Theresa: What are you doing home?
Brady: Oh, I thought I'd grab some lunch here, maybe take Tate out for a while. Do you wanna come?
Theresa: Uh, nope. You can go on ahead without me.
Brady: What's wrong?
Brady: Theresa. What happened to us being open and honest with each other?
Theresa: Okay, fine. Victor kicked me out.
Theresa: What, you-- you're surprised? Brady, you know he hates me. He only let me stay here because of Tate, but I guess something changed, and now he wants me out.
Brady: Oh, man.
Theresa: What does that mean?
Brady: It was me.
Rafe: Chad, Abigail is with her fiancÚ.
Chad: So what?
Rafe: So why are you saying she's running out of time?
Chad: For one thing, Ben's trying to cut out everyone in her life that cares about her.
Rafe: Okay, listen. Listen to me. After your little meltdown in the police station, I went and spoke with Jennifer.
Rafe: And she just heard from Abigail, and Abigail said that things are great between her and Ben, and she's actually gonna stay a little while longer. And she said that she really loves him. So maybe it's time for you to accept that and move on.
Abigail: Ben, I mean it. You need to take me to the emergency room.
Ben: No, come on Abigail, you've been trying to figure out a way to get back to Chad--
Ben: Since we got here.
Abigail: Ben, no, I'm telling you, I told you, I would never lie to you about our baby to get away from you. I'm telling you the truth, Ben, please, it is way too early, if our baby comes now, it might not even survive. Ben, think about it. If our baby died because you wouldn't even help me, then how could you ever live with yourself? Ben, please help me! [Deep breathing] Ben!
Ciara: Mom? What are you doing?
Hope: I don't know.
Ciara: What's in the envelope?
Hope: Just some mail. I can't deal with it right now. Honey, do me a favor, please, uh, just put it somewhere for later, okay?
Ciara: Sure. I can't stand seeing you like this.
Hope: I don't know any other way to be.
Ciara: Well, I know where you should be. And it isn't here, it's with dad.
Kayla: Based on your neurological work-up, and your ct scan, you have a tumor in your brain. It's located in the cerebrum, and it's pretty sizable.
Bo: [Laughs nervously] Oh, so that's what's been rattling around in there. So, what do we do, operate?
Kayla: Based on its size, and your current health...
Kayla: Bo, your body and immune system have been so compromised by what you've been through. Chemotherapy would be too hard on you.
Bo: So, I was right, huh? Sounds like there's nothing much we can do.
Chad: So, does Jennifer think that everything is fine with Abby?
Rafe: I told Jennifer that you were worried about her.
Rafe: She said she heard from Abigail, and everything's fine, and then I left.
Chad: Without asking her what she thinks of all of it?
Rafe: I didn't wanna worry her.
Chad: Even if she should be worried?
Rafe: Wow, I'm really not gonna change your mind on this?
Chad: No, no you're not. Listen, I am sorry about the meltdown at the police station. All right...look, I'm going crazy, all right? I talked to Abigail on the phone. I know something bad is going on with them, okay? So--so no, I'm not just gonna let this go.
Rafe: Listen to me. I told you, I cannot make an official complaint simply because you have a bad feeling. Do you understand that, Chad?
Rafe: My hands are tied here.
Chad: Just answer me one question: Did Jennifer have an actual conversation with Abby? Or was it just a text?
Rafe: It was a text. I saw it, it was from Abigail's phone.
Chad: Ben wrote that text.
Ben: Another one? Are you sure it's not that Braxton Hicks thing?
Abigail: Braxton Hicks doesn't get worse or closer together. Ooh, this is doing both of those things. [Moans in pain]
Ben: Okay. Okay, I believe you.
Abigail: Ben, please take me to the hospital.
Ben: No, no, I can't risk that.
Abigail: Ben, you are risking our baby's life. It is way too early. Please, Ben!
Ben: Okay, I--I'll get some help, I--I d--I don't... know how, but I will-- I'll find a way.
