Rafe: Okay. Microwave popcorn, diet soda.

Hope: Oops.

Rafe: Oh, boy.

Hope: Here, let me help you.

Rafe: And if we really want '80s ambiance, I think we need to fire up the VCR.

Hope: Oh, my God, I love that, let's do it.

Rafe: Let's do it.

Hope: You know what, I think I still have all of my old "Remington Steele" tapes upstairs, I'm gonna go get them. [Laughs]

Rafe: No, you're not.

Hope: I'm kidding. I'm kidding.

Rafe: Okay, good.

Hope: I wouldn't do that to you, I promise.

Rafe: Thank you.

Hope: Let's see what we have. How about-- how about "lethal weapon"?

Rafe: Perfect.

Hope: What do you say, yeah?

Rafe: Yeah, love it.

Hope: Okay. [Laughs] That was good, I got ya. [Laughs]

Rafe: It's good to hear you laugh again.

Hope: Well, it's good to laugh again.

[Phone beeps]

Chad: How's Thomas?

Jennifer: He's still sleeping. What about Abigail? How is she?

[Woman moaning]

[Eerie music]

[Tires squealing]

[Gunfire]

[Movie stops]

Rafe: What are you doing?

Hope: I'm pausing the movie. How many times have you seen it?

Rafe: 37.

Hope: 38.

Rafe: Really?

Hope: Yeah, but who's counting? You want a refill?

Rafe: No. It's really not that good.

Hope: No, it's awful, isn't it? [Chuckles]

Rafe: This your high school yearbook?

Hope: Yeah, Ciara wanted to see my prom dress.

Rafe: Oh.

Hope: Gosh, I hope she's having a good time.

Rafe: I'm sure she is.

Hope: Wait a minute, what are you doing?

Rafe: Wh--what are you doing?

Hope: You can't see this, no.

Rafe: Why not?

Hope: Rafe--

Rafe: Why not?

Hope: Rafael, no, because it's embarrassing.

Rafe: Oh, come on, would you just--please.

Hope: Please, don't, please. Oh, my gosh, no!

Rafe: Thank you. Thank you.

Hope: [Chuckles]

Rafe: Come on. Live a little. Wow.

Hope: Wow? What do you mean, wow? My hair--

Rafe: Gorgeous. Gorgeous is what.

Hope: No, no, not gorgeous. My hair is bigger than new jersey.

Rafe: No, it's more like the size of Texas, really.

Hope: Give me this book. You've seen it now.

Rafe: Come on, hey, come on, I lived through the '80s too, you know. I had the popped collar, the skinny tie, mullet.

Hope: Mullet?

Rafe: Yeah, that was-- let's not get into it. Okay, I'll tell you what. You let me see that picture of you in your prom dress--

Hope: If I get to see you in your prom tux? Deal?

Rafe: Mm, sorry. I didn't buy a yearbook.

Hope: Why not?

Rafe: Well, I didn't have the money, okay? What I was gonna say--

Hope: Sorry.

Rafe: It's okay. But what I was gonna say is I get to see the picture of you if I win our bet.

Hope: What bet?

Rafe: I name your senior superlatives, okay? So... most beautiful, right? And prom queen, of course.

Hope: You peeked.

Rafe: I didn't--what do you mean, I pee--I did not peek.

Hope: You cheated.

Rafe: I'm a detective. It's the most obvious choices. And I win. I win--do I not? Thank you.

Hope: [Laughs] Yeah, you win.

Rafe: Wow.

Hope: [Laughs]

Rafe: Look at you.

Chad: Leaving Abby there, uh... was the hardest thing that I've ever had to do. I can only imagine how much worse it was for her.

Jennifer: What happened?

Chad: On the way over there she didn't say a word to me. And then...when we got there...

Abigail: What's taking them so long?

Chad: I don't know. I don't know, it must be a shift change. I'm sure it won't be much longer.

Abigail: I want to go home.

