cold and fading fast life is too short to last long there's a stranger staring at the ceiling rescuing a tiger from a tree the pictures in her head are always dreaming each of them means everything to me and it's a long way back from seventeen the whispers turn into a scream and I I'm not coming home save your breath, I'm nearly bored to death and fading fast life is too short to last long back on earth I'm broken lost back on earth I'm broken lost and cold and fading fast life is too short to last long oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh I think I met her at the minute that the rhythm was set down I said I'm sorry I'm a bit of a let down but all my friends are daring me to come over so I come over and over and over so let me buy you a drink and we'll pretend that you think that I'm the man of your dreams come to life in a dive bar and we'll go over and over and over and we'll go over and over and over and we'll go over and over and over and we'll go over and over and over save your breath, I'm nearly bored to death and fading fast life is too short to last long back on earth I'm broken lost lost and cold and fading fast life is too short to last long oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh life is too short to last long oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh

(Cheers and applause)