Ciara: [French accent] All right, Madame, we will start with the makeover.
Ciara: So you look pretty when you find dad. Mom, you know I love you, right? So, I'm gonna tell you something, and I want you to listen. Dad loves you, with all his heart. He doesn't blame you for not believing that he was coming back to us, and for moving on with your life. And the only reason that he's staying away is because he thinks that you don't want him here.
Hope: I do want to be with your dad. It's just...my body, it... just doesn't wanna move.
Ciara: Mom, you can do this. You know you can.
Hope: I don't know where your dad is, honey.
Ciara: Shawn said that he's with aunt Kayla. And you have to be this great detective, and hunt him down.
Hope: Great detective? That's funny. I married a man who was planning to kill me, Ciara.
Ciara: Yeah, and that sucks, but that's on Aiden. You can't let this beat you. You have to keep going. You were my rock when dad left. I know you can do this. I'll let you do your own makeup. You don't need much. You're beautiful without it.
Kayla: Listen, I want you to come back to the hospital with me for tests and observation.
Bo: Kay, stop with the "tests and observation," just tell me straight.
Kayla: I promise you that I will do everything in my power to make you comfortable and give you as much time as possible.
Bo: So there is no way to beat this.
Kayla: This tumor has been known to go into remission.
Bo: Have I ever told you that you're the best sister a guy can have? 'Cause you're a fighter, even when the odds are impossible. But I look in those beautiful eyes of yours, and I see the truth. So tell me, how much time do I have? Is it a year, a month, just...Kay, be honest with me. En
Kayla: You are asking me to tell you this when I haven't even done a angiogram or a biopsy.
Bo: Kay, come on, you must have some idea.
Kayla: Hopefully, you'll have months.
Bo: Hopefully? So that means it could be... weeks, or--or days.
Kayla: What this tumor seems to be is a glioblastoma. They create their own blood supply, which makes them grow very rapidly.
Bo: Leave it to me to have a--a crafty tumor. So, come on, tell me, how--how long?
Kayla: If you were my patient, I would tell you to plan for the worst.
Bo: Guess I start living every day as if it were my last.
Kayla: Please... please come back to the hospital with me.
Bo: No, come on, can't do that.
Kayla: Okay, okay, okay. Let me just stay here, okay?
Bo: Kay, no--
Kayla: Let me stay here, I--I'll just shut up about the hospital, I--
Kayla: Okay, then. Can't I just stay with you? I don't want you to be alone.
Bo: Even if being alone is what I need?
Kayla: I just love you too much. [Cries]
Bo: I love you too. Thanks for the honesty. This stays between you and me, okay? I have to tell the family. They need to hear it from me.
Ciara: Oh, hey.
Joey: Hey. You, uh, you wanna go get some coffee at the pub?
Ciara: Um, I actually just came from there. I'm looking for my dad. You haven't seen him, have you?
Joey: No, sorry. How's your mom doing?
Ciara: Oh, she's-- she got home from the hospital. She's having a really hard time.
Joey: How's all this for you? I mean, that--that psycho, Aiden, he was, like, almost your stepdad. I mean, your mom married that guy.
Ciara: Yeah, well, they're not married anymore. He will never be my stepdad because my real dad took care of that freak, thank god.
Theresa: You told victor to throw me out?
Brady: Hold on, hold on--
Theresa: Brady, last night, you told me that I could call this place home, and then you took me here and we made love.
Brady: Theresa, I know.
Theresa: So, what happened? What happened, you just woke up this morning and you thought, "oh my god, what have I done?"
Theresa: 'Cause you weren't acting like that last night.
Theresa: You know what? I've been trying so hard to be a better person...
Brady: I know you have.
Theresa: And you made me feel like you saw that. You made me feel like you really believed that I had changed. So--so what, you've just been setting me up this whole time,
Brady: No. Theresa--
Theresa: I mean, really, Brady, are you that much of a sick bastard? Because if you are--
Brady: Oh my god, plea-- Theresa! Shut up and let me talk.