Chad: I know.

Abigail: I want to go home now.

Chad: I know, and I wish you could. Abby, you know you need to do this. You promised you would, for me and for Thomas, but most importantly, yourself. Okay? You're gonna get the help that you need, and then before you know it, you'll be home.

Abigail: No, Chad, look. See, I made a mistake.

Chad: No.

Abigail: No, I did, I made a mistake, and I--

Chad: Whoa, whoa, shh.

Abigail: No, I just--please, I don't want to be here. Listen, I can't--

I'm sorry for the delay. The doctor's dealing with an emergency.

Chad: One second, I'll be--

Abigail: What's happening?

Chad: One second. This is an emergency.

Sir, I understand. If she just could be patient a little bit longer--

Chad: Do you know who I am? Go and get the doctor. Never thought I'd have to throw around my last name to lock up the woman I love.

[Dramatic music]

Rafe: Oh, my-- I think the editor had a crush on you. You're practically on every page.

Hope: Haven't you seen enough? Huh?

Rafe: Hmm? No. Come on, a bet's a bet, isn't it?

Hope: Mm-hmm.

Rafe: What is it that you don't--

Both: Oh, my God.

Rafe: What? Is that a colander on your head?

Hope: It is, it's a colander.

Rafe: Wha--

Hope: It was spirit week, and well, obviously, you can tell I was a Martian.

Rafe: Yeah.

Hope: Yeah.

Rafe: The most adorable alien I've ever seen.

Hope: This is totally unfair, you realize.

Rafe: Is it?

Hope: Mm-hmm. You know what I'm gonna do?

Rafe: Hmm?

Hope: I'm going to go to St. Cecilia's and I am going to find a copy of your yearbook in the school library. In fact, I'm gonna find all four of them.

Rafe: You should do that, detective, you really should, but let me warn you, I'm barely in it at all. The editor didn't even know who I was.

Hope: What was wrong with her?

Rafe: Him.

Hope: Him?

Rafe: Mm-hmm.

Hope: I'm sure every girl in school had a crush on you.

Rafe: Yeah?

Hope: Yeah. And I bet if I looked on the superlative page under best looking, I'd find you.

Rafe: Mm-mm.

Hope: Mm-hmm.

Rafe: No, I don't think so, because between the rad mullet, the fact that I weighed 115 pounds, and I rotated the same three outfits every day, no. The only person who knew who I was was sister Agnes. And thank God she did, or I wouldn't have graduated.

Hope: Yeah, I have a hard time believing you weren't on the superlative page.

Rafe: Hmm. Why?

Hope: 'Cause you're kind of superlative to me.

Rafe: Mm. Are those scrunchie socks?

Hope: [Laughs]

JJ: You did what you had to do, yeah.

Jennifer: Did she go voluntarily?

Chad: She was so scared.

Robinson: I'm sorry for the delay, Mr. DiMera.

Chad: What do I do if my wife doesn't want to sign these papers?

Robinson: Well, I thought she agreed to a voluntary confinement.

Chad: Yeah, she did, but the more she sits in this waiting room, she's getting freaked out, she wants to go home, she wants to be with our son.

Robinson: Dr. Evans could have the court commit her without her consent if it comes to that.

Chad: Wait, wait, commit, wha--

Robinson: We may have to sedate her if she resists.

Chad: No. No, it's not gonna come to that.

Abigail: Did you tell her that I want to go home? Chad, this is a mistake. It's just a big mistake. Look, I know I made a-- I know I did a horrible thing, but I know that I did it, so I wouldn't do anything like that every again, obviously. I know that.

Chad: Abby--

Abigail: No, but, Chad, come on.

Chad: I know.

Abigail: Chad, I love you.

Chad: I know.

Abigail: I love you so much. I know... I know that you love me.

Chad: Abby--

Abigail: If you love me like you say that you do...

Chad: I do.

Abigail: Then I know you're not gonna make me go through this. Hey, Chad.