Chad: Will you please talk to Jennifer again? I will bet you any amount of money that nobody has actually heard Abigail's voice since-- since she and Ben supposedly went to work things out. No one but me. Rafe. Okay, listen. Would you just-- would you try calling her? I bet you Ben answers.
[Cell phone ringing]
Ben: [Laughs nervously] [Sighs] What the hell do you want, DiMera?
Ben: You wanna play games, huh? Go ahead. It will not do you any good, pal. So why don't you just leave us the hell alone? You've lost. It's all over.
Ben: It was him.
Abigail: [Gasps] Chad... please, don't give up, Chad. [Cries out] [Moans]
Brady: I can see why you would jump to the conclusion--
Theresa: Jump to the conclusion, what, that you and victor have been ganging up on me ever since--
Brady: I think it's my turn to...talk. Right?
Theresa: Yeah. Fine.
Brady: Please. I did not tell him to throw you out.
Theresa: Okay, then what happened?
Brady: My grandfather sensed that something had changed between us. I didn't deny it when he asked me about it, and he got very upset.
Theresa: Yeah, I bet he did. You know, he wants you to hate me as much as he does.
Brady: Theresa, that's what I meant... when I said that I think I'm the reason that he asked you to leave.
Theresa: Oh. Look, Brady, I'm so sorry that I called you a bastard.
Brady: It's okay.
Theresa: No, no, it's not okay, I'M...sorry. I just--[Laughs] You know, I don't know where to go, I-- I don't have any money, and I'm not gonna see money for a while, until basic black starts generating sales, and...I-- I can't go to eve's because, you know, what she's going through, and I--
Brady: Theresa. Theresa, let me handle it. I'll make it work.
Theresa: Thank you. Brady, you are such a great dad. Tate and I are so lucky that we can depend on you. Listen, um, why don't I--I take him out for his walk, and... you can just stay here and figure things out. Thank you.
Steve: Hey. Your receptionist said I might find you here.
Kayla: Uh, this is where I go when I need to think.
Steve: What's wrong?
Kayla: Nothing. I mean-- I mean, so much is wrong, I...
Steve: Baby. Wait, wait, wait. Talk to me.
Kayla: I promised Bo I wouldn't.
Steve: You promised Bo? What? What about Bo? Come on, baby, tell me. Come on. What, did those guys, uh, who kidnapped him, did they follow him back here? What?
Kayla: He's sick. He's really sick.
Steve: He's sick? Well, yeah, they, uh... well they beat him, they gave him drugs, I mean, that's to be expected, right?
Kayla: He's got a brain tumor. He's dying. [Sobs]
Bo: You got some wicked, twisted sense of humor. I fight my way out of that hellhole you had me in, I make it back home, and I can finally be with my beautiful wife and daughter. I can be with my family for the rest of my days. But there's one... teeny little catch. I can count those days on my two hands. Damn it! It can't be, it just can't! [Sobs] What do you want? Just answer me that! Why now? Why me? Come on. [Sobs]
Steve: Dying? There isn't anything you can do?
Kayla: What he's gone through... the malnutrition, the dehydration, the... being kept utterly motionless, I...[Sighs] It's taken a tremendous toll on him, and... he is a poor surgical risk at best, and this-- this is brain surgery.
Steve: I mean, don't they do radiation, chemotherapy?
Kayla: It could maybe shrink the tum-- but radiation to the brain carries its own risks, and... I couldn't guarantee him that the time it gave him would be quality time. You know, I was thinking that, maybe, you know, it would be an option later, you know? Maybe he would think about it when he had time to think about it, but... I couldn't even get him to come back to the hospital with me. Maybe you could do that.
Steve: [Whispers] Sweetness... I mean, you said that you can't guarantee what his life is gonna be like after the treatment, right? And you know your brother, he's not gonna go for this.
Kayla: I know. I know. I know it.
Steve: Come here, baby.
Ciara: Mom? "I'm taking your advice, trying to find dad. See you later." [Laughs] Yes!