Chad: Stop.

Abigail: I know you're not gonna make me do this. Just take me home. Just take me home.

Chad: Abby, stop.

Abigail: Take me home.

Chad: Stop, stop, stop, stop.

Abigail: Take me home.

Chad: Stop.

Abigail: Just take me home.

Chad: I tried to... convince her that... it was because I love her so much. She broke my heart. So I thought that maybe-- maybe we could give the therapy with Marlena another try, because things are different now and Ben's gone, and--and... she's got a nanny for Thomas and she's got plenty of support here at home.

Jennifer: But I could be her support. Can we please just--just give it another try?

Jade: [Laughs] Hi.

Joey: Glad I got the right window.

Jade: Me too. So...I was planning stuff for L.A.

Joey: You really want to talk about L.A. Right now?

Jade: No.

Joey: Good.

Chad: Jennifer, I know that what is happening is your family's worst nightmare. Okay, and I-- I started to have second thoughts. I did. But then--

Jennifer: What? Then what?

[Dramatic music]

Abigail: No, he's-- that's--he's not--

Chad: What, what?

Abigail: He's--

Chad: Who? What?

Abigail: It's Ben, he's here.

Chad: Where?

Abigail: Look, he's right there. It's Ben, you see?

Chad: What?

Abigail: He's there, he's standing there. He's right there, see him?

Chad: Where?

Abigail: Right there, don't you see him? He's standing right--

Chad: That's--

Abigail: He's right there, he's--

Chad: That's--that's not-- that--

Abigail: What? He's-- you can't leave me here with him. You have to take me--you--

Chad: That's not him.

Abigail: No, you have to take me home, I can't-- I can't stay here with him alone, you can't--

Chad: Abby, please.

Abigail: You can't leave me here.

Chad: Abby, breathe.

Abigail: No, you--no, you need to take me home. I cannot stay here.

Chad: That guy looks like-- and that's not Ben. Ben is in prison, he's locked up.

Abigail: You lied to me about that before.

Chad: Abby, no, that's not him.

Abigail: So I'm just hallucinating? Is that what you mean, I'm hallucinating?

Robinson: Abigail, Abigail.

Abigail: [Sobs]

Robinson: Abigail, right now you're visualizing your fears. You had every reason to be afraid, but as you work on regulating your system, and you begin to realize that Ben is no longer a threat, these visions will subside.

Chad: Abby-- Abby, all the doctors here, they just want to get you better, okay? So you can come back home. Hey, I need you to sign this, okay? So you can come home.

Abigail: [Sobs]

Chad: It's okay.

Abigail: [Sobs]

Chad: Please, you need to sign them. Here.

Abigail: [Sobs]

Chad: That's good. That's good, that's good.

Abigail: My s--

Chad: That's good.

Abigail: The only reason I signed that is because I love Thomas and I love--

Chad: I know.

Abigail: But I'm not...

Chad: I know.

Abigail: Supposed to be here. [Sobbing]

Chad: It took so much strength for her to make that decision. She wants to get better.

JJ: She had every reason to do it, mom.

Chad: Dr. Robinson said that patients with her level of support have the best chances of making it. She's gonna get better.

Jennifer: Did he give you a timeline?

Chad: No. No, they didn't. But she's safe. She's getting good care. This is the best thing that we could do for her.

[Thomas cries]

Jennifer: Oh.

Chad: Hey. I got it, I got it. Hi. Hi, it's okay. Oh. Yeah. I miss your mommy too, buddy. She's gonna be home soon though.

Rafe: Amazing. You're just--

A $50 value free. Call 1-800-810-8998.

[Both laughing]

You'll lose at least 2 inches off your waist in the first three days.

Hope: Why are the commercials always so loud?

Rafe: Oh, yeah, right?

Hope: Why do they do that?

Rafe: Guess the movie got tired of waiting for us.

Hope: Or...maybe this film is a little too much like real life right now.

Rafe: Oh, my God, I'm sorry. That's--you're right. Let's lighten it up, shall we?

Hope: Mm-hmm. Okay, oh, um, how about-- what do you think about "Robocop"?

Rafe: Mm.

Hope: Oh, "Turner & Hooch"? What about that?

Rafe: Too drooly.

Hope: Definitely too drooly.

Rafe: "Beverly Hills Cop"?

Hope: "Beverly Hills Cop," let's do it.

Jade: [Chuckles]

Joey: Sorry.

Jade: [Laughs] This isn't your first time, is it?

Joey: Uh, yeah, it is. [Chuckles] I know it's not yours, and that's cool.

Jade: No, it's mine too.

Chad: Thank you for watching Thomas today. I know you guys must be as exhausted as we are. You should maybe go home and get some rest.

Jennifer: Please, let me just take him for one night, and then you can get some rest.

Chad: No, it's okay, I won't get much sleep until Abby comes home.

Jennifer: Okay, I understand. Just call me if you need anything, please.

JJ: Hang in there, man. Hey. Come on, mom.

Chad: That's okay. We're gonna be okay. We're gonna be okay.

[Door opening]

Abigail: They took everything. Excuse me. I need my phone. I need to call my husband. Please?

Good evening, Mrs. DiMera. What can we do for you?

Abigail: I just need my phone. I need to call home please.

I'm sorry, not tonight.

Abigail: What do you mean? I just want to call him for a minute, I just-- 'cause I miss my son...

Of course, you do.

Abigail: So I just want to say good night to him, that's all.

But right now, you should be sleeping.

Abigail: Well, I can't sleep. That's why I want to call my husband.

If you could just keep your voice down, we don't want to disturb other patients.

Abigail: You're disturbing me. I didn't--[Chuckles] See, I didn't--I didn't sign up for this. I didn't sign away all of my rights. I get to call my husband if I want to. I put myself here. I can call my husband. That's not fair, you didn't-- no one told me that I couldn't call my husband.

Just not right now.

Abigail: No, I need to call my husband! Okay. Fine, you call him. Go ahead, you call him then. Call Mr. DiMera yourself and ask him if I can talk to him.

Let's give you something to help you relax.

Abigail: You mean you want to drug me? Is that what you're talking about?

Just a sedative to help you rest.

Abigail: No, I don't need any rest. I need to call my husband.

I'm gonna check in with Dr. Robinson, and I'll be right back.

Abigail: Okay, just--I-- I can wait, I'll wait. I don't have to call him. I don't--I'll wait. I don't-- no. [Muttering] I just wanted to call my husband.

Joey: I thought-- I thought you and your ex--

Jade: We never-- he was--he was really just a friend, and... glad I waited.

Joey: Me too.

[Dramatic music playing on TV]

Rafe: [Laughs]

[People yelling on TV]

[Both laughing]

Rafe: What?

Hope: Stop. You're laughing so hard that you're making me laugh, and I can't watch it.

Rafe: No, I'm laughing because you were laughing so hard I couldn't even hear.

Hope: You were--oh, come on.

Rafe: That's why I'm laughing.

Hope: Oh, boy, it's starting, it's starting.

Rafe: What?

Hope: We're bickering.

Rafe: No, we are not, I'm--

Hope: We never bicker. Do we bicker?

Rafe: We argue about things sometimes, yeah.

Hope: Sometimes, yeah.

Rafe: Not really.

Hope: Well, you know what, some--

Rafe: We don't.

Hope: Well, you know what? At this point in my life, I appreciate that.

[Sentimental music]

Rafe: So do I.

Living with chronic migraine feels like

Chad: Gotta get some sleep.

[Baby giggling]

Chad: Sweet dreams, buddy. I know I'm not your mother, but... I'm all you got.

[Baby babbling]

Mrs. DiMera, we have a room for you.

Chad: It's okay.

Abigail: I don't--I don't want to let you go.