Ciara: I didn't hear you come in.
Chase: I saw you looking around the room. Were you trying to imagine what happened last night? Thinking about my dad trying to strangle your mom? Right here... in this room? In this house that's supposed to be your home?
Victor: I want someone to have dr. Salinas in sight 24 hours a day. I don't care what he's doing, I want somebody to watch him do it, and report back to me. Good. I thought you were in meetings all day.
Brady: I know you weren't expecting me until tonight. I'm assuming that's why you picked today to throw Theresa out.
Victor: Last time I looked, this was my house. I get to decide who lives here, and who doesn't.
Brady: I suppose the fact that I've told you that she's completely changed because of Tate, that means nothing to you?
Victor: Can't you see that she's just gone underground? She's the same woman who tried to kill your father.
Brady: Listen, she hates the things that she's done. Now she just wants to become a mother that our son can be proud of and look up to.
Victor: You know, I thought that sobriety would enable you to think with your brain, and not with your glands. But, my god, man... woman has turned your brain to mush. I'm starting to wonder whether or not you're capable of running my company.
Brady: You don't like the job I'm doing? Fire me. But you're dead wrong about Theresa. Dead wrong.
Bo: How'd you find me?
Steve: Same way I could always find you. Anywhere on the planet.
Bo: You went to a lot of trouble.
Steve: That's what brothers do.
Bo: Kay never could keep a secret.
Steve: [Sighs] This really sucks, man.
Bo: Tell me about it.
Steve: If there's anything I can do, man, just--
Steve: Just name it.
Bo: You... done plenty, you-- you got me home in time.
Steve: We did that together, buddy.
Bo: Hey. In the end... you know what to do.
Steve: I love you, buddy.
Bo: Love you too.
Theresa: Oh! You dropped your rabbit. There you go, sugar lump.
Theresa: Brady. Hi. Uh... so did you talk to victor?
Brady: I did.
Brady: And I've come to the conclusion that I think it's best for all of us if you leave his house.
Bo: Hey, victor.
Bo: Hi, sorry to disturb you. You got a minute?
Victor: Oh, sure, sit down. What's up?
Bo: I'm a bit concerned that the people who kidnapped me are gonna go after family. Mainly you. I mean, you know more about the drug that helped ma than anybody, except for dr. Salinas.
Victor: I have Salinas in continual surveillance. As far as the people here, I'll take care of them. What else?
Bo: Just flush out those bastards. Deal with them as you see fit.
Victor: They're your captors, I figured you'd want a chance to get even.
Bo: Nah, they--they've stolen too much of my time as it is. I've got more important things to be concerned about.
Bo: Yeah, hope. My kids. Ma.
Victor: You do what you have to do, son. I'll take care of the rest.
Bo: [Speaks foreign language]
Ciara: I grew up in this house. And now, being here alone creeps me out. I try not to think about it, but...
Chase: You can't stop. I guess seeing me creeps you out too?
Chase: Come on. You already admitted it. And I don--I don't blame you. Deep down, you have to be thinking, like father, like son, right?
Chad: So now you believe me, don't you?
Rafe: I don't remember saying that.
Chad: You don't have to. I saw the look on your face when you were listening to Ben. Wait, do you see what I mean now? He did--he didn't take Abby away to go work things out. He doesn't love her. He doesn't even care about her. All he cares about is keeping her away from me.
Chad: Look, don't you get it? He will do whatever it takes to keep us apart.
Abigail: Okay. [Heavy breathing] Oh, please don't hang up, whoever you are, please don't hang up.
Theresa: Victor talked you into this, didn't he?
Theresa: You know what Brady, you said you wanted to take things one day at a time. If this is day two, you can sh--
Brady: Hey, stop, stop, listen, I was-- I'm trying to protect you here.
Brady: I'm not trying to hurt you.
Theresa: How--how is kicking me to the curb protecting me?