Chad: I know. I don't want to let you go either. Okay, but you have to get better, okay? And I'm gonna come and visit you every single day until you get out.

Abigail: When am I gonna get out?

Chad: Soon, baby. Soon.

Abigail: Please don't leave me here.

Chad: I promise, I promise you'll be out soon.

Abigail: [Sobbing] Chad, please.

Chad: I love you.

Abigail: Please don't let me--make me go.

Chad: I love you.

Abigail: Please don't make me leave.

Mrs. DiMera, it's time. We'll take good care of you.

Abigail: I--

Chad: It's okay.

Abigail: No, please.

Come.

Chad: It's okay.

There you go. Your room's ready.

Abigail: I know. Just-- I love you though.

Chad: No, it's okay.

Abigail: It's not okay.

Chad: You got--

Abigail: Please don't. Let me come. I just want to go home.

It's time.

Abigail: I just don't want to go, though. Please don't-- I am just--

Your room's right over here.

Abigail: I love you. I love you. Okay, I know. Right, I'll go with you. [Sobs]

Chad: It's okay.

Abigail: [Groans]

[Laughs] Let's--

Abigail: I don't want to go. I just--

Okay, I know. Hey, I know.

Chad: [Sobs]

[Baby coughs]

[Baby babbling]

[Baby breathing heavily]

[Baby babbling]

[Dramatic music]

Ben: Guess who? I'm back.

Abigail: Ben?

Ben: Yeah. My room's right down the hall.

Abigail: You're supposed to-- you're supposed to be in jail.

Ben: Yeah. Well, I convinced them I needed A...smidge more help. But really... I just wanted to be near you.

Abigail: Why-- why are you dressed like that?

Ben: Oh. They wouldn't let me see you. So I had to get creative. I love you, Abigail. And you know I never stopped.

[Scary music]

Abigail: Is this happening? This isn't happening.

Ben: It's happening.

Abigail: This isn't happening, you're not real.

Ben: It's happening, Abigail. You're not hallucinating. I'm really here, just like I was before.

Abigail: [Whimpers]

Ben: And now... I know you don't love me back. [Clicks tongue] So unfortunately... now you're just a waste of space. All those other people have died...for nothing. You get to pay for that... by becoming my...final victim.

Abigail: Help me. Help me. [Whimpering] [Gasps] [Panting] Help me! [Hyperventilating]

Hope: You know, when Bo... asked you to take care of me, I was angry, I was-- I was really angry, I thought, "you know what, I don't need anyone to take care--" but you're all I have. I couldn't be more grateful. He knew what he was doing. And he picked the right guy.

Rafe: That means a lot.

Hope: I thought I'd forgotten how to be happy. You make me happy, Rafe.

Rafe: You make me happy.

[Romantic music]

[Humming]

Honestly kissing you is like a fantasy every dream is now reality. Tenderly as I feel your heart beat next to me I believe I believe. In destiny heaven is here in your eyes one look and I'm mesmerized I found paradise. I'm lost in your love I can't get enough you're everything I want and more with each perfect touch I want to say so much the words just aren't enough I'm sure I could not ask for more Beautifully your body close to mine is ecstasy everything is just how it should be

Joey: [Sighs] Wait.

Both: Endlessly

Joey: I didn't bring protection.

Jade: [Laughs]

Both: All I need is right here with me

Jade: It's okay. I bought some this afternoon. We good?

Joey: Yeah, we are.

Both: In your eyes one look and I'm mesmerized You Yeah, ooh

[Baby crying]

Abigail: Help me! Help! [Muttering] I just have to tell them I made a mistake. Help me, someone! I made a mistake, I-- I was not supposed to-- help, help! [Groans] Ben's gonna come for me. [Whimpers] Ben's gonna come for me now. I'm never gonna be safe ever again. Never again. Never, never. He's gonna come for me. Never, never again. He's--get-- [Whimpering] [Muttering] [Whimpering]