Brady: Victor is not gonna let up, Theresa. He made that very clear. If I stand up to him, if I force him to allow you to stay in that house, every minute I'm gone, he's gonna make your life a miserable hell, all right? And Tate is gonna be right in the middle of it. I don't want that for him. I don't think you do, either.
Theresa: No. Of course not, I... okay, so what do I do?
Brady: I will find you and Tate a very nice place to live, and I will make sure that you and I both have time with him, together and apart.
Theresa: You know, I still think this is a cover. Last night happened, and it shook you up, and you didn't know how to handle it, so you're using victor as an excuse to push me away.
Bo: Ma's got her life back now, and... I want you to know that it means a lot to me that you never gave up on her.
Victor: Bo, what haunts me is that I--I gave up on you. I allowed myself to be persuaded that you consciously turned your back on hope and the rest of your family.
Bo: Don't let that worry you, I mean, you're not the only one. The people who kidnapped me went to a hell of a lot of trouble to convince all of you that I wasn't coming back.
Victor: Yeah, but I know you, Bo.
Bo: Yeah, well, so does hope. And she bought it too. But none of that matters now. What matters is the future. And I need you to promise me that you'll always look after ma.
Victor: You and I will do that together, right?
Bo: Absolutely. I will always look after the people I love, for as long as I live.
Ciara: I know you're not like your dad.
Chase: Come on, Ciara, I idolized the guy. I wouldn't hear a word against him. I mean, you must hate me as much as you hate him.
Ciara: No, I don't. Really. I shouldn't have told you that I was scared of you. That was mean. But I told you that I was sorry, and I meant it.
Chase: Your mom says she still wants me to live with you guys. What would that be like for you? I mean, you may not hate me, but...when you look at me, you're gonna see him. You're gonna see what he did. My dad's dead. And I still love who I thought he was. I miss that guy every minute of every hour of every day. God, what am I gonna do?
Hope: Kay. Hey.
Kayla: What are you doing back here? Hi.
Hope: Um, looking for Bo. Ciara said I could find him here.
Kayla: Uh, well, no, uh, he-- uh, he was with me, we talked at the square, and I, um... I don't know where he went after that.
Hope: How is he? Kay, you know something, what is it?
[Abigail grunting] Okay. Aah! [Cries out, groans]
Rafe: I hear what you're saying.
Rafe: I do. But you still do not have enough to file an official complaint.
Chad: You are unbelievable.
Rafe: You know, this would be a hell of a lot easier if I didn't know for a fact that you went out of your way to make Ben's life miserable.
Chad: Well he got back at me. He put me into a coma.
Rafe: Okay, maybe he did, but who provoked who?
Chad: I don't remember! He gave me a brain injury.
Rafe: All right. Chad. You used the police department once before to settle your score with Ben. I am not gonna let that happen again.
Chad: So you're just gonna do nothing?
Rafe: No, I will keep contact with Jennifer unofficially.
Chad: Look, all you have to do is trace her phone. You can figure out where...
Rafe: I can't do that--
Chad: Come on, I saw the look in Ben's eyes today. He's losing it.
Rafe: Oh, he is?
Chad: Yes, he's losing it, all right? What if--what if he kills her while you're just sitting on your hands? You know, you're wasting my time.
Rafe: Chad... Chad, what are you gonna do?
Chad: Well I'm not gonna give up, I'll tell you that. I--I'll make you a promise, if anything happens to Abigail, I will make you pay. Do your job.
Ben: I tracked somebody down. Help's on the way.
Abigail: Thank god. Aah! Ooh. [Deep breathing]
Theresa: You know, how could you do this to me? Brady, I am working my ass off trying to be the mother that I think Tate deserves. I mean, you let me believe that we could be a family. You son of a bitch, you didn't mean a single word--
Ciara: We'll get through this, okay? We'll do it together.
Kayla: Uh, well, maybe there is something that you can help me with.
Hope: What is it? Does it have to do--
Hope: Hey. I was looking for you.
Bo: Oh yeah? Well I've been looking for you all my life.
